Ourgh it’s so green here, BUT!! UPDATE ON THAT ANIMATIC!! I’m drawing each frame by hand, no repeats, and while that allows for smoother and more fluid animation FUCK IT TAKES SO LONGGG UGHHHHHHHH!! And I’ll have to keep an eye on the sizing of everything too, so much work :’)
But I’m enjoying the process, as long form animation is a very interesting concept to me (you can animate things…. For long periods of time? …Inchresting…..)

Not a tarot card reading, only based on my intuition.
Divider
Pile 1:
Yourself.
Why do you need to let go of yourself? What made you come to this decision? Is it because you do not love yourself? Are you insecure of yourself? Do you assume that people will find you more attractive if you were social? What made you come to the decision, honestly.
Honestly, I don’t know why you would be insecure of yourself. I don’t know why you don’t even like yourself. The energy I feel about you is fantastic. I would love to be your friend. You have this type of energy where you include everyone but at the same time, you take care of yourself. That is a worthy quality, that does not make you selfish, and it certainly as heck does not make you rude or cruel.
Some of you have people in your life who called you a d//ck because you didn’t want to do something that they ask for. You’re not one, and you certainly deserve to be selfish. We are human beings. We have emotions, and we must take care of ourselves before others or else we will crumble into pieces and let ourselves drown.
I want you to let go of the things that do not define you; I want you to let go of the negativity people have associated you with that is not true. And I truly want you to understand that everyone is completely different, no one is the same, and you must cut off people who have said things like that, and expected things from you.
I hear that some of you might have been people pleasers because of trauma that happened during your childhood with a family member, especially a parent. I see an imagery of a young child, who is doing something they truly love, they’re drawing with crayons on a piece of paper, and though it doesn’t look the best, they decided to show their parent. But their parent reaction wasn’t what the child expected and the parent was harsh towards them, so the child felt like they weren’t worth it and their piece of work is pathetic. The child is running back into their room and I see ripped up pieces of paper of their artwork on the ground and I see them their face buried in their arms on the desk. They think about what the parents said to them and their energy is hurting, but they don’t cry.
My intuition says that this is basically how you feel, but this is also your inner child. Intuition tells me that you must heal your inner child. You must do the things that you like when you were a child before the stigma of people’s expectations attacked you. If you are able to divert what they have said to and about you that hurt your feelings and if you’re able to exchange that negativity into positivity, then you will endless opportunities for yourself and be able to heal your inner child and yourself in the process.
Pile 2:
Your job.
You need to let go of the job that you are currently working with because it is draining you. I feel such stressful energy coming from this pile. I can see that you’re working incredibly hard at this job but it’s not taking you anywhere, it is not growing you as a person. I see an imagery of you, typing very fast on a computer as it’s very dark outside with a blue hue (4-5 am), very stressed out, and trying to get the deadline.
One thing my intuition is telling me is that these people don’t even care about you. They want you to work and that is how they get paid. Also my intuition says, “you already have the idea of what you want to have as your occupation. You have these dreams and these aspirations that you want to take forth with, but you do not, out of fear. The fear that we have is something that we should not let it control us, it should not be a reminder to us that we cannot do something, it should be there so we can become more determined to fulfill our dreams and aspirations. You already know that you can do this, there is no need for you to worry and stress out so much.”
I hear from my intuition that you should not quit your job right now however, you should take into consideration that this is not what you want to do. Because you know what you want to do and I can feel that you know as well. You also have this vision, idea, and visualization of what you want to do—keep at it and I kid you not, you will have what you desire and you’ll have to work that draining job anymore.
Pile 3:
Your mom.
I’m hearing that this pile has a narcissistic mother and the person who is reading this has this feeling to forgive. I can feel that your mother makes you feel guilty for leaving her behind, not talking to her, and mostly, manipulating you into thinking she’s a good mother. She is not. The energy I’m feeling is making me anxious, it’s something that no one deserves and it is awful. The energy I channeled is how you feel with her.
My intuition says, “this is your mother, yes, however she is not an actual mother figure of yours. You have a family member in your life that you see as a mother, you have always seen them as a mother, even as a child when you think of questions associate with a mother, or you think of mothers, in general, you always think about this person. This person is good. This person has great energy. This person is very loving and they love you very much. Don’t go back to your mother, the toxicity that she has around you is.. it feels like drowning. She believes that she is the most important person in the whole world, that your feelings are irrelevant, that everything that you have done well is because of her, but not because of yourself. That is not true. All the good things that you have done is because of you, remember that.”
I hear some of you lost your father at a young age, and with your mother, it has gone worse because of that. I hear that she blames you for his death, even though it is not your fault. I also feel this sensation that you always have to take care of her even as a child. You were the mother figure for her, when she should have been your mother—now you have this tendency to take care of other people when it’s not necessary, not like people pleaser, but more as in like I will give you so much but I don’t expect anything at all because I don’t deserve it; it is not true at all. The way I see it, and the way that I see it, your energy is beautiful. I can see that you deserve so much more so you must stop prioritizing other people and your mother and you need to let go of them both and work on yourself.

This is just how I'd draw Silver, Tails, and Blaze (with a cameo of Amy and Cream)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I've been contemplating Silver's design for a good while, I wanted to draw him with freckles, but since he has fur instead of skin, that wouldn't make a lot of sense (I realize now that animals can have spots on them, so you can expect more freckled designs >:D). Then it hit me, he has Chaos Energy! Just have the freckles be a marking of his Chaos Abilities!
I made him the Guardian of the Time Stones, since it makes obvious sense. You have a time traveller, and a means of time travel, so why are the two not used together??
He's wearing pants because (head canon time >:)) back when Humans and Mobians first interacted, some Mobians mixed their culture in with Humans. That includes wearing entire outfits, living in houses, and having human sounding first and last names. Over the 200 years and since this is a post apocalypse wasteland, it's safer to wear clothes than to not. Though some Mobians still don't wear shirts because it is extremely uncomfortable for them because of extra fur and quills/ spikes.
(+Bonus image of Silver eating a burger because he probably never got to have good food in his 'bad future')
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Tails! As Tails grows to a teen, he gets more brown patterns on his fur, the one drawn here is when he's 8. I love the idea of Tails having 2 different colored tails and having them create an effect when he flies with them.
I swapped his oversized gloves with fitting ones, but he has a section of it blue as a reminder of the blue wrist straps Sonic gave him to help make the oversized ones fit him. He also wears socks that matches Sonic fur color (because brothers)
His Miles Electric also goes through a lot of changes. The Miles Electric goes through upgrades depending on what console you can play the game on. In lore reason: it's because he's constantly upgrading the machine. So when he first starts making the Miles Electric (although it is very basic compared to what it is today, only being used as a Chaos Emerald Tracker), it looked like a Game Gear, and in Frontiers: it looks like a Nintendo Switch for example. :)
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Blaze was always going to be fun to draw. I made her outfit more fit to be active in (since it's gotta be uncomfortable running in heels and a coat). I like the idea of when she's extremely focused or using strong emotions, her ponytail and tail tip will catch on fire. I replaced the fuzzy material at the end of her gloves with gold bracelets and more jewelry (I'm sorry).
I made the gem on her forehead also a pattern on her arms because I think it'd be a nice touch, and a way to add red-ish pink to more of her character instead of pretty much just on her face.
(+ Amy and Cream :D)

They are bad bad BAD guys
I'm not taking any of the posts that raise up the "Gortash is immoral piece of shit" theme personally, either they scold fans of his or defend them, but I have a thought in my head that I just want to spew out.
I'm one of those who isn't drawing nor writing things about Durge or Gortash demonstrate their immorality, I'm very into showing their softer sides and their possible care for each other. I'm also into "everyday life" of fantasy characters, so I'm fantasizing about that a lot and not about them going on a killing spree (though there is a place for that in my scenarios as well of course). Yet I do still imagine them being horrible people in terms of morality. I just think it... goes without saying? By me at least, because game said it all, of course!
Obviously Gortash is a horrible human being, no shit! That's part of his appeal as a fictional character with depth. He is interesting to dissect and when you do that, you can find him quite interesting, again, as a fictional character, not a boyfriend goal. A character that has many sides and does something in his life besides creating a brain reading machine with a talking head on top of it (I really like this invention, damn). He finds joy in regular things like all "the good guys", considers someone being attractive, funny, pleasant to talk to, listens to music and enjoys his favorite meal or whatever. Well, at least as far as I am aware he was participating in a lot a regular human shit. None of this makes him a better person though :D Oh love, such assholes stand right next to you at the supermarket, you wouldn't know.
My AU trio of rulers has cold hearts for anyone but themselves and each other. Astarion organizes evening balls for Durga's mass killing. Durga appreciates Gortash's designs. Gortash mesmerized by the power of the vampire and wants the same or more for himself, to put it roughly.
Their children are pretty close to being psychopaths for their parents are not better and allow their offspring to be just as cruel as the Chosen ones.
It's just that... well, what really can I say about it. I'm not into drawing guts anyway. Though maybe I should start talking through drawings about it at least. Playing one hell of a killer was quite refreshing lately. Many of us have our own dark urges. Liking such characters and playing as them is scratching such urge nicely and it's fine. Good even. We're not liking fictional villains because we want them in real life, but because associating with such characters is a nice way of letting off or out negative feelings, playing them out in fiction instead of accumulate negative emotions or lash out at real people. Use it as an instrument to relax if you need it. If you don't, well we do, we use it, we find joy in it. Happy to maul as many stupid 3d faces as game allows me to.
Now what do I draw to show that character is a nasty evil being?..

