Peter Benjamin Stark Series by MoonBoo

[Part 1, Stars Align Summary] Pepper is concerned about Stark Industry's image and organizes a tour for a group of orphans. It's during this tour that Tony meets a five-year-old Peter Parker, who is mute due to the trauma of witnessing Ben and May dying in a robbery, and realizes they're soulmates.

Time Brings All Things to Pass by MsWinifredQuale

Tony feels like he's in a good place right now. He's got a great fiancee, a makeshift but settled little family, and he's even in a fairly ok place with the former Rogues.

So naturally the universe decides to throw him some curve balls, when he gets a call one morning from the police claiming they've just picked up Howard and Maria Stark from the side of the road.

And that's not the only time-related event about to unfold.

Mugs Are A Problem (I Do What I Want) by JAWorley

It’s not usually a problem. Tony doesn’t usually have to work so hard to hide it because Pepper, Happy, and Rhodey know. He can be himself around them. Right after the compound had been built, Tony had been worried about moving in with the Avengers full time… worried they’d notice his tics and figure out his secret. Then Germany had happened and the team had split up before they could fully move into the compound. Tony had had two years where he hadn’t needed to worry about it. Now that the Rogues are back and are living in the tower full time, it’s on his mind again and stressing him out. The problem? Coffee mugs. Well… coffee mugs, and other things and the fact that when he’s stressed out, the tics get worse. But mainly coffee mugs. Coffee mugs are the bane of his existence. OR Tony has Tourette Syndrome and he doesn’t want the Avengers (or Peter) to find out about it. The newly returned Avengers think Tony is just being a jerk when he knocks things off of tables and counters, because they think he’s doing it on purpose. Despite the angsty summary, this is all about the team coming back together and Tony learning that the people in his life can’t accept him as he is until given the chance to know him as he is.

This is... what it says on the tin. It is a long post. I do not expect it to get any traction. I am doing this for autism reasons. Some ideas are actually excluded because there is zero substance to them. Sorry I don't think anyone wants to hear my 1000 'what if Grian... was sad' ideas.

Many of these (most of them) were made in collaboration with @angeart which explains why they are so sad and also Mostly Scarian. It doesn't always say it's shipping but it usually is. We are Grian Girlies. Sorry.

Vex Hunger Kidnapping Griangst AU

CW: discrimination, starvation, cannibalism (non-consensual), gore

Grian (avian) and Cub (vex) are kidnapped by scientists on their way back from MCC. They are kept in a cell where Cub is starved until he goes feral and starts attacking Grian out of Vex instincts.

Also eats Grian a lot. Don't worry, Grian can respawn, but he respawns back in the cell in a puddle of his own blood, only to be torn to pieces again.

They are rescued by the hermits. Now traumatised! Yippee!

Things get worse before they get better

Basically, Grian’s self-destructive trauma urges: the movie

Evil Scar Corruption AU

CW: mind control, kidnapping, torture, amputation, manipulation / mindbreak

Scar gets corrupted by the Vex which take over his mind. His love for Grian is mutated into selfish obsession, and eventually he kidnaps and tortures him in an attempt to make him stay forever.

Cuts off his wings and everything. (they grow back)

Eventually the hermits find out and lock Scar up while trying to heal Grian - but Grian broke somewhere along the way and now thinks what Scar was doing was true love.

Scar comes back to his senses and the guilt hits him like a truck. Eventually he leaves the server and runs into his own Bad Relationship but don't worry about this.

Grian’s self-destructive urges: the sequel

The Facility AU

CW: near-death experience

Xisuma runs a top secret facility dedicated to the safety and containment of supernatural/otherworldly beings and entities.

Kind of like SCP but nicer.

Field workers Scar, Grian, and Cub are continuously put through the wash while other facility employees (namely Etho and Bdubs) have quirky little romance arcs.

Grian nearly dies because of a swimming pool btw. There is so much to this fic I cannot possibly explain here.

Respawn Enabled Hybrid Farms AU

Global Moderators have passed cross-server laws denying the rights of hybrid players and placing most hybrids in farms to be butchered like cattle for food and resources.

Grian, born and raised on one of these farms, escapes to Hermitcraft where he learns how to be a person with agency and freedom (ahem. only to have it taken away again. and again...).

Based very loosely on World Of Tomorrow by Don Hertzfeldt

Scar, co-CEO of ConCorp, buys a body that was grown in a lab with the intention of dissecting it

Despite the body being suspended in fluid all its life, it wakes up before Scar can do anything - it's alive, but doesn't know how to speak or move

Later, this lab-grown creature becomes Grian, learns how to speak and walk, and finds out about the impending heat death of the planet

Meanwhile, we have unethical treatment of prisoners, moon science, dogman and the existential existence of clones

Secret Life Watcher AU

All the life series players find out Grian is a Watcher at the start of Secret Life and then they are mean to him.

Mostly about both the grief of Grian’s old friends as they discover what happened to him, and the ethical / philosophical debate Grian has with himself about who he is and why people are upset about it - he's the ship of theseus kind of

Called ‘Elliott Smith AU’ because each installment in the series has a different Elliott Smith song title as a title

Offshoot from my main Watcher-Grian fic (Elliott Smith AU) of the same concept just with a different timeline as to make it way more evil.

