"We need more funds to fight organized crime! We need more funds to fight against the shootings!" What about the systemic crimes? What about the crimes that men commit against women? What about the crimes that barely 0.1% of offenders see ANY punishment for?? No?

I haven't posted in a while so here’s one of my folders in my notes app dedicated to lmk :)
a lot of people head canon that macaque smells like mango’s or plums or whatever stone fruit you associate him with but I think it would really awesome if he smelled like curry 24/7, it is in fact the only thing he knows how to make. AND HES GREAT AT IT. I think it would be really funny if he smelled like a whole thanksgiving, he smells like curry and can’t get rid of it.
-Now realizing that in the first episode in lmk Monie king took some of mks powers away so he could learn better, right? We never see swk give them back (and YES he did say Mk COULD get them back). Bro defeated LBD without his extra power not even MONKIE KING could beat her. IMAGINE WHAT MK COULD DO WITH HIS FULL POWER. LIKE CMON.
-i think that it would be cool if when Mac and swk were younger they would have a bad habit of when they talk they would get so rapped up in the situation and find themselves REALLY close to eachother and old habits die hard I guess because skip forward to Mk times and I  think they would still sometimes find themselves do that and immediately get REALLY embarrassed
Lmk coping mechanisms:
macaque: online shopping while murdering someone
Swk:He brushes his teeth, peach in mouth, struggling to yell at the cardboard cutout
Tang’s  is going to the noodle shop, and yes I’m insinuating that he’s stressed all the time
Sandys would be making collars for his cats, some cats have 2-3 collars because of this
Mk’s: he doesn’t have one, he bottles it up
Mei: she would go to one of those rooms where you can pay to break stuff
Bai he: she talks to macaque, he braids her hair while she rants, or they’re making curry
Redson: he makes little robots or he works on his cars that have atleast one epic transformation

I know it's been asked a lot and stuff but we're already halfway through thriller bark now, after this its sabaody archipelago which leads to amazon lily, which leads to marinfeord. IM SCARED, IF ACE DIES, IM GOING TO CRY. But besides that, I am curious to see how you will tackle the time skip being in ed's pov, will you have like multiple chapters of growth and then the time skip? Who will it be with, an oc, or an existing one piece character? I am interested in the interactions with whitebeard, marines, the warlords, etc. at marineford. If they are going to be there, but knowing them I think its safe to say they are going to be there. I can also imagine like ed and ace yelling at the top of their lungs to communicate during the war... but I swear to the god I have no faith and don't believe in... if ace dies, I will indeed find your house and make you suffer in financial deb- HAHAHAHA I'm kidding, I'm kidding, /j, /j, haha, I'm kidding... totally. But I'd be fine if he's scared, or lost a limb. JUST KEEP HIM ALIVE:praying hands:
Ok so don’t put me in debt please, me like my monies.
I’ve been thinking about how I want to do the timeskip because I could do the couple chapters at the end with training thing, or I could keep your asses in suspense and do a couple chapters at the beginning of the second work, or I could have a short extra work with snippets from the timetimeskip. The last one’s honestly what I’m leaning towards rn but we’ll see.
Y’all are always so ready to cry over Ace, please babes he looks like he doesn’t wash his hair. Would I kill a man who doesn’t wash his hair?? Huh???? Would I?????????

all day, i'm thinking about you !
starring: zb1 & some zumblrcord members warnings: jiwoong gets ageshamed (misa core), mentions of eating children, turkish alpha wolf, hanbin is a 'hater', taerae is delulu, cutie yujin, english isn't my first language!!! genre: uhm i have legit no idea. misc? synopsis: in a parallel universe where zb1 are the fans of zumblr… how do they act as fanboys? notes: zumblrcord people love this idea. are you a zb1 too? shoutout to moni @taerrrrrae for the elif evil editing idea! mentioned: elif @jinkiseason ; venom @zerobaseonefics ; irene @itaerae ; tea @teaxeee ; eris @keita-luv ; misa @terazono-keita
ZUMBLR (점브러) is a 9-member project group formed by MNET‘s survival show DELULU PLANET 999. They made their debut on July 4, 2023 with the mini album 'OLD AGE IN THE LIGHT' and the song 'Out Wilted'.
Fandom Name: ZB1 (ZeroBaseOne) Official Merch: a Zumblr mug🤓
kim jiwoong he's not as open about being a zb1 as the other boys. it's more like his secret identity. kim jiwoong at day, zb1 at night, he's basically like batman. he writes a lot of fanfictions but nobody knows about it, he uses a different name on the internet. he's part of the zb1 discord and gets roasted for his age regularly. he likes buying the zumblr albums and loves listening to their music, especially when he's jogging or cleaning his apartment. he's waiting for the day that one of members acts in a kdrama. his bias is elif.
zhang hao he's always uploading covers of zumblr songs. if singing covers, dance covers or violin covers doesn't matter. he uploads them and is fairly popular in the fandom. listens to every song the second a new album drops and is also big on streaming. he's also really into 'drama' surrounding zumblr. he still laughs about the way mnet tried evil editing "RAWRR turkish alpha wolf" elif into making it seem like she eats kids because they didn't want a furry in the line up. elif still made it as P04. hao can't decide for a bias.
sung hanbin he's the most well known zb1. he went viral for 'hating' on zumblr member venom (everybody knows he's utterly in love with her). he also writes fanfictions but he's more open about it. probably cries every night thinking about zumblrs future disbandment. he works in a coffeeshop and makes sure to regularly play zumblr songs in order to promote them further. he has like hundreds of fellow zb1 friends and moots online. he claims that he biases somebody else, but everybody knows that his bias is venom.
