Like it was the same with Sky Sports making comments about Bottas’s weight only for him to come out and talk about the unhealthy relationship he did have with food in his career. It’s not anyone’s place to attack someone’s body.

For a time where every media outlet and every interviewer likes to preach mental health especially in F1 (for their five minutes of positive coverage) only to be the ones to drag down a drivers (mostly Max’s) mental health infuriates me.

Just got kicked from a writing group on my professional account for saying that if you use AI tools as a writer, you were never a writer to begin with. The entitlement to think that it's your right to be able to access other peoples years of work and skill is astounding. I developed a tremor in my hands, I lost a tattoo apprenticeship because of it, that's just life. You get up and move on. There's no tools that can make me a brain surgeon and even if there were, I would still not be a good brain surgeon. People saying shit like 'I have a disability that means I can't write', just shut the fuck up? I can't picture faces or objects you don't see me turning to AI to describe shit. No, I fucking honed my craft and developed a style and found ways to communicate which I made myself and I worked for. You just want to justify theft instead of either improving via practise or facing reality. Writing is not supposed to be easy ffs. Even published authors (including myself mind you) will say that it is a soul-crushing and horrible process, but that struggle is what improves you.

So no, if you rely on a plagiarism chatbot to do the work for you, you were never a writer to begin with.

Well, folks. AI and its collaborators have hit a new low. As an ADHDer with mostly neurodivergent family, friends, and coworkers, I’m very quick to stand up for the neurodivergent and mentally challenged to insist that they are more than society likes to admit.

This ad, program, whatever the fuck- it is a great big fucking insult to us all. It stereotypes, it infantilizes, and it misleads. AI does not help the neurodivergent. AI does not help anyone. Fuck AI and don’t fall victim to this bullshit.

I'm gonna be completely honest I'm starting to get tired of people going 'aces can have sex' 'asexuality is a SPECTRUM' in my reblogs every time I post about asexuality where I literally haven't implied or said otherwise and I've honestly thought about deleting some of them. Like... I know guys. I know. I'm either speaking on my own experience which isn't sex favourable or from a Black and/or lesbian POV of asexuality which would include sex favourable aces anyway so it should go without saying.

It's getting similar to how I see 'lesbians can have sex with men'. I'm fully aware lesbians have the physical means to do so, but I wouldn't wanna hear that in a lesbian space for centring the experiences of people who don't, especially lesbians who were coerced and/or forced into doing so. As long as lesbophobia exists, that statement can't be neutral and the wider context will always shape how I see it. I don't need to be reminded I can conform to the thing I'm actively going against. I don't want to and I can't.

We can acknowledge how diverse and varied a community is but it's disingenuous to pretend there's a single uniform experience throughout. Going 'everyone is valid' is cute but it doesn't address the specific problem, which is compulsory sexuality. In this case, the constant need to derail sex repulsed, averse and indifferent aces in our own posts and conversations does compulsory sexuality's job for it. I'm reminded of my 'wasted' sexual potential on a regular basis I don't need my own community doing it too.

As respectfully as possible, not every single asexual post is gonna personally represent you. I don't go into aro spaces and expect to be centred or represented because those weren't made for me and that's okay. Asexuality is a wide spectrum with lots of sides. I'm not part of all those sides and that's okay.
