People are too harsh on Jaehee route Jumin I fear... I hadn't actually played her route since 2017/18 so while I knew the gist of it I couldn't remember exactly how Jumin behaved in it, but judging by the absolute SLANDER I've seen of his character I expected him to be SO much worse omg

What do you think would be each character’s favorite flavor of cake?

You know what, this is a brilliant question, but I think I'm going to answer it based on vibes rather than trying to break down the semantics of why a character might enjoy a certain flavor over another.

Jaehee

Angel's Food Cake! You thought I was going to say that she would love coffee cake, didn't you? I feel like her favorite kind of dessert is one that is gentle on the tongue. You can't go wrong with fresh fruit and a gentle sponge. I imagine it might take her back to her childhood with her parents and what's better than that? It's nice to have a good memory. I know she makes a lot of different things for her cafe, but for whatever reason, I always think she enjoys the most gentle things.

Zen

Hotteok. Street Pancakes. He just isn't the kind of person who eats a lot of sweets, but I know he loves to visit different vendors because he has a lot of friends who have gotten out of gang life and end up making food for others. I think the closest you can get to him enjoying a suite is something he could pick up from a friend. They can be stuffed with different things, but I think brown sugar and cinnamon might be his go-to! I think they can add nuts too!

Yoosung

Funfetti Cake! I know what you're going to say, I can already hear you, why did I give him the flavor that would make him look like a kid who hasn't tried different things before? Well, I raise you the idea that sometimes people like what they like and it doesn't matter if it seems childish to you, he knows what he likes, and it happens to be sprinkles in his cake batter. You can't go wrong with it at the end of the day.

Jumin

Cheesecake! I just can't see him eating a cake for some reason. That's not to say that he doesn't like them, it's just that when I tried to imagine what he would like to enjoy, I came to the same conclusion. He wants a cheesecake slice and some coffee to go with it. He likes to indulge in the flavor now and again and I think that makes sense for him.

Saeyoung

Red Velvet. Again, I don't know what it is about him, but I feel like he really enjoys cream cheese frosting. The only thing that gets me with this is that in one of the folders that you can purchase from the marketplace, there's a birthday cake with blueberries and strawberries. Which implies to me that he likes blueberries, but there's no other evidence to back that up and there's nothing in the world that says he couldn't put blueberries on any cake so I've decided he's just going to put blueberries on red velvet cake.

Jihyun

Tiramisu! I feel like this makes sense and I don't even need to explain it because the people who get it—will get it and the people who won't—won't. There's just something about him sitting in the back of a cafe with a plate of tiramisu on one side and a scathing 10th grade essay on the other where he's going to argue up and down some sort of pretentious conclusion to an art piece. I'm going to say I support it because he's so goofy, but I can't unsee this.

Saeran

Strawberry Shortcake! The game points this out for me and I don't think I can argue with that. Although, I will say Unknown did have a drawing for his birthday where he had a big Black Forest cake. But, I don't know if that's his favorite, considering that there was a bottle of wine in the picture and I had a bad feeling about who set out a birthday display for him to begin with and why they picked what they picked. In any case, give this man some strawberry shortcake.

Rika

Devil's Food Cake! I didn't pick this because I thought it would be a funny joke. I picked this because she seems like somebody who likes to indulge. She decided she was going to unleash her devil and not let anybody stop her from enjoying herself, no matter what that meant for the people around her who suffered because of it, and tasting a very rich, dense chocolate cake is a representation of that sentiment.

Vanderwood

Carrot Cake! I don't even really have an explanation for this one other than it just feels right. I don't see them as somebody who enjoys a lot of sweets, but if they're going to have something, the most nostalgic thing they could think of would be something from their childhood, and I just think that's carrot cake.

Thank you for your previous work. I was wondering if you could write a headcanon of RFA (excluding Saeyoung, as you have already done him) and Saeran with MC. In this scenario, chaos follows MC everywhere without any logical reason, but REMINER IT DOESN'T HARM MC, ONLY THE PEOPLE AROUND HER. This ability also runs in her family, so if they have a gathering, chaos happens without fail. Additionally, I have a funny scenario in mind where Saeran kidnaps MC to Mint Eye, and as a result, chaos ensues, but MC casually escapes. I search Kofuku and I see some similarities but the idea of MC having this "ability" is actually come from an Disney Show called Milo Murphy's Law

Yoosung

I feel like the poor guy will get rather spooked by this strange ability of yours. He's already prone to getting into some very embarrassing situations without any external force pulling the strings. Do you mean to tell him that he'll have to deal with even more disasters in his daily college life!? It's more humorous than serious, though. He may act a bit startled by it at first, but he's definitely the type to get very curious despite his initial reservations. It baffles him how such a thing could actually happen in reality, and not in fiction. Is it appropriate for him to call you a superhero...? He'll also probably want to try and use this ability of yours for his advantage. Not anything bad... But, hey, maybe, just maybe... you could make his professor miss his bus today? He has no desire whatsoever to study for the philosophy test tomorrow morning.

Zen

Zen is able to take it all in stride. He won't be shocked by this revelation of yours, as he has a few unique abilities himself. It's actually kind of exciting for him to meet someone in a somewhat similar situation to his own. Though, your little quirk is far more chaotic than he would expect. It's a good thing he has supernatural healing powers and prophetic dreams on his side! He will be able to avoid most adversity coming his way, and, even if he does get injured, he will probably be strutting down the street without a fuss after a day or two. He'll also be very fussy about you not blaming yourself for anything. He actually finds your bad luck kind of cute! At any rate, that's what he asserts to you.

Jaehee

To put it simply, she is stumped. Since she's the most logical person in the group, she'll have trouble believing you at first. Not until she encounters the undeniable proof of your ability with her own two eyes. Out of everyone in the RFA, having bad luck following this poor overworked woman will probably make you feel especially bad for her. Much like Yoosung, she'll get rather spooked once she accepts it as reality. I could see her beginning to steer clear of you even. She's already so incredibly stressed... the last thing she needs is even more trouble on her hands. She does mellow out once she sees that you are a genuinely good person, though. She'll even apologize to you for acting rashly with you. It's possible that you and Jaehee could find ways to overcome this cursed quirk of yours.

Jumin

Without a doubt, the most enthralled among all. You might think he'll be the most skeptical one of the bunch, but no. This is a man who has a huge infatuation with the occult we're talking about here. Once he sees actual tangible proof, you have a real annoying observer on your hands. Will ask you dozens and dozens of questions, do his own research in his free time, maybe even ask you to provide him some of your blood samples or something. With your consent, of course. It may become too much to handle for you. But, what you don't need to worry about is Jumin avoiding you or treating you as a threat. He makes it a point to let you know that he will not judge your character based on factors that are out of your control. With his resources, you might even come to learn more about your abilities!

Saeran

He'll be anxious. Much like his brother, but in a more subdued manner. I feel like your constant bad luck would be one of the factors that pushed Ray into choosing you, believe it or not. He can relate to bad things happening around you, while all you can do is watch helplessly. He will also take the effects of your bad luck in stride. Almost to a fault. You'll have to remind him to please take care of himself and not put himself in harm's way because of you. Suit Saeran, on the other hand, will curse you and your ability. He'll definitely think that you are doing it on purpose. That you want him to suffer. He'll ensure that you understand your position beneath him. He hates the feeling of losing control, and that's exactly what drives him mad about you and your stupid bad luck that he can't control, no matter how hard he tries. He will apologize to you for blaming it all on you, though. You can expect him to tell you that he has come to the realization that you had no intention of harming him, and that you possess a good heart. A heart that is too great for someone as dark and rotten as he is. GE Saeran will be way more balanced about it all. It'll take you two some time to figure it out, with him not putting too much pressure on himself, and you not worrying too much about harming him. Maybe you could develop a working system between you two that will help you keep disasters to a minimum, while also having a reliable plan for any accidents that may inevitably occur.

