#if I've made anyone uncomfortable with the things I've been posting the last few days that was in fact the point and fully intended#and I don't say that to be cruel but simply to drive home the point that fandom spaces can be both safe and hostile at the same time#it is a deeply uncomfortable thing to acknowledge and I know most people do no want to deal with that and I understand that truly#but it was important to me to acknowledge and to give my opinion so that's what I did#At the same time none of this changes my opinion on my ship or the fact that I love a certain character other people find problematic#and I am fine with people finding that problematic because I am human being I am problematic by default#and I am confident enough in myself as a person to know when to acknowledge when I've contributed to problematic behavior#and realize the world doesn't end when this happens#my opinion of the fandom I've made my home in hasn't changed either#I had these views before and now they're out there in the open messy wording and all#and if you've decided that changes your opinion of me for the worse that's fine you can unfollow block etc#I understand that even in my attempt to acknowledge hurt within my fandom I've probably hurt other people and I have made my peace with it#but for everyone else that's shown me support both on tumblr and in private#for everyone that's listened to me vent about this subject over DMs and validated my hurt feelings#instead of trying to press your own discomforts onto me to carry in addition to my own#thank you#I've carved a permanent space in my heart for you and I truly mean that#I waded into this mess fully expecting to be ignored at best and to lose connections at worst and I was fully okay with it#but the love I've gotten and the deep honest and vulnerable conversations I've had over the last few days has truly been astounding to me#this last part is taking me AGES to write#because I'm actually crying thinking about all the good that's come out of this#and I acknowledge that's not a universal opinion and that's fine I'm really only speaking to my personal experience with what's happened#which despite outward appearances has been incredibly cathartic and uplifting for me#and I don't need everyone in the fandom to share my views or validate me or tell me I'm right people are allowed to disagree#I also don't need to have a deep personal and honest connection with everyone in the fandom where I can share my deepest vulnerabilities#but the fact that I could have that connection with some of you? that's enough for me. it's everything to me.

Do you know this artist? Have you seen her art around?
Tumblr media
Do you support this artist? Don't!
She's a homophobe and transphobe and I don't know why this isn't a more know thing! I haven't seen many people talk about this and I found this out just yesterday!
Cw for homophobia and transphobia in the screenshots
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Please do not give bigots like this a platform. If you like and follow her just unfollow or straight up block her.
I reblogged a bunch of her art multiple times and only yesterday did someone alert me to the fact that she is not a good person.
Genuinely don't know why there isn't more people talking about this! Her art gets plenty of notes and I think it's gross that this fandom, which to me seems very diverse when it comes to lgbtqia+ folks, still supports her and that she specifically has it in her bio that she will not talk politics.
queer peoples identities shouldn't be political and it's making me so mad that she's making her bigotry so secretive and that so many queer people like her because they don't know about this.
@/Bantaro-bird is her blog.
I'm putting this in the main tags because i feel like not enough people know about this and I think it's important

