Alien x Anonymous Reader (Sfw)
(Got to write a little something for my new alieum speices! : > I hope you enjoy! )
It was a whole different experience to arrive at an intergalactic hub with no way to communicate. The typical buzz of translated voices in your ear was replaced with a cacophony of musical sounds, clicking, trills and other inhuman vocalizations. Not that you hadn’t heard them before, but while your tech was working you had been more focused on conversations you could hear and understand. The ability to understand the world around you newly disrupted by static that had buzzed and sputtered angrily into your eardrum. Now that your com portal had chosen the most inopportune time to fizzle out on you, this typical background din had engulfed your attention. A choir of many different voices and dialects, none of which sounded anything remotely like something you could comprehend.
You startled as you were pushed into the crowd, trying to evade one pushy lifeform had you accidentally colliding into another.
You brought your hands up in a plaintive gesture. “Sorry, I’m sorry,” The being blinked at you, tilting its head this way and that, pinchers moving silently. The realization hit hard, without your device working, they couldn’t understand you either. A wave of embarrassment rolled over you as you tried to gesture with your hands. Pointing towards your ear and waving your hands back and forth.
“My com is broken, I can’t um—- Ugh!” The only thing you could think of is to bow apologetically and hurry away before you get yourself into any more trouble.
“This stinks,” You mutter to yourself. “I can’t even ask for my ship to be refueled without this stupid thing working.” You exit the flowing crowd to stop at a quiet space and take a deep calming breath. A hand placed on your heart as you tried to steady your nerves. You didn’t like crowds at the best of times, all those bodies pressing in on you from every direction made your heart do panicked backflips in your chest. You counted your inhale as you felt your lungs rising up against your ribcage. Letting out the exhale for as long as you can stand before starting the pattern again. From this vantage point the crowds don't look that bad, the noise wasn’t as jarring, and you begin to feel like you can breathe easy again.
You observe one distinct looking alien waddling across the shiny tilted floor. It was a species you hadn’t seen before. They had a long snaked head and neck that smoothed into a humanoid torso but ended with a quadruped body with stumpy legs. Like an alligator with the head of a snake, that was fused with a human torso inbetween. With the air of some kind of strange centaur, it waddled along slowly. Its squat lizard legs padded with a pair of synthetic boots that were form fitted to its reptilian toes. It was amusing to note that a lot of aliens gave this being a wide berth, and it made you smile.
At least some beings in the galaxy weren’t letting themselves be pushed around. This fella was taking life in their own stride, and nobody dared telling them to hurry up. At least, not that you could hear anyway. That long neck swiveled towards you, and you saw six white glassy eyes peer at you from above the snake like snoot. You duck your head apologetically, quick to look away. You fumble to retrieve your cell device out of your pocket, looking through the maps of the station. “It looks like there's a help desk on the next floor. . . I am going to hope and pray that someone can understand english.”
Staying at the fringes of the crowd you stick close to the shiny chrome walls, hopping into an elevator that would bring you onto the next level. You do a surprise double take as they see the alligator snake centaur standing alone in the elevator. It’s beady eyes trained on you. The door closes with a ping and the two of you stand awkwardly together.
The being scratches its throat with a clawed hand, before what sounds like a symphony of crickets, come from the back of its throat.
You blink, your eyebrows shooting up at the sound.
“Um. . . Excuse me?”
More cricket sounds, and you grimace awkwardly, before nervously tapping at your ear.
“I can’t— er, I don’t— understand you.”
The pitch drops, sounding more like a swarm locust than crickets. It’s snout cracking open slightly to be able to produce the sound. You fidget anxiously, shoving your hand in your pocket to produce your com, then gesturing with your hands. Tucking the com into one palm before bringing your fists together, thumb down. Then you pull your hands, twisting your wrists. Mimicking a gesture that would be akin to snapping a stick.
“My com is broken,” You tap at your ear again, then demonstrate with your hands.
“Broken.”
You hear crickets again, and rub the back of your neck sheepishly. “I’m really sorry, I didn’t mean to crowd your elevator.” You perk up as the elevator door slides open, and with a sigh of relief you smile and wave to the strange alligator centaur.
“Well ah, I would say thanks for the chat, but um, you can’t understand me anyway. Haha, h-have a good day?” You step out onto the new platform, raising a hand to your forehead to try and see around the wave of new colorful station inhabitants. With your phone in one hand and your com back into your pocket you begin to navigate your way through the second floor.
Stopping with a sigh at the counter.
“Hi,” You begin, a deep baritone rumble coming from the severe looking creature from across the desk. Its deep forebrow raises skeptically as you smile awkwardly.
“Uh, uh, here!” You slide the com over the counter, and the being picks it up with a frown.
“It’s. . . ah”
You glance behind you as the reptilian being from the elevator waddles up to the counter. Their sixed glazed pearly eyes peer at you. “Did you need the help desk too?”
Crickets.
Crickets that the alien at the desk is able to hear, the brooding chiseled features lighten with understanding. A growly rumble coming from deep within its chest as it bares its teeth. Obviously laughing at you as your new friend explains your predicament.
“Hey!” You throw your hands up in defeat, “It wasn’t like I wanted to run around not being understood!”
You scrunch your nose as the two beings then engage in conversation, leaving you promptly in the dust. The alien behind the counter rises, pulling a monitor screen over for you, as words begin to jitter across the glass.
“Language?” The metallic voice hums boredly.
“Ah-Earthian English please, thank you so much.”
“You’re welcome,” replies the Ai, a little nicer than before.
You visibly sag in relief as english words start scrolling across the screen.
[ Communicator is down? ]
“Yes!” You wheeze in exhaustion and relief. There’s more rumbling laughter and a flash of teeth from the bulky alien at the desk.
[ Damn, that’s rough ]
“Oh man, you have no idea, I think I was going to start hyperventilating here, soon. Do you think you can fix it?”
[ I’ll take a look at it and see what I can do. If not, there is a place at the station where you can buy a new one. I’ll wire the store coordinates to your phone, what’s the number? ]
“You’re a life saver, it’s 177-333-9973-602, I can’t thank you enough.”
You bring up your phone, tapping it to the ai screen and it plings as the new information comes through.
[ If I can’t get your com fixed, I will tell the owner you’re heading their way. ]
You take a deep breath and nod.
“Okay, thank you. Thank you again.”
The alien grunts, an amused smile still scrawled over their broad face as they turn away to tinker with the com.
“Well,” You say, turning to your snooted friend, “This has been quite a day, and it’s not even lunch yet.”

How to train your pet Human pt.2 (Yandere!Alien X GN!Reader)
part 1, part 3
CW: Abduction, imprisonment, yandere themes, death, pet/owner relationship, tickle torture, humiliation, sexual themes, angst
"There they are~" Kirtch bent to pick (Reader) up, lifting them easily like a child and carrying them with one hand under their butt. (Reader's) face scrunched up in embarrassment. They were wearing an ugly shirt, both baggy and synched tightly, flowy around the body but locked in place like a neck corset at the top and wrists. When Kirtch first presented the tacky gift, (Reader) had ran to hide, forcing Kirtch to wrestle the outfit onto them.
With all of the unnecessary buttons and ties, (Reader) was incapable of taking it off themselves, and was now sulking.
"I have a lot of duties today that cannot be completed in my office, so I thought you might enjoy coming with me so you don't have to be couped up alone." Kirtch gently knocked his forehead into (Reader's).
'Escape chance, escape chance, escape chance-' "Yeah, that sounds nice." (Reader) tried to contain their excitement, consciously aware of their heart beating loudly in their chest.
"Wonderful! I've packed a couple of toys to keep you occupied if you get bored, as well as snacks." He replied happily, seeming so pleased with himself as he briskly walked down the hall from his bedroom towards the main hall. The two passed by many other aliens walking up and down the corridors, none of whom seemed to be the same species as Kirtch. Everyone wore the same cloak, standing them out from the creatures in the shopping district, a uniform slightly lighter in color than Kirtch's. Most would pause while walking to rub a hand over where their noses should have been, and Kirtch would raise a hand in response.
"What are they doing?" (Reader) whispered.
"It is a sign of respect. I am their superior, so if they are not in a rush to get somewhere they are greeting me."
Fear tickled (Reader's) spine. "Are you guys in the military?"
Kirtch laughed, a high pitch clicking sound that almost sounded like a broken music box. "No. I'm just an upper level leader in our trading company."
They arrived in front of a decorated wall, and Kirtch squeezed (Reader) a little while smiling. "Now this is a very important meeting, I need you to be as quiet as possible, okay?"
(Reader) huffed. "I'm not a child."
"I know you aren't. You're a very sweet pet, who is most definitely a grown adult human."
They felt humiliated. It had been almost a month since they were bought by Kirtch, and they did everything in their power to not anger him or appear as though they needed "release". (Reader) constantly watched and waited for the perfect escape attempt, while fighting off Kirtch's affections in as non threatening a way as possible. Like they were emulating a cat. (Reader's) skin burned, but they held back their tongue.
The wall opened, revealing a board room (at least that's what (Reader) assumed it was), a bare room only decorated with a long table surrounded by stools. Kirtch sat (Reader) on the floor and pulled out a sack from the inside of his cloak. While they didn't want to immediately act the part of a good pet, (Reader) was curious as to what was in the bag. The first thing they pulled out, however, was a taxidermied cat. (Reader's) eyes widened, and they couldn't contain their anxiety, shaking as they stared into the cat's glass eyes. Was this some kind of threat?
"Do you like it? I've been meaning to buy you more human toys, so I thought you would appreciate a stuffed animal." Realizing that the 'gift' was not malicious, the nervousness immediately dissolved into mental fatigue.
"Oh. I get it. Stuffed animal. Yeah." They put the animal back in the bag, hoping Kirtch didn't think their exhausted smile was permission to buy more dead bodies.
More aliens entered the room, greeting Kirtch before taking their seats. (Reader) couldn't understand what the meeting was about, since they were all speaking in Kirtch's native tongue, but their voices and faces were tense. The meeting went on for well over an hour, but (Reader) found it surprisingly entertaining, dubbing over their conversation inside their mind like Mystery Science Theater, chuckling with how wild their hand movements were. It was very human of them.
(Reader) fucked up, accidently snorting at one of the angrier aliens. Although they didn't understand the language, one of his sentences sounded awfully like "Pineapple farts", and with how intense his face was, it made it seem like he was describing how his ass felt. Their sound was so quiet it was almost inaudible, but the alien still noticed and spun his head in (Reader's) direction so quickly his exoskeleton creaked. (Reader) bit their lip to hide a smile, turning away from the conference to pretend to munch on their fruit (?) slices.
The irate alien began ranting louder, and (Reader) caught a word they had heard from a few of the underlings they had been introduced to. Bah-blk. Human.
Shit.
They snuck a glance towards the group very slowly to view Kirtch's expression, worried they may have angered him by interrupting the meeting. And indeed, his almost perfectly flat face was pulled into a scowl, but it wasn't aimed at (Reader).
"(Reader), pet, could you come here for a moment?"
His voice was light and smooth, as it always was when speaking to (Reader), but Kirtch's face was grave as he refused to break eye contact with the alien in front of him; said alien's shell glistened like he was sweating under Kirtch's glare. (Reader), not wanting to be punished later, left their spot on the floor and shuffled over to their owner. Kirtch pulled (Reader) into his lap the second they were within his reach, still staring daggers at the poor alien across the table.
He spoke to the offender, holding (Reader) lovingly with one arm as if to make a point. The man was panicked, waving his arms and sweating profusely, sounding apologetic. It wasn't enough, whatever it was he was saying. He referenced (Reader) as Bah-blk again, and then he was dead.
Before (Reader) could understand what it was that Kirtch had pulled out of his robe, a soundless shot was fired across the table, green blood splattering across the wall as the alien's head was pierced by some kind of projectile.
Everyone turned away, unsurprised by the killing. It was a lukewarm reaction, as though this wasn't the first time they witnessed someone die at Kirtch's hand. The body fell, head slamming into the table with a wet thud.
(Reader) didn't know what he had said, but to kill him... It was jarring. The young adult hadn't payed any attention to the tears dripping down their chin until Kirtch wiped them off. The roughness of his hand startled (Reader), making them flinch away from his touch.
For the rest of the meeting (Reader) couldn't pry their eyes away from the dead body lying across from them. It was a nightmare seemingly without an end, staring at a corpse while his murderer held (Reader) tenderly, rubbing his thumb on their side absentmindedly while discussing business with colleagues like it was a regular Tuesday.
If (Reader) was more aware, they would be disgusted with themselves for not fighting Kirtch as he picked them up to go back to their room, but they just wanted to go back to the safety of their *bed*, and couldn't force their brain to focus on anything else.
The bed was more like a twin sized pillow nestled in a metal cage, but it was soft and felt secure, like when (Reader) was young and thought that hiding under their blanket would protect them from the shadow people in their closet.
"Are you alright, (Reader)?" Kirtch asked, his voice full of concern.
(Reader) curled up, pulling the blanket tight over their face.
Kirtch sighed, and crouched down by (Reader's) bed. "(Reader), please don't be upset with me. If this is about my colleague, please know that what I did was necessary."
"Murder is never necessary."
"He tried to accuse me of not being.. as invested in the job as I should be. And that the reason for my lack of dedication was you. He used very strong language." Kirtch placed a hand on (Reader's) back. "I told him not to disrespect you. Yet he continued."
(Reader) began crying, shaking under Kirtch's touch. "Are you saying that I'm the reason he's dead?"