JAEHEE KANG: was your voice of reason, as much as she loved seeing you happy over a silly mug she knew when enough was clearly enough, after your cabinets were 60% of just mugs she intervened, she bargained with you to only get a mug when it was a special occasion, though sometimes she'd spoil you with a surprise mug, those were always handmade and very cute, she'd make one for herself too so you'd match while having your morning coffee together

JUMIN HAN: he was the worst person to be by your side when having an collecting addiction like this, he was your number one enabler, you want that mug? not an issue, that rare mug is 10k? ordering it right now, he'd also get invested in all the cat ones and would show you them, having no space wasn't an issue, being the executive director at a prestigious company gave an upper advantage, would buy you another cabinet if you needed it

SAERAN CHOI: doesn't really get it but supports you!!, he wouldn't say anything at first or think anything of it, it wasn't until he opened your cabinet and one fell (he apologized so many times), you knew your collection was quite much but you really didn't want to just stop, saeran came up with the smart idea of turning your old mugs into succulent planters, if you'd buy a mug you'd have to turn one into a planter, it was a win for both of you and allowed you to share a hobby with saeran, in his own saeran way

SAEYOUNG CHOI: would lovingly make fun of you for it, and when your cabinets started getting cluttered, he'd hold a little intervention for you, you tried to convince him that you did need all of these mugs, he wasn't buying it, in an attempt you'd challenge him that you wouldn't buy any mugs if he wouldn't buy any more cars, the thing about saeyoung is that he lives for challenges like these, you two had a bet on who would break first, you both tried to tempt each other by showing off rare cars/mugs to the other, the bet went on for a good while, none of you wanted to lose, saeyoung was eliminated but not in the way that you expected, instead of buying a car... he bought you a mug, he bought you a silly long cat mug after having a series of rough days to cheer you up

V / KIM JIHYUN: he'd have a hard time saying no to you buying a mug, seeing you so happy and bright just because of a silly mug was so warming to him, he just loved seeing you happy because it made him happy, however your mug collection was growing out of control, while cooking one night with him you asked him to hand you a measuring cup, he opened multiple cabinets to just mugs, he'd eventually found it but asked you if you'd consider donating your old ones, you were hesitant, you loved your big collection but it was getting out of hand, you ended up agreeing and went the next day to multiple thrift stores and charities to donate, you did ended up taking just a few home that were there, but doing something nice for the community with v was a big highlight

VANDERWOOD: didn't understand why you needed a mug with a silly image inked onto it, he couldn't wrap his head over why you can't just use a plain mug, you tired to explain that it enhances the overall experience of having a warm drink, wasn't convinced, tried to convince you to cutdown but you just kept saying you didn't have an absurd amount (you did), he'd eventually give in and ignore it, but seeing you so happy over something so insignificant made him happy, not that he'd mention or say so (tsundere moment cough), later on you'd begin to find random mugs in your cabinet, you were certain you'd never bought them though they were very cute, you'd ask vanderwood the next time he was around about them, he'd deny ever bring them there and just say you must of forgot buying them, you knew that wasn't the case, the only possibility was he would sneak them in, and that he would, he'd take note of you top favorites and bring you one similar

YOOSUNG KIM: yet another enabler, like everyone else he loved seeing you happy, it didn't help that his main love language was gift giving, on top of all the mugs you'd buy yourself, he'd get you four more, he'd also be a big fan of cute matching mugs, after telling him that your cabinets started becoming full of just mugs, he offered to keep some at his place for when you come visit, but soon his cabinets begin to be mostly just mugs, you had to come to your senses or else the both of you would be buried in so many mugs, you combed through your collection together, getting rid of ones you were okay to part with, yoosung was a little sad to part ways with your mugs, even if you kept all the ones he gifted, he was so used to gifting you mugs it was almost an routine, he had to find the next little thing he'd gift you

ZEN / HYUN RYU: he thought your obsession with mugs was very cute, he'd even gift you a couple when he could, if he was working he'd ask production if they had any mugs with the logo of the project he was working on, even if you were cute about it he knew he had to tell you to hold off just a little bit, your collection was starting to eat the kitchen cabinets, you had him help you talk yourself out of buying mugs whenever you two went out, that was easier said than done, he'd see your eyes light up with pure happiness and bliss whenever you saw a mug you liked, he'd try to remind you that you were holding off but whenever you looked at him it broke him, he'd see your loving puppy dog eyes (even if they weren't intentional) and debate on just this one, that mostly turned into one mug each time you both went out, in zen's books at least it was better than nothing

Yoosung is the one who immediately gets roasted for comparing you to Rika. "It's not about appearance!" he'd whine. "I don't even know what they look like beyond this profile picture!" Even when you're gushing about the latest release from your fave heavy metal band and going on your latest (valid) anti-capitalism rant, he would still be enamored. "It's their heart. They have a good heart that wants what's best for good people." Rika is a state of being, an ideal, a concept he has put on a pedestal to help him cope with his grief. He thinks the fact that you have more piercings than Rika is neat, actually, and may want your help the next time he touches up his roots.

Zen finds you to be a kindred spirit, of sorts. Someone who goes against the grain, against how society "expects" people to behave. Ever devoted to his friends, he may actually start acting overprotective! He knows he got into a lot of trouble as a teen, and he doesn't want you to make the same mistakes. You may have to gently remind him that just because you dress a certain way doesn't mean you act a certain way, and that stereotypes don't benefit anybody! (He quickly apologizes and goes back to being his usual self, but he will dote on you quite a bit.)

Jaehee of course is one of the people reprimanding Yoosung for comparing you to Rika. Some may think that someone as straight-laced as Jaehee, a top student and hard worker, may look down on alternative folks. On the contrary, she admires you! When growing up, she always worked herself to the bone and kept quiet, behaving in a way that wouldn't inconvenience her aunt & uncle. She actually wishes she could express herself more instead of just plowing through school and work to land a well-paying job, all in the name of "not being a burden." Maybe you can teach her how to be more comfortable with herself and her own wishes and desires, instead of following the path that she (and capitalism) thought was "best" for her.

707 thinks you're super cool. Genuinely. For starters, you're going to have him reflecting a lot on his own gender identity. He knows he loves dressing in women's clothes, but he also has days where he wants to be a strong & handsome man. The idea that he can be both or neither... Sorry, he's going to be having a Talk with his new nonbinary bestie. He's also going to want your help with his makeup. Oh, my goodness. Jumin is someone who doesn't openly talk about his interests because apparently, a perfect CEO-in-line isn't supposed to enjoy the nuances of dark magic, the supernatural, or reality shows where cats compete to see who can carry the heaviest fish. Your openness and unapologetically being yourself will catch his interest. He cares about you a lot.

Jumin worries for you often, which is an extension of his love. He cares for you, and especially when he's not around to look after you himself, he likes to call and be sure that all is well. If anything ever happened to go wrong, he would swim an entire ocean to ensure your safety above all else.

He calls to ask if you've eaten around lunchtime everyday, and will do the same thing around dinnertime if he finds himself working overtime. If he finds that you haven't yet, he urges you to do so in order to keep your strength up.

He leaves voicemails for you to wake up to when he's on business trips that take him away overnight. They're sweet and sometimes incredibly comforting, reminding you of your best qualities, saying he misses you and can't wait to be in your arms again, and relaying parts of his own day to you.

When he knows you've been working continuously or very hard for a certain amount of time, Jumin is sure to give you small measures of encouragement, but also asks you to sleep and be sure to take care of your needs.

He reminds you to put your seatbelt on each time you get in a car with him, and warns you of any potential dangers; even if they're miniscule at most. "Watch your step, love." // "Careful, the pan is hot, be sure you don't burn yourself." // "Don't rush, —the knife is sharp, angel."

Jumin requests that you call or text him when you travel a longer distance, just to let him know that you made it safely. He typically won't sleep or turn his phone off to work until he knows you've gotten where you need to go alright.

Jumin also offers his assistance to you in the face of small tasks. If you're preparing food, he'll offer to do some of the work; like chopping vegetables or making a side dish. If you're cleaning, he'll offer to take one half of the room in order to lighten your load. If you're washing dishes, he'll offer to dry them or put them away.

Sometimes, he also sends flowers to you at random and for no particular reason. They're always accompanied by sweet notes, —ones you've stored for safekeeping.

Hyun often tells you how he feels in different ways and offers a variety of compliments to you in order to show his appreciation.

He frequently tells you that he's happy to have met you and mentions how he feels your presence in his life has impacted him for the better. Hyun also insists that you bring out the best of him just by being yourself.

He also reminds you that he's there for you if you ever need to talk about anything, —or even if you just need a shoulder to cry on. Though he might not always have the right answers, he does what he can to give advice from time to time, and though it doesn't always hit the mark, you can't help but be thankful for his efforts.

Love is often a verb for Hyun, leaving him to show his feelings through physical means. When he comes home after a long day, the thing he wants most is a warm hug from you. He'd even go as far as to say that he doesn't feel right relaxing until he's had his evening embrace.

Kisses are another physical way Hyun says "I love you." Anywhere on your body he can comfortably press his lips at a given time is good enough for him; although he is impartial to your lips, jaw, and forehead, in that order.

Hyun also doesn't skimp on acknowledging the effort that you put into the relationship. He often tells you that he's appreciative of everything you do for him, and he's sure to say thank you after even the smallest things.

Packing a quick lunch for him to take to rehearsal in the morning? "Thank you so much, I'll be sure to eat every last bite!" // Getting a stain out of a shirt for him? "I appreciate it so much, thank you!" // Getting him a small present for no reason in particular? "I love it, thank you! I'll cherish this forever!"

Almost all of Saeran's "I love you"'s are silent to begin with. He's not the biggest fan of verbally expressing things when they have to do with his feelings. It's easier for him to show it through little things than it will likely ever be to verbalize everything that crosses his mind. 