damn I haven't been here for a long time, well, I think that no one even noticed that I was missing :D
I probably should have posted this post as soon as I decided to draw my AU, but... to be honest, I didn’t want to show it just because Howdy’s face seemed crap to me...
a little about the characters :]
Sally: she is 17, nicknamed “buffoon”, she is cheerful, energetic and very emotional, which is why she most often cries, even if she is having fun, and she is also ready to do anything to ensure that her performance goes perfectly, even if she has to sacrifice your health or someone's life...
Howdy: he is 29, nicknamed "long", he is calm, polite and patient, Howdy is a seller of cursed things and nightmares, but also sells ordinary things, such as food, medicine, tools, etc. and he also has a black cat named night :D
Barnaby: he is 40 years old, nicknamed "Bobik", a playful big dog who likes to drink moonshine, sometimes his head detaches from his body and rolls around the whole village, even if Barnoby himself does not want this, so he sews his head to the body , large thick threads
Eddie: he is 32, has the nickname “leshiy”, the local forester who guards the forest and kicks out anyone who goes there, pretends to be angry and rude, but believe me, in fact he is a very good and warm-hearte
Poppy: she is 41, for her caring nature she received the nickname “mother”, she is soft-hearted, although sometimes poronitis, but in such a place it is normal, she loves to do handicrafts and she is also a good potion maker and also the most powerful magician in the village, although magic she rarely studies, and it’s better not to come to her at night, because of her curse it’s dangerous.
Frank: 34 years old, nicknamed "Smoky", cold-blooded, but curious, when it comes to the next "anomaly" he forgets what self-preservation is, but when studying these "anomalies" he is always helped by Eddie and Julie, Frank is also that rare resident of this village, who is not a native resident, but at the same time decided to stay in it.
Julie: 25 years old, nicknamed "Wolfbane", introverted but loves to play, can often be seen dancing at night in the cemetery, she is a witch and also a half-breed because her mother is human and her father is a demon
Wally: 21 years old, nicknamed “khudo”, is engaged not only in drawing but also carving figures from bones, but unfortunately, lately he has had an art block... he hates Sally, because of her mistake his face has become disfigured, with It is very difficult for him to carry on a conversation; he often just remains silent and looks at his interlocutor

okay hear me out, Miraak bf headcanons?
uh, hell yeah! :D
Remember to not be a silent reader, like and share your thoughts! I love hearing everyone's feedback. <3
Tumblr media
MIRAAK BF HEADCANONS!
— what a man.
Tumblr media
if you’re a fan for the: ‘they are mean to everyone but me’ trope then he is the man for you. bonus if you also like enemies to lovers.
miraak isn’t easy to love, let’s be honest. but it’s worth it, especially when he loves back. he loves back hard.
whether you are dragonborn or not, there is that push and pull with him, mostly because of him.
the whole ‘what is happening to me? this isn’t me.’ and then disappears to only come back when he realises he misses you.
if you’ve watched ‘once upon a time’, rumple and belle, that sort of dynamic.
he craves power and needs it all, but when his own ‘belle’ - you - comes into his life you, and his own emotions begin to sidetrack him from his ventures to becoming all powerful.
but as time passes he can’t resist his heart anymore, the pounding becomes louder than his thoughts and ultimately he makes his way back to you.
and for the first time in … well forever, he feels human. it’s a process for him, and for you also. but good always wins and love is the strongest power to ever exist.
he realises how much you mean to him when sees you hurt, he’s never felt anger in his life like that until then - and it wasn’t because of his own gain or loss this time.
he’s that ‘i don’t give a shit’ type and then his actions say otherwise.
like you could be walking around tipsy, causing a scene and he’s like: ‘what an idiot. i hate them’ but picks you up and carries you to sleep and makes sure you sleep on your side so you don’t choke if you wake up sick.
and the type to grab your face with both his hands and checks you scarily worried while muttering stuff like, ‘you’re an idiot! you could have gotten killed!’ and kissed your forehead once he’s checked you’re okay.
after years of work and ultimately failing, i see him being worn out and drained - physically, mentally and also emotionally.
you become the reason of his existence, he truly believes if it weren’t for you he’d have ended up killing himself because of his own greed - which is true.
so his best moments are when it’s just you both, bathing with your back pressed against his chest as he washes your hair, or when you’re in bed and you’ve already fallen asleep while he draws pattens on your back gently with his fingers.
it’s the simple times in the quiet with you where he sees how much has changed since you entered his life.
but he rarely vocalises these things, he keeps up his hard-ass cover until small intimate moments happen where you see the mask he wears crack as he begins to smile at you, the corners of his eyes crinkle and when he laughs harder than ever because of something you said.
he reads you to sleep, it happened accidentally once while he began reading out loud for no reason, you were off in seconds and now it’s become a regular thing if you’re finding it hard to doze off.
his reading sleepy voice >>>>. perfect.
his favourite ways to showing love is definitely through acts of service, helping you out. showing he cares because he remembered something you needed to do, which he decided to do for you.
you needed to sell some stuff? he already has, here’s your gold. you need some food after you’ve been busy all day, good because he’s already been cooking for you both.
he also has a sweet tooth, will eat sweetrolls like he’s on man vs. food.
when a guard makes a comment of, ‘let me guess someone stole your sweetroll?’ at first he’s confused and looking around to see who stole his shiz, like an angry chihuahua. then once he realises the guard is just a dick and then he has to hold himself back from head butting him.
you don’t even notice as you’re selling some weapons you found on your travels as he’s glaring at the guard.
definitely a petty idiot.
if someone pickpockets him he will snatch it back and then send them rolling like a bowling ball.
you wake up before him and get out of bed without the daily morning cuddles he takes it very personally, sitting there with a grumpy face and messy morning hair. watching you but refusing to reply until you hug it out.
but like you know.. he totally doesn’t care! your hugs aren’t that great!! (they’re like much needed therapy to him really)
gives you shoulder and forehead kisses a lot, simple and sweet. he does it a lot, to remind you he cares without having to actually say it. especially before bed and when you wake up.
he’s that condescending guy who is oddly soft with you, even you get whiplash from his two sides sometimes.
but he adores you, i mean … he did leave his life’s work behind him and began again with you. must mean something. :]

Adrien Agreste…and Data from Star Trek. The parallels kept leaping out at me. Then I started talking about it with my husband and a friend and it spiralled. Bear in mind, this whole post is full of Star Trek spoilers, including the films, especially Nemesis.
Unnatural Creations
Adrien’s a sentibeing and Data’s an android. They’re both created by ‘unnatural’ means – created by a human rather than God/nature/whatever you believe. Consequently, they both begin their lives as blank slates, with no childhood memories, and they long to fulfil their programming. With Data, this is more literal, while in Wishmaker Adrien tells us all he ever wanted was to be what his parents wanted him to be.
This lends them a similar sense of naivety, leaving them open to being fooled or even used. In a way, they are both Pinocchio, wishing to be ‘real boys’. Pinocchio even wears a feather in his cap, which is what led me to do this drawing a few years ago.
Tumblr media
Data and Adrien’s ‘fathers’ (creators) have made other children, too – other androids and sentibeings – not necessarily to public knowledge.
Dreams
Over time, both Adrien and Data come to desire individuality. An integral part of this is having dreams. Adrien’s dreams come in the form of personal ambitions, beginning with his love for Ladybug. Data has ambitions, too, but his dreams also come in a more literal form, i.e. as he evolves, he starts dreaming like a real human.
'Evil' Twins
Another crucial part of being human is self-reflection, highlighted by Data and Adrien’s ‘evil twins’. For Data, this is Lore, made according to the same design but with his own personality. He obtains the emotion chip intended for Data. Where Data is all logic, Lore is all feeling without boundaries. He’s the emotional potential exploding unchecked.
Adrien has a few ‘shadow’ sides, which I’ve explored before. An obvious one is Felix, wielder of the peacock miraculous, i.e. the power of emotion. Then there’s Cat Blanc, who is all of Adrien’s darker thoughts and feelings bursting forth uncontrolled.
What Lore, Felix and Cat Blanc have in common is that they are abused sons, bitter and resentful that their fathers never gave them the love they longed for. They lash out from grief and trauma. Also, Lore killed his/Data’s father, while Cat Blanc killed Gabriel in an alternate timestream.
Data needs to face and deal with this ‘shadow’ side before he’s ready to receive the emotion chip intended for him and find the happy medium between the two extremes of the emotional spectrum. We see this when he is forced to deactivate Lore, thus inheriting the emotion chip, learning from the mistakes his brother made and trying to do better.
Likewise, Adrien needs to come to terms with his ‘shadow’ before he’s ready to face the final battle with Monarch. In Conformation, this played out as Adrien having the emotional maturity to recognised when he was out of control and make the decision to remove his miraculous, stepping away from the battle before he could do damage.
This is without even getting into the mirror universes in both shows, where Data has a much more direct ‘evil’ alter, and Cat Noir comes head-to-head with Claw Noir. (Sadly, we never saw Data hug Evil Data the way we saw our two Noirs accept each other.) There was also the very brief Copycat moment. Adrien’s had a lot of doubles.
It’s interesting to note that Lore believed he was superior to humans and had a genocidal plan, much like Felix snaps all the non-sentibeings out of existence in Emotion. Lore also dresses like Data and poses like him to fool their father and others on the ship, like Felix does with Adrien, attempting to fool Gabriel and others in Adrien’s life. A key difference is that Lore never really gets the chance for redemption, whereas Felix is only 14 and has his whole life ahead of him, with the opportunity for positive evolution. He discovers the love he’s lacked as a child and chooses to change.
At one point, Lore also implants the emotion chip in Data and uses it to control him remotely, inspiring anger and hate in him, thus weaponising him. Felix makes it very clear that he would never try to control Adrien. Instead, it’s Gabriel who controls Adrien via the twin rings, the Alliance, and magical dust causing him to live out his worst nightmare. In Cat Blanc and Ephemeral, we also see Gabriel akumatise Adrien, using his darkest feelings to transform him into a weapon.
Perfection
When Data first meets his brother, Lore convinces Data that he was created as a 'less perfect' version of him. When they are later summoned back to their father's secret home, Data learns this is untrue and is fascinated to realise that he is 'not less perfect than Lore'. Adrien, too, is repeatedly described as 'perfect'.
Cats
Data has a beloved pet cat. Adrien, of course, spends all his private time with Plagg. I also can't help but notice that Data and Cat Noir's eyes are similar in colour.
Artistry / Education
Data is a keen painter and violinist, and well-versed in just about everything, bearing in mind he was programmed with encyclopaedic knowledge. Adrien is a pianist and, thanks to his father’s programming, is also highly skilled in multiple disciplines and languages…and seems to know a lot of very random information, e.g. Morse code.
Undead Mothers and the Demented Fathers Who Can’t Let Them Go
Adrien’s father can’t get over the death of his wife and keeps her cryogenically sustained in the basement. Similarly, Data’s ‘father’ was married to a woman Data deems his ‘mother’. She, too, died long ago, but his father transferred her personality and memories into an android body. She’s the only android in the galaxy who can pass as completely human, even in medical scans.
Self-Sacrifice
Cat Noir is always sacrificing himself for Ladybug. We don’t know if he remembers those moments of death or not. He seems to throw himself in front of her on instinct, as if it were the natural order of things. He believes he’s not as valuable as she is.
In Star Trek: Nemesis Data sacrificed himself for Picard – although he did see himself as of equal value. In fact, he argued strenuously throughout the series for equal status with humans. And to all of us watching Nemesis…I can’t begin to tell you how hard his ‘death’ hit me.
On paper, it makes sense for an android – a robot – to sacrifice himself so a human may live. But we spent seven seasons plus several films getting to know Data. Android or not, he was a beloved character, he was a friend, he formed relationships. That’s why the crew gave him a full funeral and eulogies.
Likewise, Cat’s sacrifices hit Ladybug hard, something many of us fanfiction writers have explored in depth.
Programming
Perhaps the biggest difference is that Data knew he was programmed. He knew he was at the mercy of his microchip. He knew when his emotion chip was installed. He was wholly conscious of his developmental journey.
Yet, even after five seasons, Adrien has no idea. He doesn’t know he’s been programmed because he doesn’t know he’s a sentibeing. Like something out of Blade Runner – and like Data’s mother – Adrien would pass the Empathy Test and be deemed human yet still have no idea of his origins.
The fact is, you can’t break your programming until you know you’ve been programmed.
Data was given all the chances he needed to live a full life and make a fully informed decision about what he wanted to do with it at the end when he made that final sacrifice. Adrien has none of that. He was edging towards revelation, realising his father was controlling him somehow, but all of that was taken from him at the end of S5. It’s like if Data were given a hard reset.
Marinette’s choice to keep the truth from Adrien mirrors Data’s choice to keep the truth from his android mother. She believes she’s a human, the original woman she was made to replicate, and he chooses to let her carry out her life under that pretence.
'I want to be a real boy!'
As I said, Data and Adrien are both like Pinocchio, trying to be ‘real boys’.
At the end of Data’s life, it didn’t matter whether he was made by a scientist or by organic means. He touched people’s lives, and that made him real in all the ways that matter.
Similarly, if Adrien got snapped away, people would remember him. They would mourn him. It doesn’t matter if there’s a body left behind or not. He too has touched so many lives, and that makes him just as real and important as any organic human.
In these ways, I believe they both succeed at being 'real' regardless of how they came into being.
I bet I could think of more parallels if I tried, but this has already got long enough :)

