When the human government wished to initiate trade with the Filthrax Conglomerate the Filthrax were understandably cautious. They had always been sensitive when it came to sharing technology with other species. To that end they had an extensive amount of restrictions on what could and couldn’t be traded; excluding much of their more advanced technology from ever reaching the market.

The humans in comparison were technologically inferior to the Filthrax in nearly every aspect so they pictured the humans to heavily lobby for advanced technology to be made available. So it was with some surprise that when negotiations began the humans did not lobby for advanced technology, they instead seemed deeply invested in obtaining the Filthrax toys.

This was not something the negotiators had expected. Research into human culture had showed a deep rooted sense of aggression, towards outsiders and themselves when promoted, which made them believe that the first opening bid would be towards military grade technology.

Sensing the discord, the human diplomats explained that while they would like more advanced technology to be an option, they understood the hesitance and reluctance to trade such dangerous items. They said they would be fine earning the Filthrax’s trust over an extended period of time through trade. It seemed that several human enterprises had their eyes on Filthrax toys and they seemed like a safe enough items to begin trade. The Filthrax agreed and so trade lines were opened between the great powers.

What the aliens saw as a harmless deal was in fact the first foot in the door that could never be closed.

Several million orders for toys were placed almost overnight and the economic boon was felt overnight throughout the Filthrax Conglomerate. None of them understood the fascination humans had with their trinkets but if they were willing to pay then they would be more than happy to sell. It wasn’t until the Nexus Wars began that the Filthrax would come to understand their folly.

The “Nexus” was a series of star systems that held the majority of trade lanes between the core worlds and the far flung resource rich outer zones. Trade through these lanes was deemed to be the most stable for long distance transportation so whoever controlled these regions would make considerable wealth from their stewardship.

Current stewardship fell to the Omicron Empire who had held the systems for the last several hundred years and as such used the profits it generated to fund their empires expansion. The humans wished to control these routes to fund their own imperial ambitions but had never leveled the playing field with the Omicron military to make such a transgression possible.

Then, without warning, the human military launched a series of strikes against Omicron bases and fleets in the Nexus systems triggering the “Nexus War”. The Omicrons raised their fleets and armies and dispatched them to the systems with the full intention of repelling the humans and then carrying on their counter offensive into human space. What they met however was a suddenly technologically advanced human military spouting drastic advances in military equipment not seen.

Human soldiers now carried portable shielding units that blocked everything less than a direct hit from a hover tank, while their ships launched fusion bombs carrying a heavy enough payload to shatter Timbar class battleships in half.

With this new technology, the human military had taken control of half of the Nexus systems within five months of the wars start. Other powers dotting the stars took notice of the sudden prowess of the human military, as well as the calculations predicting that within another five months the Omicron Empire would be driven from the Nexus systems. Some cheered at seeing their old rivals in the Omicron’s brought low, others sent delegations to the human government pledging alliances and treaties, many more came to join the war effort now sensing blood amongst the stars; but to the Filthrax, they quickly came to realize the part they had played in this war.

While Filthrax toys were rather unremarkable, they were unique in the way that their power sources could last an entire lifetime. Through controlled energy distribution, the Filthrax had created a rudimentary power source that, while considered basic in their society, was light years ahead of any neighboring species.

The humans were well aware of this feature.

They knew before negotiations even began that the Filthrax would never part with their advanced weaponry or technology, but they would be willing to part with something they considered nothing more than a toy. Toys that were then torn apart to get to the power source, reverse engineered, and then used to power weapons and machines of human design.

Filthrax toys were now forming the basis for a new galactic power, and they had been fooled into giving them away for nothing more than currency.

The sudden realization sent shockwaves through the upper echelons of the Filthrax. If they admitted this they would be not only be publically humiliated on a galactic scale; but also be portrayed as cobelligerents in the war. Not only that, it would invalidate their own standing treaties with other species which specifically stated they would not trade anything that could be repurposed for war. They could see trade agreements torn asunder for a dozen species with even embargos placed upon their territories. Worse yet was if they did cease trading with the humans the human government could release the information and still black list them to the wider galaxy.

So they sat and watched the war from the sidelines, contemplating that their bobbles may have very well just doomed the universe.