One of the most frequent ways Saeran says "I love you" through actions is by giving you food from his plate. He'll offer you small bites here and there, maybe some when you're not looking as well, just to make sure that you eat enough.

He calls when you're away from one another for no reason in particular, just to hear your voice. He might not phrase it that way, often brushing it off as "just because," but it's easy to read between his lines.

Saeran often insists that you let him fix things, even when it's not necessary. He'll prompt you closer and take care of whatever the issue is with typical ease, all the while never making you feel small or embarrassed for having the issue in the first place. Even his small comments are more playfully sarcastic than anything.

"You didn't have to ask" is another favorite phrase of his. Saeran will often remind you that you don't need permission every single time to do certain things like giving him a quick kiss on the cheek or snuggling up to him in bed at night.

He comments bluntly on little things as well and tends to repeat the sentiments if he finds that it makes you smile. "You're warm." // "You smell nice. . . It's relaxing." // "That color looks nice on you."

Jaehee checks in on you often, —making sure you've eaten, making sure you've gotten enough sleep, and even helping to keep track of any deadlines or time-frames you may have to adhere to in your life.

She also leaves lots of room for information about you in her mind. Jaehee knows how you like certain foods cooked, how you like certain drinks made, and she loves listening to you talk/rant about media you enjoy. As someone who can get quite into entertainment of that nature herself, Jaehee enjoys discussing characters and storylines with you, even if she's never personally engaged with the root media itself.

Jaehee also offers words of encouragement to you often, letting you know that she believes in you and will be there to support you no matter what. If you need help with anything, —she's the one to go to. She's well versed in many things and completes tasks with an almost astounding precision.

She also seeks to share any burdens that you carry. Jaehee's worst fear is you bottling everything up inside as she's done in the past, leaving yourself to bounce between uncertainty and indifference. Any problems you're facing, she'd like to face them with you.

When it comes to going outside your comfort zone, Jaehee will check in on you often. She memorizes subtle expressions or movements you make when you're feeling less than secure, just to be sure she doesn't miss something in the thick of it all. "Are you sure you're okay with this?" // "Please let me know if you need anything." // "Don't hesitate to tell me if you're having a hard time."

Just as well, Jaehee never misses an important event. She's there for everything with appropriately themed gifts tailored to your tastes.

God, the frustration rushing through your veins like a bad drug caused your tears to spill over in ridiculous speed. The heat steaming off cooling down once they ran over your cheeks, silently landing on the pillow buried in your face.

You loved your friends to death, they're the reason for your life to be filled with happy memories. Regardless of the problems currently swimming around the group, there's always space for jokes, open appreciation when needed. They showed love and affection in their own way, everyone deserved to be treated nicely.

At times you missed being protected by your parents much against your liking, the thoughts would bubble to the surface now and then. Leaving you wonder how your life managed to make these big turns without your sanity breaking apart. Thinking about the past was never a good idea, considering it's filled with complicated feelings towards literally everyone and everything.  

All strength's used for harmony in your life. It broke your heart whenever someone's crying out to you, asking and begging for your hand. No matter who, the people near you had priority. More than anything else, they're lovely souls owning flaws. Just like yourself. But that particular difference in treatment when it came to each other drained you to the bone.

It wasn't fair.

Not that they're never listening, on the contrary, the RFA had a passion to consume interesting stories as much as useful information. Maybe, you thought while sniffing into your abused pillow, if you'd open up more, they would be able to see the truth hiding underneath your helpful nature. They're not the only ones seeking shelter, after all.

Belonging and understanding were keys to many different possibilities in this world. When it came to self-actualization, there's nothing that could compete with truthful sympathy. The empathy burning inside your heart's a good example of that rare trait. However, as unique as it made you at times, it's just as much of a pain. Everyone assumed you're happy all the time without consequences following. That's simply false.

It's not their fault, how could you blame them? They're busy with their own demons. Some of their lives went down the hill for years in a row, was there truly any space to complain? Looking at the twins' enough to prove your insecurities wrong. They went through hell all their life; you could never comprehend the pain they're forced to face when growing into adults. Jumin, Zen, Jaehee, Yoosung displayed their sad experiences and the resulting fears sometimes, too.

Even Rika and the whole tragedy with V was a nightmare to consider. How are you complaining? They needed your light, that positive self which guided Ray through the darkest of imaginations. Saeran's saved thanks to such selfless behavior, he became a hero you couldn't dream to be like. But there's seemingly nothing left for your own growth. You gave it away whenever it's wanted. Which was all the time.

Hurt kept repeating, for them and yourself. Who are you to put yourself first if others longed for safety much more openly? The fact you repressed these needs was a result of nobody asking about your own pain. It's not their fault, it's yours, if anything. Saying what's weighing down your soul, however, it felt like violation in the extreme major. It's like interfering with their lives. The others weren't there to bear your whiny butt, they owed you nothing.  

Did they? You're uncertain the more time passed by. Giving's fine, always had been since growing up. Yet to know you're rarely receiving anything in return began to leave you exhausted to the bone. You didn't want to be a hypocrite, only doing good in exchange for favors. You wished to stay a person offering help and affection unconditionally. It's disgusting thinking about own benefits when someone's looking for comfort.

That's why you did everything to escape these selfish desires. To be heard when it's not even that horrible, to be seen in your low moments as well. Getting pampered when complaining how bad life's treating you. It's unfair towards the people who truly needed attention in order to feel fine again. Despite your awareness, it's still a string in your chest which left you suffocated.

You wanted someone to return your help.

As shameful as it seemed to pray for, it's no use denying forever. You wished that similar devotion came from the people you deeply cared about, all without asking for it. Couldn't they return it, even if there's no specific reason? Were you so time consuming that they couldn't afford to care? A few words of appreciation and asking about your condition, was it too much work? Were you useless when not working through problems of others?

»(N)? There you are, I was looking for you.« What a bad timing. Saeran's warm albeit rough voice echoed through your room, asking for your presence. In all honesty, you preferred staying lonely for now. Although you're not in the mood to have a conversation, you swallowed the upcoming sob silently. If he needed assistance, you couldn't just turn him down. Saeran less than any other human on this planet. »Sorry... Was tired.« You half lied, since it's not completely wrong. You were struggling with fatigue.

His steps came to an end, the mattress shifted afterwards. He's sitting close, you're able to feel his warmth come in contact with yours. »Oh, did I disturb you? Are you taking a nap, perhaps?« His strong vibe showed how much he'd grown, this man was a living wonder. Saeran's the kind of role-model you wished to be one day. »No, it's fine.. What do you need?« The question scared you, hoping that he might came for another reason instead.

But when putting it realistically, it's a low percentage. Everyone’s seeking something from you all the time, even the guy you looked up to. »I was wondering if you want to join me making dinner. Saeyoung asked me to make spaghetti, so I thought it could be fun doing it together.« He explained almost excited. There's really no energy left on your part, though. Imagining to cook right now's killing your motivation even further. »Not. Really.« Was all you answered.

For a while nothing's exchanged between you both. If he hadn’t sat on the bed, you’d have thought he left the room again. »(N).. What's wrong.« Like an arrow drilling through your heart, you stopped breathing. It didn't sound like a question, on the contrary. Saeran was claiming something's up. Was your depressed attitude that obvious? If so, you wanted to sink into the ground for the rest of your life. »You're acting... different, lately. Is there something bothering you?«

»No,« you lied straight, mumbling into your pillow. »I'm good. Don't be worried.« Although you're longing for the opposite, on the other hand you hoped he'd ignore your pain and leave. You didn't look forward to ruining his mood alongside your own, he didn't deserve to deal with such negativity. Saeran narrowed his blueish eyes, watching your body all curled up. Resembling a hedgehog hiding away from the rain. »But you're refusing to do activities with everyone..« He sighed quietly.

The sound caused guilt to rise into your mouth, a bitter taste you despised more than anything else. »It feels like you're running from something. Am I right?« Why's he so skilled in reading your inner voice? How come Saeran's capable of looking into the deepest corners of your head and finding all these demons awaking fear from within? It's not fair. None of it was. Therefore you didn't answer, just curled up as much as possible.

»Hey.. Please don't avoid me.« The pleading tone melted your heart, a new wave of tears soon streaming over your face. If you would pull away, he'd see how pathetic you truly were. »I'm sorry.. I can't be of help right now.« You whispered broken, cursing yourself for the obvious pain corrupting your words. Saeran came closer, sliding to your side until one hand landed on your shoulder. The touch both calmed and angered you. »(N). Please tell me what's wrong. I want to be there for you, like you are for me.«

As if he knew exactly what to say. You shook your head while digging your nails into the pillow more. There's no way he didn't notice your body trembling. »Are you hurt? Did I do something wrong?« That made your patience snap. You looked up to him, brows frowned hard enough to hurt. »Of course not! I'm the one being a burden right n-now, not you!« His face showed the shock he's under, the guilt expanded all over your shoulders. This was a mistake, it’s really stupid, all of it.

