Dp x dc idea 3
In this phantom planet happened but they did not thank him they turned on him Dc and dp are in different dimension in this.
His parents managed to convince world leaders that phantom killed there boy and was just using Danny body. The world only agreed because they were terrified of his powers.
Jazz tried to convince them, they were wrong and he is Danny. Sam and tucker are trying to protect Danny and elli. I’d imagine all of Casper high backing Danny the a list did protect him when the whole gauntlet of reality happened.
When all is said and done the world took no prisoners. Danny, Ellie and vlad (he’s still hiding in space) are the worlds most wanted. Dani and Ellie were severely injured and hardly able to get away.
They wake up with frostbite and clockwork over them. The world is no longer safe but they can’t remain in the infinite realms they are half human. The obvious solution send them to a different dimension.
They were sent to dc and end up in Gotham. All they had was a thermos, Ellie took a lipstick laser gun, and some medical supplies from frostbite. Danny is pissed off and hurt he doesn’t want to hurt anyone but he only wants to protect his sister.
Danny was willing to steal enough money to get a shabby hotel room for a month or so to figure things out. He got to fake identity’s and a job at bat burger he may not like anyone but he doesn’t want to have to steal more then he has to.
Elli the little menace that she is still wants to help people. It’s her personal mission to annoy red hood until he puts up with her what’s he gonna do shoot a kid. She wants to avoid Batman both Danny and Ellie think he is a demon with bat powers. Danny cant stop Ellie so he just mother hens her. He would be ready for when they turned on them this time.
Red hood is just freaking out there is a child meta no older then 10 in Gotham just following him and beating up people. He’s not Bruce he doesn’t want to deal with this. Following this child calling herself spirit was harder to then he’d admit. She went from white hair to prime adoption bait and great she has an older brother no older then 15. How was he gonna keep the two pieces of adoption bait away from bruce and why did he feel calmer around them.
Besides worrying about Ellie Danny was doing just fine ignoring his problems. Working at bat burger was fine definitely not reminding him about the nasty burger explosion that lead to him abandoning humanity. There was a regular who would just stare at him like he was glowing.
Duke was freaking out.
By the time Jason got forced into a mandatory dinner the two adoption bait were there. He did get a warning from cass not to ask Danny about his past he was greatly hurt by whatever it is. Ellie immediately knew he was red hood the minute he walked in. He was definitely getting a lecture about not reporting meta children.
As time goes on Ellie gets more open and talks about her dimension, how it turned on them and talk about her hero phantom. She was just his clone how he saved her and she met Danny because of him . How he saved everyone in a town that hated him. How he saved the world and they turned on them. They were horrified but Bruce got two new kids and finally had one who wasn’t a vigilante who liked galas.
During a bad fight against a massive invasion were everyone was down. Danny was just watching from the bat cave as Ellie and his new family went down. Alfred just looks at him and hands him a mask asking if he was going to go help.
Danny does and takes names. He downs the threat in less then two minutes just grabs Ellie and Damian they were the most injured looked at Batman and said he was taking them. Then he starts to mother hen them at the batcave.
The league and Batman were now freaking out.

Counter point they both become batman. Martha Wayne is the white bat/ albino bat. She mostly protective women/assault victims especially who are assaulted and raped(think like law and order special victims unit) , and bruce batman. Just picture Martha way this beautiful classy women with gray in her hair as albino bat kicking people's ass.
Perfectly balanced; as all things shall be
PS, Ra's tries to get with Martha oop-

