if you're so inclined, would you draw Adonis (or anyone from undead who catches your attention)? You're incredibly skilled at capturing character likeness, it's so cool to see your take on characters :)
Tumblr media
Sorry for the delay in responding, I hope you like this little drawing I did of Adonis, it was the first time I drew him (it was a full body drawing but I ended up not really liking how it turned out), I intend to draw the other members of the undead when I have more time and when my health is better 💜💜 and I'm super happy that you liked my drawings, I put a lot of time and care into them, I hope I managed to make a drawing that matches Adonis

hey everyone! sorry, no post today (have to prepare to travel tmr) but i do want to address something real quick ^^;
as you may have noticed by now, life is unfortunately still happening for me, and i currently have no idea when i can actually get back to a regular schedule, which means im going to have to make this semi-hiatus indefinite. absolute best case scenario i can see myself fully committing to this again by october, worst case would probably be in about a year. again, this doesn't mean no posts in this period of time, just not daily anymore for the time being :[
to everyone who have sent in suggestions that haven't been responded to, sorry about the delay, i'll get to them as soon as i have the energy to, thank you for your patience
once again, thank you to all of you for your support, wish you great days ahead <3

@katblu42
@riallasheng can you please clarify for me . . . are Fleetway and Redan publishers of comics?
Sorry for the overly long delay in responding to this! Between moving and essentially no notifs, I missed your reply/comment until just now!
Yes, Fleetway and Redan are comic magazine publishers ^^
Fleetway was published in the 1990s by Fleetway Magazine as 'New Thunderbirds' (they also did a comic magazine for Stingray and Captain Scarlet) Fleetway was a mix of new material and old (tv21 comic stories were reprinted in the Fleetway run, generally taking up about half of the page count, although they were essentially in 'broadcast' order, that is they were published in the order of 'the publishers put the stories they liked best/felt were strongest at the start and had the 'weaker' stories towards the end... which given the fact that tv21 actually HAD continuity did cause some issues XD) For the new material, Fleetway had their own original comic stories that were set in the TOS universe, about.... 6? comic retellings of canon episodes (that were actually really good!), cover stories, and of course the 'Complete Thunderbirds Story' which is most well known for canonizing the fan created name of Lucille for the Tracy Mom, and canonizing what is actually officially the WRONG date for the setting (Fleetway's Complete TB story set Thunderbirds in 2024, the TV show and tv21 comics and novels were set in 2065). Complete Thunderbirds is still a decent read, and has enough solid points pulled from the bios and the like to make it fun from a lore standpoint as well. Fleetway also is the only time we have Gordon's hydrofoil accident mentioned/shown outside of the bios!
Redan was published in the early 2000s, and were shorter comic strips (usually 1 page / 10 or so panels). Done in a more colorful and simple art style, as well as being a bit more 'kid friendly / kid focused' then Fleetway or even the og TV show was (absoLUTly more 'kid' centric then tv21 or the novels). It's still set in the TOS 'verse' though. ^^ Decent enough comics, though they tended to be more straight forward ^_^ All of the comics in Redan were new and original plots.
As ever, I have scans of almost all the comics (and novels) so if anyone wants to be able to read them, drop me a DM and I'll send ye a link ^^
Do any Thunderbirds fans know where the fact that Gordon was involved in a hydrofoil crash originated? I’ve only watched the original series and either it was a single line that I missed or just wasn’t mentioned. The wiki doesn’t mention where it got the hydrofoil info either. Is it just a TAG thing that has been retroactively superimposed onto the original series? Or from an old tie-in novel? Or something?? If anyone knows I would be grateful!

do you ship N and V?
Well, I think they make a very cute couple (if it's well written) so I could say yes
I like N x V past, the idea of two shy robots in love with each other is very cute 🩷
And in the present, well, I think it would need to make a good development for both characters (because of certain things that don't fit me personally) but I like it a lot too :D

