#adhd stims
Note
hey Leon :)
i have ADHD too! i relate to a lot of your posts cause of that and i also just relate to you as a person as well! we've got a lot in common actually, and you can interpret that as good OR bad😎
SO, you having ADHD, do you have any stims? if so, what are your favorite ones?
mine are bouncing my legs, tapping my fingers together, listening to one song on repeat, shaking my fists and rocking back and forth
buut apart from that, i hope youve had a good day! not getting into too much trouble i hope?? doubtful but still
Heeeey!!!! 🤌🏾💙
Thanks for saving me from the misery that is the notifs of two people reblogging their sarcastic flirting thingy- Dee & Dragons get a room or something, gosh, but please NOT HERE
I'm ALWAYS interpreting someone relating to me as positive. I'm just very amazing & so must be you ;)
My favourite stims???
Lemme think...
I enjoy fidgeting with my mask
Doing random moves with my katana ~
LISTENING TO MY FAVOURITE MUSIC & SINGING TO IT LIKE I'M THE ONLY ONE IN THE WORLD
Drinking bubble tea 🧋
These orbeez balls are quite nice to fidget with too
I have a blue metallic tangle that I can't get enough of, it's SO SHINY
MY BLONDE WIG aka twirling the hair
Chewing gum, especially strong flavoured gum
Watching pleasing visuals (like, these wonderful sparkling space vids? And oceanography vids)
I like swaying & rocking too :D
Annoying Donnie by cuddling him when I know it won't hurt him, I SWEAR TO EVERY GOD THST EXISTS, HE LIKES BEING CUDDLED BUT HE HATES TO ADMIT IT!!!!!!!! ALERT, THIS NERDY TURTLE LOVES AFFECTION & IS A SUCKER FOR IT.
Cuddling in general is nice, I love it, makes me feel safe & calms me down
Jumping from big height's & then portal to safety - gives me the chiiiiiiills
WATER. Just playing with & bathing in WATER.
Wow, I listed so many already! This list is not complete though. :D

Such a cool ask, everyone reblog with your stims!

I've tried to learn how to snap my fingers for years and kept failling. But because of a stim that I've started doing in the last few months -tapping one of my fingers at once against my thumb, mostly my index and middle finger- which made me accidentally snap my fingers a couple times. Decided to practice it afterwards and now can snap my fingers without any problems......
So that's the story of how I accidently learned how to snap my fingers because of one of my ADHD stims.

I think people don’t give rocking chairs enough credit. Talking from an autism and ADHD standpoint, it’s the ultimate stim chair. You can rock back and forth, back and forth for hours and nobody will question it.
Definitely getting one if I get my own place.

"Snoezelen is a therapy for people with autism, developmental disabilities, dementia or brain injury. It consists of placing the person in a soothing and stimulating environment, called the "Snoezelen room", a form of sensory room. These rooms are specially designed to deliver stimuli to various senses, using lighting effects, colour, sounds, music, scents, etc."
