Is it just me or are Theo and Patrick Verona from 10 things I hate about you lowkey similar. Especially with how patrick has all those rumors and he seems intimidating but is really a nice guy. Idk I just feel like they’re similar!

( like seriously, he's in draco's friendgroup— you'd assume that he's a hardcore bully. best friends with mattheo riddle, joining fistfights to help him. and the green tie only seals the deal, unfortunately. )

then you become close to him and you find out how silly theodore nott can be.

this man is NERDY, your honor! theodore would marvel at a real bookstore / library, all pretty and comfortable, for him to spend an afternoon browsing through the many titles and authors' works!

like if you get theodore talking about his favorite books, good fucking luck. theo rarely has anyone to discuss them with, and sincerely, if he has a certain opinion about a character, it won't change.

'no one gets them like i do. 🤓☝️' type of shit. can be the biggest hater and biggest defender of other characters too, nevermind how little or how damaging their actions were.

besides, the italian stereotype is real. theodore doesn't shut up during some meals at hogwarts— god forbid someone tries to make an italian recipe at the castle. if pasta is involved, then theo might even complain about how it's not even cooked properly.

( everytime theodore complains and rambles about how italy is superior in terms of food, hell, even coffee, the other four slytherins raise their hands and shake them like this: 🤌🏻 to tease him. )

and like you said, he's actually a nice guy. i feel like theodore, despite his concerning friendships, and few bad habits, is a pretty nice guy. theo is more of an introvert, and someone that if possible, would like peace.

as in, not getting into unnecessary bullshit. unlike draco, and mattheo sometimes, even lorenzo every now and then, theodore will rarely start shit with someone.

I'm just wondering where the Taylor posts are with women explicitly saying that they see themselves in her and being told that if they are like her they're horrible people? Or being dismissed? Or being told that fandom isn't about them? Even when their gender/sexuality is the driving force behind 90% of fandom?

ok, i'm going to answer this even though it's clearly not in good faith but it's a good example of completely missing my point.

I don't have a problem with people hating Taylor Kelly. My point is that fandom hated on her, and honestly almost ALL of Buck/Eddie's love interests in the past. and that people made harmless jokes about them and no one had an issue with it. we were all on the same page that they were jokes, and that it was ok to hate this character because she was kind of mean, or did some bad stuff in the past, or treated your faves badly, or the actress was homophobic, or she was in the way of the main ship, or whatever.

now people are doing the same thing to the new Buck's love interest, Tommy. and they are being told they are bad and wrong and terrible homophobes for making the EXACT same jokes and head canons and interpretations of every micro-expression. and the reason they are bad and wrong and terrible homophobes is because now there are people in the fandom who like that character and like that ship.

and look, it's a great thing that men in this fandom see themselves in Tommy and enjoy the relationship. But not everyone does or will and they aren't doing anything wrong by hating him/the ship. or joking about hating him. or interpreting every scene with him in the worst possible light. and if you genuinely feel attacked and threatened by this then I'm very sorry, but not everything that makes you uncomfortable is something that is objectively morally wrong and must be stopped. And I will also say, I don't see everything or even a large chunk of everything that goes on in fandom so i'm sure some of it really IS that bad. and certainly some of the Taylor hate was too! This is why god (tumblr) invented the block button.

And sincerely, I'm sorry if you're having your first experience with a fandom hating on a character who you identify with, but no one (or at least the VAST majority of fandom) is hating on Tommy because he's a gay man. And perhaps you might reflect on the millions of women, and especially women of color, who have had their faves relentlessly and virulently hated on explicitly because of their gender and race in every fandom ever since the beginning of time.

And I'm not trying to say there aren't any truly toxic contingents of this fandom. I'm certain there are. However, they're pretty easy to filter/block out. You know how I know this? Because I do not see them.

I do NOT agree with anyone telling people they are horrible for liking Tommy or shipping BuckTommy and I never will. Just like i do not agree with anyone telling people they are horrible for NOT liking Tommy. Or Taylor. Or Abby. or Ana. Or literally whoever. (Although if you hate Chimney i will not fuck with you. but we all have a right to our own terrible & arbitrary opinions!)

And finally, fandom is not about any one person or group. it is about the show and the fanfic and the edits and the fanart and the headcanons and all of us spending our free time sitting here talking about it for some fucking reason!!!

How do you believe to be Julieta and Agustín's relationship with their other daughters? The book Tale of Three Sisters IIRC reveals Isa believes Mirabel to be Agustin's favorite daughter (which is probably a additional reason for her envy and resenment of her) and she never is seen interacting with either of her parents on the movie.

At least Luisa and Agustin seems to have some kind of close bond.