genuine question coming from someone who is trying their best to support palestine but can't stomach condoning hamas's actions. how can you justify the murder of civilians and sexual violence that happened on october 7th? i know the fight for palestinian liberation is more important but they said orders to rape israeli women came from higher up in hamas. how can we support these people?
I will not be debating people in the notes of this post or in followup asks. I am not an authority on this subject, I am an individual giving commentary as I see it.
Do not attempt to follow this discourse up with intent to own me. You will waste your time and look stupid, I promise. Just unfollow and block me.
If your intent is genuine, and you are sincerely confused, then I will tell you that the first thing you must do is understand that your perspective of what happened on October 7th was not your own. It was made by a committee of communications officials and sold to you by news organizations to implant within you a version of what happened so that you would feel this precise feeling of hesitation, discomfort, and desire to withdraw yourself from the discussion. And that version is often full of blatant, contradictory, and easily fact-checkable lies. Israel knows that it doesn't have to make everyone support its cause to get away with it: if they can make enough people look away while they commit genocide, this too is a victory.
The sexual violence against Israeli women by Hamas has been vastly unsubstantiated, especially in comparison to the verifiable claims of IDF soldiers using sexual violence against Palestinian women. Go to any news articles and you will see "Claims of [number] of Israeli women raped by Hamas". You don't see firsthand reports, and you don't see consistent numbers, just people speaking for this group of unnamed and uncounted women. Further, many of the photos and videos of violence happening to women you see typically attached to these articles have turned out to be verified as Israeli soldiers assaulting Palestinian women during previous conflicts.
And that's another important note: previous conflicts. The date on everyone's mind has been October 7th, because that's when Hamas made an attack on the concert. Make no mistake, this was not the beginning of this conflict. And Palestine was not the aggressor.
Tumblr media
Here is a graph of people killed as a result of the ongoing Israeli occupation of Palestine from 2002 to 2014. Notice, if you will, the yellow vs the pale blue. Can you guess which color represents which group? Just kidding you don't have to guess, the graph tells you.
After WW2, the European-Jewish population (which was 90% of the Jewish population at the time) emigrated to their holy land after over 1000 years. This land, now Palestine, had been under control by Muslim kingdoms since around 640 AD. The UN created a proposition following the Holocaust, submitted to create 2 states within Palestine: 54% would go to the Jewish population, and 46% would go to the Arab population. The Palestinian representatives rejected this proposal, but the Jewish representatives agreed, and over the next few years there would be a massive displacement of Muslims during what was called the Nakba; a cataclysmic event that saw 700,000 Palestinians (80% of them) displaced from the territory that the Israeli occupying force had claimed.
Since then there has been an ongoing pushing and cleansing of Palestinians over time. The remaining land that was not stolen during the 1948 mandate has been shrinking as Israel tightens its grip on the land and the people, exerting the force given to it by the United States to completely absorb the area. The process of which has been torturous and extraordinarily traumatic on the Palestinian population.
Tumblr media
This map represents generations of murder, rape, and torture of Palestinians. A people who had their land forcefully taken from them, and have been made to be unwilling neighbors with their aggressors ever since. There are countless articles of IDF soldiers and Israeli citizens alike abusing Palestinians. Stealing their homes, starving their children, mocking their faith. This form of violent nationalism is born from Zionism, which was created by secular men, and has existed for less than a single century. The ideals of Zionism can only be seen out with the COMPLETE annihilation of the Palestinian people, something the terroristic Israeli force sees to go through with.
Hamas, at the moment, is fighting for the unconditional freedom of Palestine from their colonizers. We are seeing, in real time, the furious spirit of Palestine resisting what some of the worlds strongest military forces are trying to make to be their final death. In that impossible fight, they are seeing victories in urban warfare, and extreme coordination in guerilla tactics that we haven't seen since the Vietnam war. And during all of that, it has still been verifiably reported that they've been treating hostages well, many of them speaking positively about their time in captivity and expressing extreme dissatisfaction with Netanyahu's cabinet, something reflected in the staggering lack of direct interviews with hostages released.
Let's not mince words here, Hamas is absolutely killing people. Hamas is killing as many IDF soldiers as they possibly can, and yes, even some Israeli civilians have died. While it's true that these number significantly fewer than Palestinian civilian casualties, I'm not bold as to claim that that is not horrible. But this too is the fault of purposeful abuse of civilian population centers by the Israeli government. Ask yourself for a moment:
Why would Israel, being so aware of the horrifying whims of the savage Palestinians, allow a massive open-air concert to happen DIRECTLY on an unpatrolled border between Israel and Palestine? Why too does Israel insist on housing Civilian populations as close to Palestine as possible? They've already showed us: the military uses the deaths of their civilians as warrant to punish Palestinians in any way and to any extent they see fit.
Even if we're discounting the murderous occupier civilians shooting at Palestinian families and forcing them out of their life-long homes, it's still horrible to see otherwise incidentally innocent Israeli civilians die. Innocent death is inherently horrible. But even in a world where what happened on October 7th didn't happen, Israel intended to ensure the death, innocent or not, of all Palestinians who resist giving up their land. Hamas, Palestinian resistance groups, and now other Arab states have chosen to fight against this. Millions of people around the globe have chosen to unite and fight for them for this reason as well. It is why I support Palestine.
When a society lets mass atrocities happen in slow motion over decades, those atrocities become normal. And when those experiencing these atrocities fight back with economical blows of violence, it becomes a shocking disruption to the normal for those who haven't been paying attention, or were born into it; something the west relies on, and has packaged and sold as "terrorism" in the past few decades.
The modern Zionistic body of Israel has been a terroristic, murderous entity since its inception less than 100 years ago.
Do not let yourself be swayed into believing that murder, if done slowly enough, is not murder.