I assume you ship nashxeuonia.. if so, do you have any headcanons for them???

i do like eunash yes, though i dont have a lot of specific headcanons.. i have GENERAL thoughts about them since im not super confident in characterizing them so i hope these thoughts suffice

if i ever came around to invest in writing them, i want to write them in such a way that is agonizingly close to walking across the boundary that is friendship / allyship into something closer but never will. never something spoken. a situationship at most that will always be held back due to the nature of nash’s existence and purpose as a sleepwalker.

given how i feel that nash can never stay in one place due to trying to keep a low profile despite being a kind person at heart ( i.e baroniza pie comp standing in for qin, wishing to stay in upper tenmou with eunoia but cannot ), that behavior is shared across many interactions. i feel that she cannot stay no matter how much her heart and mind yearns for a comfortable familiarity. i think that nash finds a comfort in eunoia but is also conflicted in her feelings that eunoia is an android but she is so very alive but with how eunoia is so open to her about how she has access to many things being made by cielcay and how she implies having more influence than it seems.. i think she naturally finds it hard to trust her despite how open eunoia can possibly be with restriction.

it is hard to embrace the hug eunoia presents with open arms despite how badly she wants to, its just not possible.

i also think.. ah well, i think this thought needs more brewing but

i have a eunash thought exercise that there exists a “real” eunoia that the android eunoia hivemind are modeled after that lives relatively quietly in where the writ in stone dream is located. i would like to write the disconnect between the “real” eunoia and the eunoia(s) nashatra has come to know.

i want to write a further agony to the idea around frozen soul, that there is so much more to the dreamsphere and by writing extension the world that we know. even when nashatra feels she finally has a grasp on who eunoia is, even with details omitted such as motive and intention, this eunoia stands in the way. her existence poses more questions.

i apologize if these arent the softest or sweetest headcanons, especially when compared to other pairings i draw where there is some dallop of domestic sweetness. i just, have a feeling i will have a world of fun spinning pain of not truly belonging, that the purpose projected onto you by a role you never asked for preventing you from living the life you want. that even when somebody welcomes you with open loving arms you cannot leap into them and lay there forever.

ha.. i think i ended up on more of a nashatra, character speculate than eunash.

ill be sweet a little to compensate.

i like to imagine sometimes, nashatra will afford even a bit more time than she feels she should to spend more time speaking to eunoia. that the moments she has conversation with eunoia about even the silliest things are the warmest she feels despite eunoia’s general symbol being a snowflake.

i think that they do indeed have moments of physical affection that is never explicitly written or spoken to be romantic, but you can feel the tension of yearning for something more that you cannot have. i dont think theyll ever kiss, i dont think they will ever utter i love you to one another, i dont think theyll do a lot of things associated with being romantic but i think ..

i think the day eunoia mourns, will speak volumes about love.

Why Sasuke-Naruto and not Sasuke-Sakura?

A great deal has been written about the latter's relationship—or the lack thereof—being atrocious due to its glaringly one-sided nature. However, in this post, I tell why I was personally drawn to the former when I first read Naruto and why the latter felt so out of sync with my perspective.

I discovered Naruto—and by extension, sasunaru—during my formative years in late adolescence, and it left a lasting impression on me. Before Naruto, my exposure to anime was quite limited, restricted to shows that aired on TV in my country, such as Pokémon, Dragon Ball, and Beyblade. However, when I gained access to the internet, albeit with limited capacity but unrestricted freedom, I began exploring more anime. I started with Fullmetal Alchemist, as it was highly recommended and relatively short, and then moved on to Shoujo like Kaichou wa Maid-sama, Fruits Basket and Kamisama Kiss. Despite this, I had never properly delved into a long-running shounen series. Naruto, being ubiquitous, naturally caught my attention.

Even before I started reading it I had come across jokes on Facebook anime meme pages about Naruto and Sasuke being gay, but I didn’t take them seriously. When I finally began reading Naruto (it was still ongoing at the time, nearing its final volumes), I was immediately drawn to the character dynamics and the emotionally driven story. What stood out to my romance-induced mind was how Sasuke seemed to fit the role of Naruto’s love interest from the very beginning. Despite Naruto's behaviour towards him, Sasuke defended him from Sakura, risked his own career to feed him when he was hungry. It seemed as if he held affection for him even before they officially became a team (little did I know that Kishimoto would later confirm this) . Unconsciously, I began shipping them, even though I had no prior understanding of shipping or exposure to media featuring same-sex couples.