"Oh, pet.." Kirtch sighed again, pulling (Reader) out of the fetal position and into his arms. "I've always been incredibly interested in humanity. When I was a young child, there was a 'book' in my father's study about primitive species, and that's how I learned about humans. Did you know that you and I experience life differently from one another? Our brains function differently. We have different pain receptors; our brains' physiology are almost nothing alike; the diseases humans are capable of developing simply for existing are concepts we've never had to worry about. Even how we perceive the color spectrum, humans are so unlike any other sentient species I have met."
"I was so fascinated by Earth, especially by humans. We are not allowed to visit Earth as it is a restricted area, so much of what we know is recorded knowledge from captured defectors. My chances of meeting a human were next to none. Then, we had to dock in Dol-Hu, a shady planet only inhabited by criminals and those in hiding. And wandering through the market, I saw you."
"The one thing I've always wanted, for the past seventy years, I recognized you as a human immediately, even though you were so much cuter than I could have expected. You're so soft, and fragile, in comparison to my armoured flesh. You were bent over, but I knew from descriptions I had memorized what you were. As one who has always loved Earth, I am fluent in every Earth language we know of, so I was excited to communicate with you. I was so eager to have a piece of humanity. And now here you are."
(Reader) rolled over, their heart clenching painfully as they looked up into Kirtch's sadly smiling face. "I wonder what I look like through your eyes."
Their heart began doing somersaults in their throat as the tears continued flowing.
"You may have been the only human I've ever known, but I can say with confidence that you must have been the best humanity had to offer. I only want to give you the best life possible."
(Reader) wrapped their arms around Kirtch's midsection, sobbing loudly. His body didn't bend or squish under the full strength of (Reader's) embrace. And that was how (Reader) fell asleep, crying themselves into a nap.
When they awoke, they were alone, lying in the bed with the cat tucked into their arms. (Reader) left the room to find Kirtch at his desk, working on paperwork. The giant heard (Reader) behind him, and turned his attention on them, smiling as he held out his arms in an offer to pick them up. And much to his surprise, (Reader) willingly entered into his embrace, and allowed him to set them on his lap without pouting or making a fuss.
"I have a few more documents to look over, then I can play with you, okay?"
"Okay." Their voice was quiet and monotone, (Reader's) mind still fuzzy from crying so much before falling asleep.
"Are you still upset? Is there anything I can do to make you happy?"Kirtch laid down his work, trapping (Reader) in his arms.
"No.. you can continue working."
"You're more important than my work. I consider your unhappiness to be a crises."
Worry began to prick at (Reader's) skin. "I'm really fine, we don't need to play!"
"Need?"
Memories of the day (Reader) was bought flashed through their mind, causing them to go red and hot as they started to squirm in Kirtch's embrace. "I-I- didn't mean it like that!"
One hand left (Reader's) body to grab something from Kirtch's desk. "Don't fret, I recently purchased a new toy I thought would bring you joy."
(Reader's) eyes bulged out as they froze in anticipation, their heart hammering in their chest. But what Kirtch retrieved did not appear safe to go near any genitalia, a strange contraption formed of multiple thin prongs on a handle. Embarrassed that they had assumed something sexual was about to happen, (Reader) bit the inside of their cheek, puzzling over the strange discomfort they were feeling. "What's that?"
Kirtch raised (Reader's) shirt, and dragged the device across their skin, causing an involuntary shudder. It tickled.
"Ah! No!" (Reader) accidentally laughed, trying to push Kirtch away. He trailed the toy from their pelvic area visible above their pants to their left armpit. The light tingling sensation forcibly clenched their stomach muscles as they let loose a howl of laughter.
They couldn't breathe correctly, laughing so hard that their spasming abdominals made it feel like they were choking. But they couldn't stop, begging Kirtch to "knock it off" while their cheeks hurt from the smile they had. That damn toy tickled every inch of their body, not even noticing when Kirtch removed their pants. They kicked futilely, unable to break free from the assault. Their sensitive skin was almost becoming painful to the touch, but the laughter only got louder.
"pleASE! KIRTCH, stop!!" (Reader) heaved. Their whole body felt tender, highly reactive to each touch. Which made them aware of the fact that the only thing separating them from Kirtch's lap was a thin pair of underpants. With how they had been writhing on his lap, they were relieved that Kirtch didn't seem to have a dick that could become aroused from such movements.
(Reader's) smile fell. I have no idea how Kirtch's species reproduces. Maybe he can get erections, but he won't get one for me because he sees me as a pet. An animal. Their heart turned to concrete as it dropped out of its cage.
Kirtch halted his attack when he saw (Reader) go limp. "Are you tuckered out, pet?"
(Reader) tried to slide off his lap like jelly. "I'm done playing. I want to go back to bed."
"Alright, my stubborn little grump, what is it now? You were all smiles but a second ago, so what is it plaguing your mind?"
They tried to scrunch up their nose to prevent more tears from sheepishly forming. "I'm not a pet. I'm a human. I want to be treated like an equal!"
Kirtch's smile was replaced by a hurt scowl. "Is it so unpleasant being my pet?"
"No!" (Reader) interjected, not understanding why it pained them so much to see Kirtch upset, "I just want to, I just.. I don't know. This is confusing, and it feels.. weird. You're really nice to me, and sometimes it feels like... but then other times you treat me like I'm a cat. This isn't what I want. Either be a bastard and treat me like an animal or treat me like-" Their words caught in their throat. Treat me like what?!
A fearful kiss was placed on their forehead, ghostly with hardly any pressure. Kirtch's hands trembled on (Reader's) sides. "All I wish is to adore you for the rest of your life."
He pulled (Reader) into his chest, petting their back in a comforting manner. "I'll give you anything you ask for, I'll do anything you ask of me. Just to keep you happy, with me. You are all that I've ever wanted. All I wish is to care for you, and spend all my attention on you. If there is anything you want, please ask me. I need you to love me."
(Reader) felt so confused. Like a squid was destroying their gut, everything was uncomfortable and scary. They knew that Kirtch viewed them as a pet, he loved them how (Reader) loved their family dog as a child. But when they heard him begging for their love, it made them wish for an odd moment that he wasn't an alien. That (Reader) was sitting on their boyfriend's lap right now, a strange human man who sometimes infantalized them but only out of affection. Why couldn't this be simple? Why did (Reader) want him to kiss them right at that moment?
"I want to go home. I want to meet someone kind and fall in love." (Reader's) words stabbed Kirtch in places he never knew could hurt.
"I can't do that, (Reader)..." Kirtch's embrace constricted almost painfully tight. "You're all I've ever wanted. You can't ask me to let you go. I'll take such good care of you, you'll see. I have the rest of your life to make you fall in love with me."
They sat there, holding one another in agonizing silence, both loving each other in a way that they couldn't explain. The way their brains functioned didn't just mean that Kirtch could see a wider range of colors than (Reader), but the way their species experienced love was too vastly different for the other to comprehend. Despite Kirtch wanting to own (Reader), that was the greatest love he had ever felt, since his species did not pair bond and only mated when two beings agreed amicably that they wished to procreate. He knew that humans felt many forms of love, love for a mate, love for their offspring, love for a friend.. but to something that never felt any of those forms of love, Kirtch couldn't understand the difference between them.
"I love you, my little pet. And I will always love you."

      XENOMORPH KING x gn reader
    『 king ,, gender neutral reader 』
-> xeno king hcs | meeting him
  — fluff ,, sfw ,, yautjas are in this universe ,, featuring my ocs panther (yautja talked abt later on in the hcs) & king (the xenomorph ,, briefly mentioned)
  — here are the hcs :D this is kinda somewhat an introduction to meeting king and more hcs will come soon ,, introducing his brothers of sort ,, im making their refs slowly 😭😭🫡 so hopefully those will be up before i decide to actually turn these hcs into a story n stuff
| • it was an assignment from your higher ups ,, heading to a lesser known "shake and bake" colony located on a distant planet where the habitable zone was way out from the sun surprisingly
| • usually habitable zones for planets would be in the middle ,, but this one was farther out ,, though it also made it more dangerous to be on
| • the winters were hot and the summers were cold ,, temperatures would get quite extreme but for the most part humans could somewhat live on there
| • you were sent with a team of two other scientists ,, along with an android ,, to examine and study the planet more
| • it was on one of your more routinely walks and expeditions around the more countryside of the planet that you stumbled upon something that hadnt been picked up before by scanners or drones
| • abandoned and trashed ,, a lab that was quite dark and gruesome to look at stood in the middle of nowhere on the barren planet
| • you werent too sure of what happened there ,, though it was evident it wasnt anything good judging by all the dried up liquid stains ,, the broken glass and scratches all over the wall
| • some of the furniture and walls looked melted ,, like somewhat poured lava on it and left it there
| • alone on this expedition ,, you took your notes and marked the location on a map of the planet ,, making a mental note to come back soon
| • the more you looked around the more frightening and on edge you became ,, finding skeletal remains of creatures you werent too sure what they were
| • vials were stored away in a broken down freezer ,, or you assumed so based on their labels in an unknown language and strange color
| • there were vials with many strange colors ,, making you second guess if it even was blood inside them ,, vials storing blue and green and orange
| • none looked indigenous ,, as the most the planet had to offer were these strange rodents that burrowed in the ground most the time ,, almost like those naked molerats from your own home planet ,, except these ones werent as terrifying to look at
| • though the more on edge you became the more curious you got ,, wondering what happened here exactly
| • documents were spilt on the ground ,, scattered about and dirtied up ,, some ripped apart and some with strange prints on them
| • without much of a second thought you took them ,, hoping that maybe you could decode the foreign language and figure out what was happening in this place before it became abandoned
| • you gathered what you could of the place ,, taking a few of the vials and gathering photo evidence of the area
| • while doing so ,, you werent aware of the fact you were being watched ,, stalked and observed by an unknown creature in the vicinity
| • when you got back to the base and showed your findings your crewmates were interested ,, the android apart of your team quickly recognizing the language in the documents
| • it belonged to these creatures called 'yacht-ja' ,, or something of those sorts ,, but he wasnt able to provide much else about the documents other than that
| • you planned to go back to the lab the next week ,, wanting to gather as much information on the area as you could before you left the planet and headed back to the mothership
| • after all ,, you were here for only research and study ,, all your findings on the planet would be taken back aboard the mothership for examination and peer review from other scientists aboard
| • the goal was to gather as many samples as possible ,, document as much as you could ,, and return to your station to head to another planet and repeat the process
| • packing a large lunch in case you stayed longer than expected ,, or did too much running around and had little food ,, you headed off back towards the lab with storage for as much information and to store as many samples as possible
| • your camera was ready ,, taking as many pictures as you could whilst also grabbing more vials from the lab itself ,, storing them away in your vehicular device to take back
| • you didnt pay too much attention to the time ,, more focused and fascinated with the lab around you ,, documenting all the rooms and trying to map out exactly how big it was
| • though something about the place did feel uneasy ,, almost like you werent meant to be here at all in the first place
| • not focusing too much on the feeling you continued ,, going through all the documents and photographing the bright green stains on the wall from who knows what
| • there were a few times you thought you saw something in the corner of your eye ,, almost like a figure yet when you looked there was nothing there ,, like a ghost was playing tricks on you
| • the longer you stayed ,, the more uneasy and skeptical you became of the place ,, not feeling the once comforting and interest as last week
| • when you had finished you gathered your equipment to head back to the base ,, noticing how cold and dark it had gotten and hoping you'd be back in time before the base was put on a lockdown for the night ,, usually for safety precautions as not much was known about the nightlife on the planet
| • unbeknownst to you the scene you would come back to ,, a foreign ship not of any human making was perched ontop of some of the houses whilst the rest of the place was up in flames
| • those yautja creatures you'd been told about earlier had visited ,, wreaking havoc wherever they went as they quickly went through all the humans living there ,, killing them quickly
| • with the base nowhere in sight you didnt bother sticking around ,, heading away from the place and into the countryside once again
| • though it wouldnt help ,, being followed by one of the creatures as they latched onto your vehicle and slashed at the metal and tires ,, quickly putting an end to your escape a few miles away
| • dark skin clashed well with his bright purple stripes ,, large scar over his eye and covering his body in general ,, with a bright colored chest
| • he didnt stare for too long before trying to get at you ,, chittering something in his language as he slashed away at your windows
| • adrenaline filled you ,, now positioned in a fight or flight situation and your gut told you to flee at that moment ,, crawling over the passenger seat and exiting out the door as you made a run for it into a nearby forest
| • it wasnt too difficult for the yautja to keep up ,, right on your tail as he ran after you
| • though his chase would be cut short ,, a large creature coming from out of the bushes and tackling him
| • too worried you'll be next ,, you didnt bother to stop and look back ,, continuing to run even though your legs burned and your lungs were on fire from how much cold air you were breathing
| • somehow you ended up at that same lab ,, almost like it was tied to you now that youve discovered it
| • it felt like a scene from coraline ,, where she walks away from the house and towards where the old well would be except it all turns white
| • though there wasnt no white barren land here ,, just the same abandoned lab
| • you weren't complaining though ,, as you'd rather be somewhere sheltered than out in the open ,, making your way through the maze of rooms and hallways before settling in a far away one
| • you collapsed to the floor ,, panting heavily as you shivered ,, sweat gathered at your forehead from the running and sudden near death experience
| • your eyes felt heavy ,, drowsy and exhausted yet you stayed awake ,, keeping guard and not trusting yourself to sleep in this place ,, not when there was too much happening
| • without your knowing ,, you had fallen asleep and left defenseless in the room ,, the creature that had taken out the yautja had followed you there
| • it gazed at your sleeping form ,, noticing your unconscious shivering and making a decision in its mind
| • curling its tail around your body ,, warmth slowly started to surround your body ,, somewhat ceasing your shivering
| • it could only wait for you awaken ,, resting its head on the cold ,, harsh ground as it kept you company through the night

Elder is a tired old man and all he ever wants in life is peace and quiet. That said, please hug this man and tell him you love him, he'll melt. Being an elder is no easy business, he has many responsibilities and being the mothership's commander drains him to no end. While his position is highly regarded and of the utmost honor, like any job, Elder often finds himself wanting to scream and run away. Though these thoughts do vanish when your relationship gets serious, of course. Elder feels reborn every time he wakes up by your side. There is just something in seeing you laying next to him on the huge bed you share. Yautjas value this part of relationships to another level; being vulnerable. The feeling he gets when he sees you shift a bit, inching more toward him in your sleep is priceless. Nothing could ever compare to knowing that in those 20 minutes he has before having to get up, it's just you and him. No ship, no clans, no problems. Just the two of you and nothing else. Elder has no time for public displays of affection for he's very busy during his shift, but he tries his best to check on you at least once during the day if your jobs don't align.