Said this in the tags of a reblog but I want everyone to ask this too
Why is Israel killing children specifically? Out of all the videos, images, journals, its mostly children being killed. Children. Most no older than 8 or 9 years.
Children. Babies.
If infants and children matter SO much to the world, why aren't we enraged about this? Why do ppl rage about abortions or child abuse but they turn a blind eye on children being killed in genocides and wars?
It's just a strange pattern I've noticed. Yes, Israel is targeting every Palestinian ever in existence, hell probably targeting fictional Palestinians too, but there's been a weird obsession with Palestinian children as of late....
If you support Israel, unfollow me right fucking now. Better yet, speak up so I can block you personally. I don't give a fuck if you're a resident or not, I will never tolerate a government who seeks death on a whole fucking race just because they came from the same ancestors. Literal Cain and Abel type shit. If Israel's own CITIZENS refuse support on THEIR OWN GOVERNMENT, you should too. Jewish NEVER equates to Zionism. Judaism NEVER equates to genocide.
"Waaahh ur antisemitic becuz--!!!" Shut your white American ass up bitch. Jewish people ARE NOT their government. Jewish people ARE NOT inherently Zionists. In fact, Jewish don't inherently mean religiously, it could mean regionally. I do not hate the Jewish population, I hate the Zionist population. Zionists at this point are almost on par as nazism, just in a different flavor. I am against ethnic cleansing in the name of Zionism, not Jewish people.
Fuck Israel, free Palestine. Save the fucking children.

Please don't become desensitized about Palestine. People are giving us their last words, begging that if they get wiped out we spread the word about them to future generations. Please don't let that happen and do not take neutral stand about it. Neutral is as good as supporting the genocide.
Please continue on supporting Palestine and their people, remember that they are not numbers or another statistic. They are people. People who have dreams, desires, families, lovers, children, pets, hobbies, favorite food, shows, colors, something to look forward to and something to live for. They have a life - just like all of us. This is not just a tragedy, this is something we can help to prevent from happening more and taking even more lives.
One difference in number is one whole life coming to an end. It could be a life of a baby, a child, a man, a woman, a person who should have the right to experience life. It's a person who is someone's family, sister, brother, father, mother, wife, husband, grandparent, lover, friend. Please do not become desensitized. Please be angry, be sad, be hopeful for them. Just don't give up or turn the blind eye because you think there is nothing you can do. Sharing the word means so much, they don't have a voice right now. They didn't have a proper voice for years, so please, be their voice. It's not "just another war", it's a genocide.
People are taking their last breath as I type this. It's sad. It's awful to think about, but please think about it. Remember it. Don't choose silence because it's more convenient.
Be aware of who you support. These are people/celebrities who support Israel.
What can you do besides reading news about Gaza
Another link that you can use to educate yourself
If you want to see videos & photos of Palestine and the people as well as what's happening to them
I reblogged these, but more links for education, donations, etc. in case you didn't see!! -> here :) and here :)

just imagine having to accept that your life is FORCEFULLY coming to an end by an exterior force and there is nothing you can do about it. You have no choice, but to hope that others will get free and live a life you couldn't. To be helpless, fearful, tortured and killed. Be their voice, support them, please.

If you think joking about wanting any driver to crash or die is in any form funny or okay, unfollow and block me. Some of you are so disconnected from reality it's concerning.
Do you know how many drivers have lost their lives in this sport? How many have received life altering injuries? How many have buried friends, even family due to horrific crashes? F1 has made a lot of headway in terms of safety but never take that for granted. You do not want to be there or be watching the day it goes wrong because all it takes is one horrific crash. You sure as hell don't want to be joking about it when it goes horrifically wrong in the worst possible way.
Jim Clark, Bruce McLaren, Jules Bianchi, Anthoine Hubert, Jochen Rindt, Francois Cevert, Gilles Villeneuve, Aryton Senna, Roland Ratzenberger are just some of the names that immediately pop into my head when I think about the amount of drivers whose lives were cut tragically short due to horrific crashes. There's many more. I think of the drivers who received life altering injuries like Niki Lauda and Robert Kubica.
It's not just in motorsports, many people on here, myself included, have been affected by horrific crashes. Trust me when I say you don't ever want to experience any of it. I wouldn't wish what I've been through, what my family has been through, on my worst fucking enemy let alone a fucking F1 driver I don't even know.
I don't give a fuck who you support or who you don't, it's not ok full stop. It's beyond disgusting. But driver x did y which I didn't like, well I don't give a flying fuck. If they jumped off a cliff, would you? You feel they're a bad person based on your perception of them? Then why lower or degrade yourself to what you feel is their low standards? You have no right to claim the moral high ground if you do shit like this.
Do better.
I loved this sport my whole life and I probably always will but god do I miss the days where this shit wasn't so prevalent.