And then came the Land of Waves arc—the rest, as they say, is history.

On the other hand, even though I was accustomed to heterosexual romances, Sasuke and Sakura’s relationship felt completely out of left field idea to me. This wasn’t just because of how one-sided it was, but also because Sasuke never went out of his way for Sakura in the same way he consistently did for Naruto.

A few months ago, I stumbled upon this on Reddit, and boy, did it almost hit the nail on the head on what I felt when I first started reading Naruto.

Although they incorrectly attribute Naruto and Sasuke's intense relationship to typical Shounen writing , nothing could be further from the truth.

I have heard people say that Sasuke-Sakura are a Shoujo couple stuck in a Shounen. I have to laugh.

I will reiterate what I said in this post

Sasu/Saku's popularity stems from the fact that the dynamic between Sasuke and Sakura at first resembles the typical setup of many shoujo romances from that era. They could have been that shoujo couple, but Kishimoto chose to subvert the tropes usually associated with such relationships.

An average girl, lacking any special talents and often clueless, relentlessly and one-sidedly pursues the school heartthrob. He has an icy demeanor and consistently rejects and insults her. However, due to her persistence and the time they spend together, he gradually begins to show affection for her and eventually loves her.

This would be the plot for many Shoujo mangas. Most famously, Itazura na Kiss, released in 1990, is a quintessential example of this, it has inspired many others and has had countless adaptations.

To quote one of the series' reviewer:

" This anime is about Kotoko, a ditzy, klutzy, dimwitted, high school girl, and her one-sided pursuit of her school's super-perfect heart throb, Irie. The central conflict revolves around Kotoko's struggle to get Irie's attention and to get past his incredibly cold personality. You see, Irie, in addition to being good at everything he does, is a complete douchebag and sees Kotoko as nothing more than an annoying flea. "

Sounds familiar?

However, in the case of classic Shoujo , the guy begins to start reciprocating her feelings. Her persistence is rewarded.

This is why many Sasu/Saku stans are unfazed by Sasuke's callous (justified) behaviour and Sakura's shallow feelings. Because they think Kishimoto is following the tropes straightforwardly.

Sasuke is not that male lead. Unlike characters who may be affected by the continuous efforts of the girl, Sasuke is deeply focused on his own life and personal challenges. He has little room to entertain Sakura's infatuation. As a result, he finds Sakura's persistent feelings and declarations completely unremarkable, as they do not resonate with him in the slightest. Sakura's sheltered upbringing and worldview fail to intrigue him, as he is seeking something much deeper and more meaningful than what she represents.

What ties all this together is that the manga explicitly states that Sakura can never hold the same importance to Sasuke as Naruto does.

" I can't get close to you " " Or exchange blows with you"

It’s quite clear who she is referencing: the person who can and does. Something Sasuke confirms verbally anyways.

Anyways, the romantic tropes lie between Sasuke and Naruto, not Sasuke and Sakura.

Incredibly long post about Trey and Riddle's Relationship that I vaguely said I'd do in the tags of my posts somewhere

Disclaimer: this is not intended to be shipping in any way I very much view them as family, even more so after these updates. To start with I'm going to separate their relationship into 3 distinct stages and focus on their perceptions of each other at each stage. I think their relationship is wonderfully written As usual, I ramble so sorry in advance, but I really want to analyze how complex they are.

Stage one: Childhood: ||Riddle|| A friend: Trey and Chenya were Riddle's first friends. Riddle had spent his whole life knowing the four walls of his home and his mother and both Trey and Chenya were his gateway to experiencing the world outside his windows. As such, they're immensely valuable to him. Under his mother he had no other way to grow socially, so when provided with a logical reason for going out and playing (Chenya stated his grandpa believed play is a form of study) he jumped at it because he wanted that connection. Trey specifically was his ideal. I think he looked up to him a lot. Normal home life. His mother didn't confine or trap him in any way. And he could eat whatever he liked. That's why when Trey said that one or two slices of tart wouldn't hurt, it was good enough to sway Riddle. All his life he'd grown up hearing about sweets being poison. But Trey seems happy and fulfilled so surely it's not as bad. However, breaking his mother's rule made him lose everything. The momentary friendship he'd built and any chance of freedom. It impressed upon him the importance of following the rules because breaking them lead to loss. And on top of that, it left him with guilt. I talk a lot about Trey's guilt in this situation (and I will talk more) but Riddle has his own guilt too that just manifested in a different way. More on that later.

