so y'all seemed to like lavender marriages so here's some elaboration on everyone's favourite distaster 'straights': montrada!

they're married. maybe ada still had a thing with tamerlane, but monty played knight in shining armour and saved her from that nightmare by giving her another one. how kind of him.

monty's very very not interested in ada, if he has romantic interest in women at all (still toying around with a few ideas). he has... something? with will? something vaguely not straight but it's undefined. situationship, basically. monty cannot for the life of him figure out what it is he wants, and will's been suffering from that probably since they were teenagers (yes, childhood friends willtresor. they weren't really 'friends' until hs but i imagine they grew up in the same town).

i'm still unsure on what EXACTLY i want to do with ada. after a bit of thinking i'm probably not going to give her a romance but i want her to start exploring her platonic relationships more. especially with morella, annabel, and prospero. ada definitely had that 'girls and boys can't just be friends' thing ingrained in her, so it'd be fun to see her realize she really doesn't want anything more with prospero. being friends with morella could help her self-esteem and self-respect tons. properly befriending annabel, maybe finding out she's gay, could be an interesting awakening. same for finding out prospero's aro. possibilities possibilitiesss.

idk how many of y'all have watched challengers but i imagine the relationship is sorta similar: married couple, the husband's weird vaguely gay Thing who also is occasionally with the wife (queerplatonic willada fwb willada. willada—)

they had an on and off situationship that lasted a while. all the beats kinda had it honestly like their link ups were crazy they would put any current polyamory situation in bushwick to shame. in real life bill was more into allen than allen was ever on bill because allen was REALLY into kerouac (who was a LOT into cassady). they did hook up for a while but nothing like deep. the funniest thing in all of this is honestly just how much allen HATED marker lmfao (despite marker even lending him money).
