“What did you wish for?”

It was a simple question. One that Happy realized he didn’t have an answer for. But looking at (Name’s) sparkling eyes and eager smile, he knew he needed to figure one out.

He may have blown the candle out on the cupcake she had made him and brought to the clubhouse. After he had had to spend his day there, too much was going on for him to even register that it was his birthday. But she had.

She had baked chocolate cupcakes, enough to drop off at the bar and have every one of his brothers clamoring to get as many as possible. They were simple though. Chocolate with homemade chocolate frosting spread on top.

He had been in his dorm having a shower and hoping he could go home to his bed and woman soon.

But the cupcake in the container she had presented him wasn’t simple in any way. She had taken her time to not only decorate it but fill it with caramel sauce. The swirl of that chocolate frosting on top was dotted with gold sixlet candies and topped off with a single golden birthday candle.

She didn’t sing, just held it up and declared, “Happy Birthday Happy!”

It only took a smile from her for him to thank her and blow the candle out but now that she asked him what he wished for he didn’t know what to say.

What could he possibly have to wish for? A new gun? A calm week with the club?

That one really was wishful thinking.

But that eager smile on her face did give him pause.

Oddly enough she had asked this question before. One night when they were out for a long ride when they first started dating. A night ride outside of town, where the sky was clearest. They had seen a shooting star and she closed her eyes for a moment. He had just watched her make a wish.

And after she simply looked at him and asked what he had wished for.

All he’d said then was that wishes were for kids.

She’d just shaken her head with a giggle and disagreed.

When he’d asked her to get his crow she’d teasingly said that her wish came true. That night with the shooting star she had wished that they would stay together forever. And getting his crow, becoming his official Old Lady…was better than any ring when it came to commitment and wish fulfillment.

He saw how happy that simple moment had made her.

And that made him happy in more than just his name.

And now here she was asking him that silly little question again. And instead of dismissing her he answered truthfully and unintentionally poetic.

“What do I have left to wish for…I already have you.”

keys jangle annoyingly as simon fishes them from his pocket, a soft huff leaving his lips as he raises them to the lock, trying to determine which key unlocked the front door to his apartment. he'd just gotten off work for the day, somehow the 9-5's on base were harder than actual deployments, exhuasted from paperwork and lousy recruits. a long day with even longer hours, he didn't even get to leave until 7.

as the key wiggled in and the door finally popped open, simon was immediately greated by a loud barrage of sassy 'meows.'

his girlfriend's cat, juniper, was all but shouting at him, walking around his legs.

"what? what's wrong?" simon asks gruffly, looking at the small white cat that encircled his ankles, effectively trapping him in his spot.

meow.

"sorry ma'am, got held up at work." simon apologizes to the feline as she tells him off. another loud, sassy meow coming from the white fluff ball.

the small cat stands in front of simon with a swishing tail and shouts another little 'mew' at him, telling him off for being late. they had dinner plans damnit!

"i know, i'm sorry. i'm home now." the gruff soldier replies, looking down at the cotton ball with eyes staring back up at him. simon bends down to scoop her up in his arms, holding the soft animal close to his chest as he entered the apartment. juniper has no protest, happily letting the muscular man scoop her up off the floor, purring against his chest.

"better now? accept my apology?" simon questions as he closes the apartment door behind him with his boot, both hands occupied by the feline in his arms

"you're home late." a soft voice drifts from around the corner, (name).

"i know, i'm sorry. got held up at work. this one already gave me an earful." simon apologizes sincerely, offering a small, apologetic smile as he scratched under juniper's chin.

"i'd say. she's been waiting for you to come home for 3 hours. wouldn't even eat her dinner." (name) replies with a soft chuckle. "you're home now. that's what matters. i made us your favourite too. i kept it warm in the oven."

simon nods as he places juniper down on the floor and discards his boots, placing them on the shoe rack beside the door.

"thanks, luv." he replies, standing back up straight and making his way over to (name), wrapping an arm around her waist. with his arm around her, simon began making his way towards the kitchen, excited to devour the meal his lovely girlfriend had made. juniper on their heels as they both sat at the table.

Pulling your car into the parking lot, you sit back as the A.C. brushes against your face. Your car was in the repair shop, so you’d been driving Pedri’s and bringing bringing him to and from practice the past few days. He should be out any minute now, so you didn’t bother getting out.

It’s not long before you heard a bundle of voices coming out of the building. A smile graces your lips as you roll your window down, pulling out to meet Pedri half way.

