#anyway - you can use this as official lore guide
Note
What could be consider laws of the multiverse?
Or is there no such thing?
Aight aight
Let's go, explanation for time
For this one I will speak as creator
This is infos I've shared before on my site, and I got the greenlight to share it here !
Reminder that @neonross was the og creator of Out of Bounds and I am merely one of the artist and writers ( and alternatively the lore gremlin that make sure everything is smooth good lore lol ( so for lore clarification yeh I'm the good person to ask haha))
So here are the "laws" of the multiverse and how it works in wttmv specifically !
Those rules apply only in our story, but anyone who wants to use those concepts are welcome, of course ! Neon Ross's og intent was to have rules flexible enough for people to make characters and have fun with the concepts, but we don't mean to be an autority of any kind and ruin people's fun... Anyway, explanation time
It's not really "laws" so much as rules for ourselves and for our story, to give it nuances and stakes and the right amount of lore scratching complexity
Some characters however might tell you that these are laws lmao
✨Out of Bounds ✨
___-Lore Guide-___
Out of Bounds (OOB) is a realm existing beyond the multiverse, operating by its own rules and devoid of time. This guide provides insight into OOB's nature, its role in the multiverse, and the mechanics governing its interactions.
Nature of Out of Bounds
Definition :
• OOB is a space outside of alternate universes, akin to the Void Realm in Towags where forgotten characters and places reside.
• Awareness of this space is limited, known only to those who reside within or encounter its inhabitants.
Television :
• Floating televisions within OOB display AUs, acting as viewports or portals for interaction.
• Televisions serve as a primary means for Multiversers to observe and interact with AUs. ( While it is the primary way, note that there are exceptions and other ways to travel )
Shows :
• We call "show" the stories within the multiverse. Includes the Original, Variants, Alternate Universes.
• The Original cannot be touched or interacted with by anyone.
• Variants are copies of the original with very minor changes (art style, design, head canons). They can be interacted with on varrying degree, depending on the creator of the variant will.
• AUs are copies of Welcome Home with major or noticeable changes, from the story, to the characters and their designs.
Vintage Tapes :
• AUs are stored within vintage tapes, with the film inside representing the universe's timeline.
• Tapes categorize AUs into Fixed and Flexible, depending on the level of interaction allowed by the creators of each AUs.
Interference Mechanics :
• Interfering with Fixed AUs poses risks, as altering their storylines can lead to universe corrupt and/or collapse.
• Flexible AUs allow more interaction, often featuring crossovers and Y/N scenarios.
Out of Bound Spaces
Channels :
• Spaces integral to the multiverse system, including the Observer's TV room, the Archives, and Admin's film room.
Shows :
• The AUs themselves, contained in the multiverse, then OOB
Lost Media :
• Spaces not categorized as channels or tapes, such as the Keeper's domaine, Trader's space, and Stitcher's atelier. (Often time those are kind of like shells of dead/collapsed/modified AU, or pocket dimensions)
Pillars of Creation :
• Vast space outside of the multiverse, a galaxy-like zone full of stars, that is said to be where the creators of AUs reside. Very few characters go so far in the OOB.
In between :
• The void between the AUs. It is devoid of breathable air, often dark and lightless as well. Some multiversers are unaffected by the lack of air, but stay careful ! We don't know what lurks or leaks in the in-between
Diagram made by Bloomenvogel and Neon Ross for the Out of Bound as we see it in WTTMV
Tumblr media
Note : this diagram applies to wttmv, but feel free to use I with your characters if you want ! Just like all of those rules, we made those to help make the story as a whole
Out of Bound Inhabitants
Natives of OOB :
• The Out of Bound is often said to have a mind of its own... It will sometimes create its own variants of the core cast, for reasons still obscures to this day. Notable characters born from the OOB : Observer, Courier, Messenger
"Refugies"
• Cast or OC characters that had their worlds destroyed/corrupted/collapsed, and who are left to wander in the multiverse. Most often they will end up in Peacekeeper's domaine until they can be rehomed in a flexible tape or new universe, or adapt to the Out of Bounds.
• A character that adapts to the Out of Bounds will then be called "Multiverser" along with the native of OOB
• Characters considered "refugies turned multiverser" in wttmv : Peacekeeper, Filante, Trader, ShopKeeper, Watcheye, Stitcher, Croupier
Multiversers :
• Multiversers are the inhabitants of the Out of Bounds. Often times, they are anomalies that have developped specific abilities allowing them to reside or survive in the Out of Bounds. Those abilities often includes being able to travel to multiple flexible tapes, but not always. A multiverser will almost always be a variant of a cast character, and rarely, if not ever, a y/n or fan oc. (If you wonder why y/n and ocs are excluded from being multiversers specifically, it's because Y/N is at its core a you self insert, but *you* are supposed to be viewers in the story. It's fine when in a pocket universe like Keeper's and Trader, a y/n can exist there, but in the oob it could causes some problems of logic with viewer influence and control, or the focus of the story could go astray to fit a y/n, which is not a story we want to tell. It kinda goes for ocs too)
__________________
I tried to say as much as I could without much spoilers... For the reminder, I already explained the main, general chronology of wttmv on the site
Ik, ik, it's a bit of a hassle to go search and look and all. Tbh the site is kind of a way to give a bit of a treat for the really big fans who are ready to go on a separate site to get lore lmao /lh
But now I get to ramble here too ! Hurray !
TLDR :
OOB is big and weird. The AUs and Variants can be interacted with only if allowed by the creators. Multiversers are the weird cast variants living in the oob. The OOB is kinda like an onion, it has layers. Most characters always stay in the multiverse part.

I Know Places
Enemies to Lovers!Din Djarin x F!Reader
Main Masterlist | Din Djarin Masterlist
Author’s note: Special thank you’s to @nostalxgic for making this beautiful graphic and @wannab-urs, @ramblers-lets-get-ramblin, @mandoisapunk, and @theredviper for beta reading this for me! 🥹 Also I used this guide to help determine how long it takes to get from Tatooine to Coruscant… which isn’t that accurate at all lmao but roughly 22 standard days of travel is convenient for this story specifically so I'm going with that. All of my other Star Wars fics are much better with travel times/lore I promise but as the official writers of Star Wars say, “hyperspace travels as fast as the plot” 😉
Summary: You’re on Tatooine running from your life from some goons on Coruscant who you owe credits to; credits you definitely don’t have. Just when you think you’re alone, a Mandalorian captures you to bring you in. What started out as hatred for each other morphs into apathy into tolerance and finally, into feelings for each other.
Word count: 7k
Warnings: reader is able-bodied, canon divergent, takes place when Grogu is with Luke, long live the Razor Crest, helmet stays on, descriptions of reader being dehydrated/sick, taking medication, restraints, Din is an asshole at first, eventual feelings, nipple play, fingering, oral sex (M receiving), vaginal sex, unprotected sex, creampie, canon typical violence, use of Mando'a words (cyar'ika = sweetheart), no use of y/n
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
The hot suns of Tatooine burn the back of your neck as you trudge along the desert. Your feet feel like a million pounds, every step takes all of your energy that you can muster. Not only are you physically exhausted but you’re also beating yourself up mentally. It’s your own fault you’re here on this shithole of a planet running for your life. You got tied up with the wrong crowd, a crime lord named Garo and his goons on the lower levels of Coruscant. And now you owe them a hefty sum of credits; credits you definitely don’t have.
You get the sense you’re being watched; like someone is following you. You turn to look for another set of footprints in the sand but there’s only your own. You spun around too fast and now you’re feeling dizzy. When was the last time you had water? You can’t remember.
You spot a valley in the distance with some shaded patches from the rocks above; a break from the harsh suns. You make it there as fast as you can (which is still rather slow) and plop yourself down in the sand. You pat your sides to make sure you still have your dagger and blaster attached to your belt; the only methods of defense you have. You’re not even that good with a blaster and it’s not yours. You stole it before you left Coruscant, hitching a ride with a stranger who was also traveling to Tatooine, giving him pretty much all of the credits you had left. And as for the dagger… What good is that going to do? A dagger is only useful if the threat is close to you and by that point you’re probably dead anyway.
You close in on yourself, balling yourself up as tight as you can, as if you’ll fall apart at any given moment. It feels like the entire weight of the galaxy is on your shoulders and you’re going to let it swallow you whole.
-
You must’ve fallen asleep. You’re sprawled out on the sand, still under the small patch of shade, you think. You haven’t opened your eyes yet. Your mouth feels like sandpaper and you’re severely dehydrated. If this continues any longer it’ll prove to be fatal. You open your eyes slowly, expecting to see rocks or the unforgiving suns of Tatooine above you. But instead… you’re met with the sight of a silver helmet and the stone-cold stare of its visor glaring down at you.
You attempt to yell but it comes out as a weakened gasp. Scrambling backwards you try to inch away from the looming figure above you. You struggle to your feet and try to run away but due to your impaired state, it’s no use. A leather glove grabs your wrist and you feel what must be cuffs locking– you’ve been captured. Your worst fears are coming true; you’re gonna be sent back to Coruscant where you’ll most definitely be put to death.
“I have to say, that was easier than I thought,” the masked man says, keeping a hand wrapped around your arm as he leads you away from your resting spot.
“W-what?” you choke out, barely audible.
“I didn’t think you were going to be so frail.”
“I’ve been alone in the desert for many days… without any water.”
“Judging by your state I won’t be able to carbon freeze you.”
“Carbon freeze me?”
…Who did they send after you?
“Consider yourself lucky.”
You roll your eyes.
“Lucky? I don’t even know who you are. How threatening could you even possibly be?”
He stops walking and turns to face you, the helmet getting closer in your face. You can see your reflection in it, just how tired and sick you look.
“Do you want to test that?” he says sternly.
“N-no,” you stutter.
“Good. Now let’s go,” he says, dragging you along. If he wasn’t holding you upright you’d be face planted in the sand.
The mysterious man leads you to his ship, a Razor Crest, lowering the exit ramp and pulling you inside. And now you’re standing right by his carbonite freezer, feeling thankful for your desiccated state. He seals the ship and sits you down on a crate and pulls one across to sit in front of you. The T-shaped visor burning a hole into you as he sits, stoic and not saying a word. Now that you’re not blinded by the sun or being dragged you get a better look at him; full silver beskar, an imposing stance, and completely adorned in all sorts of weapons.
“So you’re taking me back to Coruscant?”
“Mhm.”
“You know he’s gonna kill me, right?”
“That’s not my problem. I get hired to do a job and I do it. I don’t ask questions. I don’t get involved.”
“Who are you?”
“A bounty hunter.”
“But who are you?”
“Wouldn’t you like to know?”
“You’re a Mandalorian, aren’t you?”
You’ve heard rumors about them; legends even. You know they’re strong, skilled warriors; a relentless group of people. They sent one of the best bounty hunters in the galaxy after you… feels like overkill.
“And that’s all you need to know about me,” he says.
“I’m going to take any weapons you have, uncuff you so you can get to the cockpit, and then once you’re sitting the cuffs go back on, got it?” he continues.
“I’m not much of a threat to you,” you declare.
“I know you’re not,” he says, unclipping the blaster in your holster, “But who knows what sorts of ideas you’ll get if I leave you with these,” he continues, holding the blaster in front of your face.
“Who knows what you’ll try to do as I’m piloting the ship,” he finishes, holding the dagger in front of your face again.
He gets up and stores your weapons with his own, closing the compartment so you can’t get to them. He stands to the side of you and starts to undo your cuffs. And that’s when something stupid overtakes you. You’re going to try to run.
Once your wrists are free you make a run for the exit, trying desperately to lower the ramp. You feel him behind you immediately, spinning you around, grabbing your wrists and pinning them above your head.
“That wasn’t wise,” he says by your ear, really coming out as a growl.
“Just kill me already,” you spit out.
“Can’t. They requested you be brought in alive.”
You groan just as he draws his blaster, which shifts your groan into a gasp.
“What are you-”
“They don’t care if you’re injured or not. Now get in the cockpit,” he says, grabbing your shoulder and placing you in front of him as he walks, the tip of the blaster against your back.
He coaxes you to climb up the ladder, keeping the blaster aimed at you the whole time. You sit in one of the passenger seats and strap in and that’s when the cuffs return, much to your dismay. He sits in the pilot seat and prepares the ship for takeoff while your stomach swirls with nerves. He takes off from Tatooine and enters space. Once he’s locked a coordinate and sets a path, he makes the jump to lightspeed.
He turns his seat around and looks at you, “We have roughly twenty two standard days until we get to Coruscant.”
You nod. You knew that when you escaped Coruscant, but it’s also annoying that you’re going to be stuck with this asshole cooped up in his ship for what’s gonna feel like forever. He gets up from the pilot seat and starts to head back down to the storage area, without bringing you with him.
“What about me?!” you call over your shoulder.
“What about you?” he deadpans.
“I can’t-” you start to say but he cuts you off.
“No you’re staying there.”
“Can I at least have water?”
He lets out a long modulated sigh, as if your dehydration is a burden to him. You hear him rustle around the storage area of the ship and climb back up the ladder. He hands you a small canteen, not saying a word.
“Thanks,” you grumble, taking it in your hands.
You place it in between your thighs and try to open it with your cuffed hands but it’s no use. He sighs again and takes it from you; like you’re a wounded animal he’s being forced to help. He opens it and hands it back to you. He watches you struggle to take a sip of water and you wonder if he’s looking at you with pity or disgust under that helmet. You finish the water and hand the canteen back to him as best as you can with these stupid cuffs on. You lean back in the seat and rest your eyes, wishing you were back in the desert instead of being stuck in this trap with Mando.
-
You wake up with a stiff neck and sore wrists. You groan as you lean forward, wishing for nothing more than to be free from these cuffs and out of this seat. Mando climbs up the ladder behind you, stopping next to your seat. With his visor glaring down at you he says, “You’re finally awake.”
“How long was I asleep?”
“Pretty much a full standard day.”
“And you let me sleep that long.”
“One less thing for me to worry about.”
“Thanks,” you say, sarcastically.
“Are you ever gonna let me out of these cuffs?”
“Depends on-” he starts to say, but you cut him off, completely fed up at this point.
“I’m not going anywhere. We’re in the middle of space. I can’t take you in a fight and even if I could I don’t know how to fly this thing,” you snap.
He sighs again, a signature for him at this point, and moves to undo your cuffs. As soon as you’re free you immediately stand up to stretch out, feeling some of the tension leave your body.
“Do I have to stay up here?” you ask.
“I guess not,” he says reluctantly.
