#a very dangerous and inappropriate situation for a child

when people say that any child who does anything interesting in fiction for children is a “child soldier” or is performing “child labor” you know that they’ve forgotten everything meaningful and sacrosanct and torturous in childhood. go ahead and try giving kids only fiction where adults do everything worth doing and the children sit safely at home living lives devoid of danger and adventure and anything remotely worthwhile. i bet they’ll love that.

as people almost twice my age feel the need to vague post about me let me clear some things up. this is the last i’ll be saying on the situation- unless you all want to send me some more death threats to treasure (as if that’s a reasonable and normal thing to do or helps your case even slightly). calling me a “kink shamer” for saying reader being literally child adjacent is weird is like… so 2+2=89 now? in general i would never publicly knock any kinks, even those i would definitely rather not partake in- but i WILL knock the idea that having reader act as a child is acceptable. no matter what you say i will stand by the fact that this is not a kink. it is a very dangerous precedent to set ourselves as writers in this space and is also very much inappropriate when there are young impressionable people reading fanfiction. we all know minors have access to the internet and these fics no matter how much we may plaster 18+ warnings on them and i do truly believe we have a duty to display safe, consensual sex in fics- even for younger adults such as myself. in fact, even for adults who are much older than me- i think we should all be emphasising the importance of consent and healthiness in kink and sex. it is impossible for this to happen when these writers create readers who act incredibly childlike (this is not in reference to sfw fics, i truly don’t care about those) and then put these oc “readers” in sexual settings where it is clear they are too “naïve” to consent. these “reader inserts” often are written as if they are not aware of how sex works or their own basic anatomy, much like a child would not be. it is highly reminiscent of sexual grooming and i would suggest that if you are truly insistent that you are still going to write this, tag your fics as noncon or the like because that’s what they are.
+ prev post.

Thinking again about how Sakura and Tsunade are depicted as violent women for comedy relief purposes and how much it links to their value as people in the war setting of Naruto.
Let's start with the obvious: In Naruto, the more capable of violence an individual is, the more the shinobi system finds them valuable.
That's because they are always at war or waiting to be at war. They need to be a threat in order to be respected and in consequences, defenseless people can't speak without someone with great power or influence willing to back them up.
The Land of the Waves is the perfect example.
Now, it's very important to say that comedy relief moments in Naruto aren't meant to be taken all seriously. They tell us about the characters and their dynamics, but "women beats men" is a trope that most of the time is meant to be taken as a sort of compliment for the female characters of Naruto. It means they are strong and won't take any bullshit, that they are assertive, have a strong personality and generally they are great fighters.
I'm not defending the trope. I don't like the trope myself, but it is what it is.
This sort of "masculinization" of the women of a story is common for older media. "She's not like the other girls!", "she was raised with 5 brothers, so she's very tough!", "she does (insert activity that is associated with the male stereotype) so she worries no man will ever find her feminine enough to date her", blah blah blah.
It is followed by the author stating that they are still very much women, capable of being wanted and being feminine— you know the rest.
Those characters are always overcompensating for some vulnerability of their past. They were or felt like helpless little girls at some point, so they decided to grow strong to prevent anyone from hurting them or their loved ones again.
It doesn't matter if their natural positions should have given them some advantage. They were kids and more than that, they were women. It's a given that they were going to be discredited.
In Tsunade's case, she was the granddaughter of the two Hokages, a student of the third one, she was a Senju, a promising medic nin. Yet, it took Dan to speak for her for other shinobis to take seriously her proposal of assigning a medic nin to each team, at least until the war was over.
Tsunade innovated the way wars were fought. It is a fact. What needs to be said about medic nins in times of war is that their services will always work in favor of violence. They save soldiers so they can keep fighting, right? To have the best medic nins on your side makes your tropes terrifying to other countries, 'cause yours would not stay down for long. They would die less, get less sick, it'd be harder to take them down.
Tsunade's first vulnerable moment was when her little brother (Nawaki) died. That's her first time really feeling like a helpless little child. Orochimaru was a strong punch to the gut too, but nothing as bad as losing Dan. She convinced herself that she had put a curse on them by accident and isolated herself.
You remember what she's famous for?
Her beauty, her temperament and her skills.
She's pretty, but don't play with her because she will punch your guts to a new galaxy if you dare.
And that's the joke. Haha, this woman won't let you fool around or disrespect her. She doesn't like feeling like she's being dismissed. In many of the comedy relief situations, Tsunade is punching someone (Jiraiya, Naruto) for being inappropriate when talking to women or existing around women
So it's interesting to think how those scenes were supposed to show the audience that Tsunade was strong and capable and worthy of respect. Look, she is dangerous so it's better not to interrupt her while she's speaking or do not underestimate her for being a women
It was explicitly stated in her fight with Madara, where he called her a weak woman. No comedy there.
Now, those funny-violence gags are not reserved for women. We saw Naruto punch people too because he thought they were being unserious.
I think the real problem comes with the fact that such comedy was maximized with Sakura Haruno
Sakura is the original helpless little girl. Before any other female character, we were presented with a too smart for her own good brat with anger issues who based all her worth on how well she could compete on the social scenario of teenage girls.
In order to understand Sakura, we need to place her side by side with Naruto. They are the hero and the heroine of the manga. They were the first male and female characters we saw being bullied. They were both loud and annoying. None of them thought before speaking or considering how their actions could hurt others. They blindly thought they knew what they wanted, who they liked and who they hated. They had their rivals/best friends and that feeling of not belonging, of always being invisible, of being ignored. Naruto accumulated rage appeared in the form of Kurama, but Sakura had that inner version of herself.
All I'm saying is that Sakura is full of issues and insecurities. Her normal life didn't save her from it, despite what other characters could think.
What was Sakura's arc through Naruto Classic? Do you remember? It was her learning that being shinobis was not a game and that she needed to become dangerous if she wanted to be and do anything in that world of hers. It was not enough to memorize concepts, because applying that knowledge in the safety of a classroom was very different from actually fighting for her life.
Sakura spoke mostly through Naruto back in their genin days. We know she impressed Ibiki Morino with her intelligence and Kakashi gave her some high praise during the Chunning Exams. Those comedy relief was meant to show us that she had the potential, but she needed to learn first.
Turning her into a new version of Tsunade was Kishimoto's way of complimenting her. He gave her the beauty, the strength and the skills. Most importantly, Kishimoto gave Sakura the means to make people shut up and listen to her. There is a reason to consider her within the narrative that doesn't extend to her value to other characters (aka how much team 7 cared about her).
What another example? Think of Temari or Chiyo or Kushina. They are all accomplished kunoichis with attitude and a mean punch.
The contrary is the stereotype of quiet girls who are either made fun of for being weird or get discredited for not being the "violent" type.

Santiago Garcia x sexworker!informant!reader/OC x Javier Peña
Co-written with my beloved @my-secret-shame
Beautiful moodboard by @whatthefishh
“Baby, if you wanna be wild you’ve got a lot to learn.”
~Bruce Springsteen, Candy’s Room
Read on AO3
Summary: Javier Peña is not looking forward to meeting his new partner, having scared of all of them since Steve, but the idealistic, capable (and attractive?) Santiago Garcia quickly wins him over. The pair get assigned to take down Gabriel Lorea, and Javi seeks information from his favorite “informant”, a prostitute known as Candy. She also happens to be who a young and inexperienced (and sexually repressed) Santi goes to in order to learn about sex.
Will he fall in love in the process? Is Javier jealous or is he really just concerned Santi is being reckless like Javi claims? How often is Javi’s inner dialogue gonna talk about how hot he thinks Santi while still calling himself straight?
Warnings (not comprehensive. Given the nature of a fic about sex work and the drug trade in 70’s Colombia use your discretion on the type of content that comes up. Consider this series rated R; Smut heavy, switch reader, sub Santi, rough sex (specifics per chapter), corruption kink. (Reader introducing an innocent Santi to the beautiful world of good sex) and age gaps (reader is early to mid 30’s, Javi is mid to late 30’s, santi is 25) all is v consensual and nothing about taking advantage of Santi’s naivety. Drug trade, some drug use. Some SA, inappropriate touching and threat of rape, physical violence etc on a sex worker but not by our boys. Candy has sex with drug lords and there’s some dubious consent as far as her using sex to pacify these men in dangerous situations. Covert/emotional incest in the past. Emotional incest is NOT sexual incest (necessarily) please read this link if you are unfamiliar. Santi was very parentified as a child. M/M dynamics. Internalized homo/biphobia.
Reader description: Latina given the context of where they are, so there’s descriptions of her tan/dark skin. Reader has long brown curly hair.No name but reader goes by the nn Candy for her own protection and privacy. Scenes from Santi or Javi’s pov are in third person, referring to candy as candy and she/her. Candys POV uses second person but she’s more oc
Chapter 1: Javi meets his new partner, tells him he needs to let off some steam. Santi calls Candy to help him out with that.
Chapter 2: Santi and Javi plan to take on Lorea while Santi thinks back on his night with Candy.
Bonus Chapter: Santi is sick.
Chapter 3: Javi goes to get some 'information' on Lorea and runs into the last person he expected.
Chapter 4: Javi confronts Santi, but Candy has Santi's back.
Chapter 5: Javi and Candy kiss and make up. Javi and Santi make up, no kissing. Santi and Candy kiss.
Bonus chapter: Candy at work
Chapter 6: Santi takes Candy out, and Javi is not pleased. Santi finds a new kink.
Chapter 7: Everything falls apart.
Thank you all for your support on this!!! It means so much!
As always, if this fic inspires art, moodboards, fics, anything of that sort, I welcome all of it!
My ask box is always open for thoughts (or thots 👀)
Candy’s description is Latina, brown curly hair, shorter than Javi, able to be picked up and carried. I picture her like Helena.
This is how I picture her!

