Or accidentally going into the desert, like maybe chasing something or trying to get something, IDK, anyway they go to the desert and meet Candace and/or Dehya! Kaveh was having a fun time. He was just waking about, doing… work… and now there is a tiger behind him :)

… wait.

HOLY SHIT THERE WAS A TIGER BEHIND HIM-

The way Kaveh would scream and leap into the air like a cartoon-

Instead of attacking him you would nuzzle against him and he’d just??? Stand there??? Like “Wtf”????

Honest to the Archons this man has been on his feet all day, hasn’t had a LICK of alcohol in under 30 minutes, he’s tired, so?

He gently pushes your haunches, then your front legs, and lays against your staying form. Nap time :).

Alhaitham has seen a lot in his day. Fought a lot in his day.

But to see his roommate. Cuddled with one of the top causes of death in Sumeru? Yeah you narrowly avoided that sword.

After a little while however (and a mix of you bringing them their work items… and food… and water man these boys can’t take care of themselves-) you were able to gain their trust and now yay! You’re the official house pet of Alhaitham and Kaveh good job!

You run about town with satchels on your haunches and a couple on your legs and pick up things for the house when they can’t (be bothered too-) or when they’re too busy! You also clean… and cook.. omg they’re hopeless honestly.

On more than one occasion you’ve had to lead Kaveh back home when he got drunk, and then you did the same for Alhaitham when he passed out after working for nearly a week no stops somehow. Jesus-

You’re basically their parent at this point. But you get head pats from everyone and babies no longer cry at your presence sooo…. All is well!

The canvas is pretty crowded but I’m happy with it. I had to miniaturize some creators though, cuz some were too large

I love those rough pencils, man

Also I didn’t realize the tiger creator was probably supposed to be a normal tiger until I finished

Wolflord had to go mini and pop up from a portal to fit lol, and the hydra was sentenced to a bucket. I’m so creative :) melusine was hardest to draw because of ELBOWS wait I take that back, the weasel was hardest-I could never get it right

Overall I’m confident about this drawing 😊

anyone who follows me on other platforms has prolly seen me raving about these plush backpacks like a little madman for the past.. 8? months? basically ever since i got my backpacks from series 1! i initially snatched up cloud dragon and chiffon fox from the campaign, but ended up adding to my collection with raspberry red panda as well..

today i'm bringing my ravings to tumblr bc they have just launched series 2 a couple days ago, and are working hard to get all the designs funded!! 💖

if you like adorable animals and plush backpacks these guys will be perfect for you, they're really spacious and high quality! this second series has some of my favourite designs so far! just look at the minty green dragon and the alert-eared jackalope.. not to mention the looooooong-legged maned wolf!

i've had so much fun wearing my series 1 guys outside, i practically don't go anywhere without them anymore bc it's nice to have a little soft friend with me who will carry my purse, water bottle, shopping bag and other essentials for me. :'3c a lot of people have found them charming too, and i get complimented a surprising amount! ✨ (which, rare, because most people in finland generally avoid talking to strangers lmao) all the lovely photos on this post i stole from the backerkit page btw, i wish i could take cute pics of my lads too but alas! i live in gloomy murky finland and for some reason we don't even have that much snow in JANUARY this year?? i want to take cute snowy photos..

The three men stared at you as you curled around Nahida and Paimon.

“Alhaitham what do?-“

“Nothing Traveler. Just let them have this.”

Kaveh had no shame as he slithered into a crack that wasn’t taken up by your new babies.

Now it was only Traveler and Alhaitham who stood.

Aether could hear the muffled cries of Paimon, screaming at him to get her out, but Nahida was quiet. Taking a harder look at her, the blonde realized she had fallen asleep in your fur.

Just like Kaveh, you had just literally passed out as soon as he hit your backside.

You moved around, making sure not to jostle Nahida or Kaveh, and moved Paimon into your front most paws, before gently licking at her head.

“AHHHHH!! GET IT OFF PAIMON!!!” The floating child screeched.

Aether only chuckled.

“They must think your emergency food as well, Paimon.” He mused. The fairy only looked incredulously at her travel buddy.

Then you huffed and also looked up incredulously. You pressed a paw to your chest and stared with the most offended face a Tiger cold make. Aether flinched while Alhaitham smirked a little. He turned away to hide his smile, however.