Do you have any advice for drawing in the Aardman style?
alright so I'm literally in the bathtub writing this so if you would like some visuals let me know but basically- take everything you know about facial human anatomy (ok well maybe not EVERYTHING) and throw it out the window. First you're gonna want to identify the classic "aardman face" (which I actually have a sketch of and will post to this later). Expressions are often vacant, awkward, and a bit silly, but it's all part of the charm. Avoid the urge to make everything super stretchy and expressive (this is particularly hard for me bc I have put blood sweat tears and years into trying to adopt the "expressive fluid" style to my art), remember these characters are made out of plastacine, they actually look closer to how a real human face emotes than how, say, a d*sney or p*xar at character does (not as exaggerated, more grounded in reality).
Another thing I'd like to mention is that I don't copy the aardman style to an exact t, I still incorpeerate my personal tastes and how I like to draw into it (making the eyes a little more spaced, giving the chickens more wing-like hands instead of just actual humanoid hands), so don't be afraid to add your own little flavour/flare to it! That's the beauty of art is that no two people are ever going to be able to draw the same art style in the exact same way, so might as well have fun with it.
But, as a general rule for aardman, focus more on the essence of the character rather than how "aesthetically pleasing" they look. They mostly have goofy little round eyes, curved mouths (actually really similar to how smiles are drawn in Steven universe, think of the bean shape), and larger hands (I love them hehe).
I also advise just looking at behind the scenes of aardman and studying the way the figurines look, how they're moved from frame to frame, etc. Just really look at them and try your best to translate it into paper, at the end of the day it really comes down to practicing! Or just scribbling until you feel like you've made something good, that's what I do sometimes.

We'll just ignore what I said earlier as I want to fuel this flame, also I'm bored.
N Harmonia Fluff Alphabet
(written by yours truly)
A ctivities - What do they like to do with their s/o? How do they spend their free time with them?
Well personally if I were do an activity with that said s/o it would definitely be along the lines of gardening, drawing and or puzzle solving!
Small things like doing a jigsaw puzzle or planting new life into the ground one flower at a time fills me with this warm and fluffy feeling, it's a feeling that tells me there are some good people in the world and not all of them are cruel.
B eauty - What do they admire about their s/o? What do they think is beautiful about them?
The one thing that attracts me more than anything is both animal lovers and people with confidence, more less the bold type. I just love how they're not afraid to speak out to themselves nor afraid of admitting defeat and open to learning anew, of course everyone is petty once in a while (Arceus knows I'm a good example) and I truly don't mind that.
So the thing I would admire and find beautiful in an s/o is their determination and boldness, if we're talking physical stuff it would definitely be the eyes.
C omfort - How would they help their s/o when they feel down/have a panic attack etc.?
Now this one is a tough question, I'm not good in the face with negative emotions but if I were to be in this situation I would definitely give them small praises and cradle them in my arms (with their consent of course not everyone wants to be touched while having a panic attack.)
My hugs are known to be quite soft and warm so it's most likely it will put them to sleep, it's either that or me rocking and humming them to sleep. I hate seeing others in pain.
D reams - How do they picture their future with their s/o?
Children 100%, it's a small fantasy (not that kind of fantasy you sick perverts.) of mine to have a family of my own if I were to find the one. I find children adorably innocent and I'd love to raise them as my own, it fills me with joy to be looked up to!
I can picture it perfect, a big cottage with flowers and vines growing in an abundance, the children playing with the friends of the forest as I watch them in pure contentment.
I've thought about this one in my own time quite a lot and I truly hope it will come into fruition instead of staying a small day dream.
E qual - Are they the dominant one in the relationship, or rather passive?
Equal. Nothing more needs to be said, moving on.
F ight - Would they be easy to forgive their s/o? How are they fighting?
I hate fighting to my very core so I'd try to avoid it but of course, fighting is inevitable. I'll admit I have a tendency to raise my voice but I promise you I'm not doing it on purpose! It's merely a cruel reflex of mine, it will take a while for me to trust you one again dependant on how severe the fight was, I have tendencies to hold grudges for a very very long time.
With that being said I will always take fault and apologize. I am not immune to mistakes, I am human, I will always be open to admitting defeat and learn a different pathway so we can avoid fights like those in the future.
G ratitude - How grateful are they in general? Are they aware of what their s/o is doing for them?
I've been told I'm quite oblivous at points so take this with a grain of salt. I would be incredibly grateful for what I have at that certain time (Arceus knows I don't deserve it), I will forever be grateful for it as long as I am still breathing.
H onesty - Do they have secrets they hide from their s/o? Or do they share everything?
I have the inability to lie, it leaves a bad taste on my tongue. Besides, I have no need to lie nor keep secrets. Relationships required trust and honesty as a foundation with without those two things present the relationship is sure to crumble down into ash.
Of course this does not mean I will share absolutely everything with them, like for instance my past and such but if asked I would be inclined to tell them with little hesitation, I trust them therefore they should trust me.
I nspiration - Did their s/o change them somehow, or the other way around? Like trying out new things or helped them overcome personal problems?
Oh 100% they did, they would've have most likely allowed me to get more accustomed to things I never would I thought of before, for instance; meeting new people, emotions, personal vendettas, self hatred, you get the picture.
J ealousy - Do they get jealous easily? How do they deal with it?
Why would I be jealous? I trust them and they trust me, if not then it wouldn't work in the first place! Jealousy is not something I experience very often so therefore this question is irrelevant.
K iss - Are they a good kisser? What was the first kiss like?
Oh dear, I wouldn't know if I was a good kisser or not as I have let to lose my first kiss.
As for what it would be like? It would be a lot of confusion and I would look a kin to that of a Cheri Berry! I would be lying if I said I didn't also fantasize about losing my first kiss to the one someday.
If we're talking favourite places to kiss? The neck hands down, I think it's the perfect place to kiss! Romantic or sexual I love neck kisses to my very core.
L ove Confession - How would they confess to their s/o?
Oh they would have to confess to me first, I'm way to nervous to say something. I worry that if I do I'll be seen as a creep for it, it's one of my worse fears to be berated and made fun of by somebody I love.
M arriage - Do they want to get married? How do they propose? What would the marriage be like?
Marriage is completely up to them but I'd prefer if we did, it just feels more personal and intimate y'know? Like these rings are tying us together with the red string of fate, binding us together forever.
I would gladly marry them! It will take a while before I'm comfortable with the idea of it but once I am I promise you, it'll be a blast.
N icknames - What do they call their s/o?
Ahem. My love, dear, honey, sweetheart, my beautiful Dandelion, etc etc etc.
O n Cloud Nine - What are they like when they are in love? Is it obvious for others? How do they express their feelings?
Oh to have such a blissful feeling as of being in love! I'd be very oblivious and yet so content and happy, I would admire them from afar while berating myself for thinking in such a way.
My actions will be a lot more intimate too! Swaying more to romantic than platonic, if they tell me to stop then I will. I would never go over somebody's boundaries! That's just disgusting and cruel.
P DA - Are they upfront about their relationship? Do they brag with their s/o in front of others? Or are they rather shy to kiss etc. when others are watching?
In public the PDA is minimal but still there in small things like handholding, I will still flush up red at these small things though. Also yes I am a very shy kisser, especially on the lips. It's just so intimate and overwhelming but in a good way? I can't describe it!
Q uirk - Some random ability they have that’s beneficial in a relationship.
I do not know? I suppose it would be my animal charm? Despite being in this world that lacks of Pokemon I still have my charm, I can attract strays and house pets miles away, they all seem to trust me as well too. Not even the most fearful and skittish of cats can resist my loving charm, so if you like animals that's one thing to look forward to!
R omance - How romantic are they? What would they do to make their s/o happy? Cliché or rather creative?
I'm cliche, not bother hiding it. I'm the type that would get you a collection of plushies, roses and even bake you sweets without expecting anything in return. It makes me swoon to see them so happy with my gifts, so I'd say I'm romantic to a fault.
S upport - Are they helping their s/o achieve their goals? Do they believe in them?
Support in every way! Work? Easy, allow me to lend a hand. Chores? I already did them! (I'm a clean freak sorry) anything you can think of I'd somehow assist you in, no you can not say no and yes I mean everything.
T hrill - Do they need to try out new things to spice out your relationship? Or do they prefer a certain routine?
I do not understand the infatuation with finding thrill in danger? Why not keep it mundane? I'm alright with doing things the same as we've always done it thank you.
U nderstanding - How good do they know their partner? Are they empathetic?
Please, I'm one of the most understanding people out there. I would never judge them under any circumstances, doesn't matter if they're gay, trans or ace, to me they are just as human as everybody else and they deserve the right to love who they want!
Hell, I'm even genderqueer myself! To add to this I am indeed gay but you all can headcanon indifferent, I love seeing how you all mirror yourselves onto my character and seek comfort in it, just know that I'm watching and I fully support you no matter what. Everybody deserves to be who they truly are <3
V alue - How important is the relationship to them? What is it’s worth in comparison to other things in their life?
I have no point in lying, my love for Pokemon will forever trump any romantic relationships with a human I have. There's nothing else to add to it, moving on.
W ild Card - A random Fluff Headcanon.
Hm, something fluffy about me. I suppose when I get really happy my laugh is really contagious and loud that I can't help but cover my mouth! I have these sharp canine teeth too so that adds to my laugh and smile. I can't help but not hug them tightly as I laugh at whatever funny thing they show me.
Also my eyes glow a nice blue and sparkle when happy as well, they also glow blue under other circumstances but that's besides the point. I also have tendencies to pick up that said future s/o and tuck them into bed and kiss them goodnight if I find them sleeping in an odd place or if I see them overworking themselves.
X OXO - Are they very affectionate? Do they love to kiss and cuddle?
Once comfortable I am very affectionate, and I mean very. I love kisses despite how shy I get, you'll never go a day without cuddles or even a bone crushing hug. Anything affectionate you can think of I'd most likely do in their favour, I'm just a very loving creature overall.
Y earning - How will they cope when they’re missing their partner?
I'll admit I'm clingy to a fault so if miss them very terribly and once I see them again they will be greeted with a bone crushing hug and some stray tears.
I'd try to cope with it using or doing stuff that reminds me of them, like taking care of a Pokemon who acts similar to you.
Z eal - Are they willing to go to great lenghts for the relationship? If so, what kind of?
Now this really depends on the circumstances, of course I'm not going to leave them to die but I do draw the line. The thought of obsessing over a relationship makes me shiver in fear, it's not something I want.