With him is Ferran, Fermín, Gavi and a few others. Teasing looks on their faces as they shove Pedri around. Fermín waves your way, yelling out a greeting to which the other’s giggle at. Your boyfriend shoots them glares, and you hear him tell the others to, ‘shut the hell up.’

Waving back, you watch your boyfriend curiously as he climbs inside. “Hey,” he says, pulling his seatbelt on. You notice instantly how flushed his face was, whether it was from practice or whatever his teammates were saying, you couldn’t tell.

Rolling up your window, your eyes flicker from the rest of the boys who were getting into their respective cars, still seemingly amused, then back to your boyfriend. “What was that all about?”

Pedri halts his movements before the seatbelt clicks. “Uh—nothing.” He answers shortly. Turning to you with a tight lipped smile.

“Didn’t look like nothing.” You point out, still not taking the car out of park. “Tell me.”

Shaking his head, Pedri motions to the gear shift. “Just drive, cariño.”

Letting out an annoyed huff of hair, you shake your head. “Why won’t you—“ Your words are cut short as you feel Pedri’s hands grip your face, pressing his lips to yours, effectively shutting you up. Like it always did. Like he knew it would.

Once he pulls away, you pout. “Fine! Message received.” With that, you put the car in drive and exit the lot.

Pedri smirks, taking one of your hands and threading his through yours. He watches your concentrated driving face, one he could stare at every day, all day, before bringing your knuckles to his lips.

Smiling at the tender piece of affection, you steal a quick glance his way. “How was your day, mi amor?”

Grumman A-6 Intruder an American twin engine all-weather attack aircraft designed by Grumman for the US Navy and US Marine Corps.

The Intruder was conceived in response to a 1957 Bureau of Aeronautics requirement for an all-weather attack aircraft to replace the A-1 Skyraider it was required to perform Navy long-range interdiction missions and to have STOL capability for Marine close air support. Her first flight was April 19, 1960 and was introduced into service 3 years later in 1963.

The A-6 was the first Navy aircraft with an integrated airframe and weapons system. It's 2 man crew (Pilot and Bombardier/Navigator) operated in side by side seating. The A-6 had a staggering 18,000 lb (8,200 kg) payload with an equally impressive 1,010 mile (1,626 km) unrefueled range with max payload, her max speed was 640 mph (1,040 km/h) and cruise speed of 474 mph (763 km/h.) The diverse array of air to surface ordinance the Intruder was capable of carrying included nearly every iron/ cluster bomb in the US Navy/USMC inventory, later on nearly every LGB (Laser Guided Bomb) including the rocket powered AGM-123 Skipper LGB, the AGM-62 Walleye, AGM-65 Maverick, the AGM-84 Harpoon anti ship missile and AGM-45, AGM-78, and AGM-88 HARM Anti Radiation missiles (for eliminating enemy SAMs and Radar installations) ADM-141 TALD (Tactical Air Launched Decoy) And could even carry AIM-9 Sidewinder AAMs for self defense. In addition to the wealth of conventional weapons the A-6 was capable of carrying B43, B57 or B61 Nuclear weapons, and would have delivered them with toss bombing techniques.

In the early 1970's 90 A-6's were converted to KA-6D Tanker aircraft to replace the KA-3B Skywarrior tankers.

Nearly 700 A-6 Intruders were built for the USN and USMC and that's quite a significant number given there were no foreign customers. The Intruder served from 1963-1997 with the US Navy (USMC retired their A-6's 4 years prior in 1993) a 34 year career. The A-6's intended replacement the A-12 Avenger a stealthy flying wing never came to be and in it's stead the F-14 Tomcat with LANTIRN pods took up the precision strike mission until itself being replaced by the F/A-18E Super Hornet.

It was summertime in Akron, NY. Life was simple, peaceful, was. You were excited to be starting as an elementary school teacher. Until they arrived, death Angels, they were called. Slaughtering anyone and anything in sight that made sound. There was only one thing you could do, and that was to survive.

It's been 474 days since the apocalypses began. Winter was approaching, so you and your group decided to venture out. You were careful with each step. Who knows when or where a creature would be lurking. They're quick and stealthy. Almost silent. A mistake your teammate makes resulted in your entire team's demise.

A sudden trip on a hidden string causes a wind chime to clatter down, purposely alerting the creatures. Before your team has a chance to escape, they were quickly dragged off by the creatures. One by one their screams were heard. You ran, as fast as you could. Until your legs almost gave out. You couldn't believe it. Everyone, everyone was gone. You were all alone, dealing with the aftermath of yet another loss.