“They don’t think Paimon is emergency food.” Paimon said smugly. Alhaitham finally spoke up.

“They’re grooming you.”

“Huh?”

“Grooming. Most commonly Rishboland Tigers only ever groom their cubs or other members of their ambushes as shows of affection and care. To be groomed by an our Rishboland Tiger is them essentially welcoming them to our strike. In common terms, they see you as their child, or someone they wish to care for.” As Alhathim finished his monologue, the duo stared at him before Aether made a noise of discontent.

“How come they don’t want to groom me?” He has a childish frown on his face which made Paimon laugh.

“Perhaps if you go up to them, they will take you in as well?” Alhaitham mused.

“Fine then.” Aether then walked towards you, only to be swatted away by a paw.

“WHAT THE-“

“Ah. It seems they’ve taken offense to your claims of Paimon being “emergency food”, Traveler.” Aether just stood in silence as Paimon’s laughed only grew in volume.

Alhaitham simply shook his head at the sight of you immediately going back to grooming Paimon. He walked over and sat down next to you, resting his head on your shoulder.

You stopped grooming the child to look at him, then you looked at Aether. He flinched before you chuffed. Hesitantly he walked over, but you showed no hostility.

He walked to the other side of you and lied his body next to you, curling into your side. After you heard his breaths slow, you lay you head down next to the passed out and snoring Paimon.

You smiled as you closed your eyes with your little strike surrounding you.

…

… Nahida glanced up at you with a small twinkle in her eyes.

“It seems the Irminsul truly was right. It is an honor to have you back, my Creator.”

And with that, she pushed her face into your plush fur, and fell into a well deserved slumber.

Sorry it took so long to make this, I was busy with personal stuff.

You might notice that it is... considerably longer than the original. I do tend to get carried away with these things. I honestly can't say if I like this version more or less than the original.

I'm not that great a writer but I still wanted to get this out there after I promised I would do it and because I felt like I could improve on my old work with my new knowledge. I am also never promising anything like this anymore for my sake.

Like… do you know that most of the gods… most of the gods are Egyptian (gods commonly had animal heads), or Chinese (gods and figures commonly were animals or plants), or Greek (gods commonly turned into animals)

He had seen a lot in his day. He had seen so many stupid people in his time as a ranger. Eating mushrooms they couldn’t and touching flowers they shouldn’t. But to be hearing this out of someone who he considered a pretty decent person? Maybe even a friend (if he strained the term)?

Was absolutely ridiculous!

His gaze was then sent to the Tiger in question who was… reading a book? It’s claw tracing gently down the page as if not to ruin it??

His confused gaze must’ve been noticed by Kaveh because the man then looked in that same direction.

“Oh yeah… they like reading. They’ve even begun to write!”

THEY CAN READ???? THEY CAN WRITE??????? A RISHBOLAND TIGER??????????

Tighnari looked incredulously at his friend(?), jaw hanging open. His entire body was shaking in disbelief at the wild peice of information the blonde in front of him had dropped. This animal that has shown nothing but hostility to humans and hybrids alike… WAS READING AND WRITING???

“Oh and if you think thats neat they can even cook and clean!”

Kaveh was going to be the death of Tighnari.

“They even cooked a fourteen course dinner with one dish and one dessert from even nation because I had finally gotten a commission! Isn’t that just so nice of them?”

Yep. Tighnari had to be dead.

Okay, so, I'm not even sure how earnest I am about this, but .. we all know how, usually, movies and tv-shows and such are rated for their potential sexual &/ violent content, right? That there exist these phrases like "approved for all audiences" or "viewer discretion advised" ..

and the one thing where I always thought they should post trigger warnings but never did were nature&/animal documentaries, because of my arachnophobia .. like I've got zero problems with snakes or crocodiles or sharks, but show me a spider and I'd get a jump scare so bad that I'd accidentally throw snacks across the room or choke on&/spit out my drink

please note: this is not an invite for y'all to post pictures of spiders in the comments and give me a minor heart attack

anyway, I just thought, maybe there should exist a similar rating system for content with anthropomorphic animals, like, inform viewers above 16/14/12 whatev, that there'll be anthro characters, especially if they've got attractive personalities, because it is seriously ridiculous how attracted I am to some fictional (animated) animals and shifters and I'd like some warning next time, please and thank you, it's already enough with humanoid aliens and androids