Can we say that Tsukasa have some brother complex on Amane? And Amane has brother issues with Tsukasa?
Well, there are many theories out there that talk about the brother complex, usually pointing out similar things, yes, the manga/anime itself made a satire about it.
The "brother complex" was used in some theories with that still suspicious tone about the "strange" relationship that the twins had, in addition to the suspicion of abuse (an old theory that spread and that was not proven).
Tumblr media
But, in reality, the term is used to describe the complicated relationships that some people have with their siblings. It can be about things like jealousy, rivalry, or even emotional dependence.
For example, it can happen that a person always tries to compete with their sibling, or feels that they need their approval to feel good. It can also be the opposite, where someone feels very attached to their sibling, in a way that can hinder their own development or emotional independence.
Tumblr media
These types of feelings or behaviors can arise because of how siblings interact throughout life, especially if there are many conflicts or, on the contrary, they are too close.
Tsukasa loves too much to the point of sacrificing himself for the person he loves. Where his life is not as important as that of another person, in this case, his brother. In addition, the feeling of abandonment he had when he believed that Amane hated him also indicates traits of this complex, after all, he wanted to hear or feel that he was loved (approved) by him, and without this feeling, he believed that nothing was worth it.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
So we can say that it is something mutual. Tsukasa wants to run away, and Amane wants to save him at all costs.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
They want to be together, but at the same time apart.
There is something between them that drives them apart. And you already know what it is.

Hello!!!!
I'm writing a rivals to lovers office AU and am in need of some inspiration. Can you please do a list of office AU prompts? I don't mind if they get suggestive.
Absolutely! (Also thank you for being the first person to request prompts :3)
Character A and character B have issues with their work computers at the same time, and the poor IT guy has to deal with their bickering while fixing the computers
The printer is constantly breaking and A can’t help but snidely remark on B’s struggle every time it happens
B critiques A’s work whenever they get the chance, claiming A needs to do better if they want to get up to B’s level (the criticism is actually kind of helpful, just poorly worded)
B’s desk is across from A’s, leading to stare-downs when the other seems to be slacking on work and eyebrow raises when personal calls are taken
A leaves anonymous sticky notes on B’s desk about office drama, rumors, and random news stories to see what sort of conversations B likes (B usually looks at these with confusion, throwing them away buT THEY KEEP SHOWING UP WHY)
In the company project group chat, A and B don’t acknowledge each other outside of emoji reactions unless it is necessary
They are forced to work together on a major project with much longer hours than they expected, leading to sleep deprived A actually being nice to B in the mornings (they share a quiet moment at the coffee machine)
B’s ex comes into the office as another company’s assistant, and A can’t help but be concerned at the grimace and pain in B’s eyes
A starts using the printer incidents to ask about B’s history and get to know them better
A celebration at work includes a happy hour, so B dresses up just a little more than usual and A cannot stop staring
B notices A is lingering around their desk more and teases them about wanting to take their spot (A definitely wants to take them in a fight right?)
A’s car won’t start in the parking lot, so B offers to jump it… it’s the first time seeing B less professional (let’s get those sleeves rolled up and a couple buttons loosened from the button-down)
The AC breaks while only a couple people are in office, meaning it’s up to A and B to try and fix it while waiting on maintenance, leading to B on a ladder and A most definitely trying to not stare at their butt
C, an older friend at the office, retires and throws a massive party where A and B get a little too drunk, and B accidentally compliments A instead of criticizing them (A doesn’t know how to process it and B refuses to acknowledge this ever happened)
After A openly disagrees with one of B’s ideas, B confronts them privately, getting a little too close as A is stubborn and standing firm (give me that tension you can cut with a knife, give me that turn away because otherwise one of them will do something they regret)
B finds A asleep at their desk one morning and can’t decide whether to wake them up for the meeting or to let them sleep longer because this is definitely not normal for A
Turns out A worked their ass off to get a major promotion, one that B was eyeing for a while, which makes B jealous and get a little snappy
A is shifted to another area of the office and an annoying coworker, C, takes over the old spot. B finds the change welcoming and unsettling (“They’re not here to bother me anymore…” “That’s a good thing!” “… Yes. I suppose you’re right.”)
B is called into A’s office to discuss another coworkers’ weird behavior, which gives A the opportunity to call B out on their behavior around A
“It’s like on day one of me working here, you put a note in your calendar that said to torment me whenever you could.”
“You’ve gone from criticizing everything I do to actually being somewhat nice and helpful and then right back to being an absolute prick! I don’t understand it at all. What changed? You still seem to hate me, so why be so kind? Why?”
B doesn’t respond with words, just by slowly reaching out to touch A’s hand and swiftly pulling them into a kiss (ideally B would explain more later but that’s up to you hehe)