»See? I'm– I can't bear to give any m-more right now! And.. And if I can't give..« Your thought trailed off to the faces of the RFA, the drama that happened ever since becoming a part of the group. You realized once again you're being childish. »If I can't help t-then there's no– no need to care for me! Leave me alone..« You hissed, slapping away his hand before burying your face back into the pillow. »I have to recharge first.. I'm not u-useful right now..« It hurt to speak these dark thoughts out loud.

You're sorry for Saeran to deal with nonsense like this, he's already having enough problems stacked on his plate. You're supposed to help him get rid of them one by one, not creating any more. Saeran's hand came back to your shoulder, this time however, it ran up. Taking hold of your hidden, wet cheek. »How can you say such a horrible thing..« He sounded sad. Great. Now you've done it. »Since when do you think like that..? (N)..«

The next sob was unavoidable. Saeran kneeled onto the bed, coming closer until he's right in front of you. But you're too much of a coward, no way you're making eye contact. »Just because you're not helping doesn't mean you have no use.. Who in their right mind said that to you?« It's almost laughable how offended he seemed. You sniffed, swallowing the lump stuck in your throat sadly ended in vain, though. »Nobody.. It's just..« It's your turn to sigh.

»I don't want to bother you.. or anyone with my stupid problems. I wanna help.. not.. be a burden.« You explained and saying out loud how you're feeling had you painfully self-aware. How toxic that thought process truly was. Saeran huffed, pulling away the pillow without warning. The white shirt and hair owned a touch of yellow due to the sun shining through the window. His bright eyes an ocean, so transparent with his feelings. He's looking bewildered at first glance.

One hand came up, stroking away the tears that continued to ruin your face. It's the kind of comfort you've been dreaming about all day long, having Saeran do it was another desire coming true. »You're never a burden. Never. I can't believe you didn't tell me how you feel, (N).« He's smelling sweet as usual, the familiar sent had you lower the barrier an inch. Including your legs for him to come closer. And Saeran took the invention.

»I'm sorry I didn't tell you..« But he cut you off right away. »Don't. Insecurities aren't your fault. I just wish.. I would've known.« He smiled, a sight so pretty making you return the gesture. »I'm sorry I didn't realize any sooner.« His fingertips warm against your cooled skin, you placed both hands above his, small in comparison. »No, I'm sorry for not telling you.. I'm not used to ask for help. I normally give it.« He nodded, pink hair tips almost close enough to cover his eyes, scanning every inch of your face with care.

A bit embarrassing, there's no reason to refuse him regardless. »I know you give a lot all the time. I..« He broke eye contact, searching for the right words. You let the heavy air escape your lungs once he titled your head into his palms better. A simple, yet so effective touch. It had your heart beating faster than before. »You don't have to help all the time just to get appreciation, you know that, right?« As you kept silence hanging in the room, Saeran rubbed circles over your skin.

He must've known, considering he hummed amused. »Don't keep that pain inside, please. I don't want you suffering like that, you mean too much to me.« What a man with words he could be if necessary. You giggled, the soul of yours already lighter.

Now you're coming back to your old self, all thanks to him. »Okay, thank you... I mean it. Thank you, Saeran. I can't tell you how much that means to me.« His left hand stroked past your cheek, carefully going through the loose strands of hair. The affection's intoxicating on your otherwise tough mental state. »I should be thanking you, (N). Only thanks to your love and pain I'm able to understand myself. You're my world.« A little bump sound lingered in your ears once his forehead's pressed against yours.

»You at least know that, right?« Again, his silly question had you snicker. Saeran's body's comfortable when you pulled him into a hug. He's healthier than back at Magenta, that's a relief you thanked God for every single morning. He imitated your movements and put his arms around you, keeping you safe and sound in his embrace. »I know, yes.. And you're also mine. That's fine, right? Even if I'm not able to provide a lot..?« The doubt died immediately by the kiss on your cheek. The loving words he whispered. »Of course. I adore you, no matter what you give.«

Do you think the mysme routes change much if instead of the end goal being romance it's more like becoming best friends? Like obviously this excludes all of the romance and flirting in the routes, but plot wise do you think it would change much?

This. This is such a good question, and I would really love to know other people's thoughts.

In my opinion? I don't think a whole lot would change.

Now, the actual content of the routes would be different, of course. No flirting or kissing or innuendos. But in terms of what each of the characters needs?

Well.

Yoosung needs someone who will respect him. He is always the youngest, and the sweetest, and the most innocent—he's been sheltered and coveted, and he doesn't know how it feels to take charge of his own life. Rika was the first person to take him seriously—and even though she did it for her own dubious reasons, it meant something to him, and that's why he became so attached to her. It doesn't matter if you're his partner or if you're his best friend: if you treat him like he means something, he'll start to believe that he might.

Jaehee needs to be adored. She's the hardest worker she's ever met, and she'll work herself into the ground because she's never known anything different. Her whole life, no one has ever looked deep into her eyes and told her she's special. You could love her in all sorts of ways—but as long as you love her for who she is (and not who she tries to be), she'll feel powerful enough to figure out what she really wants.

Zen needs to be seen clearly—not for his talents or his looks but for his kindness and his drive and his gentleness. He wants to be loved, of course: he's dreaming about relationships and holding hands and drinking tea together in the park. But what's most important is that you're honest with him, and that you push him to follow his heart, and that you look at him and see a real person (and someone who's good, and soft, and trying as hard as he can).

Jumin needs to be held gently, and you don't have to be his lover to do this. He is so terrified of being alone that he's cut everyone out (because if you have no one with you then you also have no one to lose). Tell him truthfully what you think of him and listen to him when he's lonely. Give him a hug like you really mean it and remind him that there's a place for him in the world.

Saeyoung needs you to push back against the layers of delusion he's built around himself. He's never really had anyone listen to him before, and he doesn't feel like he deserves to be heard. He needs you to smile at him and then take his face in both hands and tell him he has to be honest with you. He won't do it unless you make him—and if you don't force him to tell you the truth, he'll forget who he is. Romance is not the most important thing; trust matters more.

Jihyun needs to be told that he doesn't bear the weight of the world on his shoulders. He has loved in all the wrong ways, and he isn't sure how it feels to love somebody while still caring for himself. He may not be ready for grand declarations and sweeping you off your feet—he'll get there, if that's what you want. But if you are his friend, he'll cherish you. He hasn't been able to sit in silence with someone and feel at peace in a very long time.

Saeran needs you to remind him that he's strongest when he's weak and gentlest when he's strong. Life has left him in pieces, and he hasn't been able to see a way out. You have to give him your hand and then let him lead the way: hold on tight while he learns how to envision the future. You can love him any way you want—marry him, or be his best friend—but stay by his side and he'll learn to stand on his own, too.

,,No, she doesn’t,’’ he corrected.

,,She just wants my money,’’ he said and with that they finally changed their shoes and went out, ready to go home.

Neither Jumin’s or Jihyun’s driver was there. Instead, a girl with her mother stood there.

,,No one cares about your good mark you got in math. The world doesn’t need a doctor like you! All you have to do is to find a rich man and do what he wants! Just listen to him and be pretty for him so that he always will love you. Everything else is not important,’’ the mother told the girl who was looking down.

You and Zen were very good friends.To be honest, one of you just had to say something about a relationship and you guys would finally become a couple.

Both of you planned on studying together to start your dream of being in entertainment.

You wanted to become your boyfriend’s manager.

You could almost say that Yoosung was kind of a stalker; he always followed you around, observed you, and dreamed about you, the girl of his dreams.

The young man was totally different and for you, he wanted to change.

You and the brown haired girl were best friends.

Well, deep in your heart you knew that you may have felt a bit more than that, but this was a completely different topic.

You and Jaehee did everything together.

You two went shopping together, went to school together, and hung out together.

You and Jaehee often wore matching outfits and ate the same lunch.

Jaehee’s house was almost yours too because you stayed there so many times. 

But Jaehee never really visited yours, after all these years, she couldn’t remember what your kitchen looked like, how your house smelled, and what color your walls were.

And the reason was that your mother was a quite strict one with everything else, but an open mind.

One day, it was the day of the school’s drama production. You played a big role in it because you were the one who scripted everything and helped the teacher a lot.

Jaehee never saw such an intelligent person.

Such a kind person.

And she never saw such a bad mother like yours.

Actually, it was kind of her fault, Jaehee thought.

Your mother approached her and asked her where you were staying.

In that very minute, your mother observed how you were arguing with a boy. The older boy one class above you who actually had a crush on you, or so it was said.

And from the frozen expression on your mother’s face, Jaehee could tell that she wasn’t okay with the way you were talking to him.

