Astrology observations - Part 4 (use whole signs)

🌟 Moon in 4th is one of my favourite placements. These people usually have a good career, like an emotionally fulfilling one. They won't stay in a job that doesn't make them happy. Their mom can help them choose a career or give them interview tips.

🏮Mars in 2nd house people are so lucky when it comes to earning money, it's like, they get a new money making opportunity just when they're on their last penny. They're also not afraid to get their hands dirty and are willing to do almost anything, very hard working people. They're also the ones managing all the money in their family.

🌟 Mercury in 8th house people are the ones with a "sexy brain" like the WAY their mind works, are so good at analysing arguments and coming up with the best possible solution. Good debating skills. These people have great manifestation skills, I have a list of 100 + incidents, it's honestly a little scary. Can also develop clairvoyant abilities if they work on it.

🏮I haven't met a single non religious, Sun in 9th house person in my life. Even if they're not that religious in their younger years, they will be when they get older. Always willing to help others even when they themselves are suffering, my mom has this, and.....it pisses me off so bad. The "put your own oxygen mask on first" advice is for you all. Stop helping people, be selfish, it's not your duty to make everyone else's life better. My mom doesn't listen, but maybe you all will.

🌟 Venus in 11th house is a placement that's really good from a business perspective. They're great at negotiations so that's helpful. They won't like doing a regular 9 to 5 job as it will suppress their freedom and creativity. They will open their own business pretty early on in life, in like late 20's or early 30's. Great architects and interior designers. I remember when I made the architecture and astrology post, a lot of people had this.

🏮I haven't seen anyone talk about this, but moon in 6th house people can be really good leaders, they're very helpful and kind and their ability to understand emotions makes them extremely likable. They have more of a people oriented leadership style. They focus on building strong relationship with their group members or employees. Also, why are you all always sick ��? Prone to anxiety and stress and this leads to body pain and digestive issues. Please put your health first.

🌟 It's really funny how ALL my friends, every single one, has Venus in 1st. I would say that rather than us being pretty, we're just very likable. Even if they're introvert or shy, they have a communication style that makes other people want to talk to them. It's just an aura thing, tbh. Also, they're huge people pleasers and will do their best not to offend anyone, like even if a person is being annoying, they won't say anything. (Mars in 1st can change this)

🏮 Jupiter in 2nd house is not good for marriage but great for career and friendships. I know people with this who are still in contact with their pre school friends. Their friends will help them in their career as well. They're intelligent but they think they're not, and this makes them lose a lot of opportunities. Need to have a little bit of courage to succeed in life.

🌟 Sun in 12th house people probably had a painful childhood (more so than others), if mercury is with sun in 12th, then they write poems to express this pain. They're good writers, and can be lyricists, authors, script/play writers, etc. these people are physically weak. Might also not know who they are, as in, not aware of their own personality traits.

🏮Saturn in 12th house people lack confidence when they're young, but become more confident as they get older and learn to get out of their comfort zone. These people have better luck outside of their homeland. This is a good placement if you want to become a psychologist as it gives you the ability to properly analyse those with mental disorders. They also look aloof most of the time. This is another placement that is good in terms of writing skills, many famous authors have this (those who write sad stuff)

Intro:

You work as a bartender at one of the best bars in the city. The pay is decent, especially with tips, and overall, you’re pretty content with where you are in your career. The only issue? Your lease is about to end, and every new place you’ve looked at has been outrageously expensive.

One night, while venting about it to your friend and coworker Mingi, the bar’s security, he mentioned an open room for rent at the house he lives in.

He explained that it’s a mansion passed down through generations in the landlord’s family. He’s been living there for a few years now with seven other guys, and the landlord? A sweet, humble older woman who doesn’t care much about profit. She just wants to rent to good people and keep the house lived in.

Naturally, you were skeptical. Eight guys? A mansion? Too many red flags. But Mingi reassured you, it was a good space, the roommates were chill, and the rent was somehow cheaper than your current apartment.

Eventually, he brought you over to see it. You were expecting something flashy, intimidating. But the mansion turned out to be warm, cozy, less extravagant and more homey than you'd imagined. And when you met a few of the others, you felt comfortable right away. It didn’t take long for you to say yes.