NS//FW
While one must think Elder must be sexually satisfied due to his position on the ship, Elder held no real interest in pursuing short term partners. No interest and no time, that is. While Elder is patient and doesn't mind taking things slow, sex with him is intense. He will always favor holding you down and using his weight to pin you down. If you catch him after a particular rough shift, be prepared to be bed ridden for the next day. Another thing he discovers with dating a human is he doesn't need to be in control all the time. He has an awakening when you tell him he should just lie down and leave the rest to you. Quickly becomes a fan of being taken care of once in a while. If you have a praise thing, Elder is right up your alley. Contrary to belief, he's very vocal; his job requires him to be vocal and he definitely has no problem telling you how good you're doing during sex. Just like the praise, he also has no qualms in correcting you if you happen to disobey his rules. While his patience runs thin with overly disobedient/challenging people, hearing you tease to him has him using authority techniques in the best way possible to get you back on track.

MY LAST POST WAS IN FEBRUARY IM SORRY
HERE’S MORE WITCH!READER X VARIOUS MONSTER THINGS I WANT TO INCLUDE IN MY POSSIBLE SERIES
(I’ve never actually written anything longer than the standard college essay, but i really hope to get better and that whoever reads these enjoys them)
(chubby! Reader btw)
Ok so, reader used to spend summers at their grandma’s house (an actual mansion because of old family money) but slowly stops going all together because reader’s parents don’t like the fact that the grandma is teaching their kid magic
So now the family basically neglects the grandma which leads to the local werewolf pack to take in the grandma
Now reader is grown and in their 20’s and the grandma asked one of the werewolf boys to contact them when she dies
So reader inherits the “house” (mansion) and takes the opportunity to move away from their parents.
It’s a small town, think Stars Hollow from Gilmore Girls, and the grandma’s house is basically a town legend because it’s literally the only mansion around, and even when it’s miles away it’s still technically part of the town
So I’d like to incorporate the fact that these’s a whole “secret society” of mythical creatures and monsters that everyone in the town is kinda aware of, but don’t talk about
Like centaurs, fairies, dragons, vampires, and such that just live in the woods
There are humans that use magic there, but very few actually live IN the town
The normal human town people don’t like reader, but most of the non-humans and magic wielders welcome the reader because they knew their grandma and the stories she used to tell them about reader
Werewolves are the ones that meet reader first to help them move in and help give insights into their grandmother’s life after reader was forced to stay away
It’s pretty noticeable that they’re not exactly human, they’re all taller than average for humans like at least 5”11 (especially the women) and naturally pretty buff
Reader is a theater person (you have no way around this i have too much theater knowledge in my head and this will be one of my outlets as a costume design major)
Uhhh if you made it this far please tell me what monsters you want to be added! Be it a creature i haven’t mentioned yet or if you just want another werewolf (because you cant have too many werewolves)

Coming in With another Asexual reader story but this time something different:D
It had been a fun day, both you and Helios had wandered to the next town over, taking in the different restaurants and small shops, getting worn out soon after and making the long drive home. But the driving was always the most fun. Helios had his own star cruiser after all, being a creature from off world and from a more space faring species, he had little things like that.
Though he'd swear up and down that the autopilot was a scam and untrustworthy... That meant you could lounge either in the small sleeping pod with the side open so you could still see and speak with Helios as he piloted, and appreciate the otherworldly image of him.
Deep purple skin, darker runes running along both sets of arms up to his neck. His back legs always made you think of a rabbit but he swore they resembled the Ka'hnr from his home world. An apex predator apparently.
Even his two sets of eyes always caught your attention, a color you couldn't name but to you it seemed blue... Then again there are many colors humans can't see.
You watched his feather tipped tail flicking lazily as he sat at the pilots seat, watching the sky ahead and passing by another flock of birds.
"Heli?" You finally called out after some time, dropping from the sleeping pod and settling in the co-pilot seat you usually were in.
Helios ear twitches towards you as his attention refocuses. "Yes, galaxy?" His voice was as soft as always, focused and gentle.
You ponder for a moment, trying to understand what exactly you had in mind and settling on something you've been thinking about for a while. "I'm trying to decide if there's a difference because of species, or mentality between us." The remark is a warning the conversation might be serious, or humerus. Such conversations tended to be.
As such, you saw Helios's ears both perk up, his tail curling upwards in attention, inquisitively listening to your words. "What exactly would that be this time?"
"You know as far as relationships go along humans, I'm a bit of an outlier in some aspects."
Your words are sincere enough that it gives Helios a pause. To him, you're the only human if not creature he's ever been with, so he's not quite certain to your meaning. "My galaxy, I'm not understanding completely. Whatever differences you notice I'm unaware of but adore you exactly as you are."
And it's just genuine enough to make your cheeks heat up just slightly. "Sweet words, but there really isn't anything missing in your eyes?"
His maw shakes 'no' innocently. "What would I be missing when you are right here?"
"Intercourse?" You supply, something neither of you have done, attempted, or even spoken of.
Helios four eyes blink slowly and he waits a few moments. "Enter what?"
...
"Sex."
"Is that like a food?"
"Food?"
"Yeah, like the human food, 'Sneks'."
"... Snacks?"
"Yeah! Those!"
"Snacks doesn't sound at all like sex?"
"Says the native human speaker."
That earns you a small chuckle. "Fair enough, but you don't know what that is? You know the reproduction process? Most humans see it as vital to a relationship or life." Your explanatory tone drops into something almost bitter, and it doesn't miss Helios attention for a moment.
"So what?" He begins, trying to both lighten the mood and understand exactly what's going on. "I can't think of anything else I'd want to do with you than what we do ... Well, that's a lie. Eventually we're going to have our bonding ceremony and be a bonded pair -and that I'm looking forward to. Maybe taking in a few Starspecks to raise. You know, the little lights that fall from stars? That's all I want with you."
It takes a few moments for his words to register in your mind. "Really? You don't think I'm like... Withholding-?"
Before you can finish he interrupts gently, his lower left arm reaching out to grab yours. "Really. Besides I think I understand what you're referencing and it's something that -while not exclusive to your planet- isn't something every species deals with. I believe the human term for my sort is 'reproduces asexually' and that's if we reproduce at all. Young ones are rare. I'd much prefer Starspecks."
You grip his hand tighter. The realization settling in and leaving you so relaxed and comfortable. You'd never allow yourself to be pressured into that uncomfortable situation but it felt so much better knowing Helios was the same as you, in his own way.
"Would that be alright?" He asks at your silence.
"Yeah." Your voice is quiet enough for him to pull your seat closer so he can wrap both of his left arms wrap around you as you continue. "Yeah, that's alright with me."

Matched | Monster Boyfriend
You liked to say that you had a normal life. It wasn't interesting, but it wasn't bland. You got through school with minimal mishaps, you had a job and you were thinking of getting your masters. And despite some obvious 'gifted kid' burnout symptoms pulling at you every now and again, you liked the life you lived. Most of the time, at least.
Now?
Now you couldn't say your life was normal even if you were being held at gun point.
-<><><><><><><>-
It all started with that stupid 'volunteer' start up group that suddenly came into play and forced a handful of people from selected cities to sign up. You were one of the (un)lucky few that got chosen, given only a day to pack before they picked you up in front of your apartment building and drove you out of the city.
Only the worst thoughts creeped in your head, telling you that you should've ran the moment you were chosen. It was only natural to feel that way, not a single person told you what the start up group was for and every time you tried to ask you were greeted with silence or a small 'Don't worry about it' from the driver.
You did, in fact, worry about it. You worried about it until someone finally let you know what was happening.
The person who let you know was the first person you saw when you walked into the building, a greeter of sorts in an oversized lab coat with their glasses on the tip of their nose. They perked up when they saw you and quickly pulled you away from the driver to lead you down a hall. "Welcome! You're right on time!"
"No one else chosen came with me though," you said. "And no one was in the entrance."
The person laughed, nodding. "Mhm! That's because it's your time. Others have come and gone before you, and they'll come after you. It's just not their scheduled time."
You shot them a confused look, which they didn't notice, waving their hands in the air to motion to everything. "I'm sure you heard already about what you're doing right?"
"No," you shook your head. "I was told not to worry about it. What am I doing?"
Their jaw slacked as they looked at you with a shocked expression. "Jeez...someone's getting fired."
They shook their head and shoved their hands in their coat pockets. "Anyway- what you signed up for is a very important start up group. I'm sure you're aware of the treaty made with King Ralin? Right?"
"Somewhat? It trended for a week and then disappeared off of the face of the Earth." They nodded. "What about it?"
"Well, in every country, a group of individuals are picked out for the group. The numbers vary on size, but that's not the point. Given that you were chosen, you get to go in your own little pod and rocket up into space, right on their planet. We're trying to ease human and alien relations smoothly, and if this goes well, we're hoping that King Ralin will send some of his people down here!" The scientist seemed so excited while explaining this to you, and a frown appeared on their face as they tilted their head at you. "What? Is something wrong?"
"You want me to be a test subject," you said. "I'm supposed to squeeze my ass into a pod and rocket up into space just to act buddy-buddy with aliens who probably aren't used to humans and might just hate my guts?"
"When you put it like that," they pouted, looking away from you. "It won't be as bad as you think. We've already established that no harm is going to come to the start up group or the aliens. So even if they hate you, they can't hurt you."
"What about the need for oxygen?"
"You ask that like aliens don't also breathe air. Your safety is already confirmed. You have nothing to worry about."
You weren't too sure you believed them.
-<><><><><><><>-
It's been exactly two months and five days since you went in that pod and arrived on planet 'Actae'. How you pronounce that in their language was unbeknownst to you, so you've just been calling it planet 'A' in your mind or whenever you needed to talk to another human about the planet.
It wasn't bad, you were able to admit that. Most of the aliens you met seemed to be more than happy to see humans for the first time, and you were able to quickly make friends with two of them, though, they worked with you in the Capital's library, so it mainly came with constantly seeing each other.
And that's where you were when you met him.
Prince Fonir, a cocky son of a bitch who loved to do nothing but tease you relentlessly every time he decided to 'grace' you with his presence. Though, all he did was make you regret choosing the library job no matter how much it suited you.
And unfortunately, today wasn't the day that he stayed home at the castle. Instead, he was mindlessly browsing through the fiction section, looking at the mixture of books that came from both Earth and Actae.
Even if he did, in fact, infuriate you, you couldn't help but stare, eyes glued to the graceful movements of his hands, to the way his long, baby pink hair would cover his face when he dipped his head down ever so slightly to get a better look at the book. You didn't realize how bad it was until you realized that the big pools of galaxies that were his eyes were looking at you as well, a cocky grin on his face, as he tucked the book under his long arm and sauntered over.
You busied yourself, a huff leaving your lips as his light olive green hands placed the book down. "You know, it's rather rude to stare, especially at royalty."
You rolled your eyes, glancing over at the book and using your pointer finger to pull it towards yourself. You lifted the small scanner and pressed it to the book, hearing the high-pitched beep before pushing it back to him and answering, "Really? I wouldn't know, but I don't exactly care either. Isn't being stared at the job of royalty?"
You met his eyes bravely, eyebrow raised. "Which brings me to ask; don't you have anything better to do? You come here twice a week and do nothing but try to stir something. Don't you have your own library, your highness?"
"I do," he admitted. "But my library doesn't have a Jarïle for a librarian."
Your brows furrowed trying to figure out what he had just called you in his language, but nothing clicked, and you breathed a huff through your nose. Forcing yourself not to rub the bridge of your nose to try and ease a little of your annoyance out, you clicked your tongue and took one look at the screen-less computer in front of you. "Next month on the second. Bring in the book then or before. I'm not afraid of charging a prince a late fee."
He loomed over the computer and met your eyes once more before tucking the book under his arm again and turning on his heel, walking towards the front doors. You watched him leave, happy this encounter was shorter than the rest and that you could return to your own book faster.
But what he called you was still repeating in your mind, you doubt you could pronounce it correctly without five hundred tries, but when Jorik came out of the back room, you quickly approached her. "Jorik! I need your help."
She tilted her head, pushing her braid behind her with a small chuckle. "What do you need help with?"
You opened your mouth, but closed it quickly, contemplating on actually asking, and if she'll even know what you mean, considering how much you're probably going to botch the word. But, you ask her anyway. "What's a...jarile...?"
Her smile faltered as a confused expression overtook her face, her pale blue eyes narrowing slightly before she asked, "Do you mean jarïle?"
"Yea," you confirmed, hand moving to bashfully scratch the back of your neck. "What does it mean?"
"It means fire starter," she answered. "Where'd you hear that?"
"The Prince was in...again." You didn't hide the annoyance that bubbled in your tone suddenly, Jorik already well introduced to your dislike to the royal. She looked around however, smile faltering until you wave your hand in front of her face. "He left, don't worry."
