When he finds out how badass you actually are, he's definitely shocked for the most part, but he's also amazed at the same time, being almost speechless by it.

At first, Peter thought you needed just a bit more confidence and tried to help you with that, being with you very step of the way and always comforted you. But when he saw just how badass you are, he's surprised but very proud of you. He (out of exictement) asks why didn't you tell him you could do that, so amazed by you and your skill.

Hobie would encourage you to step outside of your comfort zone or to open up more. But he'll be there for you if you need back up, in case anyone's being rude to you. Miguel was protective of you at first, being by your side whenever he can and checking up on you. On seeing your skills and how badass you are, he's more impressed than anything. He praises you on your skill, now knowing that you're capable of handling your own battles.

He was absolutely amazed at how badass you are, asking why you kept this "secret" from him, and he even brags about you, wanting you to show everyone else your skills (only for you to probably get shy again).

Noir was protective of you, and noticing how shy and kind you were, he was willing to protect those sides of you (or whatever he calls it-). Noir thought you weren't capable of fighting, but once he was proven wrong, he's surprised, but also praised you. Now he knows that the two of you can fight together, but he makes sure to always have your back for your (extra) protection.

He never imagined himself settling down and raising kids, and he’s always had a problem with communication so he has a Hard time expressing this to you. Until it happens by accident. He’s…not ready. He’s scared. He doesn’t know what to do or say but it’s all happening, and it’s happening so fast. He tries to be gentler with you, try to not take his frustration over the situation out on you…but he is STRESSED. Still. Childe: He’s very surprised, to say the least. One of those guys who follows up the question of: “Do you want to have a family?” with “are you already pregnant?” Turns out you were, and it was time for Childe to take some responsibility. He’s a free spirit though, that’s for sure, and he’s not ready to be tied down with parental responsibilities yet. But it’s happening, and he needs to learn how to deal with it. Quickly. At first you were almost afraid he was going to leave you over the accidental, sudden pregnancy, but he actually sticks around, he’s just…not sure how to behave himself around you now. He liked you because you were strong. But now you’re fragile, and he’s not sure how to treat fragile people. Still, to your surprise he’s doing his best to be a proper boyfriend, even though he makes a Lot of mistakes. He’ll warm up to the idea of having a family with you, you just need to give him time. And he does get a sort of pride when he watches you waddle around pregnant with his baby.

Clementine had just had a game last night against the Flyers, the Devils losing in overtime. She got on a separate flight then her team this morning having got permission to leave and meet the team tomorrow in Edmonton.

She walked through the airport holding her duffle bag in her hand, she walked out into the cold Chicago air and smiled when she saw Janelle Foligno in the car waiting for Clementine.

Clementine quickly hurried to the passenger side getting into the warm car, she smiled leaning over the console hugging Janelle, “Thank you for doing this!”

“Of course!” Janelle fondly smiled at her.

Clementine turned in her seat hearing the kids in the back, “Hi Kiddos!”

“Clemy!” The three kids all cheered at the same time having seen her a lot more since Connor had signed with the blackhawks.

“Are you guys excited!” Clementine smiled at the three kids while Janelle started driving through the airport chaos.

“Yeah!!” Hudson cheered the youngest son of Nick and Janelle.

“Me too!” Landon their middle child smiled excitedly.

“Yeah.” Miliana quickly nodded with a big smile always enjoying skating with her dad.

Clementine smiled, and for the remainder of the drive she listened to the three kids tell her everything that’s happen since she has seen them last.

Clementine brushed her long blonde hair out of its messy bun from the flight, she was wearing a pair of jeans and black sweater with a black trench coat, she played with her silver sea star necklace seeing the Blackhawks Arena as they drove into the parking garage.

“Ready?” Janelle asked the four with a big smile exicted for the surprise, she got four nods in return.

Clementine opened the back door helping Landon out as the other two got out on the other side, Landon shyly grabbed Clementine’s hand holding, She looked down with a smile letting him hold her hand.

They walked into the Arena towards the rink where they saw lots of different family and friends getting together for the Chicago Blackhawks family skate.

Clementine saw Connor’s back as he was talking to Nick she gently let go of Landon’s hand and snuck up behind her baby brother, she stood up on her toes wrapping her arms over his shoulders resting her chin on his shoulder.

Connor tensed just slightly before smelling the perfume his sister has always worn and relaxed smiling as he spun around seeing his big sister here, he pulled her into a hug burying his head in her neck, “Faye?” Connor was confused as he thought none of his family could make the family skate.

“Hi connie.” Clementine pressed a kiss to the side of his head, holding her baby brother tightly.

“What are you doing? i thought you couldn’t come?” Connor smiled at his big sister when they pulled away from the hug.

“I couldn’t but i got coach to agree to let me come.” Clementine smiled shrugging knowing she did everything to make sure Connor wouldn’t be alone his first family skate.

“Thank you.” Connor squeezed her hand, before he held her hand and started bringing her to all his teammates who he has already introduced her too but she let him drag her around always confused how he’s always so proud of her.

Connor dragged her to the booth that had skates for the family and friends to use and grabbed a pair for Clementine to wear, they headed to a bench around the rink sitting down putting their skates on.

Clementine was done first and watched her baby brother fondly feeling like it was yesterday their parents handed Connor to her and helped her hold him, Clementine ran a hand through his hair that was messy after he slipped his beanie off, “I’ve missed you.”