Now here you are, seven months later.

You settled in faster than expected. Most of the guys welcomed you easily. It took a little more time with Yeosang and Yunho, but even they opened up eventually.

What you didn’t expect, though, was how hot and intense things could get with them.

And god, was it hot.

You always knew your libido was higher than most—none of your exes had ever been able to keep up. But these men?

They were something else entirely.

Character Introductions:

You – Bartender. The most recent to join the house. Reserved at first, but warm, caring, and easy to get along with once comfortable. Mostly submissive, with a soft dominant streak that shows around the right people.

Seonghwa – Fashion designer. Meticulous, calm, and quietly commanding. Manages the house like it’s part of his brand—organized, elegant, and always in control when it counts.

Hongjoong – Songwriter and producer. Creative, intense, and constantly working odd hours in his studio. Sharp-witted with a habit of teasing just to watch you squirm.

Yunho – Business management major with a hospitality minor. Polished, dependable, and flirtatious in the most casual, disarming way. The type to make your heart race with a single comment—then act like he didn’t mean it.

Yeosang – Law student. Private, intelligent, and observant to a fault. He doesn’t speak often, but when he does, it hits. Gives off silent authority and unshakable composure, with something darker simmering underneath.

San – Architecture student. Sweet, affectionate, and physically expressive—until things turn heated. In bed, he’s all control, with a soft spot for brats who need taming.

Wooyoung – Performing arts major. Loud, physical, shamelessly flirty, and always stirring the pot. Loves attention, lives for praise, and crumbles beautifully under dominance.

Mingi – Bar security and part-time choreographer. Playful, protective, and deceptively laid-back. Loves touch, thrives on rhythm, and turns surprisingly serious when he takes control.

Jongho – Coder by day, game streamer by night. Grounded, quiet, and impossibly strong. He gives more than he takes—focused entirely on your pleasure, with calm intensity that sneaks up on you.

1. Turning Surfboard Waste Into Sustainable Housing

“A Hawaiian architecture firm has found a creative way to repurpose discarded surfboard foam by transforming it into building blocks for constructing homes. […] The firm also partners with local businesses to collect foam from packaging materials[….] While the materials used are lightweight, they still offer excellent insulation and durability, addressing both environmental and practical needs.”

2. HHS Walks Back “Autism Registry” Plans

“Thursday April 24th, HHS said in written statements to multiple journalists that they will not be creating an autism registry, contrary to Dr. Bhattacharya’s statements. HHS’ reversal on creating an autism registry shows that even when it seems that no one is listening, your voice matters. Public outcry seems to have caused HHS to change course and walk away from some of the most concerning aspects of the project. Right now, HHS does not appear to be creating a centralized list of autistic people that could be used against our community.”

5. Loos to loaves: How the ‘nervous wees’ of London Marathon runners are being turned into fertiliser

“The campaign is powered by Peequal, a company designing women’s urinals that it claims are 2.7 times faster to use than traditional port-a-loos[.…] Instead of being sent into sewage systems, the collected urine will be treated using bacteria to extract nutrients like nitrogen, a chemical that wheat craves. The fertiliser will then be trialled on test fields to evaluate its performance. According to NPK Recovery’s estimates, 1,000 litres of urine could eventually grow enough wheat for about 195 loaves of bread.”

Yeah, they went in a different direction this time.

Pretty sure this is meant to evoke feelings of the American 1960's. The art style and colours are one tip off, and the suit design is 60's influenced

the architecture of the house is 60s style.

I know there is computers, but that's the only modern thing about the visuals in the entire comic.

EVERYBODY is smoking, even the doctors, even with an oxygen tank nearby.

That is deliberately evocative of an era, whether or not this takes place in a modern age it wants us to exist emotionally in a place of a place of ...... a place of what? nostalgia? unease? uncertainty and hope? Am I supposed to imagine a white mans 1960's? because that .... well.... you know.

What was the 60s to you who were never there to experience it? So... either a laptop computer in the 1960's OR a strange alienating trip through somebody else's nostalgia that is only isolating and frightening to you?

Trying to figure out the world in the first issue of a comic is a lot like piecing together a case when you don't have all the evidence yet.

You're gonna hear people use the word "psychedelic" a lot to describe this book.

