SECOND BULLET II:
. . . . . . .
You stand in front of your wall, watching all the pinned photos of Bangtan with a red string connecting all of them. The string was bonding their faces with natal cities, possible families or relatives, and also, schools, universities and friends they might have in their past.
You were collecting information since yesterday. You started your investigation as soon as you got home after meeting them. You didn’t sleep at all, but lucky for you, you had some friends that were hackers and computer programmers that helped you to get more information about Bangtan’s past.
It wasn’t easy to try to discover their past, in fact, there is a big void of information about them. Just two of them had social media years ago, now inactive; belonging to Jimin and Jungkook, the others don’t have many information about them on the internet.
They were like ghosts, not that it surprises you though. It was pretty common to not find many information about the people working in this business. But even though, they usually have some kind of digital footprint, unless they faked their dead to exist as someone else, as some ghost with no past.
“What are you guys hiding that forced you to getting erased from earth,” you muttered to yourself, with your fingers on your chin and eyes narrowed at the wall.
This was becoming even more interesting than before. Not many targets of yours acted like shadows hiding their identity, that was your job. You were breed for this type of life, for lying and killing. You have no digital footprint and no real identity attached to you. You were a ghost, but so were they.
Filth lures filth. But the similarities and the challenges only made you even more excited.
The real mystery was; why were they erased from life? Why did they bother if they were just a small criminal organization, one that doesn’t have a lot of enemies.
Hiding and faking deaths were for spies only -for hitmen-, not gang members.
You bit your bottom lip watching every bit of information you have collected. Nothing about that information was certain or proved to be true, they were just assumptions.
Your phone ringing pulled you out of your thoughts, you frowned when you saw Jungkook’s name on your screen, but you answered the call anyway.
“Yes?” You didn’t even say hello, it was rude to call at three in the morning. But you were also curious of why was he calling you.
“Uhm hi, I’m-I’m sorry for calling you this late, I just… uhm, I need your help, it’s really important.” He stuttered, sounding hesitant of your reaction.
You hummed at his words, glancing at his pictured pinned to your wall.
“Sure thing, where’s the body?” You teased, hearing Jungkook’s chuckle at the other side of the phone.
“Don’t worry, I don’t need your help for that stuff,” he teased back.
You blinked, taken aback by him again.
“So…?”
There was a couple of seconds of silence between you two, until he took courage to speak up again.
“My hyungs never take me seriously, they-they believe I can’t control my emotions, that I can’t contribute with something… good. I feel like a puppy to them sometimes, although I have so much to thank Namjoon for… I still feel left out.”
You listened carefully to his blurted words, recording the call and taking mental notes of some interesting points, like him being grateful to Namjoon to the point that he thinks he owns him obedience.
And also, the supposed lack of control of his emotions.
Everything he said can be weaponized against him.
“I think I already know where’s this going. You want me to include you in my plans, am I right?”
“Please,” he whispered, with desperation written on his voice.
You grinned widely.
“All right, let’s do that.”
There was silence again, one that made you feel uncomfortable.
“You aren’t hiding something from us, right? Like your identity? I mean… everybody hides something, but faking an identity it’s just plaint betrayal.”
His tone dropped an octave. His words felt like a dangerous threat hiding underneath fake naivety. You felt shivers on your body.
“I’m real.” It’s all you said, regretting not elaborating more.
He let out a dark chuckle.
“Good, because I like you, and I don’t like liars. There’s a reason why my hyungs don’t let me… deal with people, because when I’m hurt, I can get a little bit… crazy.” He whispered lowly, but you heard his every word loud and clear.
You felt like throwing up, and you don’t know why.
“Bye Jungkook,” you were too uncomfortable and too tired to do this at three in the morning.
“Bye my little Ann, remember our little secret… deal. And don’t worry about my hyungs discovering us, I’m good at protecting what is mine.” He said it like a warn before hanging up the call.
Your heart was pounding and your hands trembled. You inhaled and exhaled sharply, trying to calm yourself down, but it was useless; you were having a panic attack.
You sat on a chair, covering tightly your ears and shutting your eyes close.
I’m safe I’m safe I’m safe I’m safe I’m safe I’m safe I’m safe I’m safe I’m safe I’m safe I’m safe I’m safe I’m safe I’m safe I’m safe I’m safe I’m safe I’m safe I’m safe I’m safe I’m safe I’m safe I’m safe I’m safe.
You mumble those words to yourself like a prayer in a loop, believing that if you say it more times and more loudly, the bad thoughts will stop tormenting you.
You had some heavy childhood traumas, but you tried to cope with them with your work and success. But things like people finding out your plans and making you feel dumb, served as trigger for your deepest insecurities.
Your Bruderherz was right, they were a difficult task. And for the first time in your life, you were doubting your skills.
Fuck Bangtan, you won’t let them outsmart you that easy.
But maybe they will; whispered that ugly and cruel voice at the back of your head.
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
You weren’t feeling okay. You felt dizzy and exhausted, Jungkook’s words haunted you even in your dreams, making you unable to sleep a blink last night.
Your mind wasn’t present at all, and someone in the room noticed it.