So one thing that irks me about discussions of the NCR is the idea that "they're flawed because they're trying to be America again. And Being Too Much America is what caused the War" without differentiating between the vast buildup of Nuclear Weapons and Geopolitical tensions, versus, like, being a republic and having a large-scale central state.
What's your thoughts?
I think the NCR circa New Vegas is textually intended to be repeating the USA's downward spiral. They're in the process of recreating the core dynamics of pre-war America- overconsumption of resources driving imperialist expansion, capture of the government by moneyed interests, and a prolonged conflict with a peer power that's suffering under similar expand-or-die pressures- but they're constrained from a one-to-one recreation mainly by the fact that they're working with a post-apocalyptic resource base, with the scraps left over from the last people who went down this path. Peanuts compared to the Sino-American war, but likely as close to that situation as the post-war-world is logistically capable of producing.
You see bits of this from the NCR perspective all throughout the game. There Stands the Grass is propelled by projections of incipient famine in the NCR due to rapid population growth, and you see the beginnings of this in Flags of Our Foul-Ups- O'Hanaran was sent to the Army by his family to lessen their food burden. Chief Hanlon's very first line is about how the NCR is overtaxing most sources of freshwater within the core territory, and he recounts how tiny groups of settlers backed by NCR logistics were able to take and hold a well in Baja against scores of locals; IIRC there's a cut event at Camp Golf itself where you'd see NCR rangers doing the same thing to Mojave locals encroaching on their water supply. The White Wash demonstrates that the NCR's sharecropping setup in outer Vegas operates at the expense of the locals, who can only get the water they need to support their own crops via subterfuge. If you assume that Heck Gunderson's underhanded Brahmin-farming empire in Beyond the Beef is supposed to parallel the real-world problems with the sustainability of beef farming, you start to get a sense of where all of that water is going and what structural problems (Heck Gunderson) might be in the way of allocating those resources more sustainably. There are likely more examples of this storm on the horizon that I'm forgetting.
As a result of all this, there's a level on which I think introducing the Tunnelers in Lonesome Road as a dangling White-Walker style Looming Apocalyptic Reset Option hanging over the west coast was gratuitous, not because it's Avallone grinding his axe with the idea of society rebuilding, but because it's simply redundant with the political situation already depicted in the base game- If you want the NCR to have collapsed by a future installment, just establish that they weren't able to put the brakes on in time and devolved into a completely dysfunctional oligarchy that collapsed under its own weight!
(Now, as a final note, one thing preventing me from fully committing to this take is that we honestly don't have a fantastic sense of what day-to-day life looks like for the average citizen in the NCR heartland, which I feel is kind of important. Because if the textual situation is supposed to be that the resource crisis is due to misallocation due to interests capturing the government, I like that a lot better than if the situation is genuinely intended to be that there are Just Too Many Goddarn People, because that's like. Lazy and Malthusian and leads to the usual ugly conclusions pretty quickly. More and more it's looking like the upcoming Fallout TV show is leaning into the recent decline of the NCR as a plot point, so, uh, fingers crossed they stick the landing when it comes to fleshing that out?)

