𝗚𝗔𝗠𝗘 𝗡𝗔𝗠𝗘: KISS & TELL

Despite the towering height difference between the two of them, Chishiya has never felt small with Sett. Not in the sense that he's easy to miss - far from it. BUT HE FEELS SMALL NOW. Sett's hands dwarf him, but for all the strength the hands hold and everything they've seen, what sticks out to Chishiya when Sett grasps his chin is how warm the touch is against his cool skin, how delicate and tender the touch is - as if anything beyond the lightest pressure might make him break. ( Maybe it would with how foreign such contact is. ) Chishiya could easily slip away if he wanted to. Pull away with a lift of his chin and a duck under Sett's arms and disappear into the city. HE COULD RUN. What's most terrifying is he doesn't want to. He stays exactly where he is, calculated eyes lifted to peer up at Sett even as the man has to hunch over just to be close to his level. Dares him to do something with arrogance that could rival the heavens.

THIS ISN'T CHISHIYA'S GAME. This is something he's never experienced; something where logic doesn't play a large role and all of Chishiya's strengths have no grounds to excel. He doesn't know what to expect, only knows something in the air has shifted into the unfamiliar unknown for him. The movies always make it seem as if there's some instant understanding of what should happen but Chishiya's only MORE AWARE of his state ; like an animal plucked from its natural habitat in the harsh realities of death games and placed into the unknown biome of emotions. He's unequipped for this even if no one might suspect it with his feline like eyes and mysterious aura that draw attention to him. This makes him experience something the games never could. Death isn't scary when you don't value your own life. But vulnerability is terrifying for someone with a tight grasp on control.

Sett kisses him and the touch on his jaw suddenly feels more like a lifeline than a fracture point. IT'S LIKE THE OCEAN CRASHING AGAINST THE ROCKS AT THE BASE OF A CLIFF. Overwhelming and all-encompassing, as enticing as it is threatening to break him when his ever-sharp mind fails to come up with anything and falls unusually quiet in the moment. It almost feels like Sett wants to devour him whole. Chishiya can't help the quiet noise that claws up from his throat, something unexpected that surprises himself when it floats into the air.

Chishiya lets Sett kiss him, tries to pay attention to what he's doing in an attempt to respond. There's a flush to fair cheeks, an unfamiliar jab of embarrassment as his hands hover uncertainly before loosely clutching onto the front of Sett's shirt. He tries to mimic, tries to keep up with Sett even as he feels SWEPT AWAY BY THE INTENSITY. Had it been anyone else, Chishiya thinks he'd loathe it. But it isn't anyone else. It's Sett and there's an understand that it makes the difference. A difference that makes him accept this, a difference that has him attempting to try to keep up with Sett even when the difference in experience is made obvious once the surprise fades. He still presses back against Sett's lips to kiss in turn, still tries to meet him while the ocean tugs him under the waves. His lungs ache and he taps at Sett's arm to get his attention he turns just enough to break the kiss, uncharacteristically disheveled and panting for air in the wake of the moment.

There's a new, dazed look to Chishiya's eternally sharp eyes as his brain struggles to process in a way it never has before. " . . . That was certainly one way to have my first kiss. " The words fall from his lips in his dazed state before he can catch them, and the faint dusting of pink on his ears and cheeks only deepens, flushing down the column of his neck. Should he have told Sett first? Maybe, but he doesn't particularly regret not telling either. Drowning had felt as nice as breathing, offered a static-like sensation to his head that he'd never experienced before.

But now Sett knows. There's a mix of both embarrassment and uncertainty at how the other man will react - emotions that Chishiya's not particularly familiar with. Nor can he say he's fond of it with how it make his stomach twist uncomfortably like something struggling to escape its prison. He knows the surprise the admission is likely to bring. He's known it all his life ; feline features and platinum hair often draw eyes and plenty even here in this world of despair have made eyes to him that he's always dismissed. He's never cared before - but now he almost squirms when he glances towards Sett's face and then to the side. But he does lift his head again, BRUSHES THEIR LIPS TOGETHER AGAIN even with the hand still grasping his chin. Half apology for not keeping up in his surprise, half tempting.