The adrenaline still pumping though your veins as you took each step. You hadn't even realized the hidden beartrap until it was too late. It takes every ounce of your energy not to scream in pain. You force yourself to swallow it down, muffling a cry. Fat tears role down your cheeks. It takes you a while to compose yourself. After that the realization hits. You were trapped in the middle of nowhere. With only a backpack filled with medical supplies.

This was it, this time, you would surely die. A deep feeling of dread consumes all your senses as you wobble to a sitting position, the pain becoming excruciating. You really did try your best to stay alive. But when your vision begins to blur, you embrace the darkness, letting it consume you.

When you had woken up your body felt heavy. A throbbing pain pulses though your head. It was hard even trying to lift yourself from the bed. Wait, what? You swiftly lift yourself up, looking around to find out just where the hell you were. How the hell did you end up here?!

"You were out for a while," a voice calls. You turn around to find a man seated at a desk, just now finishing up his meal. He's dressed from head to toe. His outgrown beard covers most of his features. A trucker's hat covering the top of his head. It was hard to tell what he looked like in the dark, "Here," he hands you a bowl, it's canned soup. You hesitantly take it from him, "Thank you..." eating it with careful bites.

You notice him still staring but choose to ignore it. He was kind enough to save you back there. Surely he wasn't so bad. Emmett recognizes you the moment he found you lying unconscious at the front of his hideout. For a moment, he thought you were surely gone. Until he hears a faint whine escapes your lips. He doesn't know why he decided to drag you inside. Maybe he just needed a sign.

"Your friends they uh, they didn't make it," feeling sorry for what he'd just said. Your heart broke for them. One small mistake costed them their lives. A part of you carried survivor's guilt with you. Thankfully you weren't alone. He was at the right time and place. When you try kicking your legs out of bed a sharp pain hits one of them. A painful grunt escapes your lips.

You with certain now, your foot was broken, small jagged cuts decorate the heel and ankle. It seems as though he tried to help, "I did my best to stop the bleeding but...'m not a miracle worker," his voice is deep, raspy with age and time. It sounded too familiar. That's when it hits you, "Emmett?" There was no doubt, you were sure it was your old neighbor. Hell, you used to babysit his boys. Your brows furrow, now worried, "What happened to...?"

"Gone, I lost the boys to those things, and Nora, she couldn't take it..." his eyes start to glisten. His once lively spirit now the shell of a man he used to be. He's taken aback when you start to cry, "I'm so sorry Emmett..." you cried, "I loved them so much..." mourning the loss of his family. He knows very well, his boys were fond of you. Even asking if you could be their teacher for the next school year. You even applied to an open position for the upcoming fall. After all this time fate still had a way with bringing people together.

Emmett lets you rest up for a few days while out on a supply run. He even left a few supplies and food by your bedside. You wanted to know where you were, but with your leg being in the condition that it was, it was impossible. For now, it was best to rest while it heals. You didn't want to weigh him down.

In the meantime, you try different ways to stay busy. Each day completing at least two to three tasks around the room. Whether it was stretching, exercising, or attempting to walk again. Soon enough you were able to limp for a certain amount of time. Emmett was sweet enough to get you a crutch.

As time passed, you began to make yourself comfortable. Its been a while since you’ve arrived. To the point where the two of you had a daily routine. Emmett would be out, either hunting or gathering food and supplies. While you stayed to look over the compound. When Emmett would arrive after a long day of work, he'd come home find a homecooked meal waiting. It's been a while since he’s had a proper meal.

Emmett halts at the door, watching as you hum a tune while finishing up dinner. You sat on a wheeled office chair while getting the plates ready. He approaches you from behind, "Here, let me," carrying dinner to the table. The both of you ate in silence. But it wasn't awkward, you both enjoyed each other's company. You're the first one to speak up, "Hey so..." starting the conversation, "As soon as my leg heals, would it be alright if I come help?"

Emmett couldn't hide the look of disapproval on his face. He doesn't think you're ready, or even fit to go out there, "No,"

Just the thought of a pretty little thing waiting for him at home. He felt guilty. As if he didn't deserve a second chance. So, what does he do when confronted with a problem? He avoids it altogether. Emmett would spend hours going on raids just to avoid being in the house. Being alone with a pretty little thing like you would only lead to trouble.

It's been a while since he'd been with someone. During a supply run he'd found a few magazines to help, but it hadn't done the job. They weren't the same. Not even close. He can't even remember the last time he's emptied himself deep inside a pussy. His breathing becomes shallow from the thought of it.