Hi! I've never done this before but I'm new to comics (started with WFA and Zatanna and the Ripper) and I've basically got most of my information from posts on tumblr and r/hobbydrama (including yours.) I think I have a general idea of what Jason Todd is like, but I believe a lot of people are unhappy with his new characterisation.
So, if you were the one in charge, how would you write him? Would you write him with a team or as a solo character? Would you have him use the All-Blades or a crowbar or his guns? Would you have him properly rejoin the batfam or not?
Thanks!
Hi! Welcome to the fandom! I hope you're enjoying your time here.
In general, I think DC (and the fandom) has spent too much time milking Jason's death for trauma porn. They have refused to allow him to find closure, move past that, and exist beyond his daddy issues drama with Bruce. When DC has allowed him to have stories outside of that, they were often written with little consideration for what should be done with Jason beyond making him "badass."
None of this has been conducive to creating any kind of satisfying and coherent narrative or character arc for Jason, especially when both writers and editorial seem more obsessed with stealing traits, relationships, and stories from other people to give to him (most prominently Dick, Selina, and Helena). My hottake is that DC should move beyond "Red Hood" as an identity for Jason entirely, because it drags his character down and keeps him inherently tied to the same problems that have kept his character stagnant for years.
However! I don't think he's unsalvagable. I simply think DC needs to put a decent writer on him and commit to a character direction for more than 2 years at a time. I'm unsure of what Shawn Martinbrough is currently doing with Jason in his The Hill arc, as I'm not reading it, but I've heard that there might be some forward momentum finally happening there?
Anyway, my personal conception of Jason's future (as lovingly brainstormed by me and my friends in our comics discord server) is effectively this: he becomes a street-level paranormal detective who solves cold murder cases by talking with the victims' ghosts and providing closure to restless spirits. Think Lockwood and Co. meets Pushing Daisies with a superhero twist; basically, a supernatural detective noir book.
There's a lot of concepts and lore drops tied into this idea, but basically it was born out of a discussion where I was talking about Jason's many connections with the supernatural and occult across all continuities and how it's kind of a mystery why DC hasn't just formally connected him to the mystical side of the DCU. So I was like "they should just reveal that Superboy-Prime’s reality punch resurrection left him LITERALLY undead, make the event where he finds this out also spark his ability to see and communicate with ghosts, and make him an occult detective. Let him close cold case murder files and put those spectres to rest."
Which is also a great premise for a Bat book and a great unfilled niche for a Batfamily member. Kate's supernatural stories are much more high concept and connected to her family drama. Damian's supernatural/occult connections are traditionally very heavily tied to his family history and the Lazarus Pits. Dick's semi-regular magic encounters are usually stuff he deals with alongside his teammates in the course of working with the Titans. None of the other Bats have enough regular encounters with the supernatural and magic side of the DCU for it to encroach on their shtick, and a Gotham-based supernatural book is well within DC's ability to publish and market given books like Gotham by Midnight.
In terms of how that direction affects all the other questions you asked...I think Jason's relationship with the rest of the Batfam should be complicated. I personally don't think "good/bad relationship with the Batfam" is a particularly useful way to look at it because I think there are people he should never see eye to eye with, people he realistically shouldn't and doesn't have a problem with, and people he should get along with just fine. I don't think everyone needs to or should be friends or enemies with him, but his morals and past actions will (and should!) complicate those relationships in interesting ways.
And re: what weapons I'd like to see him use...using the All-Blades would certainly factor into my proposed narrative direction, as that would lean into the supernatural connections, but I generally prefer the concept of Jason using knives as his preferred weapon over guns/a crowbar/etc. That way he can still be a marksman without using guns, and I think that fits more with his character trajectory as someone attempting to be less lethal but also has no problem roughing people up when he thinks they need to be.