“What are you thinking about?” Asked Yoongi scrutinizing you with narrowed eyes, his stare was fixated on you since the moment you put a foot in their mansion.
You blinked, pulled from your thoughts by his question.
“Nothing important,” you said back with a shrug.
Yoongi stands inches in front of you, looking straight into your eyes. There was a little frown in his brows, and his cat eyes glinted with inquisitiveness. He can see right throughout you, and you didn’t like that at all.
“What?” You snapped at him, but he didn’t even flinch, unbothered by your menacing stare.
“Tell me what’s wrong so I can fix it, I want your full attention on this plan, on us.”
You widened your eyes, taken aback by his words. But his concern was unnecessary, because the source of your worry was one of his friends.
“It’s okay, don’t bother. I’ll pay more attention.” You cleared your throat, dropping your gaze on the digital map of the tactile screen from the table.
You felt fingers gripping and turning your chin towards Yoongi again. His eyes were intense, studying carefully your expression.
“Who’s bothering you? Tell me now,” he commanded with a deep frown. Impatience flashing his dark eyes.
You didn’t say anything at first, you won’t tell him that Jungkook’s been plotting behind their back, at least not now. You’re saving that piece of information for later, so you can have something to use against Jungkook and to tear their gang apart.
And also, you would never tell him about your stupid panic attacks, so you have to make up a good lie.
“It’s my dad, he’s been… insufferable lately. But I guess he’s just worry about me being far away from him.”
Yoongi didn’t say anything back, nodding slowly at your words with his arms crossed over his chest. You weren’t sure if he believed you or not.
“If I were your dad, I’d lock you up, considering how reckless you are.” He teased with a mocking smirk curling on his lips.
“I like that idea very much,” said Jimin coming from nowhere, grinning mischievous at the both of you.
You rolled playfully your eyes at him, although the uneasy feeling churning in your stomach didn’t disappear.
People sometimes tend to say truths throughout “harmless” jokes. And coming from them, you’d take seriously everything they say.
You became aware of them throwing glances at you and taking notice of your grumpy demeanor. That’s why you changed your sulking behavior, giving them your full attention and participating more in the plan.
You almost forgot the most important rule; you can’t show them insecurity, you can’t show them weakness, or they’ll eat you alive.
You shield all of your emotions and thoughts. Standing tall, making a room for you in this kind of meeting, and holding everyone’s gaze, even though you were anxious in the inside.
Your plan of getting rid of them was becoming more difficult as the days goes by, and that’s starting to worry you. You knew they wouldn’t be an easy target, and that this plan will take some time, but they’re suspecting you, watching your every move more carefully, warily.
“You’ve been acting strange all day,” Namjoon’s deep voice coming from behind you made you startle. You turned around to face him with your heart pounding in your ears.
You look up at him, holding his gaze. He was staring down at you with curiosity.
“Yeah, I noticed you all staring at me like hawks. I just had a bad day with my dad, that’s all,” you said crossing your arms over your chest, and then uncrossing them, remembering that that’s a way of showing defensiveness through your body language.
Namjoon took noticed of the movement, looking lost in thought.
“For some reason, I don’t believe you.”
He didn’t state it as an accusation but as a fact, like he genuinely believes that you’re being dishonest with him.
You were truly impressed by the sharp mind of these guys, but you won’t let them win, not now and not ever.
“I’m just… so tired of this lifestyle so to speak, and yes, I know you warned me before, but I want my dad to let me live my life for once, just for once, here, in this city.” You said biting your bottom lip in worry, averting your gaze to the side.
You mixed your real feelings with lies, because that would make your vulnerable act more credible.
Were you really tired of this lifestyle? Of fucking course, but you were more tired of not finishing their lives quickly. You want your trip to Europe so bad, to take a break from a life you didn’t ask for.
You watched him frowning at your words, with concern flashing his eyes. You noticed that he was the type of person that worries a bit too much about other people, that’s why he’s the one in charge, because he knows all too well the weight of taking responsibility for others.
“I see.” That’s all he said, with his dark gaze piercing you, trying to see right throughout you.
You noticed his gaze shifting to behind your back, and a devilish smirk curling on his lips.
“Hello there, grumpy girl,” whispered hotly someone into your ear, making you gasp and startle. You turned your head back to meet with Hoseok, he gripped your shoulders while looking into your eyes with mischievousness.
“Why don’t we bring this spoiled and absent-minded girl to Seokjin?” Said Namjoon staring piercingly at you, making you frown.
“What-“
“Shall we?” Asked Hoseok with amusement.
And before you could say anything, Namjoon gripped tightly your hand, almost dragging you towards Bangtan’s office where Seokjin was sitting in front of the desk, with all of the other members sitting comfortably on the couch. They looked at you immediately after you put a foot in their office.
“Here she is,” hummed Yoongi.
“Ann, please take a seat,” Seokjin gestured to the chair in front of the desk. You did as he said as smoothly as possible, not wanting to show them the turmoil of thoughts racing your mind.
“What’s up guys? I feel like I’m being scolded by the school’s principal,” you chuckled with a forced smile, trying to ease the tension of your shoulders and of the room.