Connor looked up from finishing her skates relishing in the comfort from his sister and felt alot of the anxiety and worries go away with her near, “I missed you too Faye.” Connor smiled softly truthfully hating being away in Chicago and none of his family near by, he’s love playing hockey but some days hockey isn’t always enough.

Clementine slipped his black beanie on before standing up putting a hand down to her brother who quickly took it, “Come on it’s been awhile since we’ve skated for fun together.” Connor smiled.

Clementine threw an arm over his shoulder as they got onto the ice and started skating around, “Last time i was on this ice i scored a goal.” Clementine smirked remembering the winning goal she got against the Blackhawks last season.

Connor chuckled at his sister, “We play each other soon.” Connor was so excited to be on the same ice as his sister during a game never having done that before, truthfully he would always rather be on her team and hopefully one day he will be.

“I know I’m very excited.” Clementine grinned shaking his shoulder slightly making Connor laugh, “Mom, Dad and Mads are coming the 22nd right?” Clementine double checked with Connie, knowing they decided to do Christmas at Connor’s apartment this year as it’s easier to meet in Chicago this year than Vancouver.

“Mhm.” Connor nodded still skating together, “Your coming the 23rd right?”

“Yeah i’m taking a late flight after my game.” Clementine nodded having planned to leave right after her game so she had the most time with her family.

Connor nodded happily at the thought of just a few days with his family.

Landon had skated over to them and asked to play with Connor, Connor looked at Clementine not wanting to leave her but she just smiled and nodded.

Clementine watched as Connor skated after Landon just like she use to when he was a super young, she felt a bump to her leg and looked down seeing Hudson smiling up at her, she smiled back at him.

She saw Janelle, Nick and Miliana right behind him, “I think they are entertaining each other.” Clementine smiled watching Connor and Landon chase each other on the ice.

“He’s gonna sleep good tonight.” Nick fondly laughed, knowing how much his three kids love Connor and Clementine.

Clementine stayed skating with them for a good while before Connor and Landon joined them finally worn out, “Had fun?” Nick asked with an amused look.

“Did i have that much energy?” Connor looked at Clementine for an answer.

“Connor, you still do.” Clementine deadpan with a smile, Connor just shrugged knowing she wasn’t wrong.

A media person was skating around taking pictures and asked for a picture of Clementine and Connor, Clementine threw her arm around Connors shoulder pulling him to her as they smiled their identical smiles at the camera, the media perosn skated off saying a thank you.

Connor looked at Clementine with puppy eyes, Clementine fondly rolled her eyes knowing what he wants but nodded agreeing, Connor cheered always loving racing Clementine on the ice.

“Around the net and back?” Connor proposed, Clementine nodded, “3,2,1 Go.” The two started skating really fast to the other side of the rink, skating around all the people on the ice. Connor has always had to work really hard to be a fast skater and Clementine has always just had naturally ability of being very fast on the ice, she quickly got around the net first and skated back to other side of the rink easily beating Connor, she skidded to a stop turning around watching Connor reach the net.

“I’ll beat you one day.” Connor pouted slighty have never been able to beat his sister on the ice.

“Oh i have no doubts little brother.” Clementine fondly smiled throwing her arm over his shoulder again.

They skated around for a another hour before the Family skate was finally over and it was about 3:00 PM so Clementine and Connor had a good few hours to spend together before they had to go to sleep and Clementine was leaving early in the morning.

Clementine sat on the bench taking off her skates, Connor sat next to her taking hsi off as well, “Faye..”

Clementine looked at Connor who was looking at her with puppy eyes, “What do you want?” Clementine raised an eyebrow knowing Connor always uses his puppy dog eyes.

“Will you make mac and cheese?” Connor hopefully grinned, knowing Clementine doesn’t love cooking but she is really good at it.

“Do you have all the ingredients?” Clementine questioned sliding her black boots back on.

Connor rapidly nodded. Clementine fondly rolled her eyes, “Alright fine.” Connor smiled cheering looking very happy.

Clementine stood up with Connor walking out to the parking garage with the Foligno’s to get her bag from the car.

Clementine grabbed her bag from the car and turned around as the three kids all hugged her at the same time, “I’ll miss you guys.” Clementine smiled hugging all three of them at the same.

“We’ll miss you too Clemy!” Miliana sadly smiled, sad they can’t spend more time with her.

“I’ll see you guys soon don’t worry.” Clementine smiled at the three as she bent down to their height, she booped all their noses before getting up accepting the hug from Nick.

“Thank you for watching him.” Clementine muttered to Nick, having actually met Nick and his wife during her rookie year and had asked if they could keep an eye on her brother.

“Of course.” Nick fondly smiled knowing how much Clementine cares for her siblings and anyone can tell how much Connor looks up to his big sister and Nick had no doubt that sooner or later the two would be playing together on one team.

“Thank you.” Clementine whispered to Janelle, having been thankful how Janelle helped make this trip really easy for Clementine.

“Of course.” Janelle smiled before letting her go from the hug.

Clementine and Connor waved to the family before walking to Connor’s car, Clementine got into the passenger seat and Connor in the driver seat and Connor started driving the quick drive to his apartment.

Connor pulled into the parking garage of his apartment turning the car off, They walked into the apartment and headed into the elevator to Connor’s floor. Connor unlocked the door and let Clementine and him in.

“If you wanna take a shower first and then we can make dinner?” Connor suggested knowing Clementine always like showering after being on a airplane and she just loves taking warm showers.

