In a room, dark and empty, the floor below encased millions of crying and pleading souls. Yet you walked over them as one would to insects on the ground. Your eyes peeked open a bit and the voices all quiet to nothing

The rows of Knight armours and life-sized wooden figures that aligned the walls all bowed in your presence. Your feet brought you to a round red table to the farther side, on top of the table was the exact replica of the landscape of the Pride Ring

In this domain of yours was a lovely creation of yours after Lucifer took over Hell, a table for each of the Rings of Hell and one each table was the exact map of everything within the Ring. From buildings to landmarks to the portals to other Rings for the Hellborns. You had it all and saw it all with your eyes around all of Hell

Your fingers hovered over the marked territories and the duplicates of your souls’ figures placed in their respective areas. Your eyes scanned over, spotting some new figures that has appeared and some areas marked with unfamiliar colours and aura. A hand waves over the entirety of the map like a fan, domains marked in red was nearly half of the place

Whispers of souls from the bodies of your provided winged creatures known as Cages flew around you. They were of your design, with black feathered bodies and wings, similar to that of a crow or raven. But with a twist, eyes red as blood, wings of blades, metal claws, and uniquely their bodies house the souls you deemed with potential to return back to their own lives

“Sinners have been brazen.” 

“Very bold. They have stolen your land.” 

“Disrespectful. Undeserving.”

“Lazy Overlords!”

“Now, now, my Cages. They have a hard time as it is, don’t give them too much pressure.” While your tone was understanding and sweet, the coldness and disappointment in your eyes told a different story. “But I suppose they have been slacking in my absence.”

“Slacking. Slacking.” 

“How dare they. How dare.” 

“Punishment. Punishment.”

“Meeting?” 

A smile formed and your eyes closed, you turned away from the table as familiar dolls floated over to you. “Yes, it is time for a reunion.” 

A soft tune played in the radio tower. You sat in the comfortable armchair while your finger swayed from side to side with the music, you hummed a bit with your eyes closed, and one leg crossed over the other. Various pages floated in the air while a pen was writing on each of them at lightning speed

Your head tilted up a bit as something came to your knowledge. With a snap of your fingers, the paperwork all disappeared and the soft tune was gone. You hummed as you got up and faced outside, even with your eyes closed you can see all of Pentagram City that was the heart of the Pride Ring

“Alastor.”

The Radio Demon immediately appeared after the shadows rose to form his figure, he bowed with hand over his heart before placing it behind his back as he straightened up, “Yes, My Dear Liege?”

“Is Vox still challenging you to random games of his?” You remained facing the view outside of the tower’s window.

“That he is.”

After Alastor had rubbed into Vox’s face that you were avoiding Vox, the insecure Overlord was keen on challenging Alastor on battles of a playful nature to one up him as a way to prove he was superior. Though all that told you was his childishness and lack of responsibility

It had been a while since your presence was made known to the other Overlords, particularly your elite collection. Your stay in the Hazbin Hotel was passed within the group, but none dare to approach you as it was against your likeness to seek you out under information passed along. It wasn’t wise to fake or arrange a chance meeting as well, for you’d know and they don’t want to face the consequence

While you were physically absent, you were not ignorant to what goes on, especially with your collection. You thought perhaps it was time for you to formally make yourself known since they have been very well behaved even after Alastor egged them so. Good that none took the bait

It’s not your intention, however, to put such test and tease for your wonderful elites, but when the opportunity is there, you can’t resist. You let things fall and observe the results. They were very amusing with their persistence to find you yet appear as though they weren’t bothered with your absence

Though the fun’s gotta end

“Arrange a meeting of my Elites,” You turned your head to Alastor’s direction with your eyes closed, “Hmm, in 6 days, let’s do it at Camilla’s place. The Witching hour would do nicely.”

Alastor bowed once more, “Of course, as you desire. Shall I broadcast it right away?”

You gestured to his chair for him to take a seat. When he did, you placed a hand on his shoulder and your eyes opened with a glow, in turn, so did his pendant with an eye design, “Please do.”

Alastor felt power surge through his form as his tower lit up with an eerie green, he spoke into the microphone on his desk, “Let this be a broadcast to the only Elites~ A special message and invitation to the Collection of Elites from Our Beloved Liege.”

