Raising my hand to say I like all 4 of them but I fucking hate that hylia has been made as a one and true God to every people group in hyrule, it's not great world building and based on how hylia has been talked about in SkSw it makes no since why anyone BUT the Hylians and Sheikah would worship her, Hylia is a Goddess for the Hylians only because that's the only group she cares about.

I know from a stance on creator gods throughout culture and history they don't get as much attention as compared to broader more mass appeal gods ( as an example can you name one Greek primordial deity) I mean this is diffeent when it comes to Abrahamic religions of course because of monotheism but okay I'm getting off track. Basically the world building for Hyrule going from polytheism to monotheism can work but I don't think it would be HYLIA...... she's as states A. Specified to a single people group B. Is more absent than the Trio after sksw since we learn in totk that OTHER DEITIES CAN POSSESS HER STATUES AND TALK THROUGH THEM.

Hylia is really good flavor through a lens of like fictional anthropology, she's like cilantro, you don't want a pile of it!!!!!!!!! And the only reason I can assume nintendo went down the route of making her as the one God is because how much more focus recently they have been focusing on like, the royal family and zelda herself recently and I assume trying to make a backstory for why the royal family has powerful holy magic.

Okay now to really go down that Doylist shit

It has been stated that Hylia is a mixture of Amateratsu and well Christianity (despite what SOME people try to say about the Christians angle, she's specifically catholic and Japan's history with absolutely LOVING the catholic aesthetic when it comes to media ) like Hylia as a Goddess is clearly a parallel to.....oh God japanese imperialism and how it wasn't THAT BAD or some shit and I think it's funny that nintendo has doubled down on this basically by trying more and more to make the royal family in the game justified in any and all actions they take.

And given that Ninetndo has a bunch of aging men who are probably becoming more and more conservative as time goes on the more conservative angle of the recent games starts to make more since (this isn't to say the Zelda series HASNT been conservative in the past it very much is, but more blatantly recently, a lot of recent world building decisions may also be influenced by Nintendo's obvious stalking of Youtubers given how TotK turned out.)

Basically, I am sorry op but this was gonna be a comment and it was too big, the Trio is super cool and the fact Nintendo hasn't really brought them up or used them recently is really uncreative and the fact they kinda dropped hylia for an idea of her in the games points to some shit going on in the writing room, and it's probably because they wanted to make more safe even more broad appeal games than they have done in the past given the apprent financial failure of Wind Waker and that SkSw was so....linear.

Little Danny's Big Adventure

New idea.

Let's put in some Ghost King/Prince Danny.... But also some deaged to toddlerhood Danny that gets yeeted into the DCverse!

Like imagine, tiny baby Danny with his tiny crown of ice floating above his head and his galaxy cape wrapped around him and uses it like a baby blanket. He didn't mean to fall into a different universe, a natural portal opened up and he was being a curious little thing! He didn't mean to trip and fall in during his nap time.

Nor was he expecting to fall into this realm during a rogue attack and knock out said rogue cause they were being a meanie and harming people and now Danny just wants his nap time cause he spent a lot of his tiny engery and he wants to find a nice spot.

Danny finds a place to crash, snuggling himself into his cape and the astronaut bear Danielle got him during her last visit that he takes everywhere since.

He's out like a light as the door to this safe house that belongs to one of the Bats opens up.

Meanwhile. In the Infinite Realms, Queen Regent Jazz is going into Mama Bear Jazz Mode trying to find her deaged brother, keeping the Realms in check, and is resisting the urge to put CW in time out Soup Time because he's being cyptided again about Danny whereabouts!!! UGH!

Speaking of Barry being able to read Leonard Snart scarily well, imagine that Barry notices how Snart reacts to people Barry knows, and files that away in his opinions of that person

Barry is in the cortex with someone he finds kind of annoying but harmless, Snart walks in for Definitely-Not-Flirting-While-Doing-Business Reasons, and starts lowkey acting like this guy is an Immediate Threat that he's trying to act cool around to not set him off. And Barry immediately knocks like 5 points off of the "how much do i trust this guy" ranking. Subtly starts telling him less things, looks into what he's doing on the downlow, treats him as potentially suspicious And turns out... The guy does have bad intentions

Leonard comes in and meets some of Barry's new friends/coworkers, and clearly seems to mark one of them as more trustworthy/less of a threat than everyone else. And when Barry needs help or someone to confide in, he goes to that person over everyone else

Barry comes in to Saints and Sinners and sees a regular he's run into before, but hasn't seen interact with Snart. He thought the guy might be pretty cool. But today he walks into them talking, and Immediately sees that Snart is closed off, jumpy, does NOT like that guy in his space. And Barry immediately takes cues off of that, turns the guy down when he later asks to have drinks together next time Barry drops by Saints

If Snart seems unnerved by someone Barry knows, Barry trusts his instincts. Even if Leonard never says anything to Barry out loud, he still takes note of that. If Snart likes someone, or just thinks they're reliable, Barry will trust that instinct.

Even if Snart doesn't say his feelings out loud, Barry trusts him so innately that he will listen to Snart's instincts when it's clear he's feeling a type of way

my Stephanie Brown hot take is that she should get mad bitches now that she's single in comics. Yes yes shipping BUT the one time she had sex she was punished by the narrative via teen pregnancy. I think she should be allowed to have as much sex as she wants with zero consequences. Could be a lot of sex, could be a little. Like, yes, Gordon Freeman is an unstoppable force of nature, but he's also like. Just a guy. He's a nerd and probably a little overwhelmed with suddenly being this Big Hero™️ that everyone is in awe over.

He's the guy who single-handedly WRECKED the Citadel with nothing but the gravity gun, destroying everything and/or one in his path, but like. They kidnapped his friends. NOBODY touches his friends without feeling the wrath of ten thousand supernovas.

But he's also the guy who fiddles with stuff in his friends' labs like a kid in a candy store. He's a man of multitudes.

To me, Machete kind of has the energy of a secondary villain/coldhearted side character in someone else's story that a lot of fans latch onto, moreso than the protagonist. Question is, would he be the villain in anyone's story?

Why, thank you! I'm actually glad to hear he gives off that vibe. I don't think he set out to become a villain but a lot of people certainly view him as one.

Scoria and Sakura are best friends! It's so cute when I see the things they do together, and it makes me so beyond happy that they both came to live with me so that they could share their lives with each other. They absolutely insist on it, and does so much good for the other.

I can't imagine how else they could have found happiness if things hadn't worked out exactly as they did. Scoria has basically been Sakura's "emotional support snake" while she worked through things from her past I'll never fully know that caused her a lot of issues with panic and fear. Sakura knows this too, and looks out for her sister, the only one she truly trusts and feels completely safe with.

The moment they wake up they both want each other to snuggle and play with. Scoria loves to be affectionate with both me and her sister who seems to have not had this earlier in her life- but Scoria is showing her how nice it is not only directly but demonstrating with me and Sakura also trying, copying what she has seen her sister do.

Sometimes when one goes to check on the other they'll join in on... I'm not even sure what they were doing. But they had a good time while taking a mandated union break from digging tunnels for the isopods.

So happy I get to share in the adventures of these two best friends! It makes me so happy to see them living their best lives together, and being beyond content snuggled together with their found family.