Clementine nodded and headed to the guest room that she has stayed in many times already, She slipped off her clothes getting into the steaming hot shower feeling her body relax from the warmth.

Clementine finished her showered changing into a pair of devils sweatshirt and vancouver hoodie, she slipped on a pair of fuzzy socks and brushed out her long soaking wet hair before grabbing her phone and heading out of the room seeing Connor on his phone in comfy clothes as well.

Clementine plopped onto the couch next to Connor taking the blanket on the back of the couch she picked out for his apartment and layed it over her beginning to scroll on her phone for awhile.

Connor and Clementine were so focused on their phones for at least an hour until Connor’s stomach loudly rumbled, Clementine laughed, “Alright let’s get you some food.” She pulled him off the couch and heading to the kitchen.

Clementine was pleasantly surprised there was actually a few food ingredients in his fridge and started to pull out everything for mac and cheese, Connor pulled out a french bread loaf and started pulling things out for garlic bread.

Clementine and Connor both did their part of the meal and within thirty minutes they had both finished. They plated up their food and sat back down on the couch together turning the TV onto a hockey game that was playing right now.

They finished eating and Connor brought the plates into the kitchen and came back tot he living room and sat on the couch laying his head onto her lap, Clementine looked down smiling at her brother and started playing with his hair.

They watched the entire hockey game and Clementine could feel Connor fast asleep in her lap, she grabbed the other blanket covering him and set her alarm before she rested her head on the couch and slowly began to fall asleep as well.

December 21, 2023

Clementine woke up to the sound of her alarm, she rubbed her eyes shutting the alarm off seeing Connor slowly waking up as well.

Clementine yawned stretching her arms above her head before reluctantly getting off the couch, she headed to the guest room and did all of her toiletries and everything before putting all her stuff back in her duffle bag and closing it up, she grabbed her bag heading out of the room setting it by the front door.

Connor walked out of his room looking more awake, “Ready to go?” Connor asked Clementine while slipping on his slides.

Clementine nodded and picked her bag back up heading out of his apartment and down to the parking garage, they both got in the car and started the drive to airport.

After a little while they got to the crazy busy Chicago airport, getting to the terminal she’s needs to go to. Connor pulled into the parking spot by the terminal.

Clementine sadly smiled and leaned over the console pulling Connor into a tight hug, “I’ll see you in a few days, have a good game tonight, I love you.” Clementine pressed a soft kiss to the side of his head.

Connor held onto his sister tightly always hating saying bye to her, “Have a good game too, I love you too Faye.” He reluctantly pulled away sending her a sad smile, one she easily returned.

Clementine hopped out of the car with her bag and started heading to the door, she turned around sending one last wave to her brother before heading into the airport.

I'm always brain rotting about really silly things like food, fashion, and transportation in the devildom compared to the human world. world building i suppose?

but how do you think the spice levels compare? like there's different types of spicy, and the devildom for sure has spicier stuff. But i wonder how spicy it is. Like Mammon's hell sauce noodles...

I'm thinking about this because my mom cooked dinner, and she always makes separate food for me and my little brothers if she's using chiles (in this case it was just meat cooked without the spicy sauce). and i tried some because I'm trying to finally build my tolerance and I was dying at the first bite 😭 tastes so good though. she gave me a surprised look when i added more spicy food to my plate

i already know mammon would make me try spicy things for shits and giggles, or new foods because I'm a picky eater. Also there's a saying/joke in Spanish where people will ask if you were angry while making something if it's too spicy lmao.

I haven't been too active because I've been busy working early shifts and training in framing at my old store (forgot to set my alarms the last two days), but tomorrow I'm off, and going to ihop and bookstores with my friend !! she's trying to finish her current read so we can buddy read King of Wrath together (king of sloth comes out soon). I'M SO EXICTED

Ohhh yessss I love worldbuilding! And there's so much they leave out, there's plenty of stuff we can fill in, which is always fun.

Okay so spice levels, apparently it really depends on the individual as to how spicy something truly is. This is because humans at least have the ability to make themselves less sensitive to capsaicinoids, which is what they call plants with capsaicin in them. That's the spicy, I think they evolved with it to prevent predators from eating them, but humans were like nope we'll just get used to it!

Anyway, I think this is relevant because it's going to depend on whether or not demons also have that ability or if it's different for them biologically. Like okay, if humans eat enough capsaicin, over time they become partly immune to it, which is why some people can eat really spicy food and other people can't. I think some of that might also just be genetics... like some people might be born more resilient to it to begin with. But don't quote me on that lol.

So demons either have a natural immunity (not completely though because they clearly can still taste the spice, it's just much less) or they also have the ability to desensitize themselves to it.

I like to think it's a bit of both just like it is in humans, but demons have a higher tolerance level to start with. And they all have it. Because they're demons and that just feels right, you know?

But I also think it'd be interesting to consider that the tongues of demons are made of different stuff than the tongues of humans. Or that there are some demons who have tongues that are more scaly or something. Just because that'd be fun lol.

Anyway, I think the spice levels in the Devildom are probably pretty high. I like to think that Mammon has an especially high tolerance due to the fact that those spicy hell sauce noodles are his favorite. You know he eats them all the time and if they can also build tolerance, he must be super used to it by now.