"Emmett? No..." tears began to form. You couldn't run away from him, not with a limp. All you could do was scurry to the corner of the bed. Emmett links the chain to bottom of the metal bedframe. He held your good ankle in hand before linking it to the cuff. You're well aware he's much stronger, he even carried you all the way down here. He straddles your waist, and you scream profanities, lashing out at the man you once called a friend.

Emmett tries pleading with you to hear him out, he tries to muffle your screams with his hand. But instead, you retaliate by biting it. He grunts in pain, now retrieving it. He's not amused at all by your little rebellious stunt. This wasn't you. He doesn't have time for any temper tantrums. He's not angry, only determined, "Fine, have it your way," he's done having to fight for what's rightfully his.

1938 Mercedes-Benz W154

In September 1936, the AIACR (Association Internationale des Automobile Clubs Reconnus), the governing body of motor racing, set the new Grand Prix regulations effective from 1938. Key stipulations included a maximum engine displacement of three liters for supercharged engines and 4.5 liters for naturally aspirated engines, with a minimum car weight ranging from 400 to 850 kilograms, depending on engine size.

By the end of the 1937 season, Mercedes-Benz engineers were already hard at work developing the new W154, exploring various ideas, including a naturally aspirated engine with a W24 configuration, a rear-mounted engine, direct fuel injection, and fully streamlined bodies. Ultimately, due to heat management considerations, they opted for an in-house developed 60-degree V12 engine designed by Albert Heess. This engine mirrored the displacement characteristics of the 1924 supercharged two-liter M 2 L 8 engine, with each of its 12 cylinders displacing 250 cc. Using glycol as a coolant allowed temperatures to reach up to 125°C. The engine featured four overhead camshafts operating 48 valves via forked rocker arms, with three cylinders combined under welded coolant jackets, and non-removable heads. It had a high-capacity lubrication system, circulating 100 liters of oil per minute, and initially utilized two single-stage superchargers, later replaced by a more efficient two-stage supercharger in 1939.

The first prototype engine ran on the test bench in January 1938, and by February 7, it had achieved a nearly trouble-free test run, producing 427 hp (314 kW) at 8,000 rpm. During the first half of the season, drivers such as Caracciola, Lang, von Brauchitsch, and Seaman had access to 430 hp (316 kW), which later increased to over 468 hp (344 kW). At the Reims circuit, Hermann Lang's W154 was equipped with the most powerful version, delivering 474 hp (349 kW) and reaching 283 km/h (176 mph) on the straights. Notably, the W154 was the first Mercedes-Benz racing car to feature a five-speed gearbox.

Max Wagner, tasked with designing the suspension, had an easier job than his counterparts working on the engine. He retained much of the advanced chassis architecture from the previous year's W125 but enhanced the torsional rigidity of the frame by 30 percent. The V12 engine was mounted low and at an angle, with the carburetor air intakes extending through the expanded radiator grille.

The driver sat to the right of the propeller shaft, and the W154's sleek body sat close to the ground, lower than the tops of its tires. This design gave the car a dynamic appearance and a low center of gravity. Both Manfred von Brauchitsch and Richard Seaman, whose technical insights were highly valued by Chief Engineer Rudolf Uhlenhaut, praised the car's excellent handling.

The W154 became the most successful Silver Arrow of its era. Rudolf Caracciola secured the 1938 European Championship title (as the World Championship did not yet exist), and the W154 won three of the four Grand Prix races that counted towards the championship.

To ensure proper weight distribution, a saddle tank was installed above the driver's legs. In 1939, the addition of a two-stage supercharger boosted the V12 engine, now named the M163, to 483 hp (355 kW) at 7,800 rpm. Despite the AIACR's efforts to curb the speed of Grand Prix cars, the new three-liter formula cars matched the lap times of the 1937 750-kg formula cars, demonstrating that their attempt was largely unsuccessful. Over the winter of 1938-39, the W154 saw several refinements, including a higher cowl line around the cockpit for improved driver safety and a small, streamlined instrument panel mounted to the saddle tank. As per Uhlenhaut’s philosophy, only essential information was displayed, centered around a large tachometer flanked by water and oil temperature gauges, ensuring the driver wasn't overwhelmed by unnecessary data.

This is mostly a passion project of mine about The Titans! The general consensus I have seen on this website is that their history is confusing and people don’t know where to start so …. This guide includes ALL pieces of Titans Media.