Elliott Smith AU: Continuation 1 - BigB

BigB is a Listener - he went through a process called 'Hollowing' which is similar to Grian’s ‘Transfer’ (death and copying) except (as far as BigB is aware) it did not kill him, simply re-made him

Grian doesn’t agree that BigB didn’t die

A lot of philosophical debates here

Elliott Smith AU: Continuation 2 - Scar

CW: discussions of major character death, existential themes, betrayal

After winning Secret Life, Scar is taken by the Watchers and nearly turned into one before Grian, Martyn, BigB and the Listeners intervene

However Scar’s code is damaged and decaying, and Grian needs answers to fix it before Scar is lost forever

He seeks out the Watchers and is told to bring Martyn to them in exchange for Scar’s life being saved

Grian does this, like the sad little bastard he is

Queue Martyn escaping the Watchers anyway and now everything is awful and no one likes anything that has happened

Zombie Apoc AU

CW: death, zombies, I think you get the idea

Zombie apocalypse but Grian and Scar just moved in together (gay intent).

Scar gets turned, Grian keeps him in the basement and lures survivors in to keep Scar fed, despite Scar asking Grian to kill him before he turned.

Mumbo shows up and everything goes wrong. And maybe some things go right.

Main characters: Grian, Scar, Mumbo (are you tired of seeing their names yet?)

Zombie Apoc AU 2: this time it's sadder

CW: zombies, death, suicidal thoughts

Long story short is that Grian gets bitten

Scar and Grian live in an abandoned apartment block called ‘Desert View Apartments’ (though they move to Jimmy's farm before Grian gets bit)

Ren, Martyn, Impulse and Skizz hunkered down in the ‘King’s Court Shopping Centre’

Cleo, Bdubs, and Etho are taking refuge in an old castle-turned-museum

Jimmy, Scott, and Tango live on a farm together

Joel, Lizzie and BigB live in the woods and use plants to stave off the disease

Gem is a travelling mercenary with a pet reindeer who believes the only way to save society is to eradicate all zombies and infected people

Pearl is a nomad with a pack of stray dogs

Mumbo is some guy I'm sure he has a role somewhere

Space Age AU

CW: space colonisation, slavery, death, military stuff

Humans have colonised a large chunk of the galaxy

Grian comes from a group of humans who were against the human empire - said group was attacked, slaughtered, and disbanded

Scar used to be a part of the empire’s militia (though he is an alien, not human) but is no longer part of it

Mumbo does not know whether he is an android or not - androids are a slave class / killed on sight since their war with humans, and humans need to carry ID to prove they are human. Mumbo has an ID, but the tests for humans vs. androids are basically meaningless and inaccurate

Pearl was part of the same group as Grian, was captured and sold into servitude

Scar stows away on Grian’s spaceship (stolen) - Grian freaks out but they become somewhat friends

Scar and Grian go to a planet notorious for hating humans, because Scar wants a job there and Grian wants to get rid of him - Grian gets caught and thrown in prison

Scar meets Mumbo, a member of the planet’s court, and they work together to break Grian out and the three of them escape

They journey through space, meeting up with folks like Tango - eventually the gang find a ship run by Watchers (a powerful alien race) and they discover Pearl on board

Side Characters: Tango, Ren, Jimmy, Scott, Martyn, Gem

Hunger Games AU (Based on Floor 6, a now-deleted Lunch Club AU)

Hunger Games universe but the winners all live in a big tower apartment complex with each floor being a new decade of winners

Grian is the most recent winner!

Scar is my favourite victor because he ate people.

Grian Chrysalis AU

CW: insect stuff, body horror

Note I am autistic about this one.

Grian is a weird little guy who has to form a chrysalis and turn into goo before reforming

He needs to do this every few years to keep himself alive, as he is a unique cross between Watcher and player - except no one on Hermitcraft knows this about him, and Grian may have gotten distracted building for so long he forgot to take a vacation away from the server in time to go Bug Mode

So all they know is Grian is missing, and Xisuma is getting corrupted life signals from inside a mysterious chrysalis that has appeared - so they cut open the chrysalis while Grian is still reforming in there

He's goopy (body horror intent)

Main characters: Grian, Scar, Mumbo, Xisuma

Side characters: Hermit ensemble

The Crafting Dead (vine boom sound)

CW: medical torture, zombie apocalypse, captivity

Hermitcraft gets attacked (Watchers?) and lots of hermits are sent off to their own personal hells, with no memories of Hermitcraft

Xisuma has to go find them and bring them home and help them heal and re-introduce them to Hermitcraft and hopefully get their memories back

Scar is our main focus here - he’s stuck in the zombie apocalypse world of The Crafting Dead, where he spent his childhood and teen years before being rescued by Xisuma - now in his 30s, he thinks he’s been stuck there his whole life

Grian is having a bad time being fledged into a proper Watcher, forced to Watch, since he never escaped

Mumbo's in a cult and might be evil (it's fine. He's fine.) (Lie)

Pearl is roaming the forests with a ghostly wolf, her enemies blood long gone but still fresh on her hands as resources dwindle in a tiny world (Double Life)

Tango is chained like a beast in an underground fighting ring, labelled with a nickname that isn't his and placed in a betting pool with odds stacked highly in his favour (he always wins) (he has to win) (there is no respawn here)

Impulse has been freshly captured and put in the same lineup, odds stacked quite tremendously against him (they don't know what he is) (he could end them all with a snap of his fingers) (don't corner a demon)

Doc is huddled in the corner of a lab he never left, scientist-turned-experiment, taken apart and put back together again different, wrong, as more additions pile onto his growing list of hybridities (they've given him wings, and taken his eye)

Pirate Boatem But Evil And Mean

Scar is some guy obsessed with the occult who is part of a ghost hunting team with Impulse Gem and Skizz

He finds Grian, a “fallen angel” and decides to take care of him

Grian is actually a demon sent from the void to find a human and bring it to his masters (the Watchers) for harvesting