which songs off of mayhem remind you of will and why?
1. Disease 🦠 - accepting oneself completely, including the parts that fill one with shame, is something that resonates deeply with Will's story. His impending struggle with Vecna, who'll likely oppress and possess him, makes this song even more pertinent. In order to overcome Vecna's influence, Will needs to face what he fears about himself.
2. Perfect Celebrity ⭐️ - the lyrics " You love to hate me / I'm the perfect celebrity" present an astute observation on the tempestuous nature of fame. It's this same kind of attention that you can find in conversations, disparagements, rants, tangents, etc. that surround Will and Noah.
3. Vanish Into You 🌫️ - one word: yearning. The wistful sentimentality expressed in this song is poignant--and quintessential Will. It makes my heart ache a bit. That desperate longing to be seen by the one you love, but they're gone. It's a loneliness Will understands.
4. Zombieboy 🧟 - this is an obligatory, superficial, addition. But, c'mon! That's his moniker, and Gaga performed this at TUDUM just for him /j

Unfortunately, there will not be another chapter of Gilded Silks and Linens for at least another week, but I am making progress on getting back into the swing of it. Apologies to anyone who has been looking forward to that, I swear it is coming.
This has been hampered, not by the one-shot series that rudely skipped to the front of the line, but by a completely different concept that has been rolling around in my head for a while that somehow led to me writing a personal best number of words today*.
So...that will probably be up in the next couple days as a one shot. Be warned, it is DEFINITELY the darkest thing I will have put on Ao3 up to this point. And that fully includes all the dystopian omegaverse stuff.
Anyway. Sorry for the delay. There is no particular factor on the delay other than the fact that my inspiration has been throwing me curveballs and I have a limited amount of energy.
*aka the day I had slated for recovery from the trip I just got back from and chores its fine I'm fine i only sort of needed to do laundry today

Hello, how are you? Thanks for all the amazing mods!! I want to know do you take mod requests? If so how much? I would love a auction mod for the art appraisal career
Hello! I'm good thank you for asking. I hope you're well too?
I have taken requests in the past but I've done it selectively because modding can take a lot of time and energy. I don't currently have a lot of free modding time outside of my own projects (of which I currently have too many lol).
However, somebody else actually has come to me with this idea and I've seen a few other simmers brainstorming along these lines.
So, even though I won't be able to take on this project, there's a good chance something like this will be made sooner or later :)

hey do you remember any cgs where it had ace and david (and maybe other people idr) holding a card with ace looking to the left and being cocky and david kind of being apprehensive? i found it in a gif but even though i thumbed through every episode i can't seem to find it...
Tumblr media
i think you're probably thinking of this one? you can't get Ace being cocky on screen at the same time as David (without editing) but he is cocky and holding the card right before this. here's a link to the episode/timecode.

Do you think Tsukasa underestimated the Clock keepers? Like even Hanako was trying to avoid going after their yorishiro. He said it was because they are more reliable in full power, but I think even he would have trouble in a three vs one fight. Or he got back the memory of the time he tried to make the old clock work when he was alive, and had met them before (just Kako and Mirai, the present Clock keepers was someone else), but didnt remember.
In fact, I think Tsukasa planned everything from the beginning. Even before he became the yorishiro, the twins already had a certain interest in the clock.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Remember that Tsukasa also controls time (using the red house), which suggests that they were using number one for a purpose. The fact that they changed time made the entity stronger, and yet, that doesn't seem to be Tsukasa's real goal.
Twelve-year-old Tsukasa appeared to Nene on purpose to tell her that time would become unstable, in other words, he knew.
Tumblr media
In reality, everything that is happening in the whole story seems to be something planned by Tsukasa, and he is using number one for a greater purpose, which we still don't know what it is.
They need the powers of number one to change something (something that the past Amane tried but failed to do).
Tumblr media
Tsukasa single-handedly took down the three, Akane, Kako and Mirai, and that's remembering that he wasn't focused on killing anyone, he wanted Yorishiro, so can you imagine the damage Tsukasa would do if he was really serious about killing them?
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
He "killed" the clock keepers in search of Yorishiro (who he thought was inside them) not because the intention was to actually kill them.
If that was the intention, he would use another method.
One thing I advise, don't underestimate Tsukasa, this boy is a box of surprises XDDDDDDDDDD.
