I need a fic where Janet, Lex, Bruce, and Oliver knew each other as children or teens. They may have been a merry band of high society miscreants or as sworn frenemies.

Janet was a certified terror, and the boys were there to either keep her in check or join her. She also freaked them out, but they weren't going to admit that.

Around the time Bruce and Oliver disappear, Lex goes off to do his own thing, which leaves Janet.

She works to get her business degree and meets Jack Drake who (I headcanon) is a loveable idiot, loves archeology and would do anything for the ones he loves.

They get married and work on Drake Industries with Janet as the CEO as she's better suited for business. At this point, Bruce and Oliver are back as ditzy high-society men and Lex is basking in villainy so Janet doesn't bother to reach out, especially with Timothy on the way.

When Tim is born, she can't help but think about how he would've had three uncles to take care of him when she couldn't but there's no chance of that happening anymore.

Janet vows to teach Timothy everything she knows about handling people, business, and whatever else the world throws at him.

Bruce is the only one who knows that Janet has a child and does not see the similarities between them until a while later when her kid is knocking on his door with the threat of blackmail.

I can only imagine the reactions that Oliver and Lex would have when they learn that there's a Janet 2.0 which is literally a copy and paste of her, just a different gender. _____________________________ I might expand on this... who knows?

“Woah, you really are a fruitloop.” Phantom gasped as they entered the main room of Lex's penthouse.

“What does that even refer to?” Lex grumbled.

“Typically a rich, narcissistic, evil dude that wants to kill my dad, marry my mom, tries to adopt me, and kick my sister out. Granted you are better than OG Fruitloop so far, you're only the first three.” Phantom stated, arms crossed and nodding, as if everyone has that problem.

Lex just stared at the teen.

“What?”

“First, you just met me, how do you know I am the first three to begin with? And second, you still accepted candy from a stranger. I would ask how you aren't dead yet, but that seems to have long passed.” Lex said, extremely unamused at the naive child.

Phantom shrugged “Didn't die by kidnappers-” 

“Astonishingly” Lex muttered.

“-Also, vibes. You feel like a fruitloop and my radar hasn't led me wrong yet.” Phantom shrugged again. “Anyway, what do we do now?” 

Lex sighed.

 “Well, we will check to see if Mr. Warden was truthful in who can see you or not.” Lex walked to a panel on the wall and spoke. “Mercy, you are needed.” 

“Do you just demand everyone around you?” Phantom snarked.

“Employees are meant to be told to do things. They do it and get paid. I doubt you would understand since you likely never had a job other than household chores.” Lex flatly stated.

“Oof, didn't have to call me out like that.” Phantom put his hand on his chest as if shot, exaggerating his offense.

The door opened and a tall blonde with a no nonsense attitude and a suit to match walked in.

“What do you need, Lex.” Mercy asked.

Phantom whistled. “She could probably give my mom a run for her money in a fight.”

Lex ignored him. “I think I will be staying in for the rest of today. Inform the others that I will not be bothered until next week.”

Mercy raised her eyebrow. “And that is including the interview with Mr. Kent and Mrs. Lane tomorrow?” 

Lex swore. “As much as I would love to miss that, Lane would find any excuse to drag my name further in the mud. I will attend that, but all other meetings will be rescheduled.” 

“Would it kill you to say ‘please’ and ‘thank you’?” Phantom tsked. 

Lex ignored him as Mercy acknowledged the orders and left the penthouse. 

“It is safe to assume that no one can see nor hear you. Mercy would not have tolerated your comments, pity.” Lex deadpanned. 

Phantom snorted in laughter.

subject-specific studying: math

this is the first part of my newest series, subject-specific study tips. please enjoy & check out my other posts :)

there is no "easy" way to succeed in math. the first thing you need to recognize is that math is the hardest subject you have, meaning you need to spend the most time on it. there aren't any easy hacks to help you here.

practice, practice, practice. the goal in math is to learn, not memorize. the only way to succeed in math is by practicing questions over and over again until you have completely understood the material.

do not leave a single stone unturned or you will regret it lol. even if you don't understand a small, tiny, seemingly irrelevant detail i guarantee you it will be on the test.

always ask your teachers questions. preferably ask them in class, because there will be someone who has the same questions as you, but after class works too. just make sure to write them in a notebook so you can remember the questions.

redo the homework, focusing on the hardest questions. most of the time your test will be harder than the homework. go over all your homework and select the most difficult questions to solve.

time yourself. make sure you can solve the problems under a time constraint, one similar to the test. not only do you need to get each problem correct, you also need to do so under time constraints.

review previous and new work before going to class. even if you don't understand it, always try to stay on top of what you're doing. seeing the material previously helps reinforce it better.

sleep well. before every math class, make sure you're alert and awake, because math classes move fast.

create a practice test by taking questions from online, past exams, and homework. try creating testing conditions similar to the test using the same time constraints and even testing in the same time of day. make it as accurate to the actual test as possible.
