Favorite color: Either something like Periwinkle or this sort of Pink.

Currently reading: A Darker Shade of Magic by Victoria E. Schwab. I was not initially too into this one, but I'm trying to give it a chance, and it's starting to pull me in. Reading has been difficult for me the past couple of years. I struggle to concentrate when I feel stressed. Gone are the days when getting lost in a good book was my favorite escape from stress, sadly.

Last song: When Emma Falls in Love (Taylor's Version).

Last movie: Avengers: Infinity War. Still slooowly making my way through the MCU. Every time I watch one, I enjoy the movie. Yet I take so long to watch the next one. Haha. I guess committing to a long movie is also hard for me now.

Last series: Currently watching Serial Experiments Lain. It is... very strange. But I tend to like weird, psychological stories like that. It is super making me want to rewatch Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex.

Sweet, savory, and spicy: Sweet. 100% Which is very unfortunate now that I'm diabetic. Sucks to suck.

Craving: Uh, sugar. Always. Life hates me. And I give in way too often. But honestly? Love. Being actually loved. And like, held. I've never had that. And any other craving in my life is trying to replace this lack.

Tea/coffee: Tea. I hate coffee. I don't even like the smell.

Currently working on: ...trying to stay alive? Trying to not let my various mental and physical illnesses completely destroy my will to live? I like Sims 2 a lot lately. I like doing stuff in my game and sharing it with my cousin. I like watching my bestie stream games for me to watch. (Currently 1000xRESIST. More mind-trippy Sci-Fi!) I like holding my guinea pigs and nuzzling their fur. I like watching YouTube with my Mom at night.

Los pensamientos negativos son una forma de anticipar eventos negativos que no tienen por qué ocurrir, y que limitan nuestra capacidad de acción y nuestra autoestima. 

El problema de los pensamientos negativos es muy común en la sociedad actual, donde se piensa más de lo que se actúa, y se reflexiona demasiado antes de hacer las cosas. 

La solución para los pensamientos negativos no es intentar cambiarlos por pensamientos positivos, sino dejar de pensar en ellos, y enfocarse en la acción y en el presente. 

Para dejar de pensar en los pensamientos negativos, se pueden usar técnicas como la parada de pensamiento, que consiste en interrumpir el flujo de pensamientos negativos con una palabra o un gesto, y sustituirlos por una actividad que nos distraiga o nos motive. 

Es importante tener la percepción de que la anticipación negativa es inútil, y que no podemos controlar el futuro, sino solo el presente. 

Se recomienda crear un cuaderno para apuntar el contexto, el momento, las sensaciones, y todo lo que nos pasa cuando tenemos pensamientos negativos, y contrarrestarlos diciendo en voz alta que no van a pasar, y que no son ciertos. 

Se reconoce que no es fácil dejar de pensar en lo negativo, y que a veces se necesita la ayuda de buenos terapeutas que nos puedan ayudar a romper el hábito y a superar el sufrimiento que nos causan los pensamientos negativos.

Last Movie: Pan's Labyrinth. Wasn't planning to watch that but it was the only one showing that day in my uni's cinema, and it totally scared the hell out of me. It's hauntingly beautiful though, in some ways, putting aside the fact that I felt uneasy throughout the entire movie.

Currently Reading: I'm so boring that I'm not currently reading anything 😭😭😭 last read was red white and royal blue and I gave up in the middle, don't hate the movie tho

Currently Watching: as boring as i can be, not currently watching anything but last watch was arrested development which is hella funny until season 3

Last Thing I Wrote: An Arthur/Eames fic which I was very excited about two weeks ago, been writing a bit of it every night until uni life started catching up with me, doubt that I'll be able to finish it within this month or the month after lmao 😭😭

It's like we all collectively forgot as a society that friendship and just connection in general takes effort. Even if you meet someone you immediately click with, it takes hanging out about 20 times (!) to become friends. And guess what, some of those 20 meetings might be awkward or unimpressive.

We all want to reap the benefits (having a friend circle, having a partner, getting married) without doing the work (going to events, interacting with people, learning to handle conflict maturely, dating). Myself included. If I could, I'd never leave the house or go on another mediocre date again... except, that's part of the process.

I guess what I'm trying to say is, the cure to the loneliness epidemic is touching some grass and building tolerance for tedious in-person interactions.

Los pensamientos negativos son normales, cotidianos, y nos pasan a todos en mayor o menor medida, pero también son injustificados y avergonzantes, y nos limitan la vida. 

Se propone crear un capítulo en el cuaderno que se llame antipensamientos negativos automáticos, y apuntar el contexto, el momento, las sensaciones, y todo lo que nos pasa cuando tenemos esos pensamientos. 

Se sugiere una técnica para cortar los pensamientos negativos, que consiste en decirse a uno mismo en voz alta algo que no va a suceder, negando así el pensamiento negativo y sacándolo de la mente. 

Se recuerda que los objetivos se hacen en positivo, y que los pensamientos negativos son anti objetivos que nos alejan de lo que queremos conseguir.
