so on the subject of the "Crowley is secretly Revaan/Laverne/Levin/please Twst give us his name" theory, I think my feelings are best summed up as "I don't really buy it, but it's funny". like, in all seriousness, I'm not opposed to it; I have enjoyed the writing in Twst so far and I'm willing to trust that whatever happens will, you know, make sense and not be terrible. but I'm just not really convinced by the current evidence! maybe that'll change once we learn more, we'll see!
with that said, may I propose a few alternate theories about the possible Crowley/Revaan connection:

I'm also still laughing that he really showed up, introduced himself as an Archivist of the Cobalt Soul, and then insinuated that they were going to go extrajudicially hunt down, capture, and "interrogate" a Cerberus Assembly Archmage. Sir, archivists do not do that kind of thing, least of all on their own, LEAST OF ALL with a bunch of random hooligans they were just sent to collect for an unrelated excursion. Quite honestly, that was the thing I kept going back to in evidence of, there is absolutely no way this is a legit archivist.

I’m starting to hate STSG so much solely for the fact that I cannot consume any content of my faves without them always being brought up or inserted into the conversation in some type of way
I just wanna hyperfixate on Hikara and Itafushi yet the most toxic and unhealthy ship is brought up more in their tags than them themselves

For all that Pedro Pascal plays the 'reluctant father figure to a special child' in both tlou and the mandalorian, you gotta appreciate the dichotomy between the roles.
Like, on the one hand, you have Joel Miller, traumatized, tough guy that has and will continue to commit atrocities to keep safe those he loves. And on the other you have socially awkward, extremely likable, space himbo that despite being extremely competent in fights will absolutely walk into a body of water of unknown depth with a heavy af beskar armor and no jetpack, and sink rigth to the bottom.

Unfortunately for everyone involved, Brent doesn't understand the concept of being bought a joke, like, why would someone SPEND MONEY on a joke? Since Karen's his friend and bought him a shirt, he's like. Legally obligated to wear it at least once... ? Probably?
So while he suffers over the idea of wearing it and not wanting to wear it at work he eventually would wear it and Karen would suffer the fact she needs to actually not try to joke too much in a teasing way if it's gonna be Treated Seriously. Right suffering from being gay because oh, Brent looks nice in color. (Chris would find out about it at work that he missed Brent in color and just stares at Karen because she is an absolute menace how did she manage that.)

Consider This Scenario:
Makoto Kagutsuchi getting sick with a bad cold for the first time ever in his life.
He'd totally be the type of lunatic that would drink cold medicine or cough syrup directly from the bottle like it was an energy drink. And there would be multiple bottles.
It WAS medicine right? It would make this stuffy and yucky feeling go away so he could go back to work??
(Spoilers) TW// vomit mention
He was immortal, what could possibly go wrong?
...
Only for him to suffer the HEAVY consequences of intense hallucinating, a higher fever and a lot of vomiting later.
Then he’d have a seizure and die.
…
And then when he comes back,
He would never do that again.
...
well maybe just one bottle next time.
(makoto no)

idk man something about the way both wat and kan were feeling betrayed and (understandably) infuriated with akk when they found out he was the curse, but when push came to shove, there still wasn’t a moment’s hesitation for them to step up and cover for akk and aye in the heat of the moment, and it was only when in the presence of their friend group that they did confront him