Simultaneously, in various parts of the Pride Ring, targetted individuals received their broadcast. Immediately standing at alert

Zestial threw away his teacup and saucer the moment he felt the left coat pocket glow. He carefully took out his pendant and made it hover in the air while his head bowed, awaiting for the message broadcasted through Alastor’s powers mixed with yours

Carmilla raised from her seat when her chest warmed from the pendant, she pulled it out from the charm from the chain around her neck. She brushed aside the documents she had littered around her desk and placed it down, bowing with her hair down when she realized the situation, the long await word from you

Rosie shushed her cannibals, excusing herself when his pendant warmed up with a glow. She arrived at her private room and set the pendant on the couch while she seated next to it, acting as if you were present with her

Zeezi immediately threw a punch at the demon, quickly ending the fight. She kicked away the body, wiping away the blood on her hands before taking out the pendant, and bowed her head to it with eyes closed

Vox’s eyes widened, eying the pendant when Alastor’s voice came through, he was about to dismiss it but the fact that your title was mentioned meant Alastor was speaking on your behalf. He travelled through the cameras to where the other two were lazing around with the pendant in hand, putting it on the table in front of him and which made Velvette and Valentino snap to attention

“A meeting will be held in actually 6 days, at the Wtiching Hour. The meeting place will be at Carmilla’s. Needless to say, your attendance is mandatory.” Alastor relayed all the details you told him.

However, before Alastor ended the broadcast, you spoke up near the microphone, “I look forward to your presence, everyone.”

Once the news was out, the Overlords immediately got to work

Zestial went to Carmilla’s place help her prepare to your standards and satisfactory. Preparing the room to be more elegant and dignified, different from how the usual Overlord meetings were when she hosted

When Carmilla’s daughters heard the news, they were excited as well, it has been ages since they last saw you and even longer when their household was hosting your meeting place. For it was an undeniable honour for you to pick their rundown location for something so rare and sacred

After all, this was the first meeting you’ve hosted and called the others since years, it felt even longer when it was you that gathered everyone together like this. Surely, the topics of discussion was grim and serious for such an occasion

Either way, all Overlords were going to enjoy their time in your presence. Just having you near them was a gift and for you to call them was a joyious event, one worthy of celebration

Though they were very envious that Alastor got you to himself all this time. Again, the blame would be on Vox who had been causing you such discomfortable in your own world, for all their territories were yours to begin with. You were merely gracious to share your spoils with them. Lowly sinners that rose to their current standing and ranks with your support

All looked forward and dreaded the day that was to come. The other sinners and demons felt a change in the air when the Elite Overlords were more active. It was subtle but hard to ignore when the Overlords were more on edge and easy to come to anger

Zestial appearing in the streets more, Carmilla’s demand for perfection, Rosie’s increase appetite, Zeezi’s increase violent battles, and the Vees’ desperate need to produce more results

Somehow, the nobodies Overlords heard of an Overlord meeting and planned on attending as well. Yet the moment these self-proclaimed souls planned on doing so, knight armours and wooden figurines took a hold of them and the shadows devoured them without mercy

Alastor set down a plate of food in front of you, noticing the small smile on your face even when your eyes were closed. “Does something amuse you so, My Liege?”

You chuckled, “Oh, nothing much. Merely some souls begging for a good torment.”

Alastor felt his smile grow, understanding the implication. He so loved your sadistic nature to those unworthy, for he done the same. “I see. As long as you’re enjoying yourself.”

Your eyelids fluttered open a hinch, “Believe me when I say, I am.”

Note: Okay, I lied. There's more to write than I thought. In my defense, there wasn't much idea, but then it flooded when I started. So there's part 3 where the Overlords are meeting the Collector~

Whenever a Helluva Boss episode releases, there are a lot of tweets that, unfortunately, aren't very knowledgeable about Vivziepop's interpretation of Hell and frankly, I can't blame them.

These quote tweets just prove how poorly written the overall world building of Helluva Boss is. This scene is nice, but a lot of users are EXTREMELY confused, especially about the different types of demons and what really goes on in Hell.

Most of the information about Hellborns and the other Rings will have to be looked up on the Wiki page or through other YouTube videos. The viewers shouldn't have to do outside research to figure out what's going on within the show.

If the creator of a show is unable to effectively communicate what's going on within the world IN the show, then they've failed as a creator and a writer. Because only the die-hard fans or people who desperately seek answers are willing to find said answers, and then they have to explain it to the new fans because the show failed to do that.