Hi new followers, I'm a nonbinary trans person who had top surgery and supports the transmasc community, I like to make vore jokes and write vorefic, I'm obsessed with 4 specific characters from Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of the New World (and ship them in every single configuration including the ~problematic~ ones like selfcest), I don't believe what you enjoy in fiction dictates your morals so accusing people of sex crimes because they like cartoon porn makes you an ignorant loser (yes this includes the really fucked up cartoon porn), I don't think minors should be allowed to use their age as a get out of consequences free card when they're being abusive shitheads, furries are cool and furry porn is fine yes including feral it doesn't make them sex criminals, I don't think it's acceptable to tell people to kill themselves and no "KYS" isn't just something you say, only shitheads do that. I also like to make omegaverse jokes because omegaverse is a fascinating set of concepts
What else usually is a deal-breaker...
This is a personal blog that has no theme, so I'm not insightful or funny or dedicated to a specific fandom or genre all the time I mostly just spew a bunch of random reblogs from a wide variety of things including spamming them.
I'm bad at tagging due to constant fatigue and not being good at remembering shit so if you need a lot of stuff tagged for filtering not the best place to be
Anyway there's a lot of things that people ultimately find Not For Them about me and how I run my blog so feel free to unfollow and/or block at any point, I don't keep track of who does because it's not my business
Just wanted to give the new followers a vague rundown of things they'd find out eventually so they can decide up front if they wanna stick around or not

Harassing your best artists does not a good fandom make
disclaimer: i won't be naming the two artists who were harassed for obvious reasons, and i won't be naming any of the specific person(s) who did the harassment both because they* don't deserve credit and because i don't want to start a fight with them* but to give a lesson to both them* and people who stood idly by and let it happen.
these two artists are some of my favorite in the fandom. while they're both still somewhat active in the fandom, [artist A] has said they* feel disillusioned with the fandom based on its treatment of them* and, well, i can fucking see why! and while i haven't seen [artist B] comment on the harassment directly, i can imagine they* aren't enthused either.
i've had multiple people in this fandom tell me personally that people have come into their inboxes and told them to unfollow/block A and/or B because they're* "problematic" for reasons including but not limited to "drawing nsfw of the another cast" [as if they aren't fucking confirmed to be adults]
and, to top this layer cake of the disgusting treatment of these two artists, i have literally seen, and i am not the least bit joking here, someone's DNI including the line "if you support [artist A] or [artist B]... DNI, they're gross" the audacity. the fucking nerve. to put two random tumblr/social media users in their* shitty little '~do not interact~' list. two users who have done nothing wrong and whose only crime is drawing fiction
setting aside that harassment is.... you know.... always wrong, all the time. this is not how you build a good fandom. there are other good artists in the fandom. but A and B are my as well as many others' from what i've observed. they do a lot of good in this - and i cannot stress this enough - very small fandom.
if you do not like these artists (or any other artist), say it with me now, block and move on. add their usernames to your "filtered content" list if you absolutely musn't see them*. although the claim i've seen of their* mere mention being horrifically triggering for certain people is... odd, to say the least, and reeks of attempted ostracism, just like the backtalking they* recieved in random people's dms.
and of course it is not just these two artists experiencing bs like this in the fandom but their situation speaks to how such a toxic fandom like ours treats even our best and britest.
conclusion: stop harassing people. that's the bare minimum. perhaps don't mention people by name in your 'dni lists'. and realize building positive community is necessary for this and any other small fandom to thrive.
*they/them/theirs pronouns used exclusively to anonymize the people involved in this story because the identities of the people here is not the point. i'm not trying to use an incorrect pronoun for anyone involved here, just protect their identities.
p.s.: i don't control you, dear readers, but i can at least ask you please don't speculate about the identities of anyone i mentioned in the post. kthx