People will discuss the books attempts to convey the psychedelic state of the protagonist, how his perceptions are being altered how he is being made aware of something "other" while simultaneously unaware of the veracity of his own perception. Well I posit to you that this book is attempting to approximate such a state in the reader. This book is attempting to alter your perceptions, making you perceive something that you can not be sure of. Enjoy the questions, it is often the asking that matters to us in the end, more than the answers. Here's some nice music from the 60's to listen to, maybe while you read, maybe while you think.

So the kid is non-verbal autistic, that's pretty cool representation, love to see it.

I sure hope they don't portray it in a harmful and offensive way. I speculate they connect empathically and share each others secrets through a new bond of understanding but idk they might try to fucking cure him.

oh nothing just thinking about buck tirelessly searching for a new place to live, all his stuff packed away in a storage unit while he crashes on maddie’s couch living out of a suitcase under the pretense of helping out with the newborn baby. just thinking about buck showing up to every shift completely exhausted from the colicky baby keeping him up all night and the too stiff couch destroying his spine. thinking about eddie and his crushing guilt, having practically forced (he didn’t force him to do anything but eddie’s not willing to hear that) buck to give up not one, but two places he called home. thinking about buck running through a hundred real-estate listings and finding himself unable to settle on anything because he’s not looking for a particular architectural style or layout. he doesn’t care about vaulted ceilings or kitchen islands vs peninsulas or hardwood vs carpeting. what he’s searching for is immaterial and irreplaceable, and it aches. thinking about eddie noticing, telling buck he can come back under the guise of offering a soft mattress. “I can handle sleeping on the couch for a couple nights, buck.” and thinking about buck all hunched over, back spasming, under eyes dark and droopy pulling his lips into a tight smile, muttering a weak “I’m fine.” thinking about months going by and maddie trying to talk some sense into him, causing buck to finally admit out loud that no place he chooses is going to be good enough because it’s not about the walls it’s about the life that lives inside them. the joy. the family. thinking about maddie saying “not that I don’t appreciate your help in all of this, really, but you can’t stay here forever. you deserve the chance to build your own family too.” and buck just laughing, choking on a sob, saying “I thought I already had,” and melting into her. thinking about buck calling up the real-estate agent the next day while on shift, asking her if she could show him some new locations, or even show him the old ones again so he could look at them with fresh eyes. thinking about eddie over hearing the conversation and his stomach sinking, noticing that those fresh eyes buck speaks of are actually lifeless. the eyes of someone who has given up. thinking about eddie standing in the center of his house, moments of the past flashing in every corner, snippets of joy that exist in the shadows. every flash containing the same three people. every memory a vision of the two curly haired boys who bring nothing but light to the darkest parts of his imagination. one of those two boys living under the roof of a quiet, dark and lonely house. thinking about chris feeling it too. the air inside is so heavy, the lively color desaturated, smiles forced, conversations stunted. feeling like any second now the house is going to collapse under the weight of everything missing because they lost a piece of the foundation. thinking about eddie tracing the memories in the walls—the patches in the bedroom where they couldn’t quite get the texturing right after sealing up the holes, the markings on the door frame, initial and dates by each one: the very bottom marked with a “C.D. 2018”. eddie tracing up and up, dragging along each tick of his growing boy until they stop, and there’s a gap, looking just above his eye level landing on the two markings that stand away from the rest, two inches apart from each other. “E.D 2023. E.B. 2023.” his fingers brushing over the two, taking him back to that st. patrick’s day when they got drunk and buck insisted he was six foot three, drunkenly stumbling over to the designated door frame with a fine tip sharpie and a tape measure. eddie was right. buck was six foot two and a half.

