“i love you.”

sway of leaves, tips touching the glass. soot dusting the shelves, worn covers and pages left open. muted shades of a home a comfort. in the living room, wherein tinted shards of glass swallows the light in colors, it paints a myriad of shades onto you. and yet, it all fades into the background, a scenery, as the book in your hand weighs a bit lighter than it was a second ago; his words to the air weigh heavier than the ones in hand.

“…huh?”

his eyes turn to his side, on you, taking in any and every feature of yours to read any reaction - he didn’t need to look , with how close the two of you are, he could feel the warmth radiating from you. the quiet that you once enjoyed seemed to stretch on for what felt like an eternity.

“wait, wait. like as in like or…”

“is there another definition i should be aware of?”

the book in his hand slowly closes to a shut, a small bookmark tucked in the pages. the words printed onto there, words of one’s perspective out of the many fragments of the whole, falls for naught in this moment in particular.

“i love you, [name]. what i feel for you goes beyond the confinement of someone i see as, no less, a companion. i enjoy your company more than i expect to, i find myself thinking of you throughout points of the day despite of no reason to, among others, your voice had always stood out—”

“alhaitham.”

“—as well as wondering for your well-being whenever i have yet to see you for the day. on that note, when we do occasionally cross paths, i’d find myself in a state of tranqu—”

“stop.”

he does. the light hides little, and he sees how you try to hide yourself in your hands, not letting him see a bit of the look you’re wearing right now. but it’s obvious. if anything, it might as well be an open secret between the two of you with how his gaze subtly softens. those eyes you’ve always been drawn to, since the moment you’ve seen him, sees you and alone.

“…i love you too.”

“i thought as much.”

“would it kill you to be a bit more romantic?”

he hums. no later, he leans in and presses his lips against your temple. the surge of happiness that followed that small peck only made you to cave into yourself further. in some distant part, you’ve heard him say, “is that alright with you?”

dainsleif.

red petals swaying, akin to windmills. a draft of wind drifting in the air. a quiet aria that floats aloft aimlessly (one neither you or him can catch.) from the tower, though careful, you found yourself sitting on a jagged edge of the walkway, ivy and moss slithering among the cracks of the walls. your fingers felt the rough surface for a few moments, taking it all in alongside with him. the cold in the air isn’t the same as him - a familiar touch, there was, to him with all the time you’ve been with him.

and too much familiarity has you lulled into a state of comfort and unconsciousness. he’s noticed that as he sees you away fro and to, toppling. his hand hovers over your head, lightly pressing it against his shoulder as some sort of stability - or a pillow, whichever you prefer. there’s a tension in his fingers, nearly trembling, as it touches you, as if not used to this (and he isn’t.)

it burns. his fingertips burns.

“…there is no need for me to stay,” he murmurs, words faint in the name of the wind, “and i am aware of that as much as you are. there is nothing that roots me to this land - no relation, no matter of emotional connection… other than you.”

“time again, i am reminded how i live beyond the constant flow of time. something fleeting is but a dream. and you’ve given me a many; these moments with you… feels akin to a dream. none that asks for a endless life, a demise - simply a life with you.”

“i… i love you.” he looks at you. the air brushes your hair (in a way he yearns to as of late.)

“i love you more than i should.”

diluc.

soft shafts of sunlight rousing awake at the dot of the horizon. mahogany handrails bearing years of use. a pair of birds chirping, a string of song. the rails held you still as you stare at the skies, a melting harmony of rose and gold, always something of a sight that stole your breath away. it felt even better, framed by his presence, waves of his warmth wafting over to you. the slight wisps of wind tousled his hair, more of a mess than it already was, as he soaks in the touch of dawn once more (and yet again.)

and underneath your eyes does he slowly lose his composure, bit by bit. do

“you know,” your voice lifted the soft silence in the air, “i like watching these types of sunrises, i’ll say that… but any other reason you woke me up this early and dragged me here?”