You heard Jimin giggle at your back, but Seokjin’s poker face and tight lips made you feel even more worry.
“I- well, we noticed that you weren’t mentally present at all in the meeting.”
You couldn’t help to huff and roll your eyes at him, they were acting really dense with the topic, you have never met someone in your life that cared that much about your attention and inner conflicts.
“I already told you all why, it was just a personal issue with my dad.”
Irritation flashed Seokjin’s narrowed eyes. You supposed he didn’t like your attitude at all. But well, not only were you feeling drained by them, but your character is supposed to be a spoiled girl who doesn’t know boundaries, even with dangerous people like him. Maybe that’s why he said nothing to your rude tone.
“Yes, you say it a hundredth times. But I don’t want to talk about your dad, I can’t care less for him. I want you to fix whatever that problem is, because we need everyone in this room to be present physically and mentally at all times.”
There was a sour expression flashing Seokjin’s face, but besides that, he looked very professional, cold and composed.
They weren’t playing around with their business; you should’ve known better.
“And also… we can help you with your little problem, in fact, we’re looking forward to it.” This time, a wolfish grin curled on his lips, and his eyes glinted with intensity, fixated piercingly on you.
Your heart stopped at his words. You frowned glancing around the room to look at the members, they were staring at you like wolves circling their prey, and you didn’t like that at all. You felt trapped. But you felt even more confused as to why were they so eager to help you.
“But… why?” You muttered, looking back at Seokjin.
Seokjin’s grin widened at your question, leaning his upper body closer to you across the desk.
“Because as long as you work for us, we own you. And we took really good care of our proprieties, even if they’re temporary. We’re a very territorial group, and we like to protect each other, otherwise we wouldn’t be here alive.”
You widened your eyes and parted your mouth with genuine shock, you felt as if he had poured a bucket of cold water on you.
His tone felt possessive, they really think you belong to them. They see you as their property, according to Seokjin’s literal words. You couldn’t believe what he just said, you wanted to hysterically laugh on his face, in fact, you bit your bottom lip to stop yourself from cracking up with laughter. They were so, so funny.
“Oh, that’s really interesting. So that means you all belong to me too, temporary, of course.” You teased, feeling the confidence return to your body.
“Yes, of fucking course sweetheart,” purred Jimin from the couch, devouring you with his half-lidded gaze.
Your smile fell a little, they were so strange.
“We all belong to each other in this room, that’s why you should be careful to not betray us. You need to trust us and earn our trust; we are a really loyal group.” Remarked calmly Namjoon, as if he was talking about the weather and not about owning you like a pet.
“Well, they said that betrayal comes from the people we trust the most, and I am a simple stranger for you guys. I won’t be a disloyal rat, I get it okay? Because I’ll be in danger. Let’s move on from that topic, shall we?”
Your patience was running thin, you felt the primal need to flee from this den of wolves.
“Don’t get too cocky, you belong to us but that doesn’t mean you have power over us,” Growled Taehyung from behind you.
“Taehyung,” warned Yoongi with a frown.
The boy got up of the couch, walking away with clenched fists. You didn’t know what set him off this time. He always looks angry.
“Don’t take it personal, he’s just afraid of liking you too much,” said nonchalant Yoongi, making you feel surprised.
“You’re dismissed, Ann.”
You take happily your leave, taking notice of Jungkook smirking and winking at you before you leave the office. His gesture made you feel shivers.
You learn two important things today; 1) they took notice of everything; nothing escapes their sight. And 2) They were really, but really loyal to each other, so much that it scares you a little.
But all of that can be used on your favor, as they say; divide and rule. If you can turn them against each other, then you will have power over them.
You felt a rush of greed run your veins, the five million of dollar worth nothing in comparison to owning and stealing their legacy. You can rule Bangtan and get rid of them, killing two birds with one stone.
You just hope that they never found out who you really are, because if so, you chose to die before letting them get their crazy hands on you.
||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
You were yanked towards a dark room in your way to the mansion’s doors. A hand on your mouth muzzles your screams, your eyes tear up with fear when you were dragged into the room, watching another male closing and locking the door behind you, trapping the three of you inside.
“Shhh, it’s okay we just want to have a chat with you, we won’t hurt you.” You recognized Jungkook’s voice, he mouthed those words with your back glued to his front body.
“We’ll be nice only if you cooperate,” hissed Taehyung walking towards you.
You blink quickly your eyes trying to accommodate them to the darkness of the room. You spot Taehyung’s silhouette inches from your body, he looked even more threatening this closely.
You nodded slowly after seconds of uncomfortable silence. Jungkook let go of your mouth, but his arm gripped your waist instead, pushing you harder into his chest.
You gulped your fear and discomfort away. You can’t show them weakness, or they’ll eat you alive.
“What do you want from me? Wouldn’t it be easier if you asked me like normal people? This is unnecessary, even if you want me to bury a body, I would help you guys, no need for the theatrics.” You scolded with a sigh, trying to arrange your shirt down but Jungkook’s arm didn’t let you.
