Ulysses obsession with the Courier is a special type of sad to me cause the Courier’s part was so important but so unwitting. They had no idea what was in the package they delivered and neither did he. Neither had an idea of what it could’ve done and the Courier was only caring out their job (mind you the Courier could be killed via notes in the express contract if they don’t). To them it was just another regular delivery to the divide and one that they likely thought would help, just like all the ones before.

It’s so tragic for Ulysses to hold so much ire to the Courier when it really was the case of it could’ve been anyone. Anyone could have delivered that package but they did and so he focused the blame on them and it destroys what he is trying to instill in the courier on a fundamental level.

#like yeah the courier delivered the package but in the end that’s a job #any random courier could’ve delivered it especially since we know in the past the factions were farther apart and this travel was a smidge #safer but courier six got it and this Ulysses blamed them #like I don’t care much for Ulysses because I think lonesome road embodies don’t shoot the messenger at it core #and what people focus on doesn’t focus on the fact that in the bigger picture #everything went wrong because two factions were at war and at some point the codes would have been delivered #and the divide destroyed cause with how close it is to NCR territory it would of been found #like there is an inevitable and too many people treat Ulysses as if he knows more or is more aware of the idiosyncrasies of conflict #when he’s like fundamentally flawed just at the standard of being a legion apologist STILL and just how focused he is on one persons #involvement cause yeah choices matter even the small one but I think Veronica’s quest says it best with a line from the courier #you can’t control what they do #like the courier couldn’t and can’t control what they deliver and yet it’s got them in hot water multiple times #like do you think they enjoy being shot or knowing they are indirectly responsible for activating the annihilation of a community #to me it’s hypocrisy to be willing to end the world or one world to prove a point and whatever argument made that only military factions #suffer forget there are innocent civilians suffering that had no part and Ulysses is no better than the Courier #I don’t like devils advocate and a lot of the dlc just feels like that but idk I know people love it but the depth is just not there for mr #ulysses fnv #fallout #fallout new vegas #courier six #the courier #lonesome road #the courier has very little personality outside what we give them but some lines and delivery paint a picture #like uhhhh undertale deltarune rules ig

Remembering how the comics even ruined the Earth King's character... the feats in that were staggering

#absolutely no one was safe in hindsight #like...how do you even have smellerbee and longshot being alive?#we got some good things out of it specifically mai's aunt and a little more time with her mom #I think she was okay #but it was absolutely not crafted by people who sat down and looked back over the series and said ''okay so what happened offscreen HERE?''#but seriously they had kuei just go back to his throne like no that man wasn't going back for AGES #also you really missed out on a whole Earth Kingdom Civil War plotline where no one knows where this nerd vanished to #and everyone's vying for succession all five generals are trying to lay claim to the throne #meanwhile the king's over in some fishing village learning what a ''boat'' is #he finally resurfaces after ten years like ''I finally know what everything is!'' and Haru of all people has to leave the throne room #because Aang made up some technicality about how he knew Haru's great-great-grandfather and he was actually the former King's banished bro #so now Haru has TOTAL legitimacy and Aang just pulled his Great Divide maneuver again #Kuei has everything straightened out in a month because of his newfound wisdom #has a daughter and we all know how she turns out #seriously though they just...barely tried

My favorite interaction with an Eve stan has to be with this one guy I met back when I was in tdt who always said that the only canon MVs were the ones that had Hitotsume in them and if he wasn’t there then it didn’t count as canon which annoyed me so I told them that if we followed that logic then Hakugin is canon bc Hitotsume appears in it and that made them so mad they never spoke to me again

Now that fionna and cake season has wrapped up i just have one thing to say.

The ONLY reason that bubblegum and the star were not in love is because marcy did not become a musician in that universe, so bonnie never heard her preform.

a lil rant

general TW before reading, it's a bit of a sob story but I need to get it out

It's very hurtful to see SO many anti-endos say "I dislike endos because they are always xyz" and generalizing this entire group saying we take away resources for traumatized systems, invade their safe spaces, and tell them hurtful things (like threatening or insulting)

because a lot of us don't do any of those things, but it seems like quite a few anti-endos feel the need to call out endos on these things they assumed they have done simply because they are an endo system

This generalizing needs to stop, especially for systems like mine who are mixed origins. No, we do need our trauma resources, we are traumatized and we aren't taking up your resources, we are using the resources that we need too

We have OSDD-1b and understand the crippling difficultly that comes with our disorder and how important having resources, but telling people that are trying to find ways to cope with their situations that they are not valid and not worthy of trying to help themselves is not helpful for anyone

Having DID/OSDD exclusive spaces is awesome and can be super helpful for many different reasons like sharing struggles and resources, but we don't see how anti-endo spaces are at all helpful

Like we said before, we have OSDD-1b, however I myself am an endogenic headmate, I was NOT formed from the systems trauma and was instead formed by an alter within our system with a role to help us better function

Excluding our system, other mixed origins system, and pro-endo traumagenic systems from these DID/OSDD spaces is restricting their access to these resources that they need too!

Not understanding endos or questioning endos is a normal thought process for one who isn't endogenic or educated on endogenic systems, and in fact it's great to do your own research and come to your own conclusion rather than conform to what everyone around you thinks

However to conclude within your head that endos are all terrible people who "steal" resources and invade safe spaces is jumping to a very big conclusion

Again, it's ok to be endo neutral or to question/not understand, but to attack, demonize, slander, and harass endo systems, endo safe spaces, and endo supporters isn't a positive thing

Nobody is perfect, not everyone agrees with everyone, but by no means is bullying acceptable