I definitely think he'd make you eat spicy food lol. That's just how spicy food lover are, too. I'm also extremely sensitive to spicy foods. I've been trying to build up my tolerance, too, so I've been adding some hot sauce to things, but it's nothing compared to my brother in law. His spice tolerance is insane. And he's always like, here try this it's not spicy. I have learned not to believe it.

I love the idea that being angry while cooking makes food spicy.... I feel like there could legit be a spell for that in the Devildom, too.

As you know Wooga squad always date between their mutual friends. We have Taennie and now Park seo Joon and Jennie's youtuber friend. So hee is also very close with wooga squad and now JK is also close with them. During premieres, there was no need for JK's attendance there, still he went. And you can see he being suddenly so exicted when sohee's name was announced by MC. He literally whipped his head while he was walking away from venue. So maybe he met her through them and is dating her now ?

And if you look without any bias Sohee is literally his female version and ticks all of his ideal type column including being elder than him to feed his ever famous noona kink. Forgotten Birthday?

I was so exicted for today, because it was my birthday today! I was getting all dolled up and everything, because i know that Scara would always take me on a birthday date, we would go and listen to our favorite songs together, eat our favorite foods, and he would surprise me with a gift! As i went to our kitchen, he was just.. Reading his book. I was confused. Then I greeted him like usual.

"Darling! Good Morning!"

He looked at me, then smiled, kissing my cheek.

"Good morning, honey. How was your sleep?"

I was getting really confused. Did he forget my birthday? No, it can't be! I mean, we always go on birthday dates! Then i kept smiling.

"Darling.. Do you know what day it is?"

Scaramouche looked at me, confused. I was getting sadder and sadder each moment, he couldn't possibly forget my birthday! I mean i dressed up and everything! He can't forget my birthday.. Right..?

"You mean a saturday? I mean, pretty sure it's a saturday."

I was heartbroken, but smiled to hide it.

Translator’s note: While the plot of these short scenarios is nothing special (there is only so much you can do with 6-7 minutes), I did find them to be very cute! It’s always nice to see them spend time with the MC/their S/O and just do mundane couple things. It’s a shame that they don’t use these kind of scenarios to fill in the scenario parts of the main games, because I’d find that a lot more interesting than the usual scenario chapters which usually just involve them sucking the MC’s blood in some random place. ^^;;

REIJI’S SIDE: YUKATA AND GETA (1)

The two of you are walking along the street at night.

“Please watch your step. You are wearing a yukata, so attempting to walk quickly like usual might result in you tripping. You are free to get excited, but you are not used to wearing wooden sandals, so please be more cautious as you walk. I will not forgive you if you were to fall and get dirt on your yukata.”

You ask Reiji why he got you a yukata.

“...Why I prepared a yukata for you to wear? Why do you want to know?”

You suddenly come to a halt.

“Hm? What’s the matter?”

You point towards the fireflies in the distance. 

“Ahー Fireflies...I can only assume they are coming from the nearby river. Would you like to go take a closer look, perhaps?”

The two of you move closer to the river. 

“There are always a lot of fireflies around the riverbank at this time of year.”

You get very exicted about the fireflies. 

“Yes, I understand that they look beautiful, so please calm down a little. I understand that this might be a rare sight for you, but please refrain from getting too overly excited and tripping as a resuーー”

You nearly trip. 

*Thud* 

Reiji: Ahーー!

Reiji catches you just in time. 

*Rustle* 

“I cannot believe you nearly tripped the very second I warn you...You truly are a handful. Have I not told you a million times by now? Watch your step.”

You nod.

“I am worried because often times you will say ‘I understand’ without actually doing so. Come on...Give me your hand.”

He grabs hold of your hand as the two of you continue walking.

“Oh dear. I can hear the festival music all the way over here.”

You seem surprised, not knowing about the festival.

“Yes. Every year a festival is being held in this area around this time of year. It was my intention to take you there.”

You ask Reiji if he comes here often.

“You truly believe that I would go to a festival in the human world every year? It just so happened that I had a suiting yukata laying around, so the idea popped up in my mind. Please do not assume that I did it especially for you.”

You ask if he bought the yukata for this occasion. 

“Yes, exactly. Besides, you were the one who wanted that yukata, remember? Good grief...Listen carefully. I purchased it for you because I could tell from the look in your eyes just how badly you wanted it. 

Furthermore, it would have been a waste of money to not put it to good use, wouldn’t it?”

You chuckle.

“What are you laughing about?”

You shake your head.

“I refuse to believe it is ‘nothing’.”

You try and change the subject.

“Do not try and change the subject now. Besides, I would not recommend trying to get closer to the river while wearing those sandals.”

You promise to be careful.

“Haah...I understand. Please be utmost cautious, okay? Do not let go of my hand either.”

The two of you approach the river.

“The ground around the riverbank is extremely slippery, so walk carefully. Especially around that areーー ...Watch out!”

*Rustle*

*Splash*

“You...I cannot believe you’d slip the very second I speak the word ‘carefully’...What is the meaning behind this!? This is the second time this evening I’ve had to prevent you from falling! 

...Even after I warned you so thoroughly. Ahー The hem of your yukata got dirty, did it not? You are always so careless. ...Are you unharmed, at least?”

You nod.

“I see. ...Good to hear you are not.”

You look at your foot.

“Is something the matter? ...Your sandal? It probably flew off as you slipped and ended up getting flushed down the river. ...Even with the dim light of the fireflies, it will be difficult to search for it in the dark. It cannot be helped. I believe we must give up on it.”

You seem reluctant.

