I could theoretically write this myself but the American school system is in the way of that so. Poly morning crew where Fit comes back and they all cuddle and kiss and just be very homosexual.

(I don't actually know if fits come back yet but this has been on my mind all week)

It was hard. When Fit came back. He wasn’t the same person when he came back. There was a heaviness in his shoulders, a dark look in his eyes. Tubbo tried to hide from him for a while, scared of how they would clash but Pac pushed them together. 

“He needs you,” Pac whispered to him as they both stared at Fit, who lay curled up on the bed. 

“Does he?” Tubbo whispered back. 

Pac nodded enthusiastically. “Just trust me?” 

Tubbo sighed, glancing between the two of them before agreeing. “Okay. I trust you.” 

They curled into him like cats. Tubbo was expecting resistance but Fit’s body visibly relaxed. He leaned back into Tubbo to his surprise. Pac was smiling at the two of them as Tubbo wrapped his arms around Fit’s torso. 

The thoughts of insecurity were racing in his mind but Tubbo pushed them aside to focus on Fit. “Is this okay?” he asked. 

Fit nodded slowly, leaning back even further into Tubbo’s body. 

Tubbo squeezed tightly, as tightly as he felt like he could without suffocating the man. He knew from experience how comforting it was to be held so tight and close. 

Pac started to murmur to him in Portuguese. Tubbo didn't understand more than half of the words but he knew the tone. It was comfort. 

Fit relaxed even further at the sound of Pac's soothing voice. “Thank you guys,” he said so softly and they both rushed to say it was fine. To say of course anything for him. 

Tears were choking up his voice. “I missed you guys. I missed-” his voice broke and he turned over quickly to bury his face into Tubbo’s neck. Pac and Tubbo met eyes over his shoulder, matching devastated looks on their faces. 

“I’ve got you,” Tubbo managed to say. “And I’m never letting go okay?” 

Fit relaxed even deeper into him as he continued to cry. “I need to tell you something.” 

“What?” 

Fit pulled back so carefully, staring up at him with a look of such devastation in his eyes. Oh, Tubbo thought. That damn pit destroyed him. 

Fit sniffed, wiping away a tear with his hand before bringing it up to rest on Tubbo’s face. “I love you. Okay? I love you man.” 

Tubbo froze. Heart racing in his chest. Heat flushing to his cheeks. Every muscle in his body tensed. “I… you’re gonna make me fucking cry." He wiped away the tear that threatened to slip out of the corner of his eye before Fit could reach for it. "I love you too. Okay, asshole? You tell us next time when something is fucking wrong so we can help you. So I can protect you. I can’t lose you. Not again."