thinking about eddie mindlessly showing up at one of athena’s open houses, unsure of why, just a magnetic pull drawing him in that direction until he’s standing in the center of the kitchen, his mind filling in the empty space with buck standing in front of the oven, apron tied tight around his waist, coated in a thin sheet of flour and sugar. chris sitting at the kitchen island perched on a stool with his head buried in his math textbook, periodically opening his mouth for buck to throw chocolate chips into. laughing and giggling. it’s not a memory. it’s a vision. thinking about eddie nervously sending buck a text asking if buck had any luck with apartment hunting, and buck telling eddie about a studio apartment on the other side of the city that he put an offer on. thinking about eddie clutching his chest in the middle of athena and bobby’s dream kitchen, panicking at the mere idea of buck being so far from him…as if eddie hadn’t put an even greater distance between them before. at least buck would still be in the same city. same state. but still. eddie sending a text back. is it everything you were looking for, and buck’s typing bubble appearing and disappearing for five minutes until buck just says—it has to be. thinking about eddie bumping into athena on his way out, athena questioning what eddie is doing there and eddie unable to find the words to explain it because he honestly doesn’t know the answer himself. Instead, asking her why she wants to sell. thinking about athena, knowingly running her hand along the length of his arm and giving him a soft smile. thinking about athena telling him she used to think she needed something tangible to hold onto her memories. she was destroyed when the house burned down, all those memories of her kids growing up and falling in love with bobby reduced to ash…except they weren’t. she thought she had to rebuild to get them back, but she realized her life’s story wasn’t held in the walls of a house she tried to rebuild, it was in everything. bobby was right there with her in every trip to the grocery store, in every high speed chase and building collapse. thinking about eddie realizing maybe home wasn’t simply los angeles or a house on south bedford street. maybe home was inside buck and christopher, wherever they were. thinking about eddie acting without thinking, rushing home to christopher, feeling a little shitty about asking to uproot his life again. thinking about christopher just smiling at his dad, all frantic and nervous, simply saying “okay” to eddie’s absolutely outlandish proposition. “this is crazy, right?” eddie asking him, and christopher just laughing. “yeah, but you’re crazy about buck so it’s not exactly surprising.” and eddie just…does not have time to unpack all of that, instead just rolling his eyes, kissing his sons curls, asking one extra “you sure?” for good measure, and smiling when chris confirms. thinking about eddie wasting no time at all before calling buck’s real estate agent, sounding like a mad man trying to get this random lady to play a part in his little scheme.

thinking about buck receiving a call from his real-estate agent that she has one more property to show him and buck confused because he already decided on a place, he was just waiting for approval. buck asking if the studio fell through, and her saying no…just that she thinks she found a place that has exactly what he’s been looking for. and buck would be lying if he wasn’t intrigued. thinking about buck following behind her in his jeep, taking familiar turn after familiar turn until he’s wound up parked in front of bobby and athena’s home. thinking about buck giving her a weird, disbelieving look because this is way way way out of his budget, and too big for just one person. she just smiles at him in a way that makes him feel like he’s going crazy, offering nothing more than a “just trust me, okay?” thinking about buck walking inside and finding that he’s not alone, that inside the familiar house on the familiar street stands two familiar faces and buck is just…confused? “what’s happening?” he asks, and eddie just smiling at him, not answering him, and yeah, buck is definitely losing his mind. thinking about eddie having had this whole speech prepared but every last word getting caught in his throat as he stands there face to face with buck, suddenly and all at once rethinking every decision that somehow led him here, watching every possible worst-case scenario play out like a blooper reel in front of his eyes. thinking about chris squeezing his hand, wordlessly telling him to buck up. and thinking about eddie just blurting out the no context, absolutely confusing “live with me.” squeezing chris’s hand back and speaking again, hoping to clarify but not really succeeding, “live with us.” thinking about buck staring back at him, at a total loss. “I can’t sleep on a couch for the rest of my life, eddie,” he says, like eddie is being ridiculous, and eddie clarifying “you wouldn’t sleep on the couch,” and then buck, still confused, “you shouldn’t have to sleep on the couch either, and chris definitely shouldn’t have to sleep on the couch…” and okay, yeah, the conversation has derailed cause what are they even talking about? thinking about chris butting in and yelling, “why are we talking about couches!?” and buck and eddie just stunned into silence, but not for long. thinking about buck breaking the silence with a “your house only has two bedrooms, chris,” he says, like it’s so simple. what he’s really saying is there’s no room for me, and god it makes something ache inside eddie’s chest. buck, so afraid to take up space while eddie is just desperate to be consumed by it. he wants to see buck in every corner, in every inch of the earth. not in memories of the past, but in visions of the future.