seok matthew he's the sweetest fan for real. he streams and votes a lot, he would feel guilty if not. he likes buying the albums and always makes sure to preorder them so he could receive extra benefits. he always has a photocard in his phone case and changes it regularly. he cried while watching the dp999 finale, even though his pick made it. he likes to upload funny videos about zumblr onto youtube (zumblr out of context eg) and has a big following too. his zumblr lightstick is his most beloved possession. his bias is chou, obviously.
kim taerae he's literally the most delulu out of all of them. he might not seem like it, but he definitely is. while hanbin and jiwoong are the ones writing the fanfictions, he's the one who's constantly reading them. he loves covering zumblr songs and uploading his singing onto youtube and tiktok. taerae rewatches delulu planet 999 often and is constantly sad about all the eliminated trainees. he really likes to trade his photocards for no specific reason. he's incredibly bad at voting and streaming though. he is an ot9.
shen ricky he's the kinda stan that owns EVERYTHING. he rich fr. albums? owns every single version of every album. seasons greeting? he has it. merch? best believe he buys every piece possible. concert tickets? he's spoiling himself with vip tickets. he has won multiple phone calls too and every other broke stan is incredibly jealous of him. he's talked to every member so far and literally went viral on multiple platforms for his obsession with zumblr because he posted about it. his bias is irene, as she's just as rich as him.
kim gyuvin he only speaks in zumblr references and has annoyed friends into becoming zb1s too. he runs a meme page / very popular fan page for zumblr. every other zb1 knows him. zumblr has even mentioned him in lives before. he buys every album (but only one version. he's kinda broke.) and decorates his room with some fan articles. he likes learning the dances. he goes to karaoke bars regularly and always puts zumblr songs on, his favorite being 'never', the solo song from chou. gyuvin changes his bias like every single day.
park gunwook he's the friend gyuvin annoyed into becoming a zb1. he started watching delulu planet 999 when it was already too late and almost ending and he really regretted not tuning in earlier. he's a big zb1 now even though his #1 pick (tea) didn't make it. but he's still a bit more chill compared to some other members. he doesn't buy albums because he wants to save up to go to one of their concerts instead. he streams zumblrs music kind of unintentionally as it's always playing on loop while he's his doing homework. he doesn't bias anyone in the group. (missing tea hours)
han yujin he watches all youtube videos about them while he's doing his homework. he once scribbled the zumblr logo on a test sheet and got an extra point because the teacher is also a zb1 (biased). he cries often because the maknae- eris- is younger than him. he likes to do dancing covers and uploads them on tiktok. he always saves up money in order to buy some albums or merch. he reads zumblr fluff whenever he's sad. has won a phone call once and made the member 'fall in love' with him as he's just too cute. his bias is eris.
bonus:
terazono keita really doesn't give a fuck about zumblr. he only cares about misa who sadly didn't make the cut and only placed P12 in the dp999 finals.
lee seunghwan is unemployed. he spends his free time listening to zumblr music.

Katy's masterpost of "what the hell is hookhausen and why are you so obsessed with it?????" aka the hookhausen video primer!!!!
It took me awhile and a LOT of help (thank you so much friends!!!!) to get all of these videos compiled and in the right order, and I added a few extra that aren't technically "canon" (after shows, vloghausens) but as far as I am concerned, if it happens in kayfabe, it's canon. If you think you might enjoy insanity and a fucking amazing enemies-to-besties plot line, this might be something you enjoy. I'm still missing a few here and there, but I think this is pretty solid!!!
THE ORIGINAL RUN (Feb-August 2022): the courtship
Hook's interview on Hey! (EW), most for shits and giggles because it never fails to make me laugh, but also is a great introduction to him.
The slow-burn enemies-to-partners video. HUGE thanks to OP for this, because I literally consider this video God's gift to us.
The training montage. I laugh every time.
The May 13, 2022 after-show. Skip to 5:30. They are a package deal at this point as far as everyone in the arena is concerned LOL (another view here, starts at 5:40. 2 days into their partnership and Danhausen is like, "CM Punk owes me money." Hook: "let's go.")
Vloghausen chip tasting. Starts at 2:35. The fact that they had to do this multiple times because all those chip bags are already open tickles me.
Road to Double or Nothing. RJ City is a gift lol
Tag team match!!! Skip to 48:55. It's the little finger wiggles before tags that always gets me. Love is real.
Post tag match interview. Starts at 4:00. They could have refilmed this when Hook lost it and didn't, so that smile at Danhausen is canon now, I don't make the rules.
Literally just ten seconds of them driving the Gator. Starts at :30. SMILEHAUSEN.
Danhausen loves Hook. 1:42:50. Interview show, Danhausen talks about Hook glowingly for 10 seconds.
Hookhausen buys “PT Cruisers.” We are still trying to figure out if Hook actually has a driver’s license.
Why must you hurt me in this way. Starts at 4:30. The "break-up"???? I don't like this video.
Hook and Danhausen sell chips for monies. Another vloghausen gift. They still love each other. TWO fist bumps!!! BLESSED.
Hookhausen hawks their GIANT ASS POSTER. If video does not load on AEW Twitter, plz see back-up link here.
After-show fist bump w/FTW Belt. Starts at 10:47.
The Dark Months (Sept-Dec 2022): nothing sob sob
A NEW ERA???: we have found new wills to live
Hook is click-bait in a vloghausen. First onscreen appearance since August 2022 by the trollhausen of the universe. WE BACK, BABIES.
Danhausen’s good friend Hook! Danhausen says Hook’s name on air!! And there was much rejoicing!

Honestly, the thought of working in the cafe or as a janitor at That Guy's workplace excites me.
The only negative is being stuck in the car for an extra 2.5 hours with That Guy. Driving on the highway or in a city is really stressful for me, and he drives like an asshole which makes it worse. I'd be exhausted by the time I got to work.
