Al, who grew up on the filtered advice of a distant, out of reach mentor who he could never live up to. Not like James with his fun, his humor, or Lily with her love and her girlhood.

Albus, struggling to write that first letter home, to tell his parents and little sister that he’s different from them; Albus who doesn’t even get to tell them because James tells them first

Albus, who doesn’t get a green scarf and hat until after the first snow, unable to parse if it’s the color, the fact that he’s the second born, or maybe just that it’s him that made it come later than James’ had

Albus, who goes back home for Christmas and faces his father’s disapproval for befriending a Malfoy, his father’s distrust and attempts to assure his morality for befriending someone harry assumes cruel and antagonistic

Albus, having to hold awkward conversation with Rose and Ron and Hermione, because neither of the kids want their parents to know they’re not talking (they find out eventually, and though they’re nice about it, Albus knows they’ll always put Rose’s feelings first)

Albus, who is suddenly assumed more malicious and problem causing than he ever was before, who suddenly is seen as a prime person to scot the blame off to when things go wrong

Albus, who gets chosen after his sister (“just like her mother!”) during the family quidditch match; who gets meaningful looks from his Uncle Percy; whose Christmas sweaters are no longer red but never green; who suddenly cant seem to talk to his uncle ron anymore, someone who used to understand what it was like to be James’ brother

Albus potter who stradles the line of too Potter for Slytherin and too Slytherin for his family.

Albus Potter, who’s ambition has been squashed out by bullies and disregard and distrust, struggling to find his identity in a house and world that is still in the midst of undoing decades as an indoctrination machine…

A Soundwave who put his entire spark into the Decepticon cause because he TRULY believed Megatron, with his ideas of a different cybertron, a Cybertron where everyone was an equal, there was no council or senate that dictated how someone acted, what their rank was, where they would work or do, that THEY could make a change and there was hope.

A Soundwave who stood besides Megatron because he was wide eyed and hopeful, because he didn't want to be a gladiator, a servant, a tool, a device, or whatnot for the elite. He wanted to be himself. A transformer who loved music, who saw minicons as his equal and saw the minicons he worked with as his family who he adopted or was adopted by. And so much more.

A Soundwave who was willing to do horrible things if Megatron's ideal Cybertron became a reality.

A Soundwave, that, as the years go by in the war, and the energon, dried and stained on hands, making it nearly impossible some days to see the old paint on them. The screams of prisoners of war echoing in his head, making him spend so many nights awake that he forgot what the hell a recharge cycle was.

A Soundwave who steps and weaves into the sudden new political game he was thrown into among the Decepticons, a Soundwave who keeps his mouth shut because he learned quickly that silence was loyalty and loyalty was gospel among the cons. A Soundwave who, while anxious, hides it well, because he is still grasping at the dream of a better Cybertron that Megatron promises and will die for him....

...A Soundwave who loses more and more minicons as the war goes on, A Soundwave, who when Ravage died, he had to choke back his pained cries as he cradled the dead minicon in his arms. A Soundwave who had to bury Frenzy and Rumble together because one perished in combat and the other was badly wounded he had to mercy kill him just to end his suffering. A Soundwave who grows more and more enrage, as a traitor, Starscream, is allowed to walk freely, ringing alarm bells in his head because this feels like old Cybertron, where the elite got away with bullshit and others suffered.

....A Soundwave that can't even stare at Megatron anymore because all he sees in the Senate, the council, the people who hurt him, the people used him. All he sees is that in Megatron.

...A Soundwave who snaps finally and walks away, grasping on to what he believe the Decepticon cause was originally but can't tell anymore because of how muddled has become due to Megatron's greed for power. A Soundwave who is tried of the war and how it refuses to end. A hellbent Soundwave who uses what he knows to trade for asylum, to trade for information, for safety and more.

A Soundwave who wants to watch everything burn because he is tried of this stupid war and just wants it to end, but is willing to go down swinging and bring everyone down with him.

Hmm though I do think fem Yuu will definitely encounter some creeps at NRC I don't think it's too much for to warrant them and special weapons.

Epel gets harassed a few times but everyone pivots to bullying his looks when they say he's a guy. Plus Yuu has a fuckass cat, very aggressive first years, a lot of dorm leaders friends, and a direct line to Crowley with that ghost camera. It wouldn't be wise to fuck with then. Plus Yuuka doesn't seem to be treated too differently in the Manga either.

A lot of boys would have to debate if their housewardens punishment would be worth it as well.

Now that being said I do think Yuu is at messy given the choice to present more masculine but also you cant convince me they pick up something. Yuuken does kendo, Yuuka juudo. Game Yuu is a fucking tank that can't die even when they take a disk going 100mph to the head. So Yuu prob already knows how to fight, or is so good at handling it in general.

Plus if your wity the first years and having to deal with lots you definitely learn how to handle shit/fight by now.

Also TWST would have that stuff considering book 6

Me at Soren with sarcasm: Hmmm I don't know Soren, maybe it's also because of the fact the last time she did this Callum had to do dark magic and almost died from it, you became paralyzed and Claudia did dark magic for you which messed Claudia up even more, Ezran found out about his father and than had to leave, they were all almost captured do to Rayla's actions and the mission almost ruined. Gee I wonder why Rayla has some issues now about risking the mission for one captured dragon. 🤔