“I am okay with it, so do not worry about it. ...Ahー But I suppose I cannot have you walk around like this.”

Reiji lifts you into the air.

“Please do not grip onto me so tightly, it makes it difficult to see in front of me. Besides, do you truly need to make such a fuss over being lifted into the air? It is not elegant for a lady to be so loud.”

You insist that you can walk by yourself.

“What do you mean ‘it’ll be fine’? It is quite obvious that you will trip and hurt yourself if I were to let you walk barefoot. With your current condition, I am afraid we have no other choice but to return to the manor for tonight. It is truly a shame, but we will have to postpone visiting the festival to a later date.”

You apologize.

“Good grief...If you truly feel remorseful, then let me have some of your blood once we’re home. ...Understand?”

The two of you are walking in town.

“...Oi, was that the last store on the list?”

“We walked ‘round a bunch today. Aren’t you tired?”

“...Ah. ...Idiot. Don’t be actin’ tougher than you are. ...’Kay. If you got everythin’ you wanted, let’s head home.”

You come to a halt.

“Hm? Why stop walking all of a sudden?”

You start to panic.

*Rustle rustle*

“Huh? What’s with the panic?”

You explain.

“Hah...? You left your shopping bag somewhere...? ーー Now that you mention it, at some point you were walkin’ ‘round with just that small purse on your shoulder.”

You panic again.

“Che...Just calm down for now. Freakin’ out won’t fix the issue, will it? Do you have any idea where you might have forgotten it? I remember you carried a paper bag in your hand when we went to grab lunch. You still had it when we left the restauran, right?”

You frown.

“Haah...? You don’t remember? Then I guess we should try our luck there first.”

The two of you return to the restaurant.

*TIMESKIP*

You leave the restaurant again.

“If it’s not here, then where could it be? ...We’ve been constantly on the move ever since we left the restaurant, haven’t we? Che...! Guess we have no other choice. ...Let’s try followin’ the same path again.”

You start to lose hope.

“Why do you look as if you’re ‘bout to cry? ...Come on, let’s go.”

You follow Subaru.

*TIMESKIP*

“...Che. It’s nowhere to be found. Wouldn’t it just be easier to just buy the same thing again?”

You hesitate.

“Oh come on, make up your damn mind already! ...Fine, I’ll buy you a new one then!”

You shake your head.

“Why not!? ...If we can’t find it anywhere and I can’t buy you a new one, then what do you want to do, huh!? Damn...!”

*Rustle*

“...Hm? That food truck sellin’ crepes over there seems oddly familiar...Wait! Right! Why didn’t I realize sooner!? So that’s what happened...”

You tilt your head to the side.

“Do you remember there was this one customer who dropped their wallet which caused coins to scatter all over the place?”

You nod.

“Wait here one sec, okay? ...Don’t you dare move, understand?”

Subaru leaves for a bit.

“Haah, haah...Haah. Here you go.”

*Rustle*

“This is what you’ve been lookin’ for, isn’t it?”

You nod in surprisement.

“You placed the bag on the ground while helpin’ the person pick up their coins, remember? That’s when you forgot about it. Another customer who saw the bag afterwards handed it to the food truck’s owner, assuming that you might come back for it. ...I can’t believe you’d forget ‘bout your own shit while helpin’ someone else out. ...Stop causin’ extra trouble for me, geez.”

You get very excited about having your bag back.

“...!? You’re way too happy ‘bout this. ...Well, I guess I’m glad we were able to find it.”

You are surprised he remembered about the food truck. 

“...Nah, It was just a pure coincidence, really.”

You thank him over and over.

“Ahー Fine, I understand! So can you please just shut up already!? ...Haah. Be more careful next time, ‘kay?”

You nod.

“...Anyway, is there really somethin’ that important in there that it was worth nearly crying over? What exactly did you buy?”

You explain.

“...Ah? For me? ...It wasn’t somethin’ for yourself? ...Can I take a look inside?”

*Rustle rustle*

“...A cushion for my coffin!? ‘Cause you saw me contemplatin’ whether or not I should get a new one...? You...”

You elaborate.

“To express your gratitude...I mean, it wasn’t that big of a deal...No, nevermind...You went through the trouble to get it for me, so I’m definitely not gonna turn it down. ...Thanks.”

You look at him, surprised. 

“W-Why are you starin’ at me like that!? I didn’t say anythin’...! You’re just harin’ things! ...Come on, we found what you were lookin’ for, so let’s just go home already!”

The two of you start walking home.

“Haah...Gratitude, huh? ...What the heck do I get her now in return? I have no clue...I suppose I’ll start by lookin’ ‘round for somethin’ she might enjoy.”

You ask Subaru if something is wrong.

“...Ah? ...I-It’s nothin’! Come on! Look where you’re goin’! ...I went shoppin’ with you today so next week...You’ll keep me company, deal?”

(1) A Yukata is a cheaper version of the traditional kimono. The fabric is also much thinner and there are not as many layers, so they are often worn to summer festivals, where a traditional kimono would probably result in you drenched in sweat by the end of the night. Geta is the name is for the traditional, Japanese wooden sandals which are worn together with a kimono or a yukata.

•Henry is pleasantly surprised. He thought that he had to make you into a doll by force, but the fact that you're letting him doing this ('willingly') makes this easier for him.

