So I have chronic back pain, and to help with it, I have a heating pad. Well, my first one had finally broke after years of abuse (I think it was my mom’s before she gave it to me near the beginning of highschool), so for this past Christmas my grandma got me a new one.

Well, I had a rough night at work last night, and of course, I needed my heating pad more than ever in that moment bc my back was killing me. Well, at some point in the night, the control panel fell in between the wall and my bed, and when I tried using it when I woke up, it wouldn’t work. So I unplugged it, hoping to salvage it, and the control panel works, but imagine my dismay when I realized that the heating pad wouldn’t heat up.

I haven’t even had this thing for 6 months, and it’s already broken. All because the fucking control panel fell in between rhe wall and my bed (it didn’t even drop bc the frame blocked it, so it’s not like it hit the floor) in my fucking sleep. And it was a good one too, that encompassed my entire back and shoulders, and instead of just one small area. Fuck me, man.
