hi guys, so idk what happened between last night and now, but some anon flodded my asks hating on rudy... ive deleted all the asks because i dont want to associate myself with drama. but i wanna address this bc it made me rly uncomfortable.

This page clearly says jj maybank on like- every corner. Im writing about rudy's character so obviously hes gonna be here ykwim? obviously hes an attractive person and ive mentioned it but i dont think ive really mentioned him as rudy in anything other than a few posts here and there.

ik theres a lot of drama surrounding him rn but its not okay to harras me in my asks because i write about his character ?? like its not even HIM. its his character.

i havent mentioned an inkling of all that drama on my blog bc its honestly not my business. those ppl are grown adults and they can deal w whatever theyre dealing w by themselves. i dont want to know about what happened bts and honestly i have no business knowing it. its not my place to know the drama or to judge someone i dont know. none of the obx cast members owe us any explanation ab whats happening in their personal lives.

ive watched rudy's other works, think hes a good actor and im excited for him and whatever life and hollywood has to offer to him next but i dont indulge in drama.

this blog is about jj. and only jj. if im writing smut about jj its obviously bc i think hes attractive and jj is literally potrayed by rudy so BY EXTENSION obviously i think rudy is also attractive ???

but the point is, this page is dedicated to my fallen hero and only him. im not a rudy pankow fanpage so sending me hate is just redundant.

actually regarding that last post, i can map out the timeline of my book/series obsessions pretty well.

kindergarten-1st grade: The Chronicles of Narnia

1st-2nd grade: Nancy Drew

2nd-3rd grade: various horse books, including The Pony Pals, The Black Stallion, Black Beauty, and various Marguerite Henry books including King of the Wind, Misty of Chincoteague, and Brighty of the Grand Canyon

4th-5th grade: Redwall, Guardians of Ga'Hoole, and Warriors (my "talking animals" era)

5th-8th grade: this was my Harry Potter era

5th-8th grade: this also happened to be my DRAGON era, where i became obsessed with pretty much anything that had a dragon on the cover, notably including Eragon, Hatching Magic, The Last Dragon Chronicles, The Dragons In Our Midst series by Bryan Davis, The Dragon Keepers Chronicles by Donita K. Paul, and Dragon's Blood by Jane Yolen. my mom would not let me read dragonriders of pern at this age and i resented her for it.

(there was also a short period of time in 5th-6th grade where i became obsessed with the Star Wars: Jedi Apprentice books)

7th-9th grade: my STAR TREK era, and also around the time i discovered the existence of fanfiction.

i don't remember if i had a specific book series i was into at this point in time, although this is when i first read Bone and realized comics could be longer than the stuff in the newspaper.

9th-10th grade: this is where my comics era TRULY began, starting with X-Men and a whole slew of webcomics, including Gunnerkrigg Court, The Wotch, Darths and Droids, The Order of the Stick, Shortpacked!, Questionable Content, and Homestuck.

I don't remember if I was particularly hooked on a book series at this point--I vaguely remember feeling like all the books actually aimed at my age were a combination of unnecessarily edgy and uncomfortably sex/romance-obsessed, books for younger kids were too dumb/simple, and books for adults were mostly uninteresting because they weren't about experiences i cared about or could relate to.

11th-12th grade through sophomore year of college: DISCWORLD DISCWORLD DISCWORLD, i discovered discworld and DEVOURED those books.

this time period was also my Batman era

12th grade-junior year of college: my Avengers/MCU and SuperWhoLock eras

this is kinda when i mostly stopped reading books for pleasure? apart from my ongoing Discworld phase, i didn't read a whole lot of fiction books that weren't for school.

senior year of college: Undertale, Ace Attorney, and Hatoful Boyfriend all happened to me in this year, i was too busy with them to read actual books. also i think this is around the time i hit on The Adventure Zone

master's degree years: Critical Role and Evan Dahm's Overworld Tales comics

i don't actually remember what fandoms i was cycling through between the end of my master's degree and the Plague Years, apart from my Homestuck Revival Period.

Now: idk currently it's Hollow Knight but like two weeks ago it was Batman and before that it was MDZS/CQL again for a hot second, i'm just kinda floundering around at the moment and haven't found a new series to get obsessed with for.... a pretty long while actually? i know i COULD start things and there are many many things on my to watch/read/listen list but starting new things is Incredibly Difficult and has been for a while now actually.

locked in a silent one sided war with the caribbean studies dept of my uni who is responsible for my thesis all bc the rejected my original thesis topic n i was very passionate abt it n from my in dept search none of the other papers actually discussed my topic so they pretty much wrongly rejected my topic n i tried to prove that and got ignored so yeah i'm pissed and like i'm not going to any of the seminars which my attendance at is mandatory bc i hate them n clearly they personally hate me too and it's a war i mean is this all me exaggerating? yh but this is how i see things i mean at least now i'm also better at seeing that the way i see things is a bit over the top doesnt really change the way i see it tho n like i still think my perception of all of this is justified bc fuck them? i had like my whole life attached to tht topic ok so yeah i mean the seminars are recorded n shared afterwards so it's not like the end of the world tht i dont go n there's like what myb 100ish students yh attendance is marked but like me being there wld be less uh noticable than me skipping n since i'm probably already "under their radar" having full absences for the seminar is probably a kind of bad idea ahah but whatever it also genuinely clashes with my german class so yh i mean myb im overeacting being unreasonable n being led by my emotions but it's the way i see it n myb it's wrong but again when i think abt it my first thought is fuck them fr??? bc they like destroyed my carefully planned out life (final yr of uni) n now i'm scrambling everything is uncertain n yh ok myb the average person wld just fuck it we ball but myb i'm not the average person n they shld be more uh considerate of the ppl whose lives they try to ruin with their stuck up haughty selfish academia practices like truly if i had found even one study tht even minorly mentioned content based instruction i wld still be upset n pissy abt it but i wld've stepped down n admitted i was wrong but i cant find one that even mention those words so it's like not to sound like a broken record but fuck them screams n ik like at the end of the day anything i do will only be sabotaging myself bc like this thesis is for me it's not benefitting them in any way whatsoever which is yk also why theyare fully removed n disconnected from the situation n thus have full liberty n dont care abt how their actions impact us bc i mean they've made it in life n we can all die for all the care except then ahaha how wld they cash in the big bucks for ruining our lives n making it more difficult than it has to be yk yah whatever i hate them n tht's tht ✌