•He places his hands on your shoulders. "I'll make you into the most beautiful doll in the world...A doll that only I can possess and have as my own..." Henry promises with a smile. He runs his fingers down your body, pressing gentle touches on your skin. He gets exicted at the thought of turning you into something he's always imagined you to be.

•He spends the next few days preparing. He wants this to be perfect. Henry buys you the finest clothes and accessories. You're confused when he tells you that you can't wear them right now. He wants you to wear them after he's finished making you into the perfect doll.

•On the final day, he spends his last moments with you. He's much more gentle and 'loving' than usual. "Shh...It's okay, darling. It will be painless. I promise." He coos, before permanently sedating you and fulfilling your request and his desires.

•He takes his time during the process, not wanting to mess anything up. When he's done, he dresses you up in the prettiest clothes and gently places you on his bed.

•Henry spends his time everyday admiring your new form, feeling even more possessive over you. He treats you like you're delicate, being very careful with you as he touches you. He doesn't want his best doll being damaged in any way.

•When guests are coming over, they always stop and admire you, not knowing that you were once a living being. He warns them not to stare at you for too long, glaring at them as they apologize. Henry also becomes enraged when they ask if you're a doll that's for sale; he doesn't plan on sharing or selling you. After all, you're his precious, little doll.

Finally, Rei has the chance to show how much she loves her children, Touya. She goes towards fire to save his son. I love how first two thing she says 'Touya! I am sorry!' because thats exactly what Touya needs to hear. His mom is here to save him, trying to cool him down and tells him that she is sorry.

And i wish we get more clear reaction from Dabi because his face is...hard to read. He looks so shocked and sad but still, i wish we get some child Touya rec to his mom since we get with Endeavour scenes so we should've get with his mother and siblings too. I hope we get it at some point in story.

And this is personal opinion but i dont like Fuyumi and Natsuo's speech, compared to Rei's.

Though it is understandable why they say this, i dont like it. Fuyumi says she doesnt want to lose 'anyone else'. This speech is like 'we already lost you so at least, i want my parents to stay alive'. Its like she is saying that there is no hope for Touya.

And Natsuo's 'stupid big brother' thing reminds me of Shouto who said the same thing to him. He is thinking about his past and he says 'stop causing more trouble!'. As if this is all Touya's fault. As if Touya shut his mouth, none of these would've happenned. I think this is the last thing Touya needs to hear right now.

So i know most people might not agree with this but i dont like those speechs at all. I know its such an emotional moment and all, but i wish they told him that they want their brother to live too, that they love him, that they should come home already etc. It is realistic that they are talking this way, and at least they are trying to save their brother too, mostly their mother and father but i think they also want to save Touya too so i get it but once again, i hate their speechs. Its not helpfull.

And Endeavour lol. I never have any expectations for him so i am not surprised that his decision is to kill Touya. Once again leave him behind, the black sheep of the family. Look, i do understand that Endeavour doesnt want other family members to die but he had so many chances to make it right, he constantly throw all of these away and since beginning until the end, he is just ugh.

Meanwhile, Touya is already mentally out of it. I dont even think he understands what is happenning right now. He kinda lost the control of his power, his mind. I think he cant stop the fire even if he wants to. But i think at the end he seems kinda happy that his family is here with him so thats why he is imagining a world that he is accepted, happy with his family. Except Shouto, because because in his mind, he didnt accept him as family member yet.

This was painful to read. Touya deserves better. I am worried about him because he might get 'too exicted' to be with his family again and might be out of control more. I dont think he will die but still, its painful to read. I hope he and other gets saved in time.

Drabble- Joel Miller: Birthday Time

Joel had a birthday today regardless of him not yet telling me I knew that secret inforamtion. Now that we had been in Jackson for a whole year. Tommy had gotten comfortable with his older brother being around, and with me being around.

He was happier then he probably let on that Joel had found someone to be with. We both knew how hard losing his daughter had been not that there were many stories shared between the two of us.

Ellie had saved him, and Joel had saved me. Ellie had finally found some sort of stablity. Joel and I could see the smile that would grow on her face as kids her age came knocking on our front door asking if she come out and doing something totally legal with them.

I had asked Tommy just a few months ago when Joels birthday actually was. "Tommy?" I called out his name in the mess hall. "Hmm, Y/n what can I do for ya?" He answered as he closed the distance. "I have something important I need to tell Joel but I want to do it on his birthday. So, when is that?" I asked, the cold weather was already growing in Jackson. My three layers and little gloves that made my hands warm were keeping me comfort as I waited for Tommy to answer.

Brows turned down, "He hasn't told you?" Tommy asked, I rolled my eyes dramtically. "He told me bullshit, I don't believe him sayin' his birthday has already passed" I said tugging at my gloves. "Yeah he has a tendency to do that, well let's see" Tommy looked up towards the roof, looked like he was counting in his head. "This month actually hmm… somethin' like the 26th, he's turning somethin' like fifty-seven. Does that help?" Tommy asked, curious as a black cat. I nodded and placed my gloves back on my hand.

The months were hard to keep track of sometimes, and if you got lucky you'd find something that would drag you right into the time period you'd need. Well I had that. I was on a clock for the next seven months at least. I walked home, and waited until Ellie came back from hanging out with her friends.

"Ellie I have to ask you to help me in the kitchen please!" I yelled out, "Kay be there in a second." Ellie came trotting, "I need you to help make a cake for Joel, it's his birthday soon." Her face bloomed with exctiement, "Really! We have everything we need? For fucking real" I smiled and nodded my head.

