Connected to The William Miles Gets A Woman Knocked Up Grieving Desmond’s Death idea (and its minisequel) and the Statistically speaking she would be 30~40 years younger than him.

He appeared before Basim out of the blue. Basim didn’t even know who he was or when he had appeared. Yggdrasil’s prison kept him stationary and the Norns weren’t really programmed to try and mimic human behavior enough to keep a conversation going.

So the sudden appearance of a figure clad in the light of their devices was a welcomed sight.

Basim didn’t really mind that said figure had hijacked the Norns, connecting their processing power to his own place in the Gray.

Basim didn’t even know where in the Gray he resided, only that the figure had more access to the Calculations than Yggdrassil and the Norns had.

Basim did realize that he wasn’t there for the Norns’ access to the Calculations.

He was there to make the Norns process the might influx of information coming from the Calculations, using them to build his own processing unit catered to his specific need.

“You wish to find a future where the ‘Catastrophe Singularity’ does not occur?” Basim asked curiously as he watched the Norns be worked to their bones, feeling no sympathy over them. They were programs given human-like forms to make it easier to talk to them.

The figure did not acknowledge him and Basim continued to speak anyway, walking towards the stump that was slowly turning into a tree made of golden light, “I’ll be able to help you. I know quite a lot about the Calculations. Not as much as the Capitoline Triad, I admit, but being imprisoned here did leave me with no other avenue of entertainment other than-”

The moment he touched the stump, the Norns glitched around them and a large piece shatter from the stump, slowly floating to his eye level. Basim took a step back as he said, “I apologize, I did not mean to-”

The loud moan coming from the shard caught him off-guard, making him frown.

“Verdandi.” The form ordered and Basim felt like he recognize his voice but cannot remember where.

“January 21, 2013. Portland Oregon.” Verdandi answered immediately.

Basim blinked.

“Oh, Bill! Yes, oh fu-”

Basim glanced at the glowing form staring at him before saying, “A recap would be appreciated, Urd.”

“William Miles, drowning in guilt over the death of his son, the chosen one Desmond Miles, and the finality of his divorce, is now having a one-night stand with a descendant of Basim Ibn Ishaq. This single sexual encounter will lead to the conception of the Sage of Aletheia and Loki’s child, Fenrir.”

Time was hard to grasp in the Gray so the most accurate way to explain what happened is was…

After an unknown time have passed, Basim absolutely regretted reading the report Urd compiled about William Miles.

ugh i'll say it i think i want farleigh back at saltburn because i want him to destroy oliver into obedience. i think oliver would greatly benefit from a massive blow to his utopia and a little bit of toxic rivals fun for a bit with farleigh but only on the condition that oliver is subdued by the end. need him to let it out and just reign in the freak a bit and fuckin settle. and also need farleigh to let himself go a bit. live a litte. taste some freedom and just ball. go apeshit. i think farleigh would really do well with that

idk maybe i'm just mad people dislike my Special Little Guy but like... the way that jarley shaped cultural perceptions of joker as a character (read: established the idea of him as a domestic abuser (of his female partner) furthering the associations with gendered violence/general misogyny that were (primarily) started by tkj/tdkr) feels homophobic in a way that's difficult to articulate

It's honestly heartbreaking to see the difference between Past Kakucho, who protested the murder of a girl he didn't even know, and Future Kakucho, who fatally shot his childhood friend in one timeline and was unmoved by Sanzu executing three people in front of him in another

funniest thing is if jinah gets to also have a system but she is like 10x better at using it than Jinwoo. If jinwoo was fast then Jinah goes for a week and come back with lv 100. She already knows everything and has found 20 so loopholes each day, all her gaming knowledge is finally being put to use and it has absolutely destroy Jinwoo who thought he was already completeling the levels in the fastest way possible but nah, Jinah even has breaks in between and she is still grinding faster than him.

idc what anyone says, but jason todd would get himself legally resurrected (because as much as he hates it he kinda needs a legal identity sometimes) and not tell anyone about it, because the last thing he wants is to deal with the publicity of being bruce wayne’s adopted son again (he dealt with it before his death and hated it so much so being perceived as dead by the public was probably great for him).

I loved how they kept showing us that Kakucho was always there. This scene wqs also devastating (Shin looks like a lost cat)

If they don't show us Bonten the season is going to end in a hopeful way! I don't believe liden films would do it like this, they were going for the pain all season 🤔

My bet is that we will have the "Where is Mikey?" and a few seconds of Bonten (THAT scene with the traitors would be gold and a good way of showing to anime onlys shit is still going down! But yeah, completly biased bc I need pink hair Sanzu 🙈) But at least I think we will see Bonten Mikey. Maybe just a few seconds, but he would be there for putting the last nails in our coffin 😣 (it's gonna be so painful even if we have a sneakpeak of all Bonten... Has Spider-Man ever had like a big rivalry with Scorpion in any way ? Both being arachnids and such.

Gargan is so underutilized I need to reread some of his stuff to jog some memories

Oh dear god over the first 300 issues of Amazing he had only 4 appearances

Anyway Gargan’s whole thing is that he was an investigator who worked off the books for Jameson to dig up some dirt on Peter Parker’s arrangement with Spidey

He didn’t exactly seem amazing at the job.

When that didn’t work he was then paid to be part of a program to turn him into the hunter of a Spider: Scorpion clearly setting him up as a dangerous threat and foil for Peter.

All of the power, none of the responsibility. Peter has first evil counterpart how lucky!

After he goes mad with power and Spidey stops him, his enmity with Spider-Man goes from being a job to being personal

They both have a whole thing with tracking, similar powers and of course the Scorpion and Spider dynamic alongside Scorpion being one of the characters who gets really set off by Spidey’s quips makes it surprising he isn’t more utilized as a member of the Rogues gallery.

Scorpion’s attempts at revenge would end next issue in Scorpion’s last appearance in Spider-Man books for like 20 years

In 2004’s Marvel Knights it would be revealed that Scorpion’s grudge fermented for a long while which led him to seek out the power of the Venom symbiote*. with the added knowledge that Spidey was Peter Parker he began to try and psychologically break him with Norman Osborn

So you’d think this would be the day Gargan is getting his big time reinvention right?

So yes they do have a rivalry, but it is deeply one-sided on Gargan’s part.