Heyyyyy, I love reading about your thoughts on Spencer! Never stop, pls. Just got into the fandom and its amazing to see other people delving into a character that you love. He's such an interesting person, although one with a huge amount of trauma. I'd love to hear more about your insights~
oh my 🥺🥺🥺
Spencer is such an important blorbo to me and it's quite an unique experience too- because even tho I had been in fandoms since I was 24 it's the first time I actually get to understand what the character is saying without hundreds of translators and interpretations to get a firm grasp of HOW he speaks, and what tone and what is talking about and how it compares to his peers (English is not my first language, but I understand it way better than Japanese, obviously lmao) so like I can watch an episode, overthink it, and spit whatever interpretation I got from it directly without fear of it being an mistranslation :D also the first time that it's played by an actual human being instead of a drawing so sometimes I feel weird and intrusive as well :D
Okno, now seriously tho- Spencer is legit so fun to analyze and how he plays with his archetype. I read in TV Tropes once that there is this character trope called The Spock, it refers to the one character in a squad that tackles every situation with calm and logic, to an almost emotionless degree, often balanced out by another character that leaps onto action without a second thought and it's moved solely by emotion. However, wanting t apply logic and having nerves of steel in the face of impossible situations (and this is debatable tbh lmao) is as far as that trope goes because Spence is a softie, an emotional clusterfuck, an unstoppable force and a pushover all in one single 185cm of parental issues, puppy eyes and too much sugar.
He is smart and often says the....not quite sensible thing by accident, and uses big words, and reads a lot, and has a photo of Nikolas Tesla with him for some reason- but he is also sarcastic, wildly energetic, petty, a sweetheart, a sassy bitch, a complete loser, the only person that knows what best and isn't afraid to say it- etc, etc, etc. He doesn't believe that the needs of the many outweigh the few but actually latches up to a reduced certain amount of people that he considers giving what is most important to him -his career- up. Even if it hasn't been that long since he knows them.
I just....adores this little petulant ray of sunshine and won't shut up about him anytime soon so I am glad you like my rants ❤️

r u willing to give us some info abt the streamer au? You’ve mentioned it before but I’m just curious abt it tbh :D
oh I AM MORE THAN WILLING. PREPARE URSELF
so: what happens when you put the physical manifestation of ADHD into an apartment with 3 different flavors of autism, give her a successful twitch career, and blast all of them with Beam Of Insufferably Horny?
the streamer au LMFAO (putting this under a cut bc it got. INSANELY long omfg)
normally i dont rlly like human aus (they’re just not my thing) but this stupid au wormed it’s way into my heart and now i cherish it lmfao. there’s no real set plot, there’s just Situations these lil guys get into. some are soft and adorable (ie. pebbles’ first kiss with sig) or hilarious (sig’s ridiculous amount of flirting with his own chat) or just fuckin stupid (their halloween stream where they do a whole production where chat has to figure out who “killed” sig and it’s just chaos). tbh ive found myself accidentally focusing on the ragequit aspect of the au despite the entire polycule being a thing (lilypad, sunstone, traffic light, ragequit, and hurricane all happen)
i think the Main Things that sum up the au are:
Sig punched Pebbles’ transphobic (now ex) boyfriend in the face and spent a night in jail bc of it LMFAO
Pebbles and Suns meet after Sig drags Pebbles to a party at the college he attends (and Sig attended for a single semester before the whole streamer thing took off). Suns went to catholic school and is incredibly repressed and hesitant with Pebbles and Sig ends up having to instigate a lot of shit to prevent them from just fuckin. never going past hand holding.
Speaking of, Pebbs is an art major and drew all of Sig’s custom emotes. He also loves drawing everyone in the apartment, though usually keeps those drawings hidden from everyone in his sketchbooks
Wind and Sig being childhood best friends who are each others ride or die, they were each others first like, everything. The funniest one being where Wind is having a crisis bc he thinks he might be gay and Sig is just like “hm well I’m kinda a guy maybe kiss me and see if you like it?” And well. Wind has been kissing this fool for 7 years now and does not plan on stopping.
Moon is usually a moderator but does make appearances occasionally and chat loves her. Suns will not go on camera without a face mask. Pebbles was originally camerashy but ends up being in pretty much every stream after a while.
Sig refuses to tell chat his gender and thinks it’s funny watching everyone guess. If you ask/ask for pronouns he just replies with “whatever’s funniest” or “whatever makes this gay”, or if someone’s being rude about it, “whatever pisses you off most”
Sig is like. Insanely good at FPS games and holds multiple top rankings in competitive esports. Yui (Unparalleled Innocence) is one of her main rivals. It’s cute tho. They’re like. rivals who kiss.
Pebbles is Moon’s adopted brother, and has some pretty bad weakness in his hands/legs bc he had cancer as a child. They all support him a lot (Pebbles is rlly stubborn about “being okay”) and Sig does a lot of charity streams for things like forgiving medical debt and cancer research. Sig and Moon bought a huge thing of stickers to help decorate Pebbles’ crutches so he’d like them more.
Pebbles’ name is Pebbles because Moon came up with it as a nickname when they were kids, and when Pebbles came out he chose that as his name. Moon cried about it. Also I just like the whole “transmasc w a silly name” thing bc I feel like it fits him.
Sig helps Pebbles dye his hair (emo mf) but requires that if he helps she gets to put streaks of color in his bangs. It’s usually pink but sometimes she chooses a different color. Sig has the underside of his hair dyed purple. Pebbles’ natural hair color is a pretty light brown.
They all have their cats ofc!! Messenger, Hunter, Arti, and Ruffles!! They were all either strays they found or adopted from a shelter.
That’s all I can think of rn! I wanna draw their designs eventually (and I have but I don’t rlly like them anymore bc OUGHHH I haven’t drawn people in for-goddamn-ever) but yeah!! Damn this got long LMFAO