But like, that sort of work suits me best. Doing. Not sitting at a desk, despite the fact that I spend most of my time sitting at my desk.
Doing makes the work go by faster.
I wouldn't have to drive. I'd get to meet lots of new people. I'd get some monies. I still wouldn't have to spend time with That Guy during the day because he doesn't eat in the cafeteria and the only time I'd run into him at work would be if i was like, emptying trash in the offices or happened to be cleaning the bathroom when he walked in.
Like...
That would be a pretty good setup, honestly, if I accept not getting the autonomy of having a car, still.

My family and I have been watching and loving the Lockwood & Co series on Netflix (and have the books coming in soon). My oldest - a Masks veteran, sees a ton of parallels between Mask moves and the action in the show, and longed for a game focused on the sort of eldritch investigation, but with the personal drama that a game like Masks or Monsterhearts or the like can bring. Any suggestions?
THEME: Eldritch Investigative Drama
Hello friend, you’re definitely describing one of the highlights of the Powered by the Apocalypse system. It’s probably not surprising that so many of my recommendations are PbtA!
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Sunset Kills, by Hedgemaze Press.
Sunset Kills is a tabletop roleplaying game about a family or group of friends who investigate supernatural mysteries and fight the monsters trying to take over their town. It’s a little bit horror, a little bit drama, and a little bit campy comedy in the vein of shows like Charmed and Buffy the Vampire Slayer.
Sunset Kills uses a simplified version of the Apocalypse World system, perfect for new players or those new to Powered by the Apocalypse-style games.
This may be advertised as a great game for new players, although some prior GM experience with PbtA is probably going to be useful. This game is primarily focused on monster-killing shows like Buffy and (with the inclusion of my Stranger Hills playbooks), Stranger Things. However, if your characters end up getting mixed up in some kind of eldritch conspiracy instead, you might be able to pull upon each character’s Keys to cause all kinds of drama.
UnHaunt This House, by Kristen Chin.
Unhaunt This House is a haunt-busting tabletop game where you play spectre-hunters traversing a distorted nightmare building to find the source of the haunting.
Snoop around the haunt, dodge shifting architecture or spectral inhabitants and gather clues to make the Final Pronouncement that might dispel the Haunt's ectoplasmic epicentre.
Built on the Down We Go system, Unhaunt this House also takes cues from Brindlewood Bay and Paranormal Inc.This style of game is more on-the-nose in representing ghost hunters, although it’s OSR history means that it doesn’t come with as many mechanics to replicate drama. The closest you might get to drama is the fatal flaw that plagues each hunter: what is it that may be your downfall? You might have to do a bit of home brewing if you want something to replicate the drama that can unfold between a number of hunters exploring a nightmare building.
Moonlight on Roseville Beach, by R.Rook Studio.
Queer pulp meets cosmic horror!
It's 1979 and you're spending  the summer working in Roseville Beach, the queerest little town on Rose Island. You might have come here looking for an escape, some fun, a little extra money, or even love, but now people are seeing phantasms, strange animals—and stranger old gods—wander the woods, mysterious monoliths appear randomly, and that strange music is coming from somewhere.
The drama of Moonlight on Roseville Beach is baked into the setting. As outcasts compared to the outside society, the folks of Roseville Beach can’t depend on outside law enforcement to deal with their problems, so when supernatural entities start to trouble your loved ones, you have to spend on yourselves. Your characters will have Troubles - people they’re indebted to, hiding from, trying to impress, or more. They’ll also have NPC allies and each-other to depend on.
As Roseville Beach expects many interpersonal interactions, it can be easy to dive into uncomfortable territory. The game recommends that players sit down and discuss Lines and Veils before beginning play.
Gunmetal Sonata, by Ashley “Winged” Moni.
Besides the world we know lie a myriad continuum of others, full of places and creatures that fill the world’s myths and legends. Life has gotten a lot more manageable in the last few millennia, but the occasional intruder still steps across the threshold to do innocents harm.
You’re one of a long, loose fraternity of people around the world who’re both in-the-know and capable of doing something about it. You wear a lot of hats: you’re a soldier, a hunter, a detective, a scientist, a sheriff.
You’re a slayer. It’s a living.
Gunmetal Sonata is an urban fantasy RPG about monster hunting millennials tracking and slaying threats to humanity through a system that splits between noir investigation and highly-stylized anime action. It is inspired by PbtA and FitD games.
When it comes to interpersonal connections, Gunmetal Sonata includes a Trust track for each player, to increase over play. Each player also has a Promise, whether that be a personal goal or a commitment to a power outside themselves. Promises will give you power, but at a cost they can cause Stress, and wear down your emotions. This game is currently still in the design process, but future iterations intend to have Arcs, which will be personal stories that directly tie you into the plot.
The Between, by The Gauntlet.
The Betweenis a tabletop roleplaying game about a group of mysterious monster hunters in Victorian-era London. They are residents of a place called Hargrave House, and their job is to investigate and neutralize monstrous threats terrorizing the city—threats that Scotland Yard won’t or can’t handle themselves. As the story progresses, they become aware of the plans of a Moriarty-style criminal mastermind they will eventually have to face in order to save Queen and country.
The Betweenis directly inspired by the gothic horror TV show Penny Dreadful, but also takes a lot of inspiration from British horror classics, graphic novels like From Hell and The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen, and pulp-era stories. Mechanically, it’s Powered by the Apocalypse but also uses the mystery system from Brindlewood Bay.