Cooking with Ellie was 'exciting' She was a choatic baker. Floor and sugar laid across the counter top, and egg shells had somehow ended up in the batter mix. "I need one more favor from you?" "Hmm?" "Can you see if the town has any birthday candles?" She saluted me and ran off grabbing her coat before slamming the door. For the time she was gone the cake baked and gave the house a new and refreshing smell of warmth and love.

As the oven dinged and the door slammed I knew it was Ellie. Catching her breath, hands resting on her knees. "I… Icould only fucking find like a few.." She muttered trying to catch her breath. I took them from her hand and kissed her forehead. "That's fine Ell." We waited together, until the cake cooled and I could ice it.

I told Ellie about the secret, knowing she'd be far to excited about it to let me say in front of Joel without her knowing first. "Ellie, I have a surprise for Joel. Do you wanna know it first?" I asked, her browd kintted together. "What kind of surprise?" I cleared my thoart. "I'm pregnant." I said simply, confusion then exictment, then happiness. "Oh hell, Y/n I'm gonna have a little sibiling." My tears started to prickly with tears, then Ellie was hugging me.

I placed the candles in the cake and waited for the second slam on the Jackson house door. "Ellie, Y/n?" Joel screamed out, "You just wait right there, old man." Ellie screamed out. The heavy footsteps stopped, "why?" I laughed, and Ellie giggled. Ellie walked out first, turning off the living room light and I walked behind her with a few lite candles ontop the cake.

"Why did the lights go out?" Joel muttered, "Oh you stop it, today is an important day today." I said softly. "What are you two up to now?" He asked trying to hold back his own laugh. "Fucking open your eyes!" Ellie screamed when I got close enough to Joel.

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY, JOEL." Ellie and I shouted. "How'd you know… did… who told you it was my birthday?" A few questions came out of Joels mouth. "Blow out your candles will ya, I wanna slice of that shit." Joel rolled his eyes and looked at me over the flames, blowing out the candles. The dark took over the room once more, but Ellie was quick to flick the lights on and grab the cake from my plams. "Careful Ell." "Yeah, yeah I want a slice." She walked to the kitchen leaving just Joel and I alone. "Tommy told me." I said softly, as Joels arm wrapped around my waist and pulled me in. His lips were cold and a little chapped but I didn't care. I kissed him back with purpose. "I missed you ya know." Joel mutters agasint my lips.

"What did you wish for baby?" I ask Joel, he thinks for a moment and puts his forehead to mine. "For a family with you, but I already have that darlin'. I've got you and Ellie that's all I need." Joel says. I back away just ever so slightly. I look Joel right in his eyes, bitting my bottom lip.

"What about if we added another to our little family?" I asked, scared now that maybe Joel didn't want this baby we were going to have. "One more wouldn't be so bad, but I'm not getting any younger, darlin'." Joel said dragging me back into his chest. "Good" I muttered, "Because I have something to tell you." I felt Joel tense agasint me. "Hmm" "I'm…" "She's pregnagnt with a baby and shit." I heard Ellie scream from the other room. Joel looked over at her, then down at me pressed agasint his chest. My cheeks warm with embrasmessment. I nodded my head.

Joel smiled, his eyes brighting up somehow more, and he reached down bring his warmed up lips towards mine. Kissing me softly. A large warm hand landed on my lower stomach. "How far along?" Joel muttered softly, just between the two of us. "I'd say two months." Joel smile only grow.

"A baby and a birthday." I hummed along with him, "Hey you save me and my girl a slice, Ellie." I heard Ellie scoff, but bring out more plates.

The stench of the parlor was definitely an unfamiliar waft for Crosshair. When his brothers told him about a place they could lay low from the Empire, he didn't exactly have this... shelter in mind. At least there were tables for Dejarik as well as receiving his trusty rifle back, otherwise he'd be bored out of his mind. Maybe use the rusty parts of droids by the bins as target practice.

"You, Toothpick, what's so mesmerising that yew gotta stare at it for so long?" Cid snapped so abruptly. It seems Crosshair hasn't been paying attention to any of what she was saying. Hunter, who stood to her right, discreetly shook his head, grinning. Hunter didn't blame his inattentiveness. It wasn't so long ago they all fled from the Empire — shocking, amirite? — and had to keep a low profile which also means hand-to-mouth.

Crosshair, on the other hand, was more surprised that someone dare raised their voice at him. Especially someone who wasn't a clone or ranks higher than Hunter. He kept his composure anyway, spitting out his toothpick only to replace it with another one. It was probably a silent way of saying, 'don't talk to me when you own a dog shelter' or something like that.

"Oh, it litters too," Cid rolled her eyes, chucking Tech, who stood beside Crosshair, the information disk for a retrieval mission, "Now, hustle, hustle, this thing ain't collecting itself!" she waved her arms in a shooing motion before grabbing her weapon (walking) stick and walking back to her office.

Crosshair was told that they were all introduced to Cid from Echo, so he sent the ARC trooper a "generous" stare at what was basically Crosshair's first impression of her.

As long as his brothers were fine with it, he'd go along like he always had.

•You sensed her presence, waking you up from your nap

You woke up facing a person you didnt recognize. The unknown woman turned her eyes to you "Ah- Hello there, kid."

"Mhmmm.. Hi there" you rubbed your eyes to see her clearly "W-what are you gonna do to me?"