Grian used to be human maybe

Grian is blindfolded - he claims it is so he doesn't taint his purity with the image of the imperfect world but it is really there because his masters don't want him to see the world and fall in love with it. The void is all he knows

Scar teaches Grian self-worth while Grian slowly turns into an eldritch horror beyond comprehension

Monster-Pet AU

CW: dehumanisation, discrimination, medical abuse

Hybrids seen as either free labourers or pets depending on how rare they are

Grian is a Watcher, a very rare type of wild hybrid

He’s been a pet for a long time - taken from his flock and completely changed mentally

They de-clawed my boy, they took his sharp teeth away

One day he wanders away from his owners house by accident and stumbles into Hermitcraft (a free, hybrid-run town)

Healing arc but he struggles very hard to understand he isn't a pet

Pearl, former flockmate-turned-feral Watcher, attacks him when she finds him, reduced to believing any weak flockmate will lead to them being captured again

Grian and Mumbo are vampire hunters, part of the Hunter's Guild, dedicated to killing monsters

Dramatic backstory time: Grian's home village was slaughtered by vampires, leaving only orphaned children behind - he has a lot of vampire related trauma and has channeled that into becoming one of the best hunters around

Disaster Rescue Team AU

CW: survival cannibalism, systemic discrimination, torture, medical abuse

Scar, Pearl, Skizz, Impulse, Bdubs, Tango, Etho, Cub, and Mumbo are a disaster rescue team who specialise in helping hybrids

Grian is an avian living on a remote island that is destroyed by a storm, and he is trapped there for years until he's the only survivor left, the mainland government ignoring the situation

He's forced to resort to cannibalism to survive, then he's rescued

Scar is the therapist of the group who spends time working with Grian to rehabilitate him

Sadly most of his clients end up in bad situations, going missing, or in prison because the mainland is incredibly discriminatory

There is a government conspiracy happening where hybrids are being taken away after leaving the rescue facility and used for medical or scientific experimentation

Bad things happen to the gang.

The ones who walk away from Omelas AU

CW: torture and abuse, like, a lot of it

Based on the story 'The Ones Who Walk Away From Omelas' but with my own changes, for fun. This is actually one of my faves.

In the city of Omelas, life is perfect - there is no crime, no homelessness, no suffering. It is a Utopia

This Utopia comes at a cost, a single citizen, chosen randomly, must bear the suffering of all others, kept alone, starved and entirely isolated, underground, their whole life

The children of Omelas are shown this suffering early, to get them used to the idea. When they are horrified, they are told about the greater good of this sacrifice.

When Scar is a child, he sees the suffering scapegoat, at the time around his own age, and vows to rescue him one day

Twenty years later, he makes good on that promise

City Blues AU

CW: organ harvesting, gang violence, references to drugs

Architect Grian gets fired from his job, and has to move to the bad part of the city for the first time ever. There he is very quickly noted and attacked, but a cunning drug dealer saves him.

He's given a place to stay by the salesman, Scar, but he owes the man. He has to work as an errand boy for a while to earn his freedom.

I mean, how hard could it be?

(it's considerably more difficult when he develops a crush)

(and because everyone in this place wants to get their hands on his kidneys)

Scar and Cub are serial killers who kill while their housemate, Grian, is out working for days on end

Grian happens to come home early one time and finds them mid-kill

After a series of breakdowns and a lot of throwing up, Grian gets kind of into it tbh

He watches the kills (and enjoys taunting the victims) and acts as friendly, harmless bait for other victims

Scar and Cub also introduce him to cannibalism, and he gets a little bit obsessed with trying to hunt down other avians to kill

Scar and Cub are human, while Grian is an avian, and though Scar expresses his love with violent fantasies, they would never hurt Grian

Grian's friends: Mumbo, Jimmy and Pearl, may have a little to say about this when they find out ^-^

So, Criminal Case AU that I have talked about

This is only a summary of some stuff happened in this AU, some other stuff will be buried 6 feet under because it was embarrassing and cringe lol

TW// INFECTION AU, BODY HORROR, DEATH

So infection AU happened few days before season 5 started, some stuff happened earlier like Zoe got kidnapped somehow I didn't think of the reason yet

DreamLife still did some human experiment stuff, but experiment gone wrong apocalypse happened

Here is the map

University is isolated/protected by Rita, but it's still dangerous as there are some infected and even bloomer

Airport is isolated as soon as there was notification, our player is still stucked here

Fairview is where GPD's located, safest place as there are only testing infected

Money Mile and Newmark are the first places that the infection spread, tho the Newmark is safer as there are only workers who rebuild the place

There is not much to say about Spring Fields, Maple Heights and The Greens as most of the citizen got enough time to prepare themselves before the infection spread to their places, tho these places is not too safe since infected are still walking around and some are on blooming stage

Misty Grove is the place that started all of this, most dangerous place, many infected, bloomer and (neo-)mutated here, people rarely walk out of this place alive

What happened to GPD members? For whom I didn't mentioned they are mostly stressed but healthy

Nathan was alive, he wasn't killed in the 1st case, however he was infected, later on he lost conscious and became a real zombie, so ||Jones took him out|| before he could turn into a Bloomer (zombie that's spreading infection through air), Jones then became depressed and unavailable

Rita went missing after a mission and Martine snuck out to search for her, she reached the University and found Rita, however she was long gone and is now a mutated zombie

Cathy and Alex both went missing, Sammy was given to Gloria by Cathy before she went missing

Tony and Ginger were stucked together on a business trip, later on, Tony went searching for supplies and his son, leaving Ginger behind, who then saved by Mia and Diane, while Tony was chased down university and stucked with Rita and Martine

Joe Warren created another shelter and trying to find away to reverse this whole stuff, but stuff happened, Joe and Julia both got infected then casted out of their own shelter, they then fused together and lurking around the city

thinking Extremely Hard about a Mamma Mia!-stuck au like:

- Dave originally being a director and having essentially raised Dirk but without the water apocalypse his midlife crisis hits Hard, so he gives away most of the money, buys an island, and creates a lil resort on it, which that’s cool!! He can handle it!!! But now the remainder of the money is in Dirk’s college fund so okay, he’s fallen on some financial straits, but he can still keep the place up and running.

