The humid night air hit hard as the bedsheets were tossed off the bed, half fallen as the bodies lay on the bed.

Jason’s sweat dripped down his face as he rolled onto his side, then onto his back. His breath hitched as he gasped a little.

‘Jason?’ You whisper called as you saw Jason, asleep next to you.

His nightmares were frequent after his death and resurrection, but his nightmares were more frequent now. Since his last run in with the Joker all those weeks ago.

‘Y/n’ Jason called out in his sleep, you simply rubbed his face.

Gently rubbing your fingers over his chest and face, Jason’s breathing calmed down as he sunk into a sweeter sleep.

You knew Jason was dreaming about that night, the night he found out you were gone and Joker had you. Then Jason killed the Joker.

You drove the sleeping Jason to Wayne Manor as the sun shun brightly, you had arranged for a family get away to take Jason’s mind off of everything and relax.

Dick was standing outside as you approached Wayne Manor, Jason woke up and ran over to his older brother. You smiled as you saw their interaction.

Tim appeared from the doorway as he hugged Jason next, Dick rushed to you with his arms open.

‘Hey’ Dick cheered as he hugged you, kissing you on the cheek.

The three of you went inside as you laughed and caught up, Jason seeming a lot more lively now.

‘Todd’ Damian spoke as he came out of the kitchen, holding a teapot.

‘Spawn’ Jason smiled, ruffling his youngest brothers hair.

Damian smiled as he saw you and gave you a hug, much to everyone’s surprise.

The day was filled with movies, snacks and catching up on everything. Seeing as you hadn’t seen the boys since the holidays.

‘How’ve you been anyway?’ Dick asked you as you both stood in the kitchen.

You sipped your beer as Dick leant against the counter, you smiling a little.

‘Great, though Jason’s been having nightmares more frequently’ you admitted, Dick nodded.

‘That’s understandable, he went through a lot with the Joker, being face to face with him again after all that time’ Dick explained.

Damian entered the room to catch the two of you having a friendly moment, Damian smiled a little.

‘Break it up Grayson, if Todd catches you being nice to his fiancee he might kill you’ Damian joked.

Dick laughed as he walked into the living room, you handing Damian a towel as he finished washing his hands.

The rest of the night was chilled and the five of you finished watching a movie. Tim was first to fall asleep, his glasses slipping off his face, you nudged Jason’s shoulder, him chuckling.

‘Come on Timmy, bed time’ Jason whispered as he picks Tim up, your heart melted as you watched Jason carry his younger brother to bed.

Even though Tim is in his early twenties, Jason is strong enough to pick Tim up. He could probably pick Damian up too, but no chance Damian would allow him the chance.

You lay in Jason’s bed as you stared at the ceiling, smiling as the darkness filled the room and your head.

Sunlight seemed harsh today as your head was a little light, probably should’ve drank more water yesterday.

‘Morning’ you smiled, walking into the kitchen, being the last one up.

Jason kissed you as he handed you a cup of coffee, Tim eating some toast and Damian tucking into a bowl of cereal.

‘Morning’ Tim smiled, taking his glasses off to clean them.

‘Sleep ok?’ You asked, Tim nodded as Damian nearly rolled his eyes.

‘When I couldn’t hear the two of you, the walls are thin’ Damian stated as you blushed.

‘Sorry’ Jason chuckled as he kissed you again, Dick walking into the room from the other room.

The five of you took a trip to the beach as Dick drove you all, you and Jason cuddled in the back while Tim rocked up front with Dick. Damian of course, sitting next to the two of you.

At the beach, the five of you ran through the sand in your trunks as Dick caught the attention of a young woman.

You and Jason kissing in the water as Jason took hold of your hand, Tim and Damian sitting on the loungers reading while catching the sun.

It was a nice distraction for Jason as for the past couple of nights, he hadn’t had any nightmares.

Jason pulled you into the water as he held onto you, kissing you and your tongues battling. You felt a warmth as Jason held onto your face. Holding you still as he deepened the kiss.

The sun began to hit a cool air in the day as it began to fall down, the two of you getting out of the water.

You threw a towel around Jason’s waist to cover his lower half as he took off his trunks, standing naked, grabbing his underwear and pulling them up. You released the towel from your grip once Jason was done.

The drive back was peaceful as Dick listened to the radio, the four of you all slept as Dick smiled to himself.

Realising he had everything he needed as he watched you all, Dick felt like the parent in this moment.

Lying next to Jason in bed as he leant over and kissed you, deep as you smiled into it. Exhaustion kicked in for both of you as you both drifted into a deep sleep.

Jason stopped having nightmares for a while and didn’t even realise it, all he wanted was you to be in his arms.