“ah…” he shifts his gaze from yours, all curious, all seeing. he coughs into his fist, trying to clear his throat of all the tension. “i suppose my methods were a bit… unorthodox. in fact, yes, there is.”

“oh?” you lift your head up, just enough to look at him. you didn’t notice how close the two of you were together, and so you nearly touched the tip of his nose with his. “oh—”

he stays silent. his skin, as pale as it is, flared into a shade as red as his hair is, to the point that you don’t know where he starts or ends. he opens his mouth and closes it, the amount of times he did lost on you, and ended up biting his lip. there’s a bit of hesitation in every little thing he did, a stiffness, as he blows out a puff of air.

“hey, diluc?” you tilt your head, and as you stare at him with those eyes of yours, he feels as though it truly was the last straw. “do you need anyt—”

“i love you.”

your breath caught in your throat as much as his did. once again, a silence hangs, and yet, a quiet question and an unsaid answer remains in the air. he’s avoiding any contact with you, rather content in just staring at his fingers, biting into the wood of the handrails to the point of leaving marks.

“i… i— wait, what?”

he winces. so do you and you try again. “i mean… diluc, can you say that again? please?”

the seconds stretch on. it didn’t seem as though he’ll say anything, alright with the way his confession coalesces with the sun-kissed vines and barrels. and then he did. “i love you, [name]. always had, always will.”

“if it’s not too much for me to say, then… i’ve always appreciated how you stood beside, even when i’ve, on multiple occasions, attempted to push you away for your own good. a light that never yielded - the one thing that didn’t change.”

“and i’ve admired you for that. soon, that admiration turned into adoration with every single thing you do, and it had only grown from there.”

his cheeks cooled down a bit, yet still held some red in it. “of course, this is simply how i feel. whether you share this or n—”

“i do.”

he spun his head to you, and met eyes that held the same, if not more, adoration as his. the epitome of your feelings in your words as you said, “i love you too, diluc. always had, always will.”

scaramouche.

nature of the night surrounding the two of you. waves ebbing and flowing, foam rolling in. reflection of a moon rippled in the eye. he digs his hands into the sand, feeling the particles lost on his skin and, if anything, to numb the air nipping at him. he feels your eyes on his, eerily similar to the sea - calm, silent. patient. he folds his fingers, nails biting into the palm of his hands to etch in the feelings, thoughts, that kept a home in him a bit longer than he’d like.

“you know,” he says, “never in all the years have i existed did i think there was room for something futile.”

“i’m starting to wonder what isn’t futile in your eyes.”

“not the point.”

“agree to disagree.” there’s a smile in your voice - not that he has to see it, he just hears it and it’s enough for him. “but i’ll shut up. go on.”

“as i was saying,” he sighs, as if to let go of that air trapped in his throat, “you’re well aware of all the connections i’ve made, and that it all didn’t end as some happily ever after either like those stories.”

“again and again did the world tell me that i’m not worth the love of a family, a friend, let alone… someone more.”

from the corner of his eye, he sees you perk up at those last few words. like a small dollop of fire swallowed in the dark - a hope. and he looks to you, seeing you in your whole as you did just a few moments ago. he’d look at you in a particular way, maybe, as he watch your eyes widen just slightly, and that small light in you flickers to life.

you didn’t give yourself that hope though, you refuse to. this is him you’re talking about. the fact that you’re even here right now next to him because he asked you to was a miracle in and of itself. you’re as close to him as you’re alright with, and didn’t wish to cross this line that was so far away when you’ve met him - you didn’t want to feel far from him.

he opens his mouth, and with a voice dripping with hesitation, he says, “and you defy the world simply by being with me. everything you say, think, do - it’s as if you’re against fate itself, the very fate that ties us all together, whether we like it or not. that’s why i like you.”

his next words drips with a tenderness you seldom hear from him (up to this point.) “that’s why i love you.”

xiao.

lanterns lit, dotted across like stars. a bittersweet scent of incense clings to him. blades of grass crunching beneath any shift of movement. away from the life of the last few hours, the sun just shy of sleeping, the greetings of lofty shadows followed the two of you along the path to a place familiar, a step closer to home, if anything. since then, with little to o space within you and him, the times your hands grazed sending a static each and every time (the same with the slight blush touching his cheeks.)