She shook her head and focused her gaze back on you, raising an eyebrow. "What about Prince Fonir?"
"He was the one that called me it," you said, a small scoff coming out when you were done. "The hell is his issue with me anyway? I'm just trying to get through the day, just like everyone else."
"Korlae." You shut up at the nickname. It meant honey, but Jorik liked how it sounded in her language more. You couldn't blame her. "Jarïle is an affectionate term."
You blinked, pulling your head back slightly. "What?"
Jorik let out a soft laugh, the sound slightly echoing in the quiet space. With a nod, she walked herself over to the stool, sitting on it to lower herself to be eye to eye with you. "You've never called someone you like a fire starter? Trouble?"
"You act like I've had a partner," you said, sitting in the stool beside hers, lifting it up just a bit. "Don't you guys have matchmakers though?"
She was quiet for a moment, brows furrowed before they lift and hide behind her bangs when she realized. "Oh! K-Kinda? They find our soulmate. I don't know how they do it, but it's a day of celebration for us. It only happens once, when we turn twenty-three in human years."
She smiled fondly. "I only have a few months until it's my turn. Soran has a year for his. And Prince Fonir's is in a week, it's going to be huge. Everyone wants to know who the lucky Horæl is."
"Remind me what that means?" You knew she knew what you meant, and she chuckled at your lack of an attempt at saying it.
"It's basically our equivalent of 'alien'. Like how humans call other humans...humans." Another chuckle left her. "Anyway, they're going to play it all over the planet, since, Prince Fonir is going to take the crown when he's twenty-five. It's important to know who'll rule beside him."
"Yea..." You said, voice drifting off when you're reminded of the similarities for the royals back on Earth and on Actae. "I get it."
"Good, because I'm gonna invite both you and Soran over to watch it with me. I don't think I'll be able to watch it alone." You smiled at how excited she seemed over it, pushing back how annoyed he made you to grab her hand with a nod.
"'Course, I wouldn't miss it for the world, Jorik."
-<><><><><><><>-
The library -like other places- was closed on Prince Fonir's birthday, so instead of having to work and going with Jorik and Soran to Jorik's apartment, you were able to go straight to it. Fortunately for you, she lived fifteen minutes away from your apartment, just a couple blocks down.
You were hardly able to knock before the door swung open and Jorik loomed over you with an excited grin spread across her face. "You made it just in time, it's about to start!"
She yanked you inside and shut the door behind her, ushering you towards the large couch that sat in the living room area of her loft. "You can sit beside Soran."
With a nod, you do, waving over to Soran as he smiled at you and lifted his hands to sign, 'She's pretty excited.'
You chuckled, nodding in response before glancing over at the Horæl who's happily tapping her foot against the floor, the sound creating an unrhythmic melody. "Is it because of the Prince or because she really likes this ceremony?"
You looked back at him, eyes focused on his hands when he responded, 'Both.'
"Ah," is all you were able to say back before the 'be right back' sign on the holographic tv screen switched to show the castle, the crowd around it immense, everyone -humans and Horæls alike- wanting to see who was paired with Fonir .
It switched to inside the castle, showing a gaggle of nobles standing in the throne room. None of them paid the camera that was practically in their faces any mind, all of them chatting amongst each other, or keeping to themselves. There was no noise of it though, only a narrator explaining the importance of the ceremony.
Everything seemed to quiet down though when King Ralin stepped out, his usual event outfit on, just without the cloak he carried on his shoulders. Then, when he stepped out of the way, Prince Fonir came out from the same doorway.
All you could do was stare as the camera focused on him, following his every move as his hands picked at his outfit, the usual monotoned colors he wore exchanged for bright, flashy colors. Purple, pink and gold.
His hair was let down and the two braids pulled to the back of his head kept his hair from his face, since the crown he was wearing wouldn't have helped. Pink touched his cheeks and ears, and his eyes were trained on the ground.
He was nervous.
A light nudge to your foot pulled you out of you thoughts, and you snapped your head away from the tv, looking at Jorik. "For someone who hates him, you seem to like staring at him. Your cheeks are red, Korlae."
Your heart skipped a beat and you shook your head, letting out a small scoff. "I was just seeing how nervous he is."
It wasn't a lie, but it wasn't all that you saw.
She merely gave you a once over and turned back to the tv, letting you do the same. You were greeted with Fonir standing in front of his father's throne, fists against his sides as the nobles stepped to the side, giving both him and King Ralin space to get the ceremony going.
Two other Horæls came out of the doorway opposite to the one the Prince and King came out of, but they were dressed just as flashy, and if Jorik's excited little noise was anything to go by, you would've assumed that they were officials. They looked older than both King Ralin and Fonir, which amazed you, since King Ralin was definitely older than he looked.
One bowed their head to Fonir before he lifted his arms and allowed them to push up his sleeves, baring his forearms to the other official. The other one produced something like a pen, but when the camera focused on what the official was doing with said pen-like tool, you watched it shallowly cut his wrist three times, though no blood surfaces.
You turn to Soran with a confused expression and lucky enough, he seems to catch it, hands moving fast as he explained, 'The knife takes the blood and they put it in a pen that creates an eternal symbol.'
"...Oh," you said, eyebrows raising slightly as you turned back to the tv. The unrhythmic tapping returned as the three of you watched as Fonir's bright blue blood falls into a pen, the process looking extremely drawn out until it's filled completely.
Fonir's eyes are closed tightly, and you remember the dramatic endeavor you went through when he accidentally got a papercut one day at the library. To say he was good with pain would be a complete lie.
You wanna do the same as him however, when you finally realize how interested you are in knowing who the Horæl'll be. You shouldn't even care, if anything you could be a little happy, it'd get him out of the library more often than not. But you did, even if you weren't sure why.
The symbol basically drew itself on his wrist, covering the already healing cuts and forming something odd, a mandala looking symbol that you couldn't get a good look of, but yet you still glanced over at Jorik because you were in serious need of an explanation. But when she looked at you and Soran, you were met with the same confused look.
"You never actually told me how they found the soulmate, Jorik..." You said, but as she opened her mouth to answer, you heard a gasp from a certain Prince.
You couldn't move your head faster to face the screen, eyes focused on what's in front of you as you, Jorik and Soran watched him look at the symbol with wide eyes. There were whispers in the background in the castle, and the camera stayed where it was when Fonir leaned to his father to whisper something to him.
You saw King Ralin's eyes widen, just like Fonir's was seconds ago. Then you heard one of the official's speak, their voice loud and commanding when they announced, "The symbol belongs to a human."
The air around you seemed to stop as Jorik's tapping silenced and a throaty noise left Soran.
Prince Fonir was paired with the impossible.
-<><><><><><><>-
Every human that was sent to Actae, two hundred to be exact, were ordered to go to the castle the moment the cameras shut off, said order being sent specifically to your phone, rather than everyone's. A shaky breath left you when you read the message over and over.
"So..." Jorik started after a while, "you have a chance-"
"I'm not going to think about that," you cut her off. "I'm just gonna go to the castle and then I'm gonna watch it happen with one of the others."
You stood, shoving your phone into your pocket before walking to the door. "Maybe it's a misunderstanding. Maybe, and here's a thought, Fonir doesn't have a match."
A sigh breached your lips and you opened the door, looking back as you stepped out. "I call you when I find out."
Jorik nodded and Soran gave you a small smile, which you returned before walking out fully and shutting the door behind you.
You walked the distance to the castle, ignoring the looks you got as you were walking. They weren't bad per-se, but you could tell some of them didn't really like the possibility of a human ruling over them.
Not that you blamed them. It's only been three months since the first humans came to Actae, it's already a big change, and to know that one of them is going to rule with the Prince when he turns twenty-five is an even bigger change.
The stares only got worse when you arrived at the castle, your hands holding your arms as you walked in and avoided the looks of the maids that walked through the halls. The only one that didn't stare was the one leading to the throne room, explaining what to do when you walked in. "Stand straight and look them in the eyes when they talk to you, use your right hand to shake theirs and nod your head to bow. Speak when spoken to and when they let you all go, you can return to your home. But only when they allow you to leave."
She turned to you and waited for you to nod in understanding before she pushed the door open. You straightened your posture and walked in, fingers digging into your arm as you saw the other humans, all of them off to the side. You made haste joining them.
When you decided to look at anything other than your peers, you gazed over to the throne and met Fonir's eyes, and for once, you felt something other than annoyance when you saw the small smile on his face. He looked almost relieved to see you, his left hand holding his right wrist, as if he was hiding it.
You looked to your sides, and then back at him when you decided to do the one thing you know you'll just deny when it was brought up later. You lifted your hand from your arm and gave him a small wave. He did the same after a quick glance towards his father, confirming that he was still talking to the officials.
It didn't take long for the others to show up, no one really wanting to make the King to the new planet they're living on upset. It made you feel a little better when you noticed that everyone else was nervous, or at least happy you weren't the only one that looked like they might about cave in on themselves.
Fonir stood behind his father when it was made known that you were all there, and they stood in the middle of the room, the Prince's eyes trained on the ground again. You stared at the King and forced your shoulders back, listening to him when he started to speak, "I'm certain you all know why you're here, one of you happens to be my son's match."
'Getting straight to the point...thank god," you thought, appreciating King Ralin not beating around the bush.
"I thought this would be a simple process, considering no one else had been paired with a human before the 'start-up', but, as it turns out, not everything can be as simple as you want it." There was a small laugh that left his lips and he clasped his hands together. "And because I would hate keeping everyone here for hours, anyone who volunteers and is not the match, can leave as soon as it's confirmed. If we find the match before everyone gets a chance, everyone but the match can leave immediately."
Fonir glanced up and took one large swoop of the crowd, then his eyes fell back onto you. You felt his stare, but it quickly turned away from you when the first volunteer happened to walk up to him, bowing.
You didn't want to look, but yet, you did. You watched as the first five got rejected, you watched as one took longer than the others only to fail and you watched as Fonir got impatient.
His eyes met yours again, and the silent look of pleading on his face made you go after the fifteenth person, raising your hand slowly and silently. You only walked up to him when the King nodded and you nodded your head at Fonir, finally getting a good look at the symbol.
It was a mandala alright, but, the longer you looked at it, the more familiar it got. You lifted your hand from its position on your arm and traced it, stopping only when you felt a searing pain in your left wrist. You hissed and stepped back, tearing your hand away from him before grasping your wrist, pressing against your wrist.
Fonir's eyes were wide as he watched you, your face contorted in pain as you tightly held your wrist, the pressure easing it just a little. "Jarïle," you heard him start through deafened ears, "...move your hand."
You could hardly hear the whispers that came after Fonir spoke, and all you could feel was the burning in your wrist until you saw a green hand slowly clasp over yours. You leaned into the cool touch letting him pull your hand away, only to reveal the same symbol that was on his wrist. Though, instead of it being drawn, it was burned into your skin, like it was made with a branding iron.
King Ralin was at Fonir's side in no time at all, pale white eyes looking back and forth between your marks. "...That's never happened before."
"Being matched with a human hasn't happened either, Fonir," his father pointed out. "I suppose you found your match."
The collective whispers seemed to quiet down immediately when it was announced and the next thing you knew was that King Ralin was wishing everyone but you a farewell and to 'have a safe trip home'. Then the throne room's doors were shut and you were left alone with the two.
Silence blanketed over the three of you and you pulled your hand away from Fonir, eyes falling to the floor as you heard echoed footsteps and then Ralin's voice, "So, I assume you two have already met."
You nodded, but Fonir talked before you could, "They work at the Capital's library, father."
You lifted your head slightly, only to see the King's eyes as he looked at you, a small smile on his face. You pulled your left arm behind your back to nod at him slightly, the burning feeling in your arm slowly dispersing with each moment. His smile widened and his short, neon pink hair tipped to the side when he tilted his head. "Are you sure jarïle is the right nickname for them, Fonir?"
You felt Fonir's eyes on you again, and you met his eyes. "I think it suits them a lot."
Everything you had on your tongue died when you saw him look at you, and you hated how you were anything but annoyed at it. You didn't like the butterflies that formed in your stomach when he gave you a small smile and winked. And you didn't like how you knew that his teasing would just come back tenfold because of this.
"It's just going to get worse," you finally responded after a long moment, and his smile widened at it.
"I wouldn't expect anything less from you, Jarïle." The King laughed and rested a hand on Fonir's shoulder. You appreciated the genuine happiness from Ralin. It was a change from Earth's leaders. Though, he was actually doing a good job.
"I'll leave you two to discuss. We'll all talk at dinner tonight about what the future holds for the both of you. Alright?" You glanced up at him, noticing the 'alright' was more for you, than Fonir. You nodded after a small pause, giving him a slight smile. "Great. I'll see you two later."
Fonir gave his father a small wave before his hand was back on yours and he slowly pulled you to the throne. "So, this is..."
He didn't continue, so you did for him. "Tragic? Dreadful? Terrible? Horrible? Am I getting warmer?"
"Ice cold," he responded simply. "It's something."
"What's something supposed to mean?"
"It's something to get used to." His hand let go of yours and moved back so he could sit on the edge of the throne. "I didn't know being matched to me was that bad for you, Jarïle."
He was teasing you. You could hear it in his voice.
You wanted to bite back, but all you responded with was, "I didn't say that."
"You implied it."
"How? By simply saying something that you could've very well been thinking? Don't tell me you expected to be matched with me, much less a human."
"I wasn't," He confirmed. "But that's because it hasn't happened. I'm more than happy to be the first of something."
You bit the inside of your cheek, thumb running along the mark on your wrist, pressing down every so slightly to test if it still hurt. "How's this gonna work?"
"What?"