This is a great game if you are looking for something to spook you. It’s also set in a Victorian-era setting, so the world feels darker and older. Your characters will depend on their backgrounds and personal struggles to help them navigate through this world of darkness and conspiracy. The Between comes with a number of scenarios to put your characters through, great for GM’s who don’t have time to write up an entire story from scratch or newer GM’s who want a bit of help exploring the possibilities of this game.
Paranormal Inc, by Alicia Furness Productions.
One day, the dead started returning to haunt the living. This was, as you would expect, somewhat disruptive to society. People started looking for ways to get rid of the ghost nuisance in their lives. Requests for paranormal investigators sky-rocketed.
But times change. People adapt. Now, you are a struggling paranormal investigator with Paranormal Inc. doing your best to keep the equipment working, the lights on, and your belly full.
Paranormal Inc. is a game about solving mysteries, struggling under capitalism, and making connections with living and dead alike. It's a game about pushing through your own personal hauntings to help others.
This game most closely aligns with the theme of ghost-hunting, although your investigators aren’t necessarily hunting ghosts so much as solving mysteries. You won’t know what the answer to the mystery is at the beginning of play - you’ll discover it collaboratively, as Paranormal Inc is GM-less. This game is Carved from Brindlewood, but it’s parent game is heavily inspired by PbtA games, so expect character connections that mean something.
Monster of the Week, by Evil Hat.
Most people don’t believe in monsters, but you know the truth. They’re real, and it’s your task to bring them down. Monster of the Week brings that adventure to life.
Monster of the Week is a standalone action-horror RPG for 3-5 people. Hunt high school beasties a la Buffy the Vampire Slayer, travel the country to bring down unnatural creatures like the Winchester brothers of Supernatural, or head up the government investigation like Mulder and Scully. This book contains everything you need to tackle Bigfoot, collar a chupacabra, and drive away demons.
Monster of the Week is a well-loved, well celebrated monster-hunting game about kicking monster butt, taking care of friends, and getting answers to things that want to be hidden. If you want to get a taste of what this game can do, I’d recommend Monster Hour, a Monster-of-the-Week podcast that keeps the players involved and continuously falling into larger and larger problems.
Apocalypse Keys, by Rae Nedjadi.
As an Omen class monster, you are the only thing capable of holding back the apocalypse. Combat occult threats and investigate supernatural phenomena alongside your team of supernatural agents working for the shadowy DIVISION. But in a world that shuns monsters like you, only your deepest, most heartfelt bonds can grant you the power to stop those who seek to unlock Doom’s Door.
The apocalypse draws near. There are Keys to find, Mysteries to solve, Doors to unlock, and ruthless Harbingers to battle. It’s time to face your fears or become fear itself.
This is the game I think of when I think of messy drama. You’re monsters with great responsibility, great power, and a great opportunity to lose everything you care about. The game will push you towards caring about something or someone, while battling a piece of you that threatens to take that away.
Alongside moves such as Unleash the Dark, which encourages manipulation and harm, you can also Reveal Your Heart to someone in a moment of vulnerability. The organization, DIVISION, is a great resource, but it’s also a strict overlord, and its true nature will only be figured out through play, as players answer questions about it. If you want a game that’s full of action and intrigue, while also pulling at your emotional heart-strings, I strongly recommend Apocalypse Keys.

watch me mess around the 3d designs because i want to
what is the mimic's origin? i dont know much about him, but i'm curious about this
he has two completely different set of legs
Tumblr media
his hands are also different
Tumblr media Tumblr media
he also has a chunk of foam in his cheek, and the daycare attendant's set of teeth ( i have no idea who the mimic is so i cant say much, but i guess he kind of- builds himself?)
Tumblr media
extras because i was looking into the other models:
Tumblr media
this makes me think roxy painted her nails/claws at some point, but i know this probably isn't true lol
Tumblr media
hands are used often, and in ruin, since all the animatronics are acting crazy and the place is a mess, i can see why they would break their hands often without regularly checking on them- (like how i feel that the daycare attendant lost their feet by tripping on something.)
but for roxy- welp, you can see a bunch of claw marks in the game and also, she punches a lot of stuff (she punched her own mirror, seen as it has hand mark on it), i think roxy broke her hand like this (and she punched HARD, but i dont see the point, i was going to say she did this to not see herself, but, she blind, so..????)
OH AND ALSO, Roxy used her left hand to reach out to cassie, since her right hand is broken down...
Tumblr media
MXES has separate teeth! and rabbit teeth! you just cant see it very well
Tumblr media
skin textures, pretty
Tumblr media
i dont know what this is supposed to be!
Tumblr media
ah... hello monty! you lil traitor <3
idc what everyone else thinks, the pizzaplex story of how monty came to be can be fake, but i don't think mony used to be a 100% JERK, everything indicates that he killed bonnie but in my opinion
he was set up, OR
he did kill bonnie, but not without reason, something has to have happened, monty killing bonnie out of jealousy does not make sense to me, how was he even created? was he a thing that existed before bonnie? was he a glamrock? huh? whatz going on????????
Tumblr media
There isnt much to cover about him, i'm just surprised he's alive! alive, but not rational. boy cant even speak!
Tumblr media
whats this?
Tumblr media
gift!

im glad the episode with mathieu is now publicly available just bc it's one of the episodes i really wanted (as early as the podcast being announced), but at the same time understanding that paying fans deserve content just for them i was happy to accept the situation but now damn i feel so bad for paid subscribers.
already looking at what other podcasts offer, it really seems like a lot of money for very little additional content.
there was also mention of getting more patreon episodes during the summer before s2 filming started and as far as im aware there have only been two episodes, both of which are now publicly available. s2 recording has started so it seems unlikely there will be any more extra eps.
i was tempted to subscribe just for the extra episodes (esp with wanting the one w the historical advisor) but if i subscribed and it later turned out the episode is now available for FREE, i would rightly be pissed.
i think with the versailles fandom too many aren't aware of fandom related events and what should be expected.
a lot of them undervalue themselves and don't realise that it is us fans keeping the show/fandom alive.
i don't know all the ins and outs of the versailles patreon, but i really sincerely hope that paying fans are getting their monies worth.

