Mei absolutely WANTS to be MK's friend. And MK in return. However, MK is very strict with himself on following the rules of "Stand at your post, Do not leave unless it is to train, don't speak unless you are told to by someone of upper ranking."

So he never says anything when Mei is there, and Mei is POSITIVE she can break that silent streak. XD

Very cute to think about an MC being super shy as a kid so Aeran was always the one taking the lead/instigating shennanigans, but now the roles have reversed and persuasionmaxxed adult MC is like do not worry i will do the talking :) while Aeran grumps in silence slightly offscreen lol. Also the razzing opportunities on both sides…off the charts

Simone is one of my favorite survivors, what are you going to draw her as?

Simone! I have drawn her placeholder in my sweet religion animatic, but she’s a zebra! I have a few reasons for this;

Reason 1; her game. Pounds of flesh was set up to be unfair towards Simone, pitting her against a man who quite literally has more flesh than her to give. Despite this, she cuts her arm off and wins.

Herbivores in general tend to be less equipped to survive John’s games as they lack the teeth and claws that are designed to rip and tear flesh. In pounds of flesh however, Simone has a secret advantage. Her hooves. Made of keratin, they’d cause her arm to weigh much more than a non hooved animal, giving her own advantage that she just has to use her brain to take advantage of

Reason 2; her personality. Simone is known as one of the most defiant survivors against jigsaw’s method, and would be the hardest to indoctrinate into the cult. She is also very outspoken about this towards Hoffman and the survivors group.

Now onto the animal.

Zebras are known to be very aggressive, stubborn equines; this is the reason they haven’t been domesticated. They are too unpredictable to tame.

A celestial warrior can’t show any fear or weaknesses. How did the celestial realm train MK to not be afraid ? Did they do it and if so, in a nice way or a more brutal way ?

Was Nezha the only one who got to teach MK ?

Was MK forced to confront his fear of spiders ?

He was forced to face his fears on daily. It did not mean his fear for spiders left, he just learned to hide it better when he got older.

When MK would show fear, or weakness, they would not punish the boy physically. For several reasons:

-They couldn't get over the guilt of hitting a child.

-They found it far more impactful if instead of MK, they punished the one responsible for him.

-Nezha would always willingly take the responsibility of his own accord. "He is under my protection. My student. If he fails, so do I."

some new people at the sorcerers' society being absolutely terrified when hearing about mc for the first time - the only person to ever have pacts with all of the seven deadly sins, and is still just an apprentice? to one of the founders, no less?! this person must be terrifying!!

and then they meet mc. a sheep. a sentient fluffball that the founder is horrendously down bad for. he calls them adorable in casual conversation.

The newbies are like, this explains why everyone says to stay away from Solomon. He's clearly missing some brain cells.

And like yeah I'd be baffled too, but truly the thing to fear is that sheep's posse. If they brought everybody, just imagine sheep MC rolling into the Sorcerer's Society headquarters with seven demon lords, a demon prince, a time traveling demon butler, a demon noble, two (and a half) angels, a reaper, and Solomon himself backing them up. And they're just like, this sheep's with us. I think I'd be pretty freaked out lol.

However, in true MC fashion they'd also be irresistible and in the end, every sorcerer at that society would wonder why they have a crush on a sheep.

whenever people talk about who John Constantine would take in as an apprentice and they bring up characters like Jason Todd or Xanthe Zhou because they've been re-animated from the dead or whatever I think these are foolish options. As an anti-legacy character, Johnstantine is supposed to lose his friends and loved ones so these non-committal nerds are out of the question. But you know who actually commits to the bit? Of being dead? And would be a perfect Johnstantine companion???

yeah that's right. He's so good at being dead that he was dead before he was even born. Which is to say he was never born. Goldie's not even an apprentice he just hangs out and haunts the guy. This is the only correct answer.