Okay I promise this is genuine and I don't want to send hate, and if you don't believe it, fair...but why post the works involving minors and nsfw (yes that includes the incest) ? I do believe that you can write whatever you want, and I don't think you're some boggeyman that get his kick of writing about abused kids or whatever bullshit. But there's a difference between writing it and publishing it, and while I think it's unfair your blog was straight up deleted and not flagged, I can also understand why Tumblr did it : I read the ToS, and I don't think they're just for real minors (but it's my personnal interpretation). This type of work (text, art, etc) can be shared with a group of friends or a group of people who're all used to this kind of content, and maybe it would prevent the risk of people stumbling unto texts involving Logan and David for example (happened to me once, oof) and more importantly, Tumblr throwing a fit? You're an amazing artist and while I haven't kept up with your content for a while (I unfollowed when you started posting about incest and non-con against minors sorry, it's a topic I really don't like), I don't want you to keep on being flagged and banned forever.
the simplest answer i have is because it's part of who i am as a creator, and sharing those parts has not just been extremely liberating and cathartic for me, but for others too.
that's one of the most important things to me. it would be different if all i got was hate and not a shred of support or positivity -- if nobody told me that they liked it, that it helped them be more comfortable with themselves and their own work, then i don't know if i would. it's hard to say whether i would just get bogged down by hate and give it up or if it would keep going regardless.
but aside from that, it's the principle. it's the fact that i, as well as similar creators, am not forcing anyone to see this content. i am not posting things uncensored for anyone to stumble upon. i always use very specific warnings, read mores, and links. not once would you encounter a post of mine like that and see anything explicit unless you chose to view it.
and that's the principle i'm fighting for: choice.
this website used to be place where you could pretty much post anything, way before the Naughty Ban, because we understood it was all about personal choice. about curating your own content, blocking tags and blogs you didn't want to see, unfollowing if you had to (which you have EVERY right to do, and don't need to apologize for!). most of us followed online etiquette and those who didn't, again, you can just choose to unfollow or block. not report them just for posting shit you don't like.
the TOS explicitly states real minors. if they wanted to include fictional, they should have stated that. if they wanted to include fictional, they should not only reference the actual crime, but the thought crime of creating things that don't adhere to morals in reality.
personally, i think it's one or two people throwing a fit, but that's just me. i think my content, which is not even posted directly to this site and is by no means being shoved in anyone's face, is the least of this site's problems or concerns.
but anyways, that's why i'm ready to die on this hill. because i've met so many wonderful people from being open about what i post, no matter how disturbing it may be, and because we should all be able to post freely as creators if we're not directly showing anything explicit that could violate TOS.