"Us. Am I gonna have to quit my job and just...sit idle until you take the throne? Are we just going to play nice in front of camera and the moment it turns off things just go back to normal?" He gave you a look, eyebrow cocked in confusion.
"And what's 'back to normal'?"
"You having an issue with me," You said, exasperated, knowing for a fact that it was obvious. "Ever since I came here, you've done nothing but try to stir stuff by teasing the living fuck out of me. Then you go ahead and decide to call me an affectionate term like we're friends and- and if you even thought that was ok, I would assume you'd be friend-"
He cut you off, covering your mouth with his hand. "That was me being friendly. You seriously thought I had an issue with you?"
You froze in your spot, not fighting him when he pulled you between his legs. "You're the first person that's treated me normally, even going as far as to threaten me with late fees. Jarïle, you're possibly the only human I'd feel completely comfortable being matched with. Everyone else treats me like I'm...like-...well never mind the word for it. You're not afraid to be you in front of me."
You tasted iron after biting down on the inside of your cheek harshly, but the pain of it didn't even process, your mind only trying to go through everything he said. "...Do you mean they treat you like china?"
"Is that all you got out of that?" He groaned. "Yes, I meant that, but c'mon, that can't be the only thing you have to say about what I said."
"It's not," you confessed. "I'm just...having a hard time understanding how I got how you felt about me so wrong. I'm usually good at reading people."
"Humans," Fonir corrected. "You're good at reading humans."
You felt like a child being scolded with how he was looking at you, for the tone that took hold every time he talked. But despite that, you still had at least some gall to ask, "...Would you be more comfortable if you got matched with a Horæl? You only mentioned human when you said that."
The braids that pushed his hair back earlier were doing nothing at that moment, framing his face as his crown was nowhere to be seen, but he still had the touch of nervousness he had earlier, and you wondered why he was the one nervous. "I didn't think they needed to be included."
"So you would be?"
"You like assuming things, don't you," he asked, and the slight smile that appeared on his face relaxed you ever-so-slightly. "Horæls also treat me like china, Jarïle. Even more than humans."
You nodded, eyes drifting from him before his hand grasped your chin and brought you back to him. "We have two years until I come of age to take the throne. Does that seem like enough time for you?"
"Do I have to quit my job?" Fonir chuckled in response.
"I don't see why you have to. Maybe when we start ruling, but you're free to do whatever you like." We. The word had your thoughts racing and freezing all at the same time. He wanted to do it with you, even after you actively disliking him, even when you thought he disliked you too.
He must've noticed the zoned out look on your face because he waved his free hand in front of it and tilted his head. "What's on your mind, Jarïle?"
"You said we when you were talking about ruling," you answered, voice quiet. "I thought you were the most irritating person alive and here you are...being overly nice to me."
"Well, considering that my teasing didn't do anything to make me seem nice, I might as well try a new approach," he joked. "And we're a match. Why wouldn't I say we?"
"I wouldn't expect you to want to rule with me," you said bluntly, though your voice was still just as quiet. "I've only been here for like...two and a half months and suddenly in two years I'm gonna rule? No one is going to like that."
"I like it," Fonir admits. "You can learn a lot in two years and...believe me when I say it, you're going to learn a lot if my father has any say."
"And here I thought, King Ralin was nice," you jested, allowing an unsure smile to grace your lips. It only got bigger when you saw him laugh, the sound ringing in your ears like a melody.
"My father is nice, but when it comes to the kingdom...he's pretty strict. We're going to be going through the same things, trust me."
You didn't think before your hand grabbed his, giving the slender thing a small squeeze. "I do."
The smile Fonir gave you when you said that sent your heart to the stars, and another laugh left him. "You spend two months hating my guts and here you are, saying you trust me."
"I found your smug expression and teasing annoying...I never hated your guts though."
He hums, a pleased expression on his face. "I guess today we're both learning something. Neither of us hate each other."
You nodded. "I guess we don't."
His hand squeezed yours as the other hand stayed on your chin, thumb right below your bottom lip even though you knew he could very well touch it if he wanted to. His touch was just as cool as earlier, which you appreciated given the lingering burning feeling in your arm and in your face, even if it was mainly in your cheeks.
Though, right as the moment had started, it ended just as fast, your phone ringing loudly from your back pocket. A groan flew from your lips as Fonir pulled his hands away, your hand making it to the phone that resided in your pants before seeing the contact picture, eyes widening when you see Jorik's face. "Shit, I forgot to call her."
"What? Forgot to call who?" You didn't answer him, simply answering the phone before bringing it to your ear.
"Hey," you said, carrying the 'y' for a few seconds.
"Out of two hundred humans, you happened to be the one that was his match." You winced at her words.
"...Word really carries around fast."
"Of course it does! You're the Prince's Jarïle! Not only did he know you before the meeting, he called you a pet name! Korlae, you're big now."
A breath left you, and you nodded, though you knew full well she couldn't see you. "Yea, I'm aware of that. Look, I was in the middle of something before you called..."
"Yea? Like what?" You met Fonir's eyes and used your pointer finger to tap your phone and then point to him, a silent question of if he wanted to take it.
When he caught on, a mischievous grin grew on his face and he nodded, letting you hand him your phone as he pulled it to his ear. He seemed to listen to Jorik for a long, drawn out moment before glancing at you. The both of you shrug at each other, though his was in response of you doing it to him.
"Hello?" Fonir said, unsure if doing so was even ok, but when you heard the faint talking stop, you let out a snort. He took it as a sign to keep going however, "I'm the something they were in the middle of...Jorik, right?"
You watched Fonir's eyes widen as he pressed his lips together and pulled back your phone, shoulders shaking with silenced laughter. "Did she..."
You drifted off, but the second you saw him nod you barked out a laugh, hand covering your mouth as you tried to muffle the sound. "Your friend just hung up on me."
Your hand dropped and you tipped your head forward, nodding as you cackled. "I've had people who were afraid to talk to me, but- but they hung up on me!"
With another nod, you knew that you weren't going to let Jorik forget what she did any time soon, especially when you heard your phone ring again.
-<><><><><><><>-
You sat at a table in the Capital's library, eyes focused on an Actaean history book as your tutor -who Ralin was very happy to give you- piled more books onto your already gigantic stack, sitting across from you. You refused to glance up at her, already knowing that there was going to be a smug smile on her face.
She wasn't mean, not in the slightest, but she was good at making you feel bad about knowing almost nothing about the planet and its history, which in turn made you feel stressed about ruling and that made you feel bad that Fonir got matched with someone so...stupid. And almost as if he knew you were thinking poorly of yourself, he came in, fast food bag in his long, slender hand. Your first-in-line.
That was the moment you glanced up, a relieved look overtaking your face as he glanced at the books, then over to you with a small smile. "Uiloi, you're working them to the bone. I cannot rule with a skeleton."
"There's only a year and a half left before you turn twenty-five, your highness."
"And in that time, and even after it, they can learn the boring history of this planet. Go take a break, get a drink from the shop down the street." It sounded like a suggestion, but his tone made it apparent that it wasn't, and so Uiloi was quick in standing and leaving the library.
Fonir set the bag down, pushing it in front of you before he moved the stack of books to the far side of the table, sitting in the seat next to you. You shot him a thankful smile and pushed your book aside. "Thanks..."
"You can tell her to stop, Jarïle, she's supposed to listen to you."
"I'd feel bad," you admitted. "...It doesn't seem like it's my place to order anyone around, much less the people that actually come from here."
Fonir pouted, hand grasping your chin gently before he leaned down just enough to leave a chaste kiss on your nose. "That'll pass when you get used to it all, it's only been six months, Jarïle."
"What if it doesn't pass?"
"Then I guess I'll have to be right beside you to reassure you that it's ok," he answered, acting like it was the most obvious thing in the world. "Out of everyone on my planet and yours, I'm extremely lucky for it to be you that I'm matched with."
"We met eight-" He cut you off, finger against your lips.
"Does it really matter how long it's been?" You wanted to argue, say that it does, but when you saw his expression and the soft look in his eyes, you knew you couldn't. Because it really didn't matter. Not to you at least.
After a begrudging huff, you shook your head, watching as the smile on his face grew and letting him leave another quick kiss, this time on your temple. "You wouldn't have won that argument even if you tried, Jarïle."
"I know," you said, breathing out through your nose. "I can never truly win an argument against you, you're too stubborn to accept that you were wrong."
"As are you, my little future ruler." Clicking your tongue, you narrowed your eyes at him.
"Shut it with the little alright? You guys are just freakishly tall." Fonir held a hand to his chest in mock offense.
"That's hurtful, Jarïle. Maybe we're the normal ones and you humans are the freakishly small ones, huh?" His dramatic tone made you laugh, one of your hands pushing the book in front of you away to grab at the fast food bag as the other pushed his arm gently. He smiled down at you, a proud expression on his face as he watched your attention divert to the bag now fully in front of you. “I could’ve had the cooks make something for you, you know?”
You shook your head, already halfway done pulling out the greasy fries in its little cardboard container. “I couldn’t make them do that.”
A sigh left him at your words, and you glanced over at Fonir. “What?”
“You think someone would take the fact that they’re going to be crowned royal in the near future and use it for their own good.” You snorted. “Like actual cooked meals rather than human’s ‘quick food’.”
“Hon’,” you started, “you should’ve seen what I ate in college. It was worse than fast food.”
His brows furrowed in response before he pursed his lips. “You worry me, Jarïle.”
Now it was your turn to look proud, a grin spreading across your face. “Gotta keep you on your toes, Princey.”
“You have many years in the future to do that, Jarïle, but I have to insist that when we’re wedded, you take care of yourself.”
“You saying fast food isn’t taking care of myself?” You knew it wasn’t, fast food actually got worse after it was able to move up here but you quickly got past it when you realized how cheap it was, especially when you refused to hear Fonir out about paying.
"That's exactly what I'm saying." You huffed a laugh and shook your head. It was cute how much he doted on you after such a short amount of time.
A knock against the table drew both of your attention towards the person that did it, your eyes drifting over Soran's form, meeting his smile with your own. "Hey, Sor'."
He waved, bowing his head towards Fonir before he looked at you again and jerked a thumb over his shoulder before pulling his hand back to sign, 'Jorik needs help with the book scanner, sorry to interrupt.'
You bit your lip, glancing over at Fonir before popping a fry in your mouth and standing. "I'll gotta help Jorik real quick."
You didn't think twice when you leaned down and pecked his cheek, only pulling back to round the table and walk beside Soran. "Say anything about the kiss and I'll fight you, Sor'."
'I didn't even do anything,' he signed quickly, eyebrows furrowed. 'So quick to assume.'
You glanced up to his face after you got what he was signing, cocking an eyebrow just slightly. "You want to say something about it, don't you."
There was a pause, but eventually he nodded, casting his gaze away from you when the both of you went behind the front desk. "Knew it."
"Knew what?" Jorik asked, simultaneously tapping a book against the scanner.
'Our modest librarian gave their match a scandalous kiss on the cheek,' Soran was quick to sign, not bothering to hide the teasing expression on his face.
Jorik set the book down to gasp dramatically. "Not a kiss on the cheek! Such a travesty, I thought you were better, Korlae."
You swatted at the both of them, swiping the book from the counter before knocking the scanner on the top. When you placed the book back under, ignoring the laugh that came from Jorik at your reaction, you heard the high-pitched beep. "There."
"How'd you-"
"You just gotta bop it on the top. It's like tech on Earth, if it doesn't work, you just have to abuse it a little." You shrugged, sneaking past Soran to the open side of the desk. "If you need anymore help, you know where to find me."
"And your Prince."
"Yes, and my Prince," you said without thinking, the words processing in your head as you swiftly shook it. "The Prince. I meant the Prince. Just call him by his name, Jorik."
“Sure you meant that, Korlae. Totally. Just like you two haven’t been conjoined at the hip with him ever since you were matched with him,” Jorik said, eyes boring two holes into you with a disbelieving but playful expression. “I’m surprised no one has caught you making out yet.”
Your eyes widened, a flush spreading across your cheeks as your face grew warm. “Jorik I’m going to wring your-“
“Ah ah,” she mock scolded you, waving a finger in the air. “None of that. Don’t make me bring over your beloved.”
You held your hands up, arms outreached as your fingers curled into your palms, an exasperated huff leaving you before you turned on your heel and left the desk.
You walked back to the table, falling into your chair with a heaving sigh as Fonir looked up from a book, one that wasn’t from the pile of history books, which means he must’ve grabbed it when you were gone. “What’s wrong, Jarïle? You seem upset.”
“I’m fine, Fonir,” you said, hand moving to pat his. “Jorik’s was just teasing me.”
“About?” You met his eyes, and it only took a couple seconds before it clicked. “Me?”
“Mhm,” you hummed. “We’re apparently conjoined at the hip.”
He glanced down at his book and shut it after another second. “I wouldn’t say that she’s wrong saying it.”
“So you think it too?” You couldn’t help but ask it, but you knew the answer already.
“Well,” he started, holding onto the ‘l’ for a short moment, “we could spend more time together. You’re welcome to live at the castle.”
“Marry me first,” you laughed. “Give me a reason to make my commute to work longer, ‘kay?”
Fonir grabbed your hand, tipping his head down to kiss the back of it. “I fully intend on doing that…in a year.”
“You’re so quick for me to move in, but you won’t marry me.”
“I assumed that you’d want more time living separately. And it’d give you six months to get used to it all before your life is changed.”
“Because my life was completely normal now?” He shot you a look, and you merely leaned up to kiss his cheek again. “Normal’s boring anyway, match.”
You felt Fonir’s normally cool skin heat under your lips, and you pulled back to see the neon green flush along his cheeks. You knew what got him to be like that. It was you calling him match, that little nickname you jokingly called him three months ago. But when you saw how flushed and flustered it made him, you kept it.