thinking about eddie laughing. something small and slight but jarring enough to catch buck off guard. “I’m not asking you to live there.” eddie says, and buck is waiting for him to finish that thought, because he, for some reason, doesn’t fucking get it yet. but eddie waits. he lets it sit there, suspended in the air, waiting for the synapses to start firing, watching buck intently as the realization crashes into him like a goddamn tsunami. thinking about buck, jaw gone slack, disbelief written on every inch of his body, “wait…here?” he asks, and now it’s chris’s turn to laugh, saying, “this place has three bedrooms, so no couches needed.” and buck just stares between the two of them cause what? but? and buck doesn’t even realize he’s stuttering until he finally manages to find the words he’s looking for, “but that’s your home, eddie.” and he says it like it’s so simple, and for the first time since buck walked through that door, eddie knew exactly what to say next. “it’s my house, but it’s not my home, buck,” he says, taking just one step closer, “you and chris, you guys are my home.” and buck just…he melts. but eddie just continues, holding the flame right next to him until buck is a puddle on the ground. “I can’t let you move to the other side of the city, not when I just got you back. I’m not letting my family get fractured again. so live with us, here, in the house bobby and athena built for a family to live in.” thinking about buck, feeling like he oughta pinch himself because he’s dreaming. he must be dreaming. buck can’t help but fight it, “we can’t afford this, eddie.” and he realizes that he hasn’t said no, and eddie realizes it too. before either of them can say anything else the real-estate agent buts in—has she been standing there the whole time—with an “actually, I already ran the numbers, your combined incomes are more than enough.” and buck wants to bring up his credit score, and all the other reasons why this would be a terrible idea but he can’t, not while eddie and christopher are standing there, asking him the question he’s always wanted to be asked, giving him the thing he’s longed for his whole life: a family, his family. thinking about buck, quietly, apprehension thick in his voice, muttering a hopeful and desperate, “are you sure?” and eddie, eyes lighting up like stars going full supernova, saying, “I’ve never been more sure about anything in my entire life.” thinking about buck surging forward, enveloping both of his boys in his embrace, sinking into the two of them, clinging to them like he was afraid they’d disappear. thinking about the real-estate agent chiming in once more, with a “I’ll take that as my cue to put in an offer…and to withdraw the one for the studio,” and the chorus of “yes”s couldn’t have come out quicker.

thinking about a couple weeks later, the two of them moving their collective belongings into their shared home, bits and pieces of all three of them littering the walls. thinking about their extended fire family helping them move in…even maddie and chim, passing around a four month old like a hot potato. thinking about how nobody questions the arrangement, like it was something that everyone expected to happen. buck and eddie are buying a house together and the sky is blue. everyone helps them set up their respective rooms, and nobody says anything when two weeks later, bucks room is suddenly a guest room.

Bucky was exhausted. He had been working three jobs for four years now just trying to get by, and this was his sixth sixteen hour day in a row. Student loans and credit card debt was eating him out of house and home, in the most literal sense. Even living in a rent controlled building wasn’t helping with the bills piling up. He had gone to college for architecture and interior design, which he was doing now working as an assistant during normal working hours for one of the many local interior designers. Then he would go straight to his second job as a waiter in a high end restaurant in downtown Manhattan, then at the end of the night go home and do a few more hours of online tutoring. He had ended his 20s and entered his 30s feeling like an old man, with no end in sight of ever getting a break or being able to break even with his debt. Forget about dating or having a family someday. That all seemed like a ridiculous pipe dream now.

“Heeeeyyyy Buckaroo?” Steve sidled up to him as he was cleaning off wine glasses.

“No,” Bucky cut him off.

“But it’s just–”

“Steve, it’s Friday night, I’d really like to go home and get in bed at a normal time tonight,” Bucky interrupted him, the dark circles under his eyes that he tried to ignore looking more prominent by the day.

“I know, I know, I’m sorry. But Peggy has been hounding me about going to that new burlesque club that just opened and I told her I was working but we haven’t had a date night in a long time–”

“Ugh, fine. But I’m not sharing tips,” Bucky sighed, rubbing his face as he pulled a 5 Hour Energy out of his apron pocket and quickly downed it like a shot.

“Those are bad for you, Buck,” Steve gave his friend a worried look.

