So this is your own 'what I personally find funny' heritage blog lmao? Selection based on your own preferences? I was wondering why so many posts were missing

I mean, yeah? Kind of? I am one person running this blog, so of course the content is going to be biased in some way or another. I've been quite open about that.

However, since I am one person, I'm not omniscient. I have not seen every dragon age post there is. So I have no idea what you mean by the posts that are "missing".

Luckily, I do allow people to submit posts if they want to! It's in my pinned post! Just because only a few people have taken me up on it doesn't mean it's not allowed/encouraged. I'd even consider taking some posts down for whatever reason if anyone approached me kindly about it!

If you feel like I'm missing something, you can absolutely do something about it besides condescend to me. Thanks!

#song of the day #this is a song from Duncan!#had a pretty rough day today but we took a break for dinner and while we ate I was talking to Duncan about the Orla Gartland songs #how I always think it's neat when multiple songs by an artist all come to me through different avenues in a relatively short timespan #and I played 'You're Not Special Babe' for him #and he asked if I would like to hear another song that sounded similar? and I was like yes fascinating another one yes!#and here it is!#love a song that's like yeah it's hard but you've got a lot of time to figure it out. like it's hard but not unusually hard. you'll see #encouraging in a very specific way. the kind of encouragement you want when you're really tired (seems I'm always really tired these days)#not a 'you can do it if you try!' effort encouragement but 'this is normal actually and you'd have to really fuck up to /not/ do it'#like thank goodness. even last place still finishes the race.

So many of my paintings in sone way boil down to. Im a body. I am scared of not being in control of myself. I have a body. I am scared that it will betray me. I love my body. I wish i could perceive it in its entirety.

#its so hard to properly put into words. i think about the flesh every day.#being a body. owning a body. what does ownership mean in that context. loving your body. hating your body.#your body as the only avenue for ur consciousness to interact with your surroundings #your body as the only way for your consciousness to exist in the first place #the knowledge of being a construct of flesh that just grew and became a person #idk man i think abt this all the tiiiime.#it's pretty fucking magnificent #the perspective we have as ourselves is also so. like physically. we have a first person point of view #but we look out of our body. theres parts of our body we could never see without a mirror or photography #inside and outside #if reföective surfaces didnt exist we would never know our own face and we also dont know what our organs look like or our bones #bc looking at those necessitates a certain degree of violence #the discovery of anaesthetics and sound surgical practices is so crazy actually like the fact that we can cut each other open #and fix something. reattach body parts. remove things.#it's so fucking wiiild to me. the fact we can put a dead person's organ into a living person to help them.#idk man it's just sooooooo #sel talks