Even the ones that just include some of the core members on different teams because I want to and related series. I want to be as through and complete on this as possible.

(I dont include the JL: No Justice and ODYSSEY JL(2018) thing when they were taking on their role or something mind numbing along those lines because… its JL & i didn’t really care and frankly who does ? But it’s before the tom taylor titans run so I wanted to preface with that. )

Just to start this is all my opinion and you can really begin wherever you feel like it if you want to !

TEEN TITANS (1966)

before you read the Teen Titans (1966) series you should read

- Brave and The Bold ( 1955) #54 and #60 if you want to read right from the start chronologically!

- Showcase #59 before Roy joins the team

The Original Team of the TEEN TITANS was a series that ran through the 60’s beginning in 1966 - 1973 and had a comeback in 1976. It had 53 issues.

The original series consisted mostly of Robin ,Wonder Girl , Kid Flash and Aqualad with many a cameo from other teens.

You can either read the OG Series but its completely optional it’s pretty outdated and silly but it’s a fun ride even then. In my opinion its best to leave for after you have been endeared to the character’s.

By this point they remembered that “hey these guys aren’t teens anymore ” and thus renamed it to NEW TITANS . This series started off well enough and quickly devolved into arguably one of the worst runs I ever read.

New Titans #81 is part of War Of The Gods and Annual 7 is part of Armageddon 2001 ( don’t bother ) annual 8 is part OF YET ANOTHER EVENT . Again don’t bother.

important stuff happens to Kory in Final Night #1 so thats there too! Also Batman Chronicles #7 because it’s so sweet and is donna & dick platonic soulmates thesis.

Don’t bother after Batman shows up unless your really invested in the non titans characters.

Around this time Infinite Crisis happens. A LOT of Titans die and I feel as though you kinda have to read it ESPECIALLY for 1 death that will be very relevant and talked about. Also WW3 happens after and the titans are ALSO there and yet another one is killed though no one ever mentions it again.

POST - OYL TT 2003

Ok so I basically consider post OYL TT ‘03 to be a totally different team because… well it is . All of the NTT crew leave and are replaced by a handful of cameos and eventually like Rose Wilson and Kid Devil and because at this point half of the YJ gen is well…dead . It was pretty dire at this point though I find the character interactions endearing. This series remains like that until N52.

They have crossovers with Red Robin aswell as Wonder Girl Vol.2.

If you know what happens in that book well you know that Roy ends up relapsing and going down a much darker mindset.

Series swings between being really good and being a mischaracterising MESS.

Jericho ( Joey Wilson yes he IS ALIVE ) seemed to have plans to assemble a new TITANS team and reunite their family and Roy well it seemed he was on a path to redemption he was almost there close to moving to recovery and healing and he could do it with—

N52 . POST FLASHPOINT ERA.

The N52 was bad isnt a particularly outrageous statement but IT WAS EXTREMELY bad in relation to the Titans. Bluntly put none of it ever happened and the only titans ( TEEN TITANS ACTUALLY) that had ever existed were the TT2003 guys . Just them. Fab Five never existed. NTT never existed.And all of the other og TT guys were …… WALLY never existed. Donna was a one note villain Garth was a baby I think… Dick was …. There I guess.. ROY was a dumbed down alcoholic with no purpose other than to gawk at how cool and oh and ahh at Jason Todd . ( KORY …… truly just awful what happened to her ).

They have 2 series . Read at your own peril they’re better if you pretend that the characters aren’t supposed to be … like the characters that they are . ( scott lobbell shouldn’t of been allowed to touch a pen ) Raven isnt as bad as she could’ve been so I will give it that. But Lobell is a sexual harasser so if you are going to read it try and 🏴‍☠️.

I will never touch this book again.

I use this blog to post my translations of certain chapters of the novel '내가 키운 S급들' (S-Classes That I Raised / My S-Class Hunters). Currently I'll just be posting random chapters out of order, mainly from my favorite parts of the story.

A few notes about my translations:

Each chapter is done with a mix of MTL and manual translation.

I try to stick with names and terms from the official English webtoon, except where I think a term should be translated differently for better literary effect.

I try to include Korean honorifics, except the intimate form “-ie/-ah/-yah” unless intimate address is significant.

Translations reflect the original webnovel serialization. However, I'm happy to update based on the edited e-book if someone sends me a non-DRM version.

I do not guarantee that my translations are accurate or that I do proper proofreading of everything (sorry!). I gladly welcome corrections of my errors.