“Match,” he repeated, just for you to nod. “My match.”
“Forever and ever, Fonir.”

At the top of the ramp, you squinted your eyes a little against the relative brightness of the interior of Red’s ship, but you barely took in any of it as he guided you with his hand still at the small of your back through the corridors and doorways to his quarters near the bridge. By the time you halted, you were left with the vague impression of blinking lights, silver and black bulkheads and walls, and touch-screen panels alight with their runic alphabet.
Pausing beside the door to his quarters, Big Red used his clawed forefinger to tap a code into the panel on the bulkhead beside it and the door hissed sideways to reveal a spartan room that felt oddly familiar, though the room you’d slept in before had been rotated ninety degrees at the time, following his ship’s destructive crash-landing. You smiled and looked back at him as he entered behind you.
“There is a shower through that door,” he said, pointing at another panel in the wall. “Have you eaten yet?”
You nodded. “Yeah, I grabbed something on base before I left. If you don’t mind me using your stuff, I’ll go and freshen up?”
Red inclined his head.
Peeking inside the bathroom, you turned back to him and grinned. “You… want to join me?”
Big Red’s mandibles twitched, clenched, and a slow clicking started in his throat — not quite a growl, but close. He reached slowly up with one hand and removed the bone mask that covered his face, then crossed to a shelf near his relatively small bed. Watching from the doorway, you watched him set it down, take a deep, slow inhale, and then turn back to face you. You couldn’t help the smile when you saw his face again for the first time in so long.
“Oh you’re beautiful, Red,” you breathed. Tears choked you a little as you added, “I missed you so much.”
“I missed you too,” he replied in a low, rough rumble, and stalked across the room to you. He rested his forehead against yours and placed his hands on your hips. Exhaling softly, he let his mandibles spread and you tipped your head up to kiss him again. His fingers tightened on your hips and you gasped as his claws just slightly pricked through the fabric of your clothes.
Slowly, he hooked his talons under your pullover and shirt and drew them up over your head. Then, he saw the bare expanse of your torso, another series of low, resonant clicks left him. The steady cadence resembled echolocation, though you knew that wasn’t one of their particular specialities. Whatever it meant, you felt each one like a starburst inside your chest, and you tipped your head to one side, exposing your neck to him. He let his taloned mandibles caress your pulse, his rough hands gliding gently across the bridge of your collarbones and over to your shoulders before he growled and pushed his pelvis against yours. His fingers tightened on your biceps and he pulled you close to him just as his mandibles twitched and tightened to a pinch on your throat. You gasped, and he captured the exhale, breathing it in.
His black tongue laved over your skin and you bucked weakly against him, sighing a curse and clutching at him. His hard, textured skin was cool against you, but you could hear his breathing picking up in that familiar, gentle wheezing, and saliva dripped from his mouth when he straightened up again.
“I want you,” he rasped. “Please… I…”
You nodded. “Let me shower first?”
He snarled, but forced himself to take a step back. “If I join you, I will not be able to… hold back.”
“Sure you will, Big Guy,” you laughed, though the idea was more than appealing anyway. You shucked off the rest of your clothes and then jutted your chin at him. “Come on. You too.”
Red shuddered visibly, but he obeyed.
His armoured loincloth came undone in a couple of clicks, and he abandoned it on the floor. It hit the metal with a clunk of leather and alloy and his taloned feet flexed briefly. Between his legs, where the mound was that concealed his sheath, you could see a glint of his slick pre-come already and you moved closer. His chest heaved, his shoulders rising and falling, and he clicked another warning at you, which you duly ignored. He knew what you were going to do, but instead of stopping you, he leaned back a fraction to allow it, shifting his great head and letting his hands fall passively to his sides.
You reached out slowly, giving him the opportunity to object properly, but he never did.
Mesmerised by his stunning red-oxide colouring as it faded across his ladder-like abdomen into a warm, rich, cream, you trailed your fingertips over each contour in his muscles, and he gave another shuddering purr in response. Further and further down his body, you traced the feel of him until your middle fingertip brushed against the slightly swollen mound between his legs. Red heaved and gave a snarling exhale, mandibles flaring wide, the delicate pink membrane stretching enticingly. His head tipped back and his chest began to work like bellows.
You took a final step closer to him and pressed your lips to his chest, then, in the same few heartbeats, you slipped your fingertip teasingly into the slick heat of his slit and he roared. Slick dripped down over your hand, drops of it hitting the smooth, cool floor, and he shook so hard you thought for a dizzying moment he was seizing. Then it stopped, and he picked you up under your arms and lifted you off the floor. In the same movement, he lowered his face to your neck and shoulder and bit you. It wasn’t hard, and it didn’t puncture the skin, but it was enough to make you cry out and jerk, spine arching back, body going taut.
Red walked you from the room and set you down in the shower stall at the back of the tiny en-suite bathroom and snarled at you. With one hand on your throat — so reminiscent of the first time he’d touched you and yet so utterly different — he used his right hand to turn the dials on the shower.
Perfectly hot water coursed down over both of you and he kissed you again, his hand going between your legs this time. He cupped you, teased you, mindful of his claws, and then he moved to knead the soft flesh of your arse-cheek in his rough, leathery hand. While he was still distracted in reaching around you, you rutted your pelvis against his and he gave another shrill, fluttering roar and bucked his hips in response. His cock was filling and sliding free of his sheath and he rutted it between your legs for a moment in the slick water before he turned you around like a marionette and pressed you against the shining, black walls of the stall.
With his feet braced behind you to stop you slipping, he slid his ridged cock between your cheeks and you felt the slickness of his pre-come against your skin. You could hear him purring and clicking softly in his own language; endearments about how good you felt and how gorgeous your body was and how he couldn’t wait to be inside you. Senseless, beautiful nonsense. Even though he wasn’t inside you in that moment, the intimacy of the position made your knees weak.
“God, Red, don’t let me fall,” you grunted.
In response, he reached his left arm under yours and played with your right nipple between finger and thumb, pinching and caressing in turn until you cried out again. You’d never been so tired and so turned on at the same time, and it was making you dizzy.
“Fuck,” you gasped, moving your right hand down your body to touch yourself while he let his ridged cock slide easily between your cheeks. You had to grab hold of his left forearm with your left hand just to keep yourself from sliding to your knees. It was like gripping a steel girder, though it was the colour of iron-oxide and you could feel all the muscles flexing beneath his hard skin. It wasn’t long before you were short of breath and closer than you’d expected to be in so little time.
Big Red let his solid, muscular arm slide down your torso to your waist then, where he held you in place again as he quickened the rhythm of his thrusts to something frantic. He snarled wordlessly in your ear, his taloned mandibles brushing against your skin, drool dripping down onto your shoulder and down your chest where the water carried it away. The slick sounds of his hips against you and the efforts of your own hand were only just audible over the water, but it was enough to spur you both on.
“Come for me, Red,” you gasped a minute or so later. Your spine arched, pushing you back onto his cock and just as you’d contemplated what it would be like if he slipped inside you at that angle, Red came with a yell. He grabbed your hip with his right hand, talons locking him there, and he came up your back with a roar that left your ear ringing.
His hips jerked erratically, and he would have flattened you to the cold shower wall if his left arm hadn’t still been around your middle. His claws hurt, but it was the perfect counterpoint to the mounting pleasure in your body, and as you felt your own release crashing over your body, you tipped your head back and let him hold you up. You came hard, and he nuzzled against you, his cock still giving weak spurts between you as he finished. As the blood sang in your ears, you felt your body go almost completely slack.
Red clicked and crooned gently, the sound reverberating oddly in your hazy mind as he purred softly against you.
Catching your breath, you turned a little in his arms and let the spray of water carry away his release from your back, then turned to look up at him. He shook his head with an apparently-universal ‘don't say a word’ expression, and tutted at you. He had warned you that he wouldn’t be able to help himself if you let him shower with you, after all.  “I’m not complaining.”
You grinned at him, finished washing, and staggered out of the shower.
After using his towel, which he then used after you, you crossed to his bed, drew back the sheets, practically collapsed into it and curled up, and laid your head on the pillow. Sleep reached for you almost immediately, but you felt him stroke his hand over the crown of your head and you cracked your eyes open.
“Join me?” you mumbled.
“Soon,” he promised.
“I’ll hold you to that, Big Guy.”
He purred at you and leaned down. His thick, waxy dreads fell all around your face in a dark curtain and you kissed the nearest one. Apparently they were sensitive enough that his breath caught and he clicked another thornless rebuke at you.
You laughed, and said, “Yeah, that’s a cheque my body can’t cash right now. Next time,” you snorted, mumbling sleepily as you got comfortable on his firm mattress.
Red purred again, slow and sub-sonic, and you sighed. “I won’t be too long,” he said. “Rest.”
When you next stirred, it was to the warmth of Big Red pressed all along your back, and with his heavy arm draped across your waist. Daylight washed in through a small porthole window in the ship’s hull beside you, lending a rosy, watercolour glow to the memories of the previous night and you stretched a little.
Exhaling a contented sigh, you rolled a little more onto your back and peered over your shoulder to find Big Red fast asleep on his side. It was sweet, endearing almost, to see such a powerful creature lost in the softness of a dreamless sleep, and for a while, you just watched him and listened to the pattern of his low, rasping in- and exhale.
Finally though, the temptation to touch overruled your desire to keep staring, and you freed your arm enough to reach out and run your finger along his soft, lax upper mandible. To your delight, it twitched a little, and then he inhaled, blinking his small, ember-red eyes open and purring openly at you. The sound was barely louder than a whisper, but it rippled across your skin and lit you up all over. Your breath caught and then came quick and shallow in your chest.
Red spread his fingers wide and skimmed his palm down your ribs, over your stomach and eventually down between your legs. When he found your body waking to his touch, he purred again and muttered something in his own language, the sound a series of clicks and gentle growls.
Love, he said, though the word ran deep as the ocean. Like their concept of friendship, that of ‘lover’ was equally complicated, but the word he had chosen was one you’d only heard in the context of mates and bonding.
You smiled, vision blurring a little as tears gathered on your lashes. “Red,” you whispered. “God, I wish… I wish I had a word for how I feel about you. What you just said… it’s… it’s how I feel for you, but I can’t…” you swallowed and he reached over with his mandibles and stroked your cheeks. The very tip of his black tongue gathered the tiny pearl of a teardrop that had begun to roll down your face as though it were a bead of nectar.
“I know,” he said, still speaking his mother tongue. “I can see it in the way you look at me. I can feel it,” he said, palming over you and making you buck slowly, your muscles tensing and releasing in a wave of pleasure. “I can smell it and taste it,” he went on, letting his tongue flicker across your lips and down to the hollow of your throat. “I know it,” he said. “You don't need a word for it when you gave me my name and took me as your mate. I know.”
“Red,” you gasped, angling your hips into his touch again. “Red, please…”
“Patience, love,” he purred. “Patience. And I’ll give you the universe.”
___
Hope you enjoyed it, and thank you for your support and patience! If you liked it, consider reblogging to say thank you.
As always, I look forward to your reactions to this one. Take care of yourselves.

Note
can you write fluff for gay trans man who just had a simple metoidioplasty and needs comfort from their yautja husband?
A/N1: Thank you so much for the request!! I've written this to be more gender neutral as that's what I prefer. But hopefully it's done in a way where anyone can put themselves into this.
Yautja vs bottom surgery recovery
GN!Yautja x GN!Trans!reader comfort
Word count: 1105
Warnings: Mentions of surgery, surgery recovery, pain, taking pills, very slight mentions of bathroom use (really it's nothing, just covering my bases), mild nudity, reader is trans
Summary: Your lover dutifully cares for you during bottom surgery recovery, sharing in both the good and bad moments.
A/N2: For those wondering, a Simple Metoidioplasty is the creation of a penis using existing genital tissue by way of surgically enlarging an already enlarged clitoris. It's one hell of a surgery and my heart goes out to anyone who has had this, y'all are braver than the troops.
Your transition would not be where it was without your friends. There were only a few who you trusted with something this sensitive. Coincidentally these were also the same friends who you trusted with knowledge of your relationship. Predictably having an alien predator for a partner was not the easiest thing. You knew full well that oomans were easily scared of things that they don't understand. It was paramount that their existence not be found out.
Unfortunately it was due to this fact that they could not accompany you to your surgery. Despite how much they wanted to, and how much you wanted them to, you both knew that it just wasn’t possible. Thankfully your friends picked up the slack. Driving you to surgery, hanging out with you as you woke up, and driving you home. They even picked up your recovery prescriptions. Once you were back home your friends made sure that you were comfortable and that you had everything that you needed, wishing your lover good luck when they left.
Prior to surgery you and your lover had done extensive research into recovery. And during patient education you had brought back any and all reading material for your lover to read as well. So as you continued to wake from the anesthetic, your lover was well prepared and was already tending to your needs.
You were sat in a nest on the couch, one that you had arranged prior to surgery so that you wouldn't have to futz with it now. But that would not stop you. Your lover, knowing you would be hungry, brought over some pre approved snacks only to find you attempting to stand.
“SIT DOWN OOMAN,” they shrieked. You in your delirious state, still comming down from the anistesia, did not take this seriously and continued rearranging the nest, only to be cut off by your lover effortlessly picking you up. You whined, but still knew that resistance was futile. Instead you directed them like a contractor to a build crew. Once settled down again your lover distracted you with snacks and cuddles, and you were happy. For a while.
--
That night you woke up in an immense amount of pain. Earlier in the day your lover had tried to offer you the pain meds that had been prescribed to you, but you felt fine, and insisted you didn't need them. But now you found yourself regretting that.