Terminology and Definitions
Problematic in recovery - a term used to describe a person who's considered "problematic" in online spaces (eg. Tiktok, Youtube, Tumblr, etc.) and is wishing to end their problematic behavior and rehabilitate. A majority of these people who identify with this label struggle with some sort of mental illness that may have contributed to the behavior and/or their behavior is how they got the disorder. Many of us have also experienced trauma of some sort and used problematic behavior as an unhealthy coping mechanism.
Note: this does not excuse the actions that were done, if someone is doing something they shouldn't, hold then accountable in a way that is beneficial to both you and the person being held accountable. This label was made to address the issues that cancel culture has created over the years, and how those issues have affected people negitively.
Problematic (in terms of online behavior) - having or showing attitudes (such as racial prejudice) or ideas (such as falsehoods) that are offensive, disturbing, or harmful, in this context, it occurs while in online spaces. While the exact cause of this behavior is unknown, a lack of understanding of social cues and norms can play a role, alongside exposure to inappropriate content at a young age that may alter the person's beliefs, and other forms of trauma. Some people who are deemed "problematic" often describe it as an addiction, once you start, it's difficult to stop, though regularly scheduled therapy and medications used to treat the mental illness that is causing the behavior in question can help.
Cancel Culture - a cultural phenomenon in which an individual deemed to have acted or spoken in an unacceptable manner is ostracized, boycotted, shunned, fired or assaulted, often aided by social media. Popular examples of this are the cancelation of Yandere Dev, Melanie Martinez (a recent one), and Vivziepop, along with many others. Originally, cancel culture was used to put an end to dangerous behaviors and to hold celebrities accountable for their harmful actions since the media would often allow their behaviors to go on.
Unfortunately, cancel culture doesn't take into account those who are struggling with mental illness or have neurological disabilities that may impact how they handle specific situations, and as a result, it leads to ableism and stigma, and cancel culture is also rooted in bullying and harassment, which may make the problematic behavior in question worsen and deter the person in question from seeking help and/or changing their behaviors, and in worst cases, it leads to the person taking their own life.
Simple answer: It's anti-recovery and pro-harassment.
For more information on how cancel culture can impact someone, I recommend checking out this video by BreDrawz, as she does a very good job as explaining this topic and how harmful cancel culture can be:
youtube
Why this blog?
When I first discovered that my behaviors were considered problematic, and infact were hurting people, I wanted to put and end to it, and all in all try to make myself a better person. Unfortunately, with the rise of Cancel culture, I and many others haven't been able to get the resources needed to make the necessary changes to myself, and this, combined with the already existing ableism I've faced since I was a child, had unfortunately caused me to frequently relapse, further pushing the stigma and worsening my mental health.
It eventually got so bad to where I had begun to contemplate taking my own life, and it was only because I discovered that I infact was redeemable that I didn't do it.
On my journey to recovery, I had discovered that I was not the only one dealing with this, as many others had been dealing with the same issues I was, and that made me feel less alone.
I hope to provide that same feeling of community through this blog.
DNI (DO NOT INTERACT)
Anyone who fits into these categories: Ableism (especially against neurodivergent people and anyone with "evil" mental illnesses, such as NPD or BPD), Racism, Sexism/misogyny, Homophobia/ transphobia, Antisemitism, Pro-genocide of any kind, Nazis and Neo-Nazis, pro-"life", or any sort of discrimination that I haven't listed here.
People who justify literal bullying as "criticism" (seriously, it never helps, there's a difference between actual criticism that can help someone and bullying)
Personality disorder Abuse believers (eg: Narcissist abuse believers)
People who make mental illness look like a quirky trend (Eg: saying "bpd = beautiful princess disorder", "I'm so OCD" etc.)
Anti-recovery (especially when it comes down to mental illness)
Cancel culture participants

To parents of trans kids who are scared of their kids facing transphobia:
Don't force your child out of being trans. Don't force them to detransition. This is not how your child from facing transphobia. Realistically, you are pushing them toward more dangerous situations because they will be desperate to find acceptance from anywhere they can.
I can't imagine how it feels to be a parent and worry about your child's safety or life because they are trans in this world. You have my full sympathy. While I can't speak from the experiences of a parent, I can speak from the experiences of a trans person who was once a child and why the above line of thinking is dangerous.
When I came out as trans, there was a huge proportion of time where my dad was very resistant to my transness. I couldn't understand why, but I believe part of why he was so resistant was because he was afraid somebody would assault or kill me because I am trans. That is a huge burden for him to think about. However, he went about this (valid) fear in a very destructive way.
He threatened my transition, he threatened to force me to detransition, and he threatened a lot of things. I retreated away from him, I couldn't talk to him about anything. I felt confined, unaccepted. I am lucky my friends and school were accepting, because I was vulnerable. Others haven't been lucky - so many people in that position have been taken advantage of by truly evil people.
You might think that you are protecting your child by making them appear cis, but that isn't how that plays out. Your child won't feel accepted, and chances are that if something horrific happened to them, gd-forbid, they won't come to you about that. This isn't protection, and I am sorry to say that. I am sorry that this isn't simple.
Here is how you can protect your trans child:
Make it clear you support them
Teach them self-respect, and how to listen to their gut feeling
Teach them appropriate versus inappropriate ways people can interact with them. Make sure they understand what harassment and abuse can look like - verbal, physical, and sexual
If you are still concerned for their physical safety, sign them up for self-defense classes
Leave the floor open for them to express how they are feeling and what they are thinking. Be non-judgmental when they are upset or worried
Please remember that trans people are painfully aware of the consequences of being trans in a transphobic world. Hell, one of the first trans people I learned about as a kid was killed as a result of a hate crime. We are aware of the world we live in. We have to live with that knowledge, and that is why it is imperative that you allow your trans child to express who they are and how they feel. You very well could save them by doing so.
We protect trans youth by empowering trans youth.

Comparing the types of abuse and ACES experienced by the gang during childhood. LONG POST
Physical Abuse
Mac from his mother
Both Charlie and Mac are physically abused by peers. Specially mention to Charlie being force-fed things.
Emotional Abuse - Every Single One of Them
Charlie’s mom is coddling, controlling, emotionally manipulative - although possibly not intentionally - and expects/requires Charlie to take care of her.
Mac’s mom actively rejects Mac and seemingly always has. She barely speaks to him and expects him to remain quiet as much as possible. She actively insults him. Luther is homophobic and enforced an unobtainable standard of masculinity onto Mac. Seems to enjoy setting up tests for Mac to fail. Is hot-and-cold and unpredictable in his affection
Dennis is the Golden Child for his mom. She has high standards of presentable-ness he must maintain. She seems to have inspired his eating disorders and fear of aging or being ugly. He learns from her that degrading his sister is necessary to maintain his ‘status’/safety.
Dee is despised by her mother and scapegoated. She is demeaned constantly, including for a medical condition and the treatment she needs.
Both twins are ignored by there father and sporadically antagonized. Frank demeans them, insults them, and creates elaborate tricks to upset them for his own entertainment.
All members are bullied in their childhood. Special mention to Dee and Charlie.
Sexual Abuse
Charlie. Molested by his uncle, whom his mother allowed him to share a room with. His mother ignores Charlies distress enough that Jack can be actively Inappropriate in front of Bonnie and she does not react to him voicing discomfort.
Dennis is a victim of statutory rape. He rationalizes it as something he should have enjoyed. Also, I’d like the throw out that his relationship with Barbara feels very emotional-incest in my opinion.
Both Charlie and the Twins are exposed to the sexual activities of adults at a young age due to Bonnie doing sex work and Frank hiring sex workers.
Not quite sexual abuse, but Mac forces himself to have a lot of sex with people he is not attracted to in order to prove his worth and masculinity.
Physical Neglect
CHARLIE. Did not have anyone making him bathe as a child enough that he was visibly filthy throughout seemingly all of highschool. His adult teeth issues imply he was not taught to brush them and probably was not taken to a dentist. Presumably not to a doctor either.
Charlie was allowed to start doing drugs [inhalants, which are dangerous] seemingly without intervention despite it happening at school and being a spectacle among the students.
This is only speculation but given Charlie’s adult eating habits, I wonder what his food situation was like growing up. Also when did Charlie stop using toilets
Both Mac and Charlie are under supervised and allowed to get into dangerous situations
Emotional Neglect
EVERY ONE OF THEM IM NOT GONNA LIST IT ALL OUT.
Special mention to Frank seemingly actively teaching Dennis to repress his pain.
Mentally Ill Parents and Parents with Addictions
BONNIE BONNIE BONNIE
Also Mrs. Mac appears to be pretty depressed. Chain-smokes.
Frank is Frank
Barbara is a drug addict. Referred to by Frank as ‘pill popping’
Luther sold drugs, presumably there were drugs in the household during mac’s childhood. Presumably Luther and Mrs. Mac were users if not addicts.
Jack is not a parents but was present in Charlies childhood and has some sort of dysmorphia or delusion regarding his hands.
Parental Incarceration and Abandonment
Charlie’s Dad
Luther
Education Neglect
Charlie has been diagnosed with any type of learning disability despite being functionally illiterate. Was never given any type of help for behavioral issues despite still biting at least as late as elementary school. As far as we know he never had school staff intervene with the horrific bullying he experienced and no one appears to have called CPS despite him being visibly neglected. [I’m not sure what the mandatory reporter laws of Phili in the 80′s were like but what we know of Charlie’s school year would be a mandatory report for teachers today]