You’re still a little wobbly on your feet, from the sleep but also the extreme dehydration and fatigue from your time in the desert. You take a step towards the ladder and stumble, almost falling forward until Mando catches you by your wrist, pulling you back into him.
“Are you still not feeling well?”
“Not really,” you say, hyper-aware of the cool beskar against your back.
“Let me go down first. I’ll be there to catch you if you fall.”
“Uh, sure.”
“Would you rather I just let you fall?”
“No, no. That’s fine,” you say quickly.
He lets go of you and has you hold onto the seat while he heads down the ladder. Carefully, you walk towards the ladder and lower yourself down. As you climb down you feel Mando’s ghost of a touch around your waist, barely there but ready to grip you if you fall. You step down onto the floor and think you’re in the clear but your knees buckle underneath you and you lose your balance. But Mando catches you, steadying you and holding onto your waist tightly as you find your balance.
“I don’t feel good,” you say, a sudden wave of nausea washing over you.
“Do you need to lay down?”
“Y-yeah, and I need water.”
You feel him pull you over to what must be his sleeping quarters. He sets you down on his cot and leaves to grab another canteen of water, returning swiftly with it and opening it for you even though he already took off your cuffs. You take a few sips and set it on the shelf next to you. You get under the blanket and lay down while he turns off the light. You hear a faint sound, what you think is his glove coming off. All of a sudden his bare hand rests against your forehead, checking your temperature.
“You’re burning up.”
“Yup.”
“Hang on,” he says, slipping his glove back on leaving to grab something.
He returns and turns the light on. You blink a few times and get adjusted to the light again. He extends his hand to you, holding a pill in his gloved palm.
You look at it with a suspicious expression on your face. Why would you take a random pill from him? What if it’s just something to knock you out until you get back to Coruscant so you don’t have to be his problem anymore?
“It’s for your fever.”
Looking at it reluctantly you still contemplate whether or not you should take it.
“I’m not lying,” he says.
“Fine,” you say, grabbing the pill from his hand and the canteen off the shelf. You take the pill followed by a sip of water, and put the canteen away. Feeling tired again already, you lay back down on the cot and drift off to sleep, hoping to wake up well rested for once.
-
You didn’t sleep peacefully. You were tossing and turning, shivering and breaking a sweat. What you don’t know is that Mando was worried sick about you. He stayed up and by your side the whole time, keeping a watchful eye on you. Under the helmet, he wore a concerned expression on his face, taking note of every time you stirred in your sleep, every time you shivered, the furrow of your brow, and the beads of sweat on your forehead. It was from that moment he decided to drop the hardened bounty hunter act and shift into protective mode. But the next step is getting you to trust him.
-
You wake up the next morning feeling a bit better but still tired. You kicked off the blanket in your sleep and you can tell your fever has dissipated but the quality of the sleep you had was not great. Mando’s cot isn’t the most comfortable place to sleep but it sure beats sleeping on the sands of Tatooine any day. You roll over on the cot to see Mando sitting beside you, startling you.
“Have you been there the whole time?” you ask, once the small wave of shock wears off.
“Yes.”
“Why? Just to make sure I didn’t go anywhere or do anything?” you ask sourly.
“What? No, I-”
“I already told you. I’m not going anywhere. I’m not doing anything. I’m stuck here with you,” you say through gritted teeth, feeling truly fed up with him at this point.
He sighs, not out of annoyance but out of defeat, and hangs his head. You sit up on the cot and declare, “I need to use your refresher.”
“Of course,” he says, standing up, “Do you need help getting there?”
“No,” you say, rising and brushing past him. He sighs behind you but you don’t care. The storage area of the ship is small so the refresher isn’t hard to find. You step inside and turn on the water. You take off your clothes and hang them on a hook before getting in. Letting  the water run over your body, you wash away the dirt from the desert, your sickness, and your exhaustion. You’re taking your time, not caring about using all of his hot water until you hear a soft knock on the door.
“What?” you call out, already getting annoyed.
“Can I come in? I have some clean clothes for you. I promise I won’t look.”
“I guess,” you respond, feeling a little relieved however that he didn’t yell at you for using all his hot water.
You hear the door open and you watch him step inside, keeping to his word and not facing the refresher. He sets the clothes on the sink and leaves. You poke your head out of the refresher and look at the clothes, curious as to why he has a spare set of women’s clothes lying around. And they’re… strange to say the least. A silver, extremely formal top and black pants that are on the complete opposite of the spectrum; casual wear. He is trying to be nice, you suppose.
You get out of the refresher and dry off with the only towel you see, trying to ignore that it’s his, and the only one he uses most likely, before putting on your new clothes. You step back out into the storage area where he’s waiting, sitting on a crate.
“Thanks for the clothes, I guess. Where did you even get these?”
“Previous… entanglements.”
“Entanglements?”
“You know what I meant,” he says, standing up.
“So on top of being your ‘job’, do you think I’m gonna be another one of your ‘entanglements’, too??” you ask, placing a hand on your hip.
“No! No, I gave them to you because… I just feel bad for you.”
Oh, now you’re absolutely livid.
“I don’t need anyone’s pity!” you yell, getting in his face (well really helmet).
“I’m just trying to help you out,” he says, calmly.
“Help me out? By taking me in for a bounty? To people who are most definitely going to kill me?” you press further.
He’s silent, not looking at you and keeping his visor locked onto the floor.
“So what is it then? Am I just another job to you or am I someone you actually care about? Because I can’t be both,” you say, folding your arms.
“I can’t… I can’t answer that,” he says softly.
You scoff and turn on your heel, heading back to his sleep quarters.
“Don’t follow me,” you snap over your shoulder.
You hear him sigh in defeat again before climbing up the ladder to the cockpit. Serves him right.
You lay down on his cot and turn over so you’re facing the wall away from the door. You close your eyes and try to fall asleep but as you’re alone with your thoughts you realize that some part of you… feels bad for him? As backwards as that sounds, you can tell that he was being genuine with you and so what if he feels bad for you? Who wouldn’t feel bad for you right now? He must not usually develop feelings for his bounties, and he’s probably facing some internal conflict right now. You sigh and get out of the cot, heading over to the ladder. You climb up to the cockpit and in a small voice you say, “Hey… I’m sorry about all of that.”
“Don’t be sorry. You were right,” he says, turning around in the pilot seat.
You sit in the passenger seat and face him, taking a deep breath before asking, “Do you… Do you have feelings for me?”
He tenses up at your question and you can visibly see him sit up straighter after hearing that.
“I’m not… used to it. Everything I’ve ever had with anyone was just some meaningless fling.”
You nod, just letting him finish. This is like the most you’ve ever heard him speak in one sitting.
“And I feel stupid because you’re one of my bounties. I’m not supposed to do this. I’m not supposed to develop feelings or get attached,” he continues, sounding even more frustrated and confused.
“Yeah, it’s not ideal… But we still have a while to go… Why not make the best of it?”
“Really? You’re okay with that?”
“Might as well enjoy myself before I go,” you shrug.
“Okay,” he sighs, “What do you want to do now?”
“Are you tired?”
He tilts his helmet to the side and before he can answer you speak first.
“That was a stupid question. Of course, you’re tired. I’ve been hogging your cot.”
“I don’t mind,” he chuckles.
You nod and climb back down the ladder before heading back to his cot. It’s pretty small, like it’s probably barely big enough for him. He meets you in his sleeping quarters and leans against the door frame.
“How do you want to do this?” you ask.
“Hm, we’ll probably have to spoon.”
“O-Okay,” you say, trying to ignore the excitement brewing between your legs.
He gets on the cot first, laying on his side and facing you.
“You sleep with all that on?”
“Not all of it, but it’s just a nap, right?”
“Mhm, just a nap,” you say, getting on the cot with him and pressing your back up against his chest.
He pulls the blanket over you two and puts a protective arm around your waist. Soon enough you hear soft snores coming out as heavy breathing underneath the helmet. He really was tired.
-
You wake up to the feeling of something hard pressed up against your lower back and ass. The excitement brews between your legs again. You think about how strong Mando is and how he can manhandle you and how big his cock probably is and– yeah, you're definitely wet.
You feel Mando stir behind you so you shake your ass a bit. That seems to wake him up instantly because you feel a hand grip your hip tightly followed by some cursing under his breath. You lift your leg so it’s resting over his, spreading your legs apart. He takes the hand that’s on your hip and moves it to your inner thigh, slowly inching closer to the waistband of your pants. You press your ass into him more and finally, he’s had enough of your teasing. He pushes the blanket to the side and dives his hand down your pants, running his gloved fingers along your entrance. You rest your head against him and close your eyes, reveling in the feeling of his fingers stroking you and spreading around your wetness. He pulls his hand back for a second and you think he’s done but he’s really tugging off his glove and returning his hand to your entrance, wanting to feel your wetness himself without the glove in the way. He pushes a finger in slowly, listening to the soft gasps you let out at the feeling of his finger entering you. He curls it against your walls slowly, just to get you extra worked up before inserting another. You grind your ass against him as he fingers you, getting wetter but also wishing for something besides his fingers.
“Need your cock,” you whine.
“Not until you cum first,” he growls in your ear.
You whimper and let him continue to finger you, his fingers pushing up against your g-spot perfectly. He brings his thumb to your clit, rubbing small circles and with that you’re at the brink of orgasm. You cum around his fingers, your cunt fluttering and soaking his hand down to his wrist as he whispers words of praise in your ear.
“Good girl, cyar’ika,” he says. You make a mental note to ask him what that word means later when you’re not distracted.
As you ride out your high you ask him, “Can I please have your cock now?”
“I suppose,” he teases.
He moves so he’s laying on his back and you shift to straddle him. You position yourself so that his cock is in front of you so you can pull it out and stroke it. You run your hand over the bulge in his flight suit and hear him groan under the helmet. You pull his cock out and take a look at it twitching in your hand. Somehow it’s everything you pictured it would be; long, girthy, and uncut. You start by rubbing your thumb over the head; over the pre-cum leaking out of the tip before stroking the entire length. The precum leaking from the tip spreads onto his head and down the shaft, lubing it up for him as you continue to stroke it, getting him extra hard and extra frustrated before you sit on it. He folds his arms behind his head, visor fixed on your hand on his cock. You stop stroking him for a moment to pull off your shirt over your head, watching the visor move from his cock to your chest. You give him a few more strokes before you inch up to straddle him above his cock, sinking down onto it slowly and feeling it stretch your walls. He groans at the feeling of his cock being enveloped in your warmth. You take a moment to get adjusted to his size before leaning forward. You rest your hands on his breastplate, staring directly into his visor as you rock your hips back and forth. But as you move your breast bounce perfectly and his gaze trails down to them, watching them move as you fuck yourself on his cock. He tugs off his other glove, scrambling to bring them to your breasts already, caressing the outline of them before taking your nipples between his fingertips.
“You take it so well, cyar’ika,” he says, coming out as a low, modulated purr from under the helmet.
You moan in response just as you pull your hips back, feeling his cock hit all of the deepest angles inside you.
“M-Mando, I’m gonna cum,” you moan.
“Din,” he says sternly.
“W-What?” you say, blissed out and barely hanging on.
“My name is Din. Say my name when you cum,” he growls, pinching your nipples on the last word.
“Yes, Din,” you say, continuing to grind your hips until you feel the floodgates open.
“Din, I’m coming,” you moan, watching him nod as your eyes are locked onto his visor.
You cum with him buried deep inside you, your cunt convulsing around him. The movement of your hips slows down as you cum, closing your eyes and throwing your head back in pleasure as you take in the moment of feeling full. Your orgasm pulls his own from him, spilling ropes of his cum inside you. You’re silently grateful for your implant at this moment as you feel his warm release inside you. You lean forward and rest against his chest, still keeping him inside you until he goes soft and eventually slips out. You feel his bare hand stroke your back as you lay against him.
“You’re incredible,” he says absentmindedly, resting both of his hands flat against your back.
“Thanks, Din,” you giggle, emphasizing his name.
He chuckles nervously and you can tell he’s embarrassed.
“Do you normally not tell anyone your name?” you ask, sitting back up.
“Not unless I trust you.”
“You think you can trust me?” you ask.
“I think so,” he says softly.
You lean forward so you’re face to face with the helmet, looking deeply into the visor.
“I wish I could see you,” you say, not realizing what words are slipping out of your mouth.
“I know, cyar’ika.”
“What does that mean?”
“It’s just… a Mando’a word.”
“For what?” you chuckle, pressing further.
“...Sweetheart.”
Oh.
Butterflies form in your stomach and in order to prevent him from seeing that stupid smile that’s about to form on your face, you lean forward and rest your head against his chest again.
“Is that… Is that okay?”
“Mhm. It’s more than okay, Din,” you say softly, trying to hide the giddiness in your voice.
Your stomach grumbles as you rest against him. You silently curse it for ruining the sweet moment, but Din asks, “When was the last time you’ve eaten, cyar’ika?”
“Uhh, it’s been a while.”
“Let me get you something,” he says gently.
You sigh and reluctantly roll over so he can slide off the cot. He returns with rations and says, “I know it’s not much but I don’t want you to go hungry.”
“This is fine, Din. Thank you,” you say, grabbing the rations from him and going to get out of the cot.
“No, no. You need to rest,” he says sternly.
“What? Why?”
“You haven’t eaten in a while and… you just did all the work.”
“Oh yeah, I guess I did,” you chuckle, lying down and pulling the blanket over you.
“I’m gonna go check the ship’s course. You eat and rest, okay?”
“Okay,” you nod, getting comfortable.
He leaves and climbs the ladder to the cockpit. You already miss him next to you, but the truth is he needs a moment alone because he’s morally confused. The last time he developed some sort of emotional attachment to a bounty he was briefly kicked out of the guild, and the Mandalorian covert had to relocate. Who knows what kind of consequences he could face for this? But when he comes back down to the sleeping quarters and watches you peacefully rest he knows two things; he has undeniable feelings for you, and he needs to make a decision. There are still roughly eighteen cycles or so left of the journey. He has some time to make a decision, but he better start contemplating now.
-
You wake up after who knows how long. The days blend together on the ship, especially when you feel like you’re in an endless cycle of sleeping for unspecified chunks of time. You look over and see Din sitting beside you and sleeping, his leg up and foot resting on his knee. The visor is angled at the floor, and his snoring is coming out as heavy breathing again.
“Din,” you say quietly, lightly shaking his knee.
He wakes up, slightly startled for a moment before realizing it’s just you.
“What is it, cyar’ika? Are you okay?”
