I know we all complain about Nat’s roots but honestly I do love the symbolism of her roots not really growing out until after Javi’s death and her being crowned the new antler queen. Like it’s this physical representation of her slowly transforming into the Nat we know her as in the adult timeline. I love that the first time we really see those roots peeking out is when she has her most significant shift into something darker and more hardened. The blond represents her soft self, and the more we see the brown start to grow in, the more Nat and her morals have changed.
I definitely don’t think the writers intended that but I’m going to give them the benefit of the doubt.

can i say something. Enstarries obsession with having arashi wear a skirt or a dress or dress up in pink or whatever because She's a Girl is really fucking annoying and i think some of you need to stop relying on articles of clothing to confirm an already canonically trans womans gender identity. her being a woman doesnt mean she needs to stop wearing pants. and she also does not need to abide by the cisheteronormative view of what being a girl is in order to be a girl either. does she need to look like a barbie doll for you to process her as a canonical woman or something. let her have her own unique identity and preferences and tastes and treat her like her own individual person holy fuck. And also fuyume isnt even wearing a skirt and even if they were they wouldnt have been the first enstars character to do so thank you