“You always have an answer for everything, don’t you?” Taehyung huffed with annoyance, leaning his body even closer to you, making you stiffen. “We drag you here to have a private conversation, without our hyungs.”
That spike your interest very quickly, you quirk a brow, wanting to know their intentions.
“I’m all ears,” you said, resting your back deeply into Jungkook’s front, you heard him inhale sharp.
Taehyung explained to you how he needs to participate more in your plan, and he heard from Jungkook how you will help the younger. Long story short; the both of them basically want you to include them more, like little boys wanting to have more credit to impress their hyungs. It was almost adorable.
And you will help them, but that help will come with a price.
Divide and rule.
“Glad to make business with you,” teased Taehyung after the three of you came with an agreement.
You tried to pull away from Jungkook’s grip but that boy didn’t let you go, and before you could say anything to him, Taehyung’s body brushing yours made your heart stop.
His nose was near yours, with his hot breath brushing your lips. You were trapped between the both of them, and suddenly you felt claustrophobic, like a weak prey cornered into its predator’s trap.
“Now, what do you want?” Your voice quivered, betraying you.
Although you couldn’t see their smiles, you could felt them anyway.
“We’ll give you a little show of what will happen if you try to turn us against our hyungs.” Threatened Taehyung lowly.
And then Taehyung’s body crashed against yours, making Jungkook ram into the wall behind them, dragging you with him. The both of them were glued to your back and front, making you feel asphyxiated. They were stronger, making it impossible for you to free yourself from their python grip.
You felt Jungkook’s lips kissing your neck, with his tongue lapping slowly the skin like a thirsty dog. The grip of his arm around your waist tightens painfully.
Taehyung spread your ankles apart with his foot, positioning his groin uncomfortably closer to yours, you felt his lips brushing your cheeks, melting you with desire and fear. You didn’t want this, but your body reactions were out of your control, and you hated not being in control.
“You’ll rape me? You think that will scare me?” You defy them breathless.
The both of them chuckled at your words.
“Oh, you have no idea what we’ll do, our hyungs will participate too, and believe me; they’re crazier,” mouthed Taehyung near your lips, his words made you feel shivers.
“If you get into their hands, you won’t see the light of the day ever again. You’ll be our little puppy, trained to obey us,” coed Jungkook behind you, sounding eager for that to happen.
You felt dread at their words, your worst fear was being deprived of your freedom and autonomy.
“Okay okay! I get it, let me go please,” you plead, and they stopped immediately, letting you go.
You felt your knees wobbling when Jungkook stopped holding you, like a baby dear learning to walk.
That day you got to your home with a blank gaze, ignoring your hackers’ work partners.
And when you sleep, you dream of ropes and devilish smirks, tying a leash around your neck.
You were fucked up.

can I ask about Five and what exactly her backstory is? I didn't get her in the oc quiz you made but I'm curious
FIVEEE I love her. This is really reminding me about all my ocs I abandoned...
Five is part of a line of androids made after the conclusion of the serpentine war. There was rising tension between civilians and the elemental masters- the EMs were seen as an unstoppable force, unchecked and dangerous. A collection of the brightest mids of ninjago came together to create a secret facility where they developed a specific weapon that would be able to defeat and elemental master should they turn against the public... Androids with special cores made from the newly developed chronosteel. They had the ability to forcibly steal an Element from an EM should the situation call for it. They would be designed indistinguishable from humans and would be made to integrate into the lives of EMs as spies.
Five is the last android made in the line- five, four, three, two, one, and Zero. When the time twins turn on the Elemental Alliance, they catch wind of the facility and destroy it, killing one-four. Zero was smuggled out by his creator and saved, the two going into hiding in birchwood forest. Five was presumed dead and left dormant in the destroyed facility.
When the other EMs choose to fight against the time twins, civil unrest dies down as it becomes clear the EMs will turn on each other should a few of them choose the path of tyranny. They idea of android spies is scraped, the facility left to ruin, and the mechanics/programmers were scattered.
During Prime Empire, when Unigami spreads the game, he reaches out to the destroyed facility and turns on the generators/computers inside. Once he's defeated, the facility stays on- and with the system reboot, Five is awakened.
She wakes up inside a tomb, the bodies of her siblings dead in their docking stations. She has a big mental breakdown and decides that EMs are all unforgivable and evil, traveling across ninjago stealing elements. When she gets to ninjago city and attacks the ninja- she comes face to face with something that doesn't make any sense.
Zero, her oldest sibling, is here. He's not dead.
he's working with the enemy. He has an element- Ice. He calls himself Zane. and he has no idea who she is.

What's on the TV?
Part ONE
As you know, I've gone totally INSANE after watching this scene. I can't stop thinking about it, it doesn't want to let me go so I'm gonna make it everybody's problem and I'll start yapping about it.
