i really love the idea that the TARDIS loves Yaz. like the way she shocked the Master when he tried to touch Yaz’s post-it notes, i feel like she’s got such a soft spot for her. i like to imagine she purposefully runs really smoothly while Yaz is learning to pilot her and the Doctor starts grumbling about how she never does as she’s supposed to for them. or maybe the TARDIS keeps setting up thasmin moments by tilting at just the right time to make them bump into each other by the console, or constantly rearranging the rooms to lead the Doctor to Yaz so they can finally talk. she’s so exasperated at her ridiculous thief for fumbling this amazing girl so hard and she’s sick of it

eastward update/writer’s ramble: ever since it went on hiatus, i have been working HARD on it, creating a checklist for things i needed to edit, letting it marinates for days at a time before coming back to check it with fresh eyes, i even connected one dissonant theme to the main one, and when i did that, i felt like i could BREATHE fr. now all that’s left is to write the last chapter

It's honestly crazy that discussion around testosterone HRT skews so much towards the beginning stages of it (to the point that you have dozens of guys thinking their transition is "failed" if they don't pass by like a year in lol) and what the initial changes of the first couple of months to years look like, like the classic laundry list of those early basic changes like bottom growth, voice drop, etc, when IMO literally none of that compares remotely to the depth and intensity of the long term total masculinization you start to experience like 3-5+ years in.

OK so this made me think... I'm not sure if this moment means something but assuming she did figure out something here, Agatha may be wondering why this "trial" didn't have death coming for all of them.

Because the first two water and fire trials did have everyone in danger. They all had to drink the deadly poison. Agatha would know, the trial was in fact very insistent about the entire coven drinking.

In the fire trial, everyone in the coven (minus Rio because she's special) got burnt. Lilia, Jen, Agatha. Alice was even burnt again at the end with the demon on her shoulders.

And what Billy said in the previous ep: Am I part of the coven? Blessings and burdens alike.

Why was this "trial" set up to fuck her over specifically? Even though Alice and Jen were tested in the previous two they weren't the only ones targeted.

While she being possessed did mean some amount of danger for the others, they handled her possessed form pretty well.

Something's not quite right here...

Lilia says ominously to both of them, "Death… comes for us all."

Immediately, you can see the gears in Agatha's head turning. Something is up, and she's figured something out. I think we will find out in a few episodes. Very much a Chekov moment.

A bit late to the party, but can we bring back hairsticks as an accessory for persons with long hair? They're so pretty and stylish!

I mean, look how many different styles there are! And they come in so many colors and types of decorations, you can pretty much match them to any outfit or updo.

And they come in wood and acrylic too, if that's more your bag.

And they're lovely simple (very very pointy) hair accessories.

And nothing else.