- Dirk helps out and gets them online but eventually comes the day where he meets Jake and then after that comes the day when they decide to sail the world together. Dirk’s ready to go whenever except Dave would be left with the resort all on his lonesome. And Dave is visibly buckling under the stress.

- So Dirk’s trying to figure out how to get this asshole some help when he stumbles on The Notebook.

- The Notebook is actually a Journal which is actually a Diary, Dave’s old diary, and there’s some illicit details in there that Dirk wishes he could scrub from his memory forever, but it proves useful because it mentions that years and years ago, he brought three separate love interests to the island before they all ran off and broke his fuckin’ heart. And now Dirk’s got the gears turning in his brain.

- So Dirk goes to Jake and says hey. I want a wedding. Let’s get married. and Jake’s like ???? okay ?????? what brought this on and Dirk’s like Do I need a reason to have a wedding.

- And Dirk of course is sending letters to the three love interests, posing as Dave, to invite them to Dirk’s wedding. Best case scenario, one of the assholes reconnects with his brother and he won’t be so lonely. Even better case scenario, Dirk can guilt trip the FUCK out of all three of them for breaking his brother’s heart and get Money off of it to give to Dave

- So who are the love interests? Glad you asked!

- You have June, once a childhood friend now estranged, and now also a famous comedian- she might have talked to Dave once or twice after everything, but once Dave fucked off the map, there were no more opportunities to even try to bring up what’d happened between them

- You have Karkat, once someone he fell into a relationship hard and fast, now a famous romance novelist and screenwriter. Is he still an alien? Fuck if I know, but the point is, their break up was messy enough that Dave never contacted him again, and Karkat’s got a shit ton of regrets

- Now my gut reaction for number 3 is Jade, but I’m not entirely sure, since I’m not sure how her relation to Jake is in this yet hbkj. Likely a famous scientist and adventurer at this point.

- If not Jade we could probs do Terezi in that slot? Or else pare it down to just the two love interests lol anyway not important rn

- Point is, once they get there, Dirk is doing double time trying to keep Dave from finding out that Dirk’s the one who invited the love interests, pretending to be excited for a wedding he’s only staging to parent trap his bro, trying to keep Jake from knowing that he’s only staging this to parent trap his bro because he’s afraid Jake will believe the relationship was Only there so Dirk could use their relationship as an excuse even though he still loves Jake, and not-so-subtly implying that Dave’s stress is all these chucklefucks’ fault, so like. Pay up.

- Meanwhile Dave has no knowledge of what the fuck’s happening and has just learned that Dirk wants to have a wedding, actually, which while coming out of left field Dave’s actually pretty excited for. As far as Dave’s concerned, he’ll never have a big white wedding of his own, so it’s probably fine to live vicariously through his lil bro right? Just a little? Meaning he’s gotta get this shit on Lockdown

- and, predictably, Shenanigans Ensue.

- and I have no idea who Dave ends up with.

Nope he's alive! He was on a field trip the day of infection broke out so he wasn't immediately exposed to the outbreak, giving him some time to prepare and find others to group with. He will show up later in the story but probably won't have a major role. He also found a stray cat during the apocalypse and they're buddies :3!!!

Description: tua au where Five finds someone else in the apocalypse and they fall in love (Five x male). not very organized, kinda all over the place. some fluff.

Sorry for switching tenses in the middle. Different paragraphs were written at different times separately and i didn’t feel like changing it. Writing isn’t great and it’s very messy i’m sorry i just wanted to get my ideas down idk i’m sorry

[we enter when Five has just jumped to the apocalypse and found his siblings]

Five notices a figure in the distance. He doesn’t think it’s another person, it can’t be, how could someone have survived something like this? He starts walking closer to it, the closer he gets the more he realizes… it is another person. “Hey!” He calls out. They start running. Five chases after them. Not long into the chase, the person trips on a piece of broken wood. Five is standing over them. “Who are you?” He asks.

This boy Five has found, who is wearing a striped short-sleeved shirt and black jeans, is shaking. His pale skin is covered in dirt and ash. He has grey eyes and curly, dark brown hair. His arms are covered in scratches. “Are you asking for my name?” He responds.

“I’m asking how the fuck did you survive this?” Five says.

“It’s hard to explain,” The boy stands up and dusts off his pants.

“Well,” Five replies, “seems like we’ve got all the time in the world.”

“How did you survive?”

“I’m a time traveler and I went too far. Can’t get back. Now does it seem hard for you to explain?”

And so Noah (that’s the boy’s name) explained. He, like Five, has powers. He can create a force field around anything he wants, including himself. He can also move objects with his mind, although he’s not that good at it yet. But he’s mastered his force fields. He can make them big or small, he can make multiple at the same time, and he can fit as many people or things in one as he likes. Noah lived in a small cottage just outside of the city with his dad. When the apocalypse happened he was alone because his dad was out fishing. He left the cottage to see if anyone else had survived and he’d just made it to the city when Five spotted him.

“Your force field was strong enough to protect you from the apocalypse?” Five questioned.

