I had some health issues happen today and I had to face the fact that I'm alone. At least in the ways that matter. My friends all have partners and couldn't drop everything to help me. Not like a romantic partner would.

It was hard because I don't have any friends that value our friendship equally to their romantic relationships. Not like I do.