rant about sams
the sams fandom needs to stop harassing people (rant)
(TW: mentioned abuse, harassment, suicide, murder almost all mentions of horrible things come from the show itself not the fandom)
so to the sams fandom, stop harassing people. it’s not just shadow but I notice it with other things in the fandom. you like old moon? your treated like a monster. you don’t like lunar? why not? you point out suns bad behavior? it’s trauma, get over it.
on top of that the fan creations scare me. particularly the ship. the fact that 9/10 relationships in this fandom are sibling relationships should say why ship them is inappropriate. Lumini? Fine! Monty/moni x earth? Perfectly fine! Canon! Lunar x moon? THEIR BROTHERS! I even saw eclipse x lunar! Like why?? one of the more popular ships in this fandom is Solar x moon, and yeah their not blood related but they still consider each other siblings, and then sun x bloodmoon? Like yes, sun killing bloodmoon and bloodmoon torturing sun and his family? That’s some strong chemistry right there
Speaking of bloodmoon, the bloodmoon fans are out of control Sometimes. I love bloodmoon too, he’s probably my secon favorite character but let’s be realistic. Bloodmoon was dealt a horrid set of cards in life, he was built to hurt people and no one wanted to help, he’s been used and abused by everyone in the show, few are innocent in bloodmoons case. But will he be redeemed? Of course not! He doest’t want help anymore! Maybe before their death they had a shot but not now. hes killed tons of people and makes a game out this, he refuses to get better but the fandom still claims his innocence.
Speaking of characters that can’t do any wrong in the fandoms eyes, sun. He killed a child, gaslite and emotionally abused the old moon until moon thought the only way to make himself better was the die and hope he came back and was good enough, he threatened lunar, he pressured earth into driving and put her in very dangerous situations and probably other stuff, and yet we pass it off as trauma? When does trauma stop making it fine? It sure as hell wasn’t when moon hit sun.
And speaking of moon, the moon haters are crazy. i stand by the fact I prefer old moon, and I stand by the idea that the only reason moon was killed was because moon could do anything and the fandom would hate him for it. Im not excusing the fact moon hit sun during their fight episode, but i feel like the fandom needs to step back and realize sun was ALSO a problem. moon was getting better and was doing everything to get better and I know that doesn’t take it away, but the fandom needs to chill. Moon restraining sun after he killed bloodmoon was 100% acceptable. Sun was a danger to those around him and not listening to reason. the fandom was making all of these things like “how would sun charge, how would sun do this, or that” claims that made them more mad when no one ever said anything about those things.
Ruin too. He gets on my last nerve. I hate the way he treated bloodmoon, and then got redeemed. he was so creepy. I don’t have much to say about him but he makes me so mad.

I'm oh sooo curious, since anon asked on the other page.
Fake-out make-out scenario for the Ros?
the first part of the fake-out make-outs is here with our lovely crown kallias! galen's and v's will be up uhhh whenever i write them. hopefully within the next few days [:
“Will you stop laughing?! Go faster!”
“I’m—ha—I’m sorry, I’m trying!”
In ordinary situations, Kallias would have no trouble keeping up with you as you dash through the streets, but they’ve got a sack full of gods know what strapped to their back, and they won’t stop giggling like a child, and it’s slowing them down.
You knew this job would bring at least a little danger, but you never imagined that all the danger would have nothing to do with the crown’s royal title. Kallias attracts trouble like a horde of flies to honey, all completely on their own. Disappearing in the dead of night to challenge the cursed trees, insisting on going through the bog to save time but getting stuck, somehow getting snatched up by a gryphon the one time you thought they were behaving.
This time, it's a horde of bandits, which wouldn’t sound like Kallias’ fault, except it is. They set their camp on fire.
To be fair, it was an accident. To be fair, what they were trying to do was steal back the supplies taken from the workers in the city, which is nice you suppose, and you did agree to the plan, but also you were literally there the whole time and you still can’t comprehend how they set the entire camp ablaze by accident—and thus they alerted the bandits to your presence, and thus… you are running.
“In my defense,” Kallias begins. "We did get the supplies—"
You cut them off with a gritted out, “Please shut up.”
They laugh even harder at that, and it stutters because they’re sprinting at the same time, but it’s otherwise unrestrained. Fuck, they’re infuriating.
Your own pack of supplies isn’t doing you very well either, it slaps against your back with every step and it’s really starting to annoy you. You know you can’t keep this up forever… or even for much longer, at this rate. You had a pretty good head start but you can hear the shouting of the bandits start to close in on you.
But you have an idea. A horrible, awful idea.
You grab Kallias by the wrist and tug them down a narrow alleyway, around a corner—and then you skid to a stop.
You turn around, chucking your bag onto the floor against the wall, and put your hands on their shoulders. They look at you in confusion. There’s a bit of pink peeking out from the brown of their hair now, which means their glamour is fading. Good. You never intended to be out this long, and while you have a backup potion, you won’t use it. Maybe this will help your chances.
And before they can even have the chance to ask why you’ve stopped, you blurt, “Kiss me.”
There’s an incredulous smile crossing their face, like they think you’re joking, but you are not joking. “Huh. That is maybe the last thing I was expecting you to say.”
This is… incredibly inappropriate. This is your crown, even if they are an idiot, and the Queen would have your head on a pike if she knew what you were thinking—if she knew that you’ve thought about this before, even without the imminent danger, when you were alone with Kallias in their chambers and they were listening to your stories, all soft touches and softer smiles.
But you look into Kallias’ eyes, specks of green peeking out from the brown as the glamour wears off, and this is… for their safety. And it is your duty, as their knight, to keep them safe.
“I’m serious.” You wet your lips, from nerves or something else, you don’t know. “Please. Make it look believable. It—”
Something in their eyes changes, and they don’t need to hear the explanation—just as well, because it wouldn't have been a very good one anyway. And in the next moment, your back hits the wall. Rough hands, too rough for the royalty they’re supposed to be, cradle your jaw, deft fingers sinking into the hair at the nape of your neck. And… oh. They’re kissing you, and they’re really fucking good at it.
It’s for camouflage, you reason. To hide your faces, and make people look away. You remind yourself of that as you wrap your arms around them, tug them as close as you can possibly be to one another… even as they tilt their head and deepen it, and they are so warm against you, and any thought in your mind promptly goes silent beneath the buzz.
Distantly, you register the heavy footfalls of the bandits nearing. They must have split up, because there’s only a few people coming your way.
They’re coming closer. And then they’re here—and their footsteps stutter right where you think they must have noticed you and Kallias… and then they’re running the other way.
But there might be more coming, you think. So you should keep it up just a little longer, and Kallias only breaks away from you just long enough to breathe.
You don’t know how long you stay there, wrapped up in each other, but eventually, and far too soon, you break apart one last time.
Their tawny skin is flushed. Lips are slick and red. They look up at you through half-lidded, glazed eyes, black of their pupils eating up all the colour in their irises. And then their warmth recedes as they step away from you, stretching out their arms.
“I think they’re gone,” they say, far too evenly and far too casually for what you’ve just done.
You blink rapidly to regain your bearings. “You… uh… didn’t even wait to hear my explanation.”
They shrug. “I get what you were trying to do. Didn’t need to waste time.” And then they smirk, and it only worsens the searing heat in your cheeks. “Besides, I’ve been waiting to do th—”
“Be quiet,” you say, but you laugh, you can’t help it. You might be slightly delirious.
They grin. “My lips are sealed.”
As you go back the way you came, you fight off the heat in your chest. Rub your neck so you can rid yourself of the tingle they left behind where they touched you.
… But you can’t. Kallias has made an imprint on you, somehow, and oh gods. You want to kiss them again. And again, and again, and again.
Oh no. Oh no. What have you done.

