Actually it was surreal as hell to look at my transcript today. I've got all but 3 classes done or in WIP. I'd have to Severely fuck up to fail any of my classes this semester, by this point. Which I don't think will happen. Honestly I might even get straight A's for the first time in college. Which would be cool!!!
So just three classes left. Just three. It's so wild. I'm pretty excited.
#speculation nation#for the first time i actually glanced at the 'apply for graduation' option#to graduate at the end of spring id have to apply by sometime in february.#idk i'll bring it up with the advisor tomorrow. make sure im actually good to graduate with these 3 classes.#part of the problem is the fact that i didnt see the classes i have to take 2 of on the offered list#which makes me nervous about whether theyre even available next semester. and what id have to do to take them.#alternative options? or *waiting*? thatd be even worse. so im not sure yet.#the other thing is that my major started requiring students to take an internship in order to graduate#but since ive taken a long ass time my index year aka when k started doesnt have that as a requirement.#at least that's what my last advisor said :p so im nervous about if this new one says differently.#an internship would certainly be useful for getting work experience and resume padding#but i never wanted to before bcus i needed to work my job. that paid me Money. unlike the probable internship.#and also i dont have my license and i DEFINITELY dont want to TRAVEL. what would i do with my cats#?????#so i havent done an internship. and i dont intend to. but if he says it's actually required then id have to work to get one over summer#etc etc. then graduation would be delayed.#i really really hope it doesnt turn out like that. i really Really want to just be done already. by the end of spring.#spring 25 give it up for graduating spring 25#i was originally class of 19 lol but i like 25 better. in terms of numbers.#class of 15 for high school and 25 for college... yes#and YEAH it's taken me 10 years😭😭😭😭 thats why i dont want it to take any longer 😭😭😭😭 im so close i just wanna be DONE WITH IT!!!!!!#so fucking close i can taste it. im halfway done with my current semester too. So Fucking Close...

Please don't tune out when you get to the non-partisan section of your ballot this November. First off, where state Supreme Court justices are elected, Republicans are trying their darndest to elect candidates who will destroy reproductive freedom, gut voting rights, and do everything in their power to give "contested" elections to Republicans. Contrast Wisconsin electing a justice in 2023 who helped rule two partisan gerrymanders unconstitutional, versus North Carolina electing a conservative majority in 2022, who upheld a racist voter ID law and a partisan gerrymander that liberal justices had previously struck down both of.
Second, local judicial offices will make infinitely more of an impact on your community than a divided state or federal legislature will. District and circuit courts, especially, are where criminalization of homelessness and poverty play out, and where electing a progressive judge with a commitment to criminal justice reform can make an immediate difference in people's lives.
It's a premier example of buying people time, and doing profound-short-term good, while we work to eventually change the system. You might not think there will be any such progressive justices running in your district, but you won't know unless you do your research. (More on "research" in a moment.)
The candidates you elect to your non-partisan city council will determine whether those laws criminalizing homelessness get passed, how many blank checks the police get to surveil and oppress, and whether lifesaving harm reduction programs, like needle exchanges and even fentanyl test strips, are legal in your municipality. Your non-partisan school board might need your vote to fend off Moms for Liberty candidates and their ilk, who want to ban every book with a queer person or acknowledgement of racism in it.
Of course, this begs the question if these candidates are non-partisan, and often hyper-local, then how do I research them? There's so much less information and press about them, so how do I make an informed decision?
I'm not an expert, myself. But I do think/hope I have enough tips to consist of a useful conclusion to this post:
Plan ahead. If you vote in person, figure out what's on your ballot before you show up and get jumpscared by names you don't know. Find out what's on your ballot beforehand, and bring notes with you when you vote. Your city website should have a sample ballot, and if they drop the ball, go to Ballotpedia.
Ballotpedia in general, speaking of which. Candidates often answer Ballotpedia's interviews, and if you're lucky, you'll also get all the dirt on who's donating to their campaign.
Check endorsements. Usually candidates are very vocal about these on their websites. If local/state progressive leaders and a couple unions (not counting police unions lol) are endorsing a candidate, then that's not the end of my personal research process per se, but it usually speeds things up.
Check the back of the ballot. That's where non-partisan races usually bleed over to. This is the other reason why notes are helpful, because they can confirm you're not missing anything.
I've seen some misconceptions in the reblogs, so an addendum to my point about bringing notes on the candidates: I strongly suggest making those notes a physical list that you bring polling place with you. Many states do allow phones at the polling place, but several states explicitly don't — Nevada, Maryland, and Texas all ban phones, and that may not be an exhaustive list. There may also be states that allow individual city clerks to set policies.
You should also pause and think before you take a photo of your ballot, because even some states that don't ban phones still ban ballot photographs. But whether it's a photo, or just having your phone in general — in an environment as high-risk for voter suppression as the current one, you don't want even a little bit of ambiguity about your conduct. Physical notes are your friends.

Haviv Rettig Gur on deaths in Gaza:
The full list of Gazans killed in the war has been released in Gaza. Possibly. At the very least, as Israeli analysts are now finding, there aren't duplicate ID numbers or other tells one finds in obviously manipulated data sets. But here's another reason to trust the data: It shows just how much Israel's warfighting tried to separate combatant from civilian. It seems unlikely that a faked Gazan data set would show such a result. The graph in the first tweet of this thread shows male to female deaths. If female deaths are assumed to be a civilian baseline (the age distribution is roughly the general Gazan population's age distribution), then the enormous spike of the blue line, right in the area of the graph that represents fighting-age men, is the best likely measure of combatant deaths. According to this analyst, the gap comes to over 16,000 dead, or almost exactly a third of total deaths. That's a Gazan data set, not an Israeli one. And it's the most complete one so far, the only one that claims to give all the names of all the dead, the one most likely to be an honest recording of the actual dead. And according to this data set, the death toll in Gaza is two civilians to each combatant, well in line with the highest standards of modern democratic armies. To be clear - this caveat is obvious, but it's important enough to say it explicitly nonetheless - the debate isn't over whether children died in Gaza or crimes were committed. The answer to both is yes. There were definitely and unquestionably war crimes committed in Gaza, air strikes that should not have been carried out. And there are thousands of dead children in this data set. The debate is over the extent, whether these are at a level consistent with the inevitable costs of even the most legitimate kind of war, which will always be horrible, or whether the best data we have shows wanton Israeli killing and disregard for moral rules and international laws. Israel's haters will tweet pictures of dead children in response. If they did that for every war, I'd take them seriously and sympathetically. But the vast majority of them don't. They don't care about dead children, only about destroying Israel. And so they can't actually tell us anything about whether our army, broadly speaking, has fought morally. But this data set can. All war is evil, all war is hell, all war is a kind of civilizational failure. But war is sometimes nevertheless legitimate and inevitable. International humanitarian law came about not to end war, because ending war is impossible, but to mitigate its evils. If this data set is correct - again, a data set released from Gaza and not at all intended to validate any Israeli argument about its battlefield standards - then the costs imposed on Gaza by Israeli warfighting methods are consistent with what is generally considered in the West to be moral and legitimate. It is a comparable ratio to the 2016 Battle of Mosul in which Iraq, the Kurds and America drove ISIS out of the city. War is bad. I respect people who vehemently oppose this one, who question the Israeli political leadership's decisions, who use the war to debate the larger question of Palestinian independence and statehood. These are all legitimate responses to the suffering of Gazans. As is the argument I personally agree with that this war was the only path available to us to rid ourselves and Gaza of the neverending and endlessly destructive scourge of Hamas. But it nevertheless matters - indeed, it may be the most important thing over the long term - that this war's civilian casualties were not worse than other comparable wars, and that even Gazan data sets show that to be the case.