"You're sure you want to do this, Moni?" Sayori's voice is as gentle as it can be, truly worried about Monika's plan. "You're asking me to drop you directly into your own nightmares. I know how hard those are, for you. You... You cry. A lot."
"I know. I know. But I won't stop having the nightmares, until I... Get through the feelings in there." Monika shudders, feeling a red tingle in the base of her skull, somewhat teasing her. "I'm. I'm really scared, but... I need to do this while I'm alone, but awake." The brunette takes a seat on the couch. "And since I can't lucid dream... I have to get your help." She looks at Sayori, feeling those bright blue eyes drill right into her soul... That's their entire plan, after all. Sayori's going to use her powers to "hypnotize" Monika so she can confront her fears pretty directly.
Sayori nods and kneels down in front of Monika. "Okay. But I'm fishing you out if you start panicking. I can tell you want to rush this whole process because of your fear. Regular therapy can do this, without my powers." She grabs Monika's hands and clasps them between her own. "You can be so impatient, when you have a goal, Moni~" A classic, friendly Sayori smile lights up Monika's view. And it does make the brunette a little bit embarrassed. Sayori can read her better than she can read herself, sometimes... Monika IS rushing this, she realizes.
It's all part of her fear of herself, and the simultaneous clashing fear of losing control. Aki's a perfect storm of everything she's terrified of. All of her own anger, dark ambitions, sadism... And it's all bubbling in her heart, waiting to take over if it erupts.
Aki has controlled her body, before. For an entire week, Monika was booted out of her own physical body. It took her so long to get back because even while she wasn't in control, she was fighting to get back into it, restraining Aki's more violent and... Hedonistic actions. But she couldn't heal from seeing the man turning to metal, while she was fighting so hard. Every extra ounce of mental strength she used to try and restrain Aki was effort that didn't go toward recovering and processing the traumatic memory. And maybe some of it still isn't processed, because she feels herself shrinking every time she thinks of his gurgling scre-
"Monika, shhhhhh... I'm right here... Stay with me... You're scaring yourself with something, and your breathing is speeding up." Sayori rolls the beads of Monika's bracelet up and down the woman's wrist. "Focus on my voice, that feeling of your bracelet moving across your arm, the temperature of the air on your skin... Deeeeep breath... Iiiiiiiin... Ouuuut..."
Monika hadn't realized that she'd started panicking over that memory. Her heart's starting to pound... All over a scary memory. It makes her feel weak, even if she knows Sayori would say her heart's beating because she survived. "I-in..." She takes a shaking breath, trying to hold it all in and balance herself. It feels like she's been putting this off for too long, already, she can't let a panic attack take this plan from her. "Out..." Monika looks into Sayori's eyes, nodding. "In... And out..."
The women settle in place, as Monika calms down. She looks at Sayori, determined to get this finished. "...Do it."
Sayori simply nods in response. Her eyes begin to glow and she continues to hold Monika's hands. "Call for me, if anything happens. You aren't alone, no matter what your scary nightmare says and what you feel. I'm right here. And I'll be here forever, if I have to." She lets go of Monika's hands and gives Monika's forehead a gentle poke with her finger, and-
Monika feels herself sinking into her own mind, her Sayori-filled vision rising away from her as her consciousness turns itself inside-out. It's... Dark. Not black, dark. That space between your dreams and reality is kind of void, it's weird to call it anything, no matter how short your visit is. Before she even realizes time has passed, Monika feels her feet touch solid ground.
She looks about the ground, a bit confused. This... Isn't what she expected. Given their usual interactions, Monika expected to end up in some phantom, haunted version of the clubroom, or the music room. This is... Nothing, just a floor made of red and green stained glass? It's covered in cracks and splits, too. Is this the right place? What is this?
"Do you want me to bring us to the club room? I think it's comfier~" Monika turns to face the voice, finding a giant Aki floating in the void with a hand resting on the broken glass. Green eyes meet red, and Monika feels dread and fear flood through her. Even if she's lucid, this is still very much Aki's domain. The realm of nightmares built into Monika's mind. She would swear she hears screaming from the void beneath the glass...
Aki, wings spread and eyes shining, raises a fist and smashes the glass into pieces with a mean-spirited giggle. "Oh, wait, this is my house. You don't get a choice."
And so Monika is falling again, soon landing much less gracefully on her back amid a split row of desks. She groans and gets to her feet, wincing as she sees Aki sitting atop the teacher's desk at the front of the clubroom... The half-destroyed, blood-streaked clubroom. Monika can only shiver as she thinks of the sins that must be painting this place.
Aki, the manifestation of all of the pieces of herself that Monika loathes and fears, just... Looks like her. A version of her from six years ago, a little skinnier and more youthful, but still just her. The black bow and the wings are so over the top, though... The red-eyed girl glares, easily able to read Monika's train of thought.
"This is why I hate you, you know? You can't just let me exist, in here, without being ashamed." Aki huffs... This is different from usual. Normally Aki's happy to be the object of her nightmares, putting the cold tendrils of fear into Monika's heart and spine.
"...Did something change, while you were driving my body?" Monika looks Aki over, showing her confusion pretty openly. As if Aki couldn't read it, without any visuals.