“I guess so. It didn’t work perfect, though. I started struggling and a hole formed. That’s how I got all these scratches,” Noah shows Five his arm.

They made a good pair together. At first, Five wasn’t so sure about Noah but he quickly proved himself to be useful. Five would collect bits and pieces of broken objects and buildings and Noah would turn them into something. Five found a broken wagon and Noah fixed it and wrapped the handle with cloth so the grip was better. Noah knew how to help Five calm down when he was getting worked up. And Five knew when Noah was feeling down, no matter how good Noah was at masking it. They spent their time trading stories and learning about each other. Noah was the only person Five really opened up to. Five learned about Noah’s mom, who died of lung cancer when he was nine. “We weren’t that close,” Noah says, “my dad always told her to stop smoking.”

One morning Five found a vinyl player underneath a pile of ash-covered bricks. Next to it were vinyls. “Noah! Look what I found!” Noah got up from the rock he was sitting on and walked over.

“Is that a vinyl player?” He asked, “do you think it still works?”

“Let’s find out,” Five replied. He set it down and tried playing “Happy Together” by The Turtles. It wasn’t perfect, but it worked well enough and they danced together, holding each other’s hands tight. Delores the mannequin sat in the wagon not far away. Halfway through the song it stopped playing. They both laughed, still holding hands. Their eyes met, Noah kissed Five on the cheek, then Five kissed Noah on the lips.

Years later, Noah made rings out of bits of wire he found. He surprised Five with them. Although their marriage wasn’t legall, they were still husbands at heart.

They grew old together. When the Handler came, she originally asked for just Five, but he insisted on bringing Noah too. She agreed and Noah and Five went on missions together.

When they jumped through the portal together to get back to 2019, the fire hydrant Klaus had thrown at it hit Noah. Five yelled, “you hit my husband with a fire hydrant!”

“Sorry…?” Klaus said.

Noah went with Five that day to get a coffee from Griddy’s Doughnuts. When Agnes asked what they wanted Five said, “Coffee, black. He’ll have the same.”

“Cute kids,” Agnes replied to the man sitting near them. She thought Five and Noah were twins.

After the fight, Five and Noah left Griddy’s holding hands, covered in blood.

GALLY in a MODERN, CELEBRITY, PR RELATIONSHIP! AU. now, this is one loaded™ au so stick with me, asdfghgfds. gally is a small time celebrity. correction: gally is the son of two famous actors who fell in love on set of an action film, and had an incredibly public romance. from very young, it was thought he would follow in his parent’s footsteps and become an actor as well - in fact, he even did a few acting jobs as a child and while he wasn’t exactly critically acclaimed, he was talented enough as paolo morelli in goncharov, and he was a child and so it was forgivable. when he was eleven, however, his parents famously sent him abroad, to go live with his grandparents in some rural town. he grew quite a bit in those 18 years, and now he’s a talented ufc figher (with a background in boxing, wresting. kockboxing, and taekwondo, though occasionally he’ll throw in some jiu-jitsu or muay thai. he has a wide range of fighting styles, alright?) who would really rather not have celebrity status at all because while it’s flattering that people cheer for him in the ring, he really would like to just,,,, walk around new york city like a normal human being every once in a while. you, on the other hand, are a somewhat up and coming actor, still diversifying your roles and trying to figure out where you belong. your career really shot off when you played a major character in game of thrones, and then later, a role in bridgerton. you’ve done other work before that - small time roles, nothing of note unless your a die hard fan that wishes to watch every piece of media you’ve ever acted in - but you were recently offered a role in a blockbuster of epic proportions, and you’re staking your entire career on it. the problem is, it’s not exactly a period piece or any kind of historical fantasy (of which you are most well known and popular)... it’s an apocalypse movie. a sort of revival of the genre amidst the influx of superhero movies, if you will. you auditioned and got the part, and so there’s no real worry over your ability to act the hell out of this film, but when it comes to convincing the public, something more has to be done. you’re not exactly well known for your fighting ability, after all. wait. fighting ability?? the director of the film is a bit on the young side, but she’s been friends with gally since his amateur acting days i mean they starred together in goncharov after all. gally begrudgingly sees her as a younger sister, so when she begs him on her hands and knees to come back to acting - just for a small role that involves a lot of stunts!!! - he can’t exactly say no. and so what if she forgot to mention that his character has a small, heavily implied yet next explicitly stated, romantic arc with you, the main character? it’s not like she purposefully left that out when attempting to convince him, haha. and so when you and gally first meet, he already has a bad taste in his mouth for this entire affair. really, he was the idiot for not reading about his character as thoroughly as he should, but that doesn’t change the fact that he officially hates this. any anyone taking part in it. and so...... you, too. and really, you are just a bit annoying in your Extreme Dedication to an acting job that probably won’t become that big a blockbuster, anyway. i mean, who wants apocalypse movies, anymore?? (mr. gally, sir, i think you are underestimating the found family dynamic) you both play your parts on camera well, but the dissent between you is starting early, and off camera, no one wants to be near the two of you. and so when your director sees you guys aren’t exactly... chummy with each other, she goes out of her way to send the two of you on Bonding Field Trips... that a desperate photographer notices and latches onto, immediately. the news breaks early the next day - is there a romance budding between hollywood’s newest actor and most forgotten star??? gally is allergic to press and so he doesn’t actually realize what’s happened until he’s been caught by paparazzi and he deigns to check the news. this reporter by the name of thomas,,,,,, he better watch his back, gally is not pleaased. and so when the both of you rush onto set that morning you’re both understandably upset - you have a partner!!! well,,, okay, maybe you have a crush on a fellow actor - but it was certainly progressing!!! it was going somewhere!!!! never mind if they still overlooked you for someone else, you were going to confess to them soon!!! how can you do that now??? and meanwhile gally is like!!!!! this goes against my loner status!!!! the ~bad boy~ appeal!!!! i already took a season off of fighting for this stupid movie, and now you’re ruining my image, too???? but that’s when the both of you are stunned. absolutely blindsighted. this is good pr for the movie, can’t you just pretend to be dating during the shooting process, press tour, and like four months after the release??? oh, someone is about to die on this set piece - we can call it an unfortunate accident, and the press from that will cover up this ridiculous dating scandal that will not ever, in a thousand years, under any circumstances happen— hard cut to you and gally planning your first ~undercover~ date. this is not going to well - of that, you are most certain. gally is the hardest person to get along with! nothing is ever good enough! he doesn’t even want to be here! he was born into the very profession you’ve been desperately chasing since you were old enough to realize the people on screen were actors and not just characters, and he mocks you for having any ambitions at all! at least you try things. at least you give them your all! what has gally done but squander his acting talent from the moment he arrived on set? well, did it ever occur to you that he hates show buisness? that he ran away from it for a very specific reason and never wanted to come back at all, but does so because he does have a heart, actually, and doesn’t want to see his old friend create something that’s a flop?? you know what? never mind. he’ll do whatever you want for these stupid dates. and he’ll be a good little puppet and smile at the cameras and everything. you just make the plans. he’ll wash his hands clean of any of it. if you hate him so much, the least he can do is let you choose what activities you have to grin and bear with him. and so you go on a date, and luckily, the press manages to miss the awkward moments. and then, sometime later, you go on a second. and at the end of that second date, the both of you get so drunk you’re actually laughing the whole way home. and maybe you don’t hate each other so much after all.... maybe you actually fall in love with this idiot - so much so that for a moment, you forget entirely how this relationship began in the first place. that is,,,,, until a Notoriously Hard-Ass Interviewer asks you about the pr relationship outright. after all, weren’t you seen trying to approach another actor, right around the time that the first images leaked? and so you admit when the first pictures leaked, you and gally weren’t dating - you were doing bonding activities so that your on-screen performance would seem more real. and then the rumors broke, and the two of you were a bit awkward about going to places together afterward, but you still did those bonding activities, and at some point, started to contact him outside of those events. you were given ufc tickets and wanted to go with someone who could explain what the hell was going on. you wanted to try out that new korean bbq place and wished to go with someone who would openly state his opinion on all of the food present, and eat it all with a smile anyway. you wanted to go to an amusement park with someone who was good at all the fair games and would insist on giving all the prizes to you. you wanted someone who would get incredibly competitive over inconsequential trivia when watching jeopardy on game night (he did grow up with his grandparents after all, and so game night was a very sacred occurrence, thank you very much). so you were interested in someone else when the rumors began. but when you started dating him - officially, that night when the both of you went to that release party for a fellow friend’s new movie - that was real. and so was everything after. but who knows? maybe gally was just treating you like some pr relationship. the reporters would have to ask him, next. and gally, who is in the car, commuting to an interview of his own yet watching this all take place live, swears viciously. you would do something like this. and despite himself, that’s why he loves you.