“I’m okay. I just wanted to know how long we have left.”
“Around eighteen standard days or so.”
You nod and lay back down, trying to ignore the pit forming in your stomach at the thought of your time ending together. In the back of your mind you hope that some part of him will change his mind and will choose to not bring you in. But he’s a professional and this is how he makes a living. Who are you to change that for him?
“Can I ask you something?” he says quietly.
“Sure.”
“What did you do to get a bounty on your head?”
“I used to live in the lower levels of Coruscant where there’s a lot of violence. Garo and his gang would extort people for protection, myself included. It’s dangerous to be a woman living there alone. But eventually I didn’t have enough credits anymore, and they started coming after me… So I ran.”
“...I see.”
“Not what you expected, huh?” you chuckle.
“No, I-”
“I’m not some big, bad criminal. I’m just a normal person who got mixed up with the wrong crowd.”
“I know. I’m not judging you,” he says gently.
You nod, and he tells you to get some more rest. You happily oblige.
-
And so over the next two weeks, you fall into a routine of sleeping, eating rations, having sex, using the refresher and repeating. Your feelings for him grow even deeper, and you wonder if he’s feeling the same. You try not to think about how leaving him when he drops you back off on Coruscant will be one of the most devastating things you have to go through.
You have roughly four standard days left of your journey, and you’re about to do something you haven’t done yet; give Din a blowjob. He’s sitting in the pilot seat, facing the control panel, and you’re kneeling on the floor. You watch his cock pitch a tent in his flight suit and lightly run your hands over the bulge. His breath hitches at your touch as you release his cock from the fabric but instead of taking it in your hand, you press kisses along his groin and to the base of his shaft. He groans, aching for his cock in your mouth already. You decide he’s been teased enough and trail your tongue from the base of his shaft up to the tip, swirling your tongue around the head before taking his full length (or as much as you can fit) in your mouth. You bob your head up and down, cupping his balls with one hand and wrapping the other around the base of his cock. You glance up at him as you suck him off, looking straight into the visor and imagining what he looks like right now underneath the helmet; what he looks like when he’s feeling immense pleasure.
He lets out a strained, “cyar’ika” and you notice his hands beside him clenching into fists as you suck harder. His sounds become incessant, and you feel him get restless; he’s about to cum. But before you can bury his cock deeper in your mouth, he grabs each side of your face, stopping you.
“Not so fast, cyar’ika. I’m coming inside you when I fuck you,” he growls.
You nod, a little bit of his pre-cum mixed with your saliva dripping down your chin. He swipes it away with his thumb and says, “Over the control panel. Now.”
You get up, kicking off your pants and pulling your shirt over your head. You turn around so you’re facing the view from the ship, in disbelief that you’re about to get fucked with the view of hyperspace in front of you. You bend over and rest your arms on the control panel, careful not to touch any buttons, and stick your ass up for him. He gives your ass a squeeze before taking off his gloves and bringing two fingers to your cunt, running them up and down your entrance. You whine at the feather-light touch while he takes the time to play with your wetness and get you riled up. He chuckles at your frustration before pushing a finger inside you. He works your walls, swiftly adding a second finger and making you ache for his cock more. He pulls his fingers from you once he thinks you’ve been teased enough and slicks his cock with your wetness. He grabs your hips and pulls you into him, thrusting his cock into you in one clean motion.
“I’m gonna make you feel so good, cyar’ika,” he says.
You moan in response and you feel his cock stretch your walls. He reaches around you, bringing a hand to your clit. He rubs small circles around it as his cock gets buried deeper inside you. Tears spring in the corners of your eyes as he rails you over the control panel and stimulates your clit. With one last slam of his hips, you’re coming around his cock, stars sprinkling your vision as your orgasm overtakes you. A warm, tingling feeling originates at your core and spreads outwards, making your knees weak. He keeps you upright as you ride out your high, the convulsing feeling of your cunt drawing his own orgasm from him. You feel his cock spill his release inside you, filling you with the familiar feeling of his cum inside you. He pulls out once he’s finished and sits on the pilot seat, catching his breath. You stand upright and stretch before sitting on his lap and wrapping an arm around him, resting your head against his helmet.
You’re both silent for a moment, and you know why. You only have a few more standard days left of your journey, and it’s suddenly getting real for you both that this is all about to end.
“Can I say something?” he says quietly.
“Of course, Din.”
“I think… I think I love you,” he says with a shaky breath.
“You think?” you chuckle.
“I’m sorry that came out wrong. I mean, we haven't been together that long and I think I’m-”
“Relax! I think what you’re trying to say is that you’re falling for me. And I feel the same way.”
“You said it a lot better than I could’ve,” he grumbles.
You laugh and rest against him for a few moments before continuing.
“Well, don’t fall any harder because it’s all ending soon,” you sigh.
“Don’t remind me,” he says softly.
“I won’t,” you whisper, “We still have a few more cycles left. Let’s enjoy it while we can, shall we?”
He nods, and the two of you sit there silently, just enjoying each other’s company and trying to ignore the dread you’re both feeling.
-
Your journey with Din has come to an end. You’re strapped in the passenger seat as he begins his descent into Coruscant. Both of you are silent. You feel like if you open your mouth you’ll just start crying, and Din doesn’t even know what to say at all, for fear of making the whole situation worse.
He lands on a docking yard, and before you exit the Razor Crest, he stops at the weapon storage and hands you your blaster and dagger.
“Just in case you need them,” he says in a gloomy voice.
And with that, you start to head down to the lower levels of Coruscant. He places a hand on the small of your back as you walk through any crowded areas. It makes your heart flutter, but it also makes you heartbroken; heartbroken that this is the last physical contact you’ll get with him forever.
You head to Garo’s lair in the most obscure place of Coruscant and start to feel nauseous. This is it. Not only are you about to leave Din, but you’re pretty sure Garo and his goons are going to kill you since you can’t pay him back. Din knocks on the door, and one of his associates answers the door, giving you a nasty look. You head inside with Din and walk to the room where Garo is waiting. You wonder if Garo will wait until he’s gone to kill you. You hope he does. You don’t want Din to have to see that.
“Well, look who it is,” Garo says, sitting at a table counting credits.
Neither of you say anything as you step closer, stopping in front of his table.
“Good job, Mando. Hopefully she didn’t give you too much trouble. Bring her to me,” he continues.
One of his goons grabs you by the arm and drags you over to him. You look at Din one last time, fearing that this is it. They’re going to kill you in front of him.
Garo rises from his chair, looking you in the eye with a devious expression on his face.
“And let me guess, you don’t have the credits you owe me, do you?”
You say nothing, paralyzed with fear.
“Answer me!” he yells.
You quickly shake your head no, feeling your knees go weak.
“Just as I thought,” he sighs, grabbing the blaster from his belt and holding it against your forehead.
“You knew this was coming, though, didn’t you?”
Tears spring in your eyes, for your own sake but also for Din’s. You can’t grasp why they’re making him watch this. He did the job, they should just pay him and let him go. You close your eyes and hope for all this to be over soon.
You hear a blaster go off, and you wince. But you’re still standing; still breathing. You open your eyes and see Garo on the floor, a blaster hole in the side of his head. You turn and look where it came from and see Din, with his blaster still drawn. Garo’s goons start firing, and Din shouts, “Run, cyar’ika! Back to the Crest!”
You’ve escaped this place once before, and you can do it again. You bolt, heading for the exit and hearing all the commotion happening behind you. You place your hand on your blaster attached to your belt, prepared to start firing behind you. But they seem to be too preoccupied with taking down Din to worry about chasing after you for right now. A part of you is worried they’ll get Din but you know he’s strong and well protected. But it’s weird not having him by your side as you run for your life. You exit onto the crowded street and push past groups of people, not caring who you hit or run into. You sprint back to the docking yard, heading back up to the Crest. You don’t know how to open the exit ramp so you anxiously pace back and forth, waiting for him to suddenly appear.
And he does, running towards you and lowering the exit ramp hurriedly.
“I bought us some time,” he says quickly, “But we have to go. Now.”
You run inside and head up the ladder to the cockpit, wondering where in the galaxy Din is going to take you. Garo’s reach is powerful and if he could send someone to find you on Tatooine, surely one of his associates will also send someone else after you, the both of you now.
Din meets you in the cockpit and prepares the Crest for takeoff, lifting off quickly. But to no one’s surprise, there are ships following you. He speeds up, trying his hardest to get into space quickly so he can make the jump to lightspeed.
And just as the ships behind you start shooting, he makes the jump, sighing in relief that you’re safe… for now.
“Where are we going?”
“I know a place… somewhere they won’t find us.”
“I doubt that, Din. If they sent you to find me on Tatooine, they’ll send someone after us both. No matter where we go.”
He spins around in the pilot seat to face you and says, “Have you heard of Seelos?”
“...No?”
“Exactly. They won’t find us there.”
“Well, what kind of planet is it?”
He’s silent, like he’s nervous to reveal what Seelos is like. And then it dawns on you.
“Don't tell me it’s a-”
“It’s a desert. Because I know you love them so much,” he deadpans.
You sigh but before you can say anything else he says, “But there’s also mountains. We can live there.”
“I’d live anywhere as long as it's with you, Din.”
“Me, too, cyar’ika.”
You take a deep breath, feeling at peace for the first time in a while. Knowing you have Din by your side you know you’re safe, always.

ToA Theory 1 - Apollo's Waking Visions
First official theory post, here we go! :D
Alright. So. After rereading The Dark Prophecy, I started wondering about something. In TDP, Apollo experiences waking visions, where he conks out for a bit and has prophetic visions.
I found this interesting because, well...isn't Apollo supposed to be cut off from prophecy? With Python back in control of Delphi?
Because think about it. Python controls Delphi, the root of all earthly prophecy. This would include Dodona, Trophonius, Herophile, and Sibyl - sure, they aren't strictly connected to Delphi, but it's pretty heavily stated that Delphi just straight-up Makes The Future. It's prophecies are The Big Deal and you Should Listen.
Meanwhile the other Oracles seem more guiding and "beware!" instead of "this is how it's gonna be".
(sidenote: found out there are MORE oracles and I wanna know WHERE THEY ARE IN RRVERSE CANON because I want my boy Branchus okay??? Okay. Branchus's oracle was second only to Delphi let's give Apollo's first boyfriend the attention he deserves!)
So of course, like all great members of this fandom, I started thinking.
Let's do a little family history first. ;)
Buckle up. We go down a deep rabbit hole 😎
Apollo and Artemis are twins, born to Leto and Zeus. Zeus's parents are Kronos and Rhea. Leto's are Koios and Phoebe.
Rhea has connections to Dodona, as we learn in-series, but she doesn't really seem to be all that involved with prophecy.
Her siblings, meanwhile...ho ho ho, they are a WHOLE NOTHER STORY!
Let's start with Phoebe. Phoebe, like all first generation Titans, is the daughter of Gaea and Ouranos. She married her brother Koios. Her children consist of Asteria, Lelantos, and Leto. As well as Artemis and Apollo, her other two grandchildren are Hecate (Asteria) and Aura (Lelantos).
Her name means "bright" and is the root of Apollo's most famous epithet - Phoebus. She is often described as "golden-crowned" and is the Titan of bright intellect, the overseer of Earthly Prophecies, and is the second guardian of Delphi, after her sister Themis. She gifted Delphi to Apollo for his birthday after he defeated Python.
Classic grandmother move.
Anyway. There's a bit of Phoebe lore. Time for her elusive husband :3
Koios. His names means "question" or "questioning", probably because he's the Titan of inquiring intellect. He's also the overseer of Heavenly Prophecies, and has an oracle up in the North Pole guarded by an earth-dragon - you'd know this serpent by the name of Draco, the constellation btw. Additionally, Hyperborea (where Apollo goes in the winter times) is part of his domain.
eyes
Unfortunately, we have very little mythological lore on these two, and even less in the RRverse (I cling to that one (1) Koios scene) which sucks because I love them already BUT it does give me lots of legroom to mess around with canon >:)
Back to the theory now. As you may have guessed, I'll be taking us in a direction concerning Apollo's mysterious grandparents. But what does this have to do with Apollo's visions?
Well. Remember when I mentioned that Delphi is the root of all earthly prophecies?
...look at Phoebe's paragraphs. She's the overseer of Earthly Prophecies, right? So it makes sense she's been affected by Python's takeover too.
(if you've read my fics you'd know this already lmao)
Asteria, Apollo's aunt, is a little trickier. She, too, has a hand in divination, but mainly through the night/stars and dreams. <-will come back to that later.
Koios, again, is overseer of Heavenly Prophecies, and is heavily implied to be able to commune with Ouranos's spirit. This is, apparently, a Big Deal because nobody else is mentioned to be able to do this.
...Except...remember this throwaway line in The Hidden Oracle?
Tumblr media
^Apollo can see Ouranos too.
Within this theory is a sub-theory, so to speak - that immortals with the gift of prophecy can see Ouranos, since they can see what cannot be seen. This would include Phoebe, Asteria, Koios, and Apollo.
And it'll make sense why they'd keep it to themselves. Kronos wouldn't have been happy to hear his dad was still around. Neither would Zeus, for that matter.
So here I was. Contemplating. Wrote a few fics based around this idea. And one in particular got me thinking (fic in question being When The Stars Align), and a little ways down the road I realized something.
If Phoebe, the overseer of Earthly Prophecies, would have been affected by Python's takeover...was Koios? Could he even be affected?
Because here's the deal: Koios is the overseer of Heavenly Prophecies. Prophecies from the Sky.
Phoebe's are of the Earth - the Earth that Python has taken control of. And Delphi is the root of Earthly Prophecies - not Heavenly.
That would be Koios's oracle, up in the North Pole with Draco.
...So that means Heavenly Prophecy must have still been in business during ToA.
But then comes the question: If it was still within the gods' control, why didn't they use it?
Well...Draco's there, for one. He's probably the Python-equivalent of the North, and clearly he's still there since no myth has spoken of his death (that I know of).
If you ask me, I just think the gods are too nervous/afraid to try Koios's oracle. They were too scared to face Python, after all, until Apollo arrived. I think they'd be scared of a serpent who comes and goes from the stars as he pleases.
And as for why Apollo hasn't done anything about it...well, I think his fight with Python left him rather scarred, don't you think? He probably went "yeah grandma's oracle is enough" and the only time he ever got close to Koios's was during his time in Hyperborea.
So getting back to the main theory now. (So many rabbit holes to dive into with this post. The ADHD Urge is real)
Since Heavenly Prophecies is still active, but Earthly is in Python's control, I conclude Apollo's visions come from the Heavenly source.