||Trey|| A brother: While Riddle might have viewed Trey as a friend (no doubt because he was an isolated only child with a different perception and a lot of baggage tied to the world family), Trey saw him as a brother. He expressly states in his dream that Riddle was smart enough to identify plants and flowers and had enough magic control to get their soccer ball out of the trees, and he felt proud to have a smart little brother. And this sort of label is easier for him because he comes from a rather healthy family with siblings and has a blood brother around Riddle's age. Instinctively, Riddle became someone he wanted to care for, spoil, and cherish. That's why after knowing Riddle wanted to try a tart he wanted to let him. Later on, he tries to dismiss or come to terms with his actions in various ways, stating that it was not his place and of course anyone would get upset if their house rules and dietary restrictions weren't being respected. He tries to make it out into a joke, saying it's become a family incident of sorts that they just laugh about. "Who gets that mad at children playing." But underneath all those attempts to bury his own trauma, lies guilt. Because he feels, deep down, that as a brother he should have protected Riddle better. And instead, after just 2 months, he had to see everything that made Riddle happy stripped away again. More on this later. Stage 2: Riddle's First Year

||Riddle|| A stranger. Riddle's changed. He's developed some of his mother's anger. He's been confined for years. And because of that one incident with the tart, he firmly believes that growth and by extension fulfillment can only happen under the rules. Moreover, since Trey represents that period of his life where he learned that lesson rather harshly, he ices Trey out, pretending he barely knows him. After all, they might as well be strangers after all these years. Especially since Trey is banned from his house. This is a result of the guilt I mentioned earlier. He failed to follow his mother's rules and the punishment put Trey and his peaceful family that he looked up to in the crossfire. I think a part of him doesn't know how to face Trey after all that, worried that he might hate him. However, he cannot fully erase his own memories. So it is Trey he consults when he asks how to challenge a dorm leader for the seat. Even if he's distancing himself by calling him "Clover-senpai" Trey still remains someone he trusts to a degree. After Riddle takes the throne he makes a decision I find interesting. He doesn't select a vice, instead he leaves it to the popular vote. This could be read two ways IMO. Either, he didn't feel the need to have a vice because he was so confident in his own skills, but was aware that it was customary to have one so it didn't matter to him who it was. Or, deep down, he was afraid that no one would be willing to work with him. After seeing his dream, I do think it might be the latter. All of the darkness versions of his card soldiers showed some form of disloyalty. Willing to go along with the idea that they might jump ship, or that Riddle could be overpowered. It's this insecurity born from his own fear of his mother. He knows he's become a reflection of her, and he's worried how other people might react to it. In the end, he's still chasing those relationships from childhood, but is stuck believing that rules are the only way to keep what little happiness he has which alienates him from Trey to a degree. ||Trey|| A brother still: Despite the years, Trey's feelings about Riddle hadn't changed much other than being swamped with underlying guilt. Upon realizing that Riddle was going to attend NRC, his first instinct was to create a space for him. Trey generally, is introverted but excited to see his childhood friend again, he ends up talking to the people around him saying that Riddle was a quiet but studious boy and he hopes that people will welcome him. That was at least, before he saw what Riddle had become (he ended up fighting Floyd at the entrance ceremony) leaving Trey with the realization that this was not the boy he knew anymore. And worse, he was pretending not to know him. I'm sure it hurt, but even so, when RIddle asked about dueling the housewarden, he did try to accommodate him (after getting over his initial shock). The thing that gets me the most, however, is that Trey still saw the good in him. Trey in the rose maze part of Riddle's dream tells Ortho that the first thing Riddle did when he became housewarden was tend to the roses. To him that was a sign that Riddle was still somewhere in there and he was willing to support that. He would have been resigned to accepting that he was a stranger to Riddle if he hadn't been elected vice, but regardless of how Riddle felt, Trey still felt responsible for him. Both out of guilt and because he was still family.