Confessing their feelings, knife against the throat, enemies to lovers, forced proximity?
OO THE DRAMA. i've been in the mood to write more f/f fic so ur getting some kali/nancy 💜
**
"I thought I told you to leave this alone," Kali hisses through gritted teeth. The reprimand is a warm tingle against Nancy's cheek, and she barely represses a shiver.
It's harder than it should be to focus on the cold steel resting against her collarbone instead. She can't see it in the dark, but she knows it's the hunting knife Kali carries with her everywhere. Four inches of Damascus honed to an edge she's seen bloodied one too many times. She can feel her pulse against it, a touch too fast for all the wrong reasons.
"And I thought you knew me better than that," Nancy snaps. Her palms are sweating. She hasn't felt this unsure about her grip in years, but she pushes the doubts aside and presses the muzzle of her revolver more firmly against Kali's side.
"Well enough not to fear you'll pull the trigger."
Nancy jolts. Her face flushes hot, and she's suddenly grateful for the darkness.
"I know you only want answers, Nancy, not more bloodshed."
Oh. Yeah, that. That reason.
The both stiffen as heavy booted footsteps thunder past, echoing in the tiled hallway. Unintelligible voices shout over each other. Nancy holds her breath and prays not to hear the door creak.
She's distinctly aware of Kali's bare fingertips branding the side of her neck, loosely holding her in place. How easy it would be for those fingers to slide up into her hair, or cup her cheek, tug her closer and...
Her hand shifts, thumb brushing the tense line of Nancy's jaw, and Nancy's heart stops. The knife still at her throat slips, catching the collar of her shirt.
The ruckus outside has quieted, moved further into the building, away from their cramped little supply cupboard, but neither of them relax.
"I want—" Nancy's voice catches in her dry throat. Their proximity is making her lightheaded. Her hands smell like lavender and her hair like smoke, her coat is old and unwashed, sweat and musk and years of dirt ground into the seams. There's something sharp and earthy about the combination, something she wants to chase with her tongue and wants to fall asleep wrapped up in. "To help," she finishes lamely.
"Is that all?" There's a teasing lilt there that's both annoying and endearing.
"No." It falls from her lips too easily, too matter-of-factly.
"Oh." After all Kali's confidence, her self-assuredness, the last response Nancy expected was a tiny, surprised sound. The noise burrows itself somewhere soft in Nancy's ribcage.
Her free hand moves of its own volition, reaching blindly until she finds Kali's cheek just as flushed as hers.

also this show (i think it's a tv show, imdb is saying it's a tv show) has the potential to be either very good or very bad purely based on time period because, well, they've made harley asian-american, jim gordon is black, bruce wayne is a jewish man, and depending how far they get into his life, he has a romani son and a daughter of east asian descent, all of which are identities that come with a lot of baggage in the 1940s in a way they don't in honestly any other time period and idk if i entirely trust bruce timm to handle that

okay so who was gonna tell me that navia shows up in neuvillette's sq to personally involve herself in his investigation and then coerce the accomplices of the main culprit to make themselves known to him in broad daylight so that he could question them. iconic behaviour and further proof that navia is fully aware of and sanctions some of the seedier behaviour within the spina considering she was that efficient with her investigation in the fleuve cendre

thinking about my ocs lads
#cw for mentions of child abuse and neglect in the tags#i wanna revamp my ducktales/disney ducks ocs#because i miss them :(#im trying to rewrite their backstories and maybe make human versions of them? i don’t want to scrub away the ducks entirely lmao#so far ive fixed up a new story for vera 😎#she’s the illegitimate child of a professional thief who mostly steals jewelry and precious gems#and a morally kind of screwed and ruthless businessman in some kind of jewelry-related industry#who also has done some vigilante justice that lead to him meeting the thief. and then they fell in love#they’re not very good for eachother lol#and neither of them would be good parents#her mom tries to keep her away from her dad and succeeds for like 12 years by telling vera that she was. conceived without much consent#which is fucked up to say to a kid and it doesn’t get much better from there#vera’s mom is a dangerous unscrupulous person who should not have a kid#she drinks often and vera is scared of her but also very angry.#(to be fair she doesn’t really do it intentionally. vera’s mom is fairly mentally ill due to her own upbringing. it’s not really malicious)#vera feels like a burden to everyone bc of how her mom treated her :(#and her father is less unstable but he’s too emotionally distant and focused on his work that if vera was with him#she would end up being almost as neglected as with her mom#vera is very tragic and sad. she’s just a kid#im trying to rewrite what i had of her main plot where she meets her dad and extended family#it’s kinda fun to retool it into something original 😎#i wanna do the same for rosalie next because I Miss Her#cute lesbian seamstress……..#anyway this was oc time.#vera cassandra#rosalie henderson#my ocs

Conversation
Karen: Jesus, [Fisk] almost sounds like he means it.
Matt: I think he does.
Karen: And he's calling the man in the mask a psycho?
Karen: I hope they trace what happened with Elena right to his doorstep.
Matt: He'd never expose himself like that. Plus, half the force is probably in his pocket.
Karen: Well, then let's pray the Mask gets his hands on him, knocks his goddamn head off!