Could they have come from the now-working Dodona? Maybe. But Dodona's all about those windchimes and trees. It doesn't have the Vibe, so to speak, for granting visions.
And remember. Trophonius, Herophile, and Sibyl aren't destroyed/freed yet. They have Zero connection to Apollo at this point because Python cut him off from them.
...but he didn't from the North. From Koios's divine power.
Because remember. Apollo is the god of prophecy.
Not of Earthly Prophecies, like Phoebe.
Not of Heavenly Prophecies, like Koios.
Not of nighttime divination and dreams like Asteria.
Of. Prophecy.
Prophecy as a whole. The entirety. The whole enchilada.
Every part of prophecy he's the god of, be it tarot cards to the Oracle of Delphi itself.
In my opinion, I think whatever Koios's Oracle is, it has just as must power as Delphi. The only problem was that...everybody just left it be. Nobody considered it because:
1) scary dragon
2) scary titan ruled the place
3) honestly at this point I think it's just straight-up forgotten about. Like Branchus's Oracle. I think at one point Apollo himself mentions there are other Oracles besides the ones in-series, but there's so many that his mortal brain cannot comprehend how many.
If the Grove of Dodona nearly faded into obscurity, then I think it's entirely possible Koios's Oracle was forgotten about (or so we think...I'm gonna be chewing on this for a while.)
Coming back round to TDP...I think this is a reasonable explanation about Apollo's visions. To summarize:
Apollo is cut off from Earthly Prophecy, his usual source of foresight that he gets from Phoebe
The unused, near-forgotten-about Heavenly Prophecy side of Apollo ignites to steer him on the right path
This is possible because Apollo is the god of prophecy itself, and not a single subset of prophecy, so he's not limited in the same way Phoebe is
Koios's Oracle is still out there and kicking and I will die on this hill
One problem. What about Asteria? She can interpret the future from the stars...aka the Sky. Like Koios. So couldn't she provide some insight to the future, since she, too, is connected to Heavenly Prophecy?
This is where things get a lil' tricky. And where I really slap on my tinfoil hat and start headcanoning my way through lmao
Basically, I think that since Asteria became the island of Delos (long story) a good chunk of her power is ingrained there. She's not as strong as she used to be, so her foresight isn't as strong.
This, in turn, I think could also serve as a reason why Koios's Oracle is "asleep" so to speak and nearly lost to memory in the RRverse - in fact, I think Asteria and Phoebe are the only ones who bother to remember its existence.
And Leto, of course. But I don't think she wants her son to know of another Oracle with a giant snake guarding it. She's had enough heart-attacks, thank you.
(Same with Lelantos, tbh.)
Canon is my sandbox and I am making some sweet sandcastles out of it XD
TL;DR
Apollo's visions in TDP stem from Koios's source of Heaven Prophecy because Phoebe's source of Earthly Prophecy (Delphi) has been taken over by Python. Koios's source firmly knocks on Apollo's mental doors and decides to kick back into gear to help its titular patron's grandson out. Because Apollo is the god of prophecy itself - every bit of it.
Extras:
I find it fascinating how magic and prophecy are both part of the same family tree (Hecate & Apollo).
and yes. You should expect a fic concerning Koios's Oracle at some point. but no promises on when :3
Thank you for coming to Insane Theory Time With Alder. I hope there will be more lmao

As of today, the 15th of February 2024, I have been running Vesperione for five years, and it is finally time for me to reintroduce myself to the fandom because I get told time and time again in a “big name” here still??! Anyway I am aware I'm perceived at face value so here we go:
VOTED BIGGEST WIGGLY FAN, BIGGEST HEY MELISSA! FAN, BIGGEST PAUL CATMEWS ADVOCATE AND MOST ACTIVE FAN IN THE 2024 STARCANWRECKEDPULP AWARDS: WELCOME TO TEAM VESPERIONE
Hi, hey, hello, and welcome to my resume. I'm Jay, I'm 18 and I have been in charge of Team Vesperione for half a decade. despite my blunt sometimes borderline bitchy attitude, I am GENUINELY very grateful for the people I’ve met within this fandom and the welcoming community. Like. I love most of you 🫶. I started this account when I was in Year Nine and I am now a university drop out (don't ask me on that). what the actual freak. I also started this account with the username of robertstanion which, luckily, I changed to vesperione (vuh-spare-ee-own) April 2021 before he outed himself as a sexual harasser which was a lucky escape on my behalf, and now I'm a multifandom menace!
Other fandoms I tend to post about most often are Cooking Companions/Dread Weight, Criminal Case (the 2012 facebook game actually), Miraculous Ladybug (it's 2024, cringe does not exist) and Julie And The Phantoms. Following me for Hatchetfield content also means following me for those fandom posts reblogged as well.
I am your worst nightmare when it comes to Hatchetfield Trivia. My (personal) Hatchetfield Timeline goes as such:
Jan 7th 2019: I watched TGWDLM for the first time , April 1st 2019: I watched the Starkid10 announcement, and watched as Black Friday got announced before my very eyes. October 11th 2019: I watched Nick Lang announce NPMD on the IT'S ALIVEstream, November 6th 2019: I watched the Black Friday digiticket (which really changed the perspective of my life, if I'm being honest) and from that point forward, I watched every Hatchetfield project debut in real time.
Because of the above timeline, I am a walking, talking Hatchetfield dictionary and there are some specific tags I use to navigate my way around starkid tumblr being:
consjderthecoconut:;- generic Hatchetfield posts
whatsshakjnbanana:- my Black Friday posts
aljteralmonster:- my NPMD posts
MEOW:- hey melissa tag. look at my pfp and guess my fave nmt story (it's abstinence camp actually)
kickstarter perks:- my workin boys tag
lcverlosses:- my lautski tag
track 14 on fift:- this was originally named the "angel emoji" tag but I changed it. This tag I use when I am Bluntly Correct People On Lore when it comes down to stupid takes for those who can't be bothered to do a Google. (for those curious, Track 14 on Faith In The Future (which is Louis Tomlinson’s second album) is Angels Fly)
Team Vesperione as a collective regards my entire social media presence including my instagram, tumblr, ao3 and tiktok. All socmeds are under the same name as this blog, aside from my cosplay tiktok, which is still a part of Team Vesperione, despite not having the same name. All of my vesperione accounts have (officially) been running for five years now, including my ao3 profile, which is exactly one day older than my insta and tumblr.
For whatever reason, if you want some fun little trivia facts about me, here you go:
As an ex digital media production student, for my final project, I made a Beginners Guide To Hatchetfield Podcast called Hatchetfield Action News so if anyone is Dan Reynolds, it's me. You can find that link here: https://linktr.ee/dothncx.
I’m the person who willed the “Paul is Richie’s uncle” headcanon into existence. The origin was This Aint For The Best chapter,, nine. So youre welcome!
The name Vesperione came from Vesperia + Viperion from Miraculous Ladybug. I chose this name when I became a multifandom blog
My favourite Hatchetfield musical is NPMD but my fave starkid musical overall is VHSCCS
My fave Hatchetfield character of all time is Wiggly. He makes me genuinely feral.
My overall ranking of the HF series goes NPMD, Workin Boys! (proud backer 2019 baby!), Abstinence Camp, TGWDLM, Hey Melissa!, Honey Queen, Yellow Jacket, Killer Track, Watcher World, Time Bastard, Forever And Always, Hatchetfield Ape Man, Black Friday, Jane's A Car, Witch In The Web, Daddy, Perky's Buds.
I have absolutely no intentions of leaving this blog any time soon you'd better prepare to be Sick of me and my angel emoji tag because i am going nowhere.
And if you need more info abt me, check my pinned xoxo

Heyy, do you have like any sort of guide for people (like me) who is starting to stan Ghost? Thank you <3
First of all, welcome welcome! You surely are in for a ride! Sadly the only guide I have made is of the era 4 ghouls that's pinned on my blog page BUT I guess I could do a quick little Beginner's Guide to Ghost. I don't know how much you've already researched so I'll treat this as an absolute beginner's guide. Also I'm writing this on the app so beat me in the town square for the formatting.
This is Ghost
Tumblr media
Well actually that's a Swedish dude named Tobias Forge BUT he runs this whole band...project? thingy? Makes the songs, plays instruments on the albums et cetera et cetera. He also has a lovely wife and kids so keep your horny at bay, my wrist slapping hand is ready to strike. Oh yeah and he's the one playing all the papas (the skull daddies who do the singing) except Papa Nihil. Speaking of...
Papas???

THESE are the skull daddies I spoke of earlier, known as Papa Emeritus I, II, III and IV. Every album has given us a new papa... kind of. When Prequelle (4th album) came out we got a dude who looked like a rat and was named Cardinal Copia, also known as just Copia or Cardi C. However, during the last day of the tour A Pale Tour Named Death (APTND) Copia got turned into a Papa Emeritus because he had done such a good job! And now he's also called Popia for shits and giggles. Oh also they fucking murked papas I-III to show them off in glass cases for the VIP ticket holders because I guess that's what one does when touring America. But guess what else you need on tour?
GHOULS!
Tumblr media
These are the Nameless Ghouls! They don't have official names but the fans have given them nicknames to tell them easier apart. They do the playing and backup vocals on tours. They do not play on the albums. They're paid to play their instruments on tours. They get new fits every tour. The rule of ghoul outfit is 1. Mask that you can't easily see out of and 2. If you don't feel like you are in hell when you're playing outside on a festival in +30°C heat (that's fucking hot Fahrenheits) or look like the KKK (disclaimer: they're not the KKK I swear they just made some questionable choices in festival gear back in the days long ago you can lower your pitchforks) on first glance it's not a ghoul outfit.
Now you might have yelpped out loud "Oh my lord Jesus Christ there's a lot of them!" or some variation of that and you don't know just how right you are! Ghost has had a looooooooooooot of ghouls during the years. Some have stayed a short while, some longer. There was a big drama some years ago when some of the then current ghouls went "this is bs Tobias is keeping all the money to himself" and Tobias said "no that's incorrect" and the ghouls left and there was a lawsuit that Tobias won. After that we got our current lineup of ghouls minus one ghoulette that joined this year. I mean a couple of the current ghouls played in the 3rd era lineup as well. ANYWAY the tl;dr of ghoul history is there have been many, there was a bit of a shit storm, but we good now.
I think that's the basics. Go watch the Chapter videos on Ghost's YT for silly lore and you'll meet Sister Imperator and Papa Nihil as well!

Where's All This Lore From, Anyway?
Tumblr media
Do I kin Fumi? Maybe.
I've blogged about a fair bit of Assault Lily lore by now, and plan to blog about more, and it wouldn't hurt to explain where all this information actually comes from.
For some settings this would be straightforward, but for AL it isn't. You'll see why in a moment.
The Stories
The most obvious sources of Assault Lily lore are the stories themselves.
That is to say:
The anime, Assault Lily Bouquet (Fruits is incredibly silly and should probably be considered non-canon. Except for the episode where Riri and Yuyu hold a wedding ceremony. That one is canon.)
The gacha game, Assault Lily Last Bullet, which contains a bunch of visual novel-style stories. These stories are direct sequels to Assault Lily Bouquet.
Tumblr media
Happy birthday, Kazuha.
The stage plays. As of this writing, there are 11 plays, along with several more of questionable canonicity (theatrical games of Werewolf that feature AL characters and such.)
The manga. There are two of these: League of Gardens -full bloom- is an adaptation of the League of Gardens stage play, and Secret Garden is a series of fluffy one-shots, some of which are explicitly non-canon.
The novels. There are four of these so far.
Now, the fun part is that these stories quite often contradict each other. Team Hitotsuyanagi, for example, comes into being in a different way in every story that shows it happening: you can see this for yourself just by watching Assault Lily Bouquet and then reading the translated portion of the Full Bloom manga. (Full Bloom has some major differences from the stage play it's based on, too.)
Contradictory events aside, the details of the setting sometimes change as well. For example, in the oldest stories Lilies couldn't take part in the Neunwelt Tactic unless they had awakened their Rare Skill, but this is no longer true.
Fans used to deal with this by interpreting each of the various stories as taking place in their own parallel universe, but then the stories started more directly referencing each other, making this difficult to do. It's a thorny and unresolved problem to this day, not helped by the lack of official statements on the matter.
Other Books
There are some Assault Lily books written in the style of guides, rather than stories.
The oldest of them, Assault Lily Setting Materials, was only ever published in print and I don't have access to it. It was reprinted recently but sold out within hours before I could order it.
There were a series of articles about AL posted on the website Dengeki Hobby Web in 2020-2021. Some of these were later also printed as a book, Mashima Moyu's Arsenal Workshop.
Another book, Assault Lily Setting Materials: Special Feature on Radgrid, was published digitally. This book contains a few pages about every member of Team Hitotsuyanagi and is our main source of information on their families.
Tumblr media
There are a few others, but these are the most important.
The Doll Pamphlets
"Kaede is a well-rounded and rational person whose only shortcoming is her obsession with cute girls." — Kaede's doll pamphlet
Most of the dolls come with info sheets. Although only one page long, front and back, these are absolutely packed with lore.
Tumblr media
There's a little problem: in what is kind of an ongoing theme for Assault Lily, a lot of the info on them wildly contradicts everything written and shown elsewhere.
Tazusa's pamphlet, for example, claims that she was born in Tokyo (newer sources say she was born in Shizuoka,) that her mother is dead (newer sources say her mother's identity and whereabouts are unknown,) that Takamatsu Shiera negotiated with GEHENA to have her released (newer sources say Legion Rossweisse broke her out of a GEHENA lab,) and strongly implies that she has a crush on Yuyu (there are close to zero signs of this being the case anywhere else.)
The Special Feature on Radgrid repeats a lot of the character info found here, and I think that book probably exists in order to clean the lore up and make it cohere to the newer stories. Some CHARM and miscellaneous setting information is still only found in the doll pamphlets though, as well as much of what we know about some characters who aren't part of Team Hitotsuyanagi.
Lily's Time
The Assault Lily YouTube channel hosts occasional "Lily's Time" streams every month or two on average. The main host is Akao Hikaru, Riri's voice actress, along with various guests. Obanazawa Kenei, the original creator of Assault Lily, is often a guest. Each stream has a topic, sometimes one or two of the characters, sometimes one of the Gardens, and sometimes entirely different subjects like the IRL Assault Lily live concerts.