Anything that can be put into a PDF, which means no music or animation. (Although contributors are encouraged to turn their pieces into animations if they choose to outside of this project). Comics are okay.

Contributor Expectations:

English speaking: mandatory.

Discord attendance: mandatory.

Check-ins: optional.

Let a mod know you need to drop: required.

Final deadline: non-negotiable.

Portfolio Requirements

Only cover artists need a portfolio. For our cover we're looking for an artist who has experience drawing fish or aquatic animals.

Content Restrictions and Guidelines:

Contributors must use at least 3 of the projects "clues". (These clues will be revealed at a later time)

The characters in the story should all be aquatic animals

Fictional, folklore, or fairytale aquatics are okay (i.e. Nessie)

For this project we ask people to stay away from creatures with human-like depictions like for characters (i.e merfolk and mermaids).

Ranboo’s boundaries

Since I know some people really like to have a specific thread of boundaries, I thought I'd throw some together for Ranboo just for quick reference!

Ranboo's boundaries are not on a rule by rule basis, they prefer people use common sense. This list is not exhaustive.

Ranboo’s overall ask is to be kind! When you are interacting with people inside and out of the community, be kind first. Be good people and be respectful.

Don't do anything that would hurt Ranboo or anyone else in the community. That means no racism, antisemitism, ableism, homophobia/transphobia, sexism, general bigotry etc.!

If there’s something that ranboo has done that makes you uncomfortable, please call it out. Ranboo encourages being corrected and wants to know when he’s made mistakes. He is a human and he WILL make mistakes. They will always apologize and try to do better.

Ranboo is an adult and can speak for himself. if he has an issue with the way something is being done in the community, he will speak on it. especially when it comes to fanart, don’t harass artists on the specific ways they draw ranboo. If they’d had a problem with it previously they would have said something.

Again, Ranboo is an adult. You don’t have to baby them. He can swear and drink and stay up late like any other adult can. He knows how to take care of himself.

Ranboo also doesn’t need to be defended. People are allowed to not like him, and trying to fight people who don’t like him is unhealthy, pointless, and paints the community in a bad light. Uplift the good instead!

If someone is being weird or makes a mistake, don’t dogpile them. Politely correct them, and if they continue to push things block and move on.

Don’t mention Ranboo in places they aren’t relevant. Don’t chat hop to ask their friends about him, DM his friends to try to get in contact with them, just in general don’t view his friends as extensions of him. They are all incredibly talented people and doing that just hurts Ranboo and his friends because it makes them not want to make content together!

Ranboo is fine with all compliments as long as they aren’t explicit. they are fine with all gendered terms. He uses he/they pronouns and is nonbinary and gay. They aren’t okay with shipping.

Ranboo is strictly against AI content, including AI generated art and voice covers. Support artists!!

If you are intentionally going against these restrictions it will result in a ban in chat, which means a ban from watching all streams, as well as crossbans to all of their friends chats. Ranboo doesn’t ban on genuine mistakes, but if it’s repeated behavior their mods have full authority issuing bans.

People need to stop being weird about enemies- to-lovers ships. Especially enemies-to-lovers F/M ships.

I'm so sick and tired of seeing those ships automatically labeled "problematic" or "abusive" when there are similar M/M ships that are held as the literal pinnacle and backbone of fandom.

Why is it that M/M enemies to lovers its uwu and homoerotic, and F/M enemies to lovers is "ew he's abusing her"

People who are out there calling F/M shippers "nasty", "stupid" or "brainwashed by gender norms" are y'all okay?

Oh, no here's a straight couple straight women are horny for.

That can't be right.

And "Oh this is that classic bad boy/good girl" trope, as though it's not literally the most popular dynamics ever? Not just in straight media but in media in general?

Some of y'all just don't like that that certain ships are popping off and are finding audiences and are growing and attracting more people in fandom. And yeah, let's have a conversation about how fandom is changing. But also we can do it without being misogynistic toward new shippers (hopefully).

I'm tired of doing extensive blog search before reblogging something from a fellow fan. Fandom isn't changing. Draco/Ginny and Draco/Hermione were huge and much like Reylo.

