I don’t get why you can’t handle things privately off anon with these people rather than shaming them and sending hate

key word there is privately - I have messaged creators privately and had conversations about my intentions and about my posts, I’m genuinely not the type of person to indirect all the time

the only creator I haven’t messaged has me blocked, so I can’t - I really don’t like the idea of someone saying I’m trying to stir up drama when the intention with the posts I’ve made (asks aside because I can’t control what people say but when I respond I’m trying to have a wider discussion about issues and taking it away from individuals at this point) has been to try and make this space safer for everyone involved

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again I’m not trying to police what happens on here but I AM trying to say we all need to be held to account. everyone has a place as long as they���re responsible with the space they’re given.

idk where the conversation got derailed but it IS your responsibility if you’re putting content out to do so safely and that’s the only agenda I’m trying to push. tags and warnings are how you do that, and if you add them THANK YOU that’s the only issue I’m trying to raise here, we all had a great opportunity to have an adult conversation and make positive change and somewhere along the way it’s been spun to the point of serious offence to where the actual issue is being overshadowed and undermined

I was never shaming anyone for what they write or how they write, only that I have seen poorly labelled fics more and more on here, and it’s becoming a problem and as someone who was on this site long before I should have been, I know the impact being exposed to this content has and I wanted to try and raise awareness of that fact so that we can all just be more considerate

I would never send anon hate to ANYBODY that’s not my style and it never will be you can literally ask around, I’m not afraid to DM people if I think there’s an issue

If I have something to say I will say it to your face (and if someone has me blocked that’s their own personal choice but they obviously don’t want to hear it and I don’t appreciate being made to look like a mean girl for not being direct when I’m not given the opportunity TO be)

but I did say in my original post, I knew it was going to get spun into something and I tried to make my point clear. I’m not gonna be silenced on it but I’m done with this whole thing now I’ve said what I wanted to say

Watching my first watch through of SPN ever. I’m on season 9 and as someone who has been on tumblr since ancient times but didn’t actually get in to it, I think everyone DOWNPLAYED how crazy Destiel is. How did veterans survive that….. It’s just. What. What am I watching. Why does Deans voice get SOFT when he talks to Cas particularly??? Why did Dean ditch Sam to watch Cas at the supermarket????