Headcanons about VV's ADULTS premades!
⚠️ Since these are my personal headcanons, I don't take responsibility if someone gets offended by the way I interpret the characters or if you don't like certain couples. I don't like perfect life stories, I like DRAMA, not all characters are good people, there are even villains among them!
If you like these let me know if you would also like to know my headcanons on the elders, teenagers and children of Veronaville!
P.S: In the post I refer very often to "historical times". By historical times I mean an AU where the characters live in a very ancient year instead of modern times. In this case I am referring to the year 1300+, because these were the years where the real Romeo & Juliet is set. (For those who say no, the years where the story is set are conflicting in many versions of the story, but here in Italy they say it is 1300+ because the real Romeo and Juliet lived in that period)
To start without do favoritism, let's start with the Summerdreams!
Titania Summerdream
She's a fairy (obvs). Very tall, chaotic, lover of alcohol and umh...something else that Lazlo loves too. Very extroverted, loves to party and watch real life dramas but doesn't like it if happen in her family. For a long time she tried to make a baby with Oberon but never succeeded. After a while she understood that one of the two was sterile, but not knowing human medicine they never knew how to find out which of the two, and that's why they adopted Puck and Bottom.
She loves her adopted children immeasurably, but without wanting to, she often finds herself favoring Puck, making Bottom jealous.
She is the kind of mother who treats you like you are a child even if you are 54 years old, hugs and cuddles you in front of anyone and embarrasses you in front of anyone, expecially in front of your friends.
Being of a mischievous and perverse nature, she often finds herself saying embarrassing things in any situation, often risking killing Puck of embarrassment.
She thinks that anyone the same age as her kids are their boyfriends/girlfriends and torments they by asking if they are. In front of them.
She constantly smiles mischievously, calls everyone "dear" and "darling", and often speaks vaguely, as if doing riddles.
She calls Puck with lots of embarrassing lovely nicknames. She does the same with Bottom.
She often finds herself feeling neglected by Oberon because of his work, but they both love each other a lot.
Not knowing technology, being a fairy, she began to learn about it recently. Her favorite things about that are 10 year old boomer memes and taking boomer photo montages with the sunset behind her.
Often she texts her kids and replies to her own messages thinking they were the ones who responded, thus creating an entire conversation with herself.
Her movements are slow and elegant. But she burp a lot, and loud, when drunk.
She often behaves inappropriately with everyone and everywhere.
Oberon Gossamer
Oberon is also a fairy. Like Titania, he's very tall. He is the serious person of the couple. He loves theatre, writing scenes for films that only exist in his head, the sea and... he has a small, dangerous, attraction to black magic. He is calm and of few words, often speaking only if asked, but being the serious parent of the couple, he is also the one who listens to his kids's problems, try to help them and attends school meetings (Titania is not reliable).
He drinks, but a little, he is not a lover of alcohol like Titania, but he likes it. And...as for the hobby that Titania shares with Lazlo... let's say he likes it but with moderation.
Oberon learned to use technology much faster than Titania and therefore loves do video editing. Once he even tried to be a Youtuber but he had to close the channel because people in the comments told him that he was hot and Titania didn't like that.
Unfortunately he often gets lost in overworking and neglects Titania a bit.
Also, since he learned youth slang he uses it a little too often and inappropriately.
Now let's move on to the Montys!
Bianca Monty
Bianca has an average height. She is neither tall nor short, and has a decisive, stubborn, intelligent personality. She is honest, direct, she always says what she thinks, she doesn't want to please anyone, but she's also very very closed emotionally. She often hides that she has negative emotions and memories created by the family situation and pretends that nothing harms her. Often, this inability to let off her sad thoughts and show weakness makes her appear grumpy or unpleasant, but that is not her intention.
Bianca left home as soon as she turned 18, tired of hearing about the feud with the Capps, but that's no secret. She has a good relationship with her mother, her brother and her nephews, but is on bad terms with her father.
Once she started living on her own, Bianca tried to figure out what she wanted from her independence: did she want to study? Work? start a family?
Having always had a difficult situation in the family, as she had no use as a daughter, that couldn't be the heir, Bianca has always wanted to have a family of her own but...noticing that taking care of her brother Antonio's twins created difficulties for her, discouraged her very much.
"Maybe I'm not ready yet." Bianca thought, and then she decided to concentrate on her studies. She often frequented a library and there she met Kent.
The two immediately became friends, but Kent was afraid to tell Bianca that he was a Capp. But when Bianca found out, their relationship became even closer, because both were against the feud.
At one point, Bianca had a crush on Kent, but when he came out to her as gay, she felt the world fall on her. Disappointment hit her in the chest and when she finally thought she had found her place in the world, her man, the father of her future childrens, her dreams became illusions.
Bianca never confessed to Kent, so she silently accepted it, once again hiding another pain of which she could never talk about.
However, after that discovery, Bianca, appreciating the trust that Kent had felt towards her, finally began to open up and tell him all the bad things that she had always kept inside. Kent was the only one who could listen to her. No one before him had ever been willing to listen to her.
From that even more intimate approach, Bianca also began to become very interested in the LGBT+ community, after listening to Kent talk about it, and sincerely tried to explore herself a little. But noticing... how the crush for Kent doesn't seem to want to pass, leaves little doubt to herself.
Antonio Monty
Antonio, as a man, is short, like his father's height, when Patrizio was young.
Like his sister Bianca, he also moved away from his parents' house, but this happened after his wife Hero's disappearance, following a big verbal fight with his father.
Antonio has always endured his father's hatred for the Capps in silence, but when the feud led to his brother Claudio and his sister-in-law Olivia losing their lives, and the disappearance of his wife Hero, the limit was reached.
Antonio loved Claudio very much, and after his death, his relationship with his father ended to a point of no return, accusing him of being the cause of his death.
He decides to earn a living without his father's monetary support and starts working as a cook (in my headcanons, in modern times he and Claudio had a restaurant, in "historical" times, instead they have an inn).
Antonio loves cooking, food is literally his whole life and he hopes that one day his passion will allow him to leave a good legacy to his twins, so that he doesn't have to worry about leaving them with nothing.
Antonio is a perfect father, he always puts his children as priority over everything and would prefer to starve to feed them. He is sweet, patient, tries to treat both twins the same but often forgets that Benedick is also a child and entrusts him with too many responsibilities such as checking on Beatrice while he is at work or helping him at the restaurant/inn after school.
He is often very strict regarding education and good manners and this is why his children are so polite, but the stress of being a single father often leads him to become excessively angry. The twins know that their father isn't really as angry with them as he seems, but other people might think of him as an exaggerated father.
After Claudio's death, Antonio also tried to be a father to Mercutio and Romeo, loving his nephews very much, but living away from them is a bit problematic, even though he himself had proposed to them to live with him.
In any case, Antonio made a promise to Claudio that he would protect Mercutio and Romeo at all costs, and for this reason he still does not lose sight of them, with one excuse or another.
From time to time Mercutio helps Antonio at the restaurant/inn as a waiter or cook, but Antonio doesn't let Romeo into the kitchen because Romeo doesn't know how to cook and would make everything catch fire.
Hero Monty
Hero is of average height, has a strong, determined, stubborn and courageous personality but unfortunately she comes from a very, very poor family.
She doesn't know how to cook, she is very clumsy in doing everything (but in historical times she would have known how to use a sword even if she is a woman) and Antonio is often the one who has to cook her food and help her around the house, but... it is precisely her defects that have made him fall in love with her despite their very different social statuses.
Patrizio never accepted Hero, he never accepted Antonio marrying a woman who was so poor, but Antonio decided to disobey his father and married her anyway.
After their marriage, despite the tensions in the family, the two were happy, but unfortunately, as often happens, not everything can be perfect, and Hero also ended up falling in love with her husband Antonio's younger brother, Claudio.
The two had a secret relationship even though Claudio was also married to another woman, Olivia, and Hero only decided to tell him to stop when... she discovered she was pregnant.
She never told Claudio about the pregnancy, but pretended that the child was Antonio's. And so Antonio also believed that it was his own.
Hero gave birth to Viola, but full of shame for the daughter who was the result of her love affair wich Claudio, she decided to pretend that the baby had died during childbirth and gave her to the care of a maid.
Antonio was devastated, Viola grew up with that maid and ended up working as a maid herself but without ever knowing who her real parents were.
Hero never spoke to Claudio again for fear that she might fall back into temptation, and after a few years, she had the twins Benedick and Beatrice with Antonio.
Hero loved Antonio very much, and what had happened with Claudio had only been a huge mistake, but somehow, Patrizio had discovered the truth about Viola, perhaps thanks to some maid present at the birth who had acted as a spy.
Patrizio threatened Hero that he would tell Antonio everything if she didn't start respecting and obeying him, doing as he wanted. Hero was very stubborn, she hesitated, she didn't want to lose her pride in the face of a threat and... it was there that she was killed by a man paid by Patrizio himself. And Benedick, peering through the half-open door, saw everything.
Patrizio blamed the Capps for Hero's death and made his entire family believe that they were the ones who killed her. A short time later, Viola mysteriously disappeared.
Claudio Monty
Claudio is on average tall, taller than Antonio but shorter than Olivia. He is the choosen heir after Patrizio and before Romeo.
He is what can be called a good son par excellence. Respectful of his parents, he has never disobeyed his father's orders. He always studied what Patrizio had forced him to study and in his free time he practiced his passion for cooking by working in the restaurant/inn with his brother Antonio.
Claudio and Antonio bought the restaurant together and are both the owners, but in historical times, the two of them bought the inn secretly from Patrizio who did not accept that his sons worked like any other commoners, to the detriment of their high social status.
Claudio doesn't want to disappoint his parents and in front of them he is the perfect son, but when they don't see him, he...shows his slightly more libertine personality. In fact, he loves to appear youthful, and (according to my headcanons) he has Romance as his second aspiration, and for this reason, unfortunately, despite everything, he is not very faithful to Olivia, and this is why he ends up cheating on her with Hero.
Antonio often finds himself scolding him and blaming him for everything, arguing just like any pair of brothers, and unfortunately, that "libertine" side of Claudio's personality was also inherited by his sons: Mercutio and Romeo. Mercutio is in fact very rebellious, while Romeo is studious but a womanizer.
Despite everything, he is a good father, and although he is very serious when he wants, most of the time he is also the most permissive and the one who allows his sons to do stupid things while covering them up from their mother Olivia. He's also the kind of father who gives his sons advice about girls and then wants to know every detail and gossip about the girls they've dated.
Often ending up, however, "punished" together with his sons by his wife herself, with flying slippers.
After the fire at the Capp mansion, he and Olivia were kidnapped by the Capps, locked in a secret room in the mansion and left to starve to death despite Olivia also being heavily pregnant.
Olivia Monty
Olivia is tall, and there's not much I can say about her. Like Claudio she is also quite serious and a good daughter and daughter-in-law, but unlike Claudio, she behaves much more seriously and with maturity.
Coming from a family of doctors, she could have become a doctor, but she abandoned her studies to pursue a more homely life.
In her husband's family she doesn't have much freedom of speech. Patrizio is very tough, he feels like the master of everyone, so, in order not to argue she prefers to remain silent, unlike her sister-in-law Hero who instead responded badly to her father-in-law when she sees things that are not right.
She's a good wife and a good mother, but she is much stricter with her sons unlike Claudio who lets them do a bit of everything, even what they shouldn't.
She doesn't know that Claudio cheated on her with Hero, and that's why Olivia sees Hero as a good friend and is on good terms with her. (In historical times, I imagine that Olivia knew that Claudio had cheated on her with Hero, but that she couldn't say anything because at the time wives couldn't really have the right to speak. Men had the right to have as many women as they wanted, but since Hero was a married woman, she could have been accused of adultery if Olivia had wanted to be vindictive.)
While Mercutio got his rebellious spirit from his father and Romeo his studious, womanizing attitude from his father, both brothers got their vivacity and sloppiness from their mother. Claudio on the other hand is quite clean.
If she had been alive, she would most likely have helped Romeo to be with his Juliette and... she would have accepted Mercutio's relationship with Tybalt (I ship them) as a very open minded person. While, maybe, Claudio would have been a little more reluctant.
Now let's move on to the Capps!
Goneril Capp
Goneril is very tall, first of the four children of Consort and Contessa Capp.
As the first daughter, she has always been convinced that the role of heir would be given to her by right, but the decision of her mother Contesaa to make her younger sister, Cordelia, the future heir of the family, created envy and jealousy between the sisters.
Goneril is serious, ambitious, elegant, clever. She tries to be perfect in everything but that doesn't seem enough to please her parents.
Although she was the first daughter to get married, the fact that her younger sister, Cordelia, had become pregnant before her created great anxiety for her. The anxiety faded when she saw with great satisfaction and malice that her sister's firstborn was a boy, Tybalt, and therefore that he would never enter the line of succession, and the relief was stronger when she gave birth to her firstborn, Miranda, but...even so, her parents didn't seem to change their minds. The heir was and continued to remain Cordelia.
Relations with her family are very tense. She is resentful towards her parents for not choosing her, with her second sister, Regan, the relationship is very "at convenience", sometimes they hate each other, sometimes they love each other, it depends on what the plans are. She can't stand her third sibling, Kent, finding him too strange and disrespectful to the family's honor, and hates her fourth sister Cordelia's entire family, especially Cordelia herself and her nieces (Cordelia's children) Tybalt and Juliette. With Hermia she is indifferent, as Hermia doesn't seem like a threat to the role of heir as she doesn't seem interested
It's no secret, at least to us players, that she often feels paranoid about her husband Albany and believes that Albany only married her for her money. But another of her problems is that although she loves her family very much, she is incapable of expressing affection, due to her harsh personality which leads her children to disobey. Especially with Miranda the relationship is very tense, but losing her trust is not what she wants. Goneril isn't a bad mother, even if her moral isn't exactly good.
Albany Capp
Albany is very tall, but not so much taller than his wife Goneril.
Even though Goneril is paranoid that he only loves her for her money, the truth is that Albany has been madly in love with Goneril since they were teenagers. He immediately saw in her the mother of his future children, and it's also true that he likes money very much, but his love for Goneril is sincere. He's basically a simp for Goneril. He doesn't mind at all that she has control over everything, even his person.
Although his canonical personality indicates that he is a very serious and grumpy person, for my personal headcanon I instead think that he is serious regarding the rigidity that his wife Goneril herself requires for his family (in short, he obeys her like a dog) and for the grumpiness...he just doesn't really hate anyone, but growls at people his wife doesn't like.
Albany actually has no interest in the feud, to tell the truth he doesn't even know why it started and often tries not to make enemies of any member of his wife's family.
He loves his children madly and is able to demonstrate it very well, unlike his wife. Being a father has always been his greatest desire! He often finds himself crying alone at the thought that sooner or later all his daughters will get married and leave home and this is why he always walks with an enormous handkerchief in one pocket, ready in case he feels like crying thinking about it.
Although he has a goofy face and seems calm, he would be capable of beating you very badly if you dared to harm his children.
But isn't the same for Goneril. Goneril is capable of defending herself, in truth Albany is a little afraid of his wife.
Regan Capp
Regan is tall, but shorter than her big sister Goneril. Second of the four children of Consort and Contessa Capp, she also aspires to the role of heir but like Goneril she found herself usurped first by her younger sister Cordelia and then by her niece Juliette.
Ambitious, clever and stubborn, she too would do anything to get that role (in historic years she would even have tried to kill the competition by poisoning the food, drinks or who knows what else!) but she has two big problems: she is much more emotional, more impulsive than her older sister Goneril, who is instead more thoughtful, cold-blooded, and...has a great inferiority complex due to the fact that she is the the only one of the sisters not to have children yet.
She doesn't even know if she wants a child that much, but the fact that after many years she still hasn't been able to have one worries her enough.
The marriage to her husband Cornwall is an arranged marriage, a marriage of convenience. The two never liked each other but...they're trying to like each other now.
The relationships with her family are very similar to those of Goneril, but with the difference that Regan feels much more resentment towards Cordelia and that... she doesn't know how to feel towards her brother Kent. She is sorry that he doesn't have a family of his own, that he is lonely, but at the same time he is... so intrusive into her married life with Cornwall that she can't stand this situation so much anymore.
Cornwall Capp
Cornwall is on average tall but shorter (slightly) than Regan.
He is greedy, has a bad temper and his world revolves solely around money. He married Regan for social convenience but despite seeing her efforts to try to be a couple in love he can't really like her. He pretends to like her.
He is envious, he is envious that a woman has so much more power and control over her life than he does. Envious because he doesn't even have a job.
And, he also hate very much his brother in law. Not only because he is intrusive and doesn't want him around, but also because... let's say I have always seen Cornwall as a very homophobic person? Male chauvinistic and homophobic, a perfect picture! ✨👌🏻 (I apologize to Cornwall fans (do they exist?) and to those who really like the Regan-Cornwall couple, I know they love each other very much in game but this is my personal headcanon, I ask for forgiveness 🥺)
Although it was clear to him from the beginning that in the Capp family it was the women who were in charge and had the power, Cornwall NEVER accepted this. For this reason he argued very often with Regan, ending in mutual agreement that they would both have the same right of ""command"" at home.
Kent Capp
Kent is VERY TALL, taller than his father Consort and his sisters. As a man, his role in a matriarchal family has always been very complicated and for this reason he has always been isolated from many things.
He is the favorite uncle of his nephews because he is the only one in the family to bring a bit of joy and madness among many long faces, his personality is both chaotic and very calm and lovely depends the situation, but both for this and for his hatred for the feud, he is called the black sheep of the family.
He misses his younger sister Cordelia very much, and has a lot of resentment against Patrizio Monty for it, but that doesn't mean he has to hate all the Montys for just one bad apple. Right?
Kent loves reading and studying and it's precisely his passion for studying, his ambition to become a teacher, that made him meet his now best friend Bianca Monty, in that library. The first person he came out to about his homosexuality.
His relationship with his family is very tense. He would like to remain on good terms with everyone, but it's difficult when his father doesn't know how to approach him without arguing over their very different views on the feud. Consort loves him but... it's just complicated, also because he knows that Kent is gay, but he doesn't know how to deal with him about it.
Goneril snubs him, so Albany does, Regan isn't sure how to feel, and Cornwall hates him with all his heart.
As I said, his nephews love him. When they were little, he babysat each of them at least once, but the children he babysat most frequently were Tybalt, Miranda, Juliette, and Hermia. Now he loves to babysit little Ariel (and that's why Ariel is bisexual, he spends too much time with uncle Kent)
For a short time, Kent helped Tybalt, Juliette, Miranda and Hermia study, but as I mentioned in anothet post, Tybalt was very stubborn, hard to understand the things he studied and the stress of tutoring him led Kent to lose all his hair (partly I think this is also the cause of the early hair loss of Caliban, Tybalt's father).
Among all his nephews, there is one in particular with whom he has a very particular relationship: Tybalt.
Tybalt initially hated his uncle Kent. He loved him as a child, but started to hate him after the fire, when he learned that his uncle was not against the Montys despite what they had done to their family. The two later became closer when Kent realized that there was something between Tybalt and Mercutio that was apparently not the hatred shown. He helped Tybalt understand why he felt so strange, opening him up to the possibility of thinking that perhaps he was homosexual and that he actually liked Mercutio.
Obviously Tybalt denied everything and reacted angrily and embarassed like a perfect tsundere but from that moment... it also gave him a lot to think about.
Kent realized he was gay when he lived in Roaring Heights. As a teenager he fell in love with a boy but their love story ended in fear that his family might find out. He only had the courage to come out to his family as an adult, returning to Veronaville.
In historical years, however, he hides it, for obvious reasons.
Cordelia Capp
Cordelia is short, the shortest among her tree big siblings. She is sweet, naive and couldn't stand the feud, she would have wanted peace instead of seeing all that hatred between the two families. Having been chosen as heir by her mother herself, this brought upon her the hatred of her sisters and to lose their affection for a horrible question of power.
She had a wonderful relationship with her parents and her older brother Kent, but unfortunately she never managed to regain the affection of her sisters Goneril and Regan, no matter how hard she tried.
Cordelia was...even quite friendly with Olivia Monty when Tybalt and Mercutio were children, but the feud then prohibited them from seeing each other.
Cordelia never wanted to use her authority as the future heir, she had never taken a stand on anything, she was a bit cowardly in some ways. She rather let her husband Caliban speak for her, let him manage everything alone, but she couldn't stand it when he scolded Tybalt without sufficient reason to make her son deserve that reproach.
Cordelia loved art, music, she played the piano, and she taught Tybalt to play that. She often lost herself thinking about things that people thought were banal, that they never stopped to observe because certain things had always existed: she loved the sea, she loved the night sky, its stars. She loved the color white, because it was purity, calm, tranquility, a blank canvas to paint on.
She was very young when she had Tybalt, but despite her young age she was a wonderful mother to her three children and wife to her husband.
And it was until the end. Because that night, when the fire had taken her husband's life, she could have easily escaped, there was time. But she didn't. Instead she took Juliette and Hermia and with her last strength she left them in the arms of their older brother Tybalt, and then returned to her husband's side, deprived of strength and oxygen, dying with him but reassured by seeing all three his children run out of that house. Away from the fire. But close to the man she loved.
Caliban Capp
Caliban is tall, but not taller than any Capp, in fact his son Tybalt, now that he has grown up, is much taller than him, having taken after his maternal grandfather Consort.
Caliban literally has two faces, and one of them is false. (And corrupted *badumtss*}
Lover of money, good at business, he immediately persuaded his father-in-law, obtaining his trust and thus the hand of his daughter, Cordelia. Cordelia was the heir, she studied to understand how business was managed, but the truth was that it was Caliban who helped his in-laws manage business. Cordelia had never lifted a finger, she didn't even know how things were going.
He comes from a... particular family. In fact, Caliban is actually a sorcerer and has often used his magic to manipulate things in the family to his liking.
As I have already said, Caliban is liked by Consort for his good business skills, but all his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law can't stand him, they are envious of the flattery that Consort gives him. Cordelia loved him a lot, and he...he...who know. He was once jealous, thinking that Claudio had tried to charm Cordelia.
Juliette loved him, Hermia was too young to express herself and Tybalt...he had a mixed relationship with his father. Because Caliban was gentle with his daughters, but harsh and more authoritative with Tybalt. Tybalt never dared to answer him badly or disobey him, however, but he often ended up getting so nervous that he ran away nervously so as not to insult him. Tybalt loved his mother far more than his father.
Caliban showed himself as a gentleman always ready to help everyone, but his nature was much more evil, much more manipulative than... anyone could have ever imagined. And perhaps, if he hadn't died in the flames, this would have been discovered sooner or later. Perhaps, sooner or later his mask would finally fall, showing the monster he really was.
He had so many secrets.

