That's likely a scam

They blocked me when I asked if they were verified

It's the same text as known scammer @/zaynabu

Here's the exact difference between the asks: different name, a space removed, and a simple change of words

They also mention a GFM in their tags, but no PayPal (as usual for scammers)

Heads Up on an Art Commission Scam!

I'm getting a bunch of scammers in my IMs trying to pull the fake cheque scam on me by commissioning me. Red flags are:

An account that's new or has no identity 🚩

They talk to you as though they're following a script (eg. I say that I'm closed for commissions, but they continue anyway) 🚩

Asks you to draw something you don't normally draw (eg. their pet dog for their son's birthday) 🚩

Offers to pay you in a cheque for way more than you charge (usually hundreds of dollars more) 🚩

The idea is that you deposit the cheque, and then they ask you to send some of it back to them or to another person. The cheque is fake, and it will bounce days to weeks later. If you send any money back, that money will be gone from your account, plus the full amount from the fake cheque once it bounces. At that point, the scammer has just succeeded in getting real money from you, and will disappear to find a new victim.

As a rule of thumb, I don't take cheques as payment for art commissions.

They're bullshit making money off people's suffering. If you're going to give money to people like that, you might as well just eat pizza🍕

If you want to help the people in Gaza who are really in trouble, there must be more reliable and trustworthy support organizations. Its important, so I'll say it again, DO NOT BELIEVE THEM.

So let's get down to it, first off I'm going to have to get the stuff out the way I do not have any evidence of, as the conversations happened on Snapchat and her profile got deleted. So it's completely up to you if you choose to believe me or not.

I first got in contact with the aforementioned person in October of last year a few weeks before I flew to Morocco. She had made a post about needing money for bills, which wasn't much (tbh I was at an extremely low point mentally at this time, which didn't help my lack of logical thinking at that moment) so I'd decided to help out and threw some extra in for food and she'd give me access to her premium (which she very quickly stopped using). This was sent to a PayPal account which she then told me she couldn't access after I paid her (classic PayPal scam, my dumbass didn't clock it, or I felt like gambling that day, fuck knows).

She had claimed that the reason it got frozen was because 'she was getting too much money' and sent me a bank account to send the money to and 'promised' she would send it me back at a later date when her PayPal 'unfroze'. After that she would keep asking for more money on snap and promising videos in return without delivering anything, slowly increasing the amount of content she was supposed to be sending back.

I understand that this is where I should have stopped, which is why I don't expect anyone to feel bad for me. Once she even started posting about a date she'd been on and told me that she used the money I sent her for it, which was money I'd sent for a stuffing. This eventually reached a point where she threatened to block me if I didn't send her more money, after I questioned her authenticity after she didn't send me anything we'd agreed on.

At this point I had sent her £400+ (£240 of which she had insisted she would send me back, I made her very aware that was the only reason I was sending it) and all she had sent me were 2 videos which she sells on Curvage for ~£5, which was not what we agreed on. I vaguely remember discussing customs but I've slept since then so I'm not going to put too much emphasis on that, I think the wall of text says enough lol. Next up, the DM's.

Going to add a few notes based on the image number...

1. Initial message after 2 months of no contact, notice she does not deny anything.

3. Agreement to send me money back, details exchanged. I failed to mention earlier before she threatened to block me, she insisted she had noted down my details so she could still pay me back after the 180 days period.

4. Strange request to find out where I was from, which set off immediate warning signs in my head. As I'd just sent her my full name again, I was expecting she was attempting to find out my details to light-dox me. Note I've censored any sensitive information for both parties.

5. Me initially saying she can keep the money which was apparently still in her frozen PayPal account and just send me the money she had agreed to repay I sent over transfer. Then a further month of no contact and no money being sent.

7. Probably the most interesting one, she had started getting very aggravated with me at this point and claiming I'm trying to blackmail her and extort her, trying to play victim. The 'try me' comment was after I'd said she'd already attempted to extort me and I had proof (which was a white lie as I don't have the screenshots of that conversation) by threatening to block me unless I paid her more after I'd said she was extorting me. Bearing in mind I had being trying to sort this out with her without making any further accusations for several months at this point, going round in circles. Claiming I'm 'refusing' her suggestions despite her never actually committing to anything, you can see I'd attempted to discuss content again with her in image 2. Contradicting herself claiming she is educated and only doing this as a 'side hustle' then literally the message after saying she is unemployed and on benefits, so which is it? Agreeing to pay someone back money which you know you aren't going to have is fraud, no question. I think anyone can see this case is absolutely warranted.

8. Last one, me reminding her that her PayPal period was up in a few days after that message. That Tuesday came round and no attempt was made to get in touch or send the money, the only thing I got sent was another picture of a 'blackmail' article.

So, that's it. I'm wiping my hands with this situation, I'm not expecting any sympathy or financial support (I don't need it) and it wasn't why I was posting this, it needed to be made public to warn people what slimy people we have in our depths, on proper platforms. If the issue really was that she couldn't afford it, why didn't you say that 4 months ago? Or more? Furthermore if anyone thinks less of me for posting this, I couldn't care less. This is the last bit of baggage I'm going to be putting out from last year, hoping to leave it behind me and move on. No more cryptic posts, but still not sure if to start posting normally again, but I have being trying to gain again...

Sorry to say, but this doesn't come off as shocking in the slightest to me.

It's already been confirmed she's lying about homelessness, by multiple people she spoke to about going swimming at the beach constantly, and being in fancy hotels she and her family would toss money into frequently. As for the trip to her current boyfriend, it's unknown if she actually HAS gotten the tickets for that trip already or not, but I sincerely would doubt it. Majora seems to prioritize her own immediate needs and pleasures above anyone else's, whether it be in terms of monetary items or indulging in certain adult topics around others without any care for comfort or age. This takes shape in buying herself commissions and games when she SHOULD be saving money for things that are ACTUALLY important, like the disabled raccoon she is blatantly abusing by feeding junk [self admitted by her in a post saying she feeds it lucky charms and donuts, plus the pictures of it eating cereal] , her alleged college classes, and the trip out to her partner.

Scammers will say they are attracted to you and that they can perform X, Y, Z Readings, and can do A, B, C Spells/Rituals/Curses/Hexes/etc and usually use names such as Priestess, Prince, Princess, Priest, King, Voodoo Priestess, etc etc etc

Myself as a Pagan, a Grey Eclectic Witch, an actual (real) High Priestess appointed by a Council/Coven, and someone who's been practicing for over 15 years, who also happens to be Techy - I can tell you that while a lot of Spells, Rituals, Curses and of course Divination, so therefore Readings and such are very REAL - the people who are scamming people by saying they can perform these Spells, Rituals or Readings are NOT real Witches, Pagans, Druids, Shamans, Heathens, Psychics, Mediums, High Priest/Priestesses or anything else of any sort

THEY ARE NOTHING BUT SCAMMERS.

They try to get people to pay for their readings and spells and such when they're not doing anything at all, they're just taking your money because they're scammers pretending to be people they are NOT.

Scammers will also threaten to do curses and things to you if you don't pay them money.

They will target you and everyone in your circle (friends, family, etc) whatever information you have on your profile they will use it for their own gain and own benefit.

They're not here to be your friends.

They're here to SCAM you.