From afar, Jaehee could see that your eyes were watery.

Like I said, studying isn’t the most important thing as long as you have a person who will give you money and a house.

Don't know if you've ever talked on this subject or not, but what's your interpretation on Jumin's relationship with Jaehee after her good ending? Really love how mindfully you explain Jumin's feelings and actions, and I'd love to hear your thoughts on the matter! Especially bc her route kinda leaves many people feeling like he's an antagonist of sorts 😬 But I kinda always felt like he'd respect her a lot, especially once he sees how much passion she puts into her dream? And Jaehee shows her genuine care for Jumin, too, moreso after his infamous crash. I'm kinda babbling here, but yeah! Really curious to read up on your interpretation <3

I haven't talked about this before actually—I think there's a lotttt of nuance to it and I didn't want to be haphazard with it in case it comes across as me being over lenient with corporate heirs or whatever hahah. I promise I'm not! I just love Jumin. Also sorry this took me a while to answer, I had actually just started a game the day you sent it with the intention of doing Jaehee's route so I decided I would play before responding to ensure it was fresh in my mind. I hadn't played her route in so long, and I wanted to get the Jumin outgoing calls too!

To get into how I think he would treat her after some time passes I first want to discuss their dynamic in her route a bit, because I honestly think people are unnecessarily harsh on him because of it sometimes. I personally don't feel as if they pushed him too far into an antagonistic role, but perhaps since Cheritz weren't bringing in an outsider (à la Echo Girl or Sarah Choi) to act as the driving force it seemed that way to some people? It was inevitable given the nature of Jaehee's struggles that Jumin would be viewed as the bad guy in a sense, but I feel like it's often sort of blown out of proportion due to a misunderstanding of both Jumin's intentions and his character as a whole. He is admittedly at his worst in Jaehee's route, but people tend to brush his actions during it off as completely out of line and absurd and then go on to use it to totally mischaracterise him as someone who doesn't value his employees whatsoever or is an abusive boss. In reality though, the way he acts as a superior in general as well as given the specific circumstances is very... Jumin? in that it's logical and efficient and goal-driven. Jaehee's route is such a push and pull in the sense that the two of them clash repeatedly in a scenario where neither person is willing to compromise—for what, to each of them personally, is good reason! Jaehee is a victim of a wider system, of capitalism itself, less so than of Jumin as an individual.

On one hand, Jaehee having to give up a project she was finally actually enjoying working on would be incredibly frustrating, even without having something she actively dislikes stacked on top of it. I get why she went against Jumin's wishes of doing a bad job (why would she choose now of all times to put in half of her effort when it's something she's actually having fun with?) and I get why she used Seven's cat hotel proposal. Life can be messy like that. Sometimes you have to make a decision that has a shitty outcome for someone else for your own sake or vice versa. She should be doing something that makes her happy, and had she not gotten the encouragement to find something she loves she would have continued to feel unfulfilled for god knows how long. Plus, in regard to the coffee report she is still technically doing her job and doing it well, even if going against her boss' personal wishes in doing so. She also does use her own time to revise it in the end so Jumin can have his way (and maybe a little bit so she can use her ideas for her own place) so, to me, that says she understands where he's coming from and doesn't particularly resent him. It's a complex situation for sure, and objectively Jumin does have the upper hand even if he doesn't quite realise the extent of it. I absolutely support Jaehee in her endeavours; I love her so much and she absolutely deserves better than eternal C&R bullshit.

At the same time, Jumin's perspective does make sense if you try to understand his worldview a bit more. Jaehee is the only person at C&R he feels he can genuinely rely on, and when he's already been thrown through a loop with his father prior to her disobedience it's entirely logical that he would feel as if everyone who should be working with him is suddenly against him. Jumin has been shown before to not quite have a grasp on the social standing he holds over Jaehee, for example in this chat from deep story day 2 where he doesn't understand why she can't tell him, as he told her, that she doesn't like seeing him in chatrooms.

And I think it's genuine obliviousness as opposed to purposeful ignorance; he overlooks bigger structures at play because he legitimately values hearing the honest opinions of the people around him and expects them to have a mutual respect for him. As far as Jumin is concerned his employees should be able to come to him with honest feedback, but of course that typically isn't the case and so Jaehee can't express how she really feels to him lest she face consequences. Jumin's thought process when it comes to employment is shown to be, to put it simply, people work for money -> more work is more money -> more work is good, and it hasn't been explained to him why this isn't the case for a lot of people. Jaehee's actions register to Jumin as is simply a betrayal of his trust and respect, because he doesn't quite see the level at which he and Jaehee are on unequal footing in the first place. On top of that he is rigid in that he needs everything to be done as he expects it; he does not like sudden change and (as demonstrated in his own route) can be incredibly rattled by it if he is already otherwise stressed or overworked. Just because he stands strong for his friends does not mean he is entirely invulnerable to being overwhelmed and acting out, and while I completely agree he was on some level being selfish in regards to the cat project, at the point where Jaehee quits she has already left him with what (to Jumin) is a mess to handle essentially on his own. He is overworked too, something Jaehee admits herself, and he wanted to transfer the coffee project to another department both to make less work for the two of them and in order to not succumb to his father's lack of consideration for anyone or anything but his current partner.

Again I do not blame Jaehee for anything she did whatsoever—I think it was a good idea for her to quit and she absolutely deserves the happiness she finds in MC and their café!—but Jaehee is incredibly competent and Jumin knows that. Consequently he knows she has big boots to fill and it can't be done on a whim. I'm sure you can see why he would be incredibly frustrated. As a whole it's just a very messy situation where the two of them can't really fathom the other's perspective. Their lives and outlooks on the world are so intrinsically different at this turning point in Jaehee's life, and that's fine. Neither of them have bad intentions towards the other whatsoever.

Now to actually answer your question! Firstly I want to put out there that he says this on days nine and ten respectively:

Then I want to add that I do not think Jumin is the type to hold a grudge. He is shown frequently to take on a sort of each to their own/whatever will be will be attitude, and though this situation is something that impacts him directly I can't imagine him taking it any more personally in the long term than he would anything else. Sure he's a little hostile in her AE, but to be completely honest with you I do not think he would have gone to visit the café at all if he was completely furious and had lost all respect for Jaehee (and/or MC) after her endeavours. Again he knows that Jaehee is highly capable, hardworking, and generally a very good person, and I can't imagine that one rocky dilemma between the two of them is something that would make him bad tempered around her forever. He still clearly held her highly and has a lot of respect for her despite their differences, and she doesn't seem to have any ill will towards him either. Ultimately, as you say, he would grow to respect her passion and would hear her out on why she took the course of action she did in the end. While Jumin may not be great at putting himself in others shoes he can identify patterns well, and it lets him draw parallels between his own experiences and other people's. Once he finds the common ground (he knows how fulfilling passion projects can be, he knows how frustrating it can be to work yourself to the bone for others' sake without any real incentive, and he values real friendship an awful amount) I think he would accept it.

I actually feel like hypothetically in the long term not working together would be good for their relationship in terms of RFA too—Jaehee was only made part of the group originally because of Jumin and it meant that all of their interactions even amongst their mutual friends were that of a work relationship. We know they both dislike being in chatrooms together and dislike hearing each other talk outside of work, which was bound to have put a strain (even if very minor) on their association with RFA as an organisation. Jaehee even says herself it's like an extension of C&R for her! Dropping the working boundary between them means less tiptoeing around each other and more openness among friends, especially for Jaehee.

As for Yoosung becoming Jumin's intern/assistant, I don't think it would carry the same tone into RFA as it did with Jaehee since they are already well associated without the business relationship prior to Yoosung being hired. Sure things might be a little weird at times, but no discomfort or frustration to the same extent. It's already shown to be kind of unserious and silly, and I honestly don't think Yoosung would last long as Jumin's assistant anyway, lol.

What are your thoughts on the new Cg? Butler Saeran? I’m not use to the him nor Jumin and Zen with glasses. But they look good

Normally, I would do a lengthy analysis post about the image, but there isn’t much here for me to analyze! I do want to write something for the anniversary that I will try to get out before the end of the month, but it's not going to be tacked onto an image analysis since there isn't much for me to say here other than point out a few Easter eggs. 

I got what I wanted. Jaehee in a tuxedo. This is what I manifested at the start of the month and I am grateful that we not only got her in a maid outfit, we got her in a butler outfit, too. Jaehee stans, you have won and she is front and center! This is her moment and she is killing it. I feel the need to stare at her for a little while because it's cute and there's no way I'm going to let this moment pass me by without really appreciating Jaehee aesthetically.

I'll be honest, I don't know why the recent trend has been to make our boy Yoosung super clumsy. He's never really been a clumsy guy and I don't know where someone got the idea that Yoosung isn't on top of what he's doing. I will agree in saying he's probably the easiest person to bully in the entire universe because he's sweet and gullible, but he isn't clumsy, and yet, every image we've gotten of him this year other than his birthday image has had him busting his ass on the ground in one way or another.