“[name].”

a soft call of your name tugged you out of your thoughts. when you set your gaze on him, he stares back to you - feelings that you can’t put a name to coalescing. you see him open and close his mouth many times, the words at the tip of his tongue, and simply not taking form the way he wants them to. it’s cute, if anything, and as it continues, you couldn’t help the small smile that came to your lips.

there’s a small voice in the back of your head that tells you what, but it quickly quietens when his fingers brushes the back of your hand yet again. this time, he twines with yours. the cold presence of his glove sends a shiver to you - a rather pleasant one. from that, it’s as if he’s found the words.

“i… i am fond of you.” his eyes flits to yours. “more than i have intended. than i realized. at some point, in some time, your presence, your very existence, became… irreplaceable. something that i come to look forward to. and… the thought of not seeing you, even if for a day…”

his hand tightens its hold on yours.

“i am aware of how selfish this request is, and that i am not worthy for someone like you - that there is someone else that is capable of cherishing you - but… if you’ll let me have this, at the very least…”

you feel the pad of his thumb brush the back of your hand in slow, simple circles, whether to soothe you or himself. who knows? only that the touch sent a smile to you. you carried his hand to yours, and his questioning eyes widened just slightly when he feels your lips graze his knuckles in a feather-light touch.

“and i’m fond of you as well, xiao.”

he huffs, and turns his head the other way. the few streaks of sunlight held him in such softness, and coalesced along with the shade of his irises in a warm tandem.

So the new helluva boss episode 💀

The Millie arc was nice, but felt forced in. After the numerous complaints about her this episode's arc of her felt shoved in like to say "there see we giving you something about Millie now shut up". Idk it was nice but forced at the same time.

Barbie was really bìtchy like all of Viv's female "villian" characters she felt like Versosika 2.0. And I'm sorry and no offense to her VA but Barbie's voice sounds like Nails on a chalkboard, was really annoying to me personally especially since she has the stereotypically bitchy personality too.

Now my main gripe with the episode was how she didn't want to see Blitz again, with good reason he ruined her life in whatever way but ABSOLUTELY HATED how Blitz was painted in relation to this. How *he* now wants to help her, how *he's* remorseful and sorry after what happened between them and it clearly hurt Barbie to the point she resents him so much she doesn't want to see him but the audience must feel sorry for Blitz regardless of the fact that HE hurt her, like fuck off I don't feel sorry for him.

I don't feel sympathy for him. He stalked her at the rehab, came in illegally through the window of the rehab, berated the staff there threatening to kill them, harassed and assaulted other demons to give him info about her/access to earth via asmodean crystals and stalked her online via her socials.

I don't give a rats ass how much he wants to make amends with her, he's a disgusting being thats abusive/destructive, knows no boundaries and invalidates Barbie's feelings and desire to not be associated with him at all. That's not caring about someone so fuck off with this narrative the writers are trying to paint about him being so sad 😔 Barbie is this way to him, he's just trying to help he is a good brother see he's remorseful and tried everything to get through to her even though she doesn't forgive him nor wants him anywhere near his life. I just know the fans are gonna hate on Barbie, doesn't help Viv gave her a bitchy personality and have the VA give her a bitchy voice.

Whoo, anyhow positives. The animation was nice, good backgrounds and such.