"Yes things fucking changed. I got to give our body some release it sorely needed! You might not like it, but I'm your repressed desires. You need to let me out sometimes to be healthy!" Aki shouts, getting off of the desk and pushing Monika against the wall. "Your stupid shame about feeling angry, wanting to have someone satisfy your needs for once, your fear of hurting people with your powers? You're pathetic!" The red-eyed young woman hisses at Monika jabbing a finger into her chin. "Do you know what's gonna happen if you let yourself want things that aren't socially acceptable? Fucking NOTHING."
"Y-you want to kill peop-!"
"NO, I want you to vent your aggressive feelings! You know why it felt good to have that fucker's neck in our hands after they hurt Sayori? Because that was the first thing you let yourself be truly angry about in years. You finally felt six years of repressed feelings, all at once, and you STILL kicked me out of control and pushed them back down afterward! Killing is the only thing that could have even started to sate that need, at that point, so that's what I wanted!" Aki is panting after her short rant, trembling... Her feelings are so raw, Monika can't help but- "They aren't MY feelings, they're YOURS! This is why we have problems! I'm not some separate fucking entity from you, I'm just the part of you that you don't want to admit exists. Your 'ugly' feelings. Fuck you, Monika. You can't think about me like that! I'm part of you, and this othering bullshit you're pulling? It's unhealthy, and you're going to snap into pieces at some point because of it! And you know it, otherwise I wouldn't be screaming at you in your own skull!" Aki steps back from Monika, screeching and throwing a desk out of the clubroom's already-shattered window.
Monika frowns, starting to shake a little. "What do you want me to do about any of this?! I'm in therapy, I'm talking to people about the feelings, I'm. I'm trying to accept that my feelings aren't who I-"
"YOUR FEELINGS ARE PART OF YOU. DON'T GIVE ME THAT CRAP ABOUT YOUR FEELINGS NOT BEING WHO YOU ARE!" Aki slams Monika back into the wall, holding her with an arm pressed against her neck. "You aren't accepting shit about your feelings, you're acknowledging that you have them, and immediately suppressing them. You haven't let yourself FEEL anything you don't approve of since we killed the Literature Club!" Streaks of dark red fluid flow from Aki's burning eyes as she snarls at Monika. "We fucked up, Monika! But controlling your feelings this hard is GOING to turn us into a murderer again, and it's not going to stop at three people with our powers. We can do so much worse and fuck the world up beyond repair, if we want to." She throws Monika to the ground and stomps into the pile of broken, scattered desks.
"But you know what, Monika?! That's just a risk of our life! We have powers. We should use them! Maybe selfishly! The only things you do regularly are the crap with fruit recoloring and teleporting, do you even realize how hard you're limiting yourself?!" Aki continues throwing the desks around the room, as Monika crawls behind the teacher's desk to hide. "You can make Sayori have less trouble with her depression. You could get rid of Yuri's scars and voices! You could play with Natsuki's memories of-"
"Don't you even fucking suggest that!" Monika leaps to her feet and rushes to pin Aki against the mess of desks, hands around her throat. "Don't you fucking DARE suggest to me that we should change anything about our BEST FRIENDS! Hate me all you want for locking you up, but if these are your ide-"
Why is Aki smiling?
"...You conniving bitch, you know exactly what you just did."
"What are you waiting for? Kill me~ Get rid of me and let all of that anger back into yourself. I'm awful, I have such mean, hurtful ideas, clearly I'm the problem, hmmm?" Aki grins, her appearance shifting to more match the modern Monika, soft body, white bow and all. "Or didn't you realize your self-loathing was this bad?" And so she's choking herself...
Monika lets go of Aki, hands trembling as she slumps to the floor. She stares at her palms as tears fill her eyes. "I can't... I can't do it. Even if you're terrible, unforgivable, awful, I can't... I can't hurt anybody, again. I can hurt people so badly, I have to control these urges...!"
"And there you go again, scared of yourself. Find another way to let the anger out! Go to the gym, again, break some punching bags... Or you could use the idea that I told Wool to give Sayori as a way to vent safely into the world's most forgiving emotional sponge." Aki grins up into the void-sky, where she feels more than a little blue looking back at her. She stands up and walks past Monika, hands resting behind her back as she playfully twirls.
"...I'm not taking Sayori to a bondage club. What the hell is wrong with you?" Monika blushes, covering her face in her hands.
"According to you? Plenty. But unlike you, I actually know what we want. And the longer you deny yourself an outlet for any of the stuff you compress into me, the more we're going to have to keep having this conversation." Aki climbs onto the teacher's desk and lays back, humming. "Now go wake up and talk to your girlfriend. If you're not gonna let out your sadistic tendencies, getting Sayori to top at the club will at least satisfy your stupid complex with wanting the other girls to hurt or hate you."
"...And do remember, Sayori heard alllll of this~"
"Fffffffuck."

Me and Jess are on the ferry boat back to our hotel. We are real tired. I am thankfully not in as much pain as yesterday. Still hurting but it is not as bad. And today was a lot of fun.
Last night we did get to watch cars and I was surprised by the emotional intelligence and lack of actual racing. The way that little boys seem to like it so much I expected more action and was pleasantly surprised. Don't know about the second and third but the first was solid.
I would sleep okay but not enough. Waking up was really rough. But besides feeling a little out of it we were doing good. I got dressed and ready and was done and waiting for Jess. I was excited to head out.
We had not done the rope drop thing. Instead we slept an hour later and had a slow breakfast. We shared a lot this time. Basically all of today we shared our food. Which is fun. Get to try more things. The only bad part about breakfast was when we got stuck apart because of a big cart blocking the entrance to the area where we were sitting. And Jess's coffee was very bad. But we struggled through.
We headed to the bus. And while we had joked about all the buses being Epcot today, we were a little delayed by the first three buses actually being Epcot. Finally an animal Kingdom came and things were fine. We were starting a little later but that was okay.