The only difference is that slashers built the currently popular big hub, so the het shippers are flocking there and having to deal. 20 years ago, they'd have been homophobically whining about "OOC" for all m/m ships and chasing m/m off of the bigger platforms. Now, people in general are less likely to be openly homophobic.

The hand-wringing goes back to the birth of the novel, but "Twilight will make women into doormats, ohnoes!" was definitely very similar to the current enemies-to-lovers = Satan stuff.

Finished my little compilation of Sav and her mobility aids! ID in alt for each.

Disclaimer that I'm able-bodied & open to criticism about my portrayal! Also I realized belatedly her rollator is parked in a way that would, in fact, not keep it from rolling the fuck around, my bad.

Further details about my design philosophy/Sav's symptoms under the cut.

I played Savtas through Consular Story Chapter 1 in Full Good Girl Mode, saving all the Jedi and using the shielding ritual whenever prompted. The side effects of the rituals are vague and inconsequential in-game so as to make the job of the writers and programmers easier; characters comment worriedly about the fact that you "look tired" and not much else.

Fortunately, I have none of these restrictions. I don't know how to scientifically quantify "life-essence", but in my canon the energy required to create and maintain the shields comes right out of the body of the shielder, and behaves first and foremost like a faster-than-sustainable burning of calories. In the short-term, Sav became dangerously malnourished and fatigued; in the long-term she developed PoTS and what I've been glibly referring to as "Force fibro" in my brain, because the symptoms she experiences are the similar to that of those who suffer from fibromyalgia in real life: chronic pain, chronic fatigue, disordered sleep, and brain fog.

Some of those physical symptoms are ameliorated via use of a mobility aid, so she's tried out a couple different types.

Rollator

Sav's mobility aid of choice, purchased somewhere at the beginning of Ch 2. Sav is prone to dizziness and fatigue, and has less difficulty walking than she does standing for long periods; the rollator helps keep her balance and gives her somewhere to sit for short spells when she needs to.

The wheels do make this device better for navigating flatter and more even ground, but I imagine she can swap the wheels out for all-terrain varieties. I wonder if you could put blades on them like ice skates, to move around on places like Hoth? Well, the brakes wouldn't work, so probably not.

As mentioned in a previous post on my other sideblog, the design and colors are meant to evoke the pillars of the old Jedi Temple on Coruscant. This model is bespoke, created to Savvy's whimsical specifications. It wasn't even that expensive; you'd be surprised how many discounts people are willing to offer a Jedi!

Chair

A gift from the Jedi Council upon her defeat of Terrak Morrhage and the subsequent quelling of the Force plague. It's a more expensive model, and comes with a sturdy stand to rest it on when it's charging or not in use.

Design inspo drawn from both canon sources and the wonderful hermitmoss' hoverchair headcanons post!

I deliberated for a while as to whether Sav would have been given a wheelchair or a hoverchair. I settled on hoverchair mostly because Sav wanted a certain level of independence in her movement, but nobody was sure how long it would take her to regain enough upper body strength to reliably push herself around in a manual chair.

Sav in this image is at the beginning of her recovery, but she does continually make use of her chair after regaining some of her weight and muscle mass. Her rollator became her device of choice over the chair in part because the chair is kind of bulky and heavy, and can't be easily collapsed for transport. She probably has a lighter, more maneuverable transport chair stored on the ship to utilize in a pinch.

Looking at the design of the chair, I am already dissatisfied with it - the seat isn't raked to keep her from sliding out of it, and the control panel should realistically be attached to an extension and not directly under her hand. We'll fix that in the next pass, I think, but for now this drawing is representative of the overall design and colors.

Cane

She's got a few of these! Most have an offset or contour grip because she finds them the most comfortable, and most have adjustable bases.

Her favorite is probably the non-adjustable wooden one she got from a craftsman on Alderaan, the only one she owns made of fully organic materials.

Welcome to the Enstarrie Shuffle Project (not the best name - im aware)

This is a new, text based project currently ran by and moderated by a single person with the intent to create new, non-canon stories for Enstarries to enjoy. More information below!

So, what exactly is this project? The explanation may be a little long - so strap in!