Have you seen the posts going around saying shit like "If a mutual likes Hazbin Hotel I will block them"?? It's genuinely upsetting me tbh, not just the idea that people don't like the show, but that they despise it so much they can't even stand the thought of someone they know liking the show. It reminds me of the Steven Universe hate train only worse. They also say shit like "the show is just someone saying swear words and expecting you to laugh", and if for a second we put aside the fact that that is blatantly not true, what's wrong with that? I'm allowed to like something that's a bit trash, right? I've already seen two different people I follow reblog posts to that effect (and worse, someone saying all a character boils down to is "i love being sexually abused <3" and i don't know how they ever came to that conclusion) and it's driving me mad. And somehow I just know that they don't actually give a shit about any "controversies" surrounding vivziepop, that's just a convenient excuse for most of them. I don't even care if Vivzie is a bad person, that's none of my business. just live and let live, you know?
Sorry for ranting, you're literally the only blog i follow who posts Hazbin fan content
Rant away, friend! Luckily for me I haven't come across any of those posts yet. Plenty of discourse surrounding whether fans are allowed to make romantic and/or sexual content for Alastor, the expected shipping wars, and - as you say - vague references to Vivzie controversies (which I'm too new a fan to even be aware of yet)... but nothing that's a complete rejection of the show itself. That's probably because I've only engaged with blogs posting a lot of Hazbin content though.
I'm a big fan of old school Internet rules which includes an emphasis on cultivating your own online space. You know, the thing tumblr is explicitly designed for. So in theory I applaud anyone blocking users/tags for a show they're not a fan of. Performatively posting about it more as a way to guilt others for liking Hazbin at all... not so much. If you want to block something just block it. If you're mutuals with someone you both presumably like each others' content. Not all of it necessarily, but enough to have followed in the first place, and often being mutuals for long enough leads to friendship because you're both getting interacting with one another a lot. All of which isn't to say that people don't unfollow mutuals, or that you can't drop a mutual because they've started posting something you dislike. Obviously both situations do happen, but it feels like an extreme enough response that these posters probably aren't actually doing this very often. Most people will wait the mutual out until their interest gets hooked on something new, or block the Hazbin tag and keep the friend, or just block without making a big announcement about it. So posts like that feel more like a way to show off how much you dislike the show and guilt others for their enjoyment which yeah, can be upsetting to see. Especially when, as you say, it costs nothing to just let people like things.
Which might sound hypocritical on my part given my RWBY interests, but I think there's a big difference between critically examining a show while supporting others who genuinely love it, and simplistically blasting it. I COMPLETELY get why Hazbin wouldn't be to everyone's tastes and, like with the SU example, anything that gets popular enough is going to develop its haters (especially cartoons trying to tackle non-childish subjects. That's always going to be a fandom landmine). But if you're going to make claims about a show, at least watch it to ensure you can back up your stance? And if your takeaway is still, "This is the worst fucking thing I've ever watched"... cool. Go forth and write about that on your own, personal blog. But no one should be surprised when they're also blocked for bragging about how many Hazbin fans they've blocked.

I think its come to a point where I have to clarify a few things.
To start with , to everyone who reached out , thank you I am doing ok, I am just busy, I have a lot of work related travel in the next two weeks and I am preparing for my deadlines and dealing with real life . I promise I am fine.
As far as people who have doxxed me and have put my username on display subjecting me to bullying and harassment, the irony of the entire thing is not lost to me .
The fact that Elriels accused me of threatening to subject someone to harassment, when I specifically did not mention any username or individual .... while simultaneously displaying my username not only on several public FB groups which I have SS of, but also in several posts on both Tumblr and Twitter is baffling . Don't they see that they literally did what they accused me of "wanting" to do?
Who is the only one who is being subject to harassment and bullying ? Me and somehow I am the person who is in the wrong here ?
Now , coming to the part of character assassination, this isn't about fictional characters or books anymore , these people have written horrible things about me as a person ... twisted something I said on a post which most certainly wasn't said in a serious manner its dumb to think it was ( How would someone force someone to write an English exam ? The entire thing was exaggerated and ridiculous) and have called me different things varying from a Psychotic bitch to a creepy person aka defamation thereby posing a threat to my emotional and mental well-being.
I have been in this fandom long enough and I have interacted with enough people that it should atleast give most people that I have interacted with a general idea of what I really am like.
I have mostly kept well away from Elriels , I don't engage with them in any manner if I can avoid it and I have gone ahead and blocked as many of them and their tags. So , I clearly have no intention of interacting with them irrespective of whether they are decent people or not , I simply don't see the necessity and its not my preference. This is the reason most of my interactions usually revolve around Gwynriels and they are the only ones I usually address even in my posts.
I am a part of this fandom for myself and I commission art because I like the creative aspect of it and I love interacting and supporting artists. This much everybody knows about me.
The locus of my identity is internal to me and my circle of validation is a total sum of 2 people - My husband and my child.
So for anyone who thinks they can bully me into going away from the fandom by twisting things and saying mean things about me... you are really wrong.
I honestly wasn't feeling right about BB milking the ship war and preying on vulnerable people while also not lending their support to artists who are integral to the fandom... which is why , I literally stated 2 days back that I would be stepping back from the SJM fandom till we have news on the next book.
But .....
If this is the sort of shit people try to pull with me then it's not about BB anymore, My priority now is bullies in the fandom. My priority is people who thought they could manipulate my people against me.....
I HAVE A FEW WEEKS OF WORK THAT NEEDS MY FOCUS BUT COME APRIL 21ST .... I AM COMING BACK ... WITH MORE CONTENT , MORE COLLABS , MORE GWYNRIEL INITIATIVES AND BETTER STRATEGIES AND YES I WILL BE BOOSTING SEVERAL GWYNRIEL ART PIECES ....CRY ME A RIVER
This is to Gywnriels, I will totally respect it if you guys would like to unfollow me based on the propaganda that's been in action by the Elriels. But seeing I have gained 15 followers in the last 2 days I am going to assume you guys truly understand what I am as a person and for that I am thankful and incredibly grateful 🙏. If you guys see posts of people displaying my username please report both the post and the blogger.
Now , I would like to go back to work because irrespective of who Azriel gets to fuck in the next book ... my work is what is important... its what feeds me and pays my bills.

