ok not to talk about taz balance in this year of our lord 2022 but here is something that still bothers me:

massive swathes of the fanart depicted barry bluejeans as a young, thin guy. even when he was given the requisite dad energy, it was often Cool Millenial Hipster Dad energy. I hate that. he was explicitly described at FAT and DORKY and MIDDLE-AGED. i will never forgive the fandom for failing to stay true to that

Okay so I just saw your review on your first experience with claw clips and as a firm believer of the claw clip supremacy, i was summoned

At first I was also 100% pissed at all the hairs falling out (especially cause my haircut is a grown out mullet, so very different lengths throughout it all, hard to get together) (i also have wavy/curly hair and A LOT of it lol, you need to fight to see my scalp)

Anyways, i found one claw clip that is the perfect shape and size to hold my hair perfectly (see following picture)

And it changed my life!! It is far betther for your hair health (doesn’t squeeze it like a normal tie) and also aesthetically pleasing lol

If i were you, i’d try different ways to clip it and different sizes/shapes of clips, with this one i sent, i can keep my full and uneven hair clipped the whole day, now that i learned what works best for my hair type/style

And you get used to placing your head down with the clips!! But if you really think it isn’t for you, maybe try Brass Hair Forks!! (Idk if that’s the actual name but its what i found on the internet lol, i just call it “bun thingy”)

i love that claw-clip enthusiasts came out of the woodwork to show their support.

i am definitely going to experiment with different sizes/shapes. the round one in the first pic looks TOP TIER and is going on my list immediately. they're so aesthetically pleasing and cute that i really can't give up yet.

unfortunately i can't get behind the "get used to keeping my head down" with clips as i try very hard to not sit like a shrimp or a cashew nut. and what really bothered me yesterday while driving was how terrible my posture had to be??? and i had to adjust all my mirrors and seat etc etc. but i got a suggestion to move the clip to the top of my head while in transit, so we might give that a go. I'll play around with the different options and see if there's anything that works!

but those PINS. i am FAMILIAR. and I LOVE. if my hair goes into a bun, its usually with pins and not with a tie (i stopped a few years ago when i started growing my hair out and had to cut a hairtye out of my hair a few times). FULLY support that message.

no one asked but here is my definitive rating of every nct mullet so far:

taeil: colour is great and the shaved sides are iconic. just because the image of taeils hair from chain popped into my head this gets knocked down, 8/10

taeyong: slightly too long for my personal liking, but I loved the plaits. the colour suits him (but literally any colour does). not my fave mullet but because it's taeyong 7/10

yuta: the red was absolutely iconic and so I have no other choice than to give 9/10

mark: as much as I want to love this.... sorry mark but it's really not the one 4/10

xiaojun: this would look so good and gives me renjun vibes if it was a bit longer. I don't know if I can even call this a mullet but do see potential in it. 6/10

renjun: this is the one boys. not only is this the best mullet in nct, but also in the whole of the kpop industry. 10/10

haechan: this mullet causes me a lot of confusion and I change my opinion every time I see a different photo. sometimes I want nothing but mullet haechan and other times I want anything but mullet haechan. it's deffinitely a bold mullet so for that a solid 7/10

jaemin: similar to xiaojun, there's not much there but I see the potential. however silver/blonde jaemin remains superior so it gets slightly higher. 6.5/10

yangyang: I completely forgot this existed till now but this mullet holds so much power. 9.5/10

Hi ok so one of my biggest pet peeve’s when it comes to fnaf fanart is that they draw Michael Afton too modern (though i dont judge anyone for it everyone has their own interpretation) like he looks like he lives in 2014 and not the 80s so I deeply thank you for this art. Michael Afton in a mullet supremacy. Also your Mrs. Afton is simply scrumptious, a whole snack. Shes so pretty like I’m this close to jumping through the screen and stealing her from will.