First, however, let me make two things clear:
1. I secretly don't give full credit to the writers for having written this great scene because I don't think they wrote it having in mind what EYE have in mind. The way I see it, the writers wrote this scene specifically to start priming Juliet for self-sacrifice and I'm NOT okay with that. What I mean is that for the writers Juliet is not a subject in this scene, she has "value" as a character only because she supports Sawyer's story. Why do I know this? Because you can't write a female character like Juliet (a woman abucted and taken as prisoner for years) talking about how "playing house" time is over for her and Sawyer because she watched... Jack and Kate coming out of Jack's house? Jack and Kate? Of "Jack and Kate Who Tried Played House and Failed Sooooo Badly" fame? The same Jack and Kate who are actively faking their identies and performing being someone else both literally and metaphorically (these two are not mentally okay but more on this later)? More importantly, we're talking about the same Kate who "played house" with Kevin by playing Monica? Juliet KNOWS what performing looks like, what it means, how it feels. And Kate KNOWS it as well. They have been performing for so, sooooo long. But the writers clearly don't know what this means, otherwise they would've shown us that they feel at least guilty about the misogyny in the storyline they've decided to carry on (the love triangle/square). I know they're in bad faith because what's missing here is the mirror-scene where Kate spies on Juliet and Sawyer from her house. This would tell me that what's at stake here is not the love of a man but the illusion of safety, of "making it work", the illusion of "the right choice": "I could've left but I didn't, I ended up trapping myself here but it was for the best, wasn't it?". Except, it was NOT. It's still very bittersweet and sexist but AT LEAST this would show that the writers know as well. Alas, that's not the case.
2. Having said that, the scene is still great and I still have to credit them for its greatness because this is what happens when your story has solid foundations. And LOST's got them so even when they fuck up their own characters it's still worth watching. This doesn't excuse the misogyny, let's all be clear, but I just want to say that the characters are still compelling enough for us to keep watching. And that's because of what was done with them before.
So, let's start.
"What's on the TV?" is a decidedly loaded thing to say in the context of LOST season 5. Let's see why.
First of all, TVs in the Dharma initiative are not for fun, okay? They're used to spy on people, to betray people (Juliet in "The Cost of Living" will always be famous to me), to manipulate people, to control people. In other words, TVs are weapons. And what do these TVs show? Well, I'd say that in a meta-way they show some sort of reality TV programme, aka people watching people doing things. But, you see, the thing is that reality TV is not really "reality TV": there's always a filter in the form of the authors, the cuts, the editing etc. You never really see "reality TV" because... it's still TV, it's still performance.
So "What's on the TV?" also indicates "what are you watching?" or "what fiction/performance/accurately created programme to cater to your desires to sell you stuff are you watching?". To put it simply: what are they selling and what are you buying?
Juliet watching "TV" then means that Juliet is buying into the fantasy Jack and Kate are performing. I can't stress enough the fact that she cannot know that that is a fantasy because she doesn't have the same bigger picture that we, the audience of the "real" TV have, but Kate and Jack are as much performing as she is. So Juliet watching Kate and Jack is not Juliet watching TV but it's Juliet watching herself into a mirror. While Juliet locked herself in to "play house", Kate has locked herself out to do the same thing (and I could draw a paralle with Juliet and Jack as the Heroes but I won't because I want to talk about Juliet and Kate, full stop).
So Kate coming back to the island and acting as the snake in the Garden of Eden and "ruin" Juliet and Sawyer's little play-pretend doesn't actually make that much sense now. Unfortunately, Juliet was her own snake when she bought into the illusion that she could indeed "play house" on the island and that would be enough for her. Please notice that I'm not saying that she's at fault, but I am saying that Juliet's relationship with being in life-long captivity is never really explored.
On a narrative level, it actually makes sense that she cannot leave the island because she has formed a morbid Stockholm syndrome-type of bond with it. This is interesting. This is character with nuances and a complex, rich and controversial interiority. I mean, before getting abducted, Juliet was still working under her own ex-husband, ffs! She still has his surname! This was a huge part of her character back in season 3! There is so much talk about Jack as "Man of Science" but what about Juliet as "Woman of Science"? She first-hand knows what it means to live and work in an enviroment that doesn't respect her, that actually debases her. I mean, this was the reason she LEFT and followed Richard!!! Because she's an extremely intelligent woman who was taken for granted and whose labor was EXPLOITED by her ex-husband! But she was also the woman who did experiments on the sly! She knows how to play the game! It doesn't mean the game is fair because it's not, the game is very much rigged, but it does mean that there's so much more to Juliet "playing house" than her love for a man. Performance for Juliet is also a weapon. Just like the TVs are. In this light, Juliet using the TV in S3 to reveal her "real" self and tell Jack about her plan to murder Ben is sooooo much more delicious, isn't it?
#juliet as “woman of science”#i'd say that kate is the “woman of authority” but i'll have to think about it#i'll be yapping about this topic for quite some time fyi#juliet burke#kate austen#lost season 5#he's our you#lost#lost abc#lost 2004#abc lost#lost tv series#lost 2024#my lost meta

I hope Cheif Taneda wakes up soon because I’ve got some questions for this man.
What the hell were you doing wandering about in an incident like this alone? And how did Sigma of all people heh the drop on you?
Like yeahh Sigmas no slouch but you’re the head of the Special Abilities division. You of all people can’t be taken down so easily like this.
