breeding darkness

Life happens pretty fast

its influence in both light and darkness

shaping your existence and your choices

what could I have done with different choices as a child

or even as an adolescent

would I still end up where I am today?

would my darkness still be such a part of me

eating at me, dissolving my humanity and my light

with every single thought of evil

and every single idea I don't completely ignore

I let that darkness grow and breed inside of me

and I don't hate it

GOOD EVENING, LIKERS!!! Happy Hump Day!!! How is your weekend going so far?

I can say this #wednesday was an off day. An actual off day. Something that I was so not used to. So what did I do? Not a thing. Lol. For once.

I sat. I #read. I binged a few shows. But in all, it was nice to be chill. Well, to an extent. And finally, I simply went back to cover looking. But let me not get ahead of myself.

Time for EDITING, TYPING, and WRITING!!!

EDITING. It's been all about the cover.

And I meant the cover to HOW THE OTHER HALF LIVES, of course. I've been doing it in fits and starts over the last few days. But I've been #slowly making my way through looks.

And now I could tell...it was time to #make a choice.

TYPING. Nothing to see here. Move along.

WRITING. Well, it has been pretty light #again this week.

But it occurred to me while I was at work this week. That it is that time of the year again. And by that time of the year, I meant that it was time for #writersdigest's competition list.

And I thought...should I join it? I was sure I could put out a short story pretty quickly. And while I was at work, the first line came to mind. lol.

Things to make you go hmmm.