These streams have a tendency to just repeat info that's already been mentioned elsewhere, but they've told us new stuff, like that only Lilies are capable of seeing magie, from time to time. They've also "canonized" some dubious info from the doll pamphlets.
Fumi's Twitter Account
Last but definitely not least, we come to the most unique source of Assault Lily lore: Futagawa Fumi's Twitter account. (Sorry Elon, I refuse to call the website "X".)
Fumi has been tweeting since February 2013, seven months before the first-ever Assault Lily product (the original 1/12 scale Yuyu doll) was released. She's made nearly 16,000 tweets over the course of the decade since. Many of those tweets are to advertise AL goods and things like events in the gacha game, but on certain days, Fumi will log on around midnight Japan time and invite her followers to tweet questions about Assault Lily with a hashtag that translates to "Please tell me, Fumi-chan!"
She'll then answer those questions as she sees fit. Occasionally, she also launches into explanations of AL lore on her own initiative, such as when she told us about the top seven legions at Herensuge Girls' Academy.
Tumblr media
An early tweet by Fumi. The Google translation is reasonably close to the mark.
And there you have it. Compared to a lot of settings, Assault Lily's lore is kind of a mess, but personally, I find it fun to piece together.
I don't cite sources for info I write about because it would make my posts twice as long and twice as difficult to write, but you can find most of the same stuff on the Assault Lily Wiki, which does have citations.
If you're curious about the provenance of anything specific, feel free to send me an ask about it.

One Piece: Episode 48 and Chapter 97
Bit later than I'd hoped for my first episode of the week, but let's get back to the cruise!
Tumblr media
Oo! New OP! Guess that makes sense since we're officially out of the East Blue!
Really high energy, but not making much of an impression yet. I'm tempted to go through and look at some of these individual frames, but I'm pretty sure they're aimed at manga readers.
Tumblr media
Of course Sanji cares more about all the women then actually getting ingredients.
Tumblr media
Oh and even more of course! Of course Sanji is the first Straw Hat to set eyes on the new femme fatale. Here we go . . .
Tumblr media
Would this face lie to you, Usopp?
Tumblr media
Ah! We have our teased villain! Those two cigars were in both Netflix and the end of the East Blue arc. Named Marines have been about 50/50 for actually being someone to care about. Let's see what this guy can do.
Tumblr media
Is that a weapon I spy?
Tumblr media
Yep~ Nicely done little tease there. Looks like a big jitte. This guy seems to want a challenge. But Smoker at least seems to not be a complete jerk. Let's see if that carries through.
Tumblr media
Oh! Looks like we're going to get to see him perform on a villain of the week before we get our fight with the Straw Hats!
Tumblr media
Interesting! I get the impression he realized exactly who Luffy was. But he decided to guide him to the execution platform anyway. Also he seems to have some way to control the smoke. Don't know if it's Devil Fruit like suggested or something like what Kuro could do. I know there's another power system in this anime, but I don't know much about it yet.
Tumblr media
And here she is! She's one of the last characters I met in the manga before starting this.
I didn't mention it in the big post, but I was pretty sure Kuina's death was BS. If you don't actually see a body you can't confirm a character is dead in most anime, especially Shonen. And death via backstory? Yeah, no chance.
Zoro seems to be getting that vibe too, but only for just a moment. I'm curious what's going on here.
Tumblr media
Looks like we're going to get some lore, or at least legend, around the King of the Pirates. Just what Luffy needs to hear XD
Tumblr media
You know, so many people see the spirit of the Pirate King in Luffy, it makes me wonder if they're doing some kind of reincarnation thing. Luffy's not old enough to do the whole "born at the exact moment." But if the One Piece afterlife has some kind of trial for reincarnation, he might be just the right age.
Of course, it could just be Oda using a shorthand for the right kind of adventurous spirit to be this level of hero.
Tumblr media
Then again . . .
Tumblr media
Nice tease! I like how they're building Smoker up!
Tumblr media
This scene had me running back to Netflix. Although I didn't catch Smoker in the crowd, they sure were teasing plenty other people. Can't wait to meet them all!
Now, let's do some reading!
Tumblr media
We begin with this auspicious looking chapter page! Look at how shocked and terrified Koby is!
So the events of Lougetown are the same in both, but the order is different. I'll be entering the next episode knowing about Kitetsu. However not everything has been the same, so things might play out differently. For example, in the anime Zoro broke the girls glasses when he met her. Here she's helping him pick his new swords. Additionally, Smoker met Luffy before he found the execution platform.
I'm wondering why they broke the glasses like that. She knows about Zoro in the manga, maybe they're planning on her recognizing him too? Either way, tip toeing around these difference might be a little tricky. I really might need to see if there's a list of a good order to watch the anime and read the manga together.

Note
So I just started Genshin Impact cause of your blog. I'm a bit confused by some of the lore. Wanna lore dump about Genshin???
ok im going to extensively spoiler-mark this so do NOT go past parts you haven't played through yet. the lore of genshin is arranged so that most of it you learn slowly through story quests. if you want to experience it as intended, don't read past quests you haven't played through yet! Also i genuinely tried to keep this as brief and barebones as physically possible but the google doc i wrote it in is seven pages long. So. brace yourself.
NOTE. for the purposes of this explanation, the sibling you choose in the opening cutscene will be referred to as "playable sibling/PS" and the sibling who disappears as a result of that choice as "abyss sibling/AS." keep this in mind
SO. opening of the game. playable and abyss are introduced to us as twin travelers who came from "beyond the stars," meaning they did not originate from teyvat (the world which genshin takes place in). they somehow enter teyvat, and as they are about to leave and move on to the "next world" (whatever that may mean) they are stopped by an unknown figure that calls themself "the sustainer of heavenly principles." (for simplicity, heavenly principles/HP) this figure blocks their exit from teyvat, captures AS and sends PS crashing down to earth. In the next scene we see, PS tells paimon (who they have supposedly recently fished out of a lake???) that HP cast them down to the surface of teyvat and they haven't seen their sibling since. their ultimate goal as stated at this point is to find their sibling and leave teyvat together.
PS begins their journey through teyvat in mondstadt. Paimon explains to them that teyvat is made up of seven nations, each with a different god, called an archon, governing the nation. Each god has a specific guiding principle and an element associated with them, for a total of 7 elements and archons for 7 nations. (these 7 elements also make up the combat system of the game, which i will not go into bc i dont hate myself.) there are also people in these nations who have been granted “visions” by the archons, which are physical objects that allow them to control a specific element. For whatever reason, PS discovers that by “resonating” with the different statues of mondstadt’s archons in the different nations, they can also control these elements despite not having a vision.
Anyways,  Mondstadt's archon is called barbatos, and his element is anemo (wind.) the governing principle of barbatos, and by extension mondstadt, is freedom. Paimon suggests that PS should attempt to find barbatos, and eventually the gods of the other 6 nations, because they believe the HP to be a god and therefore think that other gods will likely have information on them.
SPOILERS: MONDSTADT ARCHON QUEST
PS and paimon travel to mondstadt. I’m actually going to skip a lot of the mondstadt story quest because it’s long as hell and most of it doesn’t have any impact on the larger lore, but I will go over the key points you need to know. PS and paimon meet the governing party of the nation: the knights of favonius. The current leader of the knights is acting grandmaster Jeanvgunnhildr, but she is only ACTING grandmaster. The official grandmaster, Varka, left shortly before PS came to mondstadt and took almost half of the knights with him, on an expedition which has yet to be explained in-game. For whatever reason, though, mondstadt's government is currently operating at essentially half capacity. PS meets several other knights besides jean, including cavalry captain Kaeya, who i mention here because he will be relevant later. they also learn that mondstadt is dealing with multiple diplomatic/military crises at once. there have been a series of attacks by the "east wind" dragon stormterror (true name dvalin.) At the same time, the knights and church of favonius are enduring diplomatic pressure from a group of people from the nation sznezhnaya, which is a far-northern nation governed by the archon of cryo (ice.) they are attempting to use the stormterror crisis to seize power from the knights, and generally making life very difficult for poor jean. on top of this, the archon barbatos has not been seen for several hundred years, which isn't uncommon for him, but is not exactly helping with all the shit mondstadt is going through right now.
PS defeats dvalin once (with the help of barbatos, unbeknownst to them at the time), earning them the title “honorary knight of favonius.” They meet barbatos, who has taken on the form of a young bard named venti so that he can get drunk and ignore the glaring problems with his nation. Venti explains to PS that dvalin is actually a good wind spirit, but he has been corrupted by an organized force of inhuman monsters known as the "abyss order," who were hoping to turn him into a weapon for their own purposes. Venti has a plan to save both mondstadt and dvalin, requiring PS to do a bunch of dungeons and steal an ancient artifact, the holy lyre, from the church of favonius, briefly turning them into a wanted criminal in mondstadt. (this will be a recurring motif throughout this story.) Venti, PS, and a few of the other mondstadt playable characters use the holy lyre to summon dvalin, hoping to purify him, but the abyss order interferes and drives dvalin away. The party switches to plan B and goes directly to stormterror’s lair to confront, battle, and purify him directly. They succeed. When they get back to mondstadt, kaeya lets them know that he has learned that the abyss order is unified under one leader. The end of the quest reveals to the player (but not PS) that that leader is PS’s missing sibling, AS, hence why i called them “abyss sibling.”
In the final moments of the quest, venti and PS return the lyre to mondstadt’s cathedral. On their way out, fatui agents ambush and restrain them. Here, we meet one of the eleven fatui harbingers, La Signora. She is one of the highest authorities of the fatui, just under the cryo archon. She physically rips venti’s “gnosis” out of him--a chess piece-shaped relic that is essentially the “heart” of an archon, (in the japanese dub it’s literally called a ‘god’s heart.’ why they called it a gnosis in english i have no idea.) and then knocks out PS and flees the scene, giving no indication of why she wanted the gnosis at all. This is the end of the mondstadt archon quest.
SPOILERS: LIYUE ARCHON QUEST
Onto liyue. Jesus christ. Im going to make this as brief as possible but this game’s plot is insanely complicated. Liyue is the geo (rock) nation, with the governing principle “contracts.” it’s governed half by humans and half by adepti, which are liyue’s minor gods. The huamn leader of liyue is named ningguang, and her crowning achievement is a floating castle called the jade chamber, which is supposedly representative of the achievement of liyue’s human government. The main internal conflict in liyue is between the governing forces of the adepti and humans.
So PS and paimon are going into liyue to try and get into contact with the geo archon rex lapis when he comes down to the surface of teyvat for a yearly ceremony. (if they miss it they’ll have to wait another year to see him.)
They get to liyue harbor, the main city in liyue, and witness the ceremony, but halfway through chaos ensues as rex lapis is shot and killed before the eyes of everyone watching the ceremony. Because PS isn’t from liyue, they’re suspected of being the killer and immediately become an outlaw in liyue. They are rescued from the guards trying to capture them by Childe, the second fatui harbinger we have the pleasure of meeting in this game. Childe’s defining character trait is that he is literally insane. Childe introduces PS to a funeral director named Zhongli, who is in charge of funeral arrangements for rex lapis. They help him out for a while, and then return to liyue harbor to find it in chaos. The human government and the adepti have finally had a direct confrontation, and childe has used the chaos to slip away and attempt to steal rex lapis’s gnosis from his corpse. PS and paimon follow him and battle him, only for both PS and childe to discover that the gnosis is not in the corpse of rex lapis. PS defeats childe, who then switches to plan B and revives an ancient god, osail, to destroy liyue entirely. The humans and adepti are forced to work together to fight osail, and ningguang eventually sacrifices the jade chamber to save liyue harbor, prompting the adepti to acknowledge her as a worthy leader of liyue. The adepti agree to retreat and allow the humans to self-govern from now on without divine interference.
Zhongli reveals himself to be rex lapis, which is why the gnosis wasn’t in the (fake) corpse childe tried to steal it from.he faked his death as a test to see if liyue could survive without him, and, satisfied with the outcome, he decides to retire as a god entirely and live as zhongli from now on. Everything PS fought for was bullshit anyway, though, because zhongli made a CONTRACT with the cryo archon and signed his goddamn gnosis away anyway. PS is still no closer to finding their sibling, who zhongli admits he knows about but is under contract not to say anything. I fucking hate contracts.
SPOILERS: WE WILL BE REUNITED/KAEYA STORY SEGMENTS
We will be reunited. The only quest in this entire goddamn game that has ever actually felt like payoff. In this quest we meet dainsleif, a strange man with ties to the abyss. He reveals to us that 500 years ago, teyvat suffered a horrible calamity after the destruction of a nation called khaenriah. Khaenriah, as explained by dain, was a nation which existed without the governance of an archon and flourished, making incredibly advanced technological discoveries. It was destroyed by the gods 500 years ago. The ruin machines that populate teyvat were supposedly built by khaenrians. PS begins to regain vague memories about khaenriah, but nothing concrete.  PS discovers an archon statue underground in liyue which has been chained up upside down, and dain explains that the abyss order are planning to use the inverted statue to make a weapon, but in order to power it they need the eye of the first ruin guard created by khaenrians, which currently resides in stormterror’s lair in mondstadt. (up until this quest activates, the ruin guard sits motionless in stormterror’s lair and can be interacted with, where the interact box refers to it as a “strange statue.” after this quest, it’s referred to as “the first field tiller” (field tiller being a term used by khaenrians to refer to the ruin guards.) they find the ruin guard and dainsleif takes its eye. PS and dain then return to the inverted statue, intending to destroy it, but are interrupted by a high-ranking member of the abyss order, an abyss herald, which battles PS until AS appears to stop the battle.
AS seems more surprised to see PS and dain together than anything else. AS reveals that dain was a member of khaenriah’s royal guard, and was cursed with immortality and forced to watch his people turn into monsters after it fell. PS begs AS to come with them, so they can go home together, but AS says they can’t because unless they fulfil their goal with the abyss order, their “war on destiny will not end.” AS says that they have already traveled teyvat, and that once PS finishes their journey they will understand AS’s actions. AS leaves through an abyss portal, and dain follows them. PS is left alone in the underground ruins with more questions than answers.
TLDR for what we know so far: 500 years ago, khaenriah was destroyed by the gods for some reason. (Dain implies that it was because the gods feared a human nation with no god to govern them, but some dialog from playable archons suggests this may not be entirely accurate.) The inhabitants of khaenriah were cursed to become monsters, and dain was cursed with immortality. Kaeya, the cavalry captain of the knights of favonius, is khaenrian and somehow either escaped this curse or managed to retain human form despite it, making him one of the sole survivors of khaenriah and suggesting that there may be more to the story than we already know. (that’s speculation so i won’t get too into it, but the kaeya thing is too important to exclude imo). PS and AS were both in khaenriah at some point prior to this catastrophe, but only AS remembers exactly what happened. AS has aligned themself with the abyss order after traveling teyvat fully themself, and are now working with the abyss to try to revive khaenriah. Meanwhile, the fatui and the cryo archon are collecting gnoses from other archons for some purpose that has yet to be revealed to us.