What Was So Special About Greta Garbo?
An enigma onscreen and off, the actress only magnified her celebrity by suddenly renouncing it.
By Margaret Talbot December 6, 2021
Tumblr media
“If only once I could see a preview and come home feeling satisfied,” Garbo said.Photograph by Edward Steichen © 2021 The Estate of Edward Steichen / ARS, courtesy the George Eastman Museum
Fame is so powerful that renouncing it can seem like the supreme power move. Celebrities who retreat from the public eye (Howard Hughes, J. D. Salinger, Prince) will always be legends, no matter what else they may be. Rumored comebacks tantalize. Paparazzi circle. The mystery deepens. In 1941, at the age of thirty-six, Greta Garbo, one of the biggest box-office draws in the world, stopped acting and, though she lived for half a century more, never made another film. For a star who, more than any other, “invaded the subconscious of the audience,” as Robert Gottlieb writes in his new biography, “Garbo” (Farrar, Straus & Giroux), this was an abdication, a privilege of monarchical proportions. But it was also a decision made by one particular, peculiar person who had never been temperamentally suited to celebrity in the first place. There was a reason, beyond the exertions of the Hollywood publicity machine, that a single line she uttered in one movie—“I want to be alone”—became so fused with her image. What can look like a strategy for keeping the public interested can also be a sincere and committed desire to keep it at bay.
Few other performers have ascended as quickly to mononymic status as Garbo did—she started off the way most of us do, with a first and last name, but the first soon fell away, like a spent rocket booster, in the ballyhoo surrounding her. When she appeared in her first sound picture, “Anna Christie,” the ads proclaimed, “Garbo talks!”; for her first sound comedy, “Ninotchka,” it was “Garbo laughs!” Quite why she became such a phenomenon is a puzzle to which film critics and biographers keep returning. Garbo made only twenty-eight movies in her lifetime. (By comparison, Bette Davis made close to ninety, and Meryl Streep has made nearly seventy and still counting.) That slender output could be part of the mystique, compounded by her disappearing act. But Garbo had acquired an enigmatic mythos even before she ended her career—the Hollywood colony treated her like royalty. Nor has it seemed to matter that only a handful of her movies are much watched or admired today.
What Garbo had to offer, above all, was her extraordinary face, at a time when the closeup, with its supercharged intimacy, its unprecedented boon to the emotional and erotic imagination, was still relatively new. Many of the shots credited as the first closeups were unlikely to have set hearts aflame, since they were often of objects—a shoe, a wrench. But filmmakers soon grasped the centripetal seductions of the human face in tight focus. The screenwriter and director Paul Schrader picks as a turning point the moment in a D. W. Griffith film from 1912, “Friends,” in which the camera comes in tight on Mary Pickford’s face, revealing her ambivalence about which of two suitors she should choose. “A real close-up of an actor is about going in for an emotional reason that you can’t get any other way,” Schrader writes. “When filmmakers realized that they could use a close-up to achieve this kind of emotional effect, cameras started coming in closer. And characters became more complex.”
A face as beautiful as Garbo’s—the enormous eyes and deep-set lids, the way love or tenderness or some private, unspoken amusement unknit her brows in an instant, melting her austerity—was almost overwhelming when it filled the screen. She belonged, as Roland Barthes wrote, “to that moment in cinema when the apprehension of the human countenance plunged crowds into the greatest perturbation, where people literally lost themselves in the human image.” This is not to diminish her craft as an actress. But her acting was perhaps most effective in her silent films or in nonverbal scenes in talking pictures in which her face is the canvas for emotion. In the famous last shots of “Queen Christina” (1933), Garbo’s androgynous Swedish ruler stands at the prow of a ship bearing her away from her country; the body of her lover, killed in a duel over her, is laid out on the deck. Garbo stares into the distance, her face a kind of mask but no less eloquent for it. The film’s director, Rouben Mamoulian, had told her that she must “make her mind and heart a complete blank,” empty her face of expression, so that the audience could impose whatever emotions they wanted on it. The scene would then be one of those “marvelous spots,” he said, where “a film could turn every spectator into a creator.”
She was skilled at inciting such projection. More than one contemporary in Hollywood noted that her magic truly showed up only on celluloid, like a ghostly luminescence undetectable until the film was developed. Clarence Brown, who directed Garbo in seven films, recalled shooting a scene with her, thinking it was fine, nothing special, then playing it back and seeing “something that it just didn’t have on the set.” On her face, he said, “You could see thought. If she had to look at one person with jealousy, and another with love, she didn’t have to change her expression. You could see it in her eyes as she looked from one to the other.” Garbo herself, with a kind of arch, adolescent indifference, never wanted to look at the rushes. According to Brown, she’d watch only when sound pictures were played in reverse: “That’s what Garbo enjoyed. She would sit there shaking with laughter, watching the film running backward and the sound going yakablom-yakablom. But as soon as we ran it forward, she wouldn’t watch it.”
Much has been written about Garbo over the years, but Gottlieb, a former editor of this magazine, has produced a particularly charming, companionable, and clear-eyed guide to her life and work—he has no axe to grind, no urgent need to make a counterintuitive case for her lesser movies, and he’s generous with his predecessors. By the end of the biography, I felt I understood Garbo better as a person, without the aura of mystery around her having been entirely dispelled—and, at this point, who would want it to be?
The actress who came to embody a kind of unattainable elegance, who would someday wear sumptuous period costumes with a grace so offhand that they might have been rumpled p.j.’s, grew up in a cramped apartment with no indoor plumbing, in one of Stockholm’s most impoverished neighborhoods. She was born Greta Lovisa Gustafsson on September 18, 1905, to parents from rural stock. Her mother was, in Gottlieb’s description, “practical, sensible, undemonstrative”; her father, an unskilled laborer, was handsome, musical, and fun, and Greta adored him. But he was stricken by kidney disease, and Greta, the youngest of three children, made the rounds of the charity hospitals with him. “She never forgot the humiliations they endured as poor people in search of live-or-die attention,” Gottlieb writes. She was fourteen when he died, and she dropped out of school, leaving her with a lasting embarrassment about her lack of formal education. She went to work to help support the family, first at a barbershop, where she applied shaving soap to men’s faces, then at a department store, where she sold and modelled hats. She said later that she was “always sad as a child for as long as I can think back. . . . I did some skating and played with snowballs, but most of all I wanted to be alone with myself.”
Alongside her shyness and her penchant for solitude, Greta harbored a passionate desire to be an actress. As a kid, she’d roam the city by herself, looking for theatres where she could stand at the stage door and watch the performers come and go. The first time Garbo was in front of the camera was at age fifteen, in an advertising film for the department store that employed her. Sweden had a thriving film industry, and she soon quit her day job to appear in a couple of movies. At Stockholm’s Royal Dramatic Theatre, to which she was accepted at seventeen, the young actors were instructed in a system that “scientifically” analyzed the semiotics of movement and gesture. Remarkably, some of her lecture notes from that time survive—she jotted down that “the head bent forward equals a mild concession” or a “condescending attitude,” and that “the throwing back of the head” conveys “a violent feeling such as love.” Barry Paris, an earlier biographer whom Gottlieb cites approvingly, notes that “Garbo in silent films would employ that system of gestural meaning to a high degree.” She did so in her sound pictures as well. When she plays the Russian ballerina in “Grand Hotel” (1932), her body language is jittery, neurotic. Depressed, she lets her head droop as if it were simply too heavy to hold up; surprised by delight at the prospect of a romance with John Barrymore’s gentleman jewel thief, she tosses her head back at giddy angles. It might have been laughable, but instead it’s riveting.
In the spring of 1923, the gifted film director Mauritz Stiller approached the Stockholm theatre looking for actresses to cast in his new movie, an epic based on a Swedish novel, “The Story of Gösta Berling.” Stiller came from a Jewish family in Finland; orphaned young, he had fled to Sweden to avoid being conscripted into the tsar’s Army. Garbo and he were never lovers—Stiller preferred men—but their relationship was perhaps the most important in both of their lives. With his commanding height, his taste for luxury (full-length fur coats, a canary-yellow sports car), and his domineering style with actors, he had more than a touch of the Svengali. But Stiller believed in Garbo at a time when, as one veteran actress put it, Greta was “this little nobody . . . an awkward, mediocre novice,” and he loved her. (He also seems to have been the one who suggested replacing “Gustafsson” with “Garbo.”)
When Hollywood came calling—in the form of Louis B. Mayer scouting European talent for M-G-M—it wasn’t clear whether Stiller was the lure or Garbo; the director was certainly better known. In any case, Stiller made sure that they were a package deal (and, Gottlieb adds, later upped Garbo’s pay to four hundred dollars a week, an “unheard of” salary for an untested starlet). The two sailed for the United States in 1925, arriving in the pungent heat of midsummer New York. (Garbo’s favorite part of the visit seems to have been the roller coaster at Coney Island.) Then it was on to Hollywood by train.
The studio moguls gave an unknown such as Garbo a very short runway. M-G-M signed up the Swedish girl for two pictures, “Torrent” and “The Temptress,” and, as the film historian Robert Dance writes in his smart new book, “The Savvy Sphinx: How Garbo Conquered Hollywood” (Mississippi), “if those first two films were unsuccessful financially M-G-M would not renew her contract for a second year.” As it happened, both were hits. Motion Picture was among the industry outlets declaring her début “a complete success.” (“She is not so much an actress as she is endowed with individuality and magnetism,” it said.) Garbo became a fan favorite, even though she was almost uniquely averse to the kind of goofy stunts and mildly salacious photo shoots that other stars put up with. When she got to be as famous as Lillian Gish, she told one interviewer early on, “I will no longer . . . shake hands with prize-fighters and egg-and-milk men so they will have pictures to put in the papers.” Instead, she worked with consummate portrait photographers who lit her gloriously. Eventually, her films were earning enough that she was able to negotiate an unusual contract, one that gave her the right to veto scripts, co-stars, and directors. And she shunned interviews so consistently that in the end her privacy became its own form of publicity.
Despite such badassery, she never really adjusted to her new country or her new destiny, at least beyond the movie set. What looked like carefully cultivated hauteur was partly the product of awkwardness, disorientation, and grief. She hardly spoke English when she first arrived, and, within a year, she learned that her beloved sister, an aspiring actress herself, had died back home. Stiller did not make a smooth adjustment to Hollywood and, in a blow to them both, he was not chosen to direct Garbo’s first American picture. Garbo wrote to a friend in Sweden about how miserable she was: “This ugly, ugly America, all machine, it is excruciating.” The only thing that made her happy, she claimed, was sending money to her family. At a young age, Gottlieb writes, she found herself “trapped in a spotlight extreme even by Hollywood standards,” and with no psychological preparation for grappling with the kind of fame—movie stardom—that was new not just to her but to the world.
Athletic and physically restless, she soon took up the long nighttime walks that became a refuge; with her hat pulled low over her head, as it customarily was, she would have been hard to recognize. Stiller, who probably felt that his young protégée no longer needed him, returned to Sweden, where he died in 1928, at the age of forty-five, reportedly clutching a photograph of her. “He never seems to have resented her dazzling ascent to fame,” Gottlieb writes, “only wanting her to be happy and fulfilled.” Back in Sweden to mourn him, Garbo went with his lawyer to the storehouse containing his possessions, where she walked around touching his belongings and murmuring about her memories. Gottlieb says that this episode must surely have been an inspiration for the scene in “Queen Christina” in which Garbo’s character moves around a room at an inn, touching all the inanimate reminders of the lover she will never spend another night with. On sets, she would sometimes talk softly to herself about what her mentor might have told her to do—one director she worked with referred to Stiller as “the green shadow.”
Garbo appears to have been emotionally stunted in certain ways, damaged by the loss of her father, her sister, and Stiller, abashed by the limitations of her English and her education. Though she had a sense of humor, she emerges in Gottlieb’s portrait as prickly, stubborn, and stingy. The sudden onslaught of celebrity made her more so. She never married, had children, or apparently wanted to do either; she had brief romantic relationships, mostly with men (the actor John Gilbert, probably the conductor Leopold Stokowski), and likely with women, too (the leading candidate seems to have been the writer Mercedes De Acosta, the “ubiquitous lesbian rake,” in Gottlieb’s words, who had affairs with Marlene Dietrich and many others). Her longest-lasting relationships were with friends, especially, as Gottlieb makes clear, those who helped her logistically, advised her devotedly, and steadfastly refused to spill the tea about her. In these, she had pretty good, if not unerring, taste. Probably the closest and most enduring friendship was with Salka Viertel, the intellectually vibrant woman at the center of L.A.’s remarkable community of refugee writers, composers, and filmmakers from Germany.
From the start of her Hollywood career in silent pictures, Garbo was often cast as a vamp—the kind of man-eater who shimmied and inveigled and home-wrecked her way through so many nineteen-twenties movies. (See the entire career of Theda Bara.) As Robert Dance notes, “Adultery and divorce were catnip to post World War I audiences.” The parts quickly bored her: “I cannot see any sense in dressing up and doing nothing but tempting men.” Off the job, she eschewed makeup and liked to dress in slacks, men’s oxford shoes, and grubby sweaters. Her closet was full of men’s tailored shirts and ties. She often referred to herself as a “fellow” and sometimes signed her letters “Harry” or “Harry Boy.” The movie role she seems to have liked best was the learned cross-dressing seventeenth-century monarch Christina; it allowed her to stride around in tunics, tight-fitting trousers, and tall boots, to kiss one of her ladies-in-waiting full on the lips, to declare that she intended to “die a bachelor!” (As plenty of gender-studies scholars will tell you, this is one queer movie.) She expressed a longing to play St. Francis of Assisi, complete with a beard, and Oscar Wilde’s vain hero Dorian Gray. In today’s terms, Garbo might have occupied a spot along the nonbinary spectrum. Gottlieb doesn’t press the point, but remarks, “How ironic if ‘the Most Beautiful Woman in the World’ really would rather have been a man.”
Her third American film, “Flesh and the Devil” (1926)—the ultimate nineteen-twenties title—transformed her into an international star. It’s about a love triangle involving two best friends, played by the magnetic John Gilbert and the handsome Swedish actor Lars Hanson, with Garbo at its apex. It, too, is a pretty queer movie, though it seems less in control of its signifiers than, say, “Queen Christina.” As Gottlieb points out, the two male leads are forever clasping each other fervently, bringing their faces close together, as if about to kiss. (It heightens the vibe that, in silent-movie fashion, Hanson appears to be wearing lipstick some of the time, and Gilbert eyeliner.) “Flesh and the Devil” also features some of the most erotic scenes I’ve ever encountered on film. There’s one, in a nighttime garden, in which Garbo rolls a cigarette between her lips, then puts it between Gilbert’s, her eyes never leaving his, as he strikes a match and illuminates their gorgeous, besotted faces. There’s one where she lies back in sensual abandon on a couch, Gilbert’s head lolling against her lap, and he lifts her hand and drags her fingers across his mouth. And then there’s my favorite: she and Gilbert are at a Communion rail in church. By now, Gilbert’s character has killed her first husband in a duel, and she has married the other friend, but they’re still crazy about each other, natch. Gilbert sips from the chalice just before she does, and, when the priest hands it to her, she turns it around to drink greedily from the side her lover’s lips have just touched. Her expression is one of slow-burn ecstasy.
Gilbert and Garbo fell in love while they were making the movie, but their story is a sad one, mainly because Gilbert is a sad figure. He is often offered up as an example of an actor who couldn’t make the transition to sound—his voice was said to have been too reedy or something. That turns out to have been an urban legend: his voice was fine. The trouble was that he was best at playing boyish men undone by love at a time when, as Gottlieb observes, Depression-era Hollywood was more into “gangsters, snappy dialogue, musicals.” Garbo and Gilbert lived out a “Star Is Born” trajectory. When they made “Flesh and the Devil,” he was a big-name actor at the height of his powers, and he helped Garbo by making sure the camera angles were right for her and each take of her was the best it could be. One story is that he planted a stand of trees on his property in the Hollywood Hills to remind her of the woods in Sweden, and he apparently proposed to her repeatedly. (She professed herself puzzled that she kept refusing a more permanent bond, but she did.) By the time she made “Queen Christina,” in 1933, she had top billing, and she insisted that Gilbert, who was then married to someone else, and professionally on the skids, play her romantic interest—rejecting the studio’s choice, a young Laurence Olivier. Gilbert later remembered that she was tactful and considerate with him on the set, though he was drinking heavily, throwing up blood, and nervous about his performance. “It is a rare moment in Garbo’s history,” Gottlieb writes, “when we can fully admire, even love her, as a human being, not only as an artist.” Gilbert died three years later, at the age of thirty-eight. Garbo was characteristically unsentimental. “Gott, I wonder what I ever saw in him,” she remarked while he was still alive. “Oh well, I guess he was pretty.”
Why did Garbo stop acting? It wasn’t as though her star was truly on the wane. It had been years since she’d made her successful transition to talkies, with a dialogue-heavy adaptation of Eugene O’Neill’s “Anna Christie.” (From the moment she uttered her first lines, “Gimme a whiskey—ginger ale on the side—and don’t be stingy, baby,” her accent proved to be a sexy asset.) She’d been nominated for four Best Actress Oscars. In 1939, she’d made “Ninotchka,” the romantic comedy in which she played a Soviet apparatchik on a mission to Paris who falls in love with a playboy count and discovers, as the pitch for it went, “capitalism not so bad after all.” It was a huge hit—more than four hundred thousand people went to see it at Radio City Music Hall during a three-week run, Gottlieb says. Garbo is very funny, deadpanning her way through the first half of it in boxy jackets, rationally assessing Melvyn Douglas’s charms. (“Your general appearance is not distasteful.”) As one biographer, Robert Payne, wrote, the performance worked so brilliantly because it satirized “Garbo herself, or rather her legend: the cold Northerner immune to marriage, solemn and self-absorbed.”
The next and last movie she made, “Two-Faced Woman,” a clumsy attempt to re-create comedy magic with Douglas, was a turkey, but she could surely have survived it. Instead, she considered projects that fell through, turned down others (offered the female lead in Hitchcock’s “The Paradine Case,” Gottlieb writes, she is supposed to have sent her agent a telegram saying “no mamas. no murderers”), and slowly drifted away from the business of moviemaking. She had never liked the limelight and, Gottlieb says, lacked the relentless drive that animated contemporaries such as Marlene Dietrich or Joan Crawford. She doesn’t seem to have been particularly vain about her beauty, but she was practical enough to know its precise value, and to anticipate the cost of its fading. And, though she seems to have enjoyed acting, she was never satisfied with the results. “Oh, if once, if only once I could see a preview and come home feeling satisfied,” she remarked after one film screening. Garbo was no Norma Desmond, viewing her old films over and over to admire her own image. Screening some of them years later, at moma, Barry Paris reported, she got a kick out of imitating herself: “R-r-rodney, when will this painful love of ours ever die?” She once told the actor David Niven that she’d quit because she had “made enough faces.” The analysis was typical of her—unreflective, cryptic, deprecatory.
She was, Tennessee Williams thought, “the saddest of creatures—an artist who abandons her art.” Yet Garbo doesn’t seem to have seen herself that way. Perhaps attuned to the perils of growing old in Hollywood, she moved to New York, to an apartment on the East Side, spent long stretches of time in Europe with friends who were wealthy or witty or both, went to the theatre, collected a bit of art. She did not reinvent herself as a memoirist or a philanthropist (though her estate was valued at roughly fifty million dollars when she died, in 1990) or an ambassador of any sort of good will. People loved the mystery of it all; photographers were always chasing after her. But she wasn’t in hiding; she got out. One wag called her a “hermit about town.”
Did Garbo have a rich inner life to sustain her for all those years? There isn’t much evidence of it. She was not a remarkable or notably confiding letter writer, journal keeper, or conversationalist; she does not seem to have had a surfeit of intellectual curiosity. In the movies, she had always been able to convey a sense of hidden depths, of memories and emotions lighting room after interior room, never quite surfacing to be articulated. Were those feelings complex, interesting? We were persuaded they must be. The relationship to fame that she enacted in the last decades of her life was something similar: it looked profound, perhaps even spiritual—a renunciation of celebrity’s blessings as well as its scourges. But who knows? Maybe she was just tired of making faces. ♦