You and your lover were still on the couch. You gently rubbed your hand on the top of their elongated head. They chuffed softly in response, before opening their eyes and looking up at you.
“It hurts,” You whine. Without another word they got up and walked across the room to grab that bag of medications. They sifted through the bag, and found the bottle to find the painkillers. Returning to you, they opened the lid and handed you the bottle. Pouring out a dose you reached for your water, only for the empty bottle to be taken from you. Before you had even realized that it was empty your lover filled it and brought it back to you. After this your lover was much more diligent in keeping up on your pills, and pain management. Even when you weren’t in pain, they made sure that you took your pills.
--
Going to the bathroom was difficult. Walking to the bathroom was difficult. But your ever diligent lover was there. Their genuine curiosity really helped as you knew there was no judgment. They would have carried you if you had asked. But you knew that walking, difficult as it was, was still important for recovery. Your lover dutifully fulfilled every request, and carefully guided you back to your nest when you were done.
--
The time had come for your first post op appointment. Once again your friends came through to help you out, driving you to and from your appointment, and celebrating at the amazing results. Coming back home, your lover was ecstatic. After months and months of preparation, you and your lover could finally bask in the fruits of your surgeon's labor.
You sat at the edge of your nest, a blanket pulled over your lap. Despite how close you and your lover had needed to be over the last two weeks, and how much of your body they had seen before, you still found yourself overcome with bashfulness. Your lover, knowing you almost too well, rested a hand on your calf. Their claws gently scratched your skin, and they purred loudly enough for you to feel it in your chest. Their mere presence helped to calm you and instill confidence, but they didn’t stop there.
“I know how long you have waited for this, I too have waited many revelations for this. I don’t mind waiting a little longer.” Their voice was deep and smooth. And the statement was underlined by a long sustained purr. You took a deep breath, steadying yourself. For a moment you closed your eyes and focused on your lover. The gentle scratch of their claws on your skin, their eerily slow breathing, the persistence purr rumbling in their chest.
When you opened your eyes you easily moved the blanket and opened your legs to show your lover the post op results. They stared intently at your core, taking in every detail of the new sight. You felt your body becoming shy again but forced it down not wanting to interrupt them. They continued staring for a long while before they turned their gaze back up to you. The corners of their eyes were upturned, and their mandibles hung open in as much of a smile as their anatomy would allow. The shyness fully overtook you, closing your legs and covering your face as a red blush flowed across your cheeks. Your lover took this as an opportunity to show you just how much they love you. Leaning down they caressed your thigh with their mandibles, they allowed their tounge to loll out and make contact with your skin as it grew hot to the touch under all this attention.
Sensing your growing shyness they came up and held you. They pushed their forehead against your face, pushing your hands out of the way. You both embraced each other. You knew that there was still plenty of recovery ahead of you. Your doctor had warned that there could be up to a year and a half before full recovery. But you didn’t worry, you felt secure in the knowledge that your lover would be there always, effortlessly fulfilling every request, carrying out every ask, and never leaving your side.

ℍ𝕒𝕣𝕣𝕪 𝕍𝕒𝕟𝕕𝕖𝕣𝕤𝕡𝕖𝕚𝕘𝕝𝕖 𝕩 𝔾ℕ! 𝔾𝕠𝕥𝕙 ℝ𝕖𝕒𝕕𝕖𝕣 ℍ𝕖𝕒𝕕𝕔𝕒𝕟𝕠𝕟𝕤 (𝔻𝕒𝕥𝕚𝕟𝕘 𝕠 ℙ𝕝𝕒𝕥𝕠𝕟𝕚𝕔)

Tumblr media
Oh lord, he noticed you in that small town of normies immediately, you stuck out like a sore thumb. He had no idea that was even a style, all black with little to no color? Perhaps it's for a job or something of that nature..? Fascinating… he had to learn more. He offered to take you out for ice cream in exchange for an explanation for your clothing… a bit of an odd thing to ask somebody you just met but it's free food.. so you went with the flow.
You explained why you love the style and explained some of it's history, such as the early 2010s stage of gothic, the modern Gothics, and the term "dommy mommy". You also went ahead and explained Emo, Punk, and Rock cultures to him too. To say the least, Harry felt that that ONE sundae was not even close to enough payment for the amount of new knowledge you had given him so you bought you some more… like 5 more.. which he had to help you eat because they were melting rapidly.
You two decided to stay in touch after that, he seemed like a pretty interesting fellow, what's the harm? He takes you out regularly.. about twice a week and just watches you exist with the most dumbfounded expression.
Harry is fascinated by everything you wear, the chokers, the combat boots, the chains, the belts, the whole kit and caboodle. Quite frankly, you think he's mildly into it… in what way you don't know, but he's for sure into it in some way.
He even tries to wear some black with you every so often.. you think it's really cute when he does that, it makes you feel so accepted and loved. He kind of acts like a kid trying to impress his friends, it warms your heart.
He will happily join you to go shopping for some new clothing if you ask, he wants to find some like that too! You seem so cool and spunky, he wants to be spunky cool, he wants to be in with the cool kids!
You two love to play in the jewelry section of stores, it's funny to see Harry try on those giant rings from Hot Topic, he seems so out of character when he does so. But a giant smile stretches across his face while he stares at them, so maybe it's something he really do enjoy.
He loves the way people stare at you two as you walk around in public, they seem so interested but also very afraid, it amuses him. The people here aren't used to Gothics.. in fact, you think you're the only one in the whole town. So no wonder they stare in shock in awe, you would too if you never seen a goth in your life.

*NSFW* How to train your pet Human (Yandere!Alien X GN!Reader)
CW: Mind break, training, human pet, pet/owner relationship, humiliation, dub-con, non-con, dead dove
Pt 2, pt 3
(Reader) sat quietly and fearfully in a small cage that didn't allow for any wiggle room, their legs falling asleep under them from being in the same position for so long. They didn't remember how they got here, in a cage surrounded by freaks in what seemed to be a street market, only remembering walking home from the convenience store a little past midnight and seeing a white, blinding light before passing out.
Aliens of all shapes stuck their disgusting faces towards the bars of (Reader's) cage, speaking in sounds that didn't sound like speech at all. (Reader) watched as sniffling cages near them were bought one by one, and feared for their future.
After nearly an entire day (Reader) felt their cage lift high above the ground without shaking, and witnessed a tall creature draped with beautiful deep blue robes raise the cage to get a better look at (Reader's) face without needing to bend down. And bending down to the tiny cage must have been impossible without dirtying it's knees, since it seemed over seven feet tall.
It's face face was smooth, with large, opal colored eyes eyes in a hard shelled face. There was no nose, or lips, on its black and purple iridescent face. It spoke in a human like voice, in an earth language (Reader) couldn't understand.
"What?" Their voice was dry from dehydration.
"I asked what language you speak."
The voice was higher than expected, and melodic, yet still masculine. He lowered the cage to his hip, but didn't set (Reader) down, exchanging chatter with the seller and handing over a bag full of, what (Reader) assumed to be, some type of currency.
(Reader) was carried back to what looked like to be a large ship, dying of anxiety over what was going to become of them. They passed through multiple corridors and gateways, before entering a room decorated with glass cases and blue drapery the same color as the alien's cloak. He placed the cage on the floor and unlatched it, stepping back to give (Reader) space.
They tried to stand, but their legs were dead from the hours they spent bent doubled over. They cried in pain as the feeling began to slowly tingle down their thighs to their feet.
"What is wrong, human?"
(Reader) wiped away the snot and tears rolling down their chin. "My-My legs are numb from sitting in the cage. It hurts."
The one who bought (Reader) reached under their arm pits, raising them up and sitting them on a very high desk. He reached with what looked like scaled hands and began to massage their legs. (Reader) whined in discomfort, both at the pain and the uncomfortable situation, fearful to push the much taller creature away. Now that they were out of the cage, the alien was much taller and imposing, visibly sleek bodied under the fabric, but not scrawny, (Reader) could feel his strength.
"What is your name, human?"
"...(Reader)."
"(Reader)." He practiced saying their name, still massaging their legs. "I am Kirtch."
(Reader) nervously fiddled with the bottom of their shirt. "Why am I here?"
Kirtch pried his eyes away from their legs, looking down into (Reader's) scared face. "This will be your new home."
"What?" (Reader's) heart dropped into their stomach.
"I promise your safety, (Reader). I will do my best to provide you with comfort." Kirtch picked (Reader) up again, but didn't set them down, carrying them around the room giving them a little tour. The room was actually three, entering from the main hall into a study first, with another door leading to a bedroom, a small restroom hidden within that.
"I didn't expect to be bringing you home, so I don't have any human furniture yet. Although I've never owned a human before there is no need for you to fret, I have done extensive research, and I am confident as a first time owner."
(Reader) only just began to fully realize what was happening to them. "I.. I want to go home." The back of their throat got tight, choking back a sob painfully. Their nose began to tingle and they knew they wouldn't be able to hold back their tears for long.
Kirtch rubbed their back in what was supposed to be a comforting manor, but his hands were harder than a humans, and it was rough against their skin. "You'll feel better once your adjustment period is over. I shall bring you something to eat. It won't be a cultural dish from your planet, but it will be made of human safe ingredients."
(Reader) stretched their legs while trying to smile through their tears. 'Like hell. I'd rather die.'
They watched as he left the room, wondering how far away the kitchen or dining area was from the room they were in. (Reader) waited for a few minutes after Kirtch left before shakily rushing towards the door. But the door had no handles or knobs, it was a flat wall with barley any indication that there was an opening at all. They touched all over the spot (Reader) had seen the tall man had placed his hand, but nothing happened.
"no no nO NO!" They slapped the "door" in frustration. Time for plan B. (Reader) pressed their back against the wall, as flat as they could muster, just trying to make sure they wouldn't be visible in Kirtch's peripherals. The fear was destroying the lining of (Reader's) stomach, gurgling uncomfortably.
A whirring noise activated as Kirtch entered the room, holding a tray in his hands. It was quick, but (Reader) snuck right behind Kirtch and out the room without him noticing, right before the automatic door slid shut. The walls of the hallway were very tall and slightly rounded, made out of a blue metal. (Reader) began running in the direction they remembered entering from. They knew the probability that they were still on land was slim, but dying was better than being kept a prisoner without any hope of returning home.
(Reader) made it down only one hallway before strong hands effortlessly lifted them under their armpits. They kicked while crying, not seemingly phasing Kirtch in the slightest. He brought them back to his room, and his lack of anger hurt (Reader's) pride; it was good that he wasn't furious, threatening to hurt them, but his calmness reinforced the futility of (Reader's) escape attempt.
"That was my fault. I read that humans were prone to escaping, especially in the adjustment period. I should have expected this." He sat down, a deep imitation of a sigh rumbling through his hard chest. Kirtch sat down in his large chair in front of his desk, and laid (Reader) across his knees as their face fell. "Knowing this is my fault brings me no joy for what I need to do, however the manual did say that humans will test authority and will continue to do so if not punished."
(Reader) protested while squirming, incapable of breaking free as Kirtch slid their pants down to their thighs, exposing their bare bottom. His shelled hand was cold against their skin. (Reader) clenched to prepare themselves for contact, but it was useless against the inhuman slap, his hard flesh resulting in a sharp pain like they had been struck with a paddle instead of a hand. They yelped, squeezing their thighs together as the tears began to form again.
Another slap connected with their ass painfully, stinging as their tender rear began to bruise.
"I'm so-sorry!" (Reader) blubbered, another whack rippling their buttocks aggressively.
"Humans may appear remorseful, however this is self defense tactic to cease the pain they are experiencing. Unless one establishes themselves as the dominant force, they will continue to act out."
"No! I really am sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry!!" Their voice cracked as they screamed out the apology between sobs and slaps.
Kirtch smiled, rubbing the skin he had split open, stinging the fresh cuts. "I shall finish with your punishment for now. I do not wish to spoil you, but I would be lying if I didn't have a soft spot for you, my cute little pet. The next time this happens I will not be so gentle.."
(Reader) widened their eyes in horror. That was gentle?!
"Would you rather spend your first night in my bed, or shall I prepare a nest on the floor for you? I will buy a suitable human bed for you tomorrow, of course, but until then..?"
"The floor." (Reader) replied a little too quickly.
A "nest" of bedding was constructed, and (Reader) did find it quite comfortable, but refused to sleep, fearful that at any moment they would be in danger. They rested for what only felt like three or fours hours, max, before Kirtch rose from his bed and begun his day. His routine was uncannily similar to a human's, rising and dressing in his robe, stretching and leaving to five something to eat. It only enraged (Reader) further at their inhumane treatment.
"I am not a dog." They whispered to themselves, as though fearful they would forget.
The ship must have been still docked at the trader's colony, because throughout the day gifts for (Reader) were brought into Kirtch's room and office. With each piece of "human" furniture Kirtch would happily rub (Reader's) head, petting them like an animal and waiting for them to show some kind of sign that they enjoyed their new toys. But (Reader) showed no such sign, feeling humiliated as they were treated like a cat instead of an adult human. But they didn't snack away Kirtch's hand, or tell him off, scared of being punished again, so they simply sulked, trying to hide from his gaze so they could disassociate without interruption.
His new pet's attitude was making Kirtch worried. He flipped through the human owning handbook, wondering what he could be doing wrong. They seemed so stressed, and Kirtch felt it was far worse than the normal stress of a new environment. Then Kirtch flipped to an interesting chapter on chemical responses. "If your human has pent up frustrations or stress, a fun way to help them relieve themselves is the manual release of the chemical oxytocin..."
(Reader) hid under a box, hating the irony of their hiding place while they tried to formulate a new escape plan, now knowing that they were in fact still connected to some type of land. Not every alien could be a cruel monster, there had to be some kind of interplanetary animal rights group or space hippies. The box was lifted and removed from (Reader) sat to the side as Kirtch smiled down on them.
