I'm currently GMing a Mutants in the Now RPG campaign in the After The Bomb setting: mutated animals in a post-apocalypse future United States. We ran a one-shot first to try the system out, with pre-gen PCs inspired by The Musicians of Bremen. The player of Macavity the cat thief liked the concept so much, they remade them for the actual campaign. Incidentally, I'm also playing a Pathfinder campaign that has ended up with a cat and a fox PCs (Catfolk and Kitsune). Odd that it happened twice.