🐺 Unlike your constantly flowing stillborn/miscarriages/neonatal-death caused younger siblings, who produced from both your father and mother’s infidelities, you were far from interested in the power that comes from the corrupt system of Hell's, you were more interested in human things such as comics

🐺 When your parents were sent to the Greed Ring for a meeting with the Knolastname family leader and were found deceased mere weeks later, you decided to stay with one of your godfathers, Stolas Goetia and his wife, Stella, and daughter, Octavia

🐺 Loona was not happy to be in the human world, and when you just offered her a hand and pulled her up, she saw just how you really looked. Your hair looked like it was made out of the fins of a fishes' and your skin had littered amounts of scaled

🐺 The next thing you knew, you were staring at a humanoid Stolas and Loona while the three imps stood out like sore thumbs

🐺 Staring at Loona made you flustered and look away shyly, causing her to chuckle when she caught sight of you. You looked just as cute in this form as you did in your demon one

🐺 As you walked through this city Loona called LA, you had noticed that Moxxie and Millie had randomly disappeared while Blitzo and Stolas were kicked into a van and drove off after the head of I.M.P. gave you and Loona the order to find Octavia, making her and you flip him off

" If he cares, where is he? " " He's somewhere down there. " " He’s here? " " Looking for you. I mean… try to cut your dad some slack. He may not always get it right, but he's trying. 🐺 As the smog and clouds cleared to allow the moon to shine, Loona stood and held a hand out to Octavia, making her drop the magical book into her hand as she stood and readied herself before smiling at you

🐺 All of a sudden, Octavia tackled you and Loona into a hug, making you wrap your webbed hands around the two, landing your left on Octavia's shoulder blades while your right laid on Loona's side

🐺 Seeing Stolas and Octavia finally discuss things was heartwarming for you. Now that that disgusting bitchy cunt Stella was out of the picture somewhat, they could finally connect like a father and daughter should

Hell’s Safe Haven | Hellaverse Rewrite

Lenore, child of the Dawnherald, found herself compassionate for the sinners and Hellborns, forced to live pitiful lives at the hands of the Aristocracy. She decided to build a sanctuary serving as a refuge for those who needed her help the most, upon her journey she met Vaga and other important figures helping her keep the place safe. Until she stumbled on a codex when roaming around the archive of a library.

The crumbling and ashed pages still left apparent few handwritten texts and illustrations, it described how one day countless souls ascended. Upon reading it, her plan changed, if it’s indeed possible for a sinner to repent and reach Paradise, then she’ll find a way to end Exterminations and make it a symbolic moment where the righteous of Hell could finally leave and rest for eternity.

Lenore tried to read and gain more context regarding this day, but the book was particularly neglected and, either a few pages were missing or the text simply faded away.

Not sure if this has been asked before, but how would Mourningstar react if reader died? Would losing ANOTHER child finally push him past his breaking point?

Look, it can go one of two ways

(WARNING DARK DISTURBING CONTENT AHEAD! WITHOUT SPOILING TOO MUCH IM GOING TO JUST SAY DEAD DOVE AND GENOCIDE)

(Above should be a page of issue number 9 of Batgirl 2009 if I am not mistaken, i honestly dont know for sure i specifically looked up batgirl 2009 issue 9 marvin though) He doesn't see you as actually being dead. You just can't be dead. You're just tired because of the incident, or whatever it was scared you so badly that you became mute. Any smell you do or dont emit he can chalk up to your scent changing or stopping, which, while rare, can happen, but oh don't worry darling, he'll still love you and your scent, or lack thereof, no matter what. Also, don't worry about you being unable to talk anymore he'll fill the silence or just cuddle you.

