one of my favorite interactions was with this little girl and her friend who's a little older than her, the girl in question is the type of rich kid that doesn't realize casually mentioning she's summering in the mediterranean is insane, but she's super sweet. the friend had just hit puberty and was complaining about how they couldn't find anything to help with their acne, and the girl immediately whips out her phone and was like 'oh my God, I'll order you some of my skincare stuff! it's like the best you can possibly get-' and I didn't wanna be like 'maybe you should ask your mom first' right off the bat so I said 'how about you just tell us what brand you use, that way your friend can go to the store and pick out what works for their skin best', and this girl was like. oh it's like super expensive and it's only available in France so we have to order it online!! don't worry I'm gonna read the ingridients to them first tho!!!' and I was like. you. sweetie. you get specialized skincare imported from France? and she was like yeah!! it's the best stuff you can get, that's why my skin is so nice! :) and her friend looked at her and went "also probably because you're 11"

i’m soooo sick of how buying concert tickets works these days. because it doesn’t work. the system isn’t broken—it was designed to swirlie people out of their money by pitting them against bots and adding exorbitant fees. ticketmaster *could* make the system better, but they won’t. because making it better wouldn’t benefit them. it’s just a prime example of how capitalism ruins shit. concerts are supposed to be places people go to celebrate and enjoy the music of artists they care about or, hell, even artists they’ve heard about in passing and are interested in hearing. but they don’t build community anymore. it’s just a competition for who can actually get tickets, and how “good” the tickets are, and what “special things” happen at their show. the whole process is miserable. i don’t even want to try to get tickets bc the process makes me feel like shit. even if i had the money, that wouldn’t guarantee me a ticket in any way because of the competitiveness of the system!! i’m sick of it!!! i don’t even want to think about trying to go to concerts!!

when i don't like an artist, know what I do? i ignore them. i don't interact with their work or their fandom. if an artist bothers you so much that you feel you need to bitch and moan every 5 seconds, there is this G R E A T block/mute feature on most social media apps. STILL bothered? maybe you need to look inward.

The author of RW&RB has also taken to posting playlists for her characters that are exclusively Taylor Swift songs 🙄 Whether she's pretending to like her now or she truly did a 180, I'm not sure. However, the original things she said were so so bad. Like it wasn't a simple "ew Taylor Swift". She really was out there celebrating bad things happening to her.

I typically find myself distrustful of people who gleefully took part in the 2016/17 shenanigans and are now seemingly pro-Taylor when it's convenient.

i’m so sorry for all my beautiful mutuals and people who have been dedicated fans for years who haven’t managed to get the tickets. this situation is really fucked up, especially what ticketmaster does and i’m sorry you all have to go through this. i really hope general sale will happen eventually and those of you who didn't get a ticket will get one. this should be a very exciting time for both us and taylor and instead of this the fans who were trying to get tickets are stressed, the rest of the fandom is upset and taylor is blamed for everything. it’s not how it all should be and i truly hope ticketmaster will work something out with everything they have done.