“Well maybe a heart attack in my 30s will put me out of my misery,” Bucky half-joked. Steve was silent. Bucky turned to him and scoffed. “It’s a joke. Go, I’ll take the closing shift. Say hi to Peg for me.”

“I’ll take your next closing, I promise. Thanks punk,” Steve gave him a quick hug.

“Yeah whatever, jerk,” Bucky laughed. As Steve went to the back to change, Bucky went to the host stand and figured out who was his next table.

“Whatcha got for me, witchy woman?” he leaned against the stand. Wanda gave him a quick glance.

“I told you to stop calling me that,” she sighed, looking back down at the list.

“It’s not my fault you got witch eyes. And I never said that was a bad thing,” Bucky said, wiggling his eyebrows.

“Yeah whatever,” she rolled her amber eyes. “You’re gonna love this one. A Wall Street investment heiress, with some famous friends,” she gave him an unimpressed look.

“An heiress, huh? Well maybe she’ll be my next sugar mama,” he joked, giving her a wink as he adjusted his apron.

“You wouldn’t know how to be a sugar baby even if you tried,” she sassed back at him. “Table 42. She’s all yours.”

“Thanks babes,” he sing-songed at her before heading towards his section. As he approached table 42 he tried to see who the heiress was, but she was unfortunately facing away from him. Her friends, though, he easily recognized from some of the most recent films that had just hit theaters: Clint Barton and Natasha Romanov. Jackpot, he thought with a wry smile.

“Good evening, folks, welcome to Marea. My name is Bucky and I’ll be your server tonight. Could I get you started with some drinks? Or a review of our wine list?” He gave them all a friendly smile as he looked each of them in the eye at least once. The actors gave him quick smiles and glances before ordering generic wines and waters, then the heiress caught his eye. He almost did a double take once he realized who she was. Y/N Y/L/N, the daughter of Wall Street Tycoon Gerald Y/L/N. She was set for life and beyond. Her father was the investment king, knowing just when to buy in or sell out. She had taken on his legacy by doing the same but instead of investing in huge corporations she was investing in smaller businesses and projects, being the key investor until the business could truly thrive, giving her investment a return and getting a chance to grow in an area like New York City. She was the reason the new burlesque club opened that Steve was going to with Peggy. Not only was she wealthy, she was beautiful. Short in stature and plus size, she was an anomaly surrounded by her tall and slim friends, but she embraced her size and used it as a way to both literally and figuratively take up space in the industry and bring attention to the issues of body image, fatphobia, and investing in plus size companies and designers who she exclusively worked with for clothing her for events.

Bucky tried not to ogle and quickly gave her his best flirtatious smile. “And for you?” he asked her.

Y/N gave him an appreciative smile and her bright Y/C/E eyes seemed to really look at him rather than a passing glance like her friends. “I’d like to hear the wine menu, please.”

“Wonderful, we have a…” As he listed off the wines Y/N watched him intently, her eyes searching his face. He felt like he was the one being ogled and yet he persevered, trying not to sound nervous while serving some of the most influential and popular people in the world.

“It all sounds delicious, but I’m a creature of habit, so I think I’ll stick with my favorite Rose, the Billecart-Salmon. And I’ll also have water on the side.”

“Excellent choice, ma’am. Give me a moment and I’ll get those drinks out to you all,” he glanced at them all again before slipping away to the bar for the drinks.

Y/N watched him leave, a small smile on her face, before turning back to her friends. They eyed her ruefully with mischievous smiles. “What?” she asked.

“He’s cute,” Natasha commented, one eyebrow raised at her.

“Very cute. One could even say hot,” Clint added, watching Bucky walk back to the bar. “He’s got a great ass. Too bad he’s working here. He’d look divine in a Prada campaign.”

“You two stop it,” Y/N whispered, giving them a wide eyed glare. “Yes he’s cute.”

“You gonna go for it?” Natasha asked, her grin twisting into something conspiratorial.

“Oh do it! If you won’t, I’ll try my luck,” Clint shifted in his seat as he continued watching Bucky. “See if he goes both ways.”

Bucky was walking back with the drinks on a tray. Y/N narrowed her eyes and made the gesture for them to zip it.