"Dont worry, I wont do anything bad. I just happen to see you while- going for a walk!" It was a half-lie. Yes she did just happen to see you, But she wondered if you knew where her target; a group of treasure hoarders were.

"Oh! Sorry for the misunderstanding. A group of strong men had recently stole my backpack and.. I thought you were one of them!"

"Strong men... stealing... Could you describe they're looks?" The unknown woman asked.

"Are you gonna help me find my backpack~?" You stood up, looking at her exictedly.

She reached out a hand to you "Sure. I have other stuff to deal with that group though. Just sit back and watch, alright? Unless you wanna cover your eyes."

Yelan smiled and continued to ask you more questions about the group, giving her more clues. not long after, You both managed to locate them.

You listened in amazement on how she explains the plan "So complicated... but fun!" Your mind wandered, thinking about different outcomes and turning them into scenarios

After that, you soon became fond of yelan. She treated you the way noone treated you before, Making you feel a.. different feeling.

"Im sorry y/n.. I have to get back now."

"B-but mama... I want you to stay with me!" You stared at her with puppy eyes "Let me come with you!!! Pretty pleaseeee with a cherry on top?"

She was surprised once you said "mama" she sighed, realizing you got that attached to her

"We can meet up here next time, Its getting late." She attemptee to politely answer

You shook your head and grabbed a part of her clothing. "Nuh-uh. Im not gonna sleep alone somewhere far away. If you're not gonna let me come then i'll just have to follow you! If you somehow manage to get away then ill f-find you tomorrow."

She could sense the sadness in your words. Well, Theres nothing she can do.. you seemed to be really clingy. She's dealt with children like you before, Many times. But how come torwards you, it was unalike? who could resist a poor child like you? Why did it feel... familiar? "How am i going to explain this to the agents.." She pondered

Once you both arrived in liyue harbor, She and her men set up a little room for you to settle in. You cleaned yourself up and sat on the comfortable matress.

•Your eyes roamed across the small room, you dont know why but.. it made you feel a bit emotional. Noone has ever done this for you, It made you feel a bit special.

You jump as you didnt notice your so called "saviour" standing behind the half-opened door.

"O-oh mothe- yelan! Its very pretty. Not like where i usually settle."

She chuckled "Mother, huh? You got comfortable really quick." Well, its not like she got comfortable too. She wont loosen up that quick though. You never know, a child could be involved with something unfortunate.

You went up to her and stared at her face. Yelan knew you wanted something, so she bent down to your level

"Its time to sleep now, y/n. We can chat tomorrow." Yelan said.

"I have one request, w-will you stay with me? just for a bit?"

Now, this moment prooves her speculations that you're having a rough time with your mental health. Seeing you having trouble falling asleep, moving a lot, all that. The sad part is, You dont notice it. You got used to living this poor life given by fate.

•The day after, she started to take care of you, Although she was always away due to her duties, you didnt mind.

•Sometimes you'd accidently call her "mother" and she'd frequently tease you about it and imitates by calling you "dearest daughter" with a hint of sarcasm

"Yelan, mother, a friend or a mere stranger. I can be any of those. I can play whoever you want me to be."

•Yelan taught you lots of stuff growing up! Most of it was on how to communicate with people, the rest, she wanted you to learn on your own so you could be independant.

•When she was away, She'd always send you letters to remind you that she hasnt forgot.

•But getting older, you soon start realizing things.

•Its the way she kept lying. You knew your mother's job was to lie, no doubt she lied to you multiple times. But as you lay down in the middle of your bed, dozens of thoughts going thru your mind, what made you believe her?

•You get up to look at your calendar.

"Mother said she'd be back yesterday. What happened to that? hrm, another lie yet again." You spoke to yourself.

"Listen to me. yes i lie, you know me. You know what i do. But i promise you one thing.."

The familiar voice made sure to speak clearly, though how it spoke so suddenly startled you.

"Ye-yelan..?"

"Missed me, my favorite y/n?" She slightly teased

You jumped to embrace her, feeling warm again. "Im listening! Tell me the promise."

"...That i'll always come back." She cleared her throat and continued. "That is the one thing that will never be untrue. I have a reason for keeping you as far as possible from my work and not telling you everything, you know? Well, one of those reasons are to keep you safe. Its for that very promise. I understand your feelings and- i apologize if i couldnt fulfill several of your wishes due to work. I'll make it up to you, next time theres another minor problem im tasked to do, i'll bring you along with me just like how i did the first time i met you. Are we clear?"

Your eyes widened, then you smiled. The genuine one you only showed to her.

"There we go, now you're smiling. Keep it up." Yelan said.

"Watch me, i'll use the technique you taught me when that time comes!"

Yelan looked thru your window, and back to you. "Exicted again, hm? Lets get you to bed now, the days will go by faster."

For the first time in his life Kell was at hospital as a nurse, not as a paitent and seems so exicted to start his first day and as he was nervous he was walking to where he was stationed and bumped into someone, he looks up and sees a handsome older dr. "Oh im so sorry"

Amos had been walking to his office, taking his time to talk to the nurses as he adjusted his reading glasses as he looked over his schedule on a tablet he carried. Arguably he wasn't looking where he was going either, letting out a soft noise of surprise as he turned the corner and was met with a younger man. "Oh, don't worry about it, I'm also partially at fault here," he assured the younger man, smiling reassuringly. "I don't think I've seen you around before, am I a bad doctor or are you new," he asked in a joking manner, taking a step back to give them both a little more space.