SPOILERS: INAZUMA ARCHON QUEST
Now we move to inazuma. Here, we are going to basically ignore the abyss order entirely bc they aren’t relevant and focus back in on the fatui. Rather than recount the whole archon quest from PS’s perspective i’m just going to tell you everything in chronological order this time bc it’s SO long and confusing otherwise. Fair warning i did not like this quest
Inazuma’s archon is named Ei. her governing principle is “eternity” (stupid ass principle) and her element is electro (electricity). Ei was not the original electro archon, however. The first electro archon was ei’s sister, makoto. Makoto was killed during the khaenriah cataclysm, and ei took on her role in her place.
Ei sucks at being an archon. She becomes obsessed with the idea of an unchanging eternal nation, and decided to remove herself from the equation entirely. To do this, she created a sentient puppet look-alike to rule in her place. There were two of these puppets, one of which ei threw out after she saw it cry, deciding it would be too soft to endure the pressures of ruling a nation. (we will come back to this puppet in sumeru. Dont worry.) the other puppet was her success story. The puppet, known as the raiden shogun, ruled inazuma militantly and with a complete lack of emotion, using only the guiding principles ei had instilled in her. Because of this, and because ei never bothered to check in or do any maintenance on the damn thing, the puppet became incredibly susceptible to manipulation by, you guessed it, the fucking fatui. The fatui talked the shogun into enstating a total ban on travel in and out of inazuma, as well as the “vision hunt decree” which meant that the inazuman government began seizing people’s visions.
Enter PS. they are pissed off and tired at this point. They just want to meet the goddamn archon and get out, but they, of course, end up starting a revolution in inazuma (that somehow has no actual lasting consequences btw. Help me.) Eventually they figure out that this whole thing was an elaborate plot by the fatui to destabilize inazuma, and that the raiden shogun is a puppet and not the actual archon. In order to get to the actual archon and force her to fix shit, they talk to yae miko, ei’s “oldest friend” (read: wife.) Miko tells them how to get into ei’s mind palace and snap her out of it. PS does this. Ei, after several real-life hours of bullshit dialog, agrees that she fucked up and shuts down the shogun and promises to fix everything.
Ei also does not know anything about PS’s sibling or the abyss order, and woah would you look at that!! MIKO FUCKING GAVE AWAY THE GNOSIS TO THE FATUI WITHOUT EVEN A GODDAMN DEAL. THANKS SO MUCH GUYS. WE ARE ZERO PERCENT CLOSER TO ANY ANSWERS WHATSOEVER.
God. at least that one was short.
SPOILERS: SUMERU ARCHON QUEST
Sumeru. Christ almighty. Im skipping the chasm because it doesn’t fucking matter. So we get to sumeru right. Sumeru has a bunch of really weird and vaguely racist lore that i will be skipping because it doesnt matter but. prepare yourself.
Sumeru’s archon is the dendro (plant) archon, and her governing principle is “wisdom.” HOWEVER, there are a bunch of weird godly politics going on here that are unfortunately integral to our understanding of the story. So basically, there used to be 2 gods in Sumeru: the dendro archon/the greater lord, and the scarlet king. The scarlet king was the ruler of the desert and the greater lord ruled the rainforest, but the scarlet king was killed, leaving only the greater lord to govern all of sumeru. The scarlet king’s people were largely not happy about this.
Fast forward to the khaenriah cataclysm. The greater lord is killed, but in her dying moments a new dendro archon is born: the lesser lord kusanali. Immediately, the lesser lord is swept away by the akademiya, which is the human governing power of sumeru. The akademiya resented the lesser lord and refused to acknowledge her as the new archon, instead keeping her sealed away and relying on what was left of the greater lord’s power instead. The akademiya slowly became corrupt as time went on and they didn’t have an archon to keep them in check.
Fast forward again to present day. PS comes to sumeru, immediately passes out and connects accidentally to the consciousnes of the greater lord. During this dream sequence, they hear the words “world… forget me” and see an image of a giant tree. They proceed to ignore this vision for the next quarter of the quest.
They get to sumeru city only to discover that the entire city is seemingly stuck in a time loop of the same day over and over again. with the help of lesser lord kusanali, who calls herself nahida and projects herself into the consciousnesses of others in order to communicate with them, PS discovers that the entire city is actually trapped in a dream, which the akademiya is using to harvest knowledge from the city in order to carry out their ultimate plan: creating a new god to replace lesser lord kusanali as the governing archon of sumeru.
They break out of the dream, but nahida is trapped by the akademiya and imprisoned in a deep sleep again. PS discovers that the akademiya has been working with yet another fatui harbinger: the doctor/il dottore, to carry out their plan. They plan to use the gnosis the fatui stole from inazuma to create their new god, and as for the being they plan to use to house it? They’re going to use Ei’s discarded prototype puppet, also known as the fatui harbinger scaramouche.
After being abandoned by ei, his mother, scaramouche became a directionless wanderer in inazuma. With no gnosis, he was essentially a being without a heart, always lacking something. He was hardened by several tragedies until he eventually rejected his past and decided the only way out was to fulfill his original purpose and become a god, with or without ei’s approval. He turned to the fatui to help him fulfil this wish, and sumeru’s akademiya, desperate for a new god to replace kusanali, were all too happy to help the fatui out. Il dottore and the akademiya supplied him with a gnosis and a godly body, and they nearly complete the process entirely, but they are thwarted by PS and nahida just before scaramouche loses his past self entirely and attains godhood. Nahida takes the gnosis from scaramouche.
After this battle, nahida and PS enter what remains of the consciousness of the greater lord one final time, hoping to understand the circumstances surrounding her death and nahida’s birth. They speak to the remains of the greater lord, who reveals that as the god of wisdom, her consciousness is connected to irminsul, the tree of life and the “collective consciousness” of teyvat. When the khaenriah cataclysm occurred, the tree was poisoned by “forbidden knowledge,” the greater lord claims (what this means is your guess as well as mine) and she had to basically kill herself in order to stop this forbidden knowledge from polluting all of teyvat. In creating nahida, she hoped to give sumeru a new archon to look to when she was gone, but because her memory, tainted by forbidden knowledge, still remained in the collective consciousness of teyvat, nahida could never be accepted as sumeru’s true archon. This was the meaning of the words “world, forget me” that PS hears early on in the quest: the greater lord wanted the world to forget her so that the tree of knowledge would no longer be poisoned by her tainted memory.
With this revelation, the greater lord disappears completely, removing all memory of herself from teyvat’s collective consciousness. Even nahida no longer remembers the greater lord’s existence. PS, however, still remembers the greater lord, supposedly because they aren’t from teyvat and therefore their memories aren’t governed by what is and isn’t inscribed in the tree of knowledge.
After all this, il dottore appears and knocks out PS and paimon so he can speak with nahida privately. Nahida offers to give him the electro gnosis in exchange for him killing the clones of himself he’s made (she reveals that she knows he has made hundreds of clones of himself. He immediately agrees to kill them in exchange for the gnosis, though, so this doesn’t really matter.) during this exchange, she also suggests that destroying the gnosis would “awaken the heavenly principles,” the first mention of HP in game since the opening cutscene. She does not elaborate about what HP is. as for HER gnosis, dottore offers her a bit of knowledge in exchange for it. The player doesn’t get to hear the knowledge itself, only dottore’s pitch: “Have you heard of the rumor that the sky in teyvat is fake?” (note: it should be mentioned that back in the 1.0 patch series there was a limited-time event in which scaramouche was briefly introduced for the first time, and this event also very briefly mentioned that teyvat’s sky might be fake. There are also a ton of references to stars controlling one’s fate in teyvat, and celestia, the realm of the gods, exists in the sky. anyways.) nahida gives away her gnosis in exchange for this information.
When PS wakes up, nahida becomes the first archon in the history of this game to give you useful information that you don’t already fucking have. She tells PS that because of her connection to the tree of knowledge, she has been able to learn a bit about them and their sibling.
PS is what is called a “descender,” meaning someone who came to teyvat from beyond the stars and did not originate there. They are not the first descender to teyvat, in fact there have been four others throughout history. The first of these descenders is the heavenly principles. AS is NOT a descender.
Descenders are known as such because, since they are not from teyvat, no information about them is recorded in the tree of knowledge. PS is not recorded in the tree, but AS is. AS’s record begins when they showed up in khaenriah, and parts of it are “fuzzy” as though they have been scrubbed out. From this, Nahida draws the conclusion that AS is from teyvat and PS isn’t, which PS is convinced is impossible because they traveled with their sibling together for years before coming to teyvat, so they’re sure AS didn’t originate there.
This is essentially where we are left as of the current patch. There’s a ton of branch-off lore and little connecting pieces i could go into but i typed this in a google doc and it was literally seven pages long and this is BARE BONES i swear there was nothing in here that i could leave out. So. i am not going to bother trying to get any more specific unless someone asks me to because jesus christ. Anyways thats the genshin story as succinctly as i could possibly put it thank you for coming to my ted talk

Higher Beings, Species, and Rank
I’ve been trying to pull information together for various other theories. But some information is coming together in my brain.
And my goodness, excuse me, as I can never make anything simple. I merely wanted to talk about the creature hanging in Beast’s Den again. But it will take a while to get there. In fact yeah this is mostly not about that, as you may see from the title XD;;;; But I’ll be getting there eventually anyway, and hopefully it will make sense.
Karina, a moth spirit in the Glade:
Are you admiring my fabulous markings? I'm of a distinguished species you see, though I've not seen another like me for the longest time.
You don't seem to bear the markings of rank, though you bear no markings of a lower form.
What are you? Do tell me. Are you a higher being or just another lowly grub?
Tumblr media
[a picture of Karina, a moth that is very short with unusual wings]
I’ve been thinking about the place of higher beings. Karina’s words are quite odd. They speak of their markings...maybe their wings? But then, speaking of “markings of rank” that they find Ghost to lack, they ask if they are a “lowly grub” or “higher being”.
That’s quite strange to me. That’s a huge jump between grub and higher being! Isn’t it?
They relate markings of rank to their own species, it seems. Do they wonder about Ghost, not being able to identify their species? Do they identify “higher beings” from species?
I’ve been wondering for a while exactly what makes one a higher being, and if that’s different than a “god”. Wyrms seem to have been a species. The Pale King is one of those, and is worshiped as a god. It’s possible those things don’t always go together.
In a developer note titled “God”:
perhaps in special instance? though usually the god-like creatures are higher beings.
These notes seem to have been to guide the developers as they went through. Reminders to and amongst themselves I suppose. Here, they are deciding to mostly avoid the term in favor of using “higher being”, described as “god-like”. The notes aren’t canon, but it does make me think.
I also must assume these notes were before the Godmaster content was developed XD Definitely high usage of “god” there. But even then, the word is used a bit oddly since many bosses are called gods, many of them fairly mundane even if more powerful than the average bug.
I’ve seen people speculate on what a “higher being” is due to all the lore tablets. Many speaking in a way that would be confusing if you were talking to gods, seemingly meant for more average people.
This is a bit beyond what I’m thinking about today though. Just...as far as I can see, this distinction between an average bug and “higher being” and “god”...does not seem as concrete as one might expect.
Mask Maker, once Ghost gets King’s Brand:
I see another takes mantle of king? Then grim responsibility that shall bestow.
No bug has ever laid claim to this whole. Even the beasts knew their limits and bound their realm at Nest's edge.
It is the ancient caste that made attempt at such vast rule. Hallownest's ruin reflects well those fared attempts.
“Ancient caste”. I’ve seen people speak as if this refers to the ancient civilization. It very well might. But I had to wonder about various possibilities.
“Ancient civilization” is not an official name. The word “ancient” in fact is used many times throughout the game. Most instances are by modern bugs speaking of old Hallownest. I had to wonder if ancient caste could refer to the Pale King and White Lady. Especially if you contrast them with “bug” and “beast”, mentioned previously. They are neither, though the Pale King took a form similar to a bug. They are also, seemingly, quite old.
And with Karina’s words, well. “Caste” is a category. Something having to do with one’s place in society, something you’re born into . Mask Maker brings this up upon seeing Ghost with King’s Brand, something to mark them as King, the top rank of a society.
In fact “caste” is a word used in biology relating to insects:
a subset of individuals within a colony (society) of social animals that is specialized in the function it performs and distinguished by anatomical or morphological differences from other subsets.
The structure of society, between the average bug and monarchs, is something brought up various times in the game. This is, again, getting a bit too into it for my purposes right now.
(someone help me oh gosh I can never stay on one topic or keep things short aaaa)
For some reason Mask Maker uses “ancient” together with a word that has to do with societal place. Are those at the top of society always ancient or long-lived? I dunno. It’s true of some real bugs like termite queens (can live 50+ years). Those like the Pale King, White Lady, the Radiance, Unn...presumably all quite old. And also higher beings. Something that Karina seems to suggest is a rank.
The ancient civilization...those examples of ancient creatures we can see are also all large. Some just slightly larger, like the Shade Beast, and some humongous, like the one housing the Colosseum of Fools. Did they count as higher beings? I have to wonder, especially if such a thing can be applied to whole species. A term that perhaps doesn’t have to be as special as “god”.
Now, to the creature enshrined in Beast’s Den....
Tumblr media
[The thing. Hanging from the ceiling by 8 tube/arm things, fairly spiky, seemingly dead]
I have seen much speculation on the status of this large thing. Possibly as the old ruler of Deepnest. Possibly a higher being. The room it’s in is referred to as a shrine in the game files.
(July edit: Commonly, this thing is called a trilobite in the Hollow Knight community. I was trying to figure out originally in this post if there’s anything in the game files that calls it a trilobite. I to this day haven’t been able to find anything confirming why people call it a trilobite, only some assertions that there’s something official, and some saying it’s common speculation. I can only conclude now that it’s more likely just common interpretation of its looks and not supported by anything concrete calling it a trilobite)
I don’t know if it particularly looks like a trilobite, but then a lot of bugs in the game seem more like...suggestions of bugs than looking entirely like real species. I almost wonder if it’s similar to the beast that God Tamer has.