Closing negatives. Millie and Moxxie didn't need to dress up as different genders, or have Moxxie in drag/millie in butch clothing. Which lead to 🙂🙂🙂🙂 ANOTHER FUCKING INCEST JOKE, like I'm done I'm tired, wtf is it with the incest jokes, 1st it was weird vines between Stella and her brother and now this. I just know the fetishists in this fandom are going to have a field day with this episode because 😀😀 Viv is handing them this disgusting content on silverware.

My problem with 1-A is the way they do nothing about Bakugo’s treatment of Izuku.

I mean, this guy fired an attack on their other classmate, with All Might outright saying it could have killed him, but this doesn’t stop people, like Kirishima, from wanting to befriend him. They at least acknowledge that he has a horrible personality (they used to, anyway), but that’s as far as it goes. Katsuki hits and berates Izuku, sometimes in front of them, and they do nothing.

They either genuinely don’t realize how bad Bakugo’s behavior really is despite the evidence being right in front of them, which would make them idiots. Or, they do realize how bad it is, but still don’t stop it despite training to be heroes, which would make them jerks.

I know that they are mostly just glorified background characters who were lucky to have gotten any spotlight at all, but it’s still frustrating.

Yeah. As much as I like 1A for the most part, them just looking like "😀" while Bakugou is screaming his head off at Izuku for existing tends to really turn me off of them.

I like to headcanon that because Bakugou's strong and talented, he still looks like hero material to them even though he's a dick. Similarly to how the public idolized Endeavor despite him being known for being unfriendly. Although, Endeavor also wasn't public with his verbal or physical abuse. But my thought process is that the people in MHA think that strength=heroism. It's the only way I can justify 1A's indifference in my head

Hello! It’s me again :) what do you think of how protective Jesper is of Wylan in all the background shots during the last few episodes? I wish we had gotten a little more focus on some of that hurt/comfort stuff.

Hello there! 😊 First of all, sorry for the delay with answering: it was a 'no laptop phone only' situation for the past couple of days, so I had to wait for the return of the comforts of two-handed typing:)

Oh, background Wesper my beloved!

On the one hand, as a fan of these two characters, both separately and as a couple, I do wish for more of their interactions to have been in the spotlight. Yet, on the other hand, I get why they weren`t for the last two episodes: the plot was packed, a lot of points needed to be resolved etc. Actually, the fact that Wesper were put in the background just confirms what a power they are charisma- and chemistrywise! They`d grab too much audience`s attention with more focus on them😀. Anyways, here`s to the hope for the SoC spinoff! I`m pretty sure it will deliver marvellously on the H/C stuff: at least, emotional one - maybe physical as well.

As for the protectiveness of their relationship - I`m positively feral about it, honestly. And one of the most wonderful things about it is just how natural it looks. It`s llke they were made to be close - to protect, comfort and cherish each other. Jesper has finally found a partner who wants him as a whole, not just for his looks, charm or swagger; Wylan has finally found a ray (I`d say a whole stream) of sunshine in the gloomy dampness of Ketterdam - and in the form of one very sexy and very affectionate sharpshooter no less. So it`s no wonder each of them wants to protect the precious thing he`s got.

In the department of physical protectiveness Jesper`s stands out more - since between the two of them he`s more of a fighter: bigger, stronger, more experienced (although let`s not forget 'Wylan jump' back in Ep2, when he tried to get the guy who was strangling Jesper to let go). As far as the emotional protectiveness goes - they both give as good as they get. Pretty much every Jesper`s move, every touch of his where Wylan is concerned screams 'Are you okay? Let me protect you. Let me comfort you' (prime expample being the way Jesper immediately starts caressing Wylan`s arm in the deleted scene after Wylan admits to Ketterdam never feeling like home to him). Wylan`s protectiveness is of a more passive kind, but it is very much there (I`m planning to touch on this topic in one of my next rambles😉).