Grand demonic form (headcannons)
Obey me!
part 1/5
Note 1 - The letters are interesting, the words are complex. How do you gather your strength and just write cool stuff? I was in the thrall of procrastination for two days. I was afraid to write. After all, I could just draw a picture, put it on the Internet and the Internet is like "wow! here are two likes for you," but I decided to go the WRONG way, namely BY WRITING (writing is good, I just don't know how to write cool stuff).
Note 2 – Another bad thing is that I don't know English very well. To be honest, your luck has turned against you. Sorry for the mistakes I made when translating.
So, let's get started.
Characters: Beelzebub, Belphegor
Demons have three forms of existence in this world::
1) Polite form. This form is similar to a human, and although demons are still dangerous in this form, outwardly they inspire some confidence.
2) Demonic form. The form that comes out with strong emotions or when they need to use their inner strengths.
3) Grand demonic form (True form). This form will appear when it becomes unbearable to endure the despair that life brings. A form that will show the true face of all the higher demons. Will show their very essence, and it would be better if no one is around at this time.
In fact, Grand demonic form was not always inherent in demons.
It became possible when one not at all weak demoness was denied love by her lover (human), saying that "sometimes her behavior is unnecessarily cruel" and that "she did not even try to restrain her impulses," which led the demoness to desperate measures. She was filled with anger and created such a powerful spell that brought out will bring out a lot of demons out of control.
In the course of the further event D, the following happens:
1) The spell leads to the appearance of Mother of Beasts (Benez Takajo), who appeared instead of the creator of the spell (Carrieress).
Her height was approximately 25 meters, her appearance is ugly and resembles a stereotypical siren.
2) The appearance of the Mother leads to increased aggression of the lower demons and their subsequent transformation into their demonic forms.
Later, eyewitnesses noted that "at first they heard a whisper in their head, similar to crying, and then they felt a sharp and strong desire to protect someone."
In addition, the witnesses and everyone else in the Devildom heard the voice of the Carrieress in the head, which conveyed the following message: "To know the tenderness and devotion of demons, you need to drown in our growling and in the blood of our enemies. I will be the first in this family."
In addition to the voice of the Carrier, the image of the Mother was transmitted in the minds of eyewitnesses, which no one has forgotten.
3) Mass riots occur, which later also pass into the Human world, in which there are also losses among the human population, in particular, the beloved of the Carrieress dies.
4) By the forces of the Seven Lords, the Mother of Beasts is turned back into a polite form, but the Carrieress creates a portal and escapes.
5) With the help of the huge resources of all three worlds, it became possible to erase the incident from the memory of people and in the media.
The Carrieress of the Mother of  Beasts has not yet been found.
General information about the True form of demons
All specimens are really huge. Their height is 20-25 meters.
The power of demons in this form also increases.
There were no recorded cases of eating anyone or anything (the exception is the Devourer).
The appearance of the specimens refers to their animal symbol (remember the tapestries of the brothers in student council room? That's what I'm talking about).
Also, the appearance of the specimens refers to the character, preferences or even hobbies of their Carriers.
At the first appearance of a specimen, the entire Devildom (and even guests who are currently staying on the territory of the state) hears the voice of the Carrieress. With each new specimen, the Carrieress says a new phrase.
Also, at the first appearance of the specimen, their external image is always transmitted to the head of those present, which is remembered in the smallest detail.
Aggression in this form increases in demons.
Demons acquire abilities that they previously did not have or that had a lesser effect. In addition, effects that occur uncontrollably are noted.
These effects and abilities do not affect other specimens. If specimens have a fight, then it is solved physically.
Demons in this form do not know how to talk, but they can croak, squeak, buzz, etc. (regardless of whether they have a mouth or not). Again, the animal symbol of the Carrier has a huge influence.
Specimens do not have the consciousness that they have in their usual form (the form of the Carrier). Essentially, they are animals.
Interestingly, they can be controlled to some extent (by asking to turn back into a polite form), but they can only be controlled by those whom the specimens consider close to themselves or mates (Beaters).
Specimens, as it turned out, remember the partners of their Carriers and treat them with warmth.
The typical behavior of animals has been noticed when they consider someone to be a member of their pack. The level of aggression is obviously decreasing, but only in relation to the Beater.
DEVOURER OF SUN AND SOWER OF MOON JOIN THE FAMILY.
I HOPE YOUR DAYS AND NIGHTS WILL BE STAINED WITH BLOOD.
Here are the true demonic forms of Beelzebub and Belphegor:
Devourer of Sun (Sunaso Moshtul’) и Sower of Moon (Raneso Kosbo).
They don't look alike, but they're still twins. Their bodies are not fully completed, but this does not cause them problems. On the contrary, it is a symbol that they are an extension of each other. They can exist separately from each other and can cause a lot of destruction to the world, but they will bring much more chaos when they unite into a new specimen and the name of this specimen is Herald of Eclipse (Val'guta Hozla).
Devourer of Sun
Don't be fooled by its appearance, which is dominated by red. Beelzebub was and remains a fly, but it just so happens that the true form of this demon is a fusion of FLESH and SHELL.
You will not doubt this description when you find yourself next to him, because the Devourer's stay is accompanied by the sound of swarming and buzzing of billions of flies. You will finally be convinced when you feel the smell of flesh. Does Beelzebub smell like that, or those he ate? You won't find out, and you don't need it.
You will not forget about his numerous mouths, teeth and eyes that follow everything that is happening around.
The Devourer has two pairs of hands, one of which he likes to pierce his victims or opponents. No one should approach the Sower, otherwise there is a chance of running into an angry Devourer.
It is noticed that the Devourer does not disdain to eat trees, machinery or even buildings. He even enjoys eating objects rather than some kind of flesh.
There have been cases of voluntary and, at times, aggressive (if you try to stop them) desire of demons to be eaten by a Devourer.
The Devourer can eat anything or anyone either with a flower on its head or with a mouth in its side.
Among other things, in the area of the Devourer's stay, a decrease in the saturation and brightness of the surrounding reality was noticed. The Devourer, on the contrary, is clearly and vividly visible.
Beaters of the Devourer: Belphie, MC and Lucifer (to a lesser extent).
The Devourer likes to hum melodiously to his Beaters and bring some kind of food (sometimes not edible, sometimes alive and screaming). Sometimes he can ride them on his shoulders, but it may not be a particularly pleasant activity.
Sower of Moon
Belphegor in his true form is a fusion of SILVER, COSMOS AND BULL FLESH.
When he goes somewhere, his steps are accompanied by the gentle and light sound of many ringing bells. When he freezes in place, a suspension of brilliant cosmic dust appears, which shimmers with many colors, some of which cannot be described by any of the eyewitnesses.
Unlike the Devourer, the Sower does not consist of muscles, but his skin, tender as the skin of young bulls, is covered with bruises, and somewhere is subject to necrosis.
Despite the fact that his appearance is far from beautiful, eyewitnesses say that they feel tenderness for him and want to take care of him (demons can point the Sower to the places where it will be most convenient for him to sleep).
Unlike the calm Devourer, the Sower has a mocking nature. If desired, it can emit a special black-purple suspension of dust, which puts you to sleep, and then leads to the explosion of victims on the spot. It is impossible to say whether the dust itself causes the victims to self-explode or the Sower himself wants it. Either way, the Sower always gets excited, laughing and snorting.
Like the Bearer, the Sower likes to sleep, but as soon as he finds victims, the eyes, which are permanently closed, closely observe what is happening.
Minor distortions of the surrounding reality have been recorded in those places where cosmic dust settles. In addition, if dust settles on a living being, the creature itself can also be distorted. The effect will disappear if you take a bath.
Beaters of the Sower: Beel and MC.
He will show them the most beautiful illusions that he can create from his magic dust. If they want, he can show how his victims explode.