fucking like. i think realising that the children are all like, actively victims of child grooming is vital to understanding their character. what nerv is doing to them is grooming, even if it’s not sexual. they’re not only in insane danger, but actively being abused and manipulated in soul destroying ways. and i don’t think it’s an accident that they also display behaviour that’s also consistent with sexual grooming either.
shinji loses his sense of boundaries. he explicitly ties his worth to the actions he is forced to perform and engages in them out of fear of abandonment, believing he is worthless without them, and while this is most prominent in piloting he also struggles with sexual boundaries, nearly assaulting asuka in her sleep because he's been taught that he and the other children do not have any say over their bodies and choices, not really, and therefore he doesn’t even understand why asuka was upset over him admitting it. i haven’t gotten to it yet, but i do know about that scene, so COCSA is also explicitly explored in the show through him, which is very common for children and teenagers who are sexually abused- they recreate their trauma onto others.
asuka behaves in an overly sexual manner around people she finds safe, like kaji and shinji. she sees love as something sexual, and expresses herself in a hypersexual manner to gain that love from people she feels are safe and kind, and doesn’t understand why they don’t immediately like her- after all, she’s always been told that putting herself into inappropriate situations to please the adults around her makes her cool and special. when they don’t conform, she gets mad at them, because it’s easier than examining that what’s happening to her is also wrong. she lashes out and acts aggressive to hide the fact she’s not as perfect and happy with this as she thinks she aught to be.
rei is disconnected from her own body and mind. she’s in a near constant state of disassociation, and sees herself as merely a thing to be used. she's developed a traumabond with her abuser- which, y’know, forcing kids into dangerous and deadly situations is abuse- to the point she’s even aggressive and angry at the insinuation that he is anything but perfect, because she’s been isolated and groomed for what must be years at this point. she has no regard for her body, and has zero reaction to being touched inappropriately, acting if it was normal, and she also seems to have no idea that being nude around others is something abnormal. she's quiet and obedient, because she knows nothing but. she's just a disposable body, in her own mind.
like, this might be me having read way too much about child abuse, but this was something that i have been noticing and thinking about since the start and i really don’t think the parallels are unintentional, at least not entirely. since, y’know. they are like. canonically grooming victims just into violence and not sex. idk. this is just like what i've got as far as symbolism as of episode 20 I guess.