To sum it up, these two are killing me. If they keep this up, this might just be the first death by relationship goals in history - though I sincerely doubt I`ll be alone in that:)

this would be a canon-verse post-Scarif mutual pining fic. maybe spanning a couple of years, from Scarif to Hoth. everybody knows they love each other, everybody has tried to make them admit it, nobody has succeeded. they're too afraid to risk it, too afraid to make it real by speaking it aloud, too afraid to lose it. they're way too good at compartmentalizing and pushing it away, way too good at always being in control. so years pass, several missions, injuries, close calls take place. they always keep a tight rein on their emotions.

it'd take something huge to snap them out of it. I'm kinda blanking on the reason now, but I imagine it'd be a big explosive fight, the kind they don't normally have, one of those arguments that are like "why would you do that?!" "because I love you!" (I guess maybe one of them risked their lives and nearly got killed for the other or something?) and whoops, now it's out there. the room is dead silent. after repressing and hiding it for so long, it's real now. tangible, hanging in the air between them. the one who blurted it out is all awkward and flustered, wishing for the ground to swallow them whole, while the other is blinking rapidly in shock, unable to believe their ears. (somewhere in the background the rest of Rogue One share a meaningful look that says "can you believe these fools?")

the one that confessed mutters a quiet apology and turns away, and the other finally snaps out of it and grabs their hand. "did you mean that?" "of course I did." "for how long?" "ever since... ever since Scarif." and the other one gets really shy and whispers, "me too."

they grin at each other like idiots, still a little awkward but blindsided by this sudden unexpected joy, until Bodhi clears his throat behind them and goes, "you know we're still here, right?" (they did not)

Jyn glares but she doesn't seem as scary when she's blushing, and Cassian clears his throat awkwardly, grabs her hand and drags her away somewhere private where they can talk some more. and make out. after all, they have a lot of years to make up for.

I’m quite new in the BG3 fandom, and since begging I always saw everyone taking about the betrayal. Was it ever like an interview? Why are we so sure there’s gonna be this big awful betrayal?/genuine

But aside from that, everyone keep saying it’s obvious Astarion gonna be the one who is backstabber. “You think it’s zevran but he’s not, he’s evil” I always read and finally I played and watched every option that there is and… he is literally like zevran story? I’m staring to believe people forgot how awful zevran was a t the begging? If you had low friendship with him he literally ridiculed you. He liked killing, he was approving the worst decision. He heard Bhelen is awful and went “oh that’s what we need. Not someone nice. We need an asshole”. He can be talked into selling slaves and not give you the slightest dissaproval. “Astarion was always evil and he’s not telling you the whole truth” like zevran having fun murdering everyone and literally torturing his lover? People also say, Astarion is only using his charm to get to you, it’s just a power play, and like.. it’s also the same for zev story?

I know it’s two different games and two different characters with kinda similar backstory, but still not the same. But I saw a lot of people using these arguments as impossible to change, as the story would not allow romance with characters like this and they started using the argument “it’s not zevran” so I needed to say well I don’t see it

Also I don’t think Astarion will betray us simply because it would be boring and if they decided to do it, even if we have high approval or/and romance than it would feel cheap and predictable and seeing devs other works I expect much more from them. But that’s just my thoughts from someone quite new and not familiar that much with it. I just expected Astarion to be much bigger red flag considering what fandom is saying. What do you think? Am I just and idiot who’s not seeing the bigger picture? Or those that make some sense

I started playing BG3 in April 2021 and since then I have seen countless posts and comments on Astarion's inevetable betrayal. It seems to me that people only see the vampire, and he has to be bad/evil and full of betrayal because vampires are the most evil & dispicable creatures in DnD. We don't know what he was like pre-vamp,a possible corrupt Magistrate, his background is not yet set in stone until full release.

I don't see him as a backstabber. I do think Astarion's using his charms at first , but seems to soften and seems more genuine as you progress with him. When you agree to let him bite you he seems surprised. He seems so genuine & soft in his mirror scene, and scar reading scene. His facial expressions give him away, for me at least.