Sai Spicy Alphabet
Tumblr media
So I got bored with my main work so I decided to do this to keep me busy. Despite the fact that Sai isn't my top favourite of Naruto, I still chose him because writing him tends to come easy for whatever reason.
Open to doing this more with other characters, as well as other headcanons.
Warnings: (n)sfw content, minors dni, probably explicit content? depends on what you call explicit, a brief mention of a faint tickle fetish/kink
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Sai Alphabet A-Z
▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄
A = Aftercare (What they’re like after sex) Sai is an absolute sweetheart. After sex, he adores pampering you with kisses while he relaxes beside you, arms snuggled tight around you, as the two of you catch your breath. He typically asks you what you want, seeking guidance on how to do this whole “aftercare” thing. Want warm towels for a quick clean up? He’s on it. Want a relaxing hot bath, maybe with some bubbles? He’s already running the water.
B = Body part (Their favourite body part of theirs and also their partner’s) His: His smile. Not technically a body part, but it’s all he can think about when it comes to himself. More broadly, his face. He finds that creating expressions is fun for him.
Yours: Instantly your smile. He’s big on smiles, obviously. Absolutely loves seeing a smile on your face, it makes his heart all “warm and fuzzy” on the inside, as he says. Other than your smile, he quite likes your breasts.
C = Cum (Anything to do with cum basically) He started out finishing inside you, either raw or condom based on what you want, but one time, he slipped out just as he came, splattering his seed all over your stomach and that awakened the artist in him apparently, because he now loves painting you with his seed anywhere he can. Not a huge load, it’s a moderate amount (yay, easy clean up!), but thick in consistency and bitter to the taste.
D = Dirty Secret (Pretty self explanatory, a dirty secret of theirs) Probably enjoys drawing you in nude or promiscuous poses. Definitely jerks off to them. 100% did this at least once before you two got together. He’ll hide this better than villages will hide their hidden/secret jutsu.
E = Experience (How experienced are they? Do they know what they’re doing?) Absolutely not at all; you are his first. He grew up in Root, had all his emotions suppressed and was basically clinging to his humanity by a thread, I highly doubt he got bitches. Jokes aside, he’s utterly clueless the first time you two get intimate but he immediately tells you this. Typically, he doesn’t know what he’s doing but he picks things up whenever you guide him through something.
F = Favourite Position (This goes without saying.) Typically missionary or cowgirl. He likes the positions where he gets to see your face and expression. Loves seeing how your expression changes with each thrust.
G = Goofy (Are they more serious in the moment, or are they humorous, etc) At the beginning, he’s very serious, he doesn’t really joke around or laugh. Doesn’t quite grasp that it won’t ruin the mood entirely if he or you giggle over something small. He lets loose when he gets more comfortable, but he’s still mostly serious. Like … 80% serious, 20% goofy.
H = Hair (How well groomed are they, does the carpet match the drapes, etc.) It’s well-kept down there. He’s always done it, he doesn’t like it getting wild or any of the sort. Typically usually just a small patch of thin ink black hairs, easy to groom.
I = Intimacy (How are they during the moment, romantic aspect…) So insanely intimate and romantic with you. He praises you, kisses you, will snuggle you if given the chance, loves touching you tenderly. He whispers compliments out, though they’ll be simple and short in the beginning. Absolutely sees sex as a deeply intimate act and cherishes every second with you.
J = Jack Off (Masturbation headcanon) Swinging back to that dirty secret of his, he does jerk off to drawings or photos of you when he’s alone. He doesn’t do it too often when you’re around. Only seems to do it when he’s on a mission or vice versa, or prior to your relationship.
K = Kink (One or more of their kinks) Body worship. He loves admiring you and worshipping your body is one of his favourite ways to do so. He probably has the faintest tickle fetish, stemming from experimentally dragging a paint brush down your body and seeing your body tense softly and hearing you stifle a soft laugh.
L = Location (Favourite places to do the do) Sai feels like a man that values his and your privacy, so preferably the bedroom but he’ll do it anywhere in your home; living room, kitchen, dining room, bathroom, the study/office, he’ll fuck you wherever. He finds the outdoors too open but he’s willing to try public bathrooms, offices, etc.
M = Motivation (What turns them on, gets them going) Close proximity with you and generally being touchy. Sitting on his lap, hugs from behind, playing with your hair or vice versa, etc, etc. It just riles him up, rather quickly too. You can always tell too, because he’ll push his excitement up against you, that too gets him going as well.
N = NO (Something they wouldn’t do, turn offs) Sai won’t do anything that’ll put you in harm. Choking, knives, whatever else could cause you pain, I’m drawing a blank here, etc. He’s even iffy with whips if you present them, and he insists that you immediately tell him when it’s too much.
O = Oral (Preference in giving or receiving, skill, etc) While Sai enjoys receiving, to him, sex is all about you and your pleasure, so he highly prefers giving. He loves being tucked between your thighs, giving kitten licks and lapping up your juices. He can get intense about it but usually, it’s a soft ride to orgasm town.
P = Pace (Are they fast and rough? Slow and sensual? etc.) Sai can easily switch paces as he enjoys any speed. He enjoys the faster paces as it indulges in his urges and really riles him up. He also loves going slow to take you all in and admire you and your beauty. He usually finds a pace in the middle to satisfy both needs.
Q = Quickie (Their opinions on quickies rather than proper sex, how often, etc.) He prefers more drawn out sex in your bed but there’s been times where he couldn’t stand waiting. He doesn’t drag you away for one too often but when he does, he tends to let loose and be highly animalistic.
R = Risk (Are they game to experiment, do they take risks, etc.) So long as it doesn’t include hurting you or being completely out in the open, he’ll experiment with you. He’ll try anything that you suggest or something he read in a book. There’s always an increased heart rate when he takes risks with you, he can never tell if its
S = Stamina (How many rounds can they go for, how long do they last…) Tons of stamina. He’s a ninja with Root training, he’s bound to have a sea’s worth of stamina. He usually can go for 4 or 5 rounds, but can push it if either of you still aren’t satisfied. Also, they can be loooong rounds.
T = Toy (Do they own toys? Do they use them? On a partner or themselves?) He probably doesn’t own any but he’s very open to using them, preferably on you but he doesn’t mind using them on himself. He sees toys as tools to increase your pleasure and your pleasure is his goal, so why not use something that’ll double your pleasure and bring it twice as quick?
U = Unfair (how much they like to tease) He won’t tease the first few times but as he grows more comfortable, he does tease you, taunt you even. He enjoys seeing you get excited and then whine when his touch retracts from your body. He finds whispering his needs in your ears is quite fun, he loves watching your expression and how it changes as he utters what he’ll do to you.
V = Volume (How loud they are, what sounds they make) Not very loud at all. Sai’s quite quiet. It’s mostly just whispers, gasps, moans under his breath, etc. But please, be as loud as you’d like, he loves your voice. It’s beautiful, especially when it’s crying out for him, begging for more pleasure.
W = Wild Card (Get a random headcanon for the character of your choice) Probably has an interest in those sex paintings; you know the ones where couples slather themselves in paint and just fuck on a canvas? Yeah, those ones. He wants to do one of those with you, probably. He’d hang it above your bed, but he’d definitely try to hang it up in the living room.
X = X-Ray (Let’s see what’s going on in those pants, picture or words) Slightly above average. Roughly 6 inches, 7 when erect, curved upwards, and there’s a decent amount of girth to it.
Y = Yearning (How high is their sex drive?) Hmm, it’s definitely… up there. Nothing crazy but it’s also far from low libido.
Z = ZZZ (… how quickly they fall asleep afterwards) It depends on the remaining stamina he has, usually he can stay up for quite a while afterwards.