Concept: Reverse-Reverse magical girl anime where perhaps a sort of p5 phantom thief magical girl with relatively regular magic that works for all ages moves to a new school as the exchange student and finds that this city's magical underbelly has no fixed society (ie, no hogwarts, no place where people who are all magical live) and operates under a system where youth with particularly strong internal delusional/ungrounded perspectives are secretly taught to harness that power in a magical girl(/boy) system to protect the town.
They bend reality to their own viewpoint to give them powers, but it also near-inevitably causes them to be more and more warped by their perspectives and become more extreme, reducing their ability to perceive social cues, progressing to less ability to understand the normal nonmagical world, and possibly causing their perception of reality to start seeping into reality subconsciously.
The main character, who just straight up has regular magic and comes from her own underground magic subsociety where regular magic without weird drawbacks is normal, has to navigate this unfamiliar terrain, carefully and slowly learning both the local culture and the strange magical girl system in place here, and ultimately trying to divorce the good that people want to do from the corrupt magic system in place.
The basic idea would be that most significant rejections of reality are rooted in a desire for change, in the most raw form, without necessarily a target to change to or even what they they want to change, and that is what is harnessed to actually alter the world and what drives them to use their powers to defeat monsters. So the series would gradually be addressing multiple characters' conflicts at a time. How their transformation and vigilantism both comes from their ideals or issues, and how the act is in some way leading them towards their goals, offering an escape from normal reality, feels gratifying, feels like an obligation, etc.
While the main character would probably be from an older, more generic tradition where magic is about manipulating some fundamental element of the world (like ambient mana), or using the language of creation (spellwords, runes, circles), or a more simple version of externalizing the internal (mana innate to living things) etc. There might be a recurring issue where the main character has to follow traditional rules of keeping magic a secret while magical girl-magic is strongly glamored and people can't remember the person or situation they saw.
Overall, a mix of explorative worldbuilding of this urban fantasy world, action combat, school life, character exploration and cast building as she unpacks the various ideals and traumas that people can't let go of when she can, or when its above her depth, at least tries to get them to loosen the reins enough to teach them magic or quit using their magic at least, possibly forming staunch antagonists instead (possibly deeply tragic ones).
Over time the wider plot expands to exploring how this magic system became the default here, and systems or entities that perpetuate it and have lead to such a density of people whose grasp on reality is weak or tainted in ubiquitous, anime-esque ways.
Major inspiration points for me to think about this: P5 Mind Palacing and the various aesthetics and moral issues with exploring and unlocking people's hearts.
Quirky/ubiquitous Anime character tropes that rely on strong central ideals or ignoring reality, with obvious examples being Shirou Emiya's desire to be a Hero of Justice, or Arthur from Fire Force, but also I think a lot of eccentric anime characters fit this bill enough to take inspiration from.
Also my general desire to think of ways to make dark and edgy takes on things inspiring and wholesome again, if still acknowledging problems. While the most famous magical girl deconstruction already kind of does that, in general i have a perspective of, 'if the point of deconstructing is to remove the magic from something and ground it, how do I put it back in in an interesting way?'
There's also a certain magical girl show that I've never seen but I read the synopsis of years ago and it completely randomly popped into my head earlier today which apparently starts off as a pretty normal episodic show for, like, entire seasons, before suddenly transitioning to trying to confront the larger systematic issues that her local acts of good don't ultimately help but she can't do it in the end? Which is a fascinating sounding trajectory and just put magical girl shows in my head today.
And when the beginning of this thought happened, I immediately thought of the vocaloid album, Diary of the underaged observer, which is about a student who just observes all the exceedingly eccentric students around and writes it down. I think that album is a great fun encapsulation of youthful coping mechanisms, obsessions, and processing of emotions fleshed out into fantastical anime-esque allegory. So basically every single song on it could be the basis of a person in this setting pretty easily.