You know just because your best friend turned out to be bisexual doesn't mean show owes you a relationship or she needs to be attracted to you. The way you talk about her gives me the ick, it gives creepy guy who doesn't understand social cues energy. Not even being on the spectrum can excuse such behavior, it's creepy.
okay well not that it's any of your business but I have literally always encouraged her (healthy) relationships with men in the past and am now encouraging her to explore her attraction to other genders. I haven't told her about my feelings because I don't think she would feel the same way (previously because I thought she was straight and now because I don't think she would be attracted to me specifically) and I would never want to say or do anything that makes her (or our other best friend) uncomfortable, especially considering she's had multiple experiences with friends who've hurt her and damaged her relationships with them by blurring the lines between friendship and romance. I have never once said, to her or anyone else, that she "owes" me a relationship or mutual attraction. in fact, before she came out as bi and I suspected that she might be gay (something I never brought up to her or anyone who knows her because I know how harmful it was to me as a closeted person to have other people speculating about my sexuality, no matter how well-meaning they were), I REPEATEDLY said that above all else I wanted her to be happy and fulfilled in her relationships, even if it wasn't with me.
me voicing my own feelings of sadness or inadequacy about a crush who (presumably, because, again, I have chosen to not tell her about this) doesn't feel the same way (on a private blog that she doesn't know about) is NOT me engaging in entitled incel behavior, because I fully recognize that this is a ME problem and it's not her responsibility to fix that, as a romantic partner or even as a friend. I'm not going to apologize for having the good sense to develop feelings for an absolutely wonderful, beautiful, and kind person who deserves nothing but love and support from and for anyone she chooses as a partner, nor am I going to apologize for talking about it, again, ON MY PRIVATE BLOG, where I can say absolutely whatever the fuck I want without unfairly burdening her or anyone else who knows the both of us.
feel free to block or unfollow if it bothers you so much, but frankly I think the fact that you take issue with this, plus your little comments about "creepy guys who don't understand social cues" and "being on the spectrum" suggest to me that you have your own (internalized?) homophobia and ableism to work on before you start offering unsolicited commentary to internet strangers, because, full offense, at the end of the day, you don't know me, you don't know my best friend, and you sure as hell don't know the 10+ years of history we have between us. so thanks for the concern but we're fine actually. delete your tiktok. love and light <3

To defend the previous anon (even though I'm not sure to call it that lol)
I kind of agree with both you and the other anon, if you don't wanna see spam reblogs then you can unfollow, however, one could maybe tag reblogs? "stiff-reblogs" or something, for example. (People that get annoyed or something can block it that way!!!!) (Of course, not gonna force anybody to do anything!!!!)
Also, if people follow an artist, they tend to want to see more of their art and support them, so it'd be a little unfortunate to see someone go due to spam reblogs, especially when they like the art that's being posted.
I hope this helps both sides, please nobody feel offended :'D
tagging the spam reblogs defeats the whole point of spam reblogs: theyre a fast way for me to get my excitement out of my system. i spam reblog if i see something i really like and its supposed to be FAST.
tagging spam reblogs will do absolutely nothing because youll STILL SEE THE SPAM! the way tumblr works is that it still puts the filtered stuff on your dash, it just gives you a warning and a chance to click or not click and see the post! you will still see the spam
just unfollow me and go through my art tag every once in a while if youre here for art. idk.
last thing im saying on this. i have it in my pinned post that i dont wanna hear stuff about my spam reblogs.
also sorry if my response comes off as mean, its not meant to.

