I found out that you enjoy the Oz series which is a coincidence because I've been into the Oz series myself. It's my favorite book novel and I enjoy reading the books to my sister. Right now I'm reading the Scarecrow of Oz.

What you said is one of the main reasons why I enjoy the series.

And I quote "The fantastical nature of it all. I love little journey-adventure stories where it's completely impossible to predict what you're going to encounter next and what's about to happen. I love fairytale logic and silly little conversations and Baum's charming descriptions that are only outdone by the beautiful illustrations."

This is exactly why I like the series.

The different characters, the different worlds, and the little lessons it gives out. Also there's always a wholesome ending to look forward to.

I am obsessed with Tula. The last five minutes of tonight's episode just cemented for me that everything about her comes down to the fact she never got to mourn Geoffrey.

Even if she did bust a cap in him. Even if he did have it coming. She never was allowed to let him go.

She went from being annoyed and concerned about her husband's dangerous behavior regarding the Blue and monsters to becoming a single mother of two children and living entirely for them--

--just as her sister meets and marries a man who is a lot like Geoffrey.

It's so clear that Tula wants Thorn to be nothing like Geoffrey for Viola. Hearing that he completely supports Viola's ambitions has to just eat her up with jealousy and grief.

This family is so fucking good at saying things without saying them and Viola does not want to be trapped the way she thinks Tula is trapped.

And her mom is trying to get her to marry again? Every male stoat Ava points out to Tula is just another pale image of Geoffrey. Even Bennett. Especially Bennett.

Of course Tula fundamentally lies to her children. It's constant. Everything is so focused on making sure they are physically and emotionally safe.

So what's going to happen when Lila can finally see that the mother she trusts so much is hiding something fundamental? And will she forgive her?

my god. guys. just gotta scream about some medical stuff for a second. you know how i've been ill for quite some time. like really nastily ill. bizarre migraines, constant fatigue/joint pain, awful depressive mood swings? well, alongside some proper migraine meds, my doctor prescribed me vitamin D tablets. and the black cloud is gone. the fatigue is gone. the pain is gone. what!!!!!!!! 😭😭😭 this reinforces my belief that vitamin/mineral deficiencies can be extra insidious for neurodivergent folks because we're so used to ignoring our pain, and our difficulties with eating a wide range of foods/getting outside enough/breaking our routine/etc. set us up to be deficient!! 💔

to be clear, my doctor and the NHS say that folks in my country ought to be taking vitamin D supplements during the winter months anyway. it's actually mandated for everyone and i had no idea. just. enormous relief. getting my bloods done in a couple of weeks to confirm, but i wasn't expecting such an immediate effect 😳 so if anyone's been feeling unusually fatigued, sick, with disturbed menstrual cycles, migraines and moodswings, and there's no underlying cause...see if you can get your bloods checked, and consult with your doctor. especially if you're ND/get less sunlight/have a restricted diet!!!!

eridan in a domestic setting can get VERY fussy and dote-y if he's given the space to be. how overbearing he can get with it entirely depends on if sollux feels like shit (reserved and considerate doting) or if he just feels off (no eridan, sollux doesn't need you pull out all the stops and run him a perfect bubble bath; yes eridan, he knows where the vitamins are in the cabinet)

sollux is sometimes tactile with eridan through his psionics; he'll "hold" eridans hand from across the room, send a little harmless spark of power like its a kiss on the cheek, etc. sometimes sollux just rotates him like he's a 3D model for fun, lmao.

if the au theyre in leads them to play a ttrpg, nine times out of ten the characters they play will get together or develop some sort of romantic undertones with each other, no matter if it was originally intended or not, no matter if theyre actually together yet or not. it's starting to become a notable pattern for my aus, and its fun every time LOL.

they both have sticks up their asses about their own personal aesthetics, which makes them both PERFECT for being able to show the other something and go "this specific part of this reminded me of you" and it works every time. its all "this 5 second section in the song sounds like you as a person" and "i know you could use this concept better if you did it instead" and "you would NOT own this but the colors still made me think of you" and they're right every fucking time. and they both either get smug at being so good at knowing the other or so relieved at being able to rely on the other to feel known.

it’s kinda funny to me how that dumb scene in kiwami 1 of majima getting shot and left for dead in the harbor was basically just added as a half-assed way to explain majima not being around for a bit of the plot, but they accidentally(?) just made it seem like start of a chain reaction where majima ended up feeling slighted and heartbroken after being abandoned like that and then lashed out about it via smashing a big truck into the building kiryu was in. and yeah that isn’t inherently a romantic thing as-is but then they go and add the part where majima grabs a hostess and performatively hits on her as in-kiryu’s-face as possible, she says she’s already in love with someone, and majima lets her go immediately, no questions asked, making a big fucking point of it just to say see THAT kiryu? I appreciate when people are HONEST about their FEELINGS. people who won’t just BACKSTAB someone who CARES about them to save themselves. is that so crazy kiryu?? huh??? anyway make it up to me get down here and fight me right fucking now