Tumblr media
[God Tamer beast]
Similar body shape. Mask shape, especially around the mouth (leaving this gap in the bottom of the mask). Being called a beast, which I’m not sure how the game defines entirely. Though from its dreamnail dialog, it does not seem particularly intelligent. This may not have any relevance, I just find the similarities interesting.
Anyway.
Written by the mushroom tribe near Deepnest:
This border bounds the twisting, scratching things.
Their dead sire, once of honoured caste.
Their sealed mother, but the common beast.
No peace with them we make.
That word again, caste. The “dead sire” of Deepnest, of honored caste. Something to contrast with Herrah, who is called a common beast. I’ve seen this before to say that she was not of royal birth, but became Queen through marriage. This is possible. I also wonder if she, regardless of how her status was acquired, may be called common to contrast with this sire being a higher being, where she is not.
I have to wonder if this trilobite thing, in a “shrine” with something resembling a spiky crown on its head, was both the old king and a higher being. It’s large, it’s still held as important for some reason, in a shrine with a seal over it. A trilobite is...not particularly like a spider, besides being an arthropod, but so are insects and crustaceans. I suppose Deepnest does have centipedes too (another type of arthropod), so perhaps it doesn’t all have to be about spiders. It does have those eight...arms(?) attached to it, like a spider might. Holding it up in a manner that suggests legs to me rather than something more lax suspending it. It’s all rather odd/mysterious.
Regardless, it makes me think of what kind of story there might be here. If Deepnest was ruled by a higher being, perhaps for a long time. If this ruler may have fought with the Pale King, politically or physically. If he may have died in the process, or died a more natural death. If Herrah may have married this being, or perhaps succeeded him after his death. Either way, she had no heir.
I have to wonder how vulnerable Deepnest was. Cut off from the rest of Hallownest. Formerly led by a powerful being, now without such protection. Herrah formidable in her own right I’m sure, but still no higher being. I’m sure she could have gotten with any number of suitors in Deepnest for children. But she made a deal with the Pale King for a child. The Pale King had status, yes. Royalty. I just have to wonder in all this if Herrah was as concerned with having a child of royal lineage as much as having a child from a higher being, someone powerful to be able to lead and protect Deepnest. Something like Deepnest might’ve had before.
I have a lot of thoughts about gods/higher beings in Hollow Knight. This doesn’t even touch on things like how they relate to soul/essence/dream/void/etc. Hoping to write out more thoughts in the future. Just a little slice here of the possibilities for today.

Weird Stuff That Happens statement of boundaries
Hello everyone. This is Sky, and I have something important to address. There's been a recent trend of independent creators setting standards for the fandom behavior they are comfortable with. While Weird Stuff That Happens doesn't have an "active Fanbase" at the time of writing, if you are interested in creating fanworks or other unofficial stuff for the series, this is a guide for how to appropriately approach the series. This post may be updated or changed as necessary.
Interactivity:
First and foremost: Make sure to read the Site FAQ for the content rules before leaving a message on WSTH.
The best ways to interact with WSTH are:
-Leave a comment on an article. You will need a Wix site login for moderation purposes, but you can comment on the site's articles. This is the most reliable way to hear from anyone other than Tom.
-Send a message over site chat. The fictional webmaster Tomtab is online at least once a day, and even if you don't hear from him immediately, it's a good idea to check back to see if he responded to you. Wix may ask for your email but you don't have to use one to use this feature.
-Email. Tom has a working email and if you message him with a question or longer comment he will reply to you.
-Tumblr. The WSTH in-charter account isn't super active, but Tom's ask box is open.
Reshare:
-Any artwork credited in universe to Tom Benedetto or Dr Susan Finch may be reused with credit as long as you are not monetizing or plagiarizing it. Feel free to make edits if you want as long as you credit back to Weird Stuff That Happens.
-Feel free to screenshot anything from correspondence with Tomtab, as long as you properly credit it back to Weird Stuff That Happens.
Social Media:
First and foremost, be respectful of all of the site's crew. Don't spam them, send inappropriate messages, or impersonate them. All of Weird Stuff That Happens social Media accounts are linked to under other websites. WSTH will not be joining Tik-Tok or Facebook at any point. If you find a WSTH account on either site that is not clearly labeled as a fan-page, notify me so they can be taken down.
Other websites:
With the exception of Davespid, the rest of the linked websites on WSTH belong to crew members and associates of the site. Be respectful on these websites and don't hound any of their webmasters.
Gamejacking:
WSTH is an elaborate role play game with a lot of pre-planning. Any deliberate attempt to derail the series plot, lore, or characters will not be tolerated.
Fanart:
Fanart is very encouraged and, as long as it's SFW, Feel free to tag the main series accounts on Tumblr and Instagram with your work.
Fanfiction:
I'm fine with written fanfiction as long as you follow the rest of the rules and don't try to pass it off as official. That being said, please do not try to send any of the crew fanfiction. I hate to be so blunt, but we just aren't going to read it.
NSFW:
This is awkward, but it needs to be addressed. The complete cast of WSTH is over 18, both the Fictional Characters and Actual Crew, but the work itself is intended for a PG-13 audience. NSFW fanworks are ok as long as you don't send it to us. We don't want to see it or hear about it. For the most part, we don't care if it's out there otherwise, but the fandom courtesy that you don't put it in the main tag is encouraged. That being said, there are exceptions to this that we all ask you to respect.
1. Pim. His performer isn't comfortable with NSFW fanworks of him being made so I will ask that you just don't. (Plus it's way OOC anyway, he's aro-ace.)
2. Keep it off the site. The site itself has a no NSFW rule to keep it closer to a general audience and anything NSFW will be taken down.
3. Don't make anything creepy or illegal. No NSFL fan stuff. No dead dove, grapefruit, extreme stuff. Keep it SSC please. None of that Pr0$hip bs, keep it away from my work.
Theories:
Speculation is deeply encouraged. The website has a lot of secrets and things unfolding. That being said, do not try to pass speculation as canon, as that gets into Gamejacking territory. Matpat types fuck off.
Fan Merchandise:
If you try to create your own WSTH merchandise I will do everything in my power to get it taken down. In general, an exception is given to specifically one-of-a-kind commission works, but otherwise, wait till I'm ready to make my own.

So. I made an introduction post. I'm officially a writeblr now.
I didn't really reveal a whole lot, though; just said my wip was a Zelda fanfic and casually mentioned I'm making a language for it.
The actual premise can wait. Right now I'm gonna talk about the language part, because it's weirdly interesting and I like it.
So, how do you make a language?
I have no clue, why are you asking me?
Actually though, I don't really know what I'm doing, but what I do know is step one: figure out sounds. Followed by step two: make up some words.
Thankfully, I decided to use the lyrics from Ballad of the Goddess as a starting point for the Hylian language, so those steps are basically done for me.
Mostly. (Buckle up if you don't know ipa notation oops)
See, here's a transcription of the lyrics in ipa:
/en daʃeʋu nobe̞ ʃʊndu/
/tje̞ ʃʊtu ke̞wɛnu sale̞/
/en daʃeʋu nobe̞ dʊʃu/
/tje̞ ʃʊtu nobe̞ dezu dotʃe̞/
I'm not sure exactly how accurate that transcription is, since according to my ventures through the interactive ipa chart, it differs a little from the vocal cover I listened to on YouTube.
Still, though, I pulled every unique sound out, organized them into consonants and vowels, and asked the conlang network discord's thoughts. Based on their feedback, I ended up with this:
consonants: n, b, k, s, z, d, t, l, ʃ, v, h,
vowels: e, o, a, u, i, ɛ
I don't really know if that's comprehensive yet, I haven't yet gone outside the confines of what's in the song. I did assign some meanings to individual words -- don't expect to get much of a translation for the song out of these, there's just not enough there. I did this loosely based off a reddit thread.
/en/ = oh
/nobe/ = no
/daʃevu/ = deceive
/kɛwɛnu/ = world
/sale/ = illuminate
/dezu/ = path
/dotʃe/ = hear
/ʃutu/ = unite
/tje/ = and
/duʃu/ = wind
/ʃundu/ = Queen/princess; daughter of the goddess; female who carries the blood of the goddess
I also decided the basic word order would be Verb, Subject, Object -- and that's as far as I've gotten as of now. Later on, I'll come up with a few more words and try to construct a somewhat detailed set of grammar rules.
I'll definitely keep this blog updated on my progress in making the Hylian language; I don't know that I'll create an entire dictionary and grammar guide, though, unless it's something people want. It's meant for use in my fic, not really as a what-would-hylian-sound-like theory piece.
Anyway, bit of a niche post, but it's what I've got right now. Might dive into some crazy theory-inspired lore in a later post.

For the WiP asks: 🤫 - A big spoiler/piece of lore out of context, 🎧 - What are the first three songs on the playlist?
A big spoiler/piece of lore out of context: The stagehands go first.
What are the first three songs on the playlist?: I haven't made an official list yet, but for as long as I've been writing this I've had in mind A Part of Us by Fever Ray, Lotus by Susumu Hirasawa (I'm not sure what's happening in this animation but it's the only version of the song I can find in decent quality), and the Prelude/Main Theme from the Final Fantasy series (I'm counting them as one).
The first makes repeated references to planting a walnut tree - something that takes a long time to grow, and that you might not see come to fruition for a while. Maybe not until after you're gone, but you do it anyway. The second is like victory distilled into audio form; I don't think you create something quite so jubilant and celebratory without a significant battle with something dark before it. And then the latter two have been my guides for opening and ending a story - if I'm hitting beats that feel like they fit the music, I feel like I'm on the right track.

My brain vomit about Genshin.
Sorry it’s not actually logically put together, but my brain was going off track too much to actually make it into something resembling anything logical.
I am so unobservant that I only today noticed this:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
So, I knew since the beginning that Paimon was some kind of goddess, but I hated the idea she may turn out to be an Unknown God, because it would be too boring if you ask me. I also noticed that she was wearing a crown which has the similar design as the crowns related to withered threes. Those crowns are made from Irminsul, which is the name of the withered threes, and they are related to some mysterious place deep within the ground and also to the leylines itself.
Tumblr media
(I dunno if those crowns here are actually Irminsul Crowns, because Piamon’s crown is different in design than those, but they resemble the crown from the logo. Like we could for example assume that those crowns seen in domains are just mere imitations of the original crown which I would assume Paimon wears).
Withered threes also are related to the leylines. The items you give them - the Resin and Condensed Resin are both related to leylines. They look as if they had a leaf of something frozen in them, maybe those are the leaves of those threes before they withered? And they supposedly revitalize leylines.
[If you know what leylines are from other sources you know how important that revitalization is for the world of Teyvat, because they ALWAYS work the same.]
Anyway, I wanted to talk about Paimon.
So, I considered for quite some time that she could be the Goddess of Time, considering the place she was found is actually pretty close to the Goddess of Time island, but I dunno if I am still on board with this idea. It mainly depends on two factors: if I consider all the gods in Genshin to have powers related to Celestia or only those who "ascended the thrones" and became the Seven and if only the Seven, then why the Goddess of Time would be an exception to the rule in that case? I could for example assume that Goddess of Time was one of the more superior gods than the rest of the gods of Teyvat, the direct relation to the Celestia itself, which would explain why she has triquetra on her island too.
Triquetra meaning: The cycles of life (life-death-rebirth) The promises of a husband to his wife (love-honour-protect) The family (father-mother-child) The passage of time (past-present-future)
As you can see both the Statues and Pillars have the same design, but only the statues have those blue thingies in them, the same ones which make the insides of the pillar which supposedly fell from Celestia and made Dragonspine the place we see it as of now today - frozen mountain.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Which funnily pillars from the login screen DON’T have, or at least it’s not visible.
Tumblr media
The power of the Archon is the power of Celestia, because Statues of the Seven have the designs of Celestia all over them and because the Seven ascended the thrones of the divine to become who they are today (and funnily Venti hates even thinking about them, which will come back to later), so if Paimon bears the same symbols as Celestia, not only in the design of the decorations of her boots but also including triquetra (which has many meanings outside Genshin lore and could also mean thousand different things inside Genshin as well), then it means she is one of the beings of Celestia. The question is... what kind of being and why she is on Teyvat? Was she sent to keep an eye on the MC under the guise of being their guide, so MC wouldn't turn out like the Sibling, whose knowledge of the world of Teyvat barred them from leaving it, or she was kicked out for doing something against Celestia, and that's why she doesn't remember Celestia at all, but knows, so much about Teyvat instead?
I am a lore obsessed person at heart. I didn't though have the time or energy yet to read all the codexes from Genshin, so my knowledge is mostly second hand. But as the saying goes, Celestia sus. Something is wrong with Celestia. It’s tilted and weird and Venti hates thinking about it, and Venessa’s ascension looked as if she was going to court marshal or a trial instead of being recognised. And the fact that the places related to leylines are also related to Celestia somehow is important for reason yet unknown. And Paimon being with us can be either a coincidence or part of a bigger plan, though Paimon didn't show any indication that she actually has any mission. She never had any slips which Ai-chan from Honkai had, hinting something was wrong with Paimon. Paimon never forced MC to change their mind about something, so I am more prone to believe that Paimon isn't an agent of Celestia but is a being of Celestia of some kind and she is MC's guide just like supposedly Dain was to the Sibling at some point in time.
Also there is something utterly wrong with Domains. Where the fuck they even are? WHY there are tornados around electro domain?! Why all domains seem to be in a different plane of existence with all the bad stuff just outside?
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
(Those eyes which I dubbed Dread Wolf eyes, also look like the quanta symbol from Honkai, and the symbol on the cubes of the Unknown God's attack).
Those murals make me scream each time I see them, because THEY HOLD KNOWLEDGE TO SOMETHING! Are domains part of Abyss? THEY HAVE ABYSS SIGNS ALL OVER THE PLACE! But why they would still be important to the leylines, which revitalize the world? WHAT IS GOING ON GENSHIN!?
Edit: (praise the author of those videos, I officially love them)
I found a useful video, whose author’s train of thoughts overlaps with mine, and because they know a lot about Genshin I wanna link it here, so you could watch it, along with their video about domains.
youtube
youtube
Some of the questions I myself asked are actually answered here.
Edit 2:
The first 50 seconds of this video is literally what I do in domains. STARE AT THIS GODDAMNED MURAL, GODDAMMIT I HATE YOU!
youtube
Nice to know I am not alone in my musings. Please, go sub to Ashikai.