Fortunately, I don't think decay works the same way for sinners in hell. Headcanon is actually that unless a body is burned or eaten, it will remain intact indefinitely. There may be some smell, or the scent might disappear completely, but it isn't completely heinous. Point is he's keeping "you" cleaned and dressed and chalking your unresponsiveness up to trauma from the incident if he stares at you long enough without blinking or looking away he can definitely see you're breathing so you're not dead. You. Can't. Be. Dead. You're obviously just too traumatized to eat, or maybe he fed you already. Ah, yes, silly Daddy, you ate your blueberry pancakes this morning because they're your favorite, and you're too full for lunch. He'll spend hours talking to you about anything and everything or just cuddling. You don't move away or anything, so he knows you like it. Everyone else, including heaven, better pray to all that is holy or unholy that he doesn't ever come out of his delusions. "You look so pretty today babygirl. I love that dress on you! The color looks so well against your skin. You look like such a doll darling. Daddy's pretty little doll~"

Heaven won't have to worry about an extermination ever again because Lucifer will purposely murder each and every sinner already in existence or those yet to fall. The pride ring will become uninhabitable to even hellborns, anyone that steps foot there will forfeit their life including Angels. If exorcist or fucking Adam come down he will slaughter them without prejudice and send their heads back to heaven as a notice that no one is welcome anymore and any deal they had was off. Snakes take over the entire ring and make short work of anyone who dares enter. He's buried you next to your sister and mother in the garden and visits every day to tell you he's gotten vengeance for you and will continue to slaughter every sinner who falls or anyone who dares enter the pride ring, he's made a veritable garden of Eden for himself and his family.

Fallen Angel Reader has some meetings that the others can't attend so asks them to stay at home for a bit.

They haven't really had time to explore the large castle since getting here. They've seen the main rooms like the kitchen, living room, a few bathrooms and their own rooms but there is so much more!

The teens find a pool room, a game room, Reader's office, a greenhouse room, one room filled with rubber ducks (though there is some in every room. they'll have to ask about that one later)

The adults just follow along calmly, happy to see their kids so excited by something so mundane.

Then they find Reader's library. It looks pretty normal (it also has a bunch of rubber ducks, Kurt presses on one's head, and it does a back flip and spits fire.) While the kids are pursuing all of the more exciting looking titles, Charles finds a few little ones that have no title, with well worn spines and handwritten script.

The first one is a bit bigger, with all of Reader's plans and ideas for when they were first building heck from the ground up. How they made the seven rings, how they made the first hellborns, how they made ...everything really. It's nice to see their little one never lost their creativity and drive.

The second one make them want to cry. It's smaller, having fewer pages. It looks like reader was trying to write down everything about the adults. Their personalities, their favorite things, stories, anything really. There is even lovingly handdrawn portrait of each of them.

Reader was worried they would start to forget about the angels in heaven they missed the most, so they made sure to write everything down. Even if they thought the adults didn't love them anymore.

Reader's note are descriptive and their sketches vivid, detailing each characteristic and remark and design with artistic precision. The older angles can't help but tear up a little looking over what Reader remembered of them and Heaven, what their favorite foods were, their favorite colors, gifts they had liked, different abilities they had, how they missed each one of them and why...

According to these notes, they MADE Heck. They brought the first hellbirn to life with their powers and ideas, constructed the seven rings, established rules and leaders and laws to protect those who eve tually joined from Earth and from the hellborns' lineages...

Some of the pages have depictions of the first sinners to come down, how overlords were given that title to help keep an eye on the Pride ring and give sinners a say in what happened, how there were several cities in that ring so each sinner type could find some peace or solace in their afterlife...

There's several drawings and even paintings of the adult angels, showing them in their full might and forms, others as they were 10,000 years ago, and some of when they themselves were young angels, from when Reader must have been rather young... They're shown in a good light, depicted as heroes and saviors and friends, not as the ones who failed Reader when they needed them most. It's almost too much to bear, knowing they still made these...

And then there's a note, scribbled in the back of their pages, fears of beings called exorcists, listed as...

As demon killers...

And now... now they're scared, of what Heaven has done to Reader, and of how bad their relationship is, that Reader treats them so coldly, as though they're enemies...

The Hellborn Pages, is a Ficto-Religon(link) based off the worlds of Hazbin Hotel & Hellva Boss shows. This can be folks who believe in the mythos found within the shows, this can be believing in the sin deadly sins, in reality it can be connected to anything in it. Those who are in The Hellborn Pages do not have a moderator or a leader rather their own experiences. Though if people wish for separate groups for each sin, angel, sinner, hellborn, etc. that is perfectly fine. (the term isn’t a queer identity, just tagged for reach due to the nature of my blog.)

Seven Deadly Sins Groups names: Pride Hellborn, Sloth Hellborn, Greed Hellborn, Lust Hellborn, Envy Hellborn, Gluttony Hellborn, and Wrath Hellborn.