How did you know about the book? How did you guys find the book and acquire a page? What was your plan with the page?
Why do you keep sending spies into the Port Mafia? And why Ango of all people, dude was “a lonely intern” back then.
Why send him? Do you know about the tripartite framework? Did you know about Shibusawa and what he was doing?
Are you in any way connected to the Hunting Dogs programme? Do you know Natsume? Why did you tell Dazai to join the Agency?
I need him to be more of a character because there’s so many questions I’ve got.

STWG daily prompt 3/10/23
prompt: rehab
pairing/character(s): steddie
-
Steve walks toward his two o'clock appointment with a slightly curious expression on his face. It's a new patient, which already usually has him quite curious and slightly nervous, but this particular new patient is one who could afford to pay the clinic to keep the physical therapy room empty for his session.
And Steve had been required to sign an NDA before being allowed to pick up the patient. Which had honestly offended him. The NDA just went over not telling the press any details about his client, which, hello? HIPAA? But he's also confused about why his patient would need him to sign an NDA like this. The name Eddie Munson doesn't ring any bells for him.
So, yes. He's very curious.
Before opening the door, he puts the effort into making his expression friendlier and more open, and straightens his back before pushing the door open. There, sat on one of the cushioned benches, is a very attractive man. One that he still doesn't recognise? Even though he must be famous? Or something?
He's got long, wavy hair, with a fringe hanging down in his face a bit- just enough to slightly cover his grumpy eyes and add to his generally unhappy expression. The t-shirt he's wearing looks artfully ripped to reveal tattoos underneath across his ribcage and stomach, and it contrasts the grey sweatpants he's wearing. Steve remembers that a knee injury is why Eddie's here in the first place, and figures that's what's causing the slightly odd outfit. He spies a pair of crutches leaning against the bench Eddie's sat on, and then his eyes trail over a little further to see a woman stood beside them.
Her expression is a lot more serious than Eddie's, and she's wearing an outfit that can only be described as business casual. Her blonde hair is up in a perfect ponytail, and once Steve's closed the door behind him she gives him a pinched smile. When Steve expects Eddie to introduce himself, the woman speaks instead.
"Hi there, you must be Steve. I'm Chrissy, Eddie's manager. He did not want to come today, so I'm just here to make sure he's behaving."
Steve raises an eyebrow at her words, and her speech seems to finally prompt Eddie to stop glaring daggers into the floor and look up at his new physical therapist.
But when Eddie's eyes snap up to Steve's, the glare leaves them immediately as his eyes widen a little. Steve's very confused by that, even more so when the wide eyed look transforms into a pout.
"Hi Eddie, I'm Steve." He greets with a lopsided smile, hoping that would make Eddie drop whatever his face is doing right now. But instead Eddie literally lets out a huff and his pout intensifies.
"Dammit. Why do you have to be hot? Chrissy dragged me to this stupid rehab centre and I don't want to be here because I'm supposed to be on tour, so I was supposed to be broody and moody all session to defy Chris's demands. But here you are. Real prince charming with a nice smile and hot voice to match." Eddie complains, and Steve opens and closes his mouth a few times at that.
Eventually, he takes a deep breath and tilts his head, eyes slightly squinted.
"I'm.. Sorry? About that?" He tries, and Eddie laughs a little.
"Can I get a different therapist for this? Preferably an uglier one?" Eddie tries, and that actually shocks a laugh out of Steve as Chrissy (somewhat violently) shoves his shoulder and hisses out his name.
"Unfortunately you're stuck with me. And I can't date patients." Steve says bluntly, and Eddie's pout is back.
"But," He starts, and quirks a smile at how Eddie's back straightens at his words, "You're very pretty. So how about you actually try at what I have planned for you, and when you're done with the outpatient programme, I can take you out for dinner?"
Chrissy sighs next to Eddie at the words (looking quite done with the entire situation and the fact that she has to be there), but Eddie's eyes have glazed over into something determined, and he nods once.
"Eight weeks is a long time, but you're like Adonis level hot. That works for me. Show me what you got, Stevie."
Steve finds himself quite excited to find more out about Eddie. The next eight weeks will fly by, and hopefully after that... They can see how it goes.

Akira Kibo and Kaori Nishidake
So based on the recent segment of my story the S.I.M.S. spies. I did mention their relationship being professional to some extent. They were childhood buds. Their parents were literal best friends, and Akira liked the idea of being Kaori's protector. He loved her like a little sister. When Kaori's parents had passed away, Akira's family took her in until she was sent of to Mt. Komorebi. They had kept in touch for a while, but with Akira off to college, they barely kept in touch. It wasn't until Kaori came to San Myshuno, where she first started as an agency clerk at S.I.M.S that she was reunited with Akira, since learning about his job as an Independent Consultant at Rainy Days Ent. She knew she could take advantage of his skills as a programmer.

A journalist targeted by a Russian spy ring said it had a list of "assassination methods" to kill him that was "beyond any imagination".
Christo Grozev told the BBC the group "fantasised" about his death, and talked about using a sledgehammer and even a "suicide bomber" to target him.