I didn't realize how much longer the ride to Animal Kingdom was going to be. So I was extra glad we got seats. There was actually plenty of space on our bus but a lot of people were stuck squished up front because one guy absolutely would not move back. Just completely unaware and that kind of thing makes me a little crazy. Like when people were getting in the elevator before letting people get off. Just super obnoxious.
But it wasn't a bad ride at all and soon we were there!
Again this entrance surprised me. But it was closer to what I thought it would be. Our first goal was to get Jess Starbucks. I decided that in the end I didn't actually want to do the kids scavenger hunts. To many people, to busy. I just wanted to enjoy the experiences of the immersive spaces. And I think that was the right call.
We got Jess her coffee and I got a cake pop. The girl at the counter was really sweet about us celebrating our birthdays. Everyone was today. And it made me feel really happy.
We did a lot today and saw a whole lot of animals. We started with a walk through zoo. We saw hippos and gorillas and meerkats and so many other little monies and birds. The birds were extra fun because we got a big paper with all the birds to help us identify them and I insisted on asking the staff their favorite birds so I could look for those specifically. And it was just really fun.
One of the workers was from Baltimore and she told.me her brother was at the game on Sunday that James was at. Very bad loss. No more super bowl. But Baltimore will recover emotionally I'm sure.
After our exploration and seeing a bit of Asia, and taking pictures, we decided that we could get in the long 55 minute line for the ride on safari.
And this was really awesome. The wait wasn't horrendous, even though it's longs, we talked and had things to look at. I had ran out of line to go fill my water and enjoyed seeing a little.of Africa. I would find out where we could get corn on the cob. And when I got back to Jess we just kept moving and when we finally got to the front of the line we lucked out and got the entire back row to ourselves. Prime animal viewing.
We saw some amazing animals. Giraffes. Elephants. Wild dogs. Zebras. Even the trees were incredible. I wish it was long but it was about 20 minutes and that was great. I loved it and would highly recommend it.
Once we were off and out of the safari area (after stopping to look at the gift store and hugging a cheetah plush for a long time) we went to find the African street corn I saw. We would get two of those and a churro. And at the last second I saw they were selling three packs of baby bell cheeses and I thought that might be nice to have for later.
The corn was incredible. Just such an unexpected flavor. Curry and pepper and some underlying sweetness and I would absolutely have that again. We got to watch some drumming and it just felt like a festival. The whole atmosphere was fabulous and I loved all the small details. The torn signs, the graffiti, the minutia that makes things feel real and lived in. I was pretty blown away.
We decided that we would not go back to the hotel for a break and instead power through and just leave early, have a nap before dinner. And while this was risky I'm glad that's what we decided to do.
We went to dino land. Traded pins. I didn't know there were carnival games at Disney. I didn't want to play any but it was interesting to see. And the prizes were cute.
I didn't realize, or more so didn't remember, that there is a dinosaur ride. The movie Dinosaur. And it's about going back in time to bring one of the main dinos back. And I vaguely remembered going on it and even though it was a "dark bumpy car ride" I convinced Jess to indulge me. It wasn't a terribly long wait and I really wanted to do it.
And I'm so glad we did. The wait was well timed. With dinosaur fossils and videos. The immersion in the storyline was really well done (even if I recognized the actors), I was very excited.
We got to buckle into the time machine car. And I turned to Jess and said that I wished it could be tighter but I didn't know how to do that. And man was that a bit of foreshadowing.
This ride was crazy. It was basically one step below a rollercoaster the way we were being whipped around. It was loud (I'm very glad I suggested Jess put her ear buds in) and dark and flashing. There were animatronics dinos coming from every direction. It was an absolute blast.
But my feet didn't fully reach the ground. My toes did but not my heels. And I wasn't tightly buckled. And with the sides of the car being open I was pretty concerned I was going to call out of the side. So I tilted my body so I could get one foot firmly planted and just really tried to hold on. I was screaming and laughing and it was a rush in the best ways.
We were both shaken up at the end. For different reasons. She hated it. Rated it a 1/10. I absolutely adored it and thought it was the best thing. 10/10. Only downside was the line and the seat belt. Would do it again. She was so funny though telling me about why it was bad because all of her bad points were my good points. I appreciated her going along with me. It was great.
We went and used the bathroom. Washed our hands. I sat in the sun for a bit and oriented myself on the map.
Our next stop was Pandora to see the avatar stuff. We wanted to go to the river ride but the wait was going to be about an hour again. So at least we would start to head over there. And it was a nice walk. It was beautiful out and we were both in a good place. Sore but not to bad. We considered a snack. But as we got into Pandora I was a bit mesmerized. I bet this would be beautiful at night. The plants were amazing. Between the real and the fake it was all integrated so well. Something I have been really appreciating is the music. It transitions from one world/space/country to the next so senselessly while still keeping you immersed. And this was no different. It was so cool. We went to look at the food but I wasn't sure about it. We went in the gift shop and I was excited to see the baby Navi plush. They have so many babies of every character and I have been excited every time we see a "new" one. It is just very fun.
I decided we should go get in line for the river ride. No snack. Even though we probably could use it. And just use that time to scroll on our phones and chat and enjoy the scenery.
As we were standing there waiting, I went in my bag to put my sunglasses away and realized. The baby bell cheeses!! The snack I had saved!! You should have seen how stupidly excited we got about these. We each had one and a half baby bells and shared some of her water and it was perfect. Made the hour so much easier.
Right before we made it to the end of the line my feet and ankles were really bothering me. Standing still hurts a lot more then walking. I took my boots off for a moment to stretch them out and that helped. And then it was time for our river journey.