I'm very curious about the Von Eldritch family

We can see some pictures of them in the background of Lucifer’s room, so it’s not like they don’t exist in the current series. In addition we also see pictures of them in the pilot and from what we can gather, they get along well with the Morningstar family or at least did.

From what’s known Charlie broke up with the brother and has a pretty hostile relationship with the sister. Though that’s practically all we know.

So, who are they and where did they come from?

From my knowledge they aren’t royalty, meaning they shouldn't be related to one of the seven sins. They also can’t be ordinary sinners, for 1. Lucifer wouldn’t associated with them and 2. They wouldn’t be able to have children.

Theme wise they are mostly green with a grey colour palette and seem to have hair reminiscent of octopus tendrils. Which doesn’t feel too odd as they seem to be inspired by eldritch horror, possibility Cthulhu.

Still though, how do they exist? Are they similar to the lineage of Stolas? Do they have any relation to that linage?

From what we’ve seen any hellborn in high power has some sort of role, like Stolas is supposed to read the stars and such. Plus it feels odd that Lucifer would be friends with just some random family that doesn’t have any significant role. As in, why would Lucifer want to associate with them? Or at least, associated with the father, Lucifer does have a happy picture of the two in his room, so it’s most likely a pretty close friendship. Probably pretty long too.

So, what is the role of the Von Eldritch family?

Are they just the embodiment of horror or something?

Are they in a part related to the cosmic evil that existed before hell was created?

Also, in other news, isn’t it odd that Alastor’s magic seems green?

We haven’t really seen characters with a lot of green. There is Zestial, though his green is more lime yellow, not exactly the green we are looking for. Though it is interesting that the oldest overlord has a colour pallet with green and not an excess amount of red.

In addition, I did find something fun, the fires of hell seem to be mostly green and do you know what burns green? Copper.

And do you know what copper represents? From the Wikipedia page of Copper: “In alchemy the symbol for copper was also the symbol for the goddess and planet Venus.”

And the fun fact of Venus is that it’s sometimes referred to as the “morning star”

I know it most likely doesn’t mean anything, but I thought it fun. Kinda like the fires of hell are representative of the Morningstar family. Like normal(red) flames don’t seem to hurt, at least it doesn’t hurt hellborns, but a flame infused with the power of the morning star is sure to leave a scar.

Oh! And as an ending note, the mothers seem to have a very similar hair style, maybe they also get along well?

How come sinners are deemed as dangerous to other rings so they’re not allowed to other rings when the hellborn has been in hell longer than them and knows their way in hell moreso than the sinners so don’t they don’t have a major advantage over the sinners?? Vivizepop being inconsistent again

For this instance, Viv isn't being inconsistent she's just poorly explaining what the fuck happens in Hell. Fortunately, but unfortunately for me, I've looked up some information on the HH wiki page in the past to get some form of explanation about that.

The Sinners in this series have powers granted to them after they become demons, and like Goetias, they can't be killed by regular weapons, just angelic ones. The Angelic Weapons killing Sinners one was never properly explained in the Hazbin Pilot, just shown that even then, there were also examples of Sinners look like they were getting killed by normal means.

An example of this is that one Sinner that got ran over by Travis at the beginning of the pilot.

So simply put it, Hellborns have been there longer, but sinners are more powerful and can't be killed by regular guns. And since not every hellborn has access to holy weapons, it can raise Hell. (pun intended)

Sparknotes version of qBads lore?

(us Ghosties have multiple thousand pages documents trying to put shit together soooo we don't know EVERYTHING about qBad but we know some backstory so I'll just give you the basics)

qBad was an angel, what type of rank we have no idea, however at some point a couple millennia ago he fell from Grace and became a fallen angel, aka, a demon, just not a hellborn one like qMrouse.

At some point after his fall he took on a job position as a Grim Reaper after training for centuries with one of many other Grim reapers

He's dropped tons of random lore bits about his life throughout time but they're not really relevant

I'm talking, shit like; he knew Darwin, he and Foolish were both in Pompeii when Vesuvius erupted (he was on vacation, he has no idea why Foolish was there), he witnessed the extinction of the dinosaurs when he was in heaven and had a hand in it, etc.