The Bulgarian, who has published several exposés on Russia with colleague Roman Dobrokhotov, said several incidents showed the pair were tracked across Europe and had agents "breathing down our necks".
He was speaking after three Bulgarian nationals were found guilty last week of spying for Russia one of the largest foreign intelligence operations in the UK.
Mr Grozev said that since the court case, Austrian police had reassured his children that this not could not happen again, adding that initially his family had been "shocked".
Speaking to BBC Radio 4's Broadcasting House programme, he said the "list of imagined assassination methods" on his life "reads like a film noir".
He said one of the ways the spies "fantasised about killing me" was hiring an Islamic State group "suicide bomber and having him explode himself next to me in the street".
Mr Grozev said there was also a plan to kidnap him and "send me to a torture camp in Syria" while another man wearing a latex mask resembling him would fly to Russia on a commercial flight and be "arrested in front of cameras for full deniability".
"Another way was bludgeoning me to death using a sledgehammer", he said before adding that "the fantasy and imagination of these wannabe spies is beyond any imagination".
Mr Grozev said failures of Russian intelligence in the past meant that spying was being "outsourced" to non-professional spies.
He told the BBC that the fact they were using "non-professional" spies did not take away from the "intent to kill". The issue was that "wannabe spies" did not necessarily know how to de-escalate situations, he added.
He said he felt lucky to be alive given that he and his colleague were tracked by the spies for so long and the operation had been so well-funded. He and Mr Dobrokhotov were never on the lookout for EU citizens spying on them, but they had expected that Russian operatives would be observing them, he added.
The pair's work includes exposing Russia's role in the nerve agent attacks on then-Russian opposition leader Alexei Navalny in 2020 and Sergei Skripal in Salisbury in 2018.
Jan Marsalek, who instructed the spy ring on behalf of the Russian intelligence services, wrote in a message in December 2020 that Mr Grozev was the "lead investigator in the Navalny case".
A message sent by Marsalek to Orlin Roussev - who ran the UK-based group from a former guest house in Norfolk - said: "Personally I find Grozev not to be a very valuable target but apparently Putin seriously hates him."
After 2020, the spy cell followed the two journalists throughout Europe, spying on them on planes, in hotels and private properties.
On Friday, three spies were found guilty of spying for Russia in one of the largest" foreign intelligence operations in the UK.
In court, it came to light that operatives from the spy ring entered Grozev's flat in Vienna in 2022 "when my son was playing a computer game in his room", the journalist said.
He added: "I just don't want to think about what would've happened if my son decided to go out of his room during their burglary."
On Friday, Vanya Gaberova, 30, Katrin Ivanova, 33, and Tihomir Ivanchev, 39, were found guilty of conspiracy to spy. While the trio had day jobs as a beautician, a healthcare worker, and a decorator, the cell they were part of plotted to kidnap and kill targets, as well as planned to ensnare them in so-called honeytraps.
The methods they used were the sort of thing you would "expect to see in a spy novel", said the Metropolitan Police's Cdr Dominic Murphy.

New unclassified documents show Spain's espionage against Catalan independentists and how Spain's government, police and media worked together to publish fake information to attack Catalan independentists for years
For the last two months, there situation with the political espionage against Catalans, false accusations of all kinds of things against pro-independence politicians and activists, as well as right-wing demonstrations with Spanish supremacist hate speech, Spanish right-wing (though not only) politicians saying once again that Catalans are terrorist to gain votes, etc. have been escalating once again.
I had not made any post about all of that because I am simply too tired of the same thing happening over and over again and the same discussions happening all the time. This blog would be boringly repetitive if I commented on all the cases of diffamations, fear-mongering about inexistent supposed Catalan terrorists, the negotiations for a fake amnesty written so that they can keep as many people in jail as possible, and every new attack against Catalan people's right to use the Catalan language in the Catalan-speaking territories. It's the same old same old that doesn't stop happening in Spain. But I will give an update about what has been proven lately (and which had been known for a long time, but now can't be denied).
It has been known for a long time that the Spanish military intelligence service (CNI), with permission from the Spanish Supreme Court, has been using the Israeli espionage programme Pegasus to illegally spy on dozens of Catalan pro-independence journalists, activists, lawyers, politicians, and their relatives and friends for years. This goes against the human rights of the people who had their personal communications spied on and also against all the independence movement, because nobody is safe and everyone is susceptible of being spied on only for their political ideas.
Now, some of the official documents of the CNI have been declassified, so we know for sure that this espionage was happening, but other documents have not yet been declassified. Catalan politicians are asking the CNI to release the rest of these documents. The answer has been that they will not declassify them because it would "generate a risk and a grave threat for the life and integrity of the sources and collaborators of the CNI". Taking into account how in the last few years there has been many cases of infiltrated Spanish police in the Catalan social movements, including police who were infiltrated and entering long-term romantic relationships with Catalan activists (mostly Catalan women but some men too) and having sexual relations with others while lying to them about their identity, this statement can be understood to accept that there are many more people infiltrated in the movement.