This ride, on the whole, probably wasn't worth the hour wait but it was worth it because of the animatronic at the end. The ride is a boat, and you are literally going through the woods. And it was beautiful and the music and singing was lovely. But it wasn't particularly exciting. It was just nice. There were some screens, but they were better integrated so it wasn't to hokey. But when we got to the animatronic I was blown away. This thing moved in such a realistic way. Like it took my breath away I could have just sat with it and watched it for so long it was so real. I have no idea who she was. I never saw the movie. But she was incredible.
We got off of the boat and I felt like it was just to soon. I wished there was more. But that was okay, it was time to try the food.
There was a frozen drink that was apple and pear (desert leaf specifically, which Jess had misread early as dessert pear and we were trying to figure out for a long time what that could be and we had a big silly laugh about that) and a cream cheese and pineapple wonton wrapped treat. We got those and found a sunny place to sit.
I really enjoyed my wonton thing. I did not like the drink. It was to sweet. And I love sweet things so that's saying something. Once we were to got sitting in the sun we continued our journey. And headed back to Asia.
Jess wanted my feedback and rating/ranking between the two parks. And I think overall Animal Kingdom is better. The counties were fabulous and felt like like a show case and more real, I loved the animals, I liked that it was less hamfisting movies into the different spots. We also got to see Pocahontas twice! And she was beautiful. I really loved our day.
We would have French fries with spices and Sriracha mayo in Asia. And then wander around into a few more shops. Backtracking to Maharajah where we had started our day. And that's where we called it. Time to go.
We would get back towards the gate and go in the last few gift shops. Jess got a really nice animal Kingdom pin. We went to the last little shop where they had pin trading and had a nice conversation with the girl working that table, just about the concept of pin trading and how it's so nice. And as we were talking I saw in the shop behind her the cheetah backpack from earlier. I had not stopped thinking about it. Jess said I kept bringing it up. So I went back in and after checking online and finding it for the same price, I decided this would be my last plushie of the trip.
We named her Margarine (Margorie as a nickname). And I love her. She's so soft. I was holding her when we headed over to a bench so Jess could wait for me while I ran to a bathroom when we noticed that she still had a security tag on her! The ink releasing kind! Ugh oh. So we had to go back to the shop to get them to remove it and the guy at the counter felt so bad!! He also struggled to get it off but he got his manager and it was all fixed. Margarine was free.
We went and got the bus back to the hotel. And it was right there. No waiting. We had much better luck the rest of the day when it came to that. We got back to the hotel in one piece and we're only mostly dying. Thankfully the bottoms of my feet weren't as painful as yesterday. It was mostly my shins and ankles. Jess had gotten stiff and slow from sitting on the bus but after a few yards we were able to walk about the same pace and got back to the room as my body started burning and I desperately wanted to lay down.
After stripping down and putting away my jewelery I was able to sleep for most of an hour. Jess said I was making funny squeaking sounds which James has also said I do. She thinks I should go back to an ENT. I will consider it.
I felt kind of bad when Jess woke me up. She said it was 6 and I was like AM?? But no. PM. It was time to get dressed again and go to dinner. I got myself out back together and just felt a little quiet inside. We went to take the ferry this time. And we had to speed walk a little bit we made it to the one that was at the dock. And got to Disney springs before 7.
We had a plan. Rings, pins, dinner. Jess wanted a ring that said "baby" and the man who did this one was super fast! 15 minutes!
So while he was doing that we went to look at pins. And talked to the nice old lady at the desk. It was nice.
We had to get to our reservation though and that was about on the other side of the water. So we walked to Summer House. And this was much fancier then I expected. But it was great!
Our waiter was so nice and the food was excellent. We got a bunch of stuff to share. Potato salad deviled eggs, chips and a flight of salsa and guac, cheesy bread, and a split order of gluten free pasta. It was so much food and it was all so so so good.
We got some of it to go for snacks later. And after laughing with our waiter for a minute we headed into the night.
We decided to check out some of the stores we missed. I couldn't stand to be in the candy or m&m store for long it was so sickly sweet and powdery. But we still had a lot of fun.
I really liked the Coca Cola store. I decided to get myself a cup. I know I do not need a cup. But I loved that it looks like a diet Coke can and it has a straw. I have actually been so good with not buying nonsense this trip. I am really happy with all my things so far. And I have said no to many things! I'm having a great time.
We would continue our walk. Going in and out of shops. I liked the Lego store but it was to warm. We would end our journey getting a coffee for Jess to save for the morning. And then we headed back to our boat.
We did get a little lost and turned around. But when we found the exit and the dock the boat was right there and it was an easy journey back.
We are back in the hotel now. Showered and clean and holding it together. We put on a movie, Luca this time, and so far I love the art style. I have no idea what the story is so I am looking forward to how it unfolds. I am also really looking forward to sleep.
Tomorrow we go to HollyWood Studio. I have the least amount of expectations for this one. But I'm excited for the journey. If should be warmer but the wind will be stronger. So I am just hoping for a lovely time.
Sleep well everyone. I love you! Goodnight!

One last comment on the AO3 donation drive because I can't shut up: the amount they raised this year is not very much (even for a nonprofit where all extra monies go directly to the organisation). It seems like a large number to teenagers and people generally unfamiliar with money, but it is really very little.
The amount they ask for is a tiny amount, the amount they go over is a tiny amount. I am familiar with nonprofits and how much they need to stay afloat and compared to the amount of labour that goes into the website they ask for quite little, and are probably balancing on a knife's edge most of the time against burgeoning monetisation of the Internet and necessary upkeep costs.
If you realistically distributed what people donated to the website to people in need on Tumblr, it wouldn't do much at all. If you are seriously concerned about grassroots activism and helping your community, there is actually a lot you can do without spending money, too - it's not all transactional.