THEN he decided to take a vacation on Quesadilla Island of his own volition to take a temporary break from his Grim Reaper responsibilities since he hadn't had a break in centuries

Although he obviously got stuck on the island and oddly enough, he still didn't even manage to escape his responsibilities having canonically been the one to help Trump, Tilin, Juana, Bobby and Max cross over the river, to guide them into the spiritual plane.

Lore on the island wise, it's mostly a lot of little things but the I'll summarize the current storyline

When the eggs disappeared qBad began torturing himself with soul vultures, having them eat at him, which caused his soul to leak out of his body and decay.

During the nuke at the end of Purgatory qBad shielded Dapper with his body, tanking a nuke hit to the back since neither of them made it onto the boat on time.

This radiation rapidly increased qBads physical decay and for MONTHS Bad was walking around practically dead but was forcing himself to keep it together because he was still needed but eventually his physical body just gave out on him.

Because of this, qBad recently died and returned to the place he visits every time his physical body dies. Although this time he was given a chance to re-enter the heavens after millennia as a demon, however he chose to return to the mortal plane because he couldn't bear to leave 'the little ones' (all the eggs) alone.

As a high ranking demon qBad is able to die and come back without physical issues but every reincarnation he has to recollect his memories.

Also, fun fact, when he dies to something he comes back immune to the thing that killed him! qBad is canonically immune to decapitation (French revolution), being burnt at the stake (Salem witch trials), being drowned with his feet in cement (the mob), falling down stairs (we don't ask) and now the soul decay+radiation poisoning combo!

His current reincarnation remembers absolutely nothing of the past year, but he does have memories.

He remembers him and Foolish in somewhere similar to Egypt (the summer home), he also recognizes qPhil although hasn't specified how and remembers qCellbit from the Hunger Games which canonically happened 10 years before the island so he has memories but they're not up to date.

Sinners aren’t the only ones who can be overlords (theory)

⚠️ HAZBIN HOTEL SPOILERS ⚠️

I’m not sure if anyone else noticed this (hopefully I’m not late to this idea) but I’m pretty sure overlord status isn’t solely given to sinner demons. I'll be focusing on Rosie and Carmilla but I'm also going to include other characters for comparison sake. I'm also going to reference the Wiki page for the characters as well as things that Faustisse has said in the past while they were still working on the series. Take these with a grain of salt, this is just a theory after all, if I'm proven wrong by the show then so be it lol.

I've seen some talk in the fandom regarding not only Carmilla and her daughters but also Rosie and the residents of Cannible Town. I think the biggest thing I've seen is people being confused as to how Carmilla could have daughters since sinner demons cannot reproduce. A lot of the confusion is regarding how Carmilla could have daughters if she's a sinner given the reproduction issue. I think one of the popular theories is that Odette and Clara happened to die as adults and reunited with Carmilla in hell which makes sense if we are looking at them as sinners. However, while I was looking at the wiki page for Rosie I noticed a pattern with the other characters; their species are typically specified as more than just "demon" if applicable. For example; Moxxie, Milly, and Blitzo are all specified as "imp demons" while Alstor, Vox, and Valentino are specified as "sinner demons" showing that they are different.

(Below is screenshots of the wiki pages from each character mentioned above so you can see what I mean)

Similarly, if we look at Stolas, Charlie, and Octavia, their wiki pages have them labelled as just demons, with no specification, however, we know all three of them are hellborns.

Now I bring this up because if we look at Carmilla and her daughter's Wiki pages, they are denoted as a demon with no further specification.

If we are to take this in the same context as Stolas and Charlie, it's a fair assumption to make that they are all hellborn demons. We don't exactly know how many different subspecies of hellborns there are aside from the ones that have been shown in Helluva Boss. To quote the HH wiki describing the hierarchy, hellborn demons include "Succubi and Incubi, among other unknown demon species of Hell". Who's to say that Carmilla and her daughters aren't part of this unknown subspecies of demons? This I think could help explain how Carmilla has two daughters as a demon.

Now in episode seven, we do see that Carmilla and her daughters were attacked by exorcists. As part of the extermination deal between Lucifer and Heaven, the exorcists are not allowed to kill hellborns. If this is the case, why would the exorcists attack Carmilla? Well, there could be a few reasons. The first reason could be that the exorcists mistook Carmilla and her daughters as sinners. Who knows how much the exorcists are taught about demons and the differences between hellborns and sinners. It could be that these angels mistook them as sinners whether it be because Carmilla looks similar to other sinners, or the exorcists were just caught up in th moment and attacked and demon who passed by. We could also guess that most angels just assume that all the demons in Pride are sinners since it seems that most hellborn demons originate from other rings.