Does ANYONE know why they're bullying Yoosung this bad? I mean, he's really cute here and I appreciate that he's trying his best to really impress the MC, but c'mon, give him a break.

I did not realize how badly I needed Jumin in glasses. Jumin's already a very handsome person but somehow adding glasses really elevates it here for some reason. I don't know how his vibe has enhanced for me but it has. I wear glasses myself and I always have, so it's nice to see the characters in glasses in official artwork because I'm always super curious to see how they would look. It's working for Jumin, that I can tell you.

I like that his hair isn't as neat and tidy as it usually is, too.

I fear they have slayed. Saeyoung and Zen are dazzling in their own right and I can't remember the last time they were drawn side by side but I think it's been a little while.

I've already noticed many people have pointed out that Saeyoung is wearing a ring. It's a little bit silly that he's wearing it over his glove, but I have to admit that is something he would do if this were his timeline. He is proud of the fact that he gets to live in this world, and he's even happier to know that he has somebody by his side who understands him more than anyone else. He's definitely that guy who doesn't stop talking about his partner because he's so in love. 

Zen with roses is something I've come to expect because he's also a traditional romantic. Red roses are the best way to captivate someone with your love and it’s no surprise that he follows that path. It might seem a little cliche but who is he if not somebody who loves romantic cliches? He is that guy who would watch romcoms with you all day long regardless of your relationship status with him, he just gets it.

I don't know how I feel about him wearing glasses since he doesn't seem like a glasses guy, but maybe if I saw him in sunglasses I might be able to rationalize this better. He's wearing a stylized pair here and I think it's the gold that's throwing me off. If it was silver, I don't think I would feel as perplexed by how I feel because silver fits him better as that's typically what he chooses for himself.  

Controversial thing to say every time I say it, but I have to tell you guys that Jihyun is still my third favorite character in the game, and I really don’t mind when Saeran and V are drawn together. I recognize that they do this because those two are tied together as the leads of Another Story, just as the core five, meaning Yoosung, Zen, Jaehee, Jumin, and Seven are drawn together.

But, to me, seeing Jihyun with everyone makes me feel like there is a timeline where V did the right thing for everyone and asked for help at the first sign of trouble instead of continually shooting himself in the foot. A lot of the art that's drawn with V included is self-indulgent and can only exist as true fanservice because it would never be true in most routes of the game. 

Normally, I would expect him to look exasperated in art like this but he seems to be fairly confident which is a good change for Jihyun. I’ll take it! 

I have no idea what they're doing here, did they choreograph a song and dance? They aren't the most coordinated members of the group so that makes me want to laugh. It's sweet, but I have a huge feeling they're going to trip over each other if not on their own feet. Saeran is as cute as always, I could talk about him for hours.

Seeing him as a butler always takes me back to when Ray said he would be happy to be your butler in a huge mansion. That was utterly indicative of the fact he was willing to become subservient to you if it meant you would stick around. That’s what the first bad ending is all about. Unfortunately, he thought so poorly of himself that he would be willing to make himself nothing more than something for you to push around if that's what you wanted. 

At least, in this context, he's doing it because he wants to make you happy, sure, but it's not something he's doing to make sure you stick around, he knows you'll still be there no matter what because he doesn't have to work himself to the bone to prove he's worthy of your companionship. 

I don't know if anybody picked this up but the painting is in homage to the anniversary image from two years ago. Rika was in the painting that time, and this time around, it's MC.

I do think it's worth noting that they are playing with light and dark imagery which is to be expected in a game that takes a lot of cues for religious imagery. Rika and MC are always bathed in white and black, light and dark, true contrast.

They're both wearing a dress that goes off of the shoulders, the only difference being the color and the style. MC has a more sleek pattern and Rika is bathed in ruffles. Rika’s seems to be more constrained and MC’s a little more loose around the edges. MC is free to make choices one way or the other by pushing outward, and Rika makes choices that go against her best interest as she pulls inward. I think another CG that plays on this is the BE from V Route.

Love her or hate her, there are important parallels at play here. 

In conclusion, Rika has always been like this in official art and I don't know what to tell you.

I am tired of it seriously, and as a Jumin fan, I want to justify some things, the statements and judgy things that I have to see on a daily basis 🤐, so here it goes....

•"Jumin is a manipulative & an abusive person who doesn't even care about MC's well being, what a jerk! " ( just to be clear here, this was in my asks, which I don't want to post, she was a 'someone' fan, and started saying reasons why that someone is much better than my fav, I don't tolerate this attitude ) So, this person was okay with 'someone' who treated them like a pain in the ass for 'protecting' them, totally covered it up by saying he was just being a 'tsundere', and gave him a free pass because he had a 'tragic past' and has much bigger problems than my fav ( when did people start measuring problems haha ? ) . I have told this a million times, but I will say it again,JUMIN ISN'T AN ABUSER , he does care about MC's well being and why do you think he makes MC to stay with him, for her safety. I know my man has problems and I can deal with it , so leave my man alone 👀

( ⚠️ no hate towards 'someone' fans, as long as you recognize his flaws, I wouldn't mind. I am talking about the toxic ones who love to show that their 'someone' is a much better choice , and others are not , by twisting some of their actions into something vile ⚠️ )

Like, imagine living in a stranger's house knowing nothing about your safety, if I were MC ,I wouldn't mind staying at Jumin's penthouse , until the whole 'unknown hacker' thing is resolved, and you may say that he himself is a stranger to MC, but he starts caring for you as soon as you get his attention , he never lays a finger on you unless you want to, so he seems to be safe for me . If you really wanted to go to the apartment, then go ahead, say all the rude things u want to, a surprise will be waiting for u there, which you claimed to be 'safe', so Chile, anyways-

• " Jumin is a bad boss, jaehee's route says it all 💀, he made her cut her hair, over worked her. That guy is a soul less demon who doesn't care about his employees welfare "....alright.., the classic excuse, I see, Jaehee fans, u guys get a free pass for this, he was a jerk in that route, but calling him a bad boss? Hmm....I don't think I have ever seen a boss who wouldn't mind seeing their assistant shitting on them , but he leaves Jaehee to do that. That hair cut part pissed me off, but he only did this, with the aim to protect her from his father. Jaehee could have communicated her difficulties before hand, instead of not doing her work properly (with regards to jaehee's route) , there is always a option called 'resignation', u knw, jaehee ^^ moreover , he did not under pay her at all, she was a well paid employee, he even a gives a vacation for her in his route, what boss would do that? . And, for your kind information, no one in the whole RFA, not even MC, were concerned about jumin when he took seven's car and went on for a ride eventhough he doesn't even knw how to drive, like isn't this is a warning sign? . He himself had a hard time in jaehee's route, so just like how jaehee stans understand her part of the story, I understood Jumin's part of the story despite playing jaehee's route BEFORE Jumin's route.

• "Jumin han fans seems to love abuse, what the hell is wrong with them?!" As a person who had an abusive friendship , I can totally confirm, that, he is a bit controlling, but not ABUSIVE , please stop throwing the word abuse just like that , i have already seen a number of fans victim blaming.

• "U like Jumin Han from Mystic messenger ? Then, you must have daddy issues 💫?! haha...". I have a healthy relationship with my dad, who is my role model and admire him a lot so I don't think you can judge me just because i love a guy who looks dominant to you 👀

• "Oh wow, u love Jumin, that means you are into kinky stuff ?" 😐 again, People with kink, I don't have anything against you, you enjoy ur thing! It's just that I don't like it when some people generalize other fans.

I did miss a statement, we all know the infamous " 50 shades of Jumin Han" duh....🥴

I sometimes feel uncomfortable to even say that my fav character is Jumin Han, cuz all the replies would be like, "OMG! DADDY, 50 SHADES OF JUMIN". I have to say this, if you are a fan of Jumin only because of that infamous BE2 and not because of his character, u r not even a fan of Jumin, I am sorry if I offended any fans of that end but the fact that some of us are glorifying it too much pains me.

This is how Jumin really is to us, (i. e, real fans of Jumin), whether u believe it or not :

• He had a hard time connecting with people which in turns made him look unempathetic and selfish because of his familial issues.

• He yearns for someone who can understand and love him just the way he is , I mean ,what do you expect? his 'friends' doesn't even give a shit about him, his first love & his best friend, has 'gone' far away. This is the biggest reason he even clings to you like anything.

• He definitely isn't a daddy dom material, he is that soft loyal hubby type who gets very serious when it comes to work. Actually he is like a mirror, he gives back to you, what you give it to him, be it love , lust ( in context with his BE2 ) or whatever it might be

• He literally begs MC to stay with him at one point, only because he thinks that she can understand him much better than his 'friends', or his cat, Elizabeth the 3rd.