I have seen alot of comparissions to him & Zevran. Yes they are both Rouges who enjoy killing but I don't see it. Zervan was not a good person either. Zevran in the end found a purpose and place at the Warden's side , epecially if he was romanced, and I can see the same being said with Astarion.

There is so much to Astarion and it's hard to speculate on a character that isn't complete yet but I go off of what I see and expereince in-game. For betrayal he is way too obvious and someone who is always on edge doesn't scheme or plan things out.

I agree with your point there regarding how obvious, predictable, boring it would be regardless of how we progress our storyline with him would be stupid of Larian, which I don't beleive they would do but then again who knows, but they do seem to understand how popular he is.

For me , Astarion is not a red flag. It's far easier for you to betray him than for him to betray you. You can stake him during the bit scene, turn him over to the Gur Hunter. Many seem to hate/dislike him because he kills you during the bite scene. It's his first time drinking from a humanoid so what do they expect.

So like, the idea I had was all post series, Cybertron restored, everyone’s back home, the fighting is over.

Except for Team-E, which unfortunately, doesn’t actually have a lot of info on the Wiki. It was meant to be a reference to another show but also lead into their own Show crossovers (ironic huh?) but that never went anywhere so there’s nothing but a blank slate for me to use. 😀

Team-E is Jack, Miko, Raf, agent fowler, Ratchet and I think Mrs. Darby. There’s probably a whole bunch of other Military and government officials part of it too but they’re never shown or mentioned.

The big idea I have is Team-E handles the cover up of things that shouldn’t be public knowledge, Like team Prime’s existence and what not.

If part of @princess-of-the-corner Crossover AU, this could also extend to anything that is a little too out there or too private for the public to know. Like say… leaked hero identities or massive wakes of destruction done by a villain if necessary.

But they also handle rogue Decepticons that are hiding out on earth still. While it’s mainly a capture, detain, erase evidence of all involvement type deal, they’re can be some… suspicious damages left behind so the most suspicious people know something is going on

But I also had the idea of MECH restarting again and Team-E has to deal with them. Granted MECH was killed off in the show but nothings stopping me from saying some people were elsewhere when Cylus murdered his top scientists and followers.

So they’re trying to get any Cybertronian for experimentation and doing it so VERY fucking secretly.

So you’ve got Team-E VS MECH war happening in the background of everyone’s lives but no-one fucking knows, at all. Not a soul.

I was thinking for the big reveal to the public, would go along the lines of MECH tracking down a Decepticon down to Paris but this Con is hiding within the busy streets so getting them sneakily is near impossible.

MECH decides to say “Fuck it” and go public, if they bag the Con in public they can claim all sort of heroisms that would paint them positively to the world.

Team Miraculous does try to step in cause “Obviously it’s an Akuma” and almost get wiped cause Cons are dangerous, MECH is deadly (and would love to get the miraculous too) and they’re not trained to deal with this.

Team-E decides that they A) can’t allow MECH to get the Con B) Can’t allow MECH to get the miraculous C) Can’t allow the Con to escape in the chaos

So they send their strongest member.

Miko Nakadai, Under the Name: Princess Tungstena (Cause, secret identities)

I had this idea of the Kids wearing helmet made by ratchet that looked like their old Autobot partners. So Miko would be wearing a Green helmet that looks like BulkHead but I realise that’s not enough protection for kids in training going against Cybertronians and MECH, so I’ll probably give them full body suits and armour cause, why not?

I’ll still need to figure everything out.

So Miko pops in through a ground bridge (Earth range teleportation device for anyone who hasn’t watched the show.) and just, wreaks face. Con? KO’d. MECH? Running for the hills. Secret? Out.

Paris is left to watch this 14ft+ tall armoured girl drag the unconscious body of a 19ft+ Robot through a portal without a word said (She doesn’t speak French) and then, Poof, they’re gone.

So Team-E would kinda be the gears in the cog that keeps things secret but now everyone knows that Team-E exists… to an extent.