“Alright, here are your drinks! Your waters, and the Sauvignon blanc for you,” he set it in front of Clint, “the Stella Artois for you,” he set it in front of Natasha, “and the Billecart-Salmon Rose for you.” He delicately set it in front of Y/N giving her another warm smile. She reciprocated it as she reached for her wine. She took a quick sip and her eyes fluttered shut.

“Perfect, thank you Bucky,” she said as she licked her lips.

Bucky’s eyes widened slightly before he caught himself. “Well, would you like to start with any appetizers? Or jump right into the good stuff?” he huffed a laugh.

“I’d like the lobster with the salad,” Clint ordered. “And could you make sure that the lobster is really big and thick. I like them meaty.”

Y/N’s eyes widened at him and his not-so-subtle innuendo. Bucky knew what he was doing and just let it slide, nodding in agreement. “I’ll put in a good word with the chef.”

Natasha next to him giggled before ordering. “I’ll just take the scallops and shrimp.”

Bucky nodded before turning to Y/N. “I’ll have the crab cakes and risotto, please.” He nodded again and gave her a smirk.

“My favorite,” he gave her a wink, making her blush. “I’ll get those in and come back to check on you all in a little bit,” he swept the table with a smile before walking back to the kitchen.

“Stop it, don’t embarrass him,” Y/N chastised Clint. “I’m sure he and the other servers get enough grief from creepy patrons all the time.”

“Oh it was just a little fun. Besides, he’s all eyes for you, honey, he barely even looked at me,” he shot back at her as he sipped his wine.

“It’s true,” Natasha said, then gave her an exaggerated wink. Y/N rolled her eyes. “I think you should ask him out. Or maybe he can be your next sugar baby.”

“Oh don’t bring that up again,” Y/N groaned. “It was a one time thing and ended badly. I just wanted to try it.”

“It ended badly because he was an ass, not because of anything you did. You gave him charity and he gave you an attitude. This guy seems sweet, nothing can hurt from just asking,” Natasha chided her, reaching out and pinching Y/N’s arm lightly.

Y/N considered her words. She had wanted to try out the lifestyle of being a sugar mama to a sugar baby. She had a lot of events to go to throughout the year, and as much as she enjoyed spending time with her friends and networking with people, she was getting really tired of these high-class, ridiculous men who thought that just by being famous or wealthy that she would throw herself at them. They wanted to use her for her name and connections. They never really cared about her. So she had tried being a sugar mama to a man who wasn’t famous, down on his luck, and just trying to get a leg up in life to escort her to these functions and give her companionship. But once he’d gotten his debts paid off by her and a taste of luxury he quickly became influenced by the rich douchebags around him and started treating Y/N disrespectfully, so much so that he’d made front page news of some tabloids and embarrassed her. She kicked him out after that and blacklisted him from any upcoming events. If there was one thing that she would never condone it was when others tried, directly or indirectly, to humiliate or embarrass her.

Bucky did seem nice, and very tired. The dark circles under his eyes and his shirt not being as ironed as some of the other servers were small giveaways that he was struggling. She didn’t want to embarrass him either by asking to be her sugar baby and assuming that he was struggling financially.

“He is very handsome,” she conceded, a larger smile spreading across her face.

Natasha squealed, clapping her hands joyfully. “Do it!”

The night dragged on as they ate their delicious meals and ordered more glasses of wine. Other patrons were clearing out as it got later and closer to closing time. As tired as Bucky was, doing his nightly closing duties quietly and discreetly so his table couldn’t see, he was banking on their tips. High end restaurants meant high end clients meant high end tips, and he had rent coming due next week. He packed on the compliments to Y/N and her friends, gave them warm and flirty smiles, offered complimentary items, and gave all his attention to them exclusively. Y/N had asked to compliment the chef and when he came out and talked to her table she whispered something to him that he quickly agreed to and jogged back to the kitchen. Bucky gave him a questioning glance but the chef waved him off.

Bucky watched carefully until he saw Y/N’s hand raise and her eyes searched for him. His cue for the check, which he quickly grabbed and brought it over to her. As he glanced at the insane price he noticed an extra meal that wasn’t supposed to be on there as he got to the table.