infodump about fred’s autistic traits
This is going to be going over many of Fred’s behaviorisms and things I’ve observed about him, and why I think they add up to the conclusion of him being autistic.
Disclaimer: Some of these things may vary depending on the iteration, being more exaggerated or toned down.
He lacks an understanding of tone and many, many things tend to go over his head. This can lead to other characters being upset with him, and him not understanding why.
He is seen taking things literally or being oblivious to any ulterior implications of other people’s sentences, also leading him to be overly-trusting and, at times, vulnerable to manipulation. Sarcasm usually goes over his head.
Very blunt. He has a tendency to always say what’s on his mind, and as a result, offend those around him. He never seems to have any intention of harming people by doing so, he just doesn’t see any issue with what he’s saying.
Tone often does not match statements; ex. “You seem to have healed well.” “What? …Oh, not my bones!” (Smiling)
Terribly oblivious to Daphne’s advances. This doesn’t even need any examples, because I could give dozens. Actually, in many adaptations where other women come onto him, he is entirely unaware of any romantic implications.
Will say potentially disturbing phrases without an understanding of why they are.
Intense apathy to danger. This goes at the cost of himself, and others. He will repeatedly put his friends in harm’s way, seemingly without a concern that it will endanger them or get them hurt, even though when it does, he feels terribly guilty. His room is full of traps. He trapped his friends’ houses in preparation for any mysteries.
On a related note, he is very goal-oriented, and will go to extreme lengths just to solve a mystery, or even find one.
Back to the apathy to danger, he will interact with dangerous things and be excited about them. Sometimes even if they’re not related to traps. This excitement presents itself in scenes where he may compliment the craftsmanship of a cage, or net, or rope, even if they are at risk of being harmed in the moment.
While he is initially dead-set on rescuing Daphne, in the first episode of Mystery Incorporated, he stops his concern for a moment to compliment the cage, which is, to a lot of people, inappropriate behavior for the direness of the situation.
He has many troubles communicating and distinguishing his and others feelings, medically described as alexithymia. This is very common in autistic people.
One thing that is very apparent about him is that he tends to get attached to inanimate objects. M.r trapples (his childhood teddy bear), traps as a whole, nets, magazines, his ascot, “Tyler” (the moose in his house), and of course, the Mystery Machine. He often treats the Mystery Machine as his child or a loved-one generally, and he is shown to care very deeply about its safety. This may be due to his lack of understanding of other people and feelings of isolation, or simply because he finds an indescribable solace in it, but either of these are autism symptoms.
Now, onto traps. Possibly the most blatantly autistic thing about him of all.
Over the course of many movies and shows, Fred has displayed an intense love and interest in traps, sometimes prioritized at the same level he does his friends. He admits to sleeping with a net in one movie, and in possibly the same one, (I haven’t watched it) here comes a scene that heavily resembles the behavior of an autistic person.
In the scene, Daphne asks him to contribute something to the conversation—Fred excitedly blurts out a fact about nets that he is eager to share, and Daphne says that no one wants to hear his net facts. Fred goes on to drop to his knees, beginning to sob about how much he loves traps.
Autistic people are prone to infodumping and sharing random facts that they have acquired, even if irrelevant to the conversation—as Fred is seen to do many times—and are often disappointed if they are shut down. It is one of the ways that we best communicate.
The thing about special interests is that your entire life revolves around them. It’s not just that you’re always thinking about it, because that’s not always the case, but it can also mean that it’s just something you incorporate into your everyday life because of your intense passion for it. It’s simply a part of living for you.
And that’s exactly what traps, and, even mystery solving, are to Fred. He makes up phrases that no one but he uses, ex. “Trap you later!” or, “It’s trappin’ time!”, as I mentioned before, his room is full of traps, he and his friends’ houses are all covered with traps, it’s just something he tries to fit into every aspect of his life because he enjoys it so much.
And, because he loves traps so much, here’s where his struggle with empathy comes into play. Because of his passion for traps, he is constantly under the assumption that everyone else that he’s friends with enjoys traps as much as he does. He has issues fathoming other people’s perspectives and is often wrapped up in his own head. Some may pass this off as narcissism, but that’s an ableist accusation and ignores how autism affects people.
Something that’s very, very much worth mentioning is how autistic people often lack the tools to understand “normal” communication, therefore giving people the impression that they are unintelligent, but can have “gifted” levels of intelligence when it comes to their special interest. And, yes, that’s exactly Fred. His problems with socially acceptable communication and recognizing tone may make him seem dumb, but he’s just the opposite with a college level understanding of physics, outstanding knowledge of engineering, and intellect regarding all that is traps—which is objectively impressive for a boy that is typically 17 years old.
Fred is someone kind who is constantly looking to do good for the world, however he struggles with allistic communication and perspectives outside of his own, causing him unintentional conflict between he and his loved ones. He is a genuine, honest person, and usually has the best intentions, despite not understanding people all that well.