WesYarrow All’s Well That Ends Well (Good Ending AU) Timeline:

November 2001

Darla gives birth to Connor and kills Holtz. She sticks around after this. (This is the inciting incident for the timeline change.)

March 2002 (Late)

Wesley and Yarrow become a couple (at the Anya and Xander wedding — Anya and Xander are still together, but have to work on things.)

April 2002

Lorne tells Yarrow that they’re pregnant, much to Wesley’s surprise.

When Angel finds out he’s been drinking Connor’s blood Wesley has been translating the fake prophecies. Wesley’s then kicked out due to his inability to communicate (Yarrow goes with him.) He still talks to the others, but the relationship is now strained.

May 2002

Wesley’s relationship with Lilah begins.

Yarrow ends up in Sunnydale, as they went back to stay with Giles to help him after the events of Willow’s breakdown (Tara is in a coma instead of being dead.) Yarrow then follows him to England — which means they end up reconnecting to the earth (and their magic). This alerts their father about their pregnancy, and he begins to plan.

September 2002

Cordelia is found, with no memory.

Wesley and Yarrow return back to The Hyperion Hotel at Lorne’s request. They then find a way to get ‘Cordelia’s’ memories back. Yarrow’s father summons The Beast and the apocalypse begins.

Wesley rescues Lilah from The Beasts’ attack on Wolfram and Hart.

January 2003

The twins are born on the 12th. Lilah becomes sort of an 'honorary member' of the team, and work begins on breaking her bond. Yarrow’s father begins his preparation to summon Jasmine.

April 2003

Jasmine is summoned by Yarrow’s father after he kidnaps them (and Connor) and places the twins in a summoning circle. When Jasmine dies he does as well, apologizing and bequeathing his throne to Yarrow.

May 2003

The First is defeated and Sunnydale is destroyed — Yarrow, after all of this, gets a house in London. Eventually, once they’ve tied up all of the loose ends from the last apocalypse, Wesley and Lilah join them. Lilah’s connection to Wolfram and Hart is broken.

Post Canon

Wesley and Yarrow are married. They find out that the twins have inherited some of Yarrow's abilities when talking to Giles on New Years. (Late 2004 - Twins are 1)

Once the kids are old enough to not need to be constantly looked after Yarrow gets a job as the archivist of the high school Wesley works at. (2006 - Twins are 3)

As they begin high school Matilda officially starts to be trained by Buffy as a slayer and Jordan starts to help Giles with things. (2011 - Twins are 8)

Eventually the twins both go to college. (2021 - Twins are 18)

Matilda graduates and takes a gap year. She hangs out with the slayers for a while before travelling and continuing her study. Yarrow keeps in touch with her and Giles often (obviously.) Matilda also mails photos of her locations, so if either of her parents/Jordan want to visit they can use the mirror.