But what have we seen in the documents that were released? That, as expected, the Spanish Government and Police between 2012 and 2016 used fake proof as excuses to spy on Catalans and tarnish their reputation on the press. As it has been released, the Spanish police compiled fake events with made-up proofs about Catalan independentist politicians, then they sent these fake news to the Minister of Interior of the Spanish Government, Jorge Fernández Díaz, who sent them to the Spanish media to be published as manufactured scandals on the front pages. This way, the Spanish media has spent years publishing fake information with the purpose of attacking the reputation and spreading fake ideas about Catalan independentists, including accusing many innocents of corruption, tax evasion, and personal family problems. All of these false accusations were widely talked about in Spanish media and became huge scandals, but when they were proven to be fake, the same media that published it would not include the news that these people had been declared innocents. Other ministers of the Spanish government like María Dolores de Cospedal and the president of Spain Mariano Rajoy were aware of it, and other ministries contributed to sending cherry-picked or false information to the Ministry of Interior for this scheme. All of this, of course, was paid for with public money coming from our taxes.
Nobody is surprised. This is just another day in Spain. The current Spanish Government has continued the espionage with Pegasus.

[ REGULATIONS LOADING .... ]
[ x ] hi! i'm christa! welcome to my humble star wars multimuse blog. it's a mix of canon and oc characters. this blog is low + sporadic activity because my work schedule is wild. english is not my first language. please be patient.
[ writing + following ]
[ x ] most of the muses on my blogs are villains so please remember mun =/= muse. i don't agree with their personal or political beliefs. a lot of my muses are shitty people. and so is the first order. i'm just writing them as antagonists to the plot.
[ x ] i only write threads if we are both following each other. anyone can send asks but please be respectful. i only write with people 20 or over.
[ x ] don't godmod or meta game. general rp etiquette is expected. i used small texts, formatting and icons. but you can do whatever. i don't care. i like plots and winging it. i'm good with both.
[ x ] standard DNI applies. don't be creepy. don't force threads or rush for replies. if you're a trump supporter, xenophobic, ableist, homophobic, transphobic, a zionist or show gross behavior in general i will block on sight. i don't rp an taboo topics and will block for that stuff.
[ x ] no drama please. i don't care what people ship or what they are into. curate your own space and will do that to mine. there is no reason to police blogs when the block button exists.
[ triggers + content ]
[ x ] star wars is a story about war so there will be violence, injury, death present in my threads, including other dark themes. please be aware and keep yourself safe. all standard triggers will be tagged.
[ x ] nsfw or sexual content will be tagged. i don't have any triggers. if you have a trigger that i did not tag you can ask me and i'll try to accommodate.
[ x ] some of my villains are irredeemably cruel but others are more gray.this blog explores the idea that not all soldiers are bad people and that not everyone on the wrong side of a war is a complete villain. If you do not approve of this then please do not follow.
[ ships + dynamics ]
[ x ] i love ships! enemies, lovers, found family, whatever! __i only ship with chemistry so please don't force ships on me.__ or assume ships. especially for family ships. but if you're feeling something just ask.
[ x ] fyi most of my muses are pretty toxic so ships with then won't be the healthiest. be prepared for that.
[ x ] phasma is canonically ace. i write her as asexual and aromatic. ships with her are rare and need lots of development. when she does have a relationship she prefers women.
[ x ] affiliates are muses who have lore mixed with mine. ==mains== are people i have deep plots with. i don't do calls. if we plot a lot i will ask you to be mine or you can ask me.
[ about my lore + muses ]
[ x ] a lot of my lore for mitaka was built with acharnemcnt. their hux and my mitaka's backgrounds are connected so they are my exclusive hux for now.
[ x ] tanyn ren's lore is mixed with the other knights in my affiliates. you don't have to follow all of us to write with tanyn but his background is based off of group lore and not the movies.
[ x ] my lore for my muses is inspired from the books and some of the comics and built from headcanons. some parts are very divergent from the movies

OK, stick with me here. I bet you’re looking at The Hawaiian Computer Mystery (1985) and thinking, “well, that looks like a crummy pick-your-path book.” And you aren’t wrong! But you’re also not correct, either.
First off, the whole Making Choices series is built around teaching Christian lessons through their narratives, with characters who tend to exclaim things like “Lord Jesus, save me!” Even setting that to one side, this book has a deep commitment to aw-shucks corniness that I find hard to bear. What is sort of mystifying about the book, though, is that, Tardis-like, it seems to have an improbable number of storylines packed into its 150 pages.
Core concept: you won a videogame design contest and your prize is a trip to Hawaii and, maybe, a contract with the competition-organizing company. As soon as you arrive, however, a number of seemingly disparate mysteries try to intrude on your vacation. There’s a volcano and monsters in the volcano and spies and rival programmers and a haunted house and a giant bird and an angry whale and just a constant succession of new branches in the story. Amusingly, you can avoid all of them and focus on learning to surf at the beach in a sequence that is long enough to actually feel like a genuine ending rather than a time wasting gag. The substance of all of these various stories is questionable, but their construction is super interesting. I can’t think of an American gamebook with such a quirky and complex structure. Shame your character spends so much time praying, though.