“Oh, I’m sorry Miss Y/L/N, there seems to be a mistake on the bill, I apologize, let me go–”

“No mistake, Bucky,” Y/N reassured him just as the chef came back out with a doggy box. He handed it to her and thanked her for coming. Y/N shook his hand and slipped something into it before he disappeared back to the kitchen wearing a rare smile. “Thank you,” she reached for the bill and slid her black American Express into the folder.

“Oh, alright, I’ll be right back then,” Bucky composed himself after the mini heart attack he just had from thinking the bill was wrong as he walked back to the stand to take her payment. Once everything was paid he brought back the folder, this time seeing her friends standing and putting on their coats while she stayed seated.

“Thank you, Bucky,” Natasha said his name seductively as she passed him. Clint gave him a little wave and a smirk as he left with her.

“Have a good night!” He called after them. He approached the table as Y/N was opening her wallet. “Here’s the receipt Miss Y/L/N. Thank you for coming in tonight.”

“No thank you for such excellent service, Bucky,” she complimented him as she took the folder again. “Will you sit with me for a moment?”

Bucky’s eyebrows raised and he glanced back at the bar. The manager, Pietro, and Wanda motioned to him to do as she asked. “Yes, of course,” Bucky accepted and sat himself in the chair across from her where Clint sat previously.

Her gaze flicked over him as she opened the folder, took the pen provided and filled out the parts of the receipt meant for her. She closed it and slid it over to Bucky who thanked her and placed it in front of himself.

“I have a proposition for you, Bucky. And please understand when I ask this that you are under no obligation to accept it and I don’t mean to embarrass you,” she started, looking a little nervous.

“Okay,” Bucky stated lamely as he watched her.

Y/N cleared her throat and put her fidgeting hands down in her lap. “I would like to offer you a type of job. As an escort, a sugar baby, to me.” Bucky’s eyes widened comically as he processed what she said. “I know it’s a strange request. But it’s something that I enjoy trying and it helps others…sometimes. I don’t want to assume anything of you, but I can tell when someone is struggling, and you look like life has not always been the easiest or kindest to you. I mean no offense.”

“None taken,” he replied automatically. “I…yes,” he looked down as he confessed to her. “It’s been, uh, rough, to say the least.”

“Hm,” Y/N hummed. She reached a finger out and pointed to the closed folder. She gestured for him to open it. He did and took a look over the receipt, nearly choking when he saw the amount on the tip line.

“No, no Miss Y/L/N, this is too much,” Bucky protested as he stared at the number.

“That’s what your service was worth. You are worth every cent, and more,” Y/N praised him. “You don’t have to decide tonight, Bucky, but in the meantime, here’s my card,” she slipped a business card over to him. “Think about it,” she said as she stood up. Bucky quickly stood up with her. Y/N stepped closer to him and reached for his hand. They shook hands and she leaned in and whispered to him, “By the way, you’re very handsome.” Bucky’s eyes bulged and he swallowed hard as she gave him a quick kiss on the cheek then turned and left. Bucky realized as he watched her leave that she had slipped something into his hand. He opened his hand to find a small folded wad of one hundred dollar bills in his palm. “Oh and that’s for you!” She called out and motioned towards the doggy box still sitting on the table. “Your favorite. Dinner’s on me,” she said and gave him a wink then twirled back around and out the door.

After she was out of the restaurant and beyond hearing Wanda and Pietro ran up to him. “How much did she give you?” Wanda squealed as she looked at the bills in his hand. He quickly counted it.

“$1000,” he whispered as he gawked at the money.

“Give me that,” Pietro demanded as he took the folder from Bucky. He opened it and gasped. “She gave you a $2500 card tip?? What did you do, Barnes, give her and everybody at her table a blow job?”

“Wow…I don’t know if I want to be her or be on her,” Wanda said wistfully as she looked back out the glass door where Y/N had already gotten into her car and drove off.

Bucky felt like a weight had been lifted off his shoulders as he stared at the bills, the $2500 floating around in his mind. He was not comprehending just how much she had given him. He looked at her business card again and knew he had to at least meet with her and find out what she was offering. But to become an actual sugar baby? To have a sugar mama? To have his debt disappear? To be taken care of? He smiled as his fingers touched where her lips had been.
