We have officially reached a viewership level that has never been obtained by another museum before! All of us at the Sacramento History Museum are in disbelief.
We would have never thought that our institution, a small nonprofit museum in Sacramento, California, could reach this many views, but we are incredibly thankful for all of those who take the time to watch our videos and for your support.
In this video, Howard letterpress printed a headline announcing “Sacramento History Museum Reaches One Billion Video Views On YouTube” while using our Washington hand press, which was manufactured in 1852!
I always imagined that without Leshys crown he is fully blind but he has a good sense of smell based on what we learn from when he’s turned into a follower. I imagine at some point the bishops will learn to be a family again (not the best but they are working on it) and Leshy wants to feel Narinders face to get an idea because it’s been a while. This is my gf @7moonbird idea

June is Pride Month! This year’s Pride Month marks the 55th anniversary of the Stonewall Uprising in New York City, a series of events between police and LGBTQ+ protesters that stretched over 6 days. This was following a police raid on the Stonewall Inn on June 28, 1969. This was considered the tipping point for the modern LGBTQ+ movement in the United States. Across the country, cities hold Pride events in June. This weekend, Sacramento is holding its Pride festival Downtown.
In honor of Pride Month, Howard letterpress printed “HAPPY PRIDE MONTH” using wood type made by the Hamilton Wood Type Company in the 1880s. HAPPY and MONTH is 15 line pica in size and PRIDE is 30 line pica. This was printed with green rubber base ink using our Washington hand press.