Jordan, however, stays in London and gets a job at the zoo. He spends his time off in the woods, talking to the wildlife in the forest behind Yarrow and Wesley's house. (He prefers things to be steady and comfortable, particularly since he has more of Yarrow's demon abilities. Though that's not to say he doesn't take the occasional trip when Matilda asks).

(Yarrow makes him keep a field guide and helps him communicate with the fairies, should they need things -- don't want him entering into any sketchy agreements after all.) (2025 - Twins are 22)

Class 108's Apocalypse Field Trip | Chapter 6.

If Sydney was anything other than cautious, she would consider herself observant. Partially because of the caution, she knew, but she chose to separate those traits when thinking about herself. It was for this reason that she began to notice Tabitha changing.

It was the little things, really. The way her hunger for knowledge had now manifested as ferocity. She didn’t like that look on Tabitha, who was usually so carefree.

Well, Syndey thought, maybe not carefree as much as good as putting on a persona.

It didn’t come out often, but what Sydney was really the most wary of was the statements. Rosie hadn’t told her about why she’d wanted to listen in on the Buried statement but Sydney had decided to mind her own business. It wasn’t as if it was a danger.

Or was it?

If it was, she decided, she’d deal with it when the time came.

“Lost in thought?” Katie came up behind her, raising an eyebrow while maintaining her token blank expression. Sydney and Katie had always got on fine, but Katie didn’t really seek anyone out for conversation. Except for Eva.

She didn't think about Eva.

Sydney gave a shrug in response, and Katie narrowed her eyes. “You’ve noticed too.” It was a statement, not a question, and Sydney nodded warily.

“It’s hard not to. Do you think we should say anything?” Sydney asked her. Katie shook her head.

“No.” She answered shortly.

Sydney raised an eyebrow. “Why not?”

Katie shrugged, and her eyes seemed to be glassy for a few seconds before she sighed. “I just wanted to check. Anyway, Martin and Mr. Sims are calling the rest of the class. Apparently, they want to say a few things before we continue.”

They hadn’t been resting for long, but time didn’t truly exist in this new world, Sydney knew. She nodded Mutely, and followed Katie’s trace.

“Marcy’s what?!” Tabitha shrieked, eyes wide. Her stomach felt loopy, and her vision began to blur in a mix of relief and fear. All she could think off was Marcy’s limp body being puppetted by spiderwebs, the scent of blood and the sound of her own laughter. She shivered, hands curling around herself.

Rosie put her hand on Tabitha’s shoulder to steady her, applying pressure just forceful enough to ground her without being painful. Tabitha seemed to steady some, digging her nails into her palm to focus.

“How…how do you know this?” Cal asked quietly. They’re eyes were fearful, but a dullness had seemed to set in that made Sydney uneasy. Apathy wasn’t good, even if it hurt less. She just wanted everyone to be okay.

“Annabelle Cane.” Martin answered, beginning to explain who she was. Sydney tuned him out, looking up to the sky and scowling at the Eye. The others could joke, and hell, she did too, but she loathed it with a passion.

Not just because it was evil, enjoying their suffering, but because it was in the sky. She’d always loved the sky, more than most things really, and the Eye had the audacity to take up so much space.

“So, she’s a spider lady, basically.” Elliot simplified, and Sydney thanked him inwardly for explaining since she’d tuned out what Martin had said.

Tabitha looked pale, but she nodded slowly, eyes filled with terror. Sydney felt for her.

Jon spoke up, looking around at the class and meeting all their eyes. “It’s complicated. We don’t know how she’s alive, because she was dead and Oliver didn’t bring her back. He’d have no reason to. He suspects the Web is involved, but Annabelle said she didn’t know what was going on.”

“That could very easily be a lie.” Rosie mused, biting her lip in focus.

Jon nodded. “Hence why I’m telling you all to keep your guard up. There’s obviously something going on here and I don’t trust it one bit.”

There was a brief silence, before the smell of heat wafted into Riko’s nose.

“Is that…fire?” She said, trying to get a glimpse of where the smell was coming from. Jon’s eyebrows raised in surprise.

“You can smell that?” He asked incredulously.

She raised an eyebrow. “What, you can’t?”

The rest of the class warily shook their heads. Jon sighed.

“We are near the domain of the Desolation…” he mused aloud, and Tabitha seemed to perk up in surprise. Sydney eyed her warily, and she glanced over to Katie who seemed to have a similar expression of reproach.

Riko shrugged, but something glinted in her eyes. “That’s the burning one, right?”

“Destruction, pain and fire.” Martin listed, thinking to himself. Jon nodded, gesturing to him in agreement. Riko narrowed her eyes and her face fell into an expression Sydney couldn’t decipher.

Raphi chimed in with a helpful- “those are the guys who like wax play, right?”

Jon choked, coughing, and Martin patted him on the back.

“Mhm!” Tabitha said, seemingly unfazed and coming back to herself. Sydney was glad to see the color return to her face.

“That’s hot.” Elliot said, grinning at his pun and giving finger guns at Raphi. Rosie groaned, and Raphi snickered. Katie’s face was notably blank, but Riko’s had raised an eyebrow incredulously, before shaking her head in an attempt to forget about Elliot’s terrible joke.