0.) for bulgaria,,,,,u knew this was coming
ur the king and i'm the court jester doing a little hws bulgaria jig for your entertainment 🫡
1) what would their social media page/activity be like: i hate to say this... but this guy is on facebook!!!! maybe he has a twitter but he tweets like once every 9 months and it's like "Hi. I'm hungry". if this is canonverse where humans know nations exists he gets caught liking romania fancams (he doesn't know likes are public) old man bulgaria u mean the world to me
2) what animal they remind me of: your drawing of him as a black bird is the first thing that comes to mind!! :O
3) my thoughts on their design/aesthetic alone: BABYGIRL his canon uniform is SNAZZY and i just,, like how plain he is ig :,) it suits him and it's a great contrast next to ro's design!! 10/10
4) physical headcanons: i think he's a foodie!! especially when he's sad, he gives off the vibes that he curls up on the sofa with a tub of pistachio ice cream and cries the night away.... idk if this counts as a physical headcanon but i think he's physically older than ppl think!! i don't have a concrete age for him but smth like 26-29! he has a bit of a baby face though bless him (and i'm just VERY soft for romania finding him pretty,,)
5) social headcanons: he def keeps to his social circle i think!! he has a decent number of friends buuut he probably hasn't made new ones in decades :,) i think people often overlook him and don't think much of him because of his more meek disposition around new people and not being very flashy!
6) psychological headcanons: HE'S SUCH AN EMOTIONAL GUY,, which is so sweet considering i think that a lot of these characters have grown tough skin from their old age but bulgaria is so baby... he is resilient ofc!! but he shows a lot of emotions!! he wears his heart on his sleeve you can read him so easily :,) i also live for bulgaria with a,, weird fractured sense of pride? he's insecure about a lot of things, but at the same time he's prideful and a bit egotistical at times in a naive unintentional way. i feel like he also idolizes people and concepts very easily!
7) ship(s) with them that I like or at least consider: he and romania are an on-and-off married couple made for each other!!! but but but you've made me think about things like ro/bul/hungary and ro/bul/greece and those r super fun too! :O and i have this weird rarepair of him and england :,) for personal and deeply emotional reasons i also need him and serbia to fuck
8) made-up connections with other characters that weren't in the canon (friends, enemies, whatever): he likes russia a lot! and if i dare push my yugotalia agenda real quick... he adooores macedonia!! ALSO his relationship with hungary is so underexplored!! they don't have the same feud that she and romania do, but i think (at least historically) they get on each other's nerves and there's been a lot of tension there (hatefuck threesome when?) england likes to vacation at his home and b annoying. he kinda hates turkey but they're also friends (in typical balkan fashion) & he and greece would be good buds!! skiing friends too :D
9) headcanons about their past: fella has been through a shit ton!!!! if u ever ask yourself "why is he like this" the answer is what 500 years of ottoman occupation does to a mf hgjfg... and i like the hc i mentioned in my fic of him trying to get ro to marry him in the late 1800s to early 1900s :) ALSO him and greece's feud during the byzantium era!! he was scary back then!! i also loooove it when he's depicted as having been older during the ottoman years and so feeling some sense of responsibility for the other countries around him :,)
10) content about them I'd like to see more of: aaah him during either of the bulgarian empires!! under ottoman rule!! more balkan war stuff!! historical human aus!! i love him being pathetic but i want to see him angry and happy and powerful and in love and heartbroken and 🥺 also i. can never have enough vampire aus im weak

hi dot, congrats on 1.5k!! :D is it okay if i request an obey me regular matchup? here's some information about me!
i'm okay with any pronouns, i'm a virgo sun, taurus moon and sagittarius rising and my mbti is intp-t. my height is 170 cm (i think it's like.. 5'7?) i dye my hair very often and i tend to stand out from the crowd because of how bright my hair looks (and right now my hair is pastel pink!). i'm a quiet person who finds it hard to express emotions properly, so sometimes my attempts to show affection may look/sound a bit weird 😅 i do have my emotional side though and i get excited easily and if i hear a funny joke, i'm usually that person who laughs the loudest. i've been told by other people that i have a good eye for design (any kind of design, like character designs, interior design, fashion, etc) and people often ask me for advice whenever that topic is mentioned. also most people find me intimidating when they first meet me, probably because of my face expression 😭 i'm often told that most of the time i look like i really want to punch someone, haha. but when people get to know me, they tend to describe me as someone who is very soft and gentle (but who still has a lot of quirks though). i also really like cute things and i have a lot of plushies/stuffed animals! if something is not "cute enough" for me, i have a habit to draw on it, put stickers on it or try to change it in some other way. some of my other interests are drawing, writing, gaming, astrology, making aesthetic edits, psychology and philosophy. my "giving" love languages are giving gifts (especially handmade) and acts of service and i like to receive gifts myself and also words of affirmation.
i hope that's enough and it's not too short/long, please take your time and again, congrats on 1.5k!!
Event Closed
(correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure you did a match up for me that got me all blushie and giggly, so hopefully this is on the same level 😜)
I match you with Diavolo.
I think what put him over the edge was you talking about your rbf, but being an excited person. I present to you, Diavolo, future king of the Demonic realm and those who worship darkness, but also simultaneously a himbo and puppy dog. A match made in heaven.
He's fascinated by humans. So if you find your ways of expressing emotions and affection weird…he just finds it endearing and adorable. He's excited by everything you do, and if your "thing" is unique,  he's all the more excited. (Side note, everytime I write about him I feel like I should be using all exclamation marks)
He loves your laugh. He loves that he can pick it out of a crowd. He's especially happy if he's the reason you're laughing. He loves when you laugh loudly and freely together. He especially loves if other people laugh along, or if Lucifer just gives you a tired sigh at your antics.
He loves if you design literally anything for him. If you and Asmo design him an outfit, or if you redesign a room, or make an  oc for him, he gets childishly excited. You made this. For him. He will now exclusively go by your design expertise. And so shall the rest of his kingdom! How does the position of "city planner" sound? Also, he hopes you have an oc for yourself, because he is going to daydream about all the adventures you'll go on! (Barbatos has caught him doing this when he was supposed to be doing paperwork)
He buys you every plushie he sees. Once he finds out how much you like cute things, that's it, it's over for you. You'll come back from a class at RAD and he'll drop a pile of plushies into your lap, with the proudest expression on his face. (Think a cat dropping a dead thing at your feet) He'll also buy you stickers and such to cute-ify your things, but he prefers how happy you get with plushies.
You and Diavolo were sitting side by side in the salon, while a lust demon hairdresser took a look at both of your hair.
"I'm thinking a fuchsia, or a bright green this time," you said.
"And the same for me please!" Diavolo added excitedly.
"Are you sure this is okay, your majesty?" The hairdresser asked, looking a little frightened.
"Absolutely, it'll be adorable," he said with a boisterous laugh.
You were a little concerned, but Dia had assured you it was totally fine for you both to have matching hair,  so who were you to argue?
The hairdresser pulled out the bleach, and was working on getting someone, anyone, to not be too scared of Dia to do his hair, when…
"Absolutely not."
"They found us," Dia whispered.
"I thought you said it was okay!" You whispered back.
"I lied."
Lucifer and Barbatos stormed over to your station, where Diavolo was lounging "casually".
"Well, hello, gentlemen-"
"Save it, young master. The future king of the Devildom is not dying his hair."
"But me and my little love muffin-"
"My lord, with all due respect, no," Lucifer said, shooing the one brave hairdresser away from his Prince.
He pouted, then leaned in to you.
"Next time, baby."
"You leave me out of your schemes!"