Judging from the tale of three sisters book isa does say she thinks mirabel is the favorite. My thoughts on this is that we know all 3 girls have issues but mirabels are the most obvious to the parents. She was 5 and had the whole town observing the worst night of her life and pair that with the fact she’s the youngest it makes sense why her parents were always focusing on her. Mirabel didn’t know her sisters had issues and I don’t think their parents did either! I do think they spend time with all their daughters just when it comes to deeper conversations there was little to no communication there. Isabela and Luisa were putting on an act to appear like they had everything under control! As for the movie the only reason I can think we only saw them with mirabel is because mirabel is the protagonist and she doesn’t spend much time with her sisters in the movie! It’s a case of mirabels issues were on display for everyone so they KNOW she’s insecure about that and try their best to comfort her but isabela and luisa hid their problems from everyone including their parents! I 100% believe if julieta and agustín knew about their other daughters issues they would be there for them! but the whole family was unaware!

as soon as matty finds out you're pregnant, he is treating you like you're made of glass. if you want absolutely anything, he's getting it for you.

"matty. I can get my own cup of tea!! the baby is only the size of a pea right now, I am still allowed to do things, " you say as matty takes the kettle out of your hand and ushers you back to the sofa.

"Ah ah ah. they might be the size of a pea, but they're our pea, and you need to relax and keep them safe. just sit and let me take care of you both sweetheart, it's my job as dad anyway"

I think that you get pretty bad morning sickness the first trimester, and matty fucking hates it. he always sits with you, rubs your back and holds your hair. he makes you herbal tea to try and settle your stomach but nothing works. its just something that happens, but he can't help but feel so awful for you, and kind of guilty it's his baby causing all the sickness.

I imagine he talks to the bump about it after one particularly bad morning, "Hey, little pea, can you please stop making your mum so sick? she's just trying to keep you growing, and it's very difficult when she can't keep anything down. " You laugh at him and stroke his hair.

"matty I don't think they get to choose if I'm sick or not" you giggle as he rests his head next to your bump and continues to try and convince your baby to stop making you sick.

if you have a craving, he's getting it. the first few months all you wanted was crackers, they were all you could stomach so you just ate them endlessly. within a week of you telling matty, he had organised a massive shipment to be delivered to the house, "so you can always have something to eat my love"

you're definitely right with being exhausted in those first few months too, working with kids all day is already tiring - let alone when you're growing a baby at the same time.

I can see you getting home and immediately passing out on the sofa, just fucking knackered 24/7. matty catches on soon enough and starts setting up blankets and pillows for you. basically creating a cocoon for you to rest in.

the fact that he can't follow you around all the time and make sure you're okay is killing him, so he'll do whatever he can.

so if he can't wrap you in cotton wool for 9 months, he'll just wrap you in blankets when you need a nap instead.

he sleeps with you when you ask, spooning you and holding your bump. even when there isn't really a bump yet.

"matty, why are you holding my stomach?" You groggily ask as he lies behind you.

"I wanna hold them!" he defends, rubbing his hands over your non-existent bump.

"There's nothing there yet. They are barely a baby at this point," you say with a smile on your face. his love for this baby was the only thing getting you through these early months, obviously you were over the moon to be pregnant but fucking hell it was hard.

"they're still in there. They've got to get to know their dad early"

Annie also joins you for a nap sometimes. She is normally full of energy after school, but every once in a while, she comes home with heavy eyes and is clearly exhausted.

Annie sees you lie down and comes up to the sofa, gently patting your shoulder to get your attention.

you open your eyes and softly smile at her, "You okay, sweet girl?" You say with a yawn, Annie rubs at her eyes with closed fists and nods slowly.

"Can I cuddle with you y/n? I don't have a baby in my tummy, but I'm really sleepy too, " Annie says shyly, fiddling with the corner of the blanket matty had draped over you.

you pull back the blanket and shuffle back on the sofa, patting the spot in front of you and saying, "Of course angel, jump up and cuddle with me. it would make me feel so much better"

Annie grins and slides into the spot you created for her, and you wrap her up in your arms, tossing the blanket over the two of you.

quickly, you both fall asleep. Soft snores from Annie caught mattys attention as he came in from the kitchen.

walking in and seeing you and annie curled up together, and knowing you were also pregnant was something he would never forget. this was his dream for so many years, and it's finally real and happening. the years of delusions had paid off. his little family was growing, and saying he was giddy was an understatement.

his daughter was always the most important thing in his life, and now he has 3 people that he would die for.

he never thought he'd get a chance at this again. he thought that once he decided to be a dad, that was it for him. no more grand romances, no more falling in love. it was just him and annie, and he was okay with that.

but when he met you, it all changed. he used to dream of you just talking to him, giving him any sort of attention. he could have never imagined that one day you would be dating him, pregnant with his child and be completely in love with his daughter.

he takes a photo of you and sets it as his background, and it stays that way until 9 months later. it finally changed when he snaps the first picture of the 3 of you in the hospital bed, with Annie's new baby brother in her arms and you watching over them with a soft smile on your face.