The Enstarrie Shuffle Project is a fan run project, creating new stories for the fans to enjoy. The stories will mostly be following canon, using the in universe shuffle unit concept as a base. Despite this, all stories are NON CANON.

But also, "mostly following canon" is vague isn't it? What does that mean exactly?

As mentioned before, the project will be entirely text based. By extension, due to the nature of the official Ensemble Stars writing, these texts will also be dialogue heavy in nature. However, more descriptive forms of text will also be included for more enjoyable reading.

Custom artwork will not currently be happening for these stories - largely for an easier creative workflow and a more consistent upload for new content. Official artwork will instead be featured for announcement posts and masterlist thumbnails.

The project will also be intending to mostly follow the official timeline. Stories will bounce between ES Year 1 and Year 2 with a mention of its year at the start of every shuffle.

Additionally, ships will NOT be a prevalent thing. Instead, relationships will be handled similarly to the official source with interactions being able to be read as romantic or platonic.

However, this doesn't mean the official source will be followed 100% - there will be some exceptions made.

The most important difference being that Ibuki Taki will NOT be a member of Akatsuki. He will be treated as his own single member unit for the foreseeable future. Other odd story decisions that have been made will also be ignored.

Anzu will also be treated as her own character, appearing in stories whenever she can if it feels right for the plot. She will have her own arcs and bonds with the characters instead of being treated as just a protagonist.

At the time of this introduction post's creation, there are about 5 shuffles planned out using a few holidays as inspiration. They won't be uploaded in time for the holidays celebration, instead will (more than likely) be uploaded sooner once they are completed.

More shuffles will be planned and created in the future as well, with some characters possibly being in the same units more than once to allow for less restriction when creating.

Now, as only one person is running this project it will create some issues when it comes to uploading and creating.

As I am one person with my own life and stories will take a while to create, I plan to release shorter one-shots to replace the official mini talks. Each mini talk will serve as a tie-in for released stories or a teaser for upcoming stories.

I also am not perfect at writing every character. Despite this, I do have plans to continue to read older stories I haven't to hopefully get a better understanding of most characters to be able to write them for stories.

Input from fans will also be accepted! Tumblr asks and Anon posts on the strawpage are open to allow for people to share their ideas and/or criticisms to take into consideration for future stories or mini talks.

As for where the project will be uploaded, it will be available to read on both Tumblr and AO3 to allow you to read where you prefer. Both the Twitter and Tumblr account will be used to post story updates and Moderator posts.

Once a story is complete, all chapters will be uploaded at once before work is started on the next story. Mini Talks will be dropped randomly between these story uploads as a surprise.

All moderator posts largely unrelated to projects - such as ones to respond to asks or anon posts - will be marked with a dove emoji to allow for easy muting or searching. I will try to answer what I can if reasonably possible.

I know this was all a bit of a read but thank you for making it to the end! This Project will go on as long as there's support from both myself and the community. I hope you enjoy the Enstarrie Shuffle Project!

Star Wars: Saasa Raassiks

Now we get to the badass mother of Pa’loa, Saasa :) Pronounced Saa-YA-sa Raa-Ss-eks.

Saasa Raasskis is a 22-year-old Togruta female with Force sensitivity. She lives on the planet Zullu, which is uninhabited and serves as a living and breathing ecosystem for the Force. Her mother, Athsok Raasskis, was a former Jedi Master who fled Coruscant while pregnant during Order 66. Saasa was born and hidden on Zullu, where she was trained by her mother in the ways of the Force from an early age, however, Athsok renounced the conventional Jedi principles on account of their restrictive code, which, in her view, led to the Jedi Order's downfall. Due to the planet's unique conditions, Saasa has developed an exceptional connection and harmony with the Force, essential for her survival in the harsh environment. Athasok and Saasa lived in peace as Zullu wasn't recognized on many Star Systems to begin with, therefore the Galatic Empire had no knowledge of their existence. When Saasa was a child, she often felt lonely because she didn't have many opportunities to socialize with other people. Instead, she would spend long hours in the vast wilderness, where she made friends with the animals and even tried to use the Force to connect with others. Growing up in the jungle made Saasa a natural athlete, and she can effortlessly climb the dense terrain as if she were an animal herself.