THIS IS A COPY AND PASTED REPOST FOR THE PURPOSE OF SPREADING THE MESSAGE AS PORTER HAS NOW TURNED OFF REBLOGS ON THE ORIGINAL POST, THEREFORE MAKING IT IMPOSSIBLE FOR OTHERS REBLOG MY STATEMENT UNDERNEATH HIS POST. THIS VERSION WILL CONTAIN AN EDIT WITH ADDITIONAL INFORMATION.
Hello, I am the victim in this situation. I am using an alternate account in order to protect my identity. I planned not to address this, but I feel like I need to in order to leave no room for misinterpretation and to bring myself mental peace. Trigger warning for grooming and tickling. Please read at your own discretion!!
Me and Porter had been friends for half a year. I cut ties with them soon after when I realized what was happening to me. This was the DM I received from a concerned individual within his Discord server that really solidified the gravity of the situation for me:
Tumblr media
They then proceeded put me in contact with another concerned party after this DM. One of concerns they showed within the DM regarding the "sketch pages" is referring to these sketches that Porter made featuring both of our Welcome Home characters made in an online drawing game.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
The images above showcase his adult OC Porter tickling my OC, who is a teenager. Given the age of my character and the fact that I am a teenager too, he shouldn't have made these. Regardless of if I started it or not. The responsibility lies with the adult, not the child. No adult should ever indulge in these actions alongside a child, as it's highly inappropriate. Especially since it has been proven that tickling has previously been a fetish for him. Even if it isn't anymore, that doesn't negate the inappropriate nature of his actions towards me.
Another concern raised later was regarding a "fanfiction" Porter wrote including his OC, and a caricature of me being tickled by his character. Again, the character included is supposed to represent me - a minor. I will warn in advance that the screenshots below may or may not be slightly out of order.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Think of this what you will, but this is not appropriate behavior to engage in with a child, regardless of the circumstances. Porter has not deleted this fic, which makes me highly uncomfortable to know that he is actively has this saved even after everything that he has been found guilty of. Another individual within the server voice chat advised Porter not to write this, as it would be extremely alarming, and not okay. This was said when he mentioned writing it, before he actually did. He agreed, even acknowledging the dangerous nature of doing this. And yet, he still decided to go through with it later. This, however, barely scrapes the surface of the disgusting and alarming nature of his DM's and messages in his server towards me. I will apply a trigger warning accordingly for grooming with what is about to be shown.
(His profile picture is censored because it shows artwork made by an individual who is uninvolved, and I do not wish for them to be found via this artwork and possibly harassed.)
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
He has stated before multiple times within voice chat that if our messages were exposed into the public, he could get into serious trouble. Despite this, he persisted. His discord admin excused his actions on account that I "consented" and was comfortable with this behavior. But the glaring problem here is that minors cannot consent.
It was in his hands to make sure he kept me safe, and he failed to do so. He knew that I am a vulnerable, neglected, touch-starved and attention-starved teenager, and that I would not question him. No matter his "intentions" with me, it is still clear to see that he groomed me. Grooming does not always need to be explicitly sexual to be considered as such. Grooming is not a black and white issue. It's a very nuanced subject and can be hard to detect by even adults. He has also compared our interactions to "sibling tickle fights".
I've personally never seen siblings tickle eachother while calling one another "cute", using pet names, and putting one another in a "lee" and "ler" category. These are behaviors that I've seen strictly in the fetishistic areas of the tickling community. I've also never seen this behavior shared between parents and their children. Even if this was "play" between siblings or parents and their kids, it wouldn't make it any less alarming. This is not simply "innocent horseplay" as he tries to say. This is something far more sinister.
Tumblr media
I come from a very broken home. Porter made me feel special. He made me feel safe. He made me feel cared about and loved, more than any adult figure in my life has made me feel, and for this reason I grew heavily attached to him. He knew full well about my home situation and my fragile mental state, and this is why he felt content to take advantage of me. He was also aware about my emotional attachment to him. Himself, as well as his close friend circle who were also very close to me, acknowledged that he is careless in how he interacts with younger individuals. This gives even more reasons for him to stop interacting with minors altogether.
Another individual within his friend circle, who works closely with preschoolers may I add, has been defending this disgusting behavior and insisting that what happened to me wasn't grooming, and that I'm "hurting real victims" by saying this. This individual goes by Beauregardent/Museicorne/Darlingdoeling on most platforms; one being Twitter.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
This message was forwarded to me by an uninvolved third party.) This absolutely shattered me. It felt as if they literally spat in my face. I am absolutely appalled and horrified that this is an opinion held by someone who works with toddlers between the ages of 3-5. It does not matter if it was "intentional" or not, what matters is that he was still complicit in acting in this way towards me. The fact that he has stated many times that his behavior could get him in trouble, is very evident that he knew what he was doing was wrong.
Beauregardent and Porter's server moderator have both stated that he committed "groomer actions" but that he's not actually a bonafide groomer. This point is obviously chocked full of nonsensical semantics, and to say this is spitting in the face of not only me, but other victims who have been in my shoes and have been traumatized. It's literally like saying: "Well, the kidnapper did kidnapper actions, but they're not a kidnapper! They had good intentions when they kidnapped that child!"
Surprise, surprise. The floor is made of floor.
The fact that Porter has turned off and hidden certain comments on this post shows me that he is not willing to face the consequences and rightful backlash from this situation. He has proved that he is only trying to save face.
This situation has traumatized me greatly and has caused me extreme emotional distress. These are the effects of grooming. The individuals who confronted me about this situation are also victims of grooming, and have compared their situations to my own to further emphasis their concerns. I have also spoken with many other victims of grooming after this situation, and all have expressed their grief and heartbreak for me. A majority of them approached me first.
This is really all I have to say for now, and if any additional information is needed I will update this post accordingly. I believe I've covered the entire basis of this situation, on my side at least.
This post will serve as a compilation of necessary evidence for others to view and make educated decisions. As well as to make my statement and my opinions, and my sheer pain with this situation be known. I don't wish to address this any further for my own mental peace and safety. This account will remain, as I do not plan on letting my pain go unheard, nor do I want Porter to have ample room to misinterpret and get away with what he did to me. I am healing. I'm taking the necessary steps to feel better after what happened. Thank you.
EDIT:::
I know I said I wouldn't address this further, but I feel it is necessary to include an extra piece of information which has been brought to my attention.
Tumblr media
It is apparent that Porter is attempting to make a comeback even after all of this happened. This is very concerning. I'd like others, especially minors, to be aware and stay safe. If you click the notes on this post and view the accounts of individuals that liked it, you will find that some of them happen to be minors. I'm very worried for them, and frankly appalled that Porter is trying to sneak his way back onto Tumblr after everything he's been found guilty of. He also still has minors in his Discord server - one of which is being protected by an adult who stated they were only staying there to keep the minor safe in Porters presence, as the minor is not willing to leave the server.
After I contributed my statement to his original post, he switched off the reblogs. I was already well aware that he wasn't willing to take proper accountability for his actions, but this has given me even more proof of such.
Tumblr media
This is all for now, and I may make more updates if anything vital comes to light. Love you all. Thank you for hearing out my story. Please stay safe and cautious. Especially to all of you younger individuals.