“Hi hot, I’m dad.” Jon deadpanned, turning to Raphi, and Martin’s eyebrows raised comically.

Tabitha snorted, and the rest of the class grinned, (minus Katie, who had never smiled in her entire life, or so Tabitha said).

“Is Martin mom then?” Sydney joked sarcastically. Tabitha’s eyes lit up, and Sydney groaned, already regretting her jest.

“…Tabitha?” She asked warily.

Tabitha just batted her eyelashes, and didn’t say a word. Rosie looked amused, but chose not to comment, and Jon cleared his throat.

“Anyway, we’re going to be…smiting this avatar.”

The class began to cheer.

“PENUT MURDER JELLY TIME!” “LET’S GET THIS BREAD!” “CEASLESS WATCHER, TURN YOUR GAYS UPON THAT WRETCHED THING!” “Gaze?” “Gays” “MURDER! MURDER! MURDER!”

The class began to chant, and Jon began to get a headache.

On the walk to the Desolation’s domain, the kids pestered Jon with questions.

“Where’d you get those scars?” Tabitha asked, grabbing his arm and wobbling it a bit. He rolled his eyes, and sighed.

“Which one?” He raised an eyebrow dully.

Tabitha wasn’t fazed. “The circles.”

“…Worms.” He said, grimacing. Martin had the same expression on his face.

“Worms?” Riko said incredulously.

“What kind?” Tabitha asked, before he could answer Riko’s inquiry.

“The kind that hate me.” Jon said simply, and Cal laughed softly.

The class’ eyes widened, and they all looked around, silently communicating as if a hive mind. Martin and Jon shared an apprehensive glance.

It was unnervingly silent.

They continued their walk in silence for the next few minutes, but then Cypress started to hum. It was a childish toon, but Martin could recognize that he’d heard it before.

The rest of the class began to hum, before Tabitha started to sing.

“Nobody likes me, everybody hates me, I think I’ll go eat worms.”

Martin’s eyes widened comically and Jon choked. Christ, what had he gotten into?

“What-”

“Big fat juicy ones-” Elliot continued.

“Eensie weensy squeensy ones-” Sydney chimed in lightly.

“See how they wiggle and squirm!-” Raphi sang, grinning.

“Down goes the first one, down goes the second one. Oh how they wiggle and squirm! Up comes the first one, up comes the second one. Oh how they wiggle and squirm!” The class now sang in unison, privy to Jon and Martin’s growing horror at the situation.

“Wait a second now-” Martin started, but Raphi cut him off with a grin.

“I bite off the heads, and suck out the juice, and throw the skins away!” He jeered, singing loudly.

Jon facepalmed, horrified and uncomfortable at how the class seemed to work as a hive mind just to taunt them.

The class once again began to sing in unison.

“Nobody knows how fat I grow on worms three times a day! Nobody likes me, everybody hates me I think I'll go eat worms! Big fat juicy ones, eensie weensy squeensy ones; see how they wiggle and squirm!” They were a cacophony of voices mixing horribly against Jon’s ear.

He was reminded of Grifter’s bone, and decided that their music couldn’t possibly be any worse than this.

Martin was still open mouthed, and Jon had his head in his hands.

“That was so smexy!” Tabitha said dreamily, referring to the song. Martin balked.

“No-no, wha-okay, you know what, lets keep walking, yeah?” Martin grabbed Jon’s hand and began to speed-walk ahead, tugging him along. Class 108 snickered.

“Hey, can your boss hear us right now?” Cypress asked, and Jon raised an eyebrow.

“I suppose so. Why?” Jon answer cautiously, not liking where this was going. Cypress grinned, his teeth glinting in the green light of the eye.

He turned around and started pointing at the coward in the tower. “HEY! YOU! PISS BITCH! EYEBALL DADDY’S SUGAR BABY LITTLE BITCH VOYEUR! I BET YOU’RE GAY!”

“Cypress, aren’t you gay?” Cal asked, trying to told back his laughter.

“That’s not important. What is important is that-,” Cypress stopped, pausing to think before turning to Jon, “what’s your boss’ name?”

“Jonah Magnus, but I really do not think you-”

“JONAH MAGNUS? MORE LIKE JONAH MAGNET, BECAUSE YOU REPEL ALL THE POSITIVE PEOPLE WHEN THEY SEE YOUR AWFUL FACE YOU UGLY REGENCY LOOKING ASS BITCH!” Tabitha shrieked, going to join Cypress in his epic pursuit of victory.

“How-how did you know he was from the regency era?” Martin asked, confused.

“He just gave me those vibes, ya know?” Tabitha asked, though Sydney sensed that she was a little off-put at where she’d gotten that information.

“…those vibes?” Jon deadpanned, noticeably off-put as well.

“Mhm. What do you mean he was from the regency era though?” Tabitha questioned, tilting her head curiously.

Jon sighed, and Rosie noted in her head that this was the eighty-first time he’d sighed in response to Tabitha’s questions. Typical.

“He’s a body snatcher-” Jon started, only to be interrupted by Raphi.

“Like Koh?” he asked, and Riko snickered

“Who-you know what, never mind. Sure. He basically put his eyeballs in other people’s sockets to steal their bodies and continue running the institute.” Jon explained, and a look of mild horror crossed his face as Cypress began to grin.

“So what you’re saying,” Cypress began, and Cal groaned, putting his head in his hands, “is that he put his balls in other people’s holes?”

Tabitha keeled over, snickering, and Riko flipped him off. Katie, who was as stoic as ever, sighed, but Cal could tell she looked amused.

Jon and Martin wore twin looks of horror in response to Cypress’…interesting sense of humor.

They knew it would not be the last time.