In the year 4 ABY, just before the events of Return of the Jedi, Luke's ship crashes on Zullu after the Force summons him, causing his ship to be pulled towards the planet’s center. He survived for several days in the wilderness before Saasa appeared. Saasa was curious about the young human man and had been following him. However, she pretended to be hostile to protect herself and her home. Saasa developed a unique ability called "Force Truth", where she could use the Force in her eyes to look into people's inner selves, thoughts, and true intentions. After sensing that Luke was one with the Force and meant no harm, she apologized for her initial aggression towards him. Saasa then led Luke to her Mother, Athsok, who recognized him after hearing his surname. Athsok told him that she knew his father and Obi-wan, as they had all served together as generals of the Republic during the Clone Wars and all of the stories she had. Luke's desire to finish his Jedi training, as well as his natural curiosity about Zullu, led the mother-daughter duo to offer him an extended stay. They would teach him everything they knew, and he managed to remain on Zullu for a few months, learning how to survive on the planet by connecting to the Force.

Athsok, a highly skilled Jedi Master, was personally trained by the legendary Yoda himself. Her extensive knowledge and unparalleled experience in the Force proved to be of great assistance to Luke during his Jedi training. Through their rigorous training and survival in the unforgiving jungle, Saasa and Luke formed a strong connection through the Force, eventually leading to them falling deeply in love. However, their love was cut short as Luke was compelled to leave and rescue Han Solo on Tatooine. Despite this separation, Saasa made a bold decision to leave behind her mother and Zullu, and join Luke in his fight against the tyrannical Galactic Empire. Having spent her entire life in hiding, Saasa finally felt empowered to aid the Resistance in their struggle for freedom. Saasa showed unwavering trust in Luke's leadership during the events of Return of The Jedi and played a pivotal role in the destruction of the second Death Star's shield generator, effectively aiding Leia, Han, and Chewy to emerge victorious.

Luke and Saasa's relationship is a beautiful example of trust and mutual respect. Luke held Saasa in high regard for her plentiful knowledge of the Force and saw her as a mentor. Saasa, on the other hand, admired Luke for his compassionate nature and unwavering commitment to freedom. Together, they joined the Resistance and played a crucial role in defeating the Galactic Empire. When the war was over, Saasa decided to stay with Luke and his friends to work towards restoring peace throughout the galaxy. Over time, their bond strengthened, and they fell in love with each other. Eventually, they got married, and Saasa continued to support Luke as he rebuilt the Jedi Order with new, less restrictive codes. As a master, Luke established the order on Yavin 4 but later moved it to Zullu under Saasa's influence. They believed that living in harmony with the Force was the true way of the Jedi. Their love bore fruit in the form of a daughter named Paloa Skywalker, who was a human-Togruta hybrid. Luke and Saasa took great care in raising Paloa and instilled in her the values of the new Jedi Order. Together, they continued to work towards a better future for the galaxy with victories and failures, yet their legacy lived on long after they were gone.

Through the Indian Forest Act of 1865, forests with high-yielding timber trees such as teak, sal and deodar became state property. To maximise how much timber these forests yielded, British colonial authorities restricted the rights of local people to harvest much beyond grass and bamboo. [G]rasslands and open scrub forest gave way to teak monocultures.

Eucalyptus and other exotic trees which hadn’t evolved in India were introduced from around 1790. British foresters planted pines from Europe and North America in extensive plantations in the Himalayan region as a source of resin and introduced acacia trees from Australia for timber, fodder and fuel.

One of these species, wattle (Acacia mearnsii), first introduced in 1861 with a few hundred thousand saplings, was planted in the Nilgiris district of the Western Ghats. Why is the english translation "Lavender Hearts" ?

We are aware that this ISN'T a direct translation. Not all titles in other languages are 100% direct translations. So, this is how we got to the name: 香 — this is a character from jiro's name. It means "fragrant" or "incense" and is used in words like perfume (香水) and spices (香辛料). Overall used for smells, scents, aromatics. Flowers are commonly known for their scents. And Kyoka is often associated with purple. Lavender is a known purple flower known for its aroma. Lavender is also known to have connotations of calm, grace, romance, and creativity—which are pretty relevant to our theme This is how we got to Lavender Hearts.