I wanted to ask a question about Gwyn. I had a good scroll and couldn't see that it was asked before but it might already have been asked, so I am sorry if this is a repeat and feel free to ignore it if it is!

What would have happened if Gwyn wasn't born a Peak Alpha? Would Crielle have seen it as some kind of failing that a Peak Alpha lineage hadnt been achieved?

I also had a question about Efnisien and Crielle.

Would there ever be a scenario where Crielle would have raised Efnisien as a "high society Omega" (which I can imagine would have been its own level of hell) if she didn't go down the experimentation path or would he have been disposed of?

So, in a way if Gwyn hadn't been born a peak alpha...if he wouldn't have been killed, he would have had an upbringing that echoed all his other abusive upbringings with Crielle.

I've been asked for like 10 years 'what would happen if Crielle loved her son / got the son she always wanted' - and so Underline the Black is the answer to that. We get a villain. So if you want the opposite of that, it's all my other stories about Gwyn, y'know? He gets abused, he gets tortured, he gets dismissed, he gets beat on, he gets tormented, he meets Augus (or Ash, or both of them) etc. etc.

Crielle loving Gwyn is the answer to the original question: What would happen if Crielle ended up loving her son? What if he'd been born the way she wanted him to be born?

The question you're asking is in a weird way, answered in every single fic before that. The fics that led to that question being asked in the first place. :D You can read the original Fae Tales series if you want to know what happens if Gwyn hadn't been born Seelie a peak alpha

For me, no. For other people sure!

But for me...not without completely remaking Crielle's character. It's pretty fundamental to her to be kind of an intensely intelligent and malevolent scientist in the background of her caring about high society.

Ultimately Efnisien got to live because she saw a use for him. If she didn't see a use for him, I can't imagine why she'd want to raise him as a high society omega, honestly. That takes effort and money, and she's consolidated enough in her power, finances and legacy that she doesn't feel the need to create a cash cow to sell off to create a connection to another family.

I think he would be disposed of. I honestly think she will still try to dispose of him. Efnisien being wrong about this in Underline the Black is like...the right thing to be worried about. She's not done with him. And the ultimate end-game for her is getting rid of him now that he's lose his use to her.

I honestly love your depiction of Slenderman and the mansion. As much as I love the whole Slenderman treating everyone with love and being a found family with the residents of the mansion, it feels so refreshing seeing Slenderman act similar to how you portray him! Also, I’m very curious hearing more about slender and Sally’s relationship in the future (or now lol)!!

i'm glad to hear that!! i feel like i've never really given slender much thought or attention before so i feel like my depiction of it is rusty compared to a lot of the other creepypastas so i'm glad to hear that you enjoy it <3

as for slender's relationship with sally:

we all know that slender does Not like children. it goes out of its way to harm them, and actively avoids them in the case that it can't. that's what it did with sally for a really long time.

it avoided her, and treated her mostly like a pest it couldn't get rid of. seeing as she was a permanent resident of the mansion, it can't exactly get rid of her. and the mansion enjoys her company too, so alas. it was stuck dealing with her.

like i said, it took a lot of time and patience for slender to even view sally as something worth its time and attention. it took even longer for it to grow to care about her.

but sally is stubborn when she wants to be, and when she decided she wanted to befriend the strange, faceless, tall man well buddy pal there was nothing that could stop her. she had a goal in mind, and she was determined to achieve it.

and the mansion helped out, of course. because the mansion was, at this point, the only real 'companion' that slender had. she wanted it to make bonds with people it could actually communicate with.

and in the beginning, slender hated that everywhere it went when visiting the mansion, sally would be there with a bright smile on her face, eagerly asking questions about its existence and asking whether or not it wanted to join her for tea and even going as far as to introduce it to her toys one by one.

it was annoyed, at first. it would brush her off, maybe even vanish the moment it saw sally approaching.

honestly, slender wouldn't be able to tell you when it started to care for her. maybe it was the first time it saw her crying, or maybe she had worn it down so much that it just didn't have the energy to ignore and avoid her anymore. but at some point, it did grow to care for her.

it stopped vanishing whenever it saw her. it answered her questions when she asked it. it started to remember all the names and titles of her plushies. and one day, it had even hesitantly agreed to accompany her for tea. she was ecstatic at this, and thus the tea parties became a frequent whenever it was around.

sally is the only child that slender cares about. it tolerates ben and lazari, but every other child? no. it will more than likely never grow to care for one the way it cares for sally.

sally is basically slender's daughter now.