On the other hand, perhaps the exorcist just didn't care. Who knows how long Adam had been planning to move up the exterminations. Who knows how the other exorcists see the exterminations from an individual standpoint. Lute obviously has her own opinions of demons and the exterminations so who knows what the other angels feel. These could have been exorcists who didn't care about the deal. Maybe they thought because they're angles they're better than demons and could perhaps get away with killing a hellborn (the hubris am I right?)? Maybe they thought they could come up with some kind of excuse to get themselves out of it. Who knows.

In a similar vein, I've seen once or twice people on Twitter talk about how the cannibals in Cannibal Town all look relatively similar despite it being shown that sinner demons have unique demon forms (obviously with some similarities if it's between families like Angel and his brother/father for example). I think I saw one tweet suggesting that the cannibals are another subspecies of hellborns (I unfortunately only saw it in passing and don't know the user off the top of my head) and I actually think this could have some merit to it.

Jumping back to the wiki pages, if you look at Rosie's page she also has the "demon" title without any sort of additional specification. Already this matches with what I mentioned at the very beginning regarding Charlie and Stolas. Faustisse also mentions that Rosie didn't die (it's included in Rosie's trivia section) alluding to the idea that she is, in fact, a hellborn demon.

Likewise, while I was looking at the wiki page for Cannibal Town, I noticed this little gem in the trivia section. I think it's safe to assume that the reason all of the cannibal demons look the same/similar is that they are just another subspecies of demons native to Pride. This, again, can explain how there are children in Cannibal Town despite sinners not being able to reproduce; none of them are actually sinners.

Now why do I bring this up? Well for two reasons; one it's just kind of cool to know that sinners aren't the only demons who can potentially gain overlord status. This means that, in theory, other hellborns could also gain higher status if they can make deals and collect souls. There is actually a good chunk of overlords that aren't specified as sinners, such as Velvette and Zestial alongside Carmilla and Rosie. As far as I can tell only Alastor, Vox, and Valentino are sinner demon overlords (we could also include Husk if we take into account that he used to be an overlord before the events of the show). This is just a cool little detail that I didn't catch at first that could end up being important or not important at all later in the show. And again, it can also show that those in the lower ranks of the hierarchy could potentially move up in status, not just the sinners.

The second reason I am bringing up this theory is that it adds another layer to Alastor's plan during the finale. So in the last episode, Alastor brings Charlie to Rosie to ask for assistance in fighting Adam. Now on the surface, we could read into this as Alastor knows Rosie will help because they're friends and he knows she'd be willing to support Charlie. This did likely play a part in why Alastor chose to go to Rosie.

However, if the cannibals are hellborns then perhaps he thought that the hotel would get some kind of win no matter what happened. I mentioned before that as part of the agreement for the exterminations to happen the exorcists can't kill hellborns. Perhaps Alastor took into account that with the cannibals around, the angels would have a harder time getting to the hotel as they would be trying to avoid killing demons that they aren't allowed to kill. This would allow the others more chances to sneak in and kill the exorcists while they're distracted.

On the other hand, he could have assumed that if the exorcists or Adam didn't care about the deal anymore then they would get in major trouble with the rest of Heaven for killing the cannibals. One way or another the Hotel is getting some kind of upper hand in the fight regardless; either they have a way to distract the angles or they put the angels in a position where they get in trouble later.

I tried looking back in the episode to see if any of the cannibals actually died and I couldn't see any. Perhaps it was just for the ease of animating or because it wasn't a huge focus in the battle so the effect the battle had on the cannibals just wasn't shown. Though, if I had to guess since Lucifer didn't show up until after Dazzle died and Charlie was in real trouble then none of the cannibals were injured or killed.

Overall I just think this is kind of a cool theory that I think adds some depth to the characters and/or their actions. Again, this is also just a fan theory so please don't take it as gospel. If anyone on the Hazbin team comes out and expands more on the cannibals and Carmilla that completely contradicts this then it is what it is! This was just something that I noticed today while I was working on a different Hazbin post and I had to write it somewhere lol.