• Jumin isn't perfect , so obviously he made a number of mistakes too..especially in jaehee's route . He has done some good and bad deeds and I acknowledge both as it is 💯

Other days, he would lock himself in a room and this would be the worst days of his isolation. Rika’s death was all too much for him to handle, and he was lost.

But this, was how life had been before he met you.

After meeting you, days of isolation quickly declined as he had been more desperate to spend every minute with you, and he wouldn't want to waste a single second.

Now, if he isolates himself, it's probably due to a fight/argument he had with you, or playing games that god damn addiction.

If there's a rare item in lolol, bet you he's not coming out of that room till he gets his hands on it.

No worries though, you have a few tricks up your sleeves to get him out...

☕️ Jaehee ☕️

Well, Jaehee's a busy woman and life can get stressful.

That being said, when Jaehee isolates herself... They can be extremely random.

And it doesn't happen too often, it's occasional.

Somedays can get stressful and instead of pushing it, she follows your advice in using other ways to stress out. Isolating herself is a part of that.

It's good to see her having time for herself, so you let her be for the most part.

But sometimes, stressful days are better to talk out with someone who understands.

You check up on her, knock at the door, make sure she's okay and let her know you're there to talk. :)

Zen's way of isolating himself is a bit different. Everything seems fine, he treats you all the same.

If there's one thing that changes, he's going to rehearsals early and coming back home late. 

And even at rehearsals, he’s stressing about work, constantly telling himself he needs to practice to make this stage picture perfect.

This being said, on days he did this, you would barely see him.

It happens randomly, and you wouldn't mind if it wasn’t so much of a unhealthy habit, but it was.

So just assure your lover that everything will be okay, and it’ll really help him.

♛ Jumin ♛

When thoughts get complicated, Jumin feels better to have a few bottles of wine alone.

If not this, Jumin enjoys a peaceful atmosphere, he finds this easiest to find when he's isolated.

Of course, he adores your company. And trust me, he's starving your touch, even if he is receiving it every day.

So this only happens if he doesn't want to bother you or you're away for whatever reason.

Similar to Zen, Jumin will also lock himself in his office due to work. Leave him alone if he’s working and focused. Drag this man out if you think he needs a break.

👓 Seven 👓

After his route, are you used to this yet?

He will push you away, isolate himself, but you’ll stick by him. ;)

Jokes aside, Seven will often isolate himself due to work. Especially when he’s still working as a secret agent.

If not this, he will secretly walk away from bed to sit against a wall with thoughts that wander his mind.

These thoughts would mostly be about Saeran, concerns will take up Seven's mind and it will start to eat him up.

However when Saeran is found, and all peace returns, Seven will still take a few nights to sneak out and stare at the night sky.

He finds it relaxing and it gives him time to look back at how far he’s come, how much he’s accomplished, and all the following happy days to come with his family of three.

He’s always delighted for some company if you wanna join him stargaze.

Isolation... it's not a stray word to V. He's done it before, several times.

In the past, it was an action he was required to take. V had a lot of weight to carry, and in order to untangle them, he slowly isolated from everyone.

Now, he attempts to isolate privately, the past still haunts him sometimes.

But isolation helps him think, find peace, and remind himself that everything's okay.

Especially with you by his side.

Still, assure him to give clarification that he's right, squeeze him tight to show him that this isn't a dream, everything's okay and you're there for him.

🌚 Saeran 🌚

Saeran's been through a lot, and he deserves all the time he needs to heal.

Whatever he may need, no matter how long he takes, even if it isn't you he chooses to be with, at the end of the day... you know one thing for sure.

You'll be there in every step of his way to support him, with everything in your power to help.

He deserves that, and a lot more.

Isolation is gonna be a big part of his journey, he's gonna need time to himself and a lot to think.

Just let him know that you're always there for him.

And knowing there's someone as reliable as you that's more than willing to help him no matter what, there's nothing more he would ask for.

Jumin’s Character Analysis

✨L o n g P o s t ✨ pt 1

With the Jumin BG2 DLC drama , I think we need a refresh and also an analysis on Jumin's character and why he's so scared to let go of MC.

Let's start with his background.

We don't exactly know how old he was during that flashback, but it's clear that he wasn't an adult yet. Jumin was a ✨minor✨ when was living with a stepmother. His mother left him in the care of his father. He suffered from divorcing parents AND a remarrying father in his younger years. Not to mention the things Jumin must've heard his stepmother say to persuade his father to marry her.

The women that coveted material goods and approached him because of it disgusted him. It's why Jumin was always on guard around women. Every woman he met displayed warped values and solidifies his distrust with them even more. Jumin made sure that he will never emotionally connect with them. Ever. Why try something you know that's bound to hurt you?

We get to know more about his biological mother in the seasonal chats. In his 2018 bday chats, his mother was only mentioned twice:

We know 2 things: his biological mother was famous for her marriage and that she rarely meets with Jumin. The only being famous for marriage part seems kinda sus doesn't it? Zen and Yoosung doesn't know her name even though she's a singer, but the striking feature that Zen does remember were her sharp eyes. Beauty. She was beautiful.

Ok I know what you're thinking: bruhh you're overthinking myesno.. maybe she wasn't a famous singer, marriage put her on the spotlight, and she probably was like a normal person with a lovely heart. And I ask you this: Why didn't we hear about her during his route? We don't hear a speck about her during his route so it's clear that she wasn't actively in his life. And why wasn't she in his life? Argue against me or with me, but I think she's a gold digger too.

Now, coupled with the fact that a) his mother wasn't around and b) he won't voluntarily connect with other people around him, that leads to one person who is always there for him: his dad.

Jumin adores his father and it's obvious why he does.

Jumin's father never had a reason to put on a mask in front of him or say sweet but empty words. He was family, and someone Jumin could trust to never hurt him directly. Their relationship was so strong that nothing could break it, or so he thought,

until Chairman Han cuts it himself.

Was this 'Glam' woman more important than him? How insignificant was he to his father if he could decide things like this for him? Someone that he trusted hurt him.

It was a very big blow on their relationship that Jumin had to face alone. V was gone to who knows where; Zen, Yoosung, and Seven wouldn't give their time to understand and emotionally support him, and Jaehee was strictly co-workers and too busy to support him as well. He was truly alone.

RFA+Saeran when MC is insecure about their face 

*Yoosung*

Yoosung himself is kind of picky about his own face, one of the reasons why he bleached his hair was because he read that it would make his face brighter, and after what happened with his eye, he was really worried about how you looked as a couple and would keep overthinking about how beautiful you were and how he looked worse than before

Because yes, he has never thought that you look anything but beautiful

Even when you keep trying to hide your face in subtle ways, like wearing a scarf that covers your mouth, a hat, or just using your hair to hide yourself. He stills think you look stunning but will have a hard time picking up the signs that you are doing all that stuff because you don't like your face

In fact, he may need a LOT of help figuring it out, to the point where he only did when Zen asked why you would cover your face in pictures

And then maybe he will start to worry about how you see yourself, about how you may not be able to see how precious and beautiful you really are to him, but at the same time he doesn't feel like he is good with words, so his concern will show in more subtle ways, pulling up your hat so your eyes show, giving you more spontaneous kisses or try to get better at complimenting you

Even if most of the time he just ends up being a blushing mess that can barely get to the message, please appreciate his efforts

*Zen*

Zen is familiar with how it feels to not be comfortable in your own skin, he may be on the opposite side now, but the feeling can still be recalled

You are well aware of his selfie obsession, but that doesn't make you nay less uncomfortable with taking pictures all the time.

If you tell him you don't want to take a selfie with him, he will start to get worried but respect your wish overall

But then, there is nothing you can do when his fans catch you out on a date and the photos eventually flood all your social media, either for good or bad

Zen had noticed that you were in a bad mood lately but didn't want to pressure you into telling him, until one particular day he found you on the verge of crying, in the corner of the sofa, knees meeting your chest and quiet sobs surrounding you

Before you can tell him anything or give any excuse, he is already in possession of your phone and his face already displaying wrath to all those terrible comments

"babe, babe, listen to me. Hey! Here... you are beautiful" he told you while putting the phone  beside you and guiding his hands to your face so you can't look away

"No Zen, they are right, I am not near half your level... I... maybe I shouldn't even be seen with you" you said in between sobs while softly putting them away, which filled his heart with a tremendous pain

"MC, I... you, you are" Zen started to mumble as it seemed like he knew words weren't enough to pacify your emotions. So, he took your face in between his hands and gently placed a kiss in your nose, then your forehead and he kept on trailing more kisses all over your face, and occasionally your lips when you wanted to dispute it

*Jaehee*

While she was working for Jumin, she really had no time to breathe, so it was only after you both were spending more time in the coffee shop that she noticed more things about you.

like how you would sometimes spend too much time in front of the mirror using your finger to try and move your face around, to hide some parts. And other times you would avoid mirrors altogether.