Guardian's Soul: MUCH better thank you. auron my beloved <3 the lines are very appealing and i like how simple it appears. also looks like auron's swords. 8/10
Sleeping Lion: wayyy better than lionheart. looks kinda like a gunblade! again though what are those lions doing. 8/10
Fenrir: my car key got in a fight. 1/10
Bond of Flame: looks like a bad first draft of axel's keyblade. either the teeth or the guard should look like a chakram, pick one. love it though. 7/10
Two Become One: MY BELOVED <3 excellent design, so so so roxas i think he should use it. very excellent i love the little twist at the top. checkered handle is a little weird. 10/10
Fatal Crest: lol i was so mad when i first saw this because it looked like one of my oc's keyblades. i like it now though, it's a dragon!! pretty neat bro 8/10
Winner's Proof: oh this one is so cute. if it wasn't a reward it would be really weird and bad. surprisingly elegant! and there's even 13 mushrooms on it! 9/10
Tumblr media
(shoutout to portadorx on deviantart for the 358 keyblade refs)
Missing Ache: YOU. interesting design, though it says roxas more than ventus to me. great first alt keyblade. 7/10
Ominous Blight: very edgy names in this game <3 looks like guardian's soul, which is interesting. i don't like yellow but it works bc blight 6/10
Abaddon Plasma: what a cool fucking name. so many yellow keyblades. but very cool looking i love roxas' aesthetic 8/10
Pain of Solitude: this is just pink missing ache. 8/10
Sign of Innocence: SO COOL. idk what's going on in most of these blades but i love it. 9/10
Crown of Guilt: come on. it doesn't look like a crown. big disappointment. very cool though 6/10
Abyssal Tide: so cool!! i love blue and fighting in midair <3 the teeth kinda looks like waves 8/10
Leviathan: weirdly furry looking. very cool guard 6/10
True Light's Flight: looks like two become one if it was only one. the top kinda looks like the nobody sigil 9/10
Rejection of Fate: SPEAR. epic name too, but i think it should swap names with true light's flight. very cool but i don't remember seeing it in name. kinda awkward bc it looks like it should be a spear 7/10
Midnight Roar: sooo cool. the orange handle pops without looking wrong... nice. also the teeth kinda look like a bat. 9/10
Glimpse of Darkness: ugly. weirdly bulky and hollow. short. 3/10
Total Eclipse: weirdly bumpy sword. i like how the orange looks like it glows. 5/10
Silent Dirge: GoD but purple. 2/10
Lunar Eclipse: TE but purple. 4/10
Darker than Dark: Hello 😳TLF but purple 10/10
Astral Blast: Abyssal Tide but yellow. interesting choice, but kinda clashes with the blue accents 7/10
Maverick Flare: Ominous Blight but red... excellent. very nice. 8/10
Twilight Blaze: Abaddon Plasma but red... also excellent. very epic. 9/10
Omega Weapon: props for not looking like any of the ultima weapons. very interesting and spiky but i kinda don't like it. 6/10
Aubade: kinda weird. "draws forth its wielder's personality"... ok. looks light elemented. 7/10
Wooden Stick: lol 10/10
Umbrella: not what i would've chosen but lol 10/10
Tumblr media
Zero/One: WONDERFUL, EXCELLENT, AMAZING. i can't really explain why i love this one so much it's just very good. 10/10
Tumblr media
Earthshaker: very solid design. not much to say it's just nice. love the colored guard. 7/10
Ends of the Earth: love that it is so clearly an earthshake upgrade. makes u realize how incomplete the first one is. 9/10
Dreadgnaw: kinda silly looking lol those are teeth. love the red bit in the center. looks very similar to earthshaker in a good way. 8/10
Chaos Ripper: looks like EotE but in a bad way. i don't like the weird teeth. it's also almost impractically long but i'm here for that. ALSO THE EYE. NICE. 7/10
Rainfell: oooo i love this it's so simple but so nice. very elegant 9/10
Stormfall: less nice. looks like a rainfell upgrade though. also kinda looks like master's defender which makes sense but i don't like it. 6/10
Brightcrest: GORGEOUS. PERFECT AND WONDERFUL. SO PRETTY. i wish it was kairi's. kinda looks to ornamental for aqua? but good for her. 10/10
Wayward Wind: none of ventus' blades look very ventusy to me. this one looks like an extra training one they had sitting around. cool shape though 5/10
Frolic Flame: NICE. looks like lea's frisbees! i like fire and fire designs so but it's a little awkward looking 8/10
Lost Memory: ok so first off WINGS. EXCELLENT. love that the only color is the heart. very cool and epic but i don't understand why it doesn't have a reverse grip handle. or the pointy bit at the tip. but still 10/10
Void Gear: hiii vanitas :) so anyway in my totally unbiased opinion this is the best keyblade ever obviously. love the gears and red accents and it's just super cool. the eyes and chains... vanitas character development keyblade when <3 10/10
Void Gear (White?): still very cool, love the simple contrast going on. 10/10
No Name: i didn't know this one was also called no name which is kinda lame. but i love the keyblade it's very cool. super glowy and i love the time design. 9/10
Crown Unlimit: I almost really like this one. very neat design, love the crowns and twists and glow. 7/10
Master's Defender: literally so plain and boring. i don't care if that's the point give it some frills. nice design though :/ 7/10
Broken Xblade: love the broken bits and the weird rust color. wish one of the kingdom keys was more broken and i think the top bit should be broken too. 7/10
Wooden Keyblade: sobbing and crying and tears. this is literally so cute and good and i love that it looks like Ends of the earth. or the kingdom key i guess. 10/10
Treasure Trove: i never expect to like this one but it's actually pretty nice :) wish the gems looked like they were spilling from the top and not leaking from the bottom. 8/10
Stroke of Midnight: also surprisingly nice! the guard kinda looks like a pumpkin which is cute. just a very cute design. 8/10
Fairy Stars: rad as hell. absolutely love this design very appealing. like how point the stars are. 9/10
Victory Line: i hate this one. maybe bc i don't like the world. kinda ugly and the teeth look awkward. 3/10
Mark of a Hero: ok we brought the clouds back but the weirdly buff trophy arm fucks this up. the blade is also just kind of a column, nothing going on there. 4/10
Hyperdrive: super cute!! love how the blade looks like laser fire and engine streams. the teeth are weird again though, and the handle looks like a bee 8/10
Pixie Petal: SO much better than fairy harp. this one is very cute and these teeth actually fit with the rest of the design. kinda short though >:/ 7/10
Sweetstack: oh this is so cute. a bunch of ice cream scoops!! why are the teeth oranges and what are some of those flavors. why are cones on the guard soft serve. 8/10
Ultima Weapon bbs: NICE. A SWORD WITH SOME FILIGREE BUT ALL IN BLUE. LOVE the wayfinders on it, very good for them. wish it wasn't just blue since it seems so aqua-centric but it looks nice soo 10/10
Tumblr media
Skull Noise: LITERALLY SO PERFECT. THAT'S SO TWEWY. INCREDIBLE. the headphones and mr mew keychain... wonderful. only thing is that the name is kinda weird. like it makes sense but sounds weird. 10/10
Guardian Bell: i like it more than i think i would. elegant looking, and i love the gargoyles on it. hate the sentient gargoyles tho. 8/10
Dual Disk: VERY cool! looks like it has a reverse grip. the teeth are really cool and i love the bright blue. 9/10
Ferris Gear: eh. pretty cute but i think my pinocchio bias is acting up. the gears are nice, reminds me of wishing star. 5/10
Knockout Punch: SO COOL. really love the spikiness and colors and that the guard looks like the monkey. unfortunately for it, i don't like monkey. 8/10
All for One: the design's nice and it matches the world... but eh. 5/10
Counterpoint: so fun!! the violin guard is great, and the blade looks so cool. the teeth are a little awkward looking, it goes up too much. 9/10
Divewing: RAD!. just a sword with a heart on it and i love it. just so fucking cool. and the guard looks like a wing so 10/10
Sweet Dreams: so cute :) in love with the meow wow on top, but the teeth go up too much again. and i think there should be some komory wings on it. 7/10
Ultima Weapon DDD: NICE. almost identical to the kh1 blade, but blue and BETTER. the wings above the guard and the crown coming out of dream eater sigil... brilliant. 10/10
Unbound: not a hit 💔 just kinda weird and unfinished looking? and the lime green bit is off-putting. the hear at the top is nice. 2/10
End of Pain: ok mood shift hello. looks like it should be one of terra's evil blades. at first i was thrown off but looking closer it's so cool. the wings and eye at the top... the horns above the guard... the butterfly and gazing eye (buttereye) keychain... magnificent. the blade reminds me of x2 dark knight paine's sword. 10/10
Ocean Rage: looks pretty cool at first but the monstro mouth guard is literally horrifying i don't want to look at it anymore 1/10
YMX's keyblade: apparently has no name and is different than the one in bbs. nothing new really to say since it looks pretty similar but the goat head on top is super interesting. how much did No Name (luxu) influence young xehanort... 9/10
Mirage Split: absolutely perfect. i can't think of anything that isn't positive to say. the stained glass, the heart by the teeth, the thin lines, the gradient, wings, pointy, the keychain, literally all perfect. 10/10
Nightmare's End: also utterly perfect. i don't like yellow but it works here and looks great. the cyan gradient is startling but matches MS so i love it. all the colors in the stained glass are wonderful. 10/10
Tumblr media
Starlight+: a little guady. but i love how the stars look like comets. the twisted blade looks neat too, but what's the point of the pointy bit on top. 7/10
Treasure Trove+: love that it looks golden and gem encrusted. very rich looking, but the cart is still leaking gems. 8/10
Lady Luck+: NOW the card thing makes more sense, i love how its incorporated throughout the design. more more interesting than the original. 9/10
Three Wishes+: looks like fire?? which is way cooler but why??? i like it more but where's the agrabah. 8/10
Olympia+: CLOUDS. like that zeus is in the clouds, but they took my columns. and the cyan handles are really weird. 7/10
Divine Rose+: excellent. what it should've been all along. the iridescenty guard is suuuper pretty and all the leaves and vines are great. 10/10
Moogle o' Glory: a lot happening here but i love smacking shit with a moogle head. there's so much happening and i don't really get it. 7/10
Fairy Stars+: i didn't know it could get better, the teeth is super cool looking but i wish the twisty blade was more visible. 9/10
Sleeping Lion+: love that it turns that metallic light blue color, very pretty. and the handle looks more like the gunblade! very nice looking and i used it a lot but the top is very weird. 9/10
Counterpoint+: let's take all the fun and exciting bits from the original and crANK IT UP TO ELEVEN. wait. stop. go back it's too much. very pretty still i love colors. 8/10
Fenrir+: my car key recovered from that fight. looks wayyy cooler and looks like ff7. hate the cyan glow though it feels weird. 6/10
Darkgnaw+: took me forever to find an image bc i keep calling it dreadgnaw. much cooler than the original, it looks like it's gonna bite you. the purple is also very nice. 9/10
Missing Ache+: POINTY. super cool but how does ventus twirl it around without poking himself. the colors are fun and it looks rad. 10/10
Diamond Dust+: i used this one the most <3 very pretty i love shades of blue and purple :) looks kinda icy but the top is weirdly flat. 9/10
Bad Guy Breaker: there's so much happening calm down 😭kinda nice but there's a lot to look at. also this world irritated me. 4/10
Gula's Keyblade: #leopardus4ever. as you can see, this keyblade is perfection. fun and spiky and lightningy. i think the whole blade should be lightning tho. 10/10
Aced's Keyblade: do any of these have names. anyway what a dreadgnaw ripoff 🙄 it suits him but guess what. i don't like him. 5/10
Ira's Keyblade: i don't like ira either but his blade is fucking great. love the teeth so much, and the colors. very pretty and cool 8/10
Invi's Keyblade: absolutely gorgeous. i love the flowing lines and little vines. love the colors and also it's super long. 9/10
Ava's Keyblade: girl this hurts to look at on a white background. very pretty though, i love how wispy and cloud-like it is. looks delicate which is great considering she'll kick anyone's ass. 8/10
No Name: unfortunately, this is absolutely wicked. look at it. it's wonderful. the goat head looks so much cooler than the other animal heads somehow, and i love the hollow center of the blade. and the teeth look like a claw, a little. just so fucking cool but i hate everyone who uses this. 10/10
Tumblr media
Shooting Star: super pretty, i love how this one flows. i wish the blade went down to wrap around the guard though, instead of cutting off. 8/10
Hero's Origin: they took away my clouds again. i like that half of it is just. zeus. the lightning bolts are cool, but the handle and guard don't really match. 6/10
Favorite Deputy: you are not my favorite deputy fuck you. i don't like toy story but i do like cactuses. 3/10
Ever After: this one's nice :) the guard is super pretty, but i wish there was more going on with the blade. 7/10
Happy Gear: this one's kinda ugly but i like it soo. the energy canister guard is cute. 7/10
Crystal Snow: i hate it so much. it's boring and the keychain is olaf and i don't like frozen. 1/10
Hunny Spout: pretty cute :) the honey jars remind me of sweetstack. i like the wooden handle. 7/10
Wheel of Fate: cool as hell that's my boat. love that the blade looks like a mast that's so cool. wish it wasn't so gray though. 8/10
Nano Gear: ah, here's the color. i like everything except how the nanobots look at the top. it's just kinda gross. 7/10
Grand Chef: oh this is so cute. but why is remy the teeth. poor rat :( but it looks very nice i like how the Tower goes into the guard 8/10
Classic Tone: fuckyoufuckyoufuc. i hate this one. pretty ugly and i don't like it. 2/10
Starlight: SO GOOD. very simple but i like that. looks mysteriously similar to the kingdom key? i love it but it needs a little more going on. 9/10
Ultima Weapon 3: LOOK AT IT. ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE THEY CAN'T MAKE A BETTER ULTIMA WEAPON. the silver and red look so good and it's spiky and cool. and the red is glittery!!! why? i don't care it's phenomenal. the spiky heart teeth. that it looks like it's moving. i wish i could break my rating scale. 10/10
Braveheart: riku kingdomhearts stole my fucking car key. we've all heard the complaints i'm not repeating them 1/10
Star Cluster: it's really nice >:( mickey switch with riku pleaase. the star theme is really cute and the colors are nice but why does it look so similar to the kingdom key. 8/10
Flame Liberator: i don't like the name but ok i guess. the keyblade is so fucking cool though. it's what bond of flame wanted to be. i love fire and it looks like it moves so hell yeah. 9/10
Xblade: still can't decide if i like this or not. How do you hold it comfortably. Love the glistening spiky bits. 8/10