i feel like so many facets in jack’s character that are narratively supposed to attribute to his internal conflict have been woobified and infantilized so extensively that nobody can even register them as actual struggles—like the entire thing about his age vs his life experience. on a physical/mental/emotional level jack is developed to his early 20’s and has all the capabilities of a young 20-something year old, but because he hasn’t actually lived through 20-something years and lacks the experience necessary to having good judgment and a good understanding of how to respond/react appropriately.
and the thing is, jack did choose to be an adult, but had no way of knowing that he’d have to deal with all of this as a result of that. he made his decision on the basis that the world was too dangerous for him to be younger, but Kelly likely never made him feel as if he would potentially be dangerous because of his powers. like I’ve said before, jack is almost entirely unaware that they aren’t a normal human for the entire first episode up until Dean tells the sheriff they’re a nephil. all they knew is that they heard voices and got freaked out and that “things” (sheriff barker getting launched into the vending machine) happened when they got freaked out.
adding onto this, another facet of Jack’s character is wanting to prove his worth or capabilities to others. he wants to be part of the team and be strong enough to protect people, all of which ties into his core desire to be Good and Safe and prove that to the guys, and he expresses extreme frustration and anger at himself when he naively trusts the wrong person (asmodeus, duma), misjudges a situation or overreacts in a way that harms someone else (the tombstone security guard, the Gas’n’Sip employee) because it outwardly proves to his father figures that he isn’t good or safe or worth their love+effort, and while the basis for Jack’s character and conflict is Nature vs Nurture, it also revolves around a struggle for autonomy—particularly his struggle to be more than what his own existence even allows him to be, and I think that’s the thing people horribly misunderstand or purposely ignore about jack and this particular struggle.
it’s not about jack wanting to be a normal kid (he actually very much just wants to be a normal teenager). it’s about the fact that jack has a limited life experience which clouds his judgement, lends to his naivety, and leads him to making the wrong choices and react inappropriately and hurt people without meaning to and further playing into why everyone is afraid of him. it’s about the fact that jack wants to be good and safe and strong and protect others (which are both already conflicting idealizations), and he’s angry when when the factors of his existence lead him to fucking up and registering him as a threat when he very adamantly doesn’t want to be a threat.
jack doesn’t want to be a normal child and none of their problems would disappear if he was one. they want to be capable of having self control and protecting the people they care about (re:, “what’s the point of having these powers if I can’t use them to help the people I care about? it’s selfish of me not to”), and he wants to have better judgement to understand what the right thing is in a situation and make the appropriate choice/reaction. the horror lies in the fact that he inherently does not have any of that. because of Jack’s naivety, he doesn’t have good judgment and he is incredibly dangerous regardless of the effort he puts into being safe, and frankly it’s weird to infantilize that particular aspect of his character (and every aspect, but this especially) the way this fandom has

I never saw anyone complainy about Darcy's reaction to Georgiana, but if I saw I would riot. He is a victim of Wickham and his decision, while not 100% right is not to be judge. I say this especially because I saw a similar situation in my life, where a girl of 14 had a thing with an adult and believe me, instead of judging the adult, a lot of people were blaming the girl, THE 14 YEAR OLD GIRL WAS BLAMED NOT THE 26 MAN.
So, if even nowadays we have dumb people judging a child instead of the adult, imagine in the regency era. If I was Georgiana sister I would 100% be quiet. I wouldn't want my sister to go through what I saw that 14 year old go through.
Besides, If someone is to blame for what happened with Lydia is Mr and Mrs Bennet, her parents, especially Mr. Bennet. He knew his daughter was innocent and would do inappropriate things and, instead of doing his fatherly duty and forbid her to go and help her to be more reasonable.
I've definitely seen it, unfortunately.
While the #1 responsible party is Wickham, by a mile, Lydia's general propensity towards impulsive, self-serving actions is pretty clearly a result of her parents' mixture of over-indulgence and neglect. Wickham would have been a danger to someone regardless, but the Bennet parents' impact on Lydia by 16 made her a particularly convenient target for Wickham or anyone else who flattered his way into her affections.
I also think that people sometimes forget that, while Georgiana is the proximate victim and has suffered the most acutely, the one Wickham really wanted to punish in her case was Darcy. When he trashes Georgiana to Elizabeth, the point seems less malice towards Georgiana herself (I suspect that "she is nothing to me" is one of the truer things he says) than tainting Darcy by association ("she is too much like her brother", etc). And he does also smear Darcy's character directly, of course.
This isn't to say that Darcy has it worse than Georgiana or Lydia, because he certainly doesn't or come close, but I think it's worth noting that he is the primary target of Wickham's malice and one of his victims as well, and people don't always appreciate just what a villain Wickham represented him as in their social context.
Even the vague details of Wickham's account that Darcy picks up from Elizabeth's rejection are enough to tell him he's been accused of something he considers depraved and a number of people, including Elizabeth, fully believe it. That's not equivalent to Wickham's exploitation of teenage girls, but it's still very bad, actually! So the idea that Darcy is the main culprit here is pretty distasteful to me, personally.
We can acknowledge that Darcy could have sacrificed the reputation of his 15-y-o sister (and ward) to protect any number of other girls, and instead he chose to prioritize the welfare of a single person because he personally loves her and is responsible for her. But we can also acknowledge that it's an awful choice to have to make and only happened because Wickham is a shitheel and Darcy keeps having to do damage control.
My best friend and I have talked about this kind of moral quandary—I'm sure there's a formal name somewhere, but we often talk about the question of whether taking a certain action for moral reasons, when you might have taken even more moral actions, is ignoble or simply less noble than you might have been. Like, are people obligated to do the most righteous thing possible, regardless of the cost to themselves or those around them, to be considered acting rightly at all? I'm not a philosopher, but I think it's a pretty difficult question and certainly more complex than "Darcy trying to protect the child under his care is reprehensible toxic masculinity" or whatever.

I find Sansa Stark Interesting
(Spoilers for game of thrones book 1)
I just find Sansa interesting. I do dislike her, mostly because if I had Sansa as a sister, I would definitely have slapped her by now. I don't know why people think I should be stanning when she calls her own younger sister "ugly", treats her like she is a burden, calls Jon "bastard", and lies for her crush against her sister. Joffrey attempted to murder a stable boy and Arya defended him. She was clearly in the right.
Sansa thinks it's a great idea to lie about that. I don't care that she is a kid. She is the elder of the sisters and it's inappropriate, even as a teenager, to lie about something like that. Even worse, months later she continues to propagate the lie.
None of these things make her bad character. They make her a very real character. I don't understand tagging something as "anti" character just because you dislike them, because disliking a character can be a sign that they are wonderfully crafted. I kinda wanna slap her, but she's 13. It's not that deep. I do think lady dying was unfair to lady, but a just punishment for Sansa. She has consistently gone against her own family over a crush. I was 13 once, get the urge but not to this degree.
I don't know where she got this from, no one else would do the stuff she does. Maybe she bought into the Kool-Aid so to speak of being noble? Catelyn and Ned are older and have the wisdom of age. They have seen war and felt grief. They understand some of the realities of what is happening.
Right now, I feel so horrible for her. The tragedy of Ned's execution is not so much the execution, because that man was a walking death flag. He has more death flags than Aki from Chainsaw Man. No, the pain comes from Sansa because she was the only one, besides Cersei but who cares about her, who thought Ned wouldn't die.
Sansa is bratty and she is somewhat cruel to her sister. I am an only child, but l feel like calling your own sister, ugly, and then saying that you wish it had been hurt that was killed instead of your dog is bad and is cruel. I think that's fair.
Now, Sansa is in a precarious situation that I truly would not wish on anyone and l am praying that she gets to kill Joffrey. She deserves it. I wish her the best of luck because she is in the most dangerous situation currently.
Just because I dislike her, and I do have every right to it does not mean I am anti-her existence, she is a great character and I'm curious to see how she progresses as the story continues. I will fight a child. I mean Joffrey is right there. I'd fight him. Yeah, I don't like Sansa but the worst thing that should've happened to her is getting slapped by her sister or maybe Ned, though he wouldn't do that, and he sure can't now.
I don't want to fight about Sansa. I want to discuss her.