"I'm sorry I haven't been playing with you, pet. I've been so busy trying to make this room more comfortable for you that I have been unintentionally neglecting you." He scooped (Reader) up into his arms, and brought them over to his desk, which he had already cleared off. (Reader) nervously glanced around, wondering what was going to happen to them. "But I wanted to help you become acclimated to your new home. And you still feel more comfortable the sooner we ease your stress." He pulled out a box and a couple of strange bottles with syringes.
(Reader) scrambled to get away, but was quickly held down by one hand, being shushed in what was supposed to be a calming manner. One of the strange bottles filled the syringe, making (Reader) thrash harder. Kirtch pulled down their pants, revealing their still sore ass cheeks, and stuck in the needle, injecting them with the unknown liquid. (Reader) cried out as a warm sensation rippled through their body, turning their limbs to jello and making it difficult to breathe.
Kirtch released them, seeing that they could no longer run from him. (Reader) growled, pissed off that their body wouldn't act as they wanted it to. "What did you do to me?!" Their body was rapidly heating, becoming to feverish to hold up.
"If your human has pent up frustrations or stress, a fun way to help them relieve themselves is the manual release of the chemical oxytocin..." Kirtch opened the box next, revealing a strange rubber looking object shaped like a cup on the outside with polyps inside. "I have always wanted a pet human, (Reader), so I was very excited to see you for sale. You are the most attractive like human I've ever seen, and I promise to give you a long, happy life."
The device was placed on (Reader's) crotch, attaching itself to their pubic area without needing to be held on. It came to life, each nub moving on it's own as it rubbed (Reader's) growing erection. The contraption grew against (Reader's) body, enlarging to fill every hole and crevice, pulsating and writhing like a living creature.
"No! It feels gross! Take it off!" (Reader) screamed in fear, watching as their hips bucked against their will and their nipples hardened through their shirt. Tears over how unfair everything was pricked at their eyes. Kirtch lifted (Reader) into the sitting position, rubbing their back soothingly while giving them a better view of the throbbing toy violating them.
"Shh. There's a good pet.." His words felt like taunts to (Reader) as they kept approaching their orgasm.
(Reader's) body was shaking as it begged for release, but (Reader) held strong, trying to rob Kirtch of the satisfaction of seeing them crumble. Another bottle was opened, this one however was poured down (Reader's) throat before they had a chance to cognitively force themselves to close their mouth. The warm liquid was tasteless and odorless, but the effect was like an immediate five shots of vodka, clearing (Reader's) sinuses and plunging them into a drunken stupor.
"What..? What..?" (Reader) couldn't even form their sentence correctly. Their unfocused eyes drifted around confusedly before snapping down to their lower regions, feeling their stomach muscles clench in anticipation.
Kirtch continued to rub their head and chest, gently rubbing their head like a good puppy while he rolled their nipple between his harsh fingers. "Whose my good little pet?"
"Ahh! No.. I'm not a pet.." (Reader's) whimpering voice mewled pathetically, their quivering lips complimenting their sweaty visage. The tingling feeling that had been building was ready to overflow.
"Don't you want to cum, little pet? It's okay. I'll make sure to always keep you happy like this, all you have to do is ask nicely." Kirtch leaned in, amused by his human's drenched thighs soaking his desk, shaking from being denied their orgasm. Behind (Reader's) back, Kirtch held a remote. They would not achieve relief until they played the part of a good little pet.
Drool dripped down (Reader's) chin, unnoticed by their hazy mind. "I-I want to cum."
"What was that?"
"Please let me cum?" They moaned, trying to press themselves deeper into the toy.
A button was pressed outside of (Reader's) peripherals.
Their body rocked violently as (Reader) was finally allowed to achieve their climax. Kirtch continued to stroke their head affectionately, whispering words of praise to his little human as liquid dripped from between the toy and their wet holes.
Kirtch kissed the top of their damp head, still smiling over how adorable (Reader) was. Although he hoped his pet would come to love him and enjoy his company on their own, he was secretly excited to use this toy on his little pet again. He peeled the appliance off, causing (Reader) to twitch sensitively in Kirtch's arms. Their eyes were unfocused and glazed, but Kirtch found that it wasn't a bad look on (Reader).
"Why don't you lay down for a nap, little pet. We'll play some more when you wake up."

XENOMORPH DRONE x gn human reader
『 xenomorph ,, gender neutral human reader 』
-> cuddling your xeno during a bad thunderstorm
  — fluff ,, sfw ,, comfort ,, thunderstorm tw
  — just a lil smt i decided to whip up yknow :)
cold and slick skin pressed against your own ,, yours more warm and not as moist. the head of the xenomorph had been tucked in between your neck and your shoulder. his arms were wrapped around your waist ,, keeping your warm body close to his chest as he curled around you. his tail was kept away from anyplace that could bring potential harm to you ,, as he didnt wish to knick you whilst you both slept.
rain trickled down the windows ,, pounding softly against the roof as it raged outside. thick and loud cracks of thunder reigned for a moment ,, before settling down and giving a small flash of lightning. your xeno tightened his grip ,, making huffs at the sudden noise from the storm outside. he wasn't a big fan of the rain ,, youre not sure why but its not likely you'll find an answer.
your hand came up to pat against his head ,, a soft 'shh' slipping from your lips as you calmed him down. the moment he had heard the first crackle of thunder he grabbed you and ran to the bedroom. you had to put an end to your activities earlier than you wished for ,, but it didnt bother you to comfort your xeno during something he didn't like. it felt nice actually ,, comforting the big and alien creature.
he gave a small shriek when lightening filled the room once more ,, tucking close to you as he tried to settle down. originally you had found him skulking along the alleyways ,, lost and confused but docile as he navigated his way around. he had scared off most who were in the alleyways ,, those who thought he would just eat them on the spot. even you had been amongst those who thought that ,, though all ideas of him being ferocious when he whimpered and cried out when he saw you.
it was like finding a beaten up kitten on the side of the road ,, even though he did not fit the description of being cute. you couldn't leave him there though ,, and it wasnt like you had any choice because he was quickly following after you wherever you stepped. that's how you got yourself a cat-like alien ,, who was currently cuddling you as he flinched and jumped from any flash of lightning or boom of thunder.
you were still shushing him ,, hand lightly caressing his head as you lulled him the sleep. you werent able to tell whether he was sleeping or not ,, since he never had much of a indication to it ,, but in a few minutes you took a guess that he was. your voice stopped yet your hand stayed ,, taking in the comfort he gave.
during your years of being isolated in the suburbs of the city ,, you had grown touch starved and in need of desperate interaction. the most you'd get is a new assignment from your boss and the occasional praise from them. your coworkers never bothered to ask you simple questions when you first started to work ,, or ever try to get to know you at all. your family didnt keep in touch and you didnt have any friends besides those in far away states that costed too much gas money to make a trip to.
placing a gentle kiss to the xenomorph's lobed head ,, you quickly fell into dreamland. soft breathes from you both filled the room ,, though silent as the rain quickly drowned the noise out. it was a comforting night ,, two lost creatures in need of affection giving themselves to one another.

Yautja and Human Smol read with some witcher stuff cause I was into it back then lmao, no warnings!
-
The Earth had a capacity for life. Only so many people it could house and nurture safely.
Humanity hit that threshold long before you were born.
The peace treaty between species made it possible to live among the stars. Some races were willing to share their planets, while others offered space in their ships.
'It's almost like exchange students, but for life- you'd become one of them.'
You didn't feel at home on Earth. Ever since your first breath, you had no place on that planet.
So up you went. 'Above and beyond,' or whatever they told you. Usually, humans who wanted to leave had forms filled out and uploaded to the exchange system.
If you had to call it anything, you'd describe it as 'adoption'. You, specifically, were adopted by yautjas. The deadliest species in the treaty.
You packed your bags, taking your 'goodbye pack' the government provided you with. Laptop, tablet, and other human things 'so the adaptation wouldn't be so harsh'. That's what the flyer said.
"We wish you luck and success in your new life among the stars. It's an honor to have an earthling as brave as you out there."
That's what the video said.
You sling your bag over your shoulder and pick up the government packs off the floor, walking toward the hangar in your papers. You and some others behind you get in line for admission.
Seeing yautjas wasn't new. There were videos and pictures of them plastered everywhere, just like the other species of the treaty. But still, your eyes widened from their bored expression when you saw your admits standing in front of the ship, datapads in hand.
You're first in line, walking up to them and presenting your registration. They repeat your name and information, and you confirm everything, waiting patiently.
"Welcome to the clan." One of them says, nodding at you. You nod back and make your way inside. The ship is a transport shuttle, spacious and high-tech. This was happening. It takes you a second to choose a seat and strap yourself.
The information speech you're given during the trip feels warmer and more welcoming than anything you've heard on Earth.
'Maybe this was a good decision.' You think.
"From today on, you'll be part of our society, which means no special treatment. No special conditions. No buts and ifs." He keeps talking. "Just life as a yautja in a mothership. That's all."
You appreciated the clarity and honesty they had. You expected it to be hard but weren't afraid of working for it. Whatever challenge presented itself for you, you'd beat it. You had survived this far. This wouldn't be different.
Your group gets taken to the housing levels, where each human gets assigned a room. Your eyebrows rise up when you see two grown yautjas in yours.
"Get up, Fang. Our partner is here."
Fang and Claw. Two youngsters from the clan you got accepted into. Written in bold letters at the end of your papers. "Hey," you say as they approach you at the door. "Good trip?" The other one, Fang, asks.
"Yeah, good trip," you answer. You had no idea they'd be so big. "Are you guys really my age?"
"Are you 124?"
"Oh man."
Despite their scary looks, Fang and Claw are what they are. Young. And a little stupid. You somehow felt at home with them. It was nice to be treated like a person and not a number for once.
You get installed in your bunk bed, pull out your laptop, and test the 'fastest internet connection in the galaxy' they had on the ship. A direct link to Earth, in case you want to talk to anyone.
You just wanted access to the shows.
"What's that necklace?" Claw asks. "What's in it?" You look up from your screen, then down to your chest. "It's a wolf necklace."
"Your previous clan?"
"They don't have clans, just families," Fang replies. Claw frowns in confusion, "So your previous family?"
"No, not my family-"
"That's a wolf- so Wolf clan,"
"Claw-"
"I like it," he continues. You smile at the sheer absurdity of it, "Cool to wear your symbol like that."
You laugh softly, "It's not my symbol- it's from a show, a story- the Witcher. In the story, the Witcher comes from a school whose banner is the wolf. Their symbol is the wolf," You play with the pendant between your fingers, "I don't really have a family."
They both stop to listen to you explain. Claw shakes his head, "But you wear it, so it's your symbol. Wolf human from the Witcher school. A Witcher," the word sounds weird when translated from them, clearly adapted.
"Wolf human," Fang repeats, "Nice title, sounds strong. You should keep it," he says. You huff in amusement. "Sure, I'll keep it,"
They barely return to their own unpacking before you look up again. "We should watch it," they look back at you, "- the Witcher-, we should watch it-, sometime." You clear your throat awkwardly.
"It's a filmed story? Like the ones in the human culture lessons?"
"It's called a 'movie'. Idiot."
"Shut up."
You put your hands up before any growling appears, "It's a series- actually. Short episodes that make up for one long thing. Good to watch in between, ah-, training? Missions? Whatever you guys do?"
Claw nods, "Wolf-human story with the wolf-human, I'm in." You smile and look at Fang. "Is there blood?"
"Lots of it."
"I'm in."
You watch the first season during your first night at the ship, only pausing to retrieve your food and for general discussion between the yautjas about how accurate (or stupid) the fighting scenes in the show were.
You have to plug your laptop into the adapted port on the wall so you can keep binging with your roommates, smiling ear to ear whenever they'd say something positive about it. When you finally close your laptop down, you look at them again. "So, thoughts?"
"Don't fuck with magic," Fang says. Claw nods. "Never fuck with magic."
You laugh as they each settle down in their bunks. Fang shuts the lights off as you lay in the dark for a bit more.
"Sleep well, wolf-human." Claw says. Fang mumbles something in return. You smile again, bidding them goodnight before closing your eyes to sleep.
Home, sweet home. Finally.

Ok so I know I keep writing concepts here and I never actually write chapters or parts of any one of my stories BUT I have a concept that I might actually be able to start because it should be short
Human!GN!reader x various monsters
Ok so I’m thinking modern time period, reader just moved into an apartment whose residents are mainly monsters and the like
And since most of them are monsters, a lot of them have better hearing abilities than humans so they can just kinda hear everyone. Some request special sound canceling stuff for their apartments to cancel out noises outside the apartment. Some don’t because they want to be more aware of potential threats to the building or themselves. It just depends on the person.
So because of that most of them can hear reader doing whatever she does inside her apartment. They usually ignore it out of respect for their privacy but every so often they say something out loud that they think is just cute or funny that they listen in.
And remember that reader JUST moved in so they’ve yet to meet any of the people around their in the building. Maybe one or two of them helped bring their stuff into the apartment but that’s about it.
So there’s just a bunch of these monsters on like the floor above and below reader, listening to the do their silly things along with her neighbors on either side of the apartment.
This is starting to sound really creepy but in my mind it’s not, I’m just wording it kinda wrong here.
Anyways I’m thinking of like two werewolf roommates to the right, and a demon lady to reader’s left. Maybe like a gentleman dragon above and a naga below??? I have no idea
I just think this idea’s really cute and if any of y’all prefer different monsters or want more monsters to be introduced as the story continues then put it in an ask because this is a side account and I can’t respond to comments