Disabilities that You Should Consider Representing in Your Writing More… part 1
[large text: Disabilities that You Should Consider Representing in Your Writing More… part 1]
While all disabilities are underrepresented in basically all sorts of media, it’s hard to not notice the trend in what disabilities make up the majority of representation. It’s especially visible when having a blog like this, where we can see what disabilities writers even consider including in their writing, and which ones never come up.
One in four people are disabled. With eight billion people alive it means there’s a lot of disabled people, and a lot of reasons why they are disabled in the first place - but this diversity is rarely represented, even on this blog, and anyone who has been following for a while has probably noticed that fact.
To be blunt: there are disabilities other than “amputee” and “invisibly disabled mobility aid user”. Does that mean that it’s wrong to write either of those? No, and we don’t want to imply that it is. Does it mean that either of these have a lot of good representation? Absolutely not, half of all the amputee characters out there are written by people who don't seem to be even aware they're writing a disabled character. Does it mean that when you are deciding on what to give your character, you should think beyond (or along! people can be, and often are, multiply disabled!) just those two? Absolutely. Disability is a spectrum with thousands of things in it.
This is, simply, a list of common disabilities. This is just a few of them, as this is part one of presumably many (or, at least three as of right now). By “common” we rather arbitrarily decided on “~1% or more” - so at least 1 in 100 people has the disabilities below, which is a lot. Featuring!: links that you should click, sources of the % that are mostly just medical reports and might be hard to read, and quick, very non-exhaustive explanations to give you a basic idea of what these are.
Intellectual disability (about 1.5%) Intellectual disability is a condition we have written about at length before. It’s a developmental disability that affects things such as conceptualization, language, problem-solving, or social and self-care skills. ID can exist on its own or be a part of another condition, like Down Syndrome, Congenital Iodine Deficiency, or Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders. This post covers a lot of basic information that you might need. We have an intellectual disability tag that you can look through!
Cancer survivors (5.4% in the US, about 0.55% worldwide) A cancer survivor is a pretty self-explanatory term. There is a lot of types of cancer and some of them are very common while others are very rare, which makes this a very diverse category. Cancers also have different survival rates. While not every survivor will have disabling symptoms, they definitely happen. Most of the long-term side effects are related to chemotherapy, radiation, and other medication, especially if they happened in children. They can include all sorts of organ damage, osteoporosis, cognitive problems, sensory disabilities, infertility, and increased rate of other cancers. Other effects include removal of the affected area, such as an eye, a spleen, breasts, or the thyroid gland, each of which will have different outcomes. Cancer, and cancer treatments, can also result in PTSD.
Diabetes (about 8.5%, ~95% of that are type 2) Diabetes is a group of endocrine conditions that cause hyperglycemia (high blood sugar) for various reasons depending on the type. The vast majority of people have type 2 diabetes, which can cause fatigue, poor healing, or feeling thirsty or hungry. A diabetic person will use insulin when needed to help manage their blood sugar levels. There are many complications related to diabetes, from neuropathy, to retinopathy, and chronic kidney disease, and there's a lot of disabilities that coexist with diabetes in general! You might want to check out the #how to write type 1 diabetes tag by @type1diabetesinfandom!
Disabling vision loss (about 7.5%) Blindness and low vision are a spectrum, ranging from total blindness (around 10% of legally blind people) to mild visual impairment. Blindness can be caused by countless things, but cataracts, refractive errors, and glaucoma are the most common. While cataracts cause the person to have a clouded pupil (not the whole eye!) blind eyes usually look average, with strabismus or nystagmus being exceptions to that fairly often (but not always). Trauma isn't a common cause of blindness, and accidents are overrepresented in fiction. A blind person can use a white cane, a guide dog or horse, or both. Assistive solutions are important here, such as Braille, screenreaders, or magnifying glasses. We have a blindness tag that you can look through, and you might want to check out @blindbeta and @mimzy-writing-online.
Psoriasis (about 2-4%) Psoriasis is a chronic skin condition with multiple subtypes; it can cause intense itching, pain, and general discomfort, and often carries social stigma. It’s an autoimmune and non-contagious disability that affects the skin cells, resulting in raised patches of flaky skin covered with scales. It often (30%) leads to a related condition, psoriatic arthritis, which causes joint pain, tenderness, and fatigue, among other things.
Stroke survivors (0.5-1%) A stroke survivor is a person who has survived any kind of stroke (ischemic, hemorrhagic, etc.). While the specific symptoms often depend on the exact location on where the stroke happened, signs such as hemiplegia, slurred speech, vision problems, and cognitive changes are common in most survivors to some degree. When someone has a stroke as a baby, or before they are born, it can result in cerebral palsy, epilepsy, and other disabilities. We have a brain injury tag that you can look through!
Noonan Syndrome (about 0.1-1% - mild is 1%, severe 0.1%) Noonan Syndrome is a disability that is almost never mentioned in any context, but certainly not around the topic of writing disabled characters. It’s a congenital condition that can cause cardiomyopathy, chronic joint pain, hypermobility, short stature, facial differences such as ptosis, autism, and various lymphatic problems among other things. Some people with Noonan Syndrome might use mobility aids to help with their joint pain.
Hyperthyroidism (about 1.2%) Hyperthyroidism is a condition of the endocrine system caused by hormone overproduction that affects metabolism. It often results in irritability, weight loss, heat intolerance, tremors, mood swings, or insomnia. Undertreated hyperthyroidism has a rare, but extremely dangerous side effect associated with it called a thyroid storm, which can be fatal if untreated.
Hypothyroidism (>5%) Hypothyroidism is an endocrine condition just as hyperthyroidism is, and it causes somewhat opposite symptoms. Due to not producing enough thyroid hormones, it often causes fatigue, depression, hair loss, weight gain, and a frequent feeling of being cold. It’s often comorbid with other autoimmune disabilities, e.g. vitiligo, chronic autoimmune gastritis, and rheumatoid arthritis. Extreme hypothyroidism can also be potentially fatal because of a condition known as Myxedema coma (or “crisis”), which is also rare.
Deafblindness (about 0.2-2%) Being DeafBlind is often considered to be an extremely rare disability, but that’s not really the case. DeafBlindness on its own isn’t a diagnosis - it can be caused by a wide range of things, with CHARGE syndrome (congenital), Usher syndrome (born deaf, becomes blind later in life), congenital rubella, and age-related deafness and blindness being some of the most common reasons. DeafBlindness is a wide spectrum, the vast majority of DeafBlind people aren’t fully blind and deaf, and they can use various ways of communication. Some of these could be sign language (tactile or not), protactile, the deafblind manual, oral speech (aided by hearing aids or not), the Lorm alphabet, and more. You can learn more about assistive devices here! Despite what various media like to tell you, being DeafBlind isn’t a death sentence, and the DeafBlind community and culture are alive and thriving - especially since the start of the protactile movement. We have a DeafBlindness tag that you can look through!
It’s probably worth mentioning that we have received little to no asks in general for almost all the disabilities above, and it’s certainly not due to what mods answer for. Our best guess is that writers don’t realize how many options they have and just end up going for the same things over and over.
Only representing “cool” disabilities that are “not too much while having a particular look/aura/drama associated” isn’t what you should aim for. Disabled people just exist, and all of us deserve to be represented, including those whose disabilities aren’t your typical “cool design” or “character inspo”, and literally all of us deserve to have good, informed representation. Sometimes we are just regular people, with disabilities that are “boring” or “too much”, and don’t make for useful plot points.

Yandere Movie Week [review]

Day 2 - Secret Obsession (2019)
Yandere Score: 9/10
Overall Score: 6/10
I hate to only give this movie a 6/10, because I really enjoyed it.
But it's the kind of fun, turn-your-brain-off flick best enjoyed with ice cream and zero critical thinking skills.
The premise is solid - our heroine Jennifer (Brenda Song) wakes up with amnesia after being chased down by a masked killer. A great set up for tension, and a pretty classic intro to a thriller.
The opening scene yanks us straight into the action. A rainy night. A mysterious, knife wielding stranger. A desperate dash for safety. (If only they could have kept this pace up for the entire movie, sigh).
You can see where I'm going with this. It doesn't go well for our girl.
After she wakes up in the hospital, we're introduced to her husband, Russel (Mike Vogel). His character design had two words on it and those were "buff nerd." Biceps and bifocals.
He's with her through every step of her recovery, sweet and steadfast while she grapples with the guilt of not remembering him, or their life together.
But most importantly, he's here to whisk her away to safety! That safety being a gorgeous house out in the mountains.
With no cell service or nearby neighbours.
I love the cabin chic look Jen, but maybe not the best place to be when there's a killer out for blood.
As you can expect, things go south and they go south fast. Not even half an hour in and we get our first on screen murder. Trust me, this particular yandere is not shy about his intentions.
He works hard to earn his 9/10 rating. He's been obsessed with Jen for years, and her getting married is the final straw. Either she can be his, or she can join his rapidly growing list of victims.
We've got plenty of the classic tropes. Cameras in her bedroom. Isolation. Chaining her to the bed. A total catch, no idea why Jen was never into him.
He's the quintessential "If I can't have you, no one can" sort of guy. Doing whatever he has to to keep his girl. He gets creative with it too. How many yanderes can say they broke out Photoshop as part of their grand plan?
Unfortunately, he's far from perfect. And I don't mean the murders. (Hot guys can do a little murder sometimes, as a treat).
His plan hinges on people just... not checking ID? You're lucky you made it as far as you did, pretty boy. Guess some deranged killers get all the luck.
On top of that, the chemistry between him and Jen is terribly lukewarm. A few tense moments, but nothing simmering hot.
For the most part, he isn't very scary or emotive. Which is a HUGE missed opportunity.
Show us the passion that led him to this point! Show us a man on the end of his tether, desperate to keep his girl! Give us something more than bland acting, and a range beyond straight-faced and slightly-less-straight-faced.
Despite his long list of crimes, he just isn't intimidating.
Maybe the intention was to have this non-threatening guy do all these things as a way to ratchet up the tension, but I don't think the movie had the budget or the time to pull it off.
He gets much better in the third act - more demanding, more handsy. But it never reaches the point where I'm at the edge of my seat wondering if he's about to lose his shit.
Jennifer as a character is moderately likeable. Despite spending quite a bit of time with her, I struggle to think of anything majorly distinctive. Not great. Not terrible. I think it's Brenda Song herself rather than Jennifer who I end up liking.
She's also - how do I say this politely - not always the smartest. And I get it girl, it's hard to think under pressure. But how the hell do you manage to lock your keys inside your car when you're being chased by a killer?
She's lucky she has her golden retriever man to protect her, really.
In terms of technicals, I'd say they're okay. Not very eloquent of me, but that's exactly what they are.
The cinematography is passable. There weren't a lot of shots that made me pause and stare. It has that glossy look that a lot of direct-to-streaming movies have, where you can tell the budget is stretched a bit thin, and the camera guy is antsy to get his cheque.
The score doesn't stick out to me at all. Hate to say it.
Don't go in expecting a blockbuster, high budget film. It's fun but utterly mid-teir in budget, story and characters. The premise has promise, but it fails to deliver as much tension and terror as it could.
Would I recommend? Despite its issues, I'd say it's worth picking up. Not the scariest or prettiest movie on this list, but it's a quick fix of yandere to get you through the day.

Day 1 - Fear (1996)
Day 2 - Secret Obsession (2019)
Day 3 - Hush (2016)
Day 4 - The Perfect Guy (2015)
Day 5 - The Boy Next Door (2015)
Day 6 - The Invisible Man (2020)
Day 7 - Til Death Do Us Part (2017)

Yandere Contained Monster Family (5)
Rules | Kofi | Masterlist
“Darling good to see you!!”
The vampire who was snarling at you just a week ago was reaching out to you with open arms
Of course, it’d be a death sentence for him if you returned the gesture
So you settled with a wave and read out the same warning that came with every check up
“Now as we begin your examination, you cannot cut, snap, outwardly threaten, vocalize aggressively to the guards present. The same actions towards me will result in a 40 hours subject to forceful neutralization. So do you agree to the terms?”
“I do!”
Letting the scientists and taser-wielding guards enter his enclosure you stood in the usual place to keep his attention
“So did you watch our video?”
Remembering the conversation you had with his werewolf husband you figured there was something important they wanted to say
“Unfortunately I haven’t. Work’s been hectic lately with so many new arrivals.”
Villar pouted, crossing his arms
Of course the guards and the scientists all reacted as though he’d swiped at them
Holding your hand out to tell them to continue you worked to make sure he kept busy talking to you
Wouldn’t want your only vampire to die because the team was jumpy
“Don’t be upset it was on my list of things to do today.”
Villar huffed, “Good. It would have been better to tell you in person but we’ll make do with what we have.”
“Is it anything you can give me a hint to now?”
A smile spread across his face
“I think it’s best you see the video first then I think you’ll be rushing to talk to me.”
You left shortly after his ominous hint, promising you’d look at the video
There were quite a few other monsters you had to speak to and appease before you were finally able to make it to the records room
Pulling up the date of their scheduled meeting it was easy to use your ID card to declassify the video
“There you two are....so what exactly did you want to show me?”
The video started normally an operator warning them of the consequences before the gate pulled up no longer separating their cages
Faster than the cameras could clearly decipher they were on each other
Kisses and hugs shared between the two as they whispered something to one another
Keeping the volume up, you watched them recount their experiences and how terribly they missed one another
Sounding like desperate star-crossed lovers in a soap opera
It wasn’t until they stopped their movements to look up at the camera
Almost staring into your soul
Red and white eyes stare into the camera and you feel your heart began to beat faster
Did you overexert yourself today?
Take too many anti-depressants?
Why was it doing this?
It couldn’t be that those eyes made those fuzzy memories a tad clearer
Or that the sight of them sided by side reminded you of something you were sure you’d forgotten
“We have something to tell you!” “We actually are-”
But then the video cuts
A warning from the company plays
“BEWARE THE REST OF THE VIDEO HAS BEEN FLAGGED FOR SEXUAL INTERCOURSE BETWEEN EXPERIMENT SUBJECTS UNLESS YOU ARE PART OF THE RELATIONS COMMITTEE THAN PROCEED WITH CAUTION–”
That was all you needed to hear before cutting the video
“I guess they just wanted me to know just how…deeply in love they are…Good for them.”
Did this lower your opinion of the two?”
No Yes
Even humans who are in captivity for too long act a certain way perhaps this is just a side effect
You weren’t sure why they’d want you to see but in the end that’s not your problem
So the next time you see Rod who’s unusually more active when he sees you
You do your best to muster a normal smile
“So you saw the video? What did you think? How do you feel?”
“Well, I’ll let you know, that when you two get together it’s worth a whole censor warning from this facility and we’ve recorded slimes ‘having fun’ with our employees. And the thing where you looked in the camera right before was very meta. If you two ever get out here I’m sure there’s a market for that kind of thing.”
“What…?”
Unfortunately, Rod eventually gathers what you think you saw and not what they originally said
He sadly goes back to his spot in the corner as he sulks
For a minute he really thought they’d beaten him
Well with this new road block they might never get the chance to convince you otherwise
If that’s the case no one needs to hold back anymore

Beginners Guide To Making A Point: Arcane
**Spoilers For Arcane**
Good morning my friends. Have you or someone you know been victimized by one of the mean folks like myself ripping apart your takes on the show Arcane? Well today there is hope. I’m here to share the sinister secrets of our trade that allow us to commit such dastardly deeds. So the next time one of us comes knocking, you will be ready!
All too often, I see kind and gentle folks like you innocently trying to make statements like the ones below:
1. Caitlyn Kiramman murdered kids!
2. Caitlyn never showed any remorse!
3. Caitlyn lost her mom and acted like that was a justification for her crimes!
4. Caitlyn looked down and didn’t love Vi!
Now you aren’t doing anything wrong. Just sharing your take on this story and what happens. But then someone like me will come along and reblog with some snarky title and something like this:
1. There is no evidence of that whatsoever in any single moment of the show
2. I’d run down the various moments where she does show remorse
3. I’d list the long series of traumatic incidents that severely impact her mental state leading to her eventual fall into Ambessa’s clutches
4. Id explain that there are three moments and three moments only when she ever says a negative thing about Zaunites.
A- she calls the people who attacked the memorial animals immediately afterward. And lets be clear, they were.
B- She says Vi and Jinx share blood during her lowest and darkest moment.
C- She says something regarding the depravity of Zaun or something when talking to Singed after the Stillwater massacre. Of course I’d use the whole quote.
Then I would point out that she saved Vi’s life twice, spared Jinx after all she’d done to Cait in season 1 because Vi asked her to, started a war by trying to save Vander, and gave Vi the choice to free Jinx knowing full well Vi may leave and never return.
And you’d have a bunch of mean comments that hurt your feelings and people making fun of you and so on. But! I’m gonna show you how I do it and help you make your next case in a way people like me can’t attack. First we need to discuss one very simple rule
If you can’t back it up with content, it didn’t happen:
Now this one sounds simple. But it can be tricky to master. Let me give you an example-
Example: “Caitlyn murdered innocent Zaunites with The Grey!”
Okay. Now I know in your mind you see this and think, “well yea? I mean we saw the sketches of people who grew up surrounded by it their whole lives having problems. And Jayce suggests Viktor’s condition may have been caused by it. She exposed people to it that means she killed them”.
There is not in a single second of any frame, evidence that anyone died from exposure during the strike team’s operations. In fact we see several characters who were exposed, Caitlyn included, who are fine later. And I know, what you are thinking:
“But OP we don’t know if there were long term latent complications!”
Correct. And unless Riot and Fortiche tell us we never will. Vi could have CTE, Jinx could have untold issues from being infused with Shimmer, Sevika could have lung cancer. It’s all speculative. So if it didn’t happen, it isn’t good for analysis.
Going a tad bit deeper
Now this one does go even further. Let’s use this example:
Example- “Caitlyn never apologized!”
Now I see this one a lot. And I get it. She never says sorry out loud. So if you misunderstand the rule that means she doesn’t. But you notice it says “if you can’t back it up with the content”.
So while Caitlyn never speaks the words, we know she :
1. starts a war to save Vander
2. takes no action when Jinx has her back to her and instead rushes to save a wounded Vi
3. keeps Jinx in the Kiramman bunker rather than Stillwater and forgoes judgement until Vi wakes
4. has several bits of dialogue expressing her regret and self-hate
5. lets Vi make the choice to free Jinx, shows Vi love and acceptance when she feels she lost everyone
6. is quite clearly remorseful touching the place where she hit Vi.
These are quite clear signs of her remorse. So what does that mean? It means that even if it isn’t explicitly shown I can back it up with clear examples that are content driven. None of that is speculative. It is all clear and on screen.
And some of these are harder, like this one:
“Ekko clearly didn’t dispute the use of The Grey”:
We didn’t see Ekko. We didn’t hear from him during the strike team’s mission about what they were doing. So how can I say that?
1. We know he was in Zaun
2. He’s the firelight commander and has been battling Silco/shimmer for years for his people
3. He fights for the people of Zaun
These are all indisputable. And I can source each of these details directly from content. So sometimes you have to dig alittle deeper. But you can still support your ideas with plain on screen evidence.
*An Important Note*
We must also be careful not only to be sure we only use detail we can back up, but that we don’t exclude detail that does not support us. A great example for this is this one:
EXAMPLE: Caitlyn lost her mom and acts like that single loss justifies a full on dictatorship.
Now someone like me would come along and list the multiple times Jinx almost killed Caitlyn, the total eradication of Caitlyn’s faith in the pre-existing system after Marcus tried to murder her, the deaths of many of her peers in front of her, her abduction and possible torture at Jinx’s hands, listening to Jinx try and convince Vi to murder her, sparing Jinx at Vi’s pleading then watching Jinx murder her mother.
Now I’ve come and used all those details you left out and made you look silly. No one wants that! So be sure to include everything relevant. If its a good take it will survive it.
Conclusion:
So, using this guide hopefully you can craft your next analysis with the detail and content and avoid interactions with unpleasant folks like me. Just remember! Let’s leave the imagination in fanfics and keep the analysis to the content itself. Don’t worry though, if you lose track I’m here to help you out.

Top 5 Early Miraculous Episodes That Aged Like Fine Milk
So here is my list of episodes that, looking back, have absolutely not aged well. Id like to remind people yhat this is an Early Episodes list. As so, fan beloathes like Kuro Neko or Derision wont be figuring out, or anything past s03 for that matter.
#5.Chat Blanc
I remember when Chat Blanc came out the hype was out if this world, people saw it as the episode that would "distinguish children from men" in terms of lore and writing . An episode about Chat Noir akumatized? A villain reveal? A betrayal? The world-ending apocalypse? God, its every edgelord's wet dream.
As soon as it came out theories started poping out on the developments of that episode. When would Adrien know? How affected would Ladybug be by it? And Gabriel, what would be his reaction if he found out about it?
However, as we look back now what do we see? An episode that didnt really ammount to anything. Adrien and Gabriel were still unaware of the Chat Blanc timeline, Marinette seems to have forgotten the issue at all, except when it comes as an excuse to keep identities hidden.
The whole drama was set up, and there seems to be literally nothing to talk about now, killing all of its hype.
#4.Pupeteer 2
The episode seems pretty fine if not for one measily detail: we later learn how that was the moment Adrien fell for Marinette.
Which, as we rewatch the episode, makes little to no sense. In the episode, Adrien was nothing beyond eager to improve his platonic relationship with Marinette, still unsure why she couldnt stand talking to him. Even in the almost kiss moment, there is no blush, no flirt, not any sign whatsoever that he might have been remotely attracted to her.
And an important detail: If Adrien had felt anything romantic at all youd think he would be thinking twice about confiding to her about the other girl he loves. Not to say how he immediately started courting Kagami after, so Marinette wasnt even his second choice at that moment.
#3.Miraculer
Many may say that that Queen's Battle are the episodes that best describe Chloe's failed redemption arc. I disagree, saying that the one that better represent it is Miraculer. Here, we see chloe's redemption at its peak. Chloe rejecting akumas, pulling his weight against mayura, and even with her own issues working together with the whole team to win over the villain. And all just episodes from Chloe inexplicably just turn a 180 and going for the Evilest Person Ever position.
#2. Ladybug
If you ever want to prove to someone that the Sentimonster Theory was a retcon, just show them this episode. Ladybug disregards most of sentilife philosophicsl debates and just treats sentibeings as expendable life. We have Gabriel and Nathalie completely disregarding Sentimonster Life even with Adrien supposedly a sentimonster. Even Ladybug and Chat Noir give us little regarding sentibug's death, just a sad-face-with-tear reaction and moving on, and I really doubt the reaction would have been the same if a flesh-and-bone human had died. The narrative clearly doesnt aknowledge that Senti Ladybug's life was as inportant, what makes the whole claim that "sentimonster lives matter" later on nonsensical
#1.Chameleon
Remember when Miraculous was a fun and go-lucky superhero show about a girl and her cat fighting villains? Chameleon is the catalyst for when things started to go wrong. The whole Lila plot tapped into the insecurities of many people and brough out the worst in the fandom. Salt against Adrien, Alya, Bustier and the class started popping out, people who just wanted to prioritize Marinette's needs above all else started coming in. Class salt became a subgenre of the fandom and extremely popular.Chameleon may look innocent but awoke the worst of this fandom.

Blinkie.World coding and efficiency
Hi everybody. Thank you all for the support on my last post! I literally only just got on Tumblr, and I already feel very loved and supported. This is a very nice community for sure. It makes me happy to see so many people excited about it. And to every person saying they'd love their blinkies to be included... bold of you to assume you're not already on my radar! When I say I'm collecting every blinkie, I mean EVERY blinkie! The only exceptions are immoral ones like proship and anti equal rights. Even if I'm already getting blinkies from you guys, I do appreciate everyone sharing/ pointing them out to me. It helps me to be sure I've got as many as I can! So, thanks you guys. You're all very kind.
Anyhow, since there seems to be interest in Blinkie.World, I'm sharing a little more about it. This is about how the site's being made physically, both explaining it and trying to think of ways to improve the process. Also a bit on the workflow side of things. If that's not of interest to you then you can go ahead and give this one a skip. This one's probably a bit boring for most people, but if you are interested... then onto the post!
Someone mentioned that they hope I have automation for making the site, since it seems like a lot of work. I've done what I can to help this go efficiently, but at the end of the day, I am just doing it by hand. Last time I showed what the code looks like per blinkie, which is this:
<a href="" target="_BLANK">
<img src="" alt="" title="Credit: . ID: """></a>
<!--Categories: -->
<!--Screencap: -->
That is the actual code I use. I copy and paste this every time, then enter in the details. I'm not sure that counts much as automation, but at least I'm not out here typing that over and over. This is an example of what a blinkie looks like coded in:
<a href="https://web.archive.org/web/20030406002318/http://mywebpage.netscape.com/antikao/pinkieblinkiepage1.html" target="_BLANK">
<img src="https://lonelycoconut.neocities.org/blinkie%20site/pink%20blinkies/Calvin%20%20%20Hobbes.gif" alt="Calvin + Hobbes" title="Credit: Pinky Blinkies. ID: "Calvin + Hobbes""></a>
<!--Categories: Pinky Blinkies, pink/, cartoons/, comics/, calvin and hobbes/, calvin/, hobbes/, kidcore/, animals/, mammals/, tigers/ -->
<!--Screencap: https://lonelycoconut.neocities.org/blinkie%20site/Screencaps/Pinky%20Blinkies.png -->
That is an actual snippet from the site! First is the link to the creator (and yes, it HAS to be the creator, not a reposter of any kind), and a target="_BLANK" which makes the link open in a new tab. Next is the image link. Each image is named the same as the text on the blinkie. That way, I type what the blinkie says, then copy and paste that to the image name, alt text, and image description (title). Then is the title. If you don't know, a title for an image in HTML is text that appears when you hover your mouse over an image. So, for each hover text (title), it says the name of the creator, then a caption of the blinkie's text (since they're often hard to read). After that is </a>, which closes the link, making only the image linked to the source.
After the link and image, there are the comments. In HTML, a comment is text that's in the code but doesn't appear or affect the website itself. It's usually just notes to self. The first comment is categories. First I put the creator, then the color category it is sorted in, and lastly every other category it's in. You'll also notice that each category listed has a slash after it. The reason is, when I put a slash after a category, that means it's already added to that category page.
Below that is the screencap. This is an image showing the creator, every blinkie they have made, and their terms if any. Here's this specific screencap if you want to see how that looks. I go in and screenshot all the pages I need, then combine them all in Photoshop, then name it after the creator, upload it to Neocities, and finally add the screencap image link below every blinkie by that creator! And, that's how I fill in the code for a blinkie!
So, yeah, this is definitely a lot. I'm sure I could benefit from more ways to speed up the process, but I don't know much else I can do. It's mostly copy pasting and routine. There are some other things I've done to help though, and that's browser extensions!
One I use is called Download All Images, which as you can assume, downloads all images on a page! You can also specify what kind of images you want to download. What I do is set it to add every gif that is 150x20 pixels (or bigger if I see that there are big blinkies on the page).
I also use GifsOnTumblr. If you've ever tried downloading gifs on Tumblr, you'd know Tumblr is a little weird about it. It always saves as a gifv, so you have to open the image link, then change the end of the link from gifv to just gif, click enter, THEN it downloads as a gif. It's not that hard, but let me tell you, now that I have an extension that makes it download as a gif immediately, it saves more time than you'd think!
That's about all I've figured out as far as maximizing efficiency here goes. If anyone else has any advice/ideas, I'd love to hear it! I've been at this since October (give or take, I'm not 100% on that), and as for the workflow, I'm wondering a bit how long it will take before all the blinkies I have are online. It seems like years for sure, but I think I can handle it if I'm slow when I need to be. As in, if I'm tired then I'll stop. I'm not going to treat it as something I HAVE to do, because then I'll burnout most definitely. I'm being chill about it. Especially since I'm currently on break from another huge project, believe it or not.
Just a few months ago, I burnt out from my other project, which is an animated music video I've been animating for almost two years (in which I initially planned out in 2020, started it in 2021, burnt out, cancelled it, then decided to try again and start it all over in 2023 and since). My point is, I'm very ambitious, often to a fault. I'm a workaholic. (I'm also ADHD, so I think being a workaholic is me overcompensating for it, at least partially.)
Because of that, I'm going out of my way not to take this too seriously. It's a passion project, and if it's not fun, then it's not a passion project, then what am I doing it for? Even so, my ambition cannot be held back! When I get excited on a project, I grind like crazy. I'm not scared by the idea of something taking a long time. I want to do this. I'm happy I'm doing this. I'm not going to pretend it's not a lot of work, but working is what I do! It's how I'm built. When I don't work, I feel like I start to loose it. It's not a matter of IF I work, it's a matter of WHAT I work on (and the intensity).
So, despite the somewhat daunting nature of such a big project, it makes me happy, and if it stops making me happy, then I'll stop doing it. It's as simple as that. That's about my feelings on the workload side of this. I can handle it, and if I'm wrong and I can't handle it, then that's okay too. But if anyone has any advice or ideas on how to make this process faster and/or easier, I'm more than open to hear it! (But don't give me ergonomics advice. I promise you I do every ergonomic thing in the book lol.)

Okay so there's this Sonic Plurality meme going around
[IMAGE ID: Shadow and Sonic are standing side by side. Shadow says, "I have multiple personality disorder." and Sonic responds with, "Dayum!! Any of them freaky???" /END ID]
I'd seen it a few times across platforms but during one I stumbled upon an interesting response:
[IMAGE ID: I don't see anything to enjoy about this actually? Like I'm so confused. There have been no hints in the games and/or shows for Shadow to have DID (and losing memory is not the same at all, on the one hand it's trying to find out who you were, and on the other hand with DID it's literally different people living in the same body), so this is at best just something random that isn't funny, and at worst a poor attempt at a joke which both mocks people with such a serious condition and mischaracterizes Shadow. Then, the joke could reside in Sonic's answer, but considering the severity of DID, it would be pretty weird. And that's not even taking in account just how far from canon that answer is. I don't get it. I'm pretty sure there could have been many other explicit jokes to make that would have actually been funny, whereas this is just poorly thought-out. Plainly spoken, if Insta had a dislike button, you can pretty much guess what I'd use it for /END ID]
I will not be diving into the cesspool that could be created by creating a post in response to the claim that "this meme mocks DID people." So, instead I'm going to give my thoughts on the claim that thinking Shadow has characteristics of DID is mischaracterizing him might actually be an interpretation and not entirely a fact!
First of all, as stated by this person, Plurality is, in fact--in the most plainest and broadest of terms--multiple people living in one body! Shadow is partially alien since Dr. Robotnik used Black Doom's DNA to create Shadow The Hedgehog in a lab. Black Doom is part of an alien race in which one of their abilities is a collective hive mind!
A hive mind is, "a unified consciousness or intelligence formed by a number of alien individuals, the resulting consciousness typically exerting control over its constituent members." To simplify it means that a bunch of beings share one single consciousness, mind, and it can be shared between members in differing ways.
This is a characteristic of plurality! A lot of plural systems share a consciousness, thoughts, emotions, and ways of living. In some systems there are also "leaders" or types of headmates who are the main head of the collective. This would reflect Black Doom and his position of power within the hive mind and how it affects Shadow.
Outside of the similarities between the two there is also the biological aspect of plurality in play here. Shadow most likely has the genes for hive-mindedness, meaning he has the ability to share a mind with others, AKA a possibility for natural-born plurality. Which, differs from experience to experience!
Secondly, Shadow went through extreme trauma during his time on the ARK and on Earth. Disordered Plurality and Truamagenic Plurality share characteristics for their plurality being affected or formed by trauma within or outside the system. It is possible that he could have formed a type of plurality just from that experience alone, especially in combination of his natural alien genes. In a sense, he was never meant to be alone within his own mind.
Thirdly, he is a creature of chaos energy which is different and works in a hell of a lot of ways across media. So let's make a list real quick:
Chaos Emerald Energy
Manifest peoples' thoughts as power
Appliable to all living things
Can be channeled as a tangible energy
Feelings unleash energy and interact with the wielder differently
Can bend and affect reality (slowing time, warping, reshaping, travel through time and dimensions)
Temporarily enhance a user's innate talents
Channeled into Chaos Powers
Super transformations
2. Chaos energy (Archie)
Natural Liquid Chaos energy
Ability to track chaos energy
3. Chaos energy (Pre-Super Genesis Wave)
Derived from Chaos Force
Shadow and Knuckles are the only two known to harness Raw Chaos Energy
There is a possibility to harness even greater amounts of it
4. Chaos energy (Sonic X)
Emerald Chaos energy is needed to create rings
In summary, Shadow being a being made of literal chaos energy in such amounts can mean he has the possibility of each and every one of these known Chaos Energy Abilities.
Plurality can involve the formation and creation of headmates or introjects, a kind of headmate formed from something or somewhere else than within the system. Having the possible ability to interact with reality, harness raw chaos energy that others cannot, and create things based on feelings mixed with alien genes and trauma would be a pretty incredible mix for plurality. Not only that but, as you can see, it heavily ties to his own history and biology to be plural in some form or another.
Plus, is it really far off if Shadow had headmates? Many people theorize that he may not be the original after he met android versions of himself or a clone (I can never remember). Plus, his differences between Sonic Adventure, Shadow the Hedgehog, and other games (if we're to place them all within the same timeline) would explain why he acts, thinks, or shows different characteristics that some people believe "do not line up."
All in all, Plural Shadow truthers deserve to have fun and anyone who does or doesn't enjoy the meme that started this post is valid to have their own opinion. Just as it is to have different interpretations about Shadow and his form(s) of plurality!!!

Ms. Lastnamera, a PC i made forever ago for a campaign that ended up never happening due to scheduling issues :/ i got into a discussion yesterday abt why her old design was kind of bland (The discussion was me one-sidedly explaining all of the shortcomings of her design to a group of my friends who think she’s cute and like her as she is already and were unconvinced by my arguments as to why her design was not strong enough) and i figured i might as well give her an update.
i like the idea of an inscribed character whose epithet is also a common term of endearment, and who technically uses the common definition of their epithet, but who leans much more into the pet-name connotations with their design and personality. Ms. Lastnamera can probably freely summon, like, those little palm-sized pumpkins you get for your window sills, and maybe she can concentrate extra hard to summon a regular sized pumpkin, but her epithet manifests mostly in what i like to call Weaponized Mousiness. She just has that vibe where you want to hold the door open for her and say ladies first, or offer to carry her bags for her. don’t do it though. it’s a trap. i’m so serious. ID under the read more!
[image ID: a rough concept of a character design sheet of OP’s original character, Ms. Darling Lastnamera. The page features two fully lined and flat colored drawings of her, plus several rough concept sketches, other reference images, and interspersed text. The character is a white woman with a 1960s mod fashion aesthetic. She has red hair in a short, round bob with a tuft of hair at the top resembling a pumpkin stem. She also has freckles, and emphatically large green eyes. Her outfit is mostly green in contrast to her red hair. She’s sporting a matching two-piece vest and miniskirt combo in medium green, with a puffy sleeved blouse underneath that has a lime green screentone pattern. Her blouse has an attached neckerchief with a small, stylized pumpkin flower pinning it to her collar. Her outfit is completed with pantyhose, brown leather loafers, and round owl-eyed glasses. She has a gold pen behind one ear. Her old design, featured in the corner, has her in more of an 80s power-suit aesthetic, with duller greens making up her palette. beside the concept sketches, OP includes a gallery of character inspiration images- Annie Edison and Frankie Dart from community, Caroline from Portal 2, Ms Pauling from TF2, Yoomtah from Epithet Erased, Joan Cusack’s character in School of Rock, and Peggy Olson from Mad Men- and below the concept art there is a meme of the roger hargreaves little miss sunshine character edited to look like OP’s character with the title changed to LITTLE MISS INFIDELITY. Notable text on the page reads “Ms. Darling Lastnamera, she/her, 26, 5’4”, voice claim: sarah stiles, stamina 2, proficiency 3, creativity 2, animal: cowbird, favorite food: thinks coffee is an appropriate answer to this question.” at the top of the page, factoids about the character are listed as “workaholic. extremely high-strung type-A. has a degree in journalism. does not work in journalism. low-key does not have a moral compass. she and howie honeyglow would probably try to kill each other. do not offer to help her carry these.” with the last factoid positioned next to an image of her carrying a large stack of papers. OP’s art style is comparable to a comic book or old school disney animation with the way it stylizes human proportions. end ID]

It’s barely noon.
Daniel has only been back in Monaco for a handful of hours, burnt out from flying commercial and dressed obnoxiously in bright orange, and still, he’s here.
He pulls up Max’s text one more time and stares sceptically at the building in front of him. But he’s in the right spot, the tiny guy on the map right on top of the address Max had sent.
The lady behind the reception desk looks up when he enters, a polite smile on her lips as she comes forward to greet him, “Bonjour monsieur, comment ca va?”
Daniel’s been here for too long for his French to be as bad as it is, stutters out a, “Ca va bien,” before he switches to English. “Uh, I’m here for my cats?”
“Certainly,” she says, her accent even less pronounced than Charles’. She goes back behind the desk, points out the small bevvy station on her way there. Daniel’s been in formula one for over ten years, has lived in Monaco for most of that, but this fucking cat hotel may still be the fanciest shit he’s been to. “May I ask what cats you are here for?”
Daniel jiggles the handle of the coffeemaker, watches what he hopes is coffee drip into the branded to-go cup. “Uh, Jimmy and Sassy? They’re like, Bengals, with the stripes and shit? If you have two cats that look the same, I reckon it’s probably them,” he says, searches and fails to locate a lid.
The lady coughs, and Daniel decisively doesn’t look at her, cannot – knows she has to be laughing at him. Fucking, disaster step-cat dad that he is; Max would already have them loaded up in the car and be on his way.
“The cats are registered with internal ID numbers, monsieur. I cannot tell you if we have your cats otherwise, my apologies,” she tells him, not unkind.
“Right, yeah. Let me get those for you then,” he says, chuckles. He scrolls back to the cursed message that had started it all, rattles off the IDs for both cats to the lady’s mild surprise.
‘you of course don’t have to, but always the cats like it better when they can be at home.’ He reads back now, wishes he had never ventured into the world of cat sitting and long-term pet boarding.
“I will have someone come out with your cats right away, monsieur Verstappen,” she says, taps away at the computer for a moment before the printer starts to spit out a stack of papers. “If I can just have you sign here, you will be all set.”
Daniel swallows down half of the coffee, scrapes his teeth over his tongue to mask the burn. “’course, I’m not Max, though. Just for filing purposes, I guess.” He says, scribbles his signature on the dotted line. It’s the same fucking signature that he would do on a hat or whatever the fans put in front of him, and it shouldn’t make him feel embarrassed, but it does. “My name’s Daniel. Ricciardo, I should be on the list though.”
The lady smiles, licks her finger to flick a page. “Certainly, monsieur Ricciardo.”
A man in his early twenties comes out, a cat carrier in each arm. He puts the cats on the desk and rattles off a report of their stay these past weeks, the meals they had, how they behaved, their moods.
Daniel tries to listen, makes himself remember enough that Max will be satisfied even if they didn’t also send out an update by mail every three days. The guy doesn’t stop talking, so Daniel nods along, pokes his finger through the grid and watches Sassy swat at it; Jimmy who gives him a polite lick.
Even if their names weren’t printed on the carrier, this would give them away. That at least he knows.
“Great, yeah. Thanks mate,” Daniel says and moves them down to rest by his feet. “Do I need to pay something, or will we get an invoice, or like?”
“Monsieur Verstappen has an account with us, so there is no need for that. He will be notified by mail. But I can offer you a receipt?” She says, and even she sounds unsure about the offer.
“Yeah, that would be good, cheers.”
The printer makes another noise, and one of the cats meows in response, the other quick to echo. She hands it over with a smile, and Daniel stuffs it into his pocket with a quick ‘thanks’ and picks up his cats to leave.
He’s lying on the couch later, Jimmy on his chest and Max’s latest voice message playing over the phone when he finally pulls out the receipt.
“You’re such a fucking spoilt cat, Jims.” He says, kisses his head.
Jimmy meows softly, bumps his chin with his head, so Daniel kisses him again, watches his tail flick in the air.
Yeah, alright, he thinks, maybe they do deserve it.

Kingdoms and Empires Wiki Drop!
Sup guys, im releasing what i have done in the wiki today! In this post im only going to talk about the Wiki because I dont want to create an even more massive wall of text here than it already is. Please see the entire post on the forums thread!!! I solidified the lore (which means no more massive changes), set the foundations to the story (so i dont end up writing a shit ton and having to fucking rewrite everything anymore), and pretty much rewrote the canon lore until i reached a point where i literally cannot share it because itd be spoilers without the future rewrite (regarding the worldbuilding, all introduced characters and such are still the same, some just had minor tweeks, so nothing crazy like changing our old bodyguard Mary:
and turning her into our childhood friend lmao So the plan now is current wiki drop. A good amount of it will be hidden since alot of it is spoilers, so you get 39,174 thousand words of unlocked content out of about 50k words in the wiki. And that's without me transferring 90% of the Codex ingame to the wiki, so its ALL (okay like 85%) new words of content and lore! Dont worry, im dropping literally all extra work and focusing purely on playable updates now until i regain your guy's trust in me after being so radio silent.
I also know and recognize that this has gotta be annoying asf since what you guys really want is updates but after what happened with the Total War franchise (my beloved) and their lightning fast content pipeline and lack of upgrading their engine ended up destroying the health of the company and ruining fans trust in em, id rather invest on the long term than short term unlike them (meaning id rather have a set story, narrative line complete, and research resources so that i can use that to run wild in writing).
I made a history of the world as known to them, so much of it is subject to embellishment, lies, and "the victor writes history" trope.
Historia Mundis
If you'd rather just have the list of articles that can be found within the timeline though, here it is: The Great Disturbances, Wars of Unification, and the Longwei Empire
Reign of the Daishu Dynasty
Ecumenical Dominion and the Flight of the Belthean People.
Belthean Migrations
Reign of Emperor Garland
Reign of Emperor Daerin I
Reign of Emperor Valerion
Reign of Emperor Elric I
Reign of Emperor Cenric
Reign of Emperor Saldwin
Reign of Emperor Elric II
Reign of Emperor Daerin II
The Interactive Outdated Map Yeahhh almost as soon as i published the map for the patreons it became outdated lmaoooo Nareth is much bigger than originally imagined, Argent is surrounded by mountain and forest tribes (think Hispania’s Lusitanian Wars or the Germanic Tribes type of vibe). The empire (being Imperial Chinese and Persian Empire inspired) also is surrounded by the these tribes, and the Imperial Province of Lymark is now the “Protectorate of the Western Regions” which basically means theyre the watchdogs of Western Nareth. Its funny because theyre also across the St. Hytera River, which is much like the Danube River, and will inevitably face the same issues Rome did with Dacia when they had a presence that extended the natural borders.
Master List of Articles
The Evolution of Belthean Civilization
Veldora Duchy I may have gone too far here. I regret nothing and learning about agriculture and stuff was awesome.
Silverhill Duchy Mining is alot more complicated than I thought, though Engineering MC is gonna have equally alot to improve!
Imperial Ranks The ranks will have importance. I know that sounds weird, but I did not spend an afternoon writing this just for the lulz.
Emperor/Empress
Imperial Crown Heir
Imperial Prince and Princess
Imperial Duke/Duchess
Imperial Count/Countess
The Imperial Landed Knight
The Belthean Empire The biggest entry from the ingame Codex that I transferred over and polished. This should give you a hint of how ill do the other kingdoms in the future for their article.
Kin of Arava I experimented here and instead of making an actual article, made it a class lecture of a series of days focusing on the Kin with a racist professor lmao
Zera Arava So i had to do this in intervals as I was writing and plotting out his side stories. Honestly hope i did the homie justice, he's a fav of mine, though i think each of the ROs will be favs as I write more and more about them.
Sacred Dance I assure you the Sacred Dance isnt what you think it is.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Patreons, you guys already read the below list. However ive cleaned the articles up and polished them! The Genesis of the Belthean Empire: From Invasion to Unification
Voryn Resdayn I wanted to see how i could make a character entry. It looks awesome, but holy fuck do they take time to create lmaooo, ill make the rest of them in the future.
Kin of Arava

So…I guess in basketball or futbol terms… rebuilding phase is over, and i got all the players i need for a championship run!
It was an almost year long rebuilding phase, true, but omg it was so needed.
Plus I also learned alot of fucking coding at the same time lmao. Basically a lot of tweaking around with Choicescript and knowing how to code some actions. Also there's CoG implementing a new checkpoint system so thank fuck for that because this game's gonna be huge and id hate to play it without a save system.

Top 5 Alec Benjamin songs?
AAAAAAAAAAAA OKAY SO YOU DIDNT ASK FOR IT BUT IM EXPLAINING THE REASON FOR EACH ONE TOO
5. water fountain - back when i was online during covid i had a best friend who LOVED alec benjamin. shes technically the first person to introduce me to him and this was her favorite song. i only actually started listening to him because i remembered how she'd talked abt him and thought i might give the music a try. we're not in touch anymore unfortunately but its still incredibly dear to me <3
4. outrunning karma - i associate this with one of my hyperfixations and the song kills me EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. i dont have much to say abt it other than. yes.
3. the arsonist - this one was so hard bc all of the 12 notes album is godly but this one really resonates with me as a person and i can also connect it to my hyperfixation dude so its good for all moods. its also really deep in my opinion like? it really makes you see yourself from another perspective idk like i guess it helps me come to terms with all the things i might have done wrong and actually understand myself instead of blaming someone else.
2. if i killed someone for you (tied with boy in the bubble I CANT CHOOSE) because i associate them with that same hyperfixation dude (can you tell im obsessed with him) and i want to scream and cry and through up every time i hear it because the amt of emotion it has is AUAUAUAGAHA. theyre genuine stories and theyre like. ouch. like. ouch. i dont know. the beat is really solid and when im crying or having a breakdown then the previous is always what i put on, while if im just in a sour mood its the latter. id go into the music theory depths of it too like how the keys and rhythm correlate to certain moods i have and how they manage to fit into the different vibes perfectly BUT im lazy so just take my word for it ykyk.
1. the plan - this is so hard i cant even choose what the actual hell. i guess ill settle for this one but i dont even know. i think i love this one because its for everything. its kind of sad, its kind of happy, its kind of vague, and it can be used in so many situations- its just a mood booster i guess. if i dont want to think about anything it has a rhythm that can just ground me, and if i do then its lyrics are genuinely so peaceful. its a bit softer than most of the others but isnt quite like a lullaby, and its chorus is soo mind scratching usghusghjsgs. i dont get tired of this one easily at all
-
honorary mentions that i must talk about because they deserve to be known as well:
by now ("blue song on my red guitar, raindrops on my brand new car" gets me EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. i swear im not okay i love this song so much.)
if shakespeare were here (ITS SO GODDAMN GOOD. I HATE THAT I CANT PUT THIS HIGHER ?? but it also clearly shows how good all the other songs are bc i actually adore this song so much)
older (had a phase where i listened to this song on repeat and the only reason it isnt way higher is bc ive listening to it sooo many times. also hyperfixation dude)
in a little (the pitch is absolutely lovely. i will be playing this at my nonexistent wedding)
love the ones who leave (i vibe with this one a lot + its on all my playlists. also hyperfixation dude. as you can see i rlly like the new album lol literally all of its songs are here).
-
and the songs that i love but VERY sadly dont quite make this list: paper crown, must have been the wind, let me down slowly, dopamine addict, king size bed, different kind of beautiful, i'm not a cynic, jesus in la, the way you felt, match in the rain, shadow of mine, oh my god, demons, mind is a prison, hammers, devil doesn't bargain, deniro, sacrifice tomorrow, i build a friend, six feet apart
and the ones that i love so much but dont quite make the above list: alamo, book of you & i, 1994, death of a hero, gotta be a reason, swim, annabelle's homework, if we have each other, speakers
-
TO BE CLEAR I DID NOT JUST LIST ALL HIS SONGS- THERE ARE A FEW NOT ON THIS LIST LMAO. but i love all the songs not here as well these are just my favorite favorites.
#alec benjamin#this is what happens when you ask me stuff like this#i go off the rails#im sorry can you tell hes my comfort artist#if anyones curious the hyperfixation dude is theo raeken like 80% of alec benjamin songs remind me of him
