I played Mass Effect 2 first because back in the day I didn't have an Xbox and I didn't have a PC powerful enough to play the first game. So I played ME2 with literally 0 context.

This meant I had very little context as to WHY Cerberus was so fucking evil. I was also 22 and not very clued up on spotting red flags just.... in general. So I was aware it was a Bad Group, I just wasn't aware HOW bad. I was also a massive people pleaser so I was SO SCARED of saying anything to the Illusive Man that would make him mad at me.

So all of this means when I got to the end of ME2 and I was presented with the choice on whether to hand the ship over to the Illusive Man or not, I didn't know what to do. I knew Cerberus was bad but I was still unsure on how to handle the situation, especially as playing a good character working for an evil organization was a new concept for me.

Mordin was my first BIG favourite character in the series. To this day I love him to death. It took a little longer to warm up to Garrus (especially without the context of the first game) but Mordin was an easy win for me.

So here's a fun fact, if you have Mordin with you at the end of the gane, he suggests handing the research over to the Illusive man. Which I did. But if you speak to him on the Normandy afterwards.... he says the complete opposite.

Needless to say 2011 me was not very impressed.

Please help me find this fic again! I dont remember the name or the author's name but it was on ao3 and first posted sometime in the last few months. It was a ROTTMNT x 2012 crossover. Donnie and Leo ended up in 2012, and 2012 turts found and restrained r!Donnie. R!Donnie woke up and (eventually) broke himself out and it was epic. He ripped himself from the table(?) he was strapped to from just strength alone and crushed something with his teeth (i think. Side note: more fics should have that) and unleashed a blast(?) of ninpo which is what shocked 2012 turts and Splinter enough for r!Donnie to fly out of there. The Hamato ancestors give Donnie directions to follow to find Leo, one point Saki himself appears to direct Donnie (loved that detail so much). Leo's half conscious in a junk yard this whole time, also feeling the directions to Donnie.

And thats the last update i read! Im dying to reread this and see if its updated but i cant remember the name!!! Please help

Yeah! It’s really difficult to just pick 10 but, in no particular order,

1. Leonardo from 2012 TMNT — one of my first kins, he’s just amazing in every way idk what to tell you. He’s so nerdy and lovable I adore him.

2. Spencer Reid from Criminal Minds — my comfort show, if seen it more than anyone, he’s very Gender and so obviously Autistic that I identified with him before I even knew I was Autistic.

3. Tendou/Oikawa/Tsukishima from Haikyuu — I’m counting this as 1 character because I love everyone in Haikyuu, it’s my fav anime. But these three are just.. so good. They fall under the “pretty assholes” type and I love that for them.

4. Gon/Killua from HxH — again, 1 chara, HXH is tied for fav with Haikyuu, I just love Gon and Killua’s dynamic. Such a happy protagonist can sometimes be overbearing but I think Gon is written really well!

5. Percy Jackson from PJO — Grew up reading these books, of course I’m gonna adore the OP ocean kid from NYC.

6. Nagisa from Assassination classroom & Isagi from BlueLock — Including both of them because I like them for the same reason. Two of my fav Animes. The character archetype of kind of weak/pathetic/underestimated but is actually badass is a personal fav of mine.

7. Spiderman & Tony Stark — More specifically the dynamic between Tom’s and RDJ’s versions of the characters. I love the father/son found family relationship. I love all Spiderman vers tho!

8. Geto Suguru from JJK — I could also include Gojo in this, because a huge part of why I love this character is because of his dynamic with Gojo, but I genuinely just like him by himself too. I LOVE characters giving in to the “dark side” so of COURSE I love this man.

9. Shen Yuan/Luo Binghe from SVSSS — They might not actually be top 10 tbh, but I’m brainrotting ab them rn so. I just, really like the “Good Person/Kinda Fucked Up” dynamic A Lot

10. Reki/Langa from Sk8 the Infinity — This anime destroyed me emotionally and mentally. But I adore these two so much. What they went through together?? Unparalleled.

This definitely isn’t all the characters I like, and it’s probably not too accurate, but these are pretty good for rn!

I know I complained about this a lot, but sheesh, I genuinely wish they established 12 mikey's character more.

my dude was trapped in a dimension for who knows how long, got sick ass electric power, able to glow for some reason, his sense of intuition is no doubt better than anyone else in the group- the list goes on.

I also think how they portrayed his childish behavior is a bit too extra? idk how to say it in English, but it really seems like they barely give anything good as a character rather than just the jokester and the one who messes everything up in the group.

I think those characteristics are fine to have in a character. but 2012 Mikey character was very unbalanced? it's really flat. his whole character was all negative while his supposedly positive/good traits were barely explored. pretty sucks.