So she tries to do something about it, and well, she had some stationary from C&R

Using it, she left posts around the house and the coffee shop for you, each with a nice message for you

Jumin is not the best at pointing out this kind of thing, and it would never cross his mind that you are not beautiful

In fact, he has commissioned portraits of you and most of them are in his office. But he is also a man of details, and the way you look at yourself does not go completely unnoticed by him

And it would not be practical to try and beat around the bush, so he directly asked you if the portraits were not of your liking

"well, it's not it, the artist is very talented but..." you answered trying to look away from those serious eyes that tried so hard to see through you

"But...?" He mimicked, waiting for you to continue

"I... well, the subject, me, that's what makes it awkward yo know?"

"No, I don't know MC. I am failing to understand what you mean" He retaliated firmly, making you sigh in defeat

"I... I am really insecure about the way I look, and I know it's not easy to explain, but... it's just, I can't look at myself sometimes" You spotted out so fast that Jumin had no time to react and stood there for some seconds to organize his thoughts because he knew that it would take more than a couple of compliments to make you change your mind

His only instinct was to get close to you and gently grab both of your hands in his, while slowly pressing both of your foreheads

"I really don't know how to tell you that you have the most beautiful features, but I will gladly remind you of it every time it is necessary my love"

He also lets you know if they're one thing that could make you feel better, he will gladly give it to you as soon as possible, let it be surgery, any treatment, or just his unconditional admiration for you  

(Lowkey feel like he could/would kinda change the whole beauty standards for you so...)

*Saeyoung*

He is better at catching up with this kind of stuff, and if you ever make a self-deprecating joke, if you ever do the "I'm so ugly jsjsjsj" thing, he, he is ready to fight you

He is ready to tell you how incredibly amazing, cute, and the breath-taking person you are.

But at the same time, he feels too awkward to say anything to you, he feels that is something that is not easy for you, and because of that, he will try to make you feel better without you even knowing

Your phone and computer are hacked with small messages complimenting you every now and then

When you walk around the house, the cat robot is always calling you the cheesiest names

And he overexaggerates his reactions when he sees you, "Oh God! It hurts, it hurts so much" he'll say falling to his knees like he is dying

"Shut, Saeyoung are you okay?!"

"Yeah, yeah I'm fine, you are just too beautiful," he says while getting up

"Oh my god, stop doing that," you say, not believing his words and going back to whatever you were doing

"But... you know it's true right?" he asks gathering up all his courage

"what?"

"That you unbelievable beautiful," answers while wrapping himself around you in hopes you find truth in his words

*Saeran*

As well as other members, I don't think he will catch on it easily. Because it's something that you try to hide, something you are not proud of.

Saeyoung probably brings it up during one of those nights there are chatting and drinking dr.pepper, and he from then on he keeps a tab on everything you do that could be related to that

And it bothers him, it really does, when you don't appreciate the way you are. Because he did the same for so long, and he keeps doing it sometimes, so he understands how hard it is to get rid of the voices that bring you down while looking in the mirror

When you hide your face in his chest, he doesn't know why you do it, when cover his eyes before kissing him, he tries not to twist those nice moments

Saeran will want to encourage you in some many ways, he tries so many times to tell you how pretty and adorable you look. But words always fail him

So he prepares to tell you in the language he knows the best. And it's not coding

He will start to give you small bouquets and note with their meaning, if he can't find the flower it will be a drawing. Flowers to communicate your beauty, your kindness and the power that lies inside you

With him, it comes out pretty fast

Because he is dying to fill his gallery with the images of you, but you always refuse to take pictures of your face

And he is not new to shy models, not at all, so what does he do?

He begs you to give him a chance, just one photoshoot and that's all. If you feel uncomfortable he will not ask again after that one, but let him try just one time to capture your beauty

And after many pleas and many kisses, you accept his offer and he is the happiest man on earth.

But even after taking the photos, you refuse to look at them since you never like any of your pictures

Again he asks you to trust him, and you do.

You gasp in awe while looking at the most beautiful photos of yourself you have ever seen. Almost crying, because for once you can see someone really pretty and beautiful in there

"This is what I am blessed to look at every day, and I will not trade it for the world," said V pleased with your reaction

Tbh I haven't played MM for a while because I am one of the people cheritz decided(?) to delete acc for whatever reason plus not enought space on the phone orz but I wanna do it anyway ^^

12. Favorite chat

Hmm first thing that comes to my mind is chat in AS with Ray after kiss <3 But I like as well one of the first chats at night CS where Yoosung comes for a while and he tries to pretend he is a wolf? but eventually give up on it haha I always choose to tease him lol.

21. Favorite character interaction with each other

Except for Saeran and Saeyoung brothers moment (which is very rare) hm... Can't decide between Seven teasing Yoosung or Zen. Sometime I feel bad for Yoosung.

35. First impression for each character

Yoosung I thought he is cute and kinda similar to me. When I started playing MM he was 1 year older than me I guess. He was cute, sweet and adorably clumsy haha but back then I couldn't understand why he was failing classes all the time and thought "get a grip dude, for once. You go to the library more or less regularly. What do you do there, sleep? You could do a little bit better than F..." Now I know haha ^^; But I don't fail classes... also I'm not med student in Korean Ivy uni(?) so...

Jaehee Tbh the very first time I thought she is guy... sorry lol and Later she seemed to be very nice although reserved(?) or rather serious, until someone mentioned Zen or his musicals, and I thought "okay, so you are more normal than I thought... sort of ^^;;" An I actually treated her like big sister or good friend to almost very end. I finished her route as one of the last, because while playing I messed up something with participation, got BE , started another route and forgot about it.

Zen So he always have been the cool popular sexy flirty type... so not my taste. Since I remember I never liked such people because in the past I met at least few who were like that and they were just judging, narrow-minded, and couldn't understand that I am different from them and feel good with that (f.ex. I am introvert). For long I felt like I can't even trust too much such people. I rather avoided them if I could, no grudge, just two different worlds. I noticed Zen is okay. Still two different worlds, but I alway treated him like an older brother.

Jumin he was from the world of 'adults' so serious, boring and something I totally couldn't get. Until he tried to tell a joke sometimes, It often was awkward but I appreciated it lol I picked Jaehee over him because I was pretty sure I never could even keep up with her workload. I am allergic to cats so I have never been a cat person... First he felt distant because his seriousness, but I felt him and supported him when I noticed he doesn't want to nececerly date just anyone, he is just waiting for someone he can trust, probably doubting such person exists. I know this might be because his father's relationships and such, but back then I felt almost like "yeah, you don't nececerly need to be in a relationship or desperately crave to be in one. As a single you are not less worthy as a human". That many craves for physicality and such, which is cool, but understanding, love, apreaciation support and even platonic feeling in romantic relationship? Gosh I feel like those thing are underpreciated. And we shared the need not to just date someone but find someone who understand them. For a short moment I wanted to be such person.

Seven/Saeyoung I don't really remember, but probably I thought that for such people I am too quiet and boring so If by any chance there won't be much interaction MC with him, that's fine, but there was, he was funny, I thought about him as a good friend untill I come across breaking 4th wall thingy and got more interested, like we share a secret *sink wink* Eventually I liked him more and more and even planned to stop playing after his SE but soon after they announced something new. I am IT highschool graduate (I sucked pretty much OTL so I felt similar to Yoosung) and I still remembered thing or two and well... I choose such hs for some reason so I kinda liked his tech-savvy IT programming jokes and I was more religious than I am today so I apreaciated the christian part. I wanted to help him so badly i think. And he is kinda weirdo(in a good way), I consider myself shy weirdo, but probably less than he is.

Saeran/Ray *cracking knuckles* so... When I first met him as an Unknown my common sense tried to keep me from him as far as possible, I gave up to this but kinda I was almost like peeking throught the keyhole in the locked door lol I-it's not like i like him, he is so sus > :-( and a bit later I-I defenitely am not into bad boy kind of characteres, others might be, but I am NOT (but peeking throught keyhole of the locked doors). I was kinda interested, but never let myself actually be really interestedin him, untill the end of SE where he is back with his brother. Then I was thinking more like "preacious (angy) bean, must protect uwu". And I mostly wanted to play his route for A. curiosity because new mode(AS), B satisfaction for myself that I actually finished the game, but most importantly C. To save HIM for SAEYOUNG :)

But when I played AS for the first time, when there was only V route, I forgot everything, got few times bad relationship ending because of him. V who? Saeyoung who? Head empty only him. And then It was almost like in case of Yoosung that I saw in him part of me, plus head empty, only Ray.

Sometime I feel like it was so shallow of me, but then I think that this is a game, and maybe, just maybe I can be 'a little' shallow in that case.

Especially since for the very first time I was... obsessed? with a fictional character. I've never understood such thing.