.. I don't like riko but I like your... "
You can like my art and treat it separate from the character or even fandom my work does not need to have context
I'm sorry if this sounds ungratefull but it's really not that deep. + I draw for myself everyone else is just along for the ride do you really think I would spend all this time drawing this babygirl if I did this for social media approval
Liking my art does not mean supporting people who commit crimes irl
Liking a character in the book also does not equal to support of people who behave like the character does irl
.. I don't like riko but I like your AU's/works/version of him"
My reading of riko is based on him being exploited victim groomed his whole life and this is what riko is in context of canon book as well but it's uncomfortable for some to think of since it's easier to just see him as one dimensional villian
Just because I draw him looking pretty or in a way that touches viewer does not change it and it just shows that some people's morale are based on someone looking sexy or not
It's okay to not like the character and what they present but you can do this without pretending like what I do with him is somehow better or that much different
If you feel offended or annoyed by this post feel free to block and unfollow stay true to your feelings I expect the following number to get down after this thank you very much
This is just to people who always feel the need to give excuses as to why they like my stuff when talking to me
Its okay calm down

hi foibs, hoping you’re doing well. there’s something i’ve wanted to ask you since burning shores…can you say more about why you weren’t impressed by seyka/seyloy? i’ve valued your hzd opinions for a long time and am curious and interested to learn more about this one. but if you’d rather not answer that’s fine!
Hi nonny!! I told myself I wasn't going to answer any of these, but I really appreciate your kind tone and am happy to address this again for you!
I won't go into a list of specific reasons why here. I do enjoy a good bit of piece-by-piece analysis a LOT but--frankly, picking apart another ship in a public zone like this is not what I want to exemplify on my blog, at all. It's not the kind of environment I'd like to create or discourse I'd like to foster. If those conversations are to be had at all--which, let's face it, they're probably not--they're to be had one on one, with a promise of good faith and open-mindedness between participants.
So to answer your question, I'll give a little more info, but still in generalities.
First and foremost, it's the simple fact that their dynamic, as portrayed in HBS, didn't spark for me! If y'all know me, you know that there is a very specific ship dynamic that I tend to latch onto, and this repeats ad infinitum across fandoms. I just wasn't compelled by the material, which is fine! More power to you if you were, for sure.
That loops into the second reason I'll give: yes, I did find the writing of HBS to be lackluster in many aspects, including the relationship between Aloy and Seyka. The sloppy writing absolutely influenced the way I viewed/reacted to Aloy and Seyka as a ship. To me, it did feel rushed and very much removed from the character and pacing of the series we've known for years. And that was not a boon for connecting with the presented narrative, the same way I began to feel disconnected from HFW. Once again, though, totally subjective and valid if it did hit for you!
I wanted to like Seyka so much more than I did. (This is--as I've shared other posts before--commentary on the writer's room character work, not on Seyka.) I wanted her to oust Alva as my favorite Quen babygirl (A HARD CHALLENGE, I'll admit). I wanted to be compelled by her, and by her dynamic with Aloy. She didn't, and I wasn't. And that's not an attack on Seyka herself, or on folks who enjoyed her. That's my own peeve with the writing and the way she was presented both in the narrative and in the HBS marketing.
If I can also use your ask to be a little vulnerable, nonny? It's been a hard six weeks. I feel like the posts I've put up and the opinions I've offered with regards to this have been nothing less than respectful and pleasant and, in a lot of cases, that grace hasn't been returned. From being blocked/unfollowed/vagued by other Horizon wlw shippers with whom I've built a rapport over the years (which of COURSE it's anyone's right to curate their feeds--still stings on the other side, in this situation especially)--to being directly compared to the Actual Homophobes for supporting the idea of romance options in game three (the same Actual Homophobes sending death and other threats directly to my inboxes)--it's an unfortunate state. I'm doing my best to be positive for the whole fandom, but some days it's harder than others.
In any case--I'll say, contradictorily--there is a Seyloy idea I've been working on, in attempts to connect more with them and sublimate my quibbles with what was presented in canon. So I hope any Seyloy enjoyers who might read it eventually (and this!) will take it in good faith when it's finished, as it's being written in nothing but good faith!
And, FINALLY, because every single time this question comes up, I say "I DON'T DISLIKE SEYKA" out loud in Nadja's voice, and this is the perfect opportunity to finally make the joke in public:
