Dearest Zelda,

First let me say what a joy it was to receive your latest letter! Truly I was so delighted upon seeing it in the mailbox that I ran straight for Isaiah. He is not one to worry, but when our latest contact to the address we had for you in New Orleans once again went unanswered, I fear even he had begun to grow concerned. 

I am delighted to read that your silence was not without good reason, and to see the wedding portrait you sent of you and Antoine as well as the photo of your daughter. How she has grown since we last saw her! She is not much younger than our eldest now, who I fear every day is so like your brother there is simply no one thing in this world that can tame her.

It does sound like your Violette is much the same, and how much joy it brings me to think that perhaps it is Florence’s spirit manifesting through them.

Our youngest have also begun to grow like weeds, much to my chagrin. Does it ever seem like sometimes you awaken and it’s as though the grass has grown a foot overnight? That is oft how I feel looking at them, and Rosalie seems to desire all the independence of her namesake. 

She wasn’t but a day over six when she began poking into Rosella’s old room, curiously pulling forth toys and books from the gathered dust like a miniature treasure hunter. Truthfully, I could not tell you why your brother and I had yet to bring the room back into the light of day. Once you took the portrait from it it was like a pall had lifted, but I feared that stirring it would upset your brother’s long-standing grief over your mother, so I daren’t say a word. 

But as children often do, Rosalie saw little of that other than a space to call her own, and we have now finally found the heart through her to give it a new life. I do hope your sister would love to see her in there, playing dolls and writing grand romantic stories for them aloud to her ever attentive twin. It is a joy to see them rediscover the beauty in the world that pain often hides, is it not?

Have you written to Virginia as well? I fear she may not be quite as conscious of the time that has gone by. With the dissolution of The Women’s Political and Social Union, her work has turned increasingly to involvement with the Women’s Labor League, eventually coming to the attention of the Labor Party themselves. 

I will admit that I am not as informed on the goings on of London as I perhaps should be, but even still it came as no surprise when the party nominated her as their candidate for Member of Parliament. As she so painstakingly explained it, the party itself has suffered great losses from their prominence in the 20s, what with the general bias of their associations with the communists and their seeming inability to stop the rampant unemployment that has taken hold even here. 

I suppose she is fully aware that this was the cause for her nomination, as she was able to run more on the merit of her charitable associations than the negative reputation the party has recently taken on. Yet if she was surprised that this platform worked, she has never let on; but her work in the House of Commons has all but taken over her life since her election in 1931. How I do miss her and Wally, but that doesn’t stop me from wishing that she keeps her seat in the upcoming election of ‘35, even if it means we will see less of them than ever.

I imagine that what little free time she has is now spent nearby at Oxford, where Wally was accepted upon his graduation from secondary school. While I’m sure being the son of a governing member of parliament was not a mark against him, I have no doubt he was accepted there on the merits of his intelligence alone. Even from the small amount of time he spent here in his teen years, it was clear to me what a bright boy he was. 

I am told he is majoring in physics there, a field that even in the briefest explanations Virginia has given me is quite beyond my comprehension. I suppose what else are we to expect with Virginia as his mother? I’m sure he’s had but the most informative, intellectual upbringing, even when it must have been colored by the high expectations that I can only imagine your sister set for him.

Despite her near constant work and best attempts to shield her vulnerability, there are moments when we speak and it seems as though Wally's departure brought forth much of the buried sentimentality within her. I suppose under it all she is but a mother like us all, proud of her child and yet sorrowful as his life grows beyond her own.

Before I sign off your brother has instructed me to ask you to include the most minute of details regarding your predicaments with the soil in your next letter. He has also asked me to attach a veritable field guide of advice, although I have told him that everything you have written points to the fact that you are in waters we could not navigate any better even if we tried.

I must admit that when I hear the word soil I think simply of the ground beneath verdant green grasses or darkened Bramblewood canopies. It makes me realize just how little of the world I have seen, but also how lucky we have been even in the throes of what seem to be such tumultuous times. I can only hope that such good fortune will last in England for many years to come, and that some of our knowledge may bring success to your efforts as well.

I must once again thank you for the photo of you and Antoine on your wedding day. We’ve placed it in our living room next to the photo of your mother and father when they were wed, as seems only right. In return I have also included a photo of all of us when we were last together to visit Wally’s new home in Oxford; although I’ll be the first to admit I do hope we spend the next high holiday together in Henford instead. Anything that close to London makes me long for the forest more than anything else.

Your mother once told me that she sent you every photo we took, and that you have been collecting them over the years. I hope this can make a welcome addition to such a tradition, and do always know that you are welcome here should you ever find need of solace in the place you once called home.

I'm just answering some of my own questions and telling some facts about Charlie (my welcome home oc) because my mutual gave me alota inspiration with how well their character is made (Dominic)

Charlie is really confident (like almost to a toxic level) he is fully confident in his looks and finds himself quite charming.

He is definitely not a morally sound character he knows he isn't perfect, and instead of trying to fix it, most of the times he just embraces it even if it isn't always healthy..

He is always striking a pose, just standing there like a normal puppet? Nope! A full-on power pose!

He was inspired by my hand-made puppet and Jake Webber(more from his music), and I tried to make him a bit punk

His favorite song is "ME ME ME" by Jake Webber (I'm not at all obsessed with Jake 100% .. not at all..)

He is bisexual with a preference for men (he doesn't really have anyone romantic interest in any of the characters, though)

He named his gutair Gertrude and gave her a gender he openly talks to her, sometimes whispering snide comments to her when he feels threatened or insulted

He gets REALLY nervous and fidgety when the other neighbors pick up or interact with Gertrude it's a completely new side of him as he is usually pretty chill and laid back nobody really even tries to touch his gutair because he gets strange and almost disstent when they do (the weird thing is that Charlie never tries to stop them from picking her up or handing her he just gets nervous)

He has a bit of problems connecting to people and usually tries not to get to attached (he always ends up getting way to attached anyway)

He is actually surprisingly good at comforting people

His favorite food is oranges and surprise his favorite color is orange

He dislike strangers he is always avoiding them and he can be kind of an entitled brat when it comes to meeting them (he has never had a good first impression) its like he thinks there out to get him and they make him paranoid.

He likes to carry wally around like a football because he simply can

He likes teasing people, especially when they are shorter than him.. and not even shorter by a lot..

He is really bad at tasting his own medicine, even getting embarrassed or a bit upset when Barnaby, Poppy, or Howdys comments on how short he is compared to them

Yeah, clearly. He wants to snark, but continues to metaphorically chew on his cheek for a moment longer. This POS’s boss couldn’t give a rat king’s collective ass if Walt’s thrown into the mix. Either the head honcho’s really lost their edge or pitifully desperate. Doesn’t matter — the result’s the same. He’ll have to butt heads with this tall prick till the issue’s right as rain.

Walter runs a tongue over his teeth. Gentle reminder to not breathe in too deep, lest this shitshow doubles in unnecessary trouble. “Boss also doesn’t give two shits ‘bout you or your general safety if nothin’s fessed up ‘bout why it’s me and what this shithole is.” There’s still a stunning lack of empathy despite the copious amount of hazards here. Himself included.

“Tell you what. Why don’t you give room 3 a wellness check and see for yourself? That way your outta my fuckin’ hair while I get started on this shit.”

at the end of the day, leon's just the working man. he stands in the shadows and he watches the backs of the men that pay him and he doesn't speak unless spoken to. and as good a subordinate that makes him, sometimes he wants to be the guy giving the orders.

so yes, when he gets to be in charge, he has fun with it. he's never nasty, but he doesn't bother endearing himself to anyone on the lower rungs. this one's no different from any of the other mooks leon's had to interact with, even if he doesn't take to the tough guy persona immediately.

If I was writing the 60 special of General Hospital

I just finished watching the 60 special, and it was great, but it could have been amazing. Here is what I would do: 

I would have asked for it to be more than 60 minutes. Ninety minutes would have worked. 

For the host and moving it along. It was a choice to make it LW. You should have done beloved fan favourites. I would have done the following: 

Becky and Kelly or Genie and Jane or Tabyana and Nicholas. Those would be how to make most of the fanbase happy. 

I would cut down on the guest people and Stephen A. Smith. You could have done a small two minutes on some of the most famous people. John Stamos was an excellent choice to do that part. 

The part of the dancing should have been Kelly and Finola talking about guest and cast performances. 

More old clips and talking about families such as the Hardy-Webber, Quartermaine, Cassadine, and Spencer. 

Here's how I would have done it. (I love the energy Kelly and Becky have in scenes together, so that I would have them) 

Becky and Kelly are getting ready for the show, and both are in their most iconic or favourite outfits. (Becky could be in one of her wedding dresses or nurse ball dress, and Kelly could be too.) 

Becky starts it off with the Hardy-Webber family and how Dr. Steve Hardy started the show, and you get clips of the family members and the first clip of the first episode. Then Kelly added that it began as a hospital show, but it grew into more, and then we get more clips of the Cassadine-Jermoe families and the cops and others. 

But I would have Kristen Storms jump in and talk about the fantastic guest stars and famous people they had on, such as Elizabeth’s father, Richard Dean Anderson and John Stamos. That was when I would have John Stamos talk about getting the role and the other famous faces. Clips of Richard Dean Anderson, John Stamos, Demi Moore, Ricky Martin, Meghan Markle, Jonathan Jackson, Nathan Parsons, Rick Springfield, and lastly, Amber Tamblyn, who introduces the Quartermaine where she meets up with Wally, Rene, Jane, and Lisa at the Qs where they say a line if these walls could talk. This could lead to wedding dresses, with Lynn wearing her famous wedding dress.

Becky, Lynn, Brook, and Kristina are wearing their iconic wedding dresses with others such as Nancy, Laura W, and Katelyn in theirs. I would still have the same clips but with Brook talking about the first interracial wedding in the daytime. And showing iconic wedding clips such as Tom Hardy’s wedding, Steve and Audrey’s wedding, Drew and Sam’s wedding, Tiffany and Sean’s wedding, Laura and Kevin’s wedding, Scott and Laura’s wedding, Luke and Laura’s wedding, Monica and Alan’s wedding, Robert and Anna’s wedding, and one of Sonny and Carly’s wedding. And I would have Cynthia in one of her wedding dresses from Valentin and her wedding about almost weddings with clips such as Kate and Sonny’s wedding, Drew and Elizabeth’s wedding, Valentin and Nina’s wedding, and Patrick and Sabrina’s wedding.

Here is where I would have Genie host a segment on the Cassadine and Spencers as her wedding clip to Luke finishes with Helena's curse, and we have flashbacks to the war between the families and how other families get involved. I would have Nicholas C join her with Hudson, and they joke about what comes next for the Cassadine-Webber-Spencers war. 

Tristan joins them and jokes with Hudson that their character has something in common, such as coming back from death, and they have clips of characters who have done that. This is where I would have the Steve B announcement, but I would have Hudson and Asher, Jason’s sons, to make the announcement. 

The next segment I would do is about parties and events in PC that never go well with Dominic and Josh. The part of the dancing should have been Kelly and Finola talking about guest and cast performances at the Nurses Ball.  Donnell joins them, and talks about those making good Emmy reels, and they talk about General Hospital wins at the Emmys. 

Maurice, Laura, and Jon talk about iconic storylines about serious topics, and they show clips which I would like to lead into a clip of an upcoming storyline about Adam’s storyline. 

Rick and Kin talks about all of the ones the shows have lost in real life with clips, and I want them to include Billy Miller in this one. I would have Jane and Genie join them with Kristina, Tristan, and Finola as we have them honour long-standing characters. 

Becky and Kelly return and have a segment about fans' favourite storylines where they ask fans. 

Tanisha and Jon talk about babies, how we watch characters have kids and how it is always so dramatic. We have clips of all the main cast who give birth on the show of their most dramatic, such as Elizabeth with Jake and Aiden, Sam with Danny and Scout, Maxie with Georgie, James and Bailey, Alexis with Kristina and Molly, Carly with Michael, Morgan, and Josslyn, Robin with Emma, Felicia with Georgie and Maxie, Monica with AJ, Lucy with Serena, Sabrina with Gabriel, Olivia with Leo, and Britt with Rocco. 

I still have Cynthia and Maura do the bloopers and the ending of the special because that was done well. And the end of the whole thing should be a clip of the upcoming Bobbie’s episode.
